A Juggler's Tale is an incredibly short charming game with a few little puzzles and basic platforming. Definitely a nice game to play and relax with a nice aesthetic, I really like the narrator's voice although sometimes he rambles on a bit . Short and sweet would recommend if you're looking for a couple chill hours of entertainment.

Хорошее приключение на 2 часа с симпатичным визуалом, интересной и простой сюжетной историей и в меру сложными головоломками. Прокатиться на медведе и на лодке в море мне понравилось больше всего. Из недостатков - замечен вылет игры, игра работает на вонючем Unreal Engine. С оптимизаций как-то так: игра выдаёт стабильно 120 FPS на ультрах, но замечены редкие просадки до 100 при смене локаций.

Вердикт - годная видеоигра на несколько прохождений. Напоминает Limbo, Inside, Planet Of Lana, но она всё таки своеобразная - тут есть повествование сюжета в стихотворной форме, к этому быстро привыкаешь и это не напрягало. Все ачивки выбить несложно и это приятно. Рекомендую!

Giocato tutto su Steam Deck, alcuni dettagli erano un po' troppo piccoli e alcuni enigmi ci ho messo un po' di più a risolverli. Sicuramente su schermo grande diventa tutto più semplice. Comunque un bel giochino anche se dura veramente pochissimo. Mi son piaciute le ambientazioni tutte molto da sfondo rilassante. Per la prima volta gioco ad un gioco in tedesco (con sottotitoli in ita) e devo dire che non stonava anzi felice di averlo giocato così. Ma forse sarà anche che io odio l'inglese e amo il tedesco. L'inglese proprio faccio fatica ad impararlo e a farmelo piacere. Se mi capiterà l'occasione mi piacerebbe rigiocarmelo su grande schermo per potermelo godere meglio. Giocare in maniera portatile è comodo ma mi pare sempre di perdermi qualcosa ... come se non avessi nemmeno giocato o giocato per metà anche se il gioco in effetti l'ho finito. Un po' strano da dire ma è così.

Overall, A Juggler’s Tale was a really enjoyable experience for me, and there wasn’t much that stood out as a major downside.

First of all, the art style is genuinely beautiful. As you move through the different environments, you can really feel the care put into the atmosphere, and the character models fit perfectly with the world the game is trying to present.

The music is another strong point. It adapts well to each moment and does a great job supporting the emotions you feel while playing. Good sound design feels harder to come by these days, so this definitely stood out to me.

The controls are mostly fine, though there were a few moments where a bit more leniency would have helped. Interacting with some objects wasn’t always very smooth, and I occasionally had to try more than once to get it right. Still, it never became frustrating enough to ruin the experience.

The puzzles are fairly simple but well designed. I appreciated that the game doesn’t rely on annoying hints and instead lets you experiment and figure things out on your own.

However, I did run into an issue with the "Close Call" achievement. It seemed to be bugged, as I couldn’t unlock it in Act 1 or Act 2 no matter how many times I tried. I only managed to get it after finishing the game, disabling cloud synchronization, deleting my save files, and starting over. After that, it finally unlocked for me in Act 2.

Finally, the ending was quite satisfying. It wraps everything up nicely and left me feeling glad that I played through the whole experience.

Неплохое приключение на пару часиков, но точно не за полную цену. Тем более после испорченного впечатления от 4 и 5 глав.

Начинается все великолепно и логично. Интересная история, поданная необычным способом и представленная в виде приятного глазу кукольного представления. А со 2 главы вообще начинается натурально какой-то Little Nightmares на минималках и что обидно, не могу сказать что плохо сделанный. Если бы так все и оставалось до финала то было бы все супер, но к сожалению с 4 главы начинается жесткий и безостановочный буллинг со стороны рассказчика, который сильно меняет тон подачи. Лично у меня этот ход вызвал резкую перемену впечатления от игры с "Интересно, что будет дальше" на "Терплю потому что надо закончить".
Тем не менее, сразу за визуалом, в положительную сторону игру так же вытягивает геймплей. Головоломки интересны, изобретательны и в меру сложные. Признаюсь даже что закончил игру в первую очередь именно из-за головоломок и только во вторую из-за ачивок.
Обычно в обзорах всегда затрагиваю сюжет и ГГ, но тут ГГ буквально марионетка без личности, а сюжет - сумбурный рассказ, который к тому же обрывается на середине. Не скажу что в целом он мне не понравился, но разница между первой и второй половинами игры слишком радикальна.

Как передышка между большими проектами или как короткое приключение на вечер, игра показала себя просто идеально. Запустил ее ночью перед сном и сильно пожалел об этом, просто потому что когда нужно было ложиться спать, я проходил 3 главу и хотелось продолжать играть, уж очень было интересно что будет дальше.
Опять же укажу, даже в отрыве от негативного впечатления из-за 4 и 5 глав, игра не стоит своей полной цены. Мои 2 наигранных часа включают в себя одно полное прохождение и 8 прохождений 2 главы ради ачивки. Не думаю что игра с продолжительностью 1-1.5 часа стоит таких денег, но по скидке она определенно достойна как покупки, так и прохождения!

P.s.: Проходил игру полностью на Steam Deck и хоть плашка "Полная совместимость" тут оправдана и верна, но местами игра заставляет консоль "попотеть". При том абсолютно неоправданно, учитывая графику в игре. Если вы привыкли гонять игры на Деке с максимальными настройками, то можете рассчитывать что игра сожрет полную батарейку как раз за одно прохождение, а это как-то слишком много для подобной игры и полностью убивает мобильный формат консоли.

Еббі не є бойовим персонажем. Її навички складаються з: бігу, стрибків, лазіння та кидків з прицілом.

Finally played the game after buying it so long ago, working on my backlog. I wish I had gotten to this faster. I bought it after seeing the art and thinking the art was nice, and.. it was.

Overall, there isn't really much that I'd say was a detriment to this game.
- The art was quite delightful and as we went through the environments. The character models fit in amazingly with the intended design.
- The music was fitting and engaging throughout, building the proper intensity and emotional range that I was going through as I went along. Good sound design is getting harder and harder to find, so this stood out well for me.
- The narration wasn't annoying except in ONE situation where I was looking around and the narrator acted like I was running back to camp, but that was it.
- The controls were okay, I got stuck in a few parts that felt like a smidge more leeway could have been given, but it wasn't bad.
- There wasn't any annoying hints and I was able to test things to figure out the puzzles, which while simple were quite fitting.
- The ending felt quite satisfying and I'm glad we got to do all we did.

All in all, definitely recommend it... though, I WOULD wait until there is a sale. It's a fun game and the developer did great work, but the game came out 5 years ago so I'm a bit more willing to say that at this price the amount of time is a bit difficult to just tell people to grab. The game is pretty linear and straight forward, you are really on strings and rails here, and that is OK! It's fine to do that, but this game has gone on sale for as low s $2.69 USD. At that price grab it, just right away as it's worth that. Anything under, I'd say.. $8 USD and it's a decent deal, so essentially around 50% off from it's asking price.

Nice short game that’s almost entirely story-driven. There are a few puzzles and some light platforming, but that’s about the extent of the gameplay. What it sets out to do, it does well. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a relaxed, short story you can essentially play through.

Ein unglaublicher Diamant den man hier für erstaunlich wenig Geld bekommt. Mich hat es von der ersten Sekunde in den Bann gezogen, und am Ende war ich traurig das ich es durch hatte. Der Soundtrack verdient einen eigenen Preis-absolut Stimmig in jeder Szene. Einziger Wehmutstropfen- es ist relativ kurz, dafür aber Grandios gemacht. Ich hoffe sehr auf eine Fortsetzung ( auch wenn es eigentlich eine Story mit einem super Ende ist- vorsicht- Taschentuch bereit halten!! )
Ich würde dafür auch das doppelte bezahlen :)
Wer das Genre mag, wird dieses Spiel lieben.

A Juggler's Tale剧情大致就是暗黑寓言的HE，游戏音乐和美术很优秀，尤其是配上讲故事得旁白和背景非常有沉浸感。人物动作流畅没延迟，手感中上。
这款游戏对全成就玩家非常友好，全流程2小时，自主探索全成就上限3.5小时，且存档点多离成就点近。
游戏缺点主要在解谜，需要很强观察力和联想力而不是逻辑能力，很多面都是要注意观察地上和墙体边能交互的物品，和前一面或者后一面联动。解谜逻辑简单就是难找，尤其是屏幕很暗或者东西杂乱的时候。上述缺点严格来说不算缺点，最让人难以接受的地方在于某些时候过关必须要往前走进剧情才能推动流程（交互点），很多次我以为要在本面找解谜道具，结果只需要去跳崖或者溺水。

The whole game is styled like a marionette theater performance, with stages that look like handcrafted sets. Lights shine like a stage play, the environments feel like storybook dioramas, and Abby moves exactly like a puppet being controlled from above.

It’s honestly one of those games where you stop moving for a second just to admire the scenery… before remembering someone is probably chasing you....And they usually are.

Jack, the mysterious narrator, tells the story entirely in rhymes. Yes. The entire game.

Which means while you’re sneaking past danger he’s calmly saying things like:

“Our heroine runs through shadow and fright…”

Meanwhile you’re thinking:

“Sir I am currently being chased by a man with a pitchfork.”

The contrast is hilarious.

If you’re playing on a Steam Deck, the game feels right at home.

A Juggler's Tale ist ein kurzer 2,5-D-Sidescroller, der die Geschichte der aus ihrer "Gefangenschaft" flüchtenden Marionette Abby in einer malerischen Spielwelt erzählt.

Besonders gut haben mir die wundervoll atmosphärisch gestalteten Landschaften gefallen, bei denen ich die Spielfigur immer wieder einfach nur stehen lassen hab, um den Blick in die Ferne schweifen zu lassen. Herausragend ist auch das Sounddesign, das insbesondere durch den Erzähler eine gewisse Märchenwelt erschafft und die Geschichte trägt. Kleinere, nicht allzu schwierige Rätsel lockern den Versuch des Entkommens auf, dabei spielen oft auch die Marionettenfäden, an denen Abby hängt, eine Rolle.

A Juggler's Tale es de esos indies que te dan una función bien dirigida: plataformas con rompecabezas, física, y una puesta en escena que se siente artesanal. No viene a revolucionar el género, viene a contarte algo con estilo… y lo logra con suficiente encanto como para que le perdones que sea más “cuento interactivo” que “reto hardcore”.

Ahora, seamos controversiales: con 2 jugadores actuales, esto no es un fenómeno vivo, es una obra en matiné. Pero con 1062 recomendaciones totales, queda claro que a muchísima gente le funcionó la propuesta. Si te gustan los juegos narrativos, atmosféricos y compactos, aquí hay calidad. Si buscas horas infinitas y rejugabilidad obsesiva, este circo te va a parecer demasiado educado.

An enthusiastic two thumbs up for this "puppet show" told in 5 acts, with humorous narration in poetic couplets. Almost a Pinocchio-like feel to the atmosphere, as you navigate Abby through many perils to make full circle back to her home. Well done puzzles that require some figuring and timing to escape the bad guys but all are intuitive. I particularly liked the storm on the ocean part, which really captured the beauty of the tempest. I hope there is a sequel sometime.

A Juggler’s Tale is a short but memorable experience.

It took me about 2 hours to complete. The game is a focused, story-driven puzzle platformer. Atmosphere and beautiful art direction too.

The puppet concept is more than just aesthetic. It is integrated into the gameplay and the narrative (there's a narrator describing all actions you perform). Some puzzles are straightforward, some towards the end got a bit obscure (for me and my two neurons left).

It’s not a difficult game (I had skill issue with some jumps but that's on me).

The story was fun, music was adequate. Song in one part of the game around the middle was very catchy :)

If you enjoy titles like Limbo, Inside and so on I recommend you give this title a shot. Short but with atmosphere, light puzzle mechanics.

Выразительная сказка с невыразительным геймплеем.

История, как можно догадаться по ниточкам марионеток, чуть глубже повествования лишь о кукольном театре. Рассказчик, ведущий по сюжету, справился, а субтитры на русском зарифмованы, как и в оригинале.

Игровой процесс стандартный: передвигаемся, что-нибудь кидаем и как-нибудь взаимодействуем. Причём с треть, наверное, - это именно перемещение. Но по живописным локациям и под приятную музыку. Загадки простые, но. Что приятно - механика нитей используется. Что неприятно - некоторые моменты в игрушке на 2-3 часа мне показались затянутыми и утомительными. Также точки интеракций не всегда сразу заметны, так что если ты не понимаешь, что делать, значит, точно пропустил такую. По прохождении в меню появляются все контрольные точки, так что переиграть, чтобы добить все достижения, несложно.

Итого. Лично я, опираясь на описание, ожидала несколько большего. Игра берёт в основном лишь ярким внешним видом. Сюжет незамысловатый и подан скомкано. А геймплей блёклый, по большей части потому что не предлагает развития механик и/или не ставит интересных задач.

It's a student game.

If you go in with that understanding, it's fine. The string mechanic is interesting but used too sparingly. It's not always clear what single action will progress you through a roadblock and some mechanics are present only once, so it's not building on things it has taught you already.

The story is real bad and the setting makes no sense as it switches between whimsy and corpses. The English narration becomes grating pretty quickly . There is a song halfway through and I considered closing the game then and there.

But as a student game it's fine.

Sehr schönes Game mit einer ansprechenden Story.
Leider etwas kurz, die Mechanik mit den Marionettendrähten fand ich mal erfrischend anders.
15€ finde ich zu teuer für 2h Spielzeit, aber der aktuelle Preis von nicht mal 3€ ist dann auch wieder zu wenig.
Aber solange es überhaupt Geld in die Kassen der Entwickler spült, kann man ja auch nix falsch machen.

отличная сказка, проходится на одном дыхании. немного душные микро-моменты, где что-то не догоняешь и повторяешь несколько раз, но они все равно не изменили впечатление об игре, просто я такое не люблю. игра интересная, красивая, с постоянной сменой локаций , немаловажно что не затянутая . мне всё понравилось. я бы порекомендовала тем, кто хочет отдохнуть и залипнуть во что-то красивенькое на несколько часов (смутило только интегрирование нижнего текста речи рассказчика , выглядит стремновато)

O que este jogo tem de simples, ele tem de maravilhoso. Mesmo sendo uma experiência curta, ele te surpreende em o quão bem feito e lindo ele consegue ser. O foco da gameplay é o uso das cordas da protagonista, que influenciam tanto na movimentação quanto nos puzzles de forma muito criativa. Além disso, a história surpreende com reviravoltas e indo pra um caminho que eu não esperava.

Falando das conquistas, o jogo é muito tranquilo, se você deixar algo passar, o sistema de seleção de capítulos funciona perfeitamente e facilita muito a busca das que faltaram. Terminei o jogo em 2 horas, e com certeza recomendo demais pela sua qualidade narrativa e visual. Uma experiência pequena em duração, mas gigante em qualidade.

[h1]Un jeu dont la durée de vie tient à un fil[/h1]

Juggler's Tale est un (tout) petit jeu sympathique qui nous compte l'histoire d'Abby, une marionette, qui au fil de ses aventures se libérera de l'entrave du conteur.

L'histoire commence alors que vous la jongleuse d'un petit cirque dont s'occupe monsieur Loyal et dont vous aurez décidé un beau jour à lui faussez compagnie, mais monsieur Loyal ne l'entendra pas de cette oreille et décidera donc d'embaucher des bandits pour vous ramener au bercail.

Votre petit périple vous mènera donc à travers quelques jolis paysages dans l'espoir d'échapper à vos poursuivants et d'être enfin libre.

Quel dommage que celui-ci ne durera qu'une toute petite poignée d'heures, j'en ai vu la fin au bout d'à peine 2h30 environ avec tout les succès obtenus. Il y aura bien quelques petites énigmes à résoudre mais celles-ci sont d'une facilité déconcertante et même à 14€99 seulement je pense que tout le monde n'y trouvera pas son compte, heureusement que je l'ai eu pour 1€ à peine sur Instant gaming.

Après à côté de ça le jeu est très joli, bien animé, je n'ai rencontré aucun bug et il y à quelques jolis panoramas également, mais quel dommage que ce soit si court.

+ Une bonne idée de base, les énigmes basées sur les fils des marionettes.
+ Rien à reprocher techniquement et niveau gameplay.
+ Succès faciles à avoir.
+ Un jeu mignon tout plein :)

-...et donc trop cher, privilégiez le marché gris (Instant gaming par exemple)

C'est donc un peu déçu par la faible durée de vie que je ressort de ce Juggler's Tale, néanmoins, à moins de 10€ je le conseillerais malgré car même si c'était très court j'y ai quand même passé un agréable moment et ce sera un tout petit 11/20 à cause de la durée de vie très faible.

I short game with a bit of plot twist. The voice over for the narrator / puppet master is awesome! The writing complements the game story exceedingly well and it shows! the art and graphics are beautiful and colorful too!

The puzzle elements are nicely done and don't require to lookup on guides. The achievements are not difficult and you can obtain all of them by selecting different checkpoints throughout the game (doesn't require to restart the game from the beginning).

The story is very well narrated and is peppered with hints showcasing the characteristic traits of the narrator. I enjoyed the game and recommend for those seeking to complete a game during a weekend.

Ich hatte dieses Game schon länger auf meinem riesigen Pile of Shame und habs nun einfach mal begonnen und auch gleich durchgespielt.
Ein kurzer aber grafisch schöner Plattformer mit schön-gediegener Musik-Untermalung.
Nicht wirklich schwierig, auch wenn ich an 2-3 Stellen kurz nachdenken musste, bin aber auch schon alt und rostig :D.

Это чистый арт-хаус. Красивая кукольная история о свободе, рассказанная рифмами. Игра впечатляет стилем, но её 2,5–3 часа геймплея это очень простое платформерное (заточенный под steam deck) приключение с лёгкими головоломками. Сила игры не в сложности, а в атмосфере и метафоре.

Атмосфера и подача на высоте. История о кукле-жонглёре, которую рассказывает Кукольник. Визуал, это смесь сказок Гримм и Тима Бертона. Полная рифмованная озвучка и прекрасный саундтрек (очень жаль нет русской озвучки). Нити марионетки не просто графика, а основа геймплея и символ несвободы. Эмоциональный твист в сюжете силён. Оптимизация хорошая, багов не заметил.

Геймплей лёгкий, головоломки решаются интуитивно, самое то для игры на вечер. Игра затягивает с первых минут и не отпускает до самого конца. Рекомендую ценителям арт-инди, атмосферных "визуальных новелл" с геймплеем, коротких сильных историй.

Итог: 9/10. Можно смело брать по скидке. +1 в идеальные игры.

童话木偶剧风格的横板过关小游戏，提线设定与旁白引入有设计性，不过解谜与剧情都中规中矩，整体像读了一个小小的可互动寓言。丝线既是剧情核心，同时也是解谜障碍，挣脱束缚的过程也完成了叙事的延伸。

印象较深的有旁白台词做了很多押韵处理，工整对仗又朗朗上口；以及这方面本土化翻译也很不错，惊讶强盗之歌的汉化竟也完全压上了韵脚！配合有节奏感的民谣旋律听起来让人会心一笑。另外说书人这个角色为游戏添加了一定的meta元素，逃亡过程形成了一种“操控”与“反抗操控”的隐喻。而舞台谢幕后，玩家才是真正控制Abby的那个人，不禁会想脱离提线的Abby是否真正获得了自由呢。

全流程较短，如果快的话大概1-2小时即可通关。角色操作基本只有跳跃、推拉、投掷，解谜较为简单，但引导设计一般。有追逐战情节，个别地方判定还挺严格（压迫感直线上升）。成就方面有关卡与章节选择，后期补起来也方便，全成就中只有一个【不湿鞋】要小心仔细一些（需要整个第二章不落水），其他都比较容易达成。不过综合考虑到流程时长与游戏性，不建议以超过个位数的价格购入。

小而美的游戏，讲述了一个温暖的童话故事，定格动画式的风格很吸引我。

全流程一个半小时左右，解密比较简单，剧情是中规中矩的寻找自由。游戏结束后看到大家一起表演还是蛮感动的，比起游戏更像一部儿童动画电影。

我在游玩过程中没有遇到什么恶性bug，顺风顺水玩下来了。引导做的也挺好，所有可交互物品上都有明显的红色布条。

值得一玩的小游戏，尤其推荐给孩子们，对成年人可能有点幼稚。

买的时候是9块钱，所以看美术挺好，就没怎么考虑。是个比较休闲的小游戏，一两个小时的体量。全程没有太多激情，就是普通的听个故事，因为解迷都很简单。结尾的时候当小女孩骑上灰熊的时候，突然有所触动，因为小时候曾幻想过这个场景。这时候我明白过来，这其实是个给小孩子玩的温暖小故事。所以家里有小孩子的，十岁左右吧，我倒是推荐一下。这个故事很单纯，也很典型。

This was overall a really good experience, super short and concise one. I did have a little bit of jank with a chapter not loading so had to go back on a check point and getting stuck on a net and restarting a check point but those were pretty much instant.

Hmm that sense of dread and foreshadowing were really spot on and that it was amazing how it went from hmm that is a weird phrasing, to i have a weird feeling about this, to oh ♥♥♥♥ this is going to get really bad, and oh that is terrifying.

Also that level of personality in a character that never says a single word is fantastic, she felt really fleshed out even though she never says a damn word and I will see her journey through.

I have always been interested in completion percentage of steam achievements, 77% finishes act 1, and 50% finish the game. That is a significant amount of people, yeah the game is short but most people either never started the game, and a much lower percentage actually finish it. 50% is really high.

Anyways, if you see the game, it is worth the pick up. What you see is exactly what you get, simple gameplay and puzzles with a hell of a narrator.

遇到了挺多恶性BUG。
[spoiler] 猎人小屋那边的车子，桥再次升起给的时间实在太短，重做任务的时候还试过绳子卡上天这种事 [/spoiler]
互动物品上有红色布条，也能想的出如何操作，但是其实人物的性能摆在那里其实很繁琐。
特别是BOSS战，互动的太枯燥了，打完甚至想笑。

„A Juggler’s Tale“ ist ein märchenhaftes Indie-Adventure von kaleidoscube, erschienen 2021. Es handelt sich um einen 2,5D-Plattformer mit starkem Fokus auf Story, Atmosphäre und Symbolik. Gekämpft wird nicht, stattdessen steht Erzählen, Beobachten und Nachdenken im Vordergrund. Ich bin mit Neugier gestartet und ziemlich nachdenklich wieder rausgegangen.

[h1]📖 Handlung / Story[/h1]
Im Zentrum steht Abby, eine Marionette, die aus der Gefangenschaft ihres Puppenspielers fliehen will. Die Geschichte wird von einem Erzähler begleitet, der nicht nur kommentiert, sondern aktiv ins Geschehen eingreift. Themen wie Freiheit, Abhängigkeit, Kontrolle und Selbstbestimmung ziehen sich durch das gesamte Spiel. Ich fand die Meta-Ebene extrem spannend, auch wenn sie stellenweise bewusst unbequem wirkt.

[h1]🎮 Gameplay[/h1]
Gameplay besteht aus klassischem Platforming und physikbasierten Rätseln, bei denen Abbys Fäden eine zentrale Rolle spielen. Diese Mechanik ist clever, aber nicht immer präzise. An manchen Stellen fühlte sich die Steuerung etwas hakelig an, gerade bei Sprüngen. Trotzdem bleibt das Gameplay abwechslungsreich genug, um durchgehend zu tragen.

Die Steuerung ist sehr simpel und schnell verstanden. Laufen, springen, Objekte greifen – mehr braucht es nicht. Teilweise fühlt sich Abby durch ihre Fäden etwas träge an, was aber thematisch ganz gut passt. Ein paar Sprungpassagen waren minimal fummelig, aber nie wirklich frustig. Insgesamt eher entspanntes Gameplay.

[h1]💀 Schwierigkeit[/h1]
Der Schwierigkeitsgrad ist moderat. Einige Rätsel erfordern Timing und ein bisschen Geduld, ich bin an ein, zwei Stellen kurz hängen geblieben. Frustig wurde es aber nie. Das Spiel verlangt Aufmerksamkeit, nicht Skill-Mastery.

[h1]🎨 Grafik[/h1]
Optisch ist „A Juggler’s Tale“ ein echtes Highlight. Die Spielwelt sieht aus wie eine liebevoll gebaute Theaterbühne mit Puppen, Kulissen und Lichtspiel. Animationen und Details verstärken ständig das Gefühl, Teil einer Inszenierung zu sein. Der Stil ist konsequent und sehr stimmungsvoll.

[h1]🎧 Sound / Bildschirmtexte[/h1]
Der Soundtrack ist ruhig, melancholisch und passt perfekt zum märchenhaften Ton. Besonders stark ist die Erzählerstimme des Puppenspielers Jack (komplett auf Deutsch vertont!), die Atmosphäre und Bedeutung trägt. Musik und Sprache ergänzen sich gut, ohne sich gegenseitig zu überlagern.

Technisch lief das Spiel bei mir größtenteils stabil. Kleinere Ungenauigkeiten in der Physik und Kollisionsabfrage sind mir aufgefallen, vor allem bei Sprüngen. Nichts gamebreakingmäßiges, aber spürbar.

Gibt es nicht. Das Spiel ist strikt linear, ohne Sammelzwang oder Wiederholungen. Sehr angenehm und passend zur erzählten Geschichte.

Die Spielzeit liegt bei etwa 3 bis 4 Stunden. Für mich genau richtig, da das Spiel stark von seiner Idee lebt und sich nicht unnötig streckt.

Die Achievements sind überschaubar und größtenteils story- oder situationsbasiert. Kein nerviger Sammelgrind, 100 % sind sehr gut machbar.

„A Juggler’s Tale“ ist ein atmosphärisches, nachdenkliches Indie-Spiel, das mehr erzählen will als nur eine nette Geschichte. Gameplay und Steuerung sind nicht perfekt, aber die Inszenierung, Symbolik und Erzählweise machen das locker wett. Für mich ein kleines Kunstwerk, das länger im Kopf bleibt als viele größere Produktionen. Empfehlenswert für alle, die Games auch als erzählerisches Medium schätzen.

A Juggler's Tale é uma grata surpresa, comecei sem esperar nada e me vi preso em um jogo sobre liberdade.
É um jogo no estilo Limbo/Inside, mas que inova demais com as mecanicas dos fios de marionete, que acaba dando um nó na cabeça em alguns puzzles. A arte é belissima, a narrativa e o narrador te envolve demais e a trilha sonora é impecável.
O único "porém" é que acaba rápido, em 2 ou 3 horas você ja zerou. Mas vale cada minuto
