Для жанра пошаговой стратегии игра очень интересна. С первого раза тебя не мучают утомительным обучением, ты сразу выбираешь персонажей и рвешься в бой. Но тут очень много всего - эффекты, баффы, дебаффы и тд, для кого то это может быть плюс, а для кого то нет

The Review:
Astronarch is a quirky auto-battler that initially hooks you with its charm but unfortunately struggles to maintain its momentum over the course of a full run.
The Good:
There is a lot to appreciate in the early stages of the game. The art style is fantastic, bringing a lot of personality to the roster of multiple characters you can recruit. The underlying mechanics are also solid; discovering the different synergies between specific items and your party members is easily the highlight of the experience. It feels genuinely rewarding to piece together a clever composition.
The Bad:
The fatal flaw of Astronarch is what happens after you’ve successfully built that composition. Once you think you have found your optimal set of items and characters, the game’s engagement drops to zero. Because there is nothing left for the player to actively interact with, you are forced to sit back and watch your team go through multiple events and battles on autopilot.
This lack of mid-to-late game engagement is severely compounded by the complete absence of a "speed up" option. As you progress, the battles become inherently longer, and watching them play out at base speed quickly turns the experience from a fun strategic roguelike into a tedious waiting game.
Final Thoughts:
If you enjoy the theory-crafting phase of auto-battlers and don't mind a completely hands-off approach once your build is complete, you might find some enjoyment here. However, the lack of a fast-forward feature and the sheer boredom that sets in during the later stages significantly drag down what is otherwise a very charming and structurally sound game. If its on sale for 75% off, it is a great game to pass a few hours. Otherwise, I would look to other rogues in the genre.
Disappointed that after 4 years the dev team still hasn't fixed the black screen on steamdeck issue. They don't seem to care enough to make the game playable for linux audiences.

Закрывал всё через ледяного мага, джаггернаута и ассасина, дальше в пачку берёшь любого хила - барда, друида, клерика, а ласт слотом забираешь разбойника.
Заливаешь в единственного танка брони и сидишь смотришь, как разматываешь ласта за 30 минут.
И это грустно. Мало айтемов, мало локаций, мало боссов, мало конкурентных чаров. Быстро приедается. Но на 10 забегов хватит ~5 часов за 180 рублей. Неплохо.
its very fun :D. With how every run is different with the items and where you go on the map, the strategy of using what hero/character, i highly recommed you play this if you enjoy rougelike pixel games with loot and a little bit of party management elements.

If you’re a fan of auto-battlers, you should give Astronarch a try.
As with most auto-battlers, the core gameplay revolves around managing your team: choosing which heroes to bring on a run, deciding what items to equip them with, and picking the best loot after each battle. On paper, that might sound a little cumbersome, but in practice, I found it to be a pure dopamine rush. I quickly found myself hooked on experimenting with different party compositions, chasing synergies, and weighing both easy and tough decisions about which gear would benefit my team the most at any given moment.
I managed to complete the game on my first run, but that’s far from the end. After your initial clear, corruption levels unlock, gradually increasing the difficulty while introducing new bosses and giving you ways to unlock additional characters. There’s plenty of incentive to keep playing and refining your strategies after your first run has came to it's end.
If you love auto-battlers, I think Astronarch is worth picking up at full price. For most players, though, I’d recommend grabbing it on sale (often under $5). I had no issues running it on my LED Steam Deck, and at the sale price, it’s absolutely worth it.
I got too absorbed in the game. It's so difficult but once you get the workarounds, you enjoy it a lot. A simple AFK roguelite which actually challenges how you take on difficult/disadvantageous situations.

По ходу прохождения можно расширять отряд, подбирать артефакты и собирать разные комбинации персонажей. Героев много, достижений тоже хватает, и на этом игра во многом держится. Приятно экспериментировать с составами и смотреть, как по-разному они работают.
При этом игра довольно простая.
Геймплей и визуал без изысков, глубины не так много, и если сравнивать с более крупными представителями жанра, контента здесь заметно меньше. Большую часть артефактов и механик можно увидеть за относительно небольшое количество забегов.
Тем не менее, на несколько часов игра вполне способна увлечь.
Особенно если нравится собирать билды, открывать новых героев и закрывать достижения. Это не та игра, в которую залипаешь на сотни часов без перерывов, но как периодическое развлечение — нормально.
Покупать за полный прайс я бы не стал.
А вот по скидке — вполне можно взять, пройти, поэкспериментировать и спокойно отложить.

Interesting! So, this is an auto-battler where you strategize your set-up, then let your heroes go at it and hope for the best (while maybe influencing the outcome with some potions, if you have them).
If you enjoy "meta-gaming" various strategies and whatnot, you'll probably like this. Each character has a passive and an active ability. Do you try to stock up on healers and "tank" your way through fights? Or maybe go for the all damaging route?
The initial game is easy...but really, is just the tutorial. You can unlock harder challenge levels as well as unlocking characters. You can impact the results by choosing different characters, items for the characters, and positions for them to stand in (you can see in the trailer the red and blue lines that indicate where your heroes and the enemies are going to attack).
I wish there was a way to slow things down...sometimes when I'm watching the combat unfold, I have trouble telling what is happening. With all the various effects and whatnot going off all at once...I have trouble tracking it. Maybe there is a way to unlock various speeds? Not sure.
I can see this as a decent idle game, similar to Soda Dungeon, but perhaps with a bit more strategy involved. If you ever found yourself developing a team that would synergize the best and enjoying it, you'll probably find some fun here! If experimentation, developing strategies you don't directly impact, and a lack of "action" would turn you off, then this one is probably not for you.
It gets harder the more you play, not easier. (recommended)

I was pulled in by the art and I enjoyed the mix heroes. Ultimately while it was enjoyable at first, I was really only playing to see what I could unlock next. Yes the synergies can be interesting to explore but plenty of games do this better. It's not like the synergies are all that exciting or deep and when you combine that with the passive nature of being an autobattler, well it just got boring quick. There are too many other options out there these days, especially for the price. I rate it 6/10.

Недавно попробовал Astronarch — игру, которая вышла ещё в 2021 году, и, честно говоря, она приятно удивила. Это тот самый случай, когда простота работает на атмосферу.
С первых минут попадаешь в уютную таверну, выбираешь героев, расставляешь их по позициям — и вперёд, навстречу приключениям. Каждый забег предлагает выбор: обычные враги, элитные сражения или события с магазином. В конце пути, конечно же, ждёт босс, а после победы можно взять нового героя в команду.
Особенно понравилось, что даже если герой умирает — он не исчезает, а просто отдыхает до конца боя. Есть и интересная механика морали: победы поднимают её, а поражения, наоборот, снижают.
В итоге Astronarch — это именно то, чего ждёшь от хорошего рогалика: понятные механики, приятная визуалка и азарт собирать всё более сильную команду. Игра стоит копейки, особенно на распродаже — так что смело берите и наслаждайтесь.

游戏性还不错，就是流程太短重复太多。通关到腐化3就懒的打了，可以预见后面要一遍一遍的重复这些流程，想想重复10多遍就头大。阵容建议前排畜生+祭司，后排冰法+浪人，空一个选个诗人穿个带隐藏的装备加血，有冰法和浪人两个C足够了，至少到腐化3毫无压力，装备随便穿。装备强烈推荐法老的金币（每25金币给敌人加一个debuff），升满级。边攒金币边打，等到最后BOSS时，一个装备能减BOSS一两百攻击、防御，速度啥的，简直无敌。

Maybe it's unfair but for such a casual game it's a personal hard pass if it doesn't work properly on touchscreen, which it doesn't.
It's just fine sadly most of the characters ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ suck and are barely useable compared to how strong some are, like its hard to use any other tank than gladiator / crusader the rest are soooo bad but using the same stuff gets boring even if its 100% winrate.

If you are a dedicated fan of the auto-battler and rogue-like formulas, while also being a strong meta-/power-gamer, Astronarch would probably be worth a shot. I almost want to give it a tentative recommendation, but my overall experience with the game wasn't a positive experience, more lukewarm, so I went with thumbs down.
Some context/biases:
For auto-battlers, I really enjoyed Team Fight Tactics (most patches), and enjoy Hearthstone's Battlegrounds, DOTA Underlords and a few other popular titles in the genre.
For Rogue-likes, I love Slay the Spire, and enjoy Monster Train, Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup, Brogue, Dwarf Fortress, Cataclysm Dark Days Ahead, Dead Cells, etc.
Given my fairly strong enjoyment of both of the main ingredients used, I don't want to eat more of this pizza.
Although I do not want to continue playing, I don't regret trying it out. It's an execution problem, not an idea problem.
[b]The Good[/b]
1. Moderate variety. A lot of characters/enemies/items/events and possible, though not necessarily viable for run completion, party compositions.
2. Ability to re-organize the party formation and equipped items before each combat, after seeing the enemies party's composition and formation.
3. Art style/direction is good, but the animations are sub-par.
4. Novelty. Astronarch is different enough from StS/MT/TFT/Battlegrounds/Underlords/most rogue-likes for my tastes, so it gets points for creativity in a pretty competitive/saturated market, especially on the Rogue-like side.
5. Music is pretty good. Sound effects and audio in general are okay, nothing special.
[b]The Bad[/b]
1. Although you can read a tool-tip for each creature/enemy unit before combat starts, without clear tutorials/tool-tips or a pause button during combat, it is often very difficult to understand much of what is going on in combat (other than unit deaths and standard attacks), as there is usually a large number of icons across all the units, but without easily readable values for durations/stack counts on buffs/debuffs, and it takes time you really don't have to carefully read each tool-tip during the combat phases. Even after 4 hours I didn't get a good handle on many combat mechanics.
2. Difficulty, Balance, and 'Luck vs. Skill'
I have not completed a run in 4 hours on the lowest opt-in difficulty setting. Many options will significantly boost the effectiveness of a character/item/ability, often by 50-100%, and if it takes too long for you to randomly encounter one of the upgrades, or you don't get the options for right strong items early enough, or you get them in the wrong order, your run is basically doomed. Some of the items and characters and random events have strong synergies, but if you don't figure them out and hit them with RNG, it feels like Slay the Spire at Ascension 15-20: luck is as important as skill, and you have to follow the meta or you lose. That isn't what I'm looking for in a game like this. I want creative expression, the chance to experiment/explore interesting paths. Astronarch didn't provide those paths for me.
A really great auto-battler with solid gameplay and strategy. There are tons of different hero and item combos to try, the runs can get a bit long and once you figure out a strong strategy, it might start to feel a little repetitive. It really works great on Steam Deck without any troubles. Definitely worth checking out if you could find this game interesting, though I recommend grabbing it on sale only.
total sleeper of a game. perfectly combines roguelite, party fighter, and auto battler. i just wish there was more of everything. more characters, more items, more locales, more bosses, more corruption, more modifiers. mod support would have bust this game wide open.
Astronarch es la mejor prueba de que los juegos no son sus gráficos, ni su diseño artístico, ni los numeritos que intentan venderte las compañías cuando se han quedado sin ideas, si no unas buenas mecánicas y la libertad del jugador experimentar con ellas y exprimir hasta la última gota de entretenimiento que contengan.
Este juego es como si a Slay The Spire le quitases las cartas y las cambiases por un grupo de héroes con distintas estadísticas y habilidades, o como si a Darkest Dungeon le quitases todos lo aspectos RPG que tiene y lo convirtieses en un rogue like puro donde todo el progreso que obtendrás entre partidas, a parte de los distintos héroes que irás desbloqueando, solo será el conocimiento que hayas obtenido, esa nueva build que te funcionó, la sinergia entre esos objetos o esas clases que no te habías dado cuenta que funcionaba tan bien hasta que las probaste, y en esa simpleza es donde está su complejidad.
Toda su complejidad y posibilidades se encuentran en los veintiún héroes a elegir para tu equipo y las decenas de objetos que podrán aparecer aleatoriamente durante tu run, lo que te obligará a ir adaptándote a medida que avances pues no hacerlo y obcecarte en tu plan inicial solo te llevará a la derrota, además esto te permitirá descubrir cientos de combinaciones increíbles y sorprenderte con como ese héroe que creías inútil se convierte en una máquina de matar con la build adecuada o como ese trozo de papel es más difícil de atravesar que el hormigón armado si has sabido combinar sus objetos de la forma correcta. No existe un solo camino correcto y descubrir cual es el que mejor te funciona a ti es toda la progresión que necesitarás entre partidas.
A priori puede no llamarte la atención este juego puesto que no tiene una historia, o porque mecánicamente solo tienes que decidir donde colocar a los cinco personajes de tu grupo entre ocho posibles casillas y que objeto elegir después de cada combate, cual vender o comprar en la tienda, o porque visualmente parece dibujado por un adolescente con el paint, pero es uno de los juegos más entretenidos y adictivos que he tenido el gusto de jugar, así que deja de juzgar el libro por su portada y atrévete a adentrarte en él temiendo más la diversión que puedas perderte que el tiempo que puedas perder.

Lo primero que me atrapó de Astronarch fue su arte encantador y la sencillez de su jugabilidad. Aunque es un juego de estrategia, nunca se siente abrumador. Todo lo contrario: su versatilidad y ese aire misterioso hacen que quieras seguir explorando una partida tras otra.
Aún no tengo una combinación favorita de héroes —y eso es lo lindo—: cada uno tiene un diseño y dinámica que lo hace único. Da gusto probarlos a todos y ver cómo interactúan con distintos ítems o sinergias.
En cuanto a dificultad… bueno, digamos que después de la primera victoria, el juego se pone MUY serio, pero no diré más. Descubrirlo por uno mismo es parte de la experiencia.
El sistema de desbloqueo está hecho con inteligencia: te motiva a seguir jugando y probando nuevas estrategias. A medida que avanzás, te das cuenta de que apenas estabas viendo la punta del iceberg.
Un momento que no olvido fue cuando el Berserker y el Paladín cayeron ante el primer jefe… y me quedó solo el Escarchamante. Pensé que era el fin, pero logré ganar. Ese tipo de momentos épicos hacen que valga la pena cada partida.
Si te gustan los juegos de estrategia con un toque roguelike, arte atractivo y desafíos reales, te recomiendo que lo pruebes. Hay muchísimas combinaciones posibles y el juego siempre tiene algo nuevo que mostrar… o una manera divertida de castigarte si no lees bien las instrucciones 😅

I can’t decide if it is fair to vote [i]Astronarch[/i] down. It seems to be a pretty good rogue-like auto-battler, but it is so hard to understand what is right/wrong that I didn’t enjoy the part where I played the game. Figuring out a broken build, optimal combo, or how to deploy your units seemed well designed, so if you like auto-battlers, [i]Astronarch[/i] seems interesting and challenging.

Maybe I am just not built for auto-battlers? At first, I had fun picking units, trying to figure out optimal combos, and just…you know…winning. There are a lot of classes. A few of them feel a little unbalanced (a few good and a few bad), but I couldn’t say there is a [i]must have[/i] or a [i]dear god don’t.[/i] You will have a [b]very[/b] hard time without at least one healer, and it seemed odd that by the time I stopped I had only unlocked 2 that seemed built to actually be healers.
Items and artifacts are [b]very[/b] interesting and a key component of your run and build. On that front [i]Astronarch[/i] is excellent. A single artifact can change the entire build path for your party, and one item can be more important than any skill…. Let me make a minor correction, the [i]correct[/i] artifact or item can do that. Most are awesome in the hands of the right party/build, on J-random party they are probably as useful as nips-on-a-boar.
All this is the mark of a truly [b]awesome[/b] rouge-like. Party choices and builds are critical. Drops will make you build in a certain direction, and could even make you contemplate a complete re-build mid-run.
What I didn’t enjoy can be binned into 2 categories.
First, I really, really did not like how little information you get about how to play the game. It is fine to have a game where you just dive in, but you [b]must[/b] have good tool tips or other ways to understand what is going on. Let’s use [i]Frost[/i] as an example. Abilities apply [i]Frost[/i] as an effect. Cursor over [i]Frost[/i] and it will tell you it reduces SP(ee)D and increases Ability Cost. Great! It does not tell you if [i]Frost[/i] expires, which it doesn’t…so, good. It also doesn’t tell you it only stacks 10x per dude. I had put a lot into building a guy who could stack [i]Frost[/i] to 20-30 in 10 or so seconds…but took me 3 runs to figure out that’s just not how it worked.
It is also super hard to see what is going on because you have to cursor over the icons on top of dudes…the icons shift around constantly as things are applied and expire…and you can’t pause to just assess what is going on, because auto-battler.
Another thing…combat maps have 2 tiles. The game doesn’t tell you [b][i]anywhere[/i][/b] that you have to be on the same tile to be “adjacent” for ability effects…and with how hard it is to tell what is going on, this made it super frustrating to figure out how to make use of abilities with adjacent effects.
Now I am all for “let’s just try a build” and if it’s garbage, I don’t feel bad. I tried it and learned about how to play the game. But when I have no f-in clue how effective it is because I can’t really see or understand what is really going on, that’s bad design.
The other problem category showed up once I knew enough to be dangerous. Basic fights were easy…and easy in an auto-battler means turn your brain off, don’t bother optimizing, just click go. And because I wasn’t actually playing the game…it was boring. Then you hit a boss that you have only fought twice and get spanked.
Now I’m ALL IN on repetitive gameplay to get to a challenge. I am a child of NES [i]Super Mario Bros.[/i] I can’t tell you how many hundreds of hours I spent playing World 1-1. Still fun, even when easy, because I am playing the game. With an auto-battler, you are [b]specifically[/b] not playing the game. I legit surprised myself with how bored I was grinding through Act 1 just to get to the boss.
Then…the kicker. So, you grind through 10 minutes of doing literally nothing to get to a boss. And because the game is so bad at telling you what is really happening during a fight, you might crush it, or get spanked. Ok, Act 1 will probably still be easy after you have 5-6 hours under your belt…but Act 3. You have to sit there, doing mostly nothing for 15-20 minutes just to have a shot at the Act 3 dude where you still aren’t really sure if your build will work.
All that said, [i]Astronarch[/i] does do one thing really well. Once you understand the game…really [i]understand[/i] it, you can build spreadsheets and combos to map out exactly how the game should play out. Get a drop, check your spreadsheet to see if it works with your build. Honestly, that is a well-designed auto-battler. Unfortunately, I don’t have fun doing the math outside the game to see if something is good. [b]I want to play the game[/b] to see if something is good. But that isn’t what an auto-battler is about…so I refer you to my first statement. I’m not sure if a down vote here is fair because this type of game isn’t for me…but I put 15 hours in and I can honestly say I am less than 30% through the accomplishments and I don’t want to play it any more.

This game rules. I wanted something low-energy to play that doesn't require me to plan my entire run ahead of time (cough Across the Obelisk cough). Similar-ish to Path of Achra where you're trying to find synergies.
I only wish there were more DPS characters and less tank characters. Raw damage DPS also kind of sucks compared to status builds (which bypass defense).
8/10 for this genre.

Красивые локации,разнообразные враги да куча оружия и всяких аксессуаров.
Но самое главное это огромное поле для билдостраения но это не моё,нужно тестировать кучу предметов да собирать сбалансированный отряд.

El destino os lanza a una tierra hostil, donde las rocas escupen fuego, los esqueletos tienen más movilidad laboral que tú, y los objetos mágicos vienen sin instrucciones pero con efectos secundarios. Cada uno que consigues es un regalo de los dioses o una maldición con lacito.
Ellos no saben por qué están aquí. Tú tampoco. Pero el universo les ha encomendado una misión, morir gloriosamente mientras miras desde arriba. Y tú, en tu trono de incertidumbre, solo puedes observar cómo tus campeones se zurran solos, sin guía, sin piedad y a veces sin sentido.
Prepárate para entrar en un reino donde los enemigos son más feos que tu historial en el navegador, las reliquias tienen nombres que suenan a enfermedad medieval, y cada combate puede terminar en victoria, tragedia, o ambas a la vez.
Porque puedes montar una [i]build[/i] perfecta, una sinfonía de habilidades combinadas y que de repente el Bárbaro decida darse cabezazos contra un muro mientras tus otros dos héroes se pelean por ver quién se muere más rápido. El Clérigo se cura a sí mismo mientras el Mago sangra. El Piromante lanza bolas de fuego en línea recta aunque los enemigos estén detrás. Y el Ronin ataca con tanta pasión que se rompe a sí mismo en el proceso.
El arte es pixelado, retro, adorable y luego te explota una puta bola de fuego en la cara. Es precioso, con [i]vibes[/i] de "lo hizo un tío en su sótano con más talento que cordura". Y los efectos visuales son puro “¡BOOM!” y “¿QUÉ HA PASADO AQUÍ?”.
Es un juego donde no controlas nada, pero sientes que todo es culpa tuya. Y aun así, sigues. Porque el caos es adictivo, es ridículo, es injusto y es increíblemente divertido.

It's a solid and unique game. A pixelated auto-battler, the mechanics are reminiscent of Ogre Battle, albeit a little shallower. Some classes are op compared to others, and if you don't get the most prudent path, you will likely find yourself frustrated and dead at the final fight. Still, replay value is high.

Si te gustan los juegos indie, este título es una gran opción. Ofrece horas de diversión con mecánicas bien diseñadas, permitiendo crear sinergias entre personajes y objetos. Su dificultad progresiva y el sistema de desbloqueo añaden rejugabilidad, aunque pueden frustrar a algunos. Su arte puede parecer simple, pero esconde una jugabilidad profunda. No suele estar en oferta, pero quienes lo compraron no se arrepienten. Si buscas estrategia y desafío, este juego es una gran elección.

8/10. Cute casual game that's great for relaxing and watching youtube videos in the background while playing.
Gameplay is an auto-battler with the player mainly coming up with choices that will either increase or decrease their long term success. Long-term and short term planning are both necessary, and quite enjoyable.
I don't find the game particularly engaging past the point of "wait for RNG to give me the right items/events to succeed, then succeed with the RNG items I have", which sometimes doesn't really work out when you just keep getting low level or irrelevant gear for your party.
Still, it's fun. Easily Worth the price of admission

An interesting combination of Slay the Spire and AutoChess/TFT. Due to minimal pixel graphics it gives me a little Path of Achra vibes. I give me some fun, but there is not so much content to be honest. For free, give it a spin, but for more than a few bucks I would suggest to recosider

Started with a Paladin, Frostmancer, and Cleric.
Then added in the big dude with the mace.
The items are very busted but fun!
While i have a cleric for healing, my Paladin's items and abilities shield everyone enough that he's not even necessary except during some boss fights.

Pretty fun for an auto-battler, hard when you first start, but once you learn how to create synergies between characters the builds become pretty fun. If you want an expert tip just use Frostmancer with Avalanche lol
Just get this game! Very unique in terms of gameplay, mechanics and content. LOTS of fun. Also has difficulty progression for those who love a BRUTAL challenge like me. Astronarch 2 PLEASE!
Feels like it got released too early. The balance is all-over the place. And although it sounds dumb, it has an overload of reading/information while most of it isn't actually all that interesting or relevant. Honestly wouldn't recommend for people who actually enjoy the autobattler genre, let alone those who don't
Great game, I found it interesting and a bit addictive.
Cannot recommend it enough. Got this game in a mystery bundle, no clue what it was, and wouldn't have expected to sink so much time into it, but it's [i] that [/i] good - so good in fact that I went out of my way to get all the achievements, which I don't normally do.
Really solid auto-battler roguelike, ton of team comp/item possibilities and synergies to uncover. The joy is in learning the game and what heroes can do, what works best for and between them - you can actually beat pretty much every corruption and most of the challenges with the same team, depending on if you get good items, which might seem like a depth issue at first, but there's still a lot of strategy and improvising you have to make along the way, which feels VERY rewarding. Will absolutely be keeping an eye out for Dale's future games.
All the way back in 2019, Dota Auto Chess started a massive trend in the auto-battler genre. Valve, Riot Games, Blizzard, etc. all capitalised on the craze with their own entries. This outburst of popularity also trickled down into the indie scene, games like Astronarch were one of the many that made an attempt to ride the wave.
In my opinion, auto-battlers have become another genre-go-to for indie games. I can't even count how many rogue-like or deck-building or turn-based or pixel art indie games I've played over the years. Often, I can barely differentiate between one game or another. One might think that Astronarch would be another of those brief experiences that become muddled in memory.
Yet, I've developed a certain fondness for it.
The art is nothing spectacular. Simple, almost bare, pixel art that looks like it was sketched together in Windows Paint. However, there's a surprising amount of diversity in both playable classes and combat-able enemies. A real effort has been made to flesh out the visual experience and ensure overall thematic consistency.
The item pool is also meaningfully diverse too. Sure, there's plenty of items that just give the typical boring stat boost. However, there's just as many that offer build-defining effects as well, which plays nicely with the large amount of unique class abilities that you can utilise.
I don't necessarily believe that Astronarch will give you a 100+ hours of gameplay. In fact, I was able to fully complete the game in 40 hours or so. But I think that for a one-man indie game, it does the fundamentals well. There's just enough build variety that the 20+ runs to endgame difficulty isn't that much of a slog and the auto-battles are quick to resolve so you never feel like you're spending too much time waiting (as opposed to playing).
All in all, it's time well spent.
Good game good. Can't remember if I've written a review for it. Looking forward to Dale's next game Primarch.

9/10 - Astronarch 2 When???
This game was a decent RPG auto battler with simple mechanics where of course, you build your own team composition. I like how the game emphasizes the relevancy of classes and their late game capabilities. We could build whatever purpose we want with them as long as you know what to do. A tank could be DPS character, a mage could be a tank, so on and so forth.
The game is also not one of those easy done, go next. Paying attention to the enemies' powers and passives will be also crucial to winning the game. The ascension / corruption feature may be difficult but challenging enough to make me finish the game to 100% achievement.
It is an underrated RPG game. I hope there would be sequel like how the risk of rain done to expand and make it more immersive.

A surprisingly engaging game that spent far too long shelved in my library. It's faithful to its description as a never before seen roguelike auto-battler, and left me wanting more from the developer.
The combination of genres makes Astronarch a more casual game, where building your heroes and making wise decisions is critical to winning. With its large cast of characters to pick from, there is a wide variety of strategies and synergies to experiment with, although they inevitably bog down to the roles of the Damager, Healer and Tank, simplifying them to their roots.
Once you beat the game, you may face a greater challenge by embarking through Corruption, a difficulty option that grants experience to your heroes (largely for cosmetic purposes) and unlocks new items for future runs. While it gave fresh air to the gameplay-loop, I felt it took its time to grow difficult enough to be a challenge.
Great auto-battler with many interesting and relatively balanced builds. Would be a 9 for me if there were twice as many heroes.

The game is really fun. Played a lot in early access. I just wish the heroes could evolve visually somehow. I've always liked how you can combine duplicate heroes into a better version of them in auto chess.

Вообще прикольная игра, напоминает соул кнайт количеством персонажей.В игре их больше 15.У каждого разные способности и механики , которые между собой можно комбинировать.А еще тут есть большое количество игровых предметов.В этой игре все таки надо подумать,да геймплей не многим зайдет,но игра от наших отечественных разрабов так что топ.
