Story and Design

You are a Blader who goes around activating Branches (Bonfire), basically. What that entails, or where Bladers come from, is for you to find out and draw your own conclusions as you progress in the story. The game has no character creation, but you can choose from a not too limited variety of clothes, weapons, and even hairstyles (though her regular hair has an ahoge). Oh, and she talks!

It’s hard to say the game has a clear defining theme. If anything, it could be described as a sort of chimera: Sci-fi, Steampunk, Post-Apocalyptic, Fantasy...etc; you name it. I won’t say much to avoid spoilers, since entire genres can also suddenly pop out from a new plotline. Or perhaps there is, in fact, one unifying entity: Mud. Just as Gachiakuta is all about garbage, AI Limit is all about the Mud, even people’s diets consist of eating mud balls, salted or otherwise. And trust me when I say that you will have enough time to let that SINK in.

As for the artstyle and animation, I don’t think there is much to be said except that they are both pretty good, though simple, for an anime-style game. There are some cool details to the animation, for instance when you press the button that allows you to choose which ability to use, the playable character’s left arm, which is how she controls such abilities, opens up as a sort of “cocking the hammer” action. One could even say it’s heavily inspired by a certain Shinobi Prosthetic.

Gameplay Mechanics

Despite being a relatively small, cheap game, AI Limit possesses a reasonable diversity of gameplay mechanics that seem to be a hybrid between Sekiro and Bloodborne, being more inclined towards the latter while also being relatively more complex in a few aspects. Despite the “level up” system being the usual point-to-stat allocation between 5 basic attributes, one’s playstyle is defined mainly by the systems I will describe below. AI Limit has no huge innovations and is certainly not the kind of game that defines or changes a genre, but it does very well within its own scope. Gameplay wise, I think its greatest weakness is that it’s far too easy, with a few rare exceptions (2 o 3 bossfights). Disclaimer: I will talk briefly about the main mechanics, but not all of them.

Sync Rate

The Sync Rate is the mechanic upon which all other mechanics converge. It is the epicenter of AI Limit’s gameplay, exclusive to Bladers, and the bread and butter of players. Attacking enemies increases your sync rate (values being directly proportional to your conversion), while getting hit reduces it (values being inversely proportional to your stability). Weapon abilities, spells, and frame abilities; all use up some of your sync rate, while fatal strikes (riposte) and some consumables restore it. If it gets totally depleted, the Blader, your character or otherwise, gets in a weakened state, much more vulnerable to damage and practically unable to take action for a few seconds. I would say it’s even more important than Sekiro’s Poise Meter, except for the consequence of having it completely filled.

Nucleus

The Nucleus is the mechanic in which the player defines the risk/reward of how the game’s currency (crystals) is handled. It determines 3 attributes: Retention Rate % (how many crystals are retained upon death), Absorption Rate (how many crystals are received upon defeating an enemy), and Energy Absorption (how much sync rate is gained upon defeating an enemy). The player can equip nuclei that are balanced, more risky or less risky. A simple but nonetheless good mechanic.

Seals

Now we get to the most relevant part of the player’s build. Seals do not provide any kind of new move set or ability, but instead they influence quite significantly how most stats are affected. They can also provide entirely new stats, depending on the seal. The Main Seal is what does most of the stat tinkering, while the other seals, that go with the main one, provide far less significant attributes. Additionally, seals can be equipped and switched in the Branch.

Frame Abilities

Instead of going with the usual block/parry system, often times with its animation relying on the weapon or shield equipped, AI Limit contrived such systems are abilities that cost sync rate. You have to switch between 4 “abilities”, each providing a unique resource for battle and one’s playstyle.

In short...

Is there anything special about AI Limit? Probably not, but I do consider it the best “anime soulslike” I’ve played. I think it’s better than Code Vein, the most famous and hyped series today, and it is definitely far less cringe. No power of friendship and corny lines, but a world that feels gruesome enough, while still being kinda cute.

TL;DR: AI Limit is very good, but not great. Fun, but on the easier side. Should you buy it? Probably. The formula remains unchanged: kill things, light up things, die in stupid ways...

It's a refined action RPG Souls game, cuts the fat, introduces variety not just tougher enemies. Feels very homage to Dark Souls 3 in many ways but also takes inspiration from Jedi Survivor. The lore is more interesting than the actual story and while it's got a little jank, it's in places you don't care about anyway. Solid itch recommendation!

Absolutle sinema.
Классный соулслайк, в меру сложный(на некоторых боссах даже через чур), в меру душный, и все равно классный.
Разочаровала система при который нельзя физически закрыть все достижения за одно прохождение, и пришлось перепроходить игру еше 3 раза для всех концовок и сбора оружий.

"This is my second soul-like game (Code Vein being my first and my, this game feels like an upgrade), and I am floored by the way how this game is designed. Every enemies you encounter teaches you how the boss you're about to face, how every places area have its own mechanic and effects. The sastifaction when you beat a boss, the feeling when you hit a perfect parry (I am so greatful you get this extremely early into the game).

The story while flawed, still managed to keep me interested in it and its characters. I do wish the story would have a better ending, and I might even revisit this game when DLCs dropped."

有类似黑魂的盾和血源的枪反，感觉上整体更接近血源但是回避性能被砍了很多。中期虽然能学会类似猎犬步伐的技能但是因为蓝条总是不够的关系用的不多。后期和拿到对应符文会好用一点。主角性能比较一般，虽然会的东西蛮多但是感觉就像穿了重甲的黑魂角色一样迟钝。偏偏防御用了血源的，玩起来就会觉得主角非常脆。地图可以探索的地方很多但是藏的太好。。。不看攻略很难找。主角难得可以说话了，可以更有个性一些。不能捏脸差评。这个价格可以说物超所值，能感觉到对魂系游戏的爱，可惜大概是预算问题怪的种类不够多，设计上也不够克苏鲁。毕竟不是恐怖游戏。另外跳跳乐真的非常非常非常恶心，可以请你们这辈子别搞这种东西了吗。

It starts really badly due to the design of the early levels and a lack of difficulty; it feels like a rip-off of Code Vein. Midway through, it gets much better, it finds its unique style and the story ramps up.
Although the game is not hard at all, you can essentially tank everything with your face because of the lack of a stamina bar and having 3-4 healing options besides the "flask".
Sometimes performance dipped, even with my specs. The graphics settings lack options, to be honest, and if you have worse hardware, it might be difficult to run.
I would say it’s a 7/10 overall; the later fights are actually pretty epic. If you like this genre, don't expect to spend 100 tries on a boss, it's more like two max, but it's still worth playing due to how polished it is.

The game is an absolute masterpiece. Voice acting (in Chinese) is very immersive and lip-synced; the art style is amazing; the game world is very interesting and fun to explore; and combat is somewhat challenging, smooth, and well-animated. The story is exciting and makes you want to seek all the clues and information. There is a lot of gear to choose from to better suit your playstyle. This game definitely deserves more recognition; it is truly a hidden gem. Also, protect Shirley at all costs! (the young girl who travels with the pilgrims; FYI, it is a questline, so make sure to look it up on Google to achieve the TRUE ENDING)

Compelled to review this after finishing.

My understanding is that this is the first game of the developers, which if true, I gotta say Sense Games did a really admirable job all things considered.

As it should go without saying, This is a Souls like through and through. That means reaction based boss fights, tending to branches (bonfires), varied weapon types and a world in near complete ruin. Anyone who is considering this game because you want more souls-like action, this game is 100% a safe recommend and you can stop reading now (unless you don't like the anime aesthetic, but if that's the case, why are you looking at this game?), it proudly wears its influencer on its sleeves and tries to do its own thing which I'll touch on now.

I'd say that AI Limit's primary feature is its Sync Bar. In place of a traditional stamina bar, AI Limit opts for a gauge that you fill up by attacking. The more you attack, the higher the Sync Bar fills, the more it's filled, the more damage you do. Reach a certain threshold of Sync, you can spend some gauge to perform a unique attack with your chosen weapon, similiar to say weapons arts from Dark Souls 3 or Ashes of War from Elden Ring.

It reminds me of Bloodborne in that sense where in that game player aggression is heavily rewarded and defensive gameplay is highly discouraged, keep up your offensive, keep up your advantage, but never forget to respect your opponents attacks, especially in boss fights.

The other main feature is the ability to switch between 1 of 4 unique skills on the fly, I won't spoil them but I will say that one of these is AI Limit's parry, Counter Field.
Devs, I don't know if you're ever gonna read this, but you nailed the sound design and impact on that thing, it was satisfying to do every single time, super fun...If maybe a tad overpowered.

If you're wondering about the customisability of our protagonist Arrisa, you're limited to a headpiece and an armour slot, all providing stats of course and you'll find most armour sets in stores across the world. There are alternative hairstyles in the game, but these actually take up your headpiece slot, so your can't wear a Blader Visor without having to give up your red braided hair. I believe the solution to this would've been to add a hairstylist NPC to the game somewhere and the player could explore and find like Old World magazines or something like that to give to this theoretical hairstylist, if say the devs wanted hairstyle unlocks to follow some sort of progression.

To quickly touch on the world itself as well, I got some major Nier vibes from it and wouldn't be surprised if it was a source of inspiration for the developers, a ruined world covered in dust and sand with a stubborn metropolis refusing to succumb to the ravages of time with only a handful of characters to chat to, my favourite being Delpha who is a soil researcher who asks you to bring samples back so he can maybe try and find a way for life to somehow carry on despite...well, everything.

Lastly I'll touch on difficulty. I gotta be honest I find it hard to judge the difficulty of this game because, well I've played the vast majority of FROM SOFTWARE's catalogue, including their Armored Core games as well, so I got some serious experience in this sort of stuff, I boss that I found easy may be more difficult for you and vice versa.

I do believe the game is definitely more approachable than others of its kind, I'd say there's only one or maybe two bosses in the game that even comes close to Elden Ring's notoriously brutal late game gauntlet, the vast majority though are nothing that you, your wits and a little elbow grease can't take down.

Could AI Limit be a good entry into this genre for anybody curious? Yeah I think so, It's a really solid game and I enjoyed my time with it, enough for me to type all this up anyway even though I wanted to try stop doing big reviews, but it left an impression on me.

So yeah, nice work devs. For your first game, it's a really good effort, and in my opinion worth the money for the experience.

Rather pleasantly surprised with this game. Felt more like playing dark souls 1 but less janky and more methodical. There is no soul recovery and the mechanic for soul preservation encourages to spend than hoard. My only little bit of spoiler advice is for the good/true endings is to get 30 into life to also avoid get two shotted. There is free respec and also weapon requirements aren't that high so feel free to experiment and farm.

Early game is harsh but fair and as usual eventually by mid game opportunities to make more builds coalesce. There is little back tracking and to get the endings one can easily get the good and true ending by exploring.

The level design to explore isn't obnoxious so looping or feeling like it never ends isn't a problem except the final area but even then they game doesn't really try to hide the paths for it.

Quests are straight forward and interlink with the main story and others, just make sure to always check a certain soil dude towards the end. The big plus is that there is no fail states besides keeping npc's alive but they are rather tanky.

Performance is good I never lost any frames at 4k native.

作为一款国产游戏非常的优秀，没有特别明显的bug且真的做出来了
然而不符合宣传声称的适合新玩家和手残党游玩
人物的数值可以称得上是残疾人，弹反起手慢的像均衡武器要算提前量，只有出黄光进处决有无敌帧，大部分时间不存在霸体，动作起手可以被随便打断，吃到怪物一击硬直巨长足够被怪物打完一套连招，击倒起身前先躺两秒，给足怪物输出窗口，跳跃键操作奇怪像是膝盖被扣掉，对空手段基本等于没有，处理带Z轴的怪非常吃力，不存在对群能力，会被无限连到死起不了身，远程攻击基本挡不住也躲不掉，弹反手感奇怪，站怪物脸上能弹不到，弹反窗口太短，弹中了也没有霸体可以硬被打断，比不过毁灭战士的盾牌也就算了，连一坨答辩的星际战士2都比不过，boss跟疯狗一样到处乱跑容易丢锁定，大招范围巨大躲闪/弹反空间太小，怪物动作逻辑很难预测且仇恨有问题，在脸上走看不见和两三个一块锁你间反复横跳，npc互动没有连贯的体验需要中途手动按容易丢剧情，
总而言之，这是一款适合有丰富经验的牢玩家游玩的轻松游戏，对于新手玩家而言建议快点退款买 [毁灭战士—黑暗纪元]，体验纯正的快乐

如果你喜欢魂，这款游戏一定能让你爽到，这款游戏属于是钱全都花在了刀刃上，地图设计和战斗手感可以说是非常精彩，对于传统魂类可以说是取其精华去其糟粕，减少了很多无意义受苦，直接删除了精力条，喜欢探图的朋友在这款游戏中一定会爽到，地图设计太精彩了，不过一些boss确实是不够精彩，感觉还没怎么打就没了。

雖說有玩噬血代碼1，但本身對魂系沒興趣，類魂算可以接受，主要是銀河戰士惡魔城玩家，我覺得本作是比空洞騎士易的

缺點

操作上問題比較大

首先搖桿的跳躍操作很奇怪，正常來說要是ABXY的其中一顆，但目前是L3，而跳躍又必須跟移動方向一起按，但用力按下L3的瞬間又很易會影響方向，這就是導致很多人會覺得很易墜樓的原因

再來跑步（長按B）跟閃避（B）都綁定在B也很怪，一般我會覺得跑步不能跟負責換視角的R3搖桿起衝突，但目前是一邊按住B一邊要操作R3很困難，手指會擺放得很奇怪，閃避和跑步鍵應該要能分開按鍵設置，並要有兩種模式可以選擇，開關或是觸發，即可以有點一下就開始跑直到人物停下，或是一直按住才會跑（目前只有這種設定）兩種模式，才可以大大減少女主泡在毒池裡死掉的時間

武器種類之間強度不平衡，種類多但選擇少，像死靈及以上的小怪，普攻幾乎都只有大劍能打出硬直，大劍出手和後搖也都沒明顯比其他武器較慢，再來不鎖定也不調整視角時大劍範圍及距離最大最好命中，又能隔牆打人、同時能砍一群小怪，但也給別的武器一點出場空間吧

有些地圖暗到要調亮度（某井）

技能沒捷徑換真的很不方便，至少要能在兩個之間切換吧，反而框架能力很少需要在戰鬥中切換，或是乾脆設定成不能在戰鬥中切換框架，讓技能可以換？不然打到一半都要一直暫停才能設定，蠻影響流暢度的

音樂真的單調，不同地區但BGM好像一直在重複

跟NPC組隊的時間太少了，都只有打打BOSS，建議可以選擇讓NPC多陪陪單機玩家，不幫助戰鬥刷一下存在感也好，一起體驗更多故事，陪養感情，帶著某些NPC才會觸發某些劇情等等，也讓手殘玩家多一個輔助項，平衡上可以類似這樣設計：不想帶隊友的話隊友會變成一個護符讓自身增加能力值，這樣又可以給魂系玩家提升難度

中性
阿麗莎有筆記本可以寫但沒有任何主線支線任務指示，對劇情理解比較弱或會跳過劇情的人比較不利，像我拿了監察者徽記傻傻的忘了要去用，不想查攻略，但又卡在白教堂，直到上網查才知道要怎麼做

優點
劇情比想像中來得用心

雖說缺點不少但依舊是好玩，讓人感覺好玩才是一款好遊戲的基本條件

地圖很多隱藏的巧思，會在奇怪的地方放物品，然後會需要思考和嘗試要怎麼過去

求你赚钱做多点。难度简单很多了，战斗像血缘，当初打算走法师biubiubiu就用的圣仪主加精神，但是砍着砍着就砍过去了。容错率给的很高，更别说用圣树了，除了厄休拉就没有受苦的，圣子也就二阶段死了几次，当时还以为有三阶段，可惜了。体量小是小，但是感觉刚刚好，再多的话，先不谈经费，里面也没有什么大的展开了，无非就是砍原浆，再不砍点新花样就疲劳了，要做大的话，我觉得制作组要是有钱肯定能做好，把持住难度曲线，那质量，直逼本家魂外第一梯队了。一周目打完后我下意识的会像当时玩魂三和魂二一样去查漏补缺，好久没这样的感觉了，lovelovelove

If you played Dark souls, Bloodborne, Sekiro and souls like in general, AI Limit is a must play. It's a very good game, with many occasions for customization and builds. Many people will tell you that this game is easier compared to other souls, don't trust them. The difficulty is balanced, so that some bosses have sly mechanics to make you angry, while others are way too easy. Learn to parry since the very beginning and choose the Normal sword as your main blade. Explore everything and you'll be rewarded for aestethics too, the economy and side quests are very good. You can speedrun, but I suggest you to enjoy the Lore, it's very interesting for our future development.
The protagonist can appear soulless, but it will recover every memory and based on your decisions, her personality will grow. Meeting many people will be positive for her grow, going too fast would not be good. There are 3 factions and 3 finals that you can achieve. Make your choices and enjoy this game.

The PS5 controller works amazing. The game is not heavy, it's very well optimized.

最被过誉的国产游戏，被魂小鬼捧上神坛的过时臭狗屎。没有精力条的设计看似给予了玩家自由，实际上游戏内处处充满了为了平衡这一机制的烂得发瘟的设计：
1.主角没有常驻韧性，碰上小怪的疯狗连段，主角只要被打接下来你就可以放开手柄了，因为玩家毫无还手之力。
2.敌人的霸体批发，哪怕是路边一条的机器人，你都无法打断它的连段，更遑论精英怪和boss。
3.最逆天的喝药速度和弹反、闪避时机的把握，前者是必须把主角把药当成宝贝捧在手心里端详的动画看完，生命值才会恢复，期间敌人的任何动作都可以打断你的治疗（你问我为什么阿丽莎会把药当成宝，那是因为她知道这是自己最后的晚餐）；后者则是如果你在敌人还未打到你的前几帧里使用闪避或者弹反，那么恭喜你，你已经被判定为敌人的俘虏了，配合敌人的连招期间的常驻霸体以及主角空气一般的韧性，你除了把手柄摁烂之外，没有任何操作空间。
4.所有的boss战给我的感觉就是我在和不同大小的全身上下都是判定框的扫地机器人对战，动作？机制？演出？制作组大可不必费心做这些，因为只要会读指令，读位置就够了，这么做就会有喜欢捧制作组的臭脚的玩家打好评。几乎每个boss和精英怪的连招都可以违反物理定律，只要他愿意，他就会一直转到打中你为止，并且两刀带走你。（对于那些不喜欢farming的玩家，主线后期的boss的数值基本上就是两刀带走，难道我在玩刷子游戏吗？）
5.主角干什么都有无法取消的后摇，可以竞争最垃圾类魂游戏里的性能最垃圾的主角，而且会因为后摇吞掉你的指令，比如攻击和治疗的后摇里你无法闪避或弹反，但敌人可以转个360度给你一刀。

以上这些问题都源自于为了平衡没有精力限制带来的超高收益，为矫枉过正结果变成一泡大粪。我的游戏体验并没有因为无精力限制而变得爽快，反而处处掣肘，品尝遍了制作组因为这个拍脑门的决定而搞出的让人不爽的点。
这种脱胎于老游戏的如同粪坑里的蛆虫一般的恶臭设计总能被这些有着恋尸癖的制作组从电子游戏的乱坟岗里挖出来，视为至宝。此刻的他们化身为粪海狂蛆，在这锅由无数垃圾游戏炼化成腐烂浓汤里，寻找着还未被自由市场彻底溶化的尸体碎片，东拼西凑，就又做出了一具皮囊，专门掩盖见光死的自己。

麻雀虽小五脏俱全评价这个游戏很合适，尽管贫穷，无限素材复用，前期BOSS直接放到后期当小怪，地图全是复用素材，但他依旧做到了塑造诸如德尔法、米雷尔、厄休拉等等一众性格鲜明有趣的角色，并讲好了他的剧情，虽然东西少，但是该有的他也都有：很难用的弹反，盾牌，蓄力攻击，战技，法术，瞬步，太刀见切，小零食还有带火的直剑，就是没有屎块，魂游怎么能没有屎呢。BOSS也是正常的设计，抬手都看得清，快慢刀虽然多但是不难躲，还贡献了厄休拉和圣子两场优秀的BOSS战，致敬传奇人妻和投降派。地图设计小巧思不少，比肩宫崎英高不至于，但是优秀肯定是达标的，不得不说这种回到原点的感觉多少次还是爽。这游戏你是明显能感受到制作组是倾尽心血的，所有的一切都有那种用心在后面，我很喜欢雪梨，主要是我是女儿控，很感慨她们一家人的命运，在近40个小时的全成就之旅中，我很惊讶制作组的制作水平完全不像首次制作的样子，一切都显得十分成熟，素材大量重复，地图却没有丧失辨识度，不过一周目不看攻略真的会错过很多东西，很多隐藏太深了实在是个人能力很难找全，也有不少的恶意设计和难受的探图体验。最后，回顾这段旅程，我想说不虚此行，这也是我第一次认真看完幕后人员表，不过很短也就是了，我还是希望更多这样的国产作品出现，也希望更多像这样的创作者们能有更好的机遇。

普通敌人素材重复利用率过高。
地图缺少辨识度容易迷路，大段大段的相同颜色、形状、布景的区域，时间一久就视觉疲劳，大量时间浪费在重复探索上，且探索奖励数量和类型过少。还有故意刁难玩家的超长距离的高空跳跃关卡，这种被反复证明的设计上的灾难为何要出现在2025年的魂类游戏中？
隐藏区域缺少显眼提示，游戏内也没有魂游特有的玩家讯息，需要额外查找攻略，极其容易错过关键道具。
故事平庸，烂俗的阴谋论与刻意渲染的文明终结论，核心设定无法自圆其说，仅仅作为本作末世题材的附属品，在形式上呈现出叙事好像具有深度的幻觉，实则不过一堆流水账。
解锁多结局强行设计成多周目游玩才可达成，而游戏自身又缺乏重复游玩的趣味性和内容丰富性——除提供增强难度选项外游戏的多周目内容毫无变化。

Whether you are an experienced Souls-like player or not, this one is amazing!

GAMEPLAY:
No stamina bar, which allows for super aggressive gameplay! The weapon variety and the spells and weapon skills here will give you a lot of fun to have. From simple BONKS to flashy lightning tornadoes, combined with the aggressive gameplay style, the skill expression in this game is great!

"But is it worth it if I am an experienced Souls player?"
I know exactly what you are feeling buddy. After a while, your skills from one Souls-like transfer to the next, and some of them feel super boring (too easy). But this one? Absolutely recommended! I have played all FromSoft titles, plus multiple other Souls-likes like Code Vein and Mortal Shell, and would 100% recommend this game. Skill-wise you will have a lot of fun. You might not feel that at the beginning, but give it some time. Especially near the end, and some hidden bosses, they are SUPER fun to fight. Very fast, very rewarding fights.

LENGTH:
This is an AMAZING sub-40hr Souls-like package that I would recommend at whatever price it is at. Truly worth it! You could do the entire thing in sub-30hrs if you are skilled enough!

STORY:
I could actually follow the story!!! And it is super cool and quite thought provoking. The game has 3 endings, but you can get them all in a single playthrough (thank God for save backups, and for the fact that NPC side quests are difficult to miss). This game goes to places you never expected. You think you have it figured out based on other Souls-likes you've played, but nah. Give it time! It is QUITE amazing: from a character(s) perspective, from a concept perspective, AND from an environment perspective!

WORLD:
I had not felt a Souls-like this "connected" since DS1, and I loved that. If you are very curious, you can go through paths where you say "Oh I can actually go here?" And the game rewards you with skills, lore, and hidden boss fights! These hidden boss fights are some of the best in the game! So I encourage you to get creative and take the unintended paths!

OVERALL:
Elden Ring (with Seamless Co-Op) is a 10/10.
DS1 is an 8.5/10.
Code Vein is a 9/10. (I like them faster-paced, what can I say)
Mortal Shell is a 5/10 (I felt the bosses in this game were very dumb :/ )

I went into this game with tempered expectations, but what I got was one of the most satisfying and enjoyable souls-likes out there. In my opinion it's on par with Lies of P in terms of non-FromSoft games.

The combat feels like Bloodborne meets Dark Souls 3, but with a fun system of swapping between 4 modes (parry, shield, quickstep, and self-harming fury). It's fluid, polished, and most importantly very fun. Bosses were satisfying to learn, enemies are placed exceptionally well, and weapon variety goes hard.

The aesthetics of the world remind me of another favorite of mine: Bleak Faith Forsaken, but that might just be the obvious "Blame!" inspiration. It's really rewarding to explore, and the game holds way more secrets than I expected. Every time I went off the main path I was rewarded with either a weapon, an optional boss, or a whole new area.

NPC questlines are convoluted in a charming Dark Souls way, and I found them all engaging (once I realized how much I botched some of them on my first playthrough). The story itself is also surprisingly good, and I found myself getting emotionally invested in several of the character stories by the end. One got a tear out of me.

Anybody that doesn't take a chance on this game is doing themselves a disservice, especially if you can grab it on sale. To be honest though, I'd pay more than the asking price and still feel satisfied. After getting all endings and 100% completion, I'm excited for the future DLC we're getting.

[b] AI Limit [/b] game offers an Anime Themed souls-like that embraced the souls-like genre by FromSoftware Games, it offers the same souls-like formula used in Dark Souls Trilogy while also adding their own unique flavor, namely the Sync system, giving the game a familiar yet unique experience that will give players more flexibility on their playstyle, the game nailed the combat, while it is not as hard as some other souls-like games, it still offers some challange, for example the [spoiler] Hunter of Bladers [/spoiler] Boss, it is one of the most ovetuned boss fight I have encountered and I can say it is one of the most difficult boss I encountered in souls-like games. And now even the Story offers an excellent lore and setting, while it already explores themes that had been done before, it still offers an original twist that was done exceptionally well. If you don't pay attention you might get lost on what is going on but if you did the story is good.

Overall one of the best souls-like games I have ever played.

AI Limit understands the assignment. It brings to the scene not just a reverence for the games that inspired it, but a handful of fresh and elegant mechanical ideas, in addition to a well thought out, emotionally resonant, and, ironically, extremely human narrative. Its execution is hampered by an iffy translation, but the voice actors are giving everything they've got, and the underlying ideas shine through occasionally-awkward wording. I can't overstate how much I love Arrisa's english VA. It would've been easy for Arrisa to be flat and dull, but instead there's an edge of awe and curiosity to every line that won the character a place in my heart.

This is a soulslike where the process of death and rebirth even factors into the story! How often do you see non-fromsoft soulslikes bother to address that anymore?

I also want to note that its OST belts. It's understated, but wonderful, and it does an excellent job of setting tone.

My only critque of note is that it just doesn't look very good on an art design level. The setting is fatiguingly post-apocalyptic, with its most expansive zone set in a literal sewer, and though zones like Hagios Patir hint at the potential for something more exciting, it's not realized in the vast majority of the game. It also doesn't run particularly well, despite the drab visuals - my FPS noticably dipped in some places without my having a clear sense of why.

AI Limit is constrained by its budget, but priced accordingly, and meaty without wearing out its welcome. It's a rare game that I feel is exactly the right length, while still feeling a little sad once it was over. If you like soulslikes and want a compelling sci-fi narrative, or if you want to get into the genre with a game that's a touch easier than its contemporaries, AI Limit is absolutely worth the asking price.

Got it on sale ($25 US), was pleasantly surprised. Very solid combat mechanics and game loop, and just the right length to not overstay its welcome (for context, I did basically all the optional content and got the true ending, coming in at just under 20 hours, without really getting stuck for long on bosses). Only real gripe was not vibing with level aesthetics for 60% of the game (not a big "post-apocaplyse" guy), the enemy variety was decent enough and there was some pretty solid bosses. Definitely on the easier side for a souls-like but that's not really a bad thing, and there is an option to make the game harder pretty early on (might be worth looking up if you're really into difficulty). Good enough that I will definitely be picking up the DLC when it releases.

Bastante bueno se siente muy bien, funciona muy bien y tiene buena historia.

Tiene sus ligeras carencias como que:
- La banda sonora no tiene carácter, es insulsa y genérica. (Posiblemente el peor punto de todos)
- Los escenarios son muchos bastante meh, pero tiene otros cuantos bastante preciosos.
- Las voces solo están en chino o inglés, en una pelea me toco ponerlos en chino... Durísimo en inglés ahí xD

- La traducción al español se siente rara... Como que explican las cosas muy mal, o ni las explican, o directamente ni se entiende que quieren decirte. Esto pasa principalmente con objetos y tutoriales, en la historia y diálogos creo que se entiende bien.

No le voy a pedir algo perfecto, ni una obra maestra, ni recursos que no tienen a un estudio tan pequeño... De hecho me parece un juego muy bueno.

Espero con ansias su siguiente juego y creo que tiene un potencial increíble.

Solid game that is obviously on a budget, but for the most part not really to its detriment. Worth the full asking price, and an even easier recommend on a sale. If you don't mind a slightly Anime aesthetic (it's very minimal in this) and have any interest in souls/this type of action adventure game it's worth keeping an eye on. I tend to leave games open so my playtime is inflated a bit, I did a lot of combing and would say this was somewhere between 22-25 hours. Critical path would likely be under 20.

[h3]Visuals/Performance[/h3]
Visuals are fine, nothing is mindblowing but nothing is horrendously distracting save for maybe the SSR tech in some areas looking pretty smeary. Spell effects are probably the best looking thing, environment is serviceable but bland besides a few areas, same for a lot of the enemies. Cutscenes are the most obvious sign of budget in this game, they are pretty sparse and the animation work just isn't really there. But I appreciate focusing on them less and funneling the animation budget into the gameplay instead. Performance is rock solid, I have a beefy PC but I think this would easily push higher framerates on anything built in the last five years and probably still pull 60 on older hardware as well.

[h3]Gameplay[/h3]
Core gameplay is great, no stamina management makes it a lot more hack n slash than you might expect a soulslike to be though as the game progresses you will eventually need to respect some mechanics. Decent variety of weapons, can't comment on spells I did not spec into them at all in my run might do more with that later. For the L1 abilities I found everything but the parry to be pretty useless, but I could see getting good at hotswapping being fun.

Level design was a highlight, every area felt very well crafted and was fun to explore and path through. For the most part it had a good balance of giving you checkpoints and not feeling too tedious, with a couple exceptions (hi spirit depths). There is a ton of extra loot and paths you can take that are not necessary for a straight run, I think doing the side stuff is really what made the level design shine.

Bosses for the first third of the game are really easy, once you get to cleansing knight things get more interesting but it does feel a bit "good one meh one" for the majority of the game. The secret boss is by far the best one in the game and really shows the potential the combat system has, hopefully the DLC pushes more in that direction. There is one boss tied to another ending I haven't fought yet, the whole boss gauntlet at the end felt a bit weak after the high of the secret boss (excluding the penultimate one, who was pretty good).

There's a lot of other QOL systems I won't go into that made progression simple and enjoyable, like being able to effectively bank your crystals (souls) into consumables at any time through a shop.

[h3]Story[/h3]
Surprisingly this was pretty good despite my expectations for any lore/narrative in a game like this being pretty low. The ending I got wasn't super satisfying for this but in general the focus on factions and a few characters you move through the world with helped keep it interesting. Not the peak of storytelling or anything but good enough I was actually reading notes and things to piece stuff together. My big issue with this is that without it being very clear, you are easily locked out of completing a crucial questline in the endgame that will prevent you from getting the full ending (and a unique boss), when it really doesn't seem like there's any logical reason for this NPC to disappear with where the story is. A different NPC starts throwing out dialogue that makes it seem like they'll be inaccessible but they stay and this guy just leaves?

Despite having some frustrations overall solid 7.5/10 and I'll definitely be keeping an eye out on the DLC later in the month.

Difficulty: 7.5-8.5/10
Can be overrun by enemies on levels, but it's extremely doable if you sneak attack. Results may differ because I parried the whole game, I love parrying. There were some cases where I don't think parry work so I did dodge and it is good, therefore dodging also approved.

Boss Difficulty: 5-8/10 Depending on how much you play Souls/Souls-like
Most bosses were extremely fun, there were maybe only one or two from the top of my head that I was like, "there could have been more," or they have like one or two stun lock moves. No frame-traps as far as I'm concerned, so all good there. There were I think only 2 boss fights where I had to be locked in flow state.

Plot: 6-10
I tried to pay attention to the plot, but I think I only got the gist of it. Thought the idea was creative and the side quests were pretty cool. I got the normal ending, and I realized after searching the ending that I couldn't fight one boss because I locked it out by accidentally completing the game.

Game Design/Mechanics: 9.5/10
One of my biggest issues in souls-like games or souls games is that you have no time to use the cool skills you've been given, but this game does have windows of opportunity to do so. The only weapon I don't think is worth it is the one you get from the lightning girl (trying not to spoil) because of the long windup. Even then, I pulled it off by tanking some of the damage, very cool and easy trade because you do hella damage. Don't like that you have to run to jump and how easy it is to take fall damage. Did a jump heavy attack onto an enemy that fell off, took a good chunk of damage from the height of the character model x 3-4.

The hidden areas are mostly easy to find. I think there might have been one or two area I couldn't get to, but in general just look down here and there and you'll find most of it.

Tip: If you don't keybind the weapon skill use button (normally Shift + F), you might find yourself dashing backwards or doing something else instead of actually using the skill. My work around was just walking forwards every time I was about to use it. Additionally, highly recommend saving long range ability for when clearing rooms because there are sneaky enemies who interrupts the fight from afar.

Overall: 8.5/10
I love almost everything about the game, there are pros and cons but the pros outweigh the cons by far. One of my favorite thing is obviously the boss fights. There was one where I was like, "ain't no way I'm supposed to fight that" and immediately died. One of my least favorite thing is how short the game is. I don't have every achievement but I want to say I did explore maybe about 80-90% of the game and 20 hours to complete the game is pretty short. I wanted it to at least hit the 30 hour mark, but honestly that's my only real bummer complaint.

Additional Notes: This is kind of like Lies of P where it's a one-and-done but a GREAT one-and-done game. If you want, obviously go to new game plus, but I did almost everything I wanted and I'm satisfied with that. Lastly, words of encouragement, get gud fellow player.

Edit: Just found out there was another boss I missed by accidentally completing the game. If you want to fight every boss, look at the questline online as 2 or more are locked if you complete the game like me haha.

去掉了糟粕的绿条，发扬了箱庭设计的精华。许多内容，也是朝着无意恶心玩家的方向在设计，某些boss和篝火的安排我都能想象得出来隔壁FS会怎么做，但制作组最终呈现的效果令人更为满意。好评。
故事虽然讲得还算比较直接，但是叙事上的soulslike也做得不错。而且故事格调比较高雅，尤其是和隔壁FS次新力作黄金树之影两相对比之下，更是值得赞扬。弟子不必不如师，师不必贤于弟子。
环境引导这块，还可以进步一些。最后一个大箱庭的质量个人非常满意，但是周遭环境欠缺一点辨识度，仿佛在沙漠里。在柳暗花明的时刻，某些地方我要花很长时间才能确定，我又回到了哪里，原来这里就是那里，正反馈被延迟了。
主角性能很强，于是给大量敌人上了快慢刀，窃以为非人形敌人的慢刀还说得过去，人形敌人不顾痛觉，皮肉上挨着主角的爆锤也不愿意落下来他们那高高举着的双手，只为了干扰主角的弹反/闪避判断，还是有点反直觉的。当然这也不是机兵的独一份设计了，还是看看隔壁。
期待并展望DLC内容，许多游戏的DLC为了满足已经通关或者N周目老油条玩家的挑战欲，往往会把敌人与环境往赛博排泄物的方向去设计。如何平衡DLC的新内容同好设计之间，也是期待的。
十分希望能加上与空洞骑士神居、只狼心中战场，类似的板块。玩家想挑战boss，又不想不停存读档，或者下周目见，这个功能真的十分重要。

A lot of good things was said about this game but what personally hooked me from the moment I started playing is the music - atmospheric industrial ambient. Not a lot of games can make music right but this one definitely hits the spot at least for me. Locations are beautiful and memorable as well, especially roofs and church. Enemies don't have delayed attacks which makes reading enemies rewarding. If you are good at parries - this is your heaven because they are OP in this game. But us dodge-roll spamers are good too, especially considering there is no stamina. Although because of these extremely strong defense options, geting hit not only damages you, but also reduces your sync rate which should be kept high for extra damage and periodic magic/weapon art. So always remember momentum is the key in this game.

Some quests are missable, so make sure to finish them all off before fighting [spoiler]loskid[/spoiler]. I unfortunately didn't but I was planing to do ng+ run after anyway. Overall it's 9/10 game imho. Really hyped for dlc.

I also have WAY more than 18 houirs but i played a LOT on my steamdeck offline. I just beat the game. If you enjoy Soulslike games then dont skip this one!

It has Bloodborne dodge and parry timings. That alone was enough to draw me in, but the game also has shades of Code Vein and Nier. Love the combat and weapons. I enjoyed the setting and environments. I found the story a bit hard to follow, but that could just be me not paying enough attention.

One main criticism: the lack of a stamina bar trivializes some parts of the game. It lets you stunlock certain enemies by spamming attacks and dodge in a circle around some bosses causing their attacks to whiff by a large margin.

Overall, though, great game and I'd be interested in a sequel.

Recommend to manually backup save files because it's really easy to be locked out of sidequests, items & upgrades by accident. Takes 2 playthroughs to clear all achievements (3 without backup).

Please note that I haven't beaten AI Limit yet but have experienced enough of the content to give a general recommendation... At least I feel like I have lol

AI Limit is an easier Souls-like, but one that feels very Dark Souls as compared to Elden Ring.

There are some touches here and there that combine them and separate itself from it's ancestors while also borrowing the best parts of them.

IE from Elden Ring it borrows weapons having unique skills that use specific points from a 'mana-like' meter, however this meter honestly feels taken from Monster Hunter vs any other Souls like - it maxes at 100% however it is divided into color portions that increase or decrease your damage if you are in specific regions (the monster hunter aspect of weapon sharpness essentially), however your skills will take 10% or 12% or 30% etc and the only way to build it up is by attacking. Get below a benchmark though and it will slowly charge up.

Additionally the game's equivalent of Parry and Blocking use the meter and if you spam (very possible) it can deplete quickly, preventing you from doing it anymore. To counter balance this, you have unlimited stamina, so spam dodge and run as much as you want - at least one of the bosses i've found has a good inclination to chase and catch you - but to also counter how easy it can be to just run, there doesn't appear to be any poise, so if you get hit and staggered, you can get hit more very easily.

All in all, i've been enjoying the game, ignoring how much i really REALLY hate how grotesque the Necros look

9/10 - Wish it was on Switch 2

Jogo incrível. É um soulslike sem barra de stamina, que deixa o jogo ainda mais dinâmico que Bloodborne (que já é bem rápido) e tem até aquele dash como esquiva se a mira estiver travada. O jogo tem uma mecânica de "sincronia": quanto mais você bater e menos tomar dano, sua sincronia aumenta e seu dano também. Habilidades de arma e "magias" custam essa sincronia (como se fosse mana) e tem alguns chefes que também contam com essa barra, deixando a luta mais intensa.

Os cenários são simples, mas é algo de se esperar de um universo meio pós-apocalíptico em que a humanidade tá tentando sobreviver com pouco (até usando lama como alimento) e tem alguns mapas que o design brilha. A história é contada naquele estilão que Dark Souls adora fazer: um monte de item espalhado pelo jogo contando de pouco em pouco, mas os NPCs também ajudam nesse caso e são bem carismáticos. A protagonista mesmo é uma fofinha que usa a técnica "Solid Snake" de conversa pra tirar mais informações dos outros.

O design dos inimigos é interessante mas pouco variado. O posicionamento deles também é questionável. Tem alguns casos de emboscada à lá Dark Souls 2 que é bem frustrante. Mas não me lembro de nenhum inimigo específico que me fez sentir tanta raiva como um arrombado específico que é um triângulo com braços e um rosto. Os chefes são muito bons, mas a grande maioria do início é usada como inimigos normais depois, o que pode ser bom ou ruim dependendo do jogador (eu acho ok, mas fica meio chato ver o mesmo inimigo pela nona vez lá pro final). Aliás, o parry é overpowered pra cacete; é uma ideia de challenge-run não usar esse troço.

Mas a pior falha que eu encontrei tem a ver com o fato de que eu joguei parte desse jogo no Linux. No SteamDeck ele roda, mal, mas roda (não passa de 40fps, não importa as configs). Não acho que o SteamDeck teria problema de rodar um joguinho feito em Unity que não parece mais pesado que um jogo de PS3. Mas a pior parte é que no meu desktop, com sistema operacional Bazzite, tem algumas áreas que simplesmente o jogo não carrega. Trava numa tela preta eterna. Isso já acontece na terceira zona do jogo, é muito estranho e eu não consigo testar isso pra arranjar um jeito de resolver. Essa falha dá uma desanimada legal de explorar o jogo, se a chance de você entrar num metrô/portal e dar de cara com uma tela preta é 50%.

Felizmente, as últimas áreas do jogo eu consegui jogar no PC. Acho que se eu tivesse que jogar os chefes finais no Deck eu ia enlouquecer. Boas lutas, mas eu só consigo imaginar a queda de frames que acontece.

От Ai limit веет Dark souls 1, в самом лучшем смысле!
+ Из плюсов могу отметить. Интересный лор. Запутанные локации, которые интересно исследовать. Множество секретов. Отличная механика парирования, которой комфортно пользоваться, в отличии от серии DS
- Минусы игры : ооочень много бэкдрекинга. Много не запоминающихся боссов. Локации хоть и интересно исследовать, но выглядят они все скучно и пусто. Очень много мест где можно свалится, жопа горела хлеще, чем от боссов.

В итоге пройдя игру осталась какая то недосказанность, но это скорее всего потому, что я где то пропустил секретики, хотя старался пылесосить все . Но точно знаю, что я пропустил босса Урсулу.
А так же не понял, кого искал Камень и что в итоге с ним стало. Последний раз я его видел подвешенного, после чего освободил, он мне помог победить босса и больше не встречался.
Где найти семя для ботаника?
Хочется почитать какие-нибудь статьи с лором, но мне такие пока не попадались.

Я в полном восторге от игры. прошел ее за 20 часов, это совсем не долго, но на фоне современных игр с открытым миром и миллионом мусора, это оптимальное время прохождения.
Я получил удовольствие и не успел устать от игры

开高难度打通了2周目，补了所有一周目没做的任务和全成就的收集，总用时27.9h
在数值压力之下，一些凑数的boss变得比较粪，不凑数的boss就开始秒人，体验非常依托，建议高难度模式适当降低伤害但是增加血量，亦或者在取消马拉松boss的前提下让滑步闪避需要消耗1%-2%同步率来平衡，再不济可以给个惜别眼泪。

希望像匹诺曹一样出一个boss再战模式，跑周目是确实没兴趣了。

优点：
1：对于魂p来说是不错的代餐，开局魂3味道拉满了
2：战斗系统有新意，不过完全取消体力条感觉并不是很合理的样子
缺点：
1：bug很多，有npc在地图上显示但是莫名其妙消失的情况，各种任务线感觉非常容易断掉，剧情也莫名其妙的，这点扣大分 -1.5 （PS：感觉bug大多是跟圣子完成度有关，lz在一周目结束后尝试开圣树庭院，结果开不开门并且法术老师直接卡没了。）
2：弹反手感很迷，作为一个还算擅长弹反的人感觉在这里弹起来没什么意思，并且bgm差点意思==，-1分
3：太多boss是用来凑数的了，无脑切腹绕后就能干翻一大票boss，-0.5分
4：纯个人喜好，不太喜欢二次元画风zzzz

希望出dlc能把各种bug修好

This review is mostly opinion based.

AI LIMIT is a truly fun experience. I recommend it strongly to those who likes challenging games.

I don’t really like to call games “souls like”, instead I just say they are “inspired by dark souls” as every game should be unique in their own way. From my personal experience, I see that AI LIMIT has draw strong inspiration in combat and gameplay from Bloodborne, with the fast paced challenging action combat. AI LIMIT also includes its own unique weapons and combat mechanics that I really much liked, like the Sync rate meter. I will not go in detail on what the sync rate meter is as it is a unique mechanic that should be experienced through playing the game than to describe it in flavourless text.

The level design drawn heavy inspiration from the earlier Dark Souls series and Bloodborne, as they are (mostly) linear, but not in a bad way as the creative developers made the levels fun and worth exploring.

Despite the game not being open world, AI LIMIT still made explorations rewarding. Exploration rewards the player with better weapons, upgrading materials, secret boss fights, secret NPC interactions and quest, and a variety of outfits.

The lore and the story aren’t directly told to the player through cutscenes, so the players have to piece together the lore and story through reading documents, dialogue, and NPC dialogues. It is a great way in storytelling, however it may not be for everyone (though I really like it) so just keep in mind if you never played games with these type of story telling.

This game is a more combat challenging game, in which basic enemies can stomp you if you let your guard down. Bosses may take multiple tries to overcome as you need to get use to their attack patterns. The combat encounters are fair and balanced, so with a bit more practice should do the trick if you get stuck.

Most modern games suffer a similar optimization problem, and so does this game. But this problem isn’t for everyone and this is more of my own opinion and personal views, as the game is still very much playable and enjoyable. The optimization issue for me was just more of a side note, as I don’t really care much about it, but some people do so I’m still writing it here in my review. Credits where credits are due though, AI LIMIT is only around 16 gigabytes in size. Despite the slightly poor optimization, the game is still very enjoyable and I still 100% recommend it.

This game features 3D anime art style. I very much like this game’s environment building, from the sewers to the Hagios Patir. AI LIMIT is an artistic masterpiece in my opinion.

Overall, I strongly recommend this game to anyone who are up for a challenge. I don’t know what IGN is on about giving this a 5/10, because I personally really enjoyed this game. I feel that this game is more of the underrated games that I played, and it deserves a little more appreciation.

First and foremost this is a great souls game. The story and certain npc are well designed and make you care about what happens to them. It gives a unique world that while small in comparison to say dark souls 3, is interesting blending both an apocalyptic setting and AI scifi. The boss fights are challenging and have a good flow making it a great first souls experience for newcomers and veterans alike. Now for the cons. Spell and weapon variety isn't very large (still enough though) and could use some more to give a greater range of playstyles. The npc quest while some are good are mostly just interact with them, exhaust their dialogue, and don't let them die in a fight. Luckily the real cracks didn't show up until NG+. Firstly, the leveling at higher levels (beyond 30 pts in stat) doesn't really help and even at lv.120 I was only dong 180 dmg to a boss with a maxed out katana. Then there is the fact that it doesn't seem like there are I-frames and you will get taken out by multiple enemies rushing you or getting locked into an enemy attack chain (and your character takes too much time to get up after knockdown). Finally, it seems as though the game may have some difficulty with larger enemies. I noticed that large hunters (an enemy type) had a problem interacting with your smaller character. Specifically I would use a blade counter, it would trigger the animation that I had countered the attack and then fail to trigger the counter attack animation or damage. With the large 4 legged boss I would dodge a shield bash, then it would teleport me back into where the attack landed even being feet away. Also devs please put in a stow weapon animation, don't just teleport it from my hand to my back.

I am more specific about the cons due to them being specific instances and because you really should experience the pros for yourself. It is a great game, it took me 29 hours to complete and has a great price.

I went in with low expectations, missed this game because of Khazan last year.
Now that I finished it, I can say that this game is criminally underrated, it's up there with Lies of P as one of the best souls-likes. It feels like a mix of Lies of P and Code Vein (1).
The Sync Rate system is unique and refreshing, with higher sync you do more damage, lower sync you have limited abilities. Simple and VERY effective.
I 100% the game and didn't use parry, so it's also great if you are tired of "parry simulator souls-likes".
Good level design, great story, good fashion-souls, well polished and a good price ($30). 9/10.

尽管有些地方差强人意，但还是算得上一部佳作。
刚开局的时候，一些场景一看就有很熟悉的感觉（门后阴人的怪，门无法打开），都是让人会心一笑的地方，但是到了游戏中后期，地图有些大空，可能还是经费受限把。
其次就是部分让人很不爽快的地方了，很不爽的地方倒也没有很多，部分招式有着巨大的范围修正，甚至可以达到180度以及部分Boss二阶段（残血）后，会化身疯狗一样的，技能释放几乎无间隔，招式释放起来几乎无间隔，需要接三四套技能才有一些输出时间。
不过，让我挺惊喜的是借鉴了魂2的滴石。
二编，15h走完了一周目，主线流程属实太短了，不过最让我满意的还是圣子的一阶段战斗。

これまでソウルライクをやったことがなかったが、程よい難易度で楽しむことができた。
ソウルライク初心者にはかなりおすすめできるゲームです。

良かった点
・爽快なパリィ&カウンター
飛び道具も含めほとんどの攻撃をパリィすることができるため基本的にはパリィ主体で防御することになる。
近接をパリィした後に叩き込める大ダメージのカウンター攻撃が効果音も相まってかなり気持ちいい。
強敵相手に連続パリィを決めてほぼ何もさせずに倒せたときなんかはかなりの達成感と爽快感があります。
パリィ以外にもシールドや無敵付のステップがあるので、パリィが難しい攻撃があっても対策することができました。

・探索し甲斐のある入り組んだダンジョン
脇道、横道が多く、探索した先には装備品や世界観を知る一助になるテキストアイテムが落ちていたりであちこち進んでみたいと思えるつくりになっていた。
初めて探索するダンジョンではどこに何があるのか探索したり、あの場所は行けそうだけどどうすれば行けるのだろうと頭を悩ませるのが楽しかったです。

・武器固有アクションの多彩さ
片手剣、双剣、大剣、槍など様々な種類の武器があり、しかもそのそれぞれに固有の攻撃スキルが設定されているというところにこだわりを感じました。武器によって使いやすさに差はあったものの、初めて手に入れる武器がどんなことができるのかというワクワクがありました。

・リトライしやすいゲーム構造
本作では死亡した際のペナルティが経験値兼お金のクリスタルを割合で失うのみで、クリスタルはボス撃破で大量に取得できるので、道中やボスに敗北しても、また溜めればいっかくらいの気分で再挑戦できました。
ボスの手前には必ずチェックポイントがあるとか、売値と買値が同じアイテムがあるので余ったクリスタルのロストを抑えられるなど、トライ&エラーしやすかった。チェックポイントに入ると自動で回復アイテムが補充されるのもよかったです。

気になった点
・操作の複雑さ、使用するボタンが多い
PS型のゲームパッドを使用していたが、ほとんどのボタンに操作が割り振られており、慣れるのには時間がかかった。操作しやすいようにキーコンを一部変えたが、使うボタンの多さから若干不自然なボタン配置になってしまった気がします。スペルを使い分ける際に毎回メニューを開いて切り替えなければいけないのも手間だった。

・暗く見づらいステージ
地下エリアを舞台としたステージが多く、これらのステージがかなり暗いので、脇道を逃したり足を踏み外して死亡するといったケースが結構あった。

・落下、毒沼などの探索阻害要素
中盤以降は落下死するステージが非常に多い!死にはしなくても落下する高さによって大ダメージを受けるのでそのたびに回復を切らされるのが結構ストレスでした。毒沼も毒耐性の装備があるもののそんなに効果が大きくない感じで歩くのが嫌になる感じはあった。で、これらが入り組んだダンジョンと組み合わさると、あっちに行ってみたいけど落下したらどうしよう...みたいな思考になってしまいなかなか探索しづらいステージもあった。

・一部のボスがパリィをとるうまみがない
基本的にパリィをするゲーム性になっているのですが、一部のボスキャラはパリィをとっても少し隙が生まれるだけでカウンターを入れられないというのが少し不満でした。パリィをとったらカウンターで気持ちよくなれる!と学んでいたのに急にそれを取り上げられる感じがどうしても...。

良いところ、気になるところいろいろありましたが、総じてソウルライク入門におすすめのゲームと感じました。雑魚も含めて攻撃が痛く、数回パリィをミスすると容赦なく死亡するゲーム性ですが、リトライが簡単で、次はこうしたらどうだろうがすぐに試せるのがやっていて非常に楽しかったです。
３月にリリースされるDLCも楽しみです。

I have 100% Code Vein and this game is extremely similar.

This game is definitely on the easier end of souls-like games.
Parry mechanics are telegraphed well enough, some are too snappy with long wind-ups, but it is good.
Weapons and armors look great. Some offer alternative hairstyles to the protagonist. Wish she could be customized.
The story is easy to follow, the side quests are compact.

I do think caster builds are extremely weak due to the long animation/cast time.
You also can't backstab alerted enemies, you can do this in Code Vein and Dark Souls by swirling behind them.
Level designs are very reminiscent of Code Vein, personally disliked the Underground Shaft with the railings to make your way down.

Overall, the game is great. I enjoyed it.

After completion, I now wonder why AI Limit never got much traction. This game took inspiration from the souls-borne genre and is pretty good for an indie!

一周目通关来分享一下感想，最开始是因为老头环接触的魂游，正巧机兵打折便入了一个，一百多的价格当初还是有点忐忑，不知道游戏内容能否配得上价格。
现在回味整个游戏过程实事求是讲体验还是十分不错的，完全配得上这样的价格。优秀的箱庭设计带来探索欲望，创新的战斗系统，感人的支线剧情（厄休拉，德尔法，雪梨和斯通），部分较为优秀的boss战设计（点名表扬一下厄休拉，酣畅淋漓的战斗体验，不过前面需要弹反），二次元风格的角色（呆呆兽可爱捏），各式各样的服饰等等，都是可圈可点的地方。期待一波dlc，希望有新的服饰和剧情。

AI Limit — это стильный научно-фантастический экшен-RPG в жанре souls-like, разработанный китайской студией Sense Games. Игра, вышедшая весной 2025 года, быстро привлекла внимание поклонников жанра благодаря необычному сочетанию эстетики аниме, атмосферы постапокалиптического киберпанка и динамичной боевой системы.
Сеттинг и сюжет
Действие разворачивается в далеком будущем, в мире, который практически уничтожен загадочным веществом под названием «Грязь». Это вещество не только разрушило экосистему, но и превратило большую часть живых существ в кошмарных монстров. Последним оплотом человечества стал город Хейвенсуэлл, где выжившие пытаются найти путь в мифический «Элизиум».
Главная героиня — Ариса, так называемый «Клинок». Она является искусственной формой жизни, обладающей способностью восстанавливаться после смерти (классическое обоснование возрождений в соулслайках). Сюжет игры подается через исследование окружения, диалоги с немногочисленными выжившими роботами и людьми, а также через сбор фрагментов памяти, что помогает постепенно восстановить картину падения цивилизации.
Боевая система и геймплей
AI Limit во многом вдохновлялась такими играми, как Bloodborne и Code Vein, но привносит в формулу свои интересные идеи.
Главная особенность — отсутствие привычной шкалы выносливости (стамины). Это делает бои гораздо более быстрыми и агрессивными: вы можете атаковать, уклоняться и бегать без необходимости постоянно ждать восполнения полоски. Вместо этого ключевым ресурсом становится шкала синхронизации (Sync Rate). Нанося удары, Ариса накапливает энергию, которую можно тратить на мощные спецприемы и магические способности. Это заставляет игрока постоянно идти в наступление, чтобы иметь возможность использовать весь арсенал.
Система экипировки здесь довольно гибкая. Вы можете настраивать не только оружие, но и внутренние «ядра» Арисы, которые меняют характеристики и дают пассивные бонусы. Также в игре реализована интересная система «штрафов»: при смерти вы не теряете весь опыт безвозвратно, а лишь лишаетесь его определенного процента, что делает проект чуть более дружелюбным к новичкам по сравнению с проектами FromSoftware.
Визуальный стиль и мир
Графически игра выполнена в аниме-стилистике, что придает ей сходство с Code Vein. Однако дизайн локаций — от затопленных канализаций до величественных разрушенных соборов — выполнен с большим вниманием к вертикальности. Мир взаимосвязан: вы часто будете находить короткие пути (шорткаты), которые ведут к уже знакомым зонам, что дарит то самое приятное чувство первооткрывателя.
Сильные и слабые стороны
К достоинствам игры можно отнести:

Более низкий порог вхождения для тех, кто боится хардкорности жанра.

Вторичность некоторых идей (многие элементы напрямую заимствованы из других игр без серьезных изменений).

AI Limit — это крепкий проект категории «B», который не совершает революции, но предлагает качественный и увлекательный геймплей. 1회차 플레이
스토리 괜찮았음.
전투는 초보라도 하다보면 클리어 가능함.
다만 보스가 기병일 땐 매우 어려웠음.
특히 스킬 쓸 때 패링 타이밍이 뭐 같았다.
그리고 스토리 후반부에 보스 연속 3명 나오는 건 욕 먹을만하다. 물론 전부 격파해본 보스들이라 클리어에 문제 없다지만 공략 안 보고 하면 당황할 것 같다.
패링 타이밍 익힐 수 있도록 좀 더 쉽게 가이드 해주었으면 한다.
그리고 몹들을 악질적으로 배치해서 낙사유도때문에 욕 나올려고 한 적이 많다.
재미는 있고 할 만도 하지만 나 같은 초보들에겐 난이도가 높게 느껴지는 게임 이었음.

二周目開困難的厄休拉跟洛希德兩人包辦了我整個遊戲一半以上死的次數。
Boss、地圖設計用心，探索有趣，整體有宮崎英高私生子的感覺。
難度扣除上面兩個的話算是簡單，是適合想嘗試魂遊的人入門的寶寶魂遊。
