Ich dachte mir mal, das es wieder an der Zeit wäre, sich mal ein gemütliches Arcade WWII Game zu gönnen, da ich Erinnerungen an das PS3 Spiel (Damage Inc. Pacific Squadron WWII) bekam. Hat mir zu der damaligen PS3 Zeiten richtig viel Spaß gemacht und bin dann plötzlich auf diese Game aufmerksam geworden.

Die Grafik ist für mich ganz in Ordnung. Hab schon schlimmeres gesehen. Das Flugzeug sieht auch recht ordentlich aus, was das Modell angeht und einen Fetten +Punkt gibt es dafür, das man seine Maschine upgraden kann. Als Beispiel: (Höhere Reichweite auf kosten von Präzision oder aber auch umgekehrt.) Geiler Einfall und zu dem muss man die Konfiguration auch selbst bewerkstelligen, an dem man die ein oder anderen (Alten) Teile abbaut um das jeweilige/gewünschte neue Teil einzubauen und den Flieger wieder am Ende wieder zusammen flickt.

ABER:
Ganz großes ABER geht an diese verfluchte Steuerung. Also mit Maus & Tastatur ist das für (MICH) die reinste Hölle und beim Controller fang ich am besten garnicht erst an. Ich wollte das Spiel erst mit meinem Controller spielen. Habe mir dann derweil in den Einstellungen einen ordentlichen Bruch geholt, wodurch die Laune sowie die Freude erstmalig im Keller war. Nachdem ich das irgendwie gebacken bekommen hatte, die jeweils gewünschte Einstellung zu bekommen auf meinem Controller, hat es mich doch dann erheblich Frustriert, da die Flugsteuerung nicht so war, wie ich es mir Vorgestellt hatte. Dennoch wollte ich nicht aufgeben und bin dann zu Maus & Tastatur gewechselt. Und selbst da fand ich das echt Ekelhaft. Präzise Zielen ging garnicht. Sobald ich reingezoomt hatte, musste ich mit der Maus kurbeln, damit das Fadenkreuz ansatzweise an dem gegnerischem Flugzeug dran war. In der ersten Mission bin ich gefühlt 10 Minuten lang, einer gegnerischen BF109 hinterher geflogen um sie zu killen. Also Feinsteuerung nicht vorhanden. Ist die BF109 NUR geradeaus geflogen, hatte ich selbst da richtige Probleme mit der Steuerung überhaupt hinter dem Feindflieger mich zu positionieren.

Also kurz und knapp gesagt:

Spiel ist Grafik technisch Fine, aber die Steuerung ist für MICH Müll.

On sent que le jeu a été fait par une toute petite équipe.

A short but enjoyable aerial combat game, sadly I do wish the spitfire became part of the campaign instead of unlocking at the end. All in all though, such an enjoyable little game.

Both the arcade and realistic flight choices are fun and neither take away from the enjoyment. I did find the weird mechanic sim part pointless and annoying apart from that it was good.
A must have just for fun game.

As much as I want to give this a thumbs up, I can't. The game itself is decent; Good story with ok graphics. But its buggy as hell. You can get the ramming award for flying close to an enemy for example. Try it if you want, but its honestly more of a game ment to tell the stories of the 303s rathen than being actually good :(

The game is not as polished as a triple A title, but for the sale price, it is okay. What is infuriating though is the poor controller support - I use a genuine Microsoft Xbox Controller for Windows (the latest layout/"version"), and it's unplayable with a controller, which is a massive shame as the keyboard controls are quite clunky. What I really like is the ability to disassemble & upgrade the engine & guns on the plane - that's a nice detail.
I would give it a C - the combat can be fun once you get used to the dodgy controls, but for a flight game, the poor controller support is REALLY annoying, as the game wastes a lot of potential by making controllers unusable. How hard can it be to enable simple controller support, instead of introducing various layouts none of which work? Wish they would fix that, then I would upgrade the overall rating to B. Avoid paying full price, as the game is something you try out once or twice, but the flaws are too big to make this a "primary game" you return to frequently. There certainly are worse games out there (especially in that price range).

Histoire :
Bienvenue en 1940, en pleine Bataille d’Angleterre. Vous incarnez un pilote du 303e escadron polonais, une unité légendaire qui a joué un rôle crucial dans la défense britannique contre la Luftwaffe. Contrairement à d’autres jeux de combat aérien, celui-ci ne se contente pas de vous mettre aux commandes d’un avion : il vous plonge dans le quotidien des pilotes, entre missions périlleuses, réparations d’urgence et moments de fraternité au sol.

C’est une approche originale qui donne du poids aux combats, car chaque victoire est une petite revanche historique, et chaque échec une potentielle perte pour votre escadron.

Gameplay :
Aux commandes de votre Spitfire ou Hurricane, vous devrez chasser des escadrons de bombardiers allemands, affronter des chasseurs de la Luftwaffe et défendre des cibles stratégiques. Le jeu propose un modèle de vol semi-réaliste, accessible sans être arcade, ce qui signifie que vous allez crasher votre avion quelques fois avant de vraiment comprendre comment gérer les virages serrés et les tirs précis.

Mais ce n’est pas juste un simulateur de vol ! Entre les missions, vous pouvez réparer votre avion, interagir avec les autres pilotes et améliorer votre machine, ajoutant une couche immersive bienvenue. C'est un peu comme si Top Gun rencontrait un garage de mécanos passionnés.

Graphismes :
Les cockpits sont détaillés, les avions sont magnifiquement modélisés, et l’ambiance ciel enflammé / explosions en plein vol est plutôt réussie. En revanche, le sol est un peu vide, mais vu que vous êtes censé rester en altitude, on va dire que c’est une incitation subtile à ne pas s’écraser.

L’interface est parfois un peu old-school, mais dans l’ensemble, ça fait le taf.

Difficulté :
Ce n’est ni un pur simulateur hardcore, ni un jeu arcade : la prise en main demande un certain temps d’adaptation. Il faut gérer son carburant, anticiper les trajectoires ennemies et éviter de trop tirer sous peine de surchauffer les canons.

Les combats sont nerveux et exigeants, et si vous sous-estimez l’ennemi, vous finirez en flammes plus vite que vous ne pourrez crier "Mayday".

Durée de vie :
Comptez une dizaine d’heures pour boucler la campagne principale, et plus si vous voulez tester toutes les missions et perfectionner votre pilotage. Avec les différents types d’objectifs et la gestion au sol, on ne s’ennuie pas.

Prix (en solde) :
En promo, le jeu descend souvent sous la barre des 10 euros, ce qui en fait une bonne affaire pour les fans d’aviation historique.

Conclusion :
303 Squadron: Battle of Britain est un bel hommage aux pilotes polonais qui ont défendu l’Angleterre avec courage. Avec un mélange intéressant entre combats aériens intenses et gestion au sol, il propose une approche immersive du genre.

Si vous aimez l’aviation de la Seconde Guerre mondiale et que vous cherchez un jeu qui ne se contente pas de vous faire tirer sur des avions ennemis, c’est une belle découverte.

Et puis, franchement… qui n’a jamais rêvé de piloter un Spitfire et de devenir un as du dogfight ? ✈️🔥

Чем же можно заняться в этой игре... можно кататься на велике по базе часами, можно побегать десятикилометровую дистанцию, можно заняться собиранием двух мешков грибов - тоже занятие на часы, можно минуты отдавать честь флагу и королеве, можно бегать и кататься за бегущими парнями, можно со всеми переобщаться, ух... а когда же летать спросите вы... летать как нибудь потом, у нас тут открытый мир на военной базе и ты давай занимайся на ней рутинной активностью. Такие выставлены приоритеты.
Знал бы что энное количество достижений поломанные и не выбиваются, потратил бы время на что-нибудь более полезное. Но когда заподозрил, что какого-то вроде выполнить должен, а не выполняется, пошёл искать ответы в обсуждения, где нашёл ветки с жалобами на такое, на что ответ разраба был "Достижения выбиваются, мне пoxyй!".
Бессмысленная трата времени и денег.

I've been searching for an engaging Battle of Britain gameplay experience, and 303 Squadron: Battle of Britain has caught my attention. Although I've owned it for a while, I only recently started playing it. Upon loading it up tonight, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it's an RPG/Battle of Britain hybrid, featuring a storyline, character interactions, and the ability to repair and upgrade your plane. The game offers a flight simulator experience that can be tailored to suit individual preferences, ranging from arcade-style gameplay to a more realistic flight simulator. While the graphics may not be outstanding due to the game's age, it's based on a board game called 303 Battle of Britain. As a simulator, you assume the role of a pilot on a base, interacting with other characters and upgrading your plane with specialized parts. The ultimate goal is to progress from flying a Hurricane to a Spitfire, with the option to pilot other planes like the Typhoon. Overall, I'm having a enjoyable time playing it. And yes you do walk around in a first person mode, you do actually work on your airplane, and you actually take off and land. And you can die and I don't think it's permanent death I think you can set it for permanent death if you wanted to, but it's the beginning of Battle of Britain and as you start the game Germany is not yet started bombing Britain yet.

In this game we can witness the Story of Squadron 303 a legendary exile (polish) Squadron that defended Britain back in World War 2 from Germany with just a handful of planes and Pilots of which 303 is one of the Squadron put together from exiled and highly skilled Fighter Pilots. Anyway if you are interested in the Story of 303 you can read it in form of papers located around the Airbase.

Back to the game itself it plays and runs good and I liked it recommend and if you like games with this kind of Theme I would also recommend Aviators

this game is pure boredom! And it really gets annoying having to do these tasks that are just a waste of time. The only thing I liked was the story about the game I am a big WW2 Aviation geek and i play a lot of WW2 Aviation games as well and this is just so boring i'd rather watch paint dry. The Devs pretty much abandoned the game as well. I like it at first but the more i played the more i disliked it. I'd give it a 2.5 out of 10.

This is a strange game. I couldn't get past the first part of the first mission which makes you ride a bike to a place and where it wants you to fix a plain without telling you how. How absurd. I bought this to fight planes in the sky not to do dumb errands that don't work.

Polecam omijać, bo to nie jest warte nawet jako ciekawostka a do tego nawet nie wygląda tak ładnie jak na tych trailerach i screenach w sklepie Steam. Chcesz pokazać dziecku bitwę o Anglię odpal Ił-2 albo chociaż leciwe Combat Wings Battle of Britain. Tym kasztanem tylko zniechęcisz i ośmieszysz tą tematykę.

Z całym szacunkiem dla tematyki ale ta gra jest paskudna. Toporne drewno, otoczenie i tekstury jak z assetów których nie chciało się nawet dobrze wykończyć graficznie, żeby nie wyglądało jak sztuczna makieta czegoś. Niedoróby rzucają się w oczy. A to brak dodanych tekstur na obiekty amunicji i pudełek przy strzelnicy, a to jakieś dodane od czapy wielkie grzyby rosnące pod drzewami (grzyby pasowałyby bardziej jako naturalna flora Prypeci) . Samo strzelanie na strzelnicy to kolejny żart i wygląda jak challenge pijaków w strzelaniu w drzewo.
Jazda rowerem po całym terenie jest lepsza niż właściwe latanie.
Model latania jest paskudny, mało responsywny, z zerową przyjemnością rozgrywki. Hitboxy samolotów są dziwne, odpala się animacja zderzenie z innym samolotem mimo, że jeszcze dzieliła je odległość.
Nie uratowało latającej rozgrywki nawet dodanie (nie wiem po co) efektu bullet time i x-ray, w trakcie gdy trafimy krytycznie przeciwnika. Zresztą przy całej tej kaszanie nie rozumiem tego ściągania z War Thundera bo i tak tej grze nie pomogło by nic poza generalnym przebudowaniem całej rozgrywki.
Graficznie jest słabiutko jak na 2018 rok i UE4, assety dają po oczach, graficznie przypomina to bardziej pierwszego IŁ-2 Sturmovik niż gre wydana w 2018 ( a szczerze to IŁ-2 wygląda lepiej, o działaniu gry nie wspominam, bo ten żart nie powinien być nawet porównywany do czegoś dobrego). Zastanawia mnie tylko jakim cudem screeny w sklepie Steam są takie ładne i trailery efekciarsko ładne jak WarThunder, natomiast sama gra wygląda jak kasztan gdzie ktoś zapomniał popracować nad shaderami i realizmem grafiki i żeby posklejane assety miały jakiś wizualny sens.
Wisienka na torcie to polisz-inglisz dubbing. Tu już daje taką żenadą jakie jakościowo dialogi ktoś dopuścił do wydania, że głowa pęka. Uszy bolą jak się słucha monologów narratora i co niektórych innych bohaterów tego dzieła. W połączeniu z mierną rozgrywką to czynnik, który ostatecznie odpycha od tego niedokończonego ulepa.
Zakładam, że to było robione na szybko aby wydać na fali filmu o Dywizjonie 303 i wyszło jak wyszło.
Znamienny i chyba najważniejszy fakt wpływający na crapowatość tego bubla i że nikt tego nigdy nie dopracował jest, że za wydawcą Movie Games SA, i firmą developerską AtomicJelly kryje się największy moloch rodzimego gamingu PlayWay SA. Czyli wydajemy grę na szybko robimy hype jeszcze przez krótki okres aby słupki sprzedaży osiągnęły planowany na ten projekt pułap, a później cisza i koniec. Zaczyna się nowy projekt gdzie zostają przerzucone siły i stara gra zostaje porzucona w stanie zepsutym jakim była zwykle jeszcze w trakcie Early Accessu.

I was so excited about this game as I'm an older player who's Father was in the war!
Sadly the trailers and art are misleading. After 21 minutes in game I'm still finding my way around an airbase having to talk to different NPC's and upgrade my plane. I'm bored already! If I wanted to seek out and buy a potion off Gandalf the Wizard I'd have bought an RPG game! I want to grab my wingman Ginger, fly up into the blue yonder over good old Blighty, seek out that damn Hun and send the German swine plummeting to earth screaming in a ball of flames all in the name of peace!!
DEV'S take the hint,...at least give us the option to skip the BS and jump straight into the cockpit and play the game like your videos show!

Когда прибыли на базу, то чувствовали себя потерянными. Так много месяцев без настоящего дома. Так много месяцев без проявления уважения для нас. Дни тяжёлых и изнурительных тренировок в Демблине казались уже лишь сладким сном. Интересная штука – эта жизнь. Узнал, что присоединят к 303-й Эскадрильи и ожидал увидеть пару знакомых лиц. Все рассчитывали, что будет шанс продолжить традицию бывших подразделений. И с более современными машинами, знали, что на этот раз действительно есть шанс на триумф…
Но всему помешало управление – оно кардинально неудобное для полётов и уничтожило общее впечатление. Его никак нельзя настроить и все механики в ангаре просто разводят руками – мол, тренируйся, а там уже собьют, и перестанешь нам капать на мозги.
Ещё одно странное ощущение – вражеские и союзные самолеты могут вести противостояние за границами карты, а твой пилот НЕТ – это словно все пошли играть в соседний двор, а тебя не позвали… Я захожу в игры не для того, чтобы плакать
Бортовые стрелки – асы, которых набирают из снайперов? Один такой смельчак может за мгновенье превратить в решето даже самый-самый передовой прототип. Эх…
На велосипеде кататься понравилось больше, чем за штурвалом истребителя.

В целом поиграть на безрыбьё лётных игр сойдёт, только шедевра тут ждать не стоит. Игра вышла в 2018м и до сих пор кривая. Поддержки игрового пульта нет, русский перевод тоже не исправляется, графика не оптимизируется. Играть приходится только на минималках, притом особых красот в игре по кадрам на странице нет.

Можно немного поболтаться по базе, что-то потыкать необязательное и обязательное. Управление с клавомыши такое себе и после управления на игропульте в Ace combat как-то тяжеловато, но можно.

Есть реалистичный режим из кабины и есть аркадный от третьего лица. Есть достижения и карточки с облачным сохранением. В остальном на любителя. Можно позависать, но даже разрабы и издатели с 2018-го не торопятся доводить игру до ума. У них много таких кривоватых, но местами любопытных игр. Очень грустно от такого подхода.

Solid middle-ground recommendation here. Story-wise, there's some inconsistencies (like one level the intro splash screen talks about "finally being able to fly out over the English Channel" and then the entire level you are clearly over land). The game tosses these somewhat annoying little scavenger hunt type quests at you in between levels (like walk around the air base and collect mushrooms, although these are typically optional). There's a shooting-range minigame at the airbase that's also really strangely set up, like you have a Lee-Enfield rifle that you literally cannot control unless you somehow manage to get a high enough score to improve your skill level (thankfully, also optional). The air combat itself is challenging and fun. You can choose between a more arcade-like mode with follower camera view or you can fly from within the cockpit. YOU NEED A JOYSTICK FOR THIS GAME unless you want to tinker around with something like x360ce. There's no native controller support and the keyboard-mouse controls are awkward and difficult. The game is older so don't expect anything impressive for the graphics. Overall enjoyable game; I'd give it a 3 out of 5.

Gra za 2 piwa i to uczciwa cena. (Kupiłem na przecenie do 11zł) Można zagrać ale ma niedociągnięcia bo co chcieliście za 10 zł???. Gra powinna być ważna dla Polaków i mieć duży budżet by została dobrze zrobiona. Za małe pieniądze dostajemy grę dostateczną, 6/10. Niezły symulator bazy dywizjonu i średni symulator lotu.
ZALETY: niska cena, naprawiasz swój samolot po misjach, aktywności poboczne w bazie, interakcje z postaciami prawdziwych bohaterów II wojny, historia, slow-motion gdy zestrzelisz wroga, modele samolotów

Cool game. It is clear that the devs have put alot of work into it. Its a fun game to chill and play. It often goes on sale down to $5 so it is worth the price. Going into it I didn't expect much as it is from a small indie team but it fell fluid and polished thus I ended up really enjoying it.

Don't go into it expecting what it isn't. It isn't a triple A game but that doesn't matter. It is still fun and enjoyable. The shooting mechanics take a while to get the hang of but I love the camera that tracks your bullets into the enemy fighters.
I haven't yet finished the story but I will definitely return to finish this game

Un título que por el año de salida en relación a su narrativa, diseño técnico y jugabilidad, no alcanza a cumplir con los estándares, resultando en un juego propio de la primer década de los 2000.

[h1]•HISTORIA[/h1]
Situados el la piel de un piloto polaco, exiliado de su nación por la invasión alemana del '39, nos unimos a la Royal Air Force (RAF) para ayudar a los británicos a defenderse, pero mas que nada para obtener revancha contra las fuerzas alemanas. Los combates, personajes, asi como algunas cartas y/o conversaciones dicen estar ambientadas en hechos verídicos. Hasta aqui todo bien, el problema es cómo se cuenta esa historia.
Antes y al terminar cada mision, aprovecharan la pantalla de carga para darnos un breve resumen narrado desde la perspectiva de nuestro piloto de que es lo que haremos u ocurre, y el porque nos encontramos en dicha misión. El resto del recurso narrativo es malo, y es que el juego se ira contando por decenas de cartas y diarios esparcidos por la base aérea, pero que en su mayoría no aportan historia real, sino meras anotaciones personales de pilotos u otras personas. Asimismo, las conversaciones nada fluidas y toscas que nos dará la opción de tener con otros pilotos también nos contaran poca cosa de los hechos y serán mayormente conversaciones superfluas. Todo esto y más, hace que comprender la historia sea algo tedioso, aunque también he de tener en cuenta que está basado en hechos de publico conocimiento.

[h1]•GRAFICOS, FISICA Y SONIDO[/h1]
Gráficamente es decente, pero no pasa de ahí. Sus detalles, polígonos, incluso los efectos e iluminación son muy pobres para la época, pero nuevamente repito, aceptables, y su estética recuerda mucho a juegos bélicos de la primera década del 2000. Los muñecos usados como npc (en el aeródromo) tienen poca o nula vida y movimiento y son poco creíbles, tanto que no se puede interactuar de ninguna forma, salvo con aquellos que están esperando que busquemos su conversación.
Las físicas, por otra parte son bastante buenas durante los vuelos, pero mediocres en tierra, aunque en este caso importa nada. Para aclarar las físicas, he de recurrir a las mecánicas que el juego emplea, así que dejare los detalles para dicho punto y cerrare aquí diciendo que están bastante bien.
El sonido es malo. Voces sobreactuadas, con acentos y tonos forzados y de desenvoltura poco creíble. Sonidos básicos en tierra, genéricos y repetitivos. Ahora, en el aire, que es el real corazón del juego, es relativamente decente, pero tiende a fallar mucho en cuanto a distancias, pudiendo oir a pocos metros el estruendo de la caída a tierra de un avión pese a quizás estar a 3 km de dicho impacto, algo que quita mucho realismo. El sonido de los disparos de terceros también tiene ese defecto, pero menos evidente. El sonido del motor y disparos podría decirse que es decente. Lo molesto son las conversaciones de radio que, en algunos casos no tiene el efecto de distorsión propia de cualquier radio y por otros momentos si, y que dichas conversaciones suelen ser frases repetitivas durante los combates.

[h1]•MECANICAS Y JUGABILIDAD[/h1]
El juego se compone en 2 partes. El aeródromo, donde se nos presenta los personajes con los que no podremos empatizar nada, puesto que la interacción es pésima y la narrativa muy vacía, como antes dije. Este aeródromo es el dichoso "mundo abierto" y muy vacío, siendo grande en vano. Allí estaran los personajes, decenas de escritos para leer esparcidos por doquier y los items de las misiones secundarias que, ya que las menciono, les diré que se trata del clásico "buscar cosas". Literalmente nos hará recorrer toda la base solo buscando setas o botellas, justificándolo con inyectar moral al escuadrón (cosa que no parece ser un parámetro real), y permitiéndonos conseguir cartas coleccionables que aportan la historia de los pilotos dentro del menú "extras". Entre misiones pasaremos mucho tiempo recorriendo el aeródromo en bicicleta con el objetivo de completar dichas misiones secundarias y buscar todas las charlas con los personajes. Sin embargo, estar en tierra tiene un único punto excelente, y es que de a poco desbloquearemos mejoras para el avión y, a modo simulador básico, podremos abrir el compartimiento de armas y poner a elección cañones, municiones, rieles y hasta configurar la distancia del punto de intersección de los disparos, ajustando a gusto la capacidad ofensiva de manera didáctica y entretenida y, del mismo modo podremos hacerlo con el motor y aspa, siempre manteniendo un equilibrio de estadísticas.
En cuanto al vuelo existen 2 modos: “Realista” (cabina adentro y controles de simulador) y “Arcade” (vista exterior y controles fáciles)
Las misiones son repetitivas, simples, pero entretenidas. En todas interceptaremos cazas y/o bombarderos alemanes que se dirigen a Inglaterra y debemos evitarlo.
Ahora mencionare las mecánicas que mejor describen las físicas del juego: Durante el vuelo experimentaremos la inercia, teniendo que regular muy bien la velocidad con antelación para no estrellarnos ni pasar de largo a los enemigos. Disminución de velocidad y potencia durante ascensos, entrando en pérdida y cayendo durante un breve lapso sin control, lo cual se siente bastante real. También se siente la pérdida cuando perdemos sustentación, por ejemplo al estar girados de lado. Y el efecto barrena, que entorpece los mandos si no reducimos la velocidad del picado.
Otros detalles interesantes son el control de la temperatura del motor y presión de aceite que, de recalentarse o excederse, se apagara por un breve momento, pudiendo resultar fatal, y eso es algo que aporta realismo. También podemos ahogar el motor si lo sobrealimentamos, así como provocar que se apague por estar mucho tiempo con el avión invertido. Nuestro piloto podrá sufrir pérdida de visión leve cuando hacemos maniobras que generen mucha presión por fuerza G, aunque nunca perderá el conocimiento.
La configuración del avión en tierra se hará sentir mucho durante los combates, y es algo muy bueno.
La munición se ira acabando y se hará evidente, debiendo recargarla (en vuelo) lo cual te deja unos segundos sin ofensiva, haciendo que cada disparo cuente sin propiciar el derroche de munición, incentivando las ráfagas cortas y precisas, lo cual es excelente.
Cuando causas daño destructivo a un enemigo, a veces (según la configuración elegida en menú) se mostrara una killcam con rayos X que te mostrara cual fue el impacto que causo dicha baja, pudiendo ser en motor, compartimiento de munición, piloto o combustible, y es algo interesante, pero recomiendo reducirla mucho, porque si no lo verán con cada kill.
Los daños sufridos por el avión se harán sentir, como por ejemplo, si el ala izquierda es dañada, el avión se inclinara sutil pero constantemente hacia ese lado, lo cual aumenta mucho la inmersión y el cuidado de no sufrir daños en vuelo. Sin embargo, aquí hay un gran desperdicio y es que al permitir ver alrededor dentro y fuera de la cabina, nunca veras daños en las alas, ni tampoco sirven de indicadores los relojes del tablero, asi que, por mas realista que sea, tu avión nunca mostrara un rasguño y siempre tendrás un HUD, en reemplazo del nada funcional tablero, que entorpece la inmersión.
Detalle no menor, nunca podremos aterrizar ni despegar nuestro avión, siempre apareciendo ya en vuelo, quitando muchísima inmersión.
La IA en enemigos es mala. Te dispararan si es que les queda fácil, y poco o nada hacen de maniobras evasivas. Además, muchos tienden a estrellarse si están volando muy bajo. Esto convierte las colisiones en algo más peligroso que los enemigos.

En resumen, calificando el general del juego, diría que el 35% es digno, lo cual es volar y configurar el avión, y el 65% restante es tedioso e innecesario. Por esto, pese a que me divertí volando, no puedo darle una buena calificación.

Too much 'messing about' on the ground... I bought an 'air combat' game.. because I like 'air combat'. Not spending time 'riding a bicycle'.. to go and 'talk' to pilots, and mechanics, and search for 'notes'.. that are nothing more than 'historical commentary' about the Battle of Britain. I've read enough books, and seen enough documentaries in my time on this planet. I want a game .. to .. play.. My personal opinion, the designers should have followed the 'War Thunder' approach.. time in workshop to repair and upgrade.. based on performance in the air. Then fly a mission, come back, repair...upgrade... go and fly again... So the graphics are nice... overall... if you really want this one.. wait for it to be on 'sale'....

Игра вышла в 2018 году, а проблем много.
Плюсы +:
1. Игра сделана на реальных событиях той эскадрилий и игра рассказывает о событиях той войны в Великобритании.
2. В игре есть записки, и читая эти записки вы можете узнать какие там были коды ( не путайте коды с читами и т.д. ) или обман с морковью и т.д.
3. В игре есть Тир, стреляя по мишеням можно прокачивать свой навык стрельбы ( это касается только тира, а не стрельбу из самолёта ) и повышая свой навык стрельбы вы будете стрелять точнее, и стреляя в мишень вы можете набить определённые очки и открыть улучшения для самолёта.
4. Можно собирать грибы, да звучит как то странно, но в игре можно собирать грибы, это так скажем если вам надоело летать, то можете пособирать грибы, ( Иногда вам может выпасть миссия на базе по сбору грибов для команды, это чисто как для поднятия боевого духа или типа того, но я так и не понял для чего, и так-же может выпасть миссия по поиску вина, не бойтесь, на карте будут отмечены места. )
5. Можно улучшать свой самолёт.
Минусы -:
1. Конченное управление, управляя мышью твой пилот буд-то бы пьяный и не может нормально довернуть или же управляя клавишами твой пилот не сможет поворачивать самолёт когда ты управляешь мышью, не знаю почему, но его заклинивает на секунды 2-3, так что при игре лучше играть мышью, только при необходимости используйте кнопки.
2. Нету границ для НПС, иногда может случиться так что враги как и союзники могут вылететь за карту и воевать там, а ты нет, ты будешь ждать пока твои союзники собьют самолёты противника или же наоборот или пока не вернуться на поле где ты сможешь с ними драться, потому-что когда ты подлетишь к краю границы, то твой пилот возьмёт на себя управление и вернут тебя на поле битвы, где битвы кстати да нету.
3. Это так чисто придирка ( если вас это не будет беспокоить, то за минус это можете не считать ), когда едешь на велосипеде, то при остановке ты тормозишь сразу, а не плавно, я когда в первый раз на нём поехал, то я даже и не понял почему я так быстро остановился.
4. Прицел тут странный, ты вроде прицелился по кружку, но пули всё равно почему-то летят мимо.
5. НПС. Когда наступает воздушный бой, то как и вражеский и союзный нпс, будут с собой махаться чуть-ли не всю воздушную битву, пока они пытаются друг друга уничтожить, ты в этот момент покромсал всю группу люфтваффе.
6. Бомбардировщики или же бортовые стрелки, стреляют лучше чем истребители, нет серьёзно пока на тебя сядет самолёт врага, ты его сможешь быстренько перекрутить и тот даже выстрела на тебя не сделает и ты его собьёшь, а бомбардировщик наоборот, ты сел ему на хвост, а он тебе в щи даст не хилую порцию свинца и это я говорю про один бомбардировщик, а если их много будет, то лучше лететь вместе с НПС на них, так как половина прицелиться на них, а не на вас ( Если кто то скажет что бортовые стрелки в реальной жизни могли легко сбить самолёт противника, то я вас огорчу, бортовые стрелки нужны для того что бы отпугнуть вражеский истребитель, а не на наоборот, да бортовой стрелок может сбить вражеский истребитель, но это очень сложно )

Good idea with clear passion for the history, but the game falls flat due to stiff controls, amateurish presentation and a lack of clear direction.
Gameplay wise it feels like a list of "wouldn't this be a cool thing to have" with care being put into quantity of mechanics, rather than depth. (E.g you have a firing range in the corner of the map that is supposed to increase you accuracy in flying levels, I haven't noticed a difference in my playthrough.)

An another thing is that this game is only in English, which wouldn't be a problem, if not for the fact that the Polish to English translation is horrible, voice actors were given a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ hand by forcing them to speak English, rather than their native language, and the text seems to follow Polish grammatical rules but the text itself is in English, resulting in sentences that are difficult to read, and sound pretty cringey.
I honestly think that it would've been better to have the VA's talk in Polish and have the text be in English (with a better translation), kinda like how most eastern games do it, at least then I wouldn't be melting into my seat from the dialog.

Overall, I can tell that the developers cared to tell 303 squadorn's story and I'm glad they tried, but the final product is not very good, no idea if its from the lack of budget or talent in the studio, but the point is that the game is not great; however it is the only game (that I know of) that even tries to tell the story of 303.

If you still want to buy it, wait for a sale.

Almost 150 Poles flew for the RAF during the Battle of Britain, which makes it the largest contribution of foreign personnel from that period. The most famous of these Polish units was the 303rd Tadeusz Kościuszko Squadron of Warsaw, the deadliest of the Allied fighter formations defending the UK, whose pilots became the subject of books, films, documentaries, a board game, a browser game, and now a video game. Sadly, unlike the skilled aviators of the Varsovian 303rd, the game dedicated to them is unsatisfactory – though not altogether terrible.

Though released in 2018, the graphics of [i]303 Squadron: Battle of Britain[/i] look about 12 years older than that or worse. Fortunately, the planes look nice and some detail has gone into the mechanic simulator sections for modifying your fighters. The gameplay is alright, but there are much better flying simulators as well as arcade dogfighting titles out there, and controller support is only partial. Moreover, some missions will glitch out on you, as if they were not already frustrating enough with the lack of variety in objectives. When it works it can be quite fun, especially if you are into WW2 aerial combat, but it simply is not engaging enough.

In general, this feels quite lazy and inadequate. At least they tackled the history with utmost respect. However, this actually affects the narrative negatively. As the developers from Atomic Jelly studio focus on characters that really existed (Jan Zumbach, Witold Urbanowicz, Josef František, John A. Kent, etc.), they are limited by what they can portray. There could have been a much more interesting and personal story told here, one of vengeful veterans who lost everything; fighting against overwhelming forces of the enemy who considered them literally subhuman, they fled so that they could live to keep fighting against Nazi Germany in other armies. At first treated with suspicion and conceit by their British allies, who initially disregarded their experience and could not understand their culture, eventually the Poles formed unbreakable bonds of friendship and brotherhood with the English, Canadian, and Czechoslovak men they flew with.

A story that follows the underdog as he narrowly escapes extermination, continues experiencing alienation abroad, and lets out all his resentful fury in successful devil-may-care flights against the Luftwaffe elite in daytime while drowning his sorrows in copious amounts of vodka at night as he remembers the loved ones he lost back home. There are seeds of this in the game, when the personality of its characters sometimes shines through, but for the most part they are just robotic exposition devices and walking history lessons. Readable notes left around the base add some more backstory, yet this also typically takes the form of textbook facts as opposed to the more personal touch that this game badly needs.

Fortunately, the protagonist Zumbach is voiced pretty well, but for some strange reason all the other primary characters – mostly Poles who should speak with Eastern European accents – are voiced by British actors who did not even try to play the role, they just speak RP! It causes even decently written scenes to sound absurd. Why not just make the Brits speak British English and the Poles (along with their Czech friend) with Slavic accents as they should? At least the rest of the audio design is acceptable, the sound effects are quite good and the music is actually great thanks to composer Paweł Błaszczak of [i]Wiedźmin[/i] (The Witcher) soundtrack fame.

Overall, you get a fairly adequate amount of content here for a not so highly priced product: over 6 hour long campaign with 51 achievements and a custom flight mode. It is a shame then that most of this content is passable or worse. All those insipid intermissions of walking/cycling around RAF Northolt could have been used to develop the characters more. Instead of talking about loss and partying to forget it all for a moment, let us see Josef and Jan living life to its fullest when they knew each next assignment could be their last. Why tell us about the tensions between various groups or the love affairs of refugees when it could all be shown?

In the end it feels like wasted potential. If you are a diehard fan of WW2-era warplanes then you will get some enjoyment out of this, but for any others who want to learn more about the UK’s most effective foreign guardians I would recommend the Polish-British film [i]Hurricane[/i] (known as [i]Mission of Honor[/i] in the US) from 2018 or indeed any of the myriad of historical sources written about them.

I hope you enjoy the tutorial mission, because there is simply no way to proceed past it. The game asks you to open the pilot cards menu, but you can open it as many times as you want, the objective will never complete. Looking at solutions online, this bug has been reported since the game was in Early Access but there is no workaround. A shame.

If you would like a walking simulator where you can walk around a British RAF airfield and look around the glorious Spitfires and Hurricanes, then this is the perfect game for you. Also it's kind of cool that whenever you want to change something on your plane you have to physically dismantle that part of the plane and mount it with the upgrade or the change you want.

If you would want a game in which you can fly around in a WW2 air battle situation, then you will hate this game. The flight model is absolutely unusable, like you move your mouse a little bit and your plane almost does not move at all, then you move your mouse just a little bit more, and the plane turns like there's no tomorrow, and then you try to fix what you have just done and it all just becomes worse and worse. Also the AI frequently just flies into hills for no reason and kills itself. For those reasons this game is pretty much unplayable for me. I also tried playing it with a plane controller, and it was also pretty unusable for the 10 minutes i tried it (because i could not be bothered to waste my time more with something so bad). If you try to compare this game's flight model and aiming model with War Thunder's for example, the difference is so significant that there's no comparison (War Thunder may have many, many flaws, but it's flight model is pretty good, even if it's in an arcady sort of way, but still a bit realistic). Also i have no problems in games like DCS for example, so it's not that i am incompetent or something like that, it's just that the flight model and the aiming model in this game is almost completely unusable.

Otherwise for a walking simulator in an UK RAF airfield it's pretty good, and if you would like it for that reason only then i would recommend it.

A to jest słaby gniot w którym można jeździć rowerem po lotrnisku. Ale już samo latanie daje efekt latania workiem na kartofle po pustej stodole.
Gra ma wielki potencjał, ale człowieczek którym się kieruje nie może wyjść przez otwarte drzwi na lotnisko, aby polatać samolotem, tylko musi gadać, gadać z postaciami.
