One of the best Metroidvania games i ever play! i love it!

Sadly, the steam version does sucks. it have long loading times between levels. It's not a high demand game by any sense but it buggy and not well implement for PC.

Get the switch version if you have the chance. i do recommend this game a lot but not for PC.

Fun retro style 2d adventure platformer. If you've played Wonder Boy games in the past this game is very similar.

The gameplay involves exploring the world, visting towns, figuring out which dungeon to go to, beat the dungeon, and see what opens up next. There's plenty to explore and discover yourself. There are various equipment upgrades and abilities you can learn throughout the adventure which open up new areas to explore. The world is small enough you don't get lost, but there's also no detailed map so you might forget exactly where you saw something to come back for later.

The art style is really nice. Each piece of equipment changes your appearance. The music is good at capturing the retro vibe. Enemies look interesting, the various areas you visit are detailed and you'll want to explore them all. Each enemy has a different attack or movement pattern and each area introduces some new enemy type. There are also various large monsters and bosses to take on.

Playing with a d-pad is recommended as some of the abilities need to be chained together and you'll want to make sure your inputs are being registered correctly.

The only downside of this game is a difficulty spike when you're not able to improve your equipment further but need to defeat tough enemies and a boss. I was ready to stop playing at this point but what kept me going was grinding some levels. The game doesn't communicate what leveling up does - but it increases your attack and defence.

This game is EXHAUSTING! Don't get me wrong is somehow good, but it tries to be so accurate to Monster World that the developer forgot to add modern quality of life imrpvements into it that I'll mention in:
The Good:
-Simople but effectie story
-Nice omage to 8-bit graphics
The Bad:
-The ammount of grinding to be strong enough to not do 100 slashes to kill a regular enemy is absurd.
-The chiptune is so simple, short and repetitive that becomes annoying
The Ugly:
-It has a slide when you stop walking or press attack making it super annoying
-The pushback when hit doesn't stop even if you hit a wall
-You can't cut the attack animation for a kick evade

Depois de dar final (duas vezes) e pegar todos os achievements, hora da análise.

Aggelos é um metroidvania com alma de jogo antigo. Tanto os gráficos quanto as músicas e efeitos sonoros remetem a jogos dos anos 90.
No todo, é um jogo simples mas com base sólida e gameplay razoável.
Seguem os pontos positivos e negativos:

+ Gameplay sólida e sem bugs;
+ Músicas e efeitos sonoros 8Bits bons;
+ Variedade de armas e armaduras que alteram a aparência do personagens;
+ Boa variedade de golpes e magias;
+ Exploração recompensada;
+ Quantidade razoável de monstros e boss;
+ O modo HARD é realmente difícil;

- Graficamente simples demais, poderia ser mais elaborado;
- A história é bem simples e sem grande profundidade;
- A maioria dos boss são derrotados spammando ataques igual louco;
- Os comandos de golpes de espada muitas vezes saem errado na hora da movimentação;

No todo é um bom jogo, mas poderia ser melhor. especialmente nos gráficos e nos controles dos golpes especiais.
Eu diria que é um bom titulo para crianças (no modo Normal) e para anciões saudosos (no modo hard).

I just finished the game, and I love it. Reminiscent of games like Zelda 2 and Wonder Boy, it's very fun. I understand why it's not rated higher. It tries to deliver so many styles of play that you'll find something to hate, and it won't be optional.

Pros: Doesn't overstay its welcome, pretty short to finish. Challenging boss mechanics and platforming, every choice in how you play the game matters. Overall, 8/10 overall fun.

Cons: Grinding is a bit of a slog, either for money or exp. The story is very poorly developed. The hardest platforming sections require nearly pixel perfection. The worst of these are optional, but there are still some very tough ones to get to the last boss.

It's years since I played this but I hold a good memory of it - and I just found out a sequel has been announced in August 2025!

Right from the nickname of the developer, you can see this game was made with clear love for the action-adventure episodes of the Wonderboy franchise, especially Dragon's Trap. It gives an overall and distinct feeling of a game from a powered-up SEGA Master System, with pleasant music and very clean, very colorful graphics with some beautiful sprites, as can clearly be seen right from the screenshots.

Even with the exploration element, it's not a long game but very pleasant to play while it lasts. The downward sword thrust is quite fun to use, so much it's even an element of platforming, to bounce off enemies.

I don't recall Aggelos as very difficult, except maybe some platforming challenges where you need to bounce and not touching solid ground for long stretches. At worst, you may need to spend a little time gaining experience to get stronger but it never takes long.

Hoping for Aggelos 2 to live up to this game!

The Air Temple is the most poorly designed area in the game. Even with the best armor and weapons, you are asking too much from me for that boss fight. Can't see the rest of the game because of it. The first 3 hours were fun, but beyond that, it turned into a chore, and I felt miserable continuing.

玩起来不怎么像银，倒是很类似伊苏3或者神奇小子。总体素质很高。
机体性能小儿麻痹，攻击距离极短。加上小怪设计非常弱智，攻击方式极其变态，别的游戏里应该一击死的飞行怪在这游戏里基本都要两三下，非常恶心。
最终boss卡了一上午，纯血量压制，太恶心了没打完。

Fantastic game. Very reminiscent of one of my favourite franchises as a child on the sega master system and megadrive, Wonderboy. This one in general feel very much like wonderboy in monster world. The art style, the heros stance and jump animation, even some of the enemies seem like a little nod to the game.

Playing the game itself I'm sad it does not work for a PS5 controller. It only recognises my left stick and not the D-pad or other buttons, so i've had to use the keyboard which is no biggy. I just prefer a controller lol.
Currently I have beaten the water temple and am already curious about the strange direction sequence a certain animal tells you about. I like the added touch of side quests. I liked how the heros house is also very reminiscent of wonderboy 2. The layout of the first map made me think a secret platform would appear and scroll up and down ^_^

In a nut shell? I'm already invested and have wishlisted Aggelos 2.
Should you play it? Absolutely! And I implore afterwards to try out the wonderboy games if you havent already.....just maybe not wonderboy 1.....that game was random, repetitive and the worst in the series lol

Pogo'ing off enemies feels a little bad because character's hurtbox is still active, and could definitely use a classic map.

Despite having no issues with other Steam games before, I had controller connectivity problems and couldn't resolve them. The community support forums show how many people have had this same problem and the developer hasn't fixed it in the 7 years since its release. The game is unplayable for me as a result.

I requested a refund and Steam denied it because I purchased the game more than 2 weeks ago. I didn't have an opportunity to play it until today and tried for 26 minutes to do so. What a waste. I cannot recommend it.

I've had fun with it so far. What sparked my interest in the first place was how it reminded me of one of my favourite SNES games of all time; Super Adventure Island II. It looks and play similarly, only Aggelos being much larger and tougher overall, but I feel like there's some similarities in there.

The character controls pretty well, maybe a tad tighter would've been nice but it doesn't make the platforming or combat frustrating.

It's challenging, there's a bit of backtracking for special items and spells, etc.. it's got a bit of everything. It's well done! I'm looking forward to playing the sequel.

Really good metroidvania. Bought this in 2022, fiddled a bit with settings and had 7 minutes played when i rediscovered it in my library after getting a brand new controller recently and getting back into gaming instead of fiddling with my retrogames.

Enjoyed every single part of the game pretty much, except that i had to tp out and get new water, new potion and herb on continue after death, i mean i saved at a savepoint with everything. It was just easier to quit out and load to refill.
Caveat: It makes sense to lose it all at an essence temple when you spawn at the entry instead but when you end up back at the save point its just dumb that you lose your ♥♥♥♥.

Downstab was finicky at times and seemed like yould take dmg at the same time you did dmg to the enemy. Pogoing felt slightly iffy. Other than that It felt like enemies had it easy to hit you, felt as if your hitbox was quite big, enemies did some dmg, couldnt just stand still and outlast enemies. Normal mode was not as easy as normal mode tends to be in games. It was good.

Soft recommend from me. Probably about a 6.5 out of 10. I was all about it for the first half but the second half becomes frustrating. I was face tanking bosses as the character doesn't have much options for avoiding damage. The controls are imprecise as it forces the use of the joystick without some third party method of using the d pad. I usually 100% these types of games but the lack of a real map and the frustration from the controls (has the worst pogoing and the woodpecker challenge can eat me) meant I only reached 92% and I think I'm done. Art is lovely. music is good but gets old. Story is alright. I'm not sure why more of the controller wasn't used, having three magic attacks assigned to one button is cumbersome. Had to set it compatibility mode or it would glitch out after 30 minutes. Certainly has the classic feel, including the absence of most modern QOL features like rebinding keys or indicators or missed upgrades. A solid c+ Metroidvania. Worth playing but plenty of games are ahead of it.

The game tries so hard to emulate Monster Boy and does a decent job but just fails in too many regards. First off, the look and sound of the game are great. There any many enemies with varied attack patterns, and the game is of decent length. The combat is solid, although hitboxes can sometimes be a bit wonky. The platforming is usually decent although the hit causing knockback is annoying and sometimes with the analog stick the game will read the wrong input for certain moves.

The main issues are the rest of the game, and they begin right off the bat with controllers legit not even working with this game. It doesn't recognize all types of controllers, FOR A PLATFORMER, and this apparently still hasn't been patched. I had to spend 15 min looking through forums and messing with steam settings just to get a partial fix, especially since you can't rebind keys as well. Next off the game provides a legit useless map. For a MV adventure game with so many different ways to go its asinine. You never are given any info where to go either and a walkthrough is a must for most of the game, with collecting a random item in 1 spot requiring you to go into a single room you saw hours earlier halfway across the map that you can now interact with. Also with so many branching paths and ways to go its just to easy to get lost. Also the game provides way too few save point/fast travel points, especially at the beginning of dungeons, forcing you to go backtrack way too much for a fight. The game isn't unfairly hard, but you basically need to collect all secret hearts and weapon upgrades just to keep up with enemies and bosses as they scale way too much. The second I would collect new weapons and armors the enemies would get harder and do just as much or more damage meaning you feel no sense of progression or power creep which is a bummer. You also unlock new weapons and armor, but its mostly just stat boosts you don't notice, as your attacks don't change that much.

You also level up but it doesn't explain what any of that does, and dying causes loss of XP meaning it will make more sense to just restart it. Also you can only hold 1 SINGLE potion for......reasons? But if you buy a smaller or bigger one it just replaces the other one. But you can also hold a single random herb which auto heals you for a bit, and you can get a small vial of sacred water later which works as a second useable small heal. Why its so random and inconsistent makes no sense, you should be able to carry multiple heals, whether different sizes, or it being an upgrade you get for larger capacity.

I played Monster Boy and the dragons trap and it was just wayyyyy better than this game, although that is a remake. The lack of direction, limited save points in usually bad spots, forced secret getting to keep up with enemies/bosses, useless map,as well as other factors hold this game back from the games that inspired it. You still could do worse. 6/10.

難易度ノーマルでクリアまでプレイしました。最初はチープな感じがしましたが結構楽しめたと思います。
敵の種類は結構多くてよかったと思います。ボス戦もある程度攻略をしないと勝てない感じでやりごたえがあったと思います。
各エリアやダンジョンもしっかり作ってあるように思いました。ギミックも程よく入っていてよかったと思います。

欲を言えばマップを細かく作ってほしかったです。大雑把な世界地図に現在位置が表示されているだけだったので、気になる場所にしるしをつけたりできるとよかったと思いました。

本当はコントローラーで遊びたかったのですが、うまく対応しなかったのでキーボードでプレイしました。場所によっては難しい操作が必要だったのでちょっと苦戦しましたがいい脳トレになったかなと思います。

細かなバグのような動作はありましたがプレイに支障が出るものはありませんでした。

This game has made me miserable, It is one of the most anti fun games I have ever played. I am playing on hard and I am fine with a challenge but enemy design in this game is only to piss you off. It is only an uphill slog. There is no joy in defeating a boss only mild relief that you may progress one step further to beating the game and never having to play it ever again. Annoying miserable game that makes me hate video games with every fiber of my being. Play on normal if you buy this.

Aggelos ist eine kleine Pixelperle, die sich wie ein verlorener Klassiker aus der 16-Bit-Ära anfühlt – nur ohne die sperrigen Gameplay-Ecken von damals. Super jeu d'action aventure, je dirais presque un metroidvania sauf que l'absence de map fait plus penser à un Wonderboy. Il n'en reste pas moins bien pour autant.
J'ai fini le jeu en 12h environ avec 19h de jeu comptabilisées, ca reste honnete.
La difficulté est bien dosée, en first run il ne me reste que 2 succès à avoir, et la jouabilité est trés bien par contre, et c'est le gros point noir, on ne peut pas jouer avec le D-Pad... pourquoi? bah mystère car après recherches il se trouve que le jeu le permettait avec une mise à jour de 2021... forcé d'utilisé joy2key du coup.

Buen metroidvania de corte clásico, similar a la serie Wonder Boy, muy adictivo y con muchas horas de juego, a nivel grafico es como una mezcla de un juego de NES y uno de Sega Genesis, cuenta con un pixel art retro bastante llamativo, completarlo te llevara entre 8H o 10H, se echa de menos mas variedad musical ya que contamos con diferentes zonas y para estos siento que se repite mucho la misma melodía. Aggelos is a very charming little metroidvania with great art and music that is at least somewhat NES accurate. The game world is compact yet complex with areas that allow for your abilities to shine as you progress, without becoming annoying to traverse or hard to remember. Many enemy designs are very fun and memorable and the story while simple is functional and enjoyable. Even when played on hard, which is at times brutally difficult, the game is mostly mechanically very well tuned, fair and beatable even if often at first it doesn't seem that way at first.

That said the game isn't perfect, the controller by default doesn't use the dpad, there's a minor bug when using a certain ability, the downward thrust's hitbox could have been more generous and the checkpoint system preserves your progress while it doesn't restore consumables meaning you'd have to forego the checkpoint and load a manual save if you'd want to attempt a boss with consumables, resulting in long runbacks in some cases. In the end, i highly recommend Aggelos, but probably just play on normal unless you're fine with retrying certain bosses for 20+ times and probably use steam input to tweak the controls.

the game shows clear inspiration from zelda 2 and castlevania , very well made !

- the pacing is just right,
- the game doesn't hold you hand too much , but will provide hints if you decide to ask .
- the game scaling difficulty will likely catch you off guard . ( the first death was at the second dungeon, but as soon as i hit 3rd one , i already got in my 10+ )
- end game is challenging but fair.
- some puzzles will test solving skills and others how well you remembered stuff from the early game.

solid recommendation and a must play !

if you're a fan of the wonder boy series, this game is a must play! i got it on a sale for about $4 and i put it off for years, but i was very pleasantly surprised with my time on this game!!
not too lengthy either, in the 6-8 hour range.

i am not sure if this game is quite as good as dragon trap (pce), but it's better than monster world (the genesis one) and that's very high praise for me

important tip for controller users: the game to this day still does not support a dpad natively. to fix this, go into the steam client game specific controller settings and switch dpad to joystick. works like a charm once you do this
pros:
- more vertical level design compared to the wonder boy games.
- fast travel!! you're gonna use this a lot
- dungeons all follow a similar format, but it works well. tackle both the left side and right side of the dungeons, while unlocking and learning how to use your new ability
- similar to the messenger, if you are lost, the seer in the castle can tell you where to go next. but there's no necessity to grind coins to pay him, he'll just tell you straight up
- controls are snappy, and early on you'll have an ability that is essentially a double jump. you also have a downward thrust abilit thats like a pogo jump, and i used this on most of the bosses. the physics are less clunky compared to the wonder boy games
- dying has minimal drawbacks. you'll lose some XP and gold, but any progress you make in the dungeon is saved
- grinding is part of the game but it's relatively minimal. you can also slightly speed up the process by [spoiler]paying 10000 coins to a merchant for 1000 XP, and this is unlimited[/spoiler]
- there are 20 heart containers, and you do not need all of them to win the game. i had 14/20 hearts and that was enough.
cons:
- most of the reviews mention the soundtrack is poor. i think it's solid, but its certainly not the high point of the game either. i think its on par with monster worlds soundtrack but not as good as dragon trap.
- unlike the wonder boy games, where you leveled up by buying new gear, you have to buy new gear on top of grinding XP to increase your character's base stats. i am not fond of this change.
- bosses are on the difficult side, and get more "spammy" and aggressive throughout the game. it's manageable if you're an experienced gamer, but for the final boss, you [spoiler]better have the secret armor/sword and secret charge orb scroll or you have zero chance of winning, even at maxxed out stats (level 20)[/spoiler]
- in order to get the [spoiler]special gear and orb scroll[/spoiler], you have to [spoiler]do a several step fetch quest that will likely require a guide. thankfully, this does not take long to do with a guide[/spoiler]
- no transformations, just some magic abilities that you can use on the bosses. the most fun ability is the [spoiler]air dash[/spoiler] but you receive it very late in the game, and it doesn't carry much of an offensive punch

Not sure how to start this review so let's just roll with it:
playing the game via joystick was awful. Never has it felt harder to use a Zelda II / Scrooge Mc Duck downwards step whilst keeping sideways momentum. However once you use JoyToKey and can use a proper D-Pad suddenly the game flows way better. However I can't just neglect that problem just because a third party solution exists. As far as I am aware there was supposed to be a fix for that many moons ago but it never arrived. So if you, current reader, want to play the game: get familiar with JoyToKey first and also wait for a sale.

Outside of that the best part was the split between the first and the third dungeon. Actual abilities start to roll in, you have multiple directions to explore and also can break a small amount of progression by playing it smart. After that it is pretty straight-forward running to dungeons and beating bosses.

Look up spots for grinding money efficiently unless you are good at games. Upgrades cost a fortune and also your liver.

Also why does the boss in Babyl Tower, the one after the fire temple, make not only actual use out of the fire ring but ALSO better use out of the rising slash + downwards stab whilst being infinitely more fun to battle? I will be honest I skipped the boss of the fire temple, got better gear, went back and then beat him. Feels to me at some point in development the bosses of both dungeons got switched around.

Did not know about level >15 + deathless archievement. No desire to play the game again.

Not much else to add. I got way greater fun out of other action / platforming games. Would honestly even recommend a good amount of metroidvanias before Aggelos.

Avec son style pixel-art soigné et son gameplay dynamique, il rend un bel hommage aux classiques du genre tout en apportant une touche de modernité. L’exploration est fluide, les combats sont prenants, et la progression du personnage est bien pensée. La bande-son, quant à elle, est un vrai régal et accompagne parfaitement l’aventure. Un jeu captivant qui plaira aussi bien aux nostalgiques qu’aux nouveaux joueurs en quête d’une expérience immersive et fun. Une excellente surprise à ne pas manquer !

Que jogo legal. Surpreendeu demais, jogabilidade à lá Wonder Boy, inimigos diversos, ambientes interessantes.

Bebe muito da fonte de Zelda também, tanto nos armamentos e armaduras, com alguns possuindo funções específicas para as Dungeons, quanto pelos corações para aumentar a vida, harpa mágica (tipo a Ocarina do Tempo), princesa em apuros, mundo das Trevas. Muito legal mesmo, recomendo demais, tanto como porta de entrada pro mundo 2D (se você não tem muito gosto por jogos desse tipo), quanto para quem está começando a jogar RPGs (embora não tenha achado o jogo exatamente "fácil", ele é intuitivo.

Trilha sonora boa e cativante, gameplay simples, jogabilidade estável, poderes que realmente são e DEVEM ser usados no game, história simples e suficiente. Aprovado!

Ta chido, a mi me dio para 10 horas de juego y es entretenido y simple, esto lo hace muy disfrutable y el progreso es constante tanto si eres bueno jugando y si no lo eres tan bueno como yo, tampoco se detiene el ritmo tan bruscamente.

A mi me gusta decir que es un juego que te enseña a jugar al mismo y su gameplay se va extendiendo para mejorar la experiencia.

O level design do jogo é completamente absurdo. Uma verdadeira obra de arte. Pra quem faz games, trabalha com isso, vai ser muito evidente o esforço e inteligência empregados nessa área. Sobre os elementos gráficos, embora muito assertivos e fieis à proposta, me causou incômodo quando necessário imprimir uma sensação de distância. Embora nada disso afete a diversão e experiência. As similaridades de inimigos e NPC's na taberna ultrapassa o limite da homenagem. Feito minhas críticas concluo dizendo que: O jogo é um deleite. Completamente viciante. Comecei pra dar uma breve olhada e conhecer o que foi feito num estúdio BR e acabei preso com a bunda na cadeira e rosto na tela sem conseguir parar de jogar. Fechei dois templos e estou enfrentando o terceiro. Puzzles perfeitos, nunca enjoam. Inimigos com comportamentos bem distintos entre si. os bosses são sempre uma dança de surpresa, suor e sangue. Dou 9,5/10. Atualizo a review depois de zerar.

作为3块史低入的这个价绝对值得一玩了。复古画面+8bit音乐。类似塞尔达2，恶魔城2和神奇小子这种fc游戏的感觉。
优点地图设计巧而精，引导性还不错，没迷过路，全收集也简单。
缺点没有内置地图，boss血量硬堆，刮痧半天。喜欢路中间放大怪，还有一堆天上飞来飞去的魔眼恶心人耗血量。

Besides a few glitches it is a great, colorful pixel art linear game, it has a nice puzzle quality to it. The boss fights are good, what you see is what you get basically. If pixelated metroidvanias with zelda 2 influences and just a hint of RPG is your type of game don't hesitate to buy it.

Aggelos is a 16-bit metroidvania powerhouse of game that is heavily inspired by the oldest entries in its genre. It's unique design mixes nostalgic level design and gameplay with legitimately complex and unique combat. The game, while very flawed, is an easy recommend for people who want to be challenged.

Overall Rating: 7.6/10

Pros:
- Top tier, nostalgic audio and visual design
- Very unique combat flow that allows for creative use of the various moves provided to you
- Exceptionally, difficult bosses that feel very rewarding to beat
- Although heavily inspired by the progenitors of the genre, it successfully carves its own spot in the genre for hardcore metroidvania fans

Cons:
- Laughably lackluster story, there is not a single story beat that one needs to pay attention to or care about.
- Does not seem very prone to casual gameplay as dying is punished extremely harshly (losing XP and, in the case of boss fights, being sent back multiple loading screens away)
- Lack of customizable settings, no audio settings whatsoever
- Music, although technically very good, is poorly mixed and spikes often
- Various bugs, none game breaking, like any indie game

ADVICE:
I completed my first run of the game on 'Hard' mode. Although I have no regrets in doing so, I will say that this game is exceptionally hard and the final boss almost beat my resolve. If you are not looking for a stressful experience, I recommend staying on Easy.

This is a hidden gem. This is Zelda 2 from NES days, and metroidvania, so a metroidzeldavania? It has cool 16 bit looking graphics that feel nostalgic, alongside good music, the ability gates were carefully thought out and there are plenty of easter eggs and cool things to do in this game. You can select the difficulty, I went with hard and it didn't feel like it in the beginning but it definitely can frustrate you so you may consider doing normal or easy. If you like metroidvanias then look no further if you are looking for something with a proven formula that may not be entirely groundbreaking however the fun factor and sense of wonder is there IMHO.

I made it to the air temple, and after a few tries, I uninstalled it. I hate not finishing a game, but I wasn't having fun anymore. I love retro platformers, I don't shy away from difficult games, but this is a weird one. It has some crazy difficulty spikes, annoying platforming sections that demand precision the controls don't provide. I liked the first 5 hours of the game, the other 6 hours just felt like a chore. If you really really like retro platformers, and find this one on a deep sale, give it a shot. Otherwise, stay away.

Aggelos is true to form for a metroidvania. It doesn't do anything particularly unique but, the high amount of polish and familiar tropes make it instantly enjoyable.

-Tight controls, great music, excellent level design makes backtracking a joy.

-The art style is easily digestible and clearly displays enemy indications.

-Story is mercifully sparse and doesn't waste time with lengthy dialogue.

-The real focus is clean movement and combat. Both mechanics are intuitive to pickup and
reward skillful players.

Power ups are satisfying, secrets feel good to find and. enemies are fun to kill. Everything you expect in a solid metroidvania is here... except a functional map.

A fun throwback Zelda-like/Metroidvania, with a lot of heart, that unfortunately gets held back by some agonizing difficulty spikes and gamepad woes.

The bosses and temples towards the end, call on you to either grind to build experience, or figure out some way to survive without tearing your hair out. Basically the balance feels off in this game. I'm at the last boss with the best armor and most of the heart containers and fighting him feels like a chore.

That, in and of itself, isn't SO much of an issue, but sometimes the controller feels like it's not responsive in the way it should be. I know that's a lame complaint, but honestly, it feels like I'm hitting the same inputs and getting different results[b] (I'm adding an edit here, because I've now read a few negative reviews and apparently I'm not alone on this).[/b] The most aggravating moment is during a platforming challenge to get a scroll, where it calls on Celeste like platforming and pogoing. Again, not so much an issue, except the gamepad seem incredibly wonky for said pogoing--making it a near impossible challenge. I ended up not completing this, because in the end, this is all just a game, but it really underlined for me:

If you're going to have me going through hurdles, then get me mad at the challenge presented--not angry at the controller itself.

Hard for me to recommend, but if you're looking for a fun platforming adventure game, then I'd say give this a shot.
