This is the last game my grandpa played before passing away. The 7 Wonders games are the games he spent the most time in when gaming and he loved them. I'm planning to play and 100% the game at some point as a way to honor him and I'm looking forward to it.

But that's beside the point and irrelevant to the review. Personally, I think the gameplay loop can be addicting and I like it a lot. While I don't have a lot of time spent on it on my account, I played more when visiting grandpa. I also like the visual style and there is enough content to enjoy several hours. It's a good game to play when you want to relax a bit after a stressful day at work.

Looking forward to playing it more.

Nice match-3 with diverse activities, and different from earlier releases in the series (this is the 5th).
You can play in various modes, from "zen" (no timer, no limited moves) to "so hard you'll have to replay levels".

A fine match-3 game
Pretty much what you'd expect -- a good way to burn 20 mins here and there when your work day's left you with no mental energy to play something more demanding
I remember my mom coming back exhausted from work, putting whatever on the TV and falling asleep in front of it. This is kind of like that but a video game. I wish I didn't have to spent most of my waking hours working until I died but no dice. At least there's video games lmao am I right
I didn't pause when I got my food delivery yesterday so I missed out on the "no timeout" cheevo, oh well. Uninstalling this now

Fun version of the typical connect 3 format.
Old-School, addicting, and the perfect amount of difficulty if you try and 4 star every level on max difficulty because you only get one try to complete all 7 rounds perfect or you need to start all over.

各種お助けボムつきのコラムス系落ちものゲーム
ブロックを消すと、その後ろの画面の背景も同時に削れるシステム
背景を全部消すと、ゴールブロックが最上段に登場し、これを最下段まで落とせばクリア
ボムはブロックを崩していくとチャージされていきます

これだけ聞くと物凄く簡単そうなのですが、画面の中に空白ブロックがあったり、画面も真四角でなく歪な形をしていたりしていて、ブロックを消し難い箇所が随所に出てきて中々にやりごたえがあります
少なくともお値段以上の面白さは保証できる一品

7 Wonders: Ancient Alien Makeover greift das Gerücht auf das die Pyramiden von Gizeh von den Aliens errichtet wurde, es geht so gar noch weiter, vielleicht wurden alle Weltwunder von Aliens erbaut ??? :). Es gibt viel zu entdecken neue Wunder, Levels Herausforderungen und so einiges mehr. Zwei Kritikpunkt sind mir Merklich aufgefallen zum ersten sind manche Minispiele sehr Herausfordernd gerade für Neulinge. Zum Zweiten ist dieses Spiel komplet auf Englisch.

Going to keep this brief:

If you are on AMD cards BEWARE this game runs like molasses. It is a complete LAGFEST!
If you are on STEAM DECK: If you like the genre and it's on sale, get it, it runs great!
If you are on NVIDIA cards: same as with SteamDeck the game works fine.
Overall this is a do not recommend as the game will only run on certain configs. Would have been a recommend if it was working properly.

Update --

This seems to be working fine now on my AMD rig. Not sure if there was an update to the game or the drivers but it is in fact working properly now.

This game is really addicting, fun, and challenging! There are mini-games to play, goals to meet, and time to beat. But there is a Zen mode also. I think it's worth the money! I bought all the games from Mumbo Jumbo which includes Toy Soldiers, Luxor, Midnight Mysteries, Zombie Bowl-O-Rama, Glowfish and every game made by them is remarkably enjoyable and heartwarming. I do hope they keep coming up with such colorful games. If you love matchmaking and match-3 games like bejeweled or candy crush, there's no doubt you are going to dance in joy once you play this one.

Telefonos játékokon nagyon népszerű az ilyen párosítós játék.
Nincs ember a földön, aki ne ismerné a hármas párosítás játékokat. Nem cím szerint, csak hogy léteznek, és hogy milyenek, hogy kell játszani.

A szabály mindenhol ugyan az.
A leérkező elemeknek 3 vagy több párban, esetleg különböző alakokban kell lenniük ahhoz, hogy azok eltűnjenek, és jöjjenek a többiek.
Az ilyen játékoknál népszerű az "akadály" is, melyek a fagyott/bebetonozott/kövezett, stb slotokat, helyeket jelenti.
Ilyenkor nem elég, hogy egyszer megtalálod a 3+ párt, mert előfordul, hogy 2x is meg kell csinálni, hogy az a terület feloldódjon, és ott is leessenek az elemek.

A játékban több nehézség is van, amit a játék kezdetekor kiválaszthatsz.
Könnyű (zen), ahol nincs idő.
Közepes, nehéz, és a lehetetlen.
Mindenki válassza ki a magának megfelelőt.

A [b]teljesítményeket[/b], achievementeket, Relax módban simán össze lehet gyűjteni, ki lehet farmolni, alig 1-2 kivételével, ahol már kell az idő.
Bár már nem rémlik, de azt hiszem ez az, ahol kéri, hogy mindegyik játékmódban vidd ki a játékot.
Nem kötelező, csak mondom.

Több booster vagy minek nevezik, bomba is rendelkezésre áll, hogy gyorsabban tisztítsd meg a pályát.
Ezeket főleg akkor kapod meg, ha különböző alakokat sikerül kirakni az azonos elemekből, mint a gyakori "L" alak.
Érdemes használni, főleg, ha időköz kötött a játék, ne gyűjtögesd, és ne hagyd a végére, mert ezeken múlik a siker.
Vannak olyan pályák, amiket többször is végig kell játszani, hogy megkapd a jutalmat a végén.

Hangokról nem tudok nyilatkozni, ebből kifolyólag a játék tökéletesen játszható [b]hallássérültek[/b] számára is.
Ez csak időtöltés, semmi nagy játék. Elvagy vele, ha éppen várni kell valamire, vagy ha unatkozol, ennél nem több.

Ha szereted az ilyet, bár teljes áron ugyan nem, de akciósan megéri a játék.
Vedd figyelembe, hogy nagyon régi játékról van szó, ennek ellenére az ára nem akar csökkenni, viszont a grafikája nem éppen egy szépség.
Ultrawide monitoron is érdemes ablakos módban játszani.

Качественная игрушка три-в-ряд, особых претензий к ней не возникло. Обучение просматривать необязательно, все интуитивно понятно (если что, надо собрать определенное количество конкретных "фишечек"). С каждым уровнем постепенно создаешь замок или другие постройки, за что дают бонусы для более простого прохождения уровней. Имеется звездочная система, которая насколько я понял больше для заинтересованности игрока, чем для пользы.

Первое, что не понравилось, так это нужда в конце уровня скидывать неразбиваемый камушек вниз с помощью паверапов на карте, которые разбивают камни (а получаются с помощью 4-в-ряд или пять в ряд). Этот процесс может иногда неприятно затягиваться, поэтому бывает лучше приберечь паверапы к концу.
Второй минус: этот самый камушек, требуемый для концовки уровня появляется по какой-то непонятной логике. Вот я накапливаю требуемое количество "фишек" с игрового поля, а когда появится камень вообще не понимаю. Почему-то далеко не сразу...

ГЛАВНАЯ ПРОБЛЕМА ИГРЫ - это цена. В текущих реалиях за такие деньги можно купить "топовую" игрушку (пусть и не первой свежести) или даже несколько (если выловить на скидке). Как никак, здесь имеется крайне однообразный геймплей, который предельно растянут по времени. Лучше бы ценник был меньше в пару раз и длительность тоже, хотя игра просто рассчитана на непритязательных игроков...

A fairly simple match3, there are loads of these available for all possible operating systems. While this one doesn't offer anything you wouldn't find anywhere else, it's still pretty good. The graphics are nice, music is quite bearable and at least for me there were no bugs or crashes.
So if you're into match3 games, this is a solid choice.

7 Wonders Series - A short-ish retrospective of game 1, 3 and 5 and small remarks about 2 and 4.

7 Wonders of the Ancient World (first game):
This one is of course the most dated (and at times, frustrating) and it doesn't do anything special other than introducing the core mechanic of this series, breaking tiles by doing matches instead of aiming for a specific points cap like others of the genre.
Its strongest point is the aesthetic, people call this one "crude looking", but honestly I really appreciate the hand drawn sprites of the workers, they have a lot of personality into them and it's a nice distraction from the main action on the board...but I know a lot of people wouldn't care about this aspect, but to me it's what made 7 Wonders stand out from other games of this genre.
The music is also pretty neat, the title theme is pretty much iconic to me.
I recommend it, but you might need to be properly skilled for this one.

7 Wonders - Treasures of Seven (third game):
People say this one is too easy, but honestly I was really into the new mechanics, though I do admit that timer is WAY too lenient, there's no tension (but this might be good for some people I guess, unfortunately difficulty options were only added in the games after this one).
First one is, you can now rotate the board (which you could use to put the Ice Bonuses's blast of action in a better row, and also make the RNG drop the runes from a side that might be more advantageous), which makes the game more engaging and less frustrating to me.
Second one, once you've broken all tiles on the board, the last thing you have to do is to move the keystone through a shaded predefined path into its keyhole, which is done by doing matches and also rotating the board to change where the keystone will drop.
The graphics looks nicer and there's even a night-day cycle in the background as the wonder is being built!
The workers are now pre-rendered instead of hand drawn, and the worker with the glasses is sadly gone (he was in the first and second game, moving bigger blocks to the workers).
The music is, in my opinion, the best in the series, second one being the first game's.
It has mostly calm well composed melodies that fits very well with how charming this series is, with the keystone themes being a bit more tense.
I recommend this one the most, especially for a newcomer or someone that wants to try something a bit different!

-7 Wonders - Ancient Alien Makeover (fifth game):
This one takes off from the fourth game, (so, still no rotating board) but it improved it extensively.
There's new minigames in adventure mode to spice up gameplay a little, like a sliding block one for unlocking new powerups you will use on the board to remove/destroy/swap/eat tiles, a side thing involving placing tiles to fill all blocks in which you have to match their colors or symbols, and finally one about clearing paths for the workers to get pieces of blueprint to make buildings to put in the village.
Speaking of that, it's an extra thing mostly for visual satisfaction, you have a village where you can place all the buildings and decorations you can unlock by progressing through adventure mode!
It's a charming thing and it's cool to see the workers hanging around, relaxing and eating outside of their work site.
I also recommend this one, it's somewhat more difficult than the third game but it has a lot going for it that I appreciated!
Also it has STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS, unlike the other titles in the series.

-7 Wonders II and Magical Mystery Tour (second and fourth game):
Unfortunately I don't have good things to say about these two (except for the fact that II has really good music), I couldn't do more than doing a few levels, which might not be seen as having a fair opinion on these two games, but I really couldn't bring myself to it, knowing the series has better games to offer.
7 Wonders II is kind of tedious, the aim is to make as much matches as possible to have enough material to build the wonder, and sometimes you might complete a level and only have 1 material, making it not engaging nor well paced (all the other entries stick to the 7 level limit, I'm not sure why they decided to depart from that).
7 Wonders - Magical Mystery Tour undid the new mechanics of the third game, and didn't really do much new to make it stand out, it's kind of mediocre and doesn't have much going for it.

TL;DR: I recommend Treasures of Seven and Ancient Alien Makeover!
This said, it was really nice to check out this series again, last time I did was around a decade and half ago, and I didn't even know there were 3 more titles, but now I'm up to date, and I had fun!

스팀 지천에 깔린 '매치3' 게임 중 하나인 [b]《7대 불가사의: 고대 외계인의 변장[i](=이하 AAM)[/i]》[/b]이다. 7 Wonders 시리즈는 이 놈에게 크게 감사해야 한다. 왜냐, 시리즈 전체를 통틀어서 유일하게 도전과제가 있는 게임이거든. 하마터면 이게 '시리즈'였다는 것도 모르고 영영 라이브러리에 묻힐 뻔 했는데, 이 'AAM'으로 인해 빛을 보게 된 셈이다. 적어도 내 라이브러리 유니버스에서는 그렇다. 심지어 게임도 꽤나 잘 만든 편.

+ 적절한 플레이 타임
+ 매치3와 빌드 시스템과의 만남(건물을 쌓아올리는 재미가 있다)
+ 게임이 진행될수록 사용 가능한 파워 종류가 늘어남
+ 무작정 맞추는 게 아닌, 미션이 존재한다

+ 라인, 크로스, 웜홀 등으로 맞출 때의 타격감이 괜찮다

- 타임 리미트 난이도와 횟수 노가다 때문에 도전과제 올클리어가 귀찮을 수 있음
- 미션 다 끝내고 마지막 클리어 벽돌이 생성되는 조건이 정확히 뭔지 모르겠음

정말 잘 만든 매치3 게임이다. 초반에는 무조건 '시간 제한 없는' 난이도로 엔딩 보고, 파워를 다 갖춘 상태에서 '타임 리미트' 있는 아무 난이도로 다시 깨자. 파워를 적극 사용하면서 진행하면 게임 진행속도가 상상을 초월할 정도로 빠르다. 시간 제한이 있어도 없게 느껴지는 수준. 라인은 상대적으로 잘 뜨기 때문에 괜찮은데, [i]크로스와 웜홀 300회 사용하기[/i]가 약간의 노가다가 필요하다. 텔레포트 파워를 적극적으로 활용할 것. 오랜만에 재밌는 매치3 였고, 도전과제 올클리어도 이 정도면 할 만한 편이라 엄지는 올린다.

도전과제 용으로 진행.
비주얼드 류 게임으로 벽돌을 부숴서 목표하는 유물을 수집하고 유적건물을 올리는 것이 최종 목표.
자연스럽게 엔딩을 보면 도전과제가 깨졌으면 좋겠는데 컨텐츠를 다 돌리고도 폭탄류 및 블랙홀 수량 업적 때문에 하루종일 플레이함.
시간 때우기 용으로는 추천하지만 모바일도 이런 게임많은데.. 그닥

While this game does seem to be yet another match 3 game, it throws a unique twist at you - aliens! You get to rebuild the ancient Wonders of the World with the help of an alien technology.

I am fan of match games because they don’t take much to focus on and is a great way to pass some time. The concept is always rather simple and some even throw in small bonus ways to complete the game. In this one, as I said earlier you use a device that you power up through completing levels to build the wonders into gold! There are even additional puzzles like collecting all the gems on a board, challenges in a mine and so on. On top of that, you build some buildings in your town to help boost yourself, too!

It was a good game and kept my attention. The entertainment value was good enough for me. I would recommend it if you don’t mind this type of game and possibly, spending some time figuring out puzzles.

Decente para pasar el rato, tu objetivo es construir monumentos con las piezas, tiene logros si te gustan los retos, tiene modo sin tiempo y con tiempo y varias dificultades aun asín 10€ para un juego móvil no lo veo xd

Un match3 de los de toda la vida, no muy complejo. Tiene unos minijuegos entre niveles que estan bien, per en términos generales no es mucho más que eso, un match 3 para hacer algo mientras escuchas un podcast o lo que sea. Tiene un par de logros medio difíciles de sacar, pero que solo significan jugar más horas.
Comprarlo con descuento, o en un bundle de los de 20 juegos por 2 dólares, a precio completo es un robo

Decent enough match up game, where you have your abilities, 4, 5 and 6 match-up rewards and decent management of the city aesthetically. Played 12 hours and I'm not a fan of these types of games. Take that as you want :)

Not much to say about this game, but it's not bad. Had some fps issues and restarted and then it was fine afterwards.

If you like this series you can't go wrong with this one. It's fun and objectively better than the first (I only own this and the first to compare it to got them from a bundle). Not a huge fan of the alien theme of this game the first had a more nostalgic feel helped by it's sprites. Pretty fun and crazy low price, I've had combo meals that cost more and brought less enjoyment.

GRAFICA: Carina stile casual game adatta al tipo di gioco.

CONTROLLER: Consigliato mouse e tastiera.
DURATA: Circa 10 ore per il completamento di tutti gli achievement.
RUN COMPLETAMENTO: Una, si tratta alla fine solo di rigiocare i livelli per completare quello che si è lasciato indietro.
COMMENTO: Classico gioco in cui combinare oggetti, graficamente molto bello con la variante di non avere uno schema di una forma predefinita ma cambia a ogni livello. Questo rende ogni livello da risolvere in modo leggermente diverso dal precedente. Se vi piace il genere merita di essere giocato.

不兼容WIN10，改成WIN7兼容性也不行，游戏全程会非常缓慢卡顿。
本来想佛性玩一下，结果每次启动都很容易白屏卡死STEAM，

Out of all of the games in the 7 wonders series, this is the Newest. It is also the most polished feeling and that is a good thing. It really feels like efforts were made to rectify several things that were problematic in the prior 7 wonders Magical Mystery Tour. I found the auto replenishing of special power-ups as you play a neat gimmick even though there were times I had to manually set it when I needed a specific power-up on a repeated basis. I really liked the idea of the village and building it up as you play, it makes it fun and something to aim for as you play. I did notice a couple of things that still are the same that I wish would be changed namely that when you lose a round you also seem to lose the bonuses for that round you get as you build your wonder. I am also still disappointed at the selection of wonders especially this time around even though I found these interesting and learned a lot from them. The mini game in this one was also much better than the ones found in previous games. I expect people to be able to complete this one in a day. In the end this is a nearly perfect game in a series fraught with ups and downs.

Got it with 30 other similar games from a Humble Bundle. Not only is this the only one which is actually playable, but it excels if you're into casual gaming.

The fifth and latest instalment in the 7 Wonders series is easily the best of the lot.. proper support for modern resolutions, vastly improved graphics & sound and the first to implement steam achievements. The gameplay has been well refined from the previous titles and the difficulty is toned down, for the better.. overall a solid puzzler.
