Really simple, really chill, and really fun. Perfect for playing while listening to a podcast or watching youtube videos on a second monitor. Only gripe I have is that I wish there was some sort of mini-map for the sake of collecting the purple coins, maybe make it something you can purchase as a perk. Still, highly recommend it if you want something relaxing yet engaging!

At the time of posting this there hasnt been any updates in around a year so i doubt there will be any QOL or content updates going forward.
Hopefully they add further progression into the game like bosses, more characters, extra abilities or different maps but i doubt they will as It seems like a simple mobile game. Takes around an hour to unlock all of the characters but after that its just grinding weapon levels which can get quiet repetitive
IMO I would recommend this to someone to when its on sale as it feels more like a mobile / steam deck game to play when you are on a train, working out, or travelling somewhere.
Though basic in execution and a bit on the grindy side, Zombieville 3D is a total homage to it's mobile predecessor. I do wish there were more to it, but for the price, it's hard to argue.
This game was one of my favorites on my phone as a kid. I personally think its a great buy for the $10 price tag, and its a fun game to achievement hunt in. However the complaints you see are valid. Melee weapons are very overpowered, and it can be repetitive at times, but for the price and ability to run co op games, the good outweighs the bad in my opinion. Also the music slaps. 10/10
Really great game with many hours of potential fun (a little over 9). I don't know how I spent 9 hours on the game. I have a job. Still really great tho. 10/10 for people with jobs (and girl).

It's honestly not a terrible game, just not worth the price I'd say. Even at the sale price of $6.49, I'm not sure it's worth it. It's very grindy, so once you've played for a few hours, you've played the entire game.
I think where this game shines is its visuals, but the game lacks in overall features and balancing. Gameplay leans very heavily onto the side of melee weapons, which is a bummer since nearly half of the available perks have nothing to do with melee. The way in which the zombies spawn is also a bit rough as well. If you're on the move, you could end up having a zombie spawn right on top of you, which was quite a hassle when it came to one of the achievements.
I doubt it'll happen, but additional perks to vary gameplay would be neat. Maybe an everchanging location of a trait-rolling shop would be fantastic to try and round out the gunplay so things aren't melee reliant would be neat too. I'm not sure, the game feels very barebones. Like they built a beautiful house, but entirely forgot to furnish it or pay any mind to the landscaping. I'd say if you're gonna get this game, wait for it to go on sale at the very least.

Zombieville USA 3D is my favorite zombie shooting game. Simple, fast, and super addictive — you just jump in, blast zombies, grab loot, and keep moving.
The controls are tight, the action never stops, and every level feels fun. It’s perfect for quick sessions or long play-throughs.
If you love shooting zombies, this one’s a must-play.

Game is fun and polished but it really feels like it needs a little bit more meat on its bones. If this were like an early access or 1.0 type of release where it seemed like the developer was going add more stuff, I'd easily recommend it. But there's no indication of any new content on the way, so I'd probably keep your $10 and spend it on something with a little more than 4 hours of relatively mindless fun.
This really feels like a 2010s app store game in the worst ways possible. Content is shallow, and I mean REALLY shallow. Kill zombies, earn cash, unlock new survivors and weapons/upgrades, that's it. There's no microtransactions, which is great, but not including them is the bare minimum. And to charge $10 for this while Vampire Survivors offers more content and DLC for a starting price of $4.99 is down right ludicrous. This should be a free download at best, nothing more.

Coming from someone who wasted many hours on the original Zombieville USA games back in the day, I was extremely excited to hear there was a new game coming out. Unfortunately I can't recommend this one though due to its lack of content.
Yes, maybe "Games as a Service" games have spoiled us over the years, but there is also no excuse to release what feels like an unfinished product. The dev has shown little to no interest in updating or expanding the game.
The nostalgia wears off quickly and all you're left with is extremely repetitive gameplay with no goal other than to grind cash and upgrade your weapons.
As a long time fan I have to say; I'm happy to see that the IP is still alive, but at the same time I'm also very disappointed. Sucks to say but I feel the old mobile games had (and still hold) more value.

Super chill, calm, relaxing game to play when you’re trying to cool off from other games, really fun with friends, really wish they’d update it more and add more things, hopefully they do to keep the game refreshing.
good zumbie game
This game captures the New Grounds era so well. I miss it. Games like these are
few and far between if not non-existent now. NOTHING is locked beyond a toxic paywall, every upgrade, every character, every perk, every weapon, all included in the initial purchase. No FOMO BS and no Battle Pass grind that takes years off your life for something you think is kinda cool.
The co-op is stupid fun, and crazy good. Buy it. Play it solo or with friends.
