I am more stemming the tide than writing a proper review since I am still only about 14 hours into the game, but I absolutely love that this thing makes me have a bit of a learning process to otherwise familiar mechanics, and it strongly reminds me of how Hundred Line also made me feel like it was having me do unusual choices to progress.
The setting, the little reveals toward some arcing plot, the monokuma, the theming of what the characters represent, I love all of that.
So I am giving this a thumbs up now, while people are still complaining. If you like the kinds of things I described, then don't listen to the complaining.

取っつき辛いシステムで死にやすいが、シガバネ（デスボーナス）を得たり拠点のレベルを上げることで緩和していく。
それでも初見殺しな仕掛けだったり、難解な謎解きには苦労させられた。

I was attracted by this game´s beautiful graphics, thinking it will be a dungeon crawling RPG experience. Instead, i got a visual novel, with typical anime like boring, shallow, shounen-grade dialogues.
really disliked this game. its twists are contrived and just bizarre. gameplay and combat just aren't fun. the ending is kinda cool though. i'm not saying it's a complete waste of time, but i wouldn't try and convince a fried to play it.
Zanki Zero es un juego de Spike Chunsoft y como es normal en esta compañia este juego tiene una buena historia con lo que parece un giro de guion interesante, todo eso explorando como siempre la psicologia humana.
Lo mejor de este juego aparte de su historia, son sus fondos y sus personajes, todos a su manera acaban cayendote bien y cada uno tiene su historia que te hace conectar mas con ellos, dentro de lo bueno tambien estan los puzzles de cada capitulo. Lo malo, una progresion que se siente casi nula debido a 3 principales causas, la falta de recursos, el RNG de esos mismos recursos y la falta de experiencia, estos tres factores hacen que el juego se haga cuesta arriba y el sistema de combate tampoco ayuda por simplemente lo basico que es, es un sistema de combate la mayoria de veces aburrido y absolutamente repetitivo que yo personalmente creo que seria mucho mejor si lo cambiasen a un sistema por turnos.
Por que la reseña es positiva y no negativa? Por que este juego tiene un selector que te hace poder disfrutar de lo que mas me gusta del juego, los puzzles y la historia.

Created by some of the same people behind Danganronpa, it has that same sense of mystery, dark humor, and moral discomfort — but with its own unique twist: humanity has ended, and you play as the clones who might be its last survivors.
Story and Concept
The story begins after the end of the world. The only remaining humans — eight people — live on a crumbling island and learn that they’re not quite human anymore. They’re clones, and they age, die, and get reborn again and again through a mysterious machine called the “Extend TV.”
Each character represents one of the Seven Deadly Sins (plus one extra), and every chapter focuses on their personal trauma and secrets. It’s heavy stuff — murder, guilt, abuse, obsession — but it’s written in a way that’s strangely human and often moving.
What makes it stand out is the tone: one moment you’re exploring emotional memories and moral questions, and the next you’re watching a parody game show hosted by two bizarre cartoon mascots explaining how to survive the apocalypse. It’s darkly funny and uncomfortably real, all at once.
Gameplay
At its core, Zanki Zero is a first-person dungeon crawler — similar to Etrian Odyssey or Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey — but it adds survival and life-cycle mechanics that make it unlike anything else.
Your team needs food, water, rest, and equipment. They age rapidly — children, adults, and elderly versions of each character play differently. When a clone dies, you can “rebirth” them with stronger stats based on what you’ve accomplished. Death isn’t failure — it’s part of progress.
Combat is real-time but grid-based. You move in four directions, time your attacks, and manage stamina. It feels a bit clunky at first, but it becomes fun once you get used to juggling hunger, health, and aging.
The survival elements add tension — resources are limited, and exploring too far without planning can lead to disaster. It’s challenging in a satisfying way, though it can get repetitive in longer sessions.
Presentation
The visuals are a mix of 3D exploration and stylish 2D portraits, similar to Danganronpa but more grounded. The character art is expressive and distinct, and the environments — ruined cities, underwater tunnels, and abandoned malls — feel hauntingly beautiful.
The music is excellent. It blends melancholic piano tracks with eerie ambient pieces and cheerful, fake-TV jingles that make the contrast between comedy and tragedy hit even harder. The Japanese and English voice acting are both strong, adding a lot of emotion to key scenes.

As a horror game, this is an exceptionally well-crafted work.
Zanki Zero might look like an anime-style survival RPG, but don’t be fooled—it’s one of the most quietly horrifying games I’ve ever played.
The MCs is weak, the enemies are strong, and battles are always tense, making every encounter crucial. The stages are gloomy and damp, with poor lighting making it impossible to see what's in front of you. Yet, the eerie sound of footsteps echoes from somewhere, giving you the constant feeling that "there's something around that corner." The background music resembles ambient noise and is far too eerie. The monsters are grotesque and eerie, the story depicts the ugliness of humanity, the plot is completely hopeless, and the concept of death is so tenuous it destroys all dignity until the very end. At first glance, it doesn't look like a horror game, but it's truly terrifying. The cute character designs seem to add to the eerie atmosphere. Since bases are essentially safe zones, I was impressed by the calm atmosphere. However, some stages are outdoors, and even on sunny days, they are eerie, overturning the assumption that "if it's bright, it's not scary."
The game system has a unique design, but is unlike anything else in the game, making it very rewarding. The fact that the game is played from a first-person perspective also adds to the sense of fear. The difficulty level can be adjusted quite flexibly, from difficulty level 1, where almost no enemies appear, to difficulty level 5, where every single game is a life-or-death battle, allowing for a wide range of enjoyment. The element of expanding your base through exploration is often implemented in other games, but it was a particularly enjoyable element in this game.
It's by no means a bad game. I found it to be even creepier than Silent Hill, Resident Evil, or Forbidden Siren, which are generally defined as scary games. Personally, I find that most horror games are more entertaining than scary, and no matter how cleverly designed they are to make me feel horrified, I often find myself in a state of mental space where I'm thinking about how stylishly I can kill an enemy with a metal pipe, or how coolly I can land a headshot, or how I can humiliate the enemy with a perfect escape, even in a game where running away is the only option. This game was so well-made as a horror game that I even hesitated to start it up and venture into a new area. If there's a flaw, it's that it took me 80 hours to complete one playthrough, and I don't feel like playing it again.
Perhaps because the gameplay itself takes too long and each part needs to be progressed slowly, it is not well suited to live game commentary, one of the ways modern people enjoy games. Because it is rarely streamed, it has not been discovered by new customers (and games that are so terrifying that people hesitate to play them are rarely even chosen as subject matter for streaming). Released quite some time ago, it has become somewhat forgotten in modern times, but this game is one of those gems that shines in the dark with its horrifying quality. I highly recommend it as one of the most horrifying horror games of all time.

Really nice visuals, great atmosphere, and an interesting story, but unfortunately the gameplay is pretty weak — it feels like a failed attempt to mix a DRPG with survival mechanics.
As someone who likes the first-person dungeon crawler genre, I definitely recommend this. Nothing is missable, the atmosphere hits just right and exploration feels great. I personally liked the story and its characters, too.
However, combat feels clunky, puzzles are sometimes very confusing and there isn't much quality of life on the micro-management side of things. Especially item management can be hell if you enjoy hoarding.
100% achievement completion boils down to grinding all different types of deaths with all characters, which is a very grindy (yet min-max-able) chore.

何度も生き返るというシステムが面白そうと思って買ってみたこのゲーム。ただ変に細かいサバイバルがあるらしい。内容は便意・好き嫌いありの食事・ストレスというもの。ただイージーモードなら発生しくいらしい。今回はイージーモードでやってみた。すると、アクションも超イージーで、スキルのレベル上げしなくてもどんなボスも一撃で倒せる。そもそも変に細かいサバイバル的な問題はあまり発生しないどころか、一切発生しなかった。また罠のダメージも皆無。基本的に死なないみたい。難易度変えていきなり、大変になっても困るので、そのままイージーモードでクリアしてしまったが、さすがにヌルゲーすぎた。いわゆる探索＆謎解き＆ストーリー楽しむというだけがしたい方のみイージーモードでよい気がした。ストーリーは面白いとは言い難いが、中途半端ではなく、まぁまぁのものと思う。移動が、マス移動なので、慣れるまでちょっと動きが酔うかも。セール時に買う分には楽しめるんじゃないかな。インパクトはダンガンロンパほどではない。

Zanki Zero is a dungeon crawler with real time combat sprinkled with light survival elements. You operate from a central hub called Garage Island, which connects to dungeons. It's a mixed bag, story is really engaging, rest of the game is downright frustrating.
Let’s talk about the difficulty settings, because… what even is this? Difficulty 1 removes all enemies, but starves you of resources, and naturally kills the vibe of the game. Meanwhile, Difficulty 5 floods the game with overtuned monsters who can one-shot your characters, even with the help of the Shigabane system and high end armour.
What's a Shigabane? It's one of the core mechanics of the game: When you die under specific conditions, they earn buffs for their future lives. Like damage resistance, extra attack power, more carry weight, or immunity to poisonous food. It's super neat, but it clashes hard against with the game's item management system.
Bosses frequently instakill you unless you have all the relevant Shigabane, and peak armour, and still you might just flop over. This leads to three unappealing options
A) Enter the boss fight with no gear, just to die and learn what Shigabanes you’ll need, then retread the whole dungeon again, and again, until you've gotten all the relevant Shigabane.
B) Attempt the boss with gear, die anyway, and try to recover your dropped items mid-fight, which is nearly impossible unless you’re carrying an extra set of gear to bonk the enemies that have repopulated the areas...
C) Attempt the boss or anything really, and then just load the auto-save if something bad happens repeatedly. Which completely undermines the whole point of the Shigabane system.
The worst offender is the penultimate dungeon, tight corridors filled with weeping angel enemies that can surround you in a heartbeat and instantly wipe your party. You isolate one and you'd think you could just sidestep in and out, jab and retreat to avoid getting hit. But nooo, enemy attacks run on an invisible gauge, not animations. If you dance in and out of their attack range, they build up their "attack gauge" and eventually punish you with a perfectly timed hit as you step in. The actual trick to combat? Stay in range to bait the attack, then retreat. Just clunky
Its certainly a tragedy that underneath all of this is a genuinely heartfelt and engaging story. You control eight dorky, likeable character who wake up on Garage island under mysterious circumstances, each having amnesia to some degree. Each dungeon explores one character's trama and past, learning to accept, heal and live with what has occurred. You want to get to the next bit of the story. But the dam gameplay keeps poking it head out, getting in the way.
Misc stuffies
Early on, you unlock an special ability to break down walls, pretty neat. Then you hit an identical wall later, and you can't use that ability, you need a special heat weapon? Next wall, hit it three times with any weapons?? Consistency has left the chat sadly :>
Hazards show up as a part of the difficulty modifiers, there is no tutorial for them, you have to figure out that you are supposed to click on them as they appear on your screen to get veggies and avoid falling rocks lol.
Base building, it starts of tense, juggling food, storage and surviving. By chapter 3, all that tension is evaporated. Food and storage is trivial, and its basically becoming more of a chore than anything.
Base building require specific items, but the game doesnt tell you where to find them. By the time you reach the penultimate dungeon you are asked with finding obscure materials and stuck asking what drops it. Take something like a sturdy boar scale as opposed to boar scale, youd assume the sturdy boar scale would drop from a boar in a later area, but thats wrong, it comes from boars in chapter 3... Or what about a generator, needed for the final upgrade for some buildings, that gotta be from later enemies, but no, its also from chapter 3, if you didnt get one your first time around, you are just stuck guessing with no clue where to get it from. Especially with the total lack of any form of encyclopedia or bestiary.
Another thing, on equipment gear you encounter something akin to (△ Child) This means it works like donkey doo on children with greatly reduced effects, which doesnt get explained either, if you have played some other JRPGs with elemental stuff you might have encountered and known, but yea, doesnt get explained.
If you decide to work on getting all the Shigabane's you encounter yet another clunky issue, if all 8 people in your group die, you gameover and have to load a save, meaning you need to do a second pass to get the same Shigabane. Which inevitably leads to only working on getting beneficial Shigabane on your combat party, which then further exposes the poor integration with the core gameplay loop by reinforcing a split between combat skilled characters and the support which has all their skill points dumped into base building, crafting and cooking.
Pro tip thoo
Build the dorm asap and bunk Yuma with a person from your main combat group. Her drop chance bonus is real, no talking about 5% ♥♥♥♥, we are talking about you getting overflowed with rare items, I slept on it :3 But you shouldn't
Zanki Zero arguably a pretty mixed bag. Story and chracters are genuienly heartfelt and unique. But its systems, combat, difficulty, resource management, they are actively fighting against the player, not in a story telling way, but in a frustrating way. If you can pup up with janky, there might be something worthwhile. But its buried under layers and layers of frustrating designs
I played it to completion. I enjoyed my time with it. I cannot recommend this game for most people.
Zanki Zero is a dungeon crawler with real time combat, comparable to Grimrock for those familiar. Like that game, there's light survival elements too, but unlike it you have a central hub to return to that is usually safe from harm unless one of two easter egg enemies spawn in (only one of those being hostile from the start). The game is structured into 8 dungeons each with its own selection of enemies, some of which ending up reskinned and re-used a few times.
If that short summary sounds appealing to you, pick it up, you'll probably have a good time. But I have issues with it.
The difficulty system is too lopsided. Either you turn it down and the enemies aren't a threat, dealing little damage and falling over to only a couple swings, or you turn it up and everything kills you in one hit making armor almost useless. Granted, the game has a gimmick where, once you die to something, you can revive at the base and gain higher defense against that enemy. However, given the sheer volume of enemies in the game and the fact you need to get all 8 characters killed on a per enemy basis, it makes it an incredibly pain in the ass to actually farm out these bonuses. Either you spend hours upon hours setting up kills and reviving yourself just so the enemies are reasonable in their damage output, or you deal with the fact you just go from 550HP in the best armor down to 0 in a single blow on any growth stage except middle aged (which gets inherent damage resistance).
Its not fun and feels like the game is trying to be too deep for its own good. If the enemies just had the damage output they do while you have the death perk from the start, it'd be an infinitely less frustrating experience.
The dungeons themselves are okay for the most part, but the penultimate one has to be the worst in the game. Tight, choky corridors mixed with teleporting enemies and enemies that can flank you from tiles you cannot walk on, alongside spawning in enemies behind you and being incredibly dark to boot. Enemy density on higher difficulties is also a problem in every dungeon, but becomes especially egregious in specifically the second dungeon of the game as well as the last three. Not only do you barely get a moment respite from the combat, I'll remind you: The enemies just oneshot you on higher difficulties, and its VERY easy to get surrounded. Its also not worth it to just take the death and run away, as your characters drop all items on the floor upon death. While they don't despawn, the effort required to fight your way back through to the point of death is absolutely not worth it when you can just reload your last autosave from the start of the floor. Still. that means replaying a good chunk of the dungeon, a chunk you'd have to replay either way due to needing to get back to your lost equipment.
Enemies are also incredibly inconsistent in their attack timing, as well as which attacks they'll go for. Some enemies can use several attacks from the same angle, and its not always set in stone which they'll use. Some are projectiles that fly straight at you, which you cannot dodge without moving to the left or right... even though these types of enemies will very often spawn in long 1-tile corridors where you CANNOT move to the side. Did I mention the enemies oneshot you?
Really, the gist of it is this: the unresponsive enemies, their damage output, the choke point layouts of the dungeons and the sheer volume of enemies swarming any given floor combine into a hot mess where the dungeon crawling in this dungeon crawler becomes an immense, unfun slog to plow through. And its a shame, because for all the faults I find with this game's dungeon crawling, I really like the story. Centered around a likeable cast of 8, it takes its time to develop this core cast and get you attached to them while slowly unravelling the mystery of the setting and drip feeding in antagonists that feel naturally woven into the plot despite your core cast supposedly being the only survivors of humanity.
Its a gripping tale about overcoming trauma, holding on steadfast to hope in hopeless situations, revenge, ego and found family, cheesy as that last one sounds. Of course its also full of anime nonsense, but given this is the studio behind Danganronpa, you have to expect at least some ridiculousness.
Even so I can't sell this game on the story alone when the gameplay is full of so many holes. While I think I've rattled on long enough, I'll briefly list some of the rest of my issues:
-The survival elements barely feel like they're there past maybe the second dungeon
-The base building is too lopsided. Early on you're fighting tooth and nail for every little bit of storage space and pulling your hair out as you can barely work with the materials the game is giving you, but once you DO have it built about halfway any semblance of challenge or friction evaporates into the aether long before you finish every building at its maximum. Speaking of...
-The drip feed of upgrade materials for the buildings leads to a frustrating game of cat and mouse where you get materials for recipes you can't craft because the station is too low level, and you can't upgrade the station because the upgrade material for it is two dungeons down the line.
-The "bonding" scenes offer no real gameplay benefit and are a total pain to get to as you have to go out of your way to complete all of them.
-The aging mechanic is poorly thought out and almost entirely able to be ignored if you're willing to just sleep to your desired age range every time.
-hey have i mentioned that on difficulties 4 and 5 the enemies just oneshot you with very little counterplay even if you're in the best armor you can get at every point in the game?
I don't have a real clever closing statement here; I saw the game through to the end because I liked the story but the gameplay left a lot to be desired and was pretty anti-fun for most of my 59 hour playtime. But Sachika cute, 10/10 would get her killed again.

Some may enjoy the convoluted systems and who is to judge. Per instance of grid based dungeon crawlers, Zanki Zero manufactures an entity that quite possibly an artificial intelligence might enjoy.
The sheer amount of grinding for loot, skill points, death buffs etc. goes to show there are extremities to what a gamer may find endurable. Manipulating of our characters ages might as well be similar to aligning of the planets, only to unlock a short story segment. Weight and inventory management as well as re-equipping everything after a death is asinine.
These are inordinate examples of clumping program structure instead of archaic game design.
Surrealistic viewpoints and creative level design bewilder and cryptic puzzles divulge the mysteries even deeper. The technological aspects transcend the reincarnation/apocalyptic themes through the flashback story that twists and surprises it's inhuman nature aiming to justify the horror elements with dignified shock value. It is Spike Chunsoft horror ala visual novel, spread segmented wide apart by dutiful grind. The real time combat, zombified and mutated, dances like Grimrock with target specific damage and charges up for Team hits.
Got to love the ambition and premiere gameplay, although monotonous, the graphics are bright and everything checks including the difficulty options. I will complete the story and see through to it on a respectable difficulty setting, just not too soon. This game can wear on an individual especially the caretaking of each member, bathroom breaks...really...
I couldn't bring myself to finish it. The combat is clunky, the micromanagement is not fun, and I'm not invested in most of the characters.
I finished an LP online to check out the rest of the plot and I'm glad I didn't continue with the game - the plot writing also left me feeling very disappointed.
Hard pass.

A wonderful odyssey that more people should experience. Even if you're not a huge dungeon crawler / survival-esque gameplay fan there's plenty to enjoy here; the story is full of the twists and turns you'd expect from Spike Chunsoft (who you might probably know from Danganronpa), the characters are all well fleshed-out and even with such a varied cast, by the end none of them felt remotely one-dimensional. It's important to note a big CW for a lot of hard topics, but at least in my opinion those topics were handled pretty well.

ゲーム部分の不評が目立ち買い控えていたのですが、ジャンルがダンジョンクロウルであると知り、購入しました。
ダンジョンRPGとアクションを混ぜたようなシステムが楽しい。
難易度Ⅲ程度ならば便意やストレスなどに煩わされることはほぼなく、必要な管理は空腹度くらいで見た目ほど管理は大変ではありませんでした。毎回死んでしまった時にアイテムを回収し、装備をし直すのが少し面倒なくらいで。
何より自分はダンジョンRPGが大好きだったのでゲーム部分含めて大変満足出来ました。
ダンジョン探索が好きという方にはゲームシステム含めて手放しでおすすめできます。
В общем и целом мне нравятся игры от Spike Chunsoft, да в них постоянно сюжетная мешанина, куча бреда, теорий заговора, но они практически всегда в итоге выруливают на правильные рельсы поучительной морали. Вот и в Zanki Zero сама идея хороша, послушайте Бог создал все сущее за 7 дней, а человек уничтожил землю за один. А дальше начинаются приключения 8 выживших с их попытками не только разобраться в случившимся, но и дать человечеству очередной шанс. Благо читерская способность, навеянная маскотом овечкой помогает в этом. Как всегда герои оказываются взаимосвязаны, а скелетам в шкафу позавидует “Мужское и женское”. И все было бы круто если бы перед нами была традиционная визуальная новелла, да технически на изи мы играем именно в неё, но тогда невозможно получить все достижения игры. Поэтому приходится тусить на харде, а тут нас поджидают тугосери и стрессующие энурезники. К минусом отнесу и прогулки по подземелиям из-за кастрированной боевой системой, ну и старение не есть хорошо. Потенциал у Zanki Zero хорош, но пока доберешься до меда не хило отхватишь от пчел. Ставлю 7.0 но без рекомендации.
設定やストーリーは良いと思います。 ただ、ゲームの操作方法やひたすら床スイッチを押して扉を開けてと、いまどきのゲームではないですよね。この素材を基にちゃんと開発すればもっといいゲームになると思うだけに残念です。
a refreshing twist of a dungeon-crawler, but about two times too long
Alors les points que je trouve intéressants à aborder ;
Un visual novel avec une histoire bien ficelée comme attendu de la part de Spike Chunsoft, dans un univers post-apo / anticipation, avec du comique, du dramatique, du tragique, parfois du gore ou de l'horreur, et des personnages attaché-...euhhh attachants, avec parfois et même souvent un passé très difficile
Un gameplay action-rpg qui peut se montrer répétitif (moi j'aime bien le côté bourrin), on combat, on mange, on cherche du loot, on combat, on cherche des toilettes, on cherche du loot, on cuisine, on rentre à la base déposer le loot, créer de nouveaux bâtiments et crafter de l'équipement, on repart combattre, etc...
Une difficulté assez inégale qui pourra en rebuter plus d'un, j'explique :
-Dans le mode le plus facile il n'y a aucun ennemi, les boss meurent en un coup, pas de survie pas de loot pour la base ni l'équipement bref aucun gameplay ce que je trouve assez dommage même quand on veut surtout suivre l'histoire principale
-Alors certes on peut augmenter progressivement la difficulté sauf qu'en restant sur mode de diff 2 ou 3 non seulement il n'y a pas beaucoup d'ennemis supplémentaires mais le taux de drop pour le loot reste également ridiculement faible et on se retrouve à farm les mêmes maps en boucle
-On en vient alors à galérer sur les diff 4 et 5 où là c'est infernal : ah là oui ça déborde de loot, mais les mobs te cernent de partout tellement ils sont nombreux et rapides et il faut éviter les coups à la milliseconde près (quand on les voit arriver, parce que à la première personne le plus souvent on voit que dalle à + de 2 cases) pour ne pas se faire one shot un ou plusieurs membres de l'équipe
-L'envie de tout casser quand un de tes personnages se retrouve soudainement à porter trop de poids donc tu ne peux plus bouger et le mob en face profite du temps que tu mets dans ton inventaire pour te victimiser
-En revanche j'aime beaucoup le principe des Shigabane, qui sont les façons de mourir des personnages à découvrir pour débloquer des capacités ou bonus supplémentaires notamment la possibilité de ne pas succomber immédiatement à la dite façon de mourir
En bref un jeu à découvrir si vous appréciez les Visual Novel et les jeux de Spike Chunsoft en général, et pour son gameplay pour ceux qui aiment un bon défi où il faut se montrer actif et TRÈS réactif :)

非常にシビアでエログロ満載なストーリーと、
マス目単位で動くグリッドベースの謎解きダンジョンARPG、いわゆるダンマス系に更にサバイバル要素を付けた怪作です。
ストーリーとサバイバル要素を強化したLegend Of Grimrockみたいな感じ。
戦闘はウィザードリィとか世界樹みたいなやつじゃありません。
リアルタイムに動いて敵が正面向いたら横に移動して攻撃をさせないでこちらは横から殴るみたいなやつです。
和ゲー会社からこんなに本格的なダンマスライクが出てたんだな、と正直驚きました。
しかし後述しますがただでさえニッチなジャンルなのに面倒臭い要素（特に後述するシガバネ）を盛りすぎてしまって、
いまいち売上が伸びず隠れてしまったみたい。

・しっかりダンマスしてる
スイッチ入れ替えで扉があいたり、アイテムを置いたり投げたりで仕掛けを作動させる要素がしっかり入っています。
敵の足音を頼りに「近くに敵がいるな」というのを索敵するのも表現できてる。
・ポストアポカリプスなダンジョン
滅んでしまった世界で薄暗いビルや地下街などを探索していくのは筆舌に尽くしがたい良さがあります。
廃墟スキーにも大いに刺さると思います。
・シビアなストーリー
男女8人で繰り広げられるクローン人間を題材にしたシビアなストーリー展開はとても面白いです。
エログロもふんだんに盛られているので苦手な人はダメそう。
非常にレアなデ・・・ぽっちゃり美人ヒロインまでいるぞ！

ずるい。分かってても泣くわこんなもん！！！
・ボス戦のアクション要素が高い
ザコは順当に正方形4マスで横から殴るオーソドックスなものですが、
ボスはスキルとそれに対応する部位を持っていて、どうやって近づいて破壊するかを考えなければいけません。
★★★問題点★★★
・シガバネがあまりにも面倒臭い
私が考えるこのゲーム最大の問題点。
キャラはレベルアップでスキルポイントしか入らないのですが、成長要素として
「わざと死んで死因を獲得すると強くなる」というシガバネと呼ばれるシステムが搭載されています。
クローンなので死んでも蘇生されるため、ユニークではあるのですが、
問題は[b]何十種類もある死因を8人別個で取得しなければいけないという所[/b]。
いや百種類超えているかも・・・。一度に複数取得できることもあるので実際は多少減りますが、
ただでさえ面倒臭いのにそれを8人なんてあまりにもマゾすぎる。
こんな仕様で喜ぶのはごく一部のマゾか苦行スキーだけだと思う。
ユニーク死因は別個で管理して、汎用の死因は誰かがとったら全員に適用されるようにすればよかったのに。
しかも死んだらベースに戻らないと蘇生できない＋幼少に戻るという仕様や、
死ぬとアイテム全部その場に落とすという仕様が組み合わさって、
死ぬ前提のシステムなのに死ぬのが面倒臭いというかなり歪なシステムになってしまっています。
いくら無限に蘇生出来るからってわざと死ぬのが嫌な人だって普通に多いでしょう。テンポも損ねます。
・敵がすぐリスポーンする
日数経過がすぐ起こるのにリスポーンがかなり短い間隔で起こるので、
殲滅したフロアを攻略中に移動してみたらまた敵がいるなんてことがザラ。
難易度５でも大変だったから終盤２にしたけどそれでも多すぎる。
戦闘システムの都合上一本道に陣取られるとほぼ詰むのも相まってつらい。
・空腹とストレスと便意ゲージ
サバイバル要素としてスタミナ（空腹）とストレスと便意（MAXで漏らす）があるのはいいのですが、
ただでさえ面倒臭い要素が多いのにゲージ管理を強いるのはちょっと敬遠されても仕方がない。
STAGE3くらいからは逆にこれらが空気化するので序盤だけ悪印象を植え付けてあとはほとんど無意味になるのも良くない。
・普通に怖い
3マス先も見えない薄暗いダンジョンでゾンビっぽい敵の足音が鳴り響き、場合によっては複数出てきてヘタなホラーより怖いと思う。
・STAGE4のパズルの挙動が怪しい
ラウンジデッキの西部：[spoiler]スイッチ押しながらアイテムを投げるのが正解だが、ウサギの丸焼きを投擲したら消滅したため「投擲じゃないのか・・・」[/spoiler]と勘違いしてかなり詰まった
客船後部垂直デッキの東部：初期化処理がおかしいのか感圧板にアイテムを置いてベースに戻ったりするとスイッチオンオフが入れ替わってる。かなり厄介なのでマップ右半分からは一気に攻略するかアイテム除けておいた方がいいかも
・STAGE3ボスフロアがクソ
アロートラップ敷き詰めた場所でボス戦なんてやりとうなかった。
・STAGE7以降が意地悪すぎ
難易度５でなんとかやっていましたがそっからはちょっと無理です。
ストレスがヤバイ。２に下げたらサクサクだったけど何発か喰らったら普通に死ぬからちょうどよさそう。

面倒臭い部分も目立ちますが総合的には名作だと思います。
嫌になったら難易度１にすればヤケクソに簡単になるのでストーリーだけ追いたい人も安心。
ダンマス系が好きな人には特にオススメですが、エログロ大人向けストーリーを求めている人とかにもオススメ。
This game is great that I had to buy it on PC too. The PS4 demo had me playing for about 3 hours or less, I don't remember since then and while I was playing for that long it had me invested in the story. The game feels like one of those Japanese game you buy at the end of the console's life span that you know you will never have anything like it again. Even if you look for another game like it, it won't be the same. Coming back to this game feels like a breath of fresh air after be bombarded with games RPG maker based indie games that are all fantasy themes and boring combat with dungeon crawling through samey textures. As a streamer I wanted to show my audience other games that weren't roblox and RPG maker that you can be a more creative with making or playing and have something deep, dark and orginal.
I really tried to like this game
Unfortunately it's a tedious mess with dumb game design. Even tho I was curious about the story, the frustration makes it not worth it
The games visuals are really good, it's a massive step up from the other Spike Chunsoft 3d games. The OST is pretty decent too. But now we get into where it falls apart.
The characters are your dangan ronpa tropes dialed up further, there's maybe 2-3 of the main cast currently who don't make me want strangle them. So far I only particularly enjoy the interactions with Haruto/Zen/Ritusto because they don't act like whackos and actually consider and think about things. The rest? One's basically someones feeding kink dialed up to 100.
The main mechanic of this game involves your chars aging over the course of 13ish days to adult hood, dying being cloned and returning to childhood. This would be fine if the progression of the game wasn't tied to doorways that require all 8 chars to be alive.
Walking up a flight of stairs progresses the game by a whole day. So you have to make sure your chars are all young [kill them off on purpose, I guess, then revive?] so that you can actually progress the game. It's a wonky system I'm not entirely enjoying. Aswell as all chars being effectively the same thing, you stick all your side/base skills on 4 party members you aren't using then have 4 fighters. That's the strat for the whole game really.
Exploration doesn't have to be as clunky as it is. Grid based games don't need to be fully true to their inspiration, there's no new mechanics or anything ontop of it. I do however like that you drop items and can pick them back up.
Charging attacks don't feel good, if you google how they work you'll see a vast amount of people asking if they are bugged. You're supposed to let go of the button prior, then press it INSTANTLY on the pink mark to hit the charge. It's also inconsistent in general even when you know how it works.
Then there's the dissonance with the main story, your characters can die, but you will walk over points where that character is suddenly alive and talking for no particular reason other than they probably couldn't figure out a system to make char deaths/scenarios sync up. My Zen died of old age, and he was present for the entire story sequence involving him except the part where he had to be alive to open a door. It feels cheap.
The "conquest" videos are how you learn about each chars backgrounds, but they are forced loosely animated CGs with that cover each of the characters backstories. There are multiple per tiny shorts per dungeon (7 of them where I currently was) and they didn't really particularly do anything crazy. It almost felt like the 2nd one was trying to be "edgy" for the sake of it.
Watching 15ish vids in the span of an hour, and knowing this process is gonna repeat for the remaining 6chars has already burnt me out
Also, the TV chars range from having some genuine funny moments to being beyond unbearable.
It's also not free from that signature "creepy" vibe and it turns out they had to censor it for our release because of certains CGs featuring children.

I played enough to get a representative sample of the gameplay, then watched the rest because it wasn't worth it. Then realised watching it was hardly worth it as well, but sticked until the end because the premise was good and also Danganronpa earned Spike Chunsoft some credit. Please beware tagged spoilers below if you didn't finish the game.
Pros:
- character sprites and animations, music and voice acting, all good
- setting and plot premise, mystery setups, excellent
- character cast is diverse and colorful, worthy of the genre
- some good plot elements ([spoiler]Kurosuke was nice albeit underdeveloped, Sachika's backstory was enjoyable[/spoiler])
Cons:
- gameplay, I didn't enjoy action, rpg or puzzle elements, survival is not my thing anyway
- plot is a letdown for me, the payoffs weren't nearly as powerful as setups, some twists coming outta nowhere or going nowhere ([spoiler]"she's my sister" twist with completely no setup? Haruto smiling like a maniac for no reason at all just to mislead the player? Haruto becoming one with the killer with absolutely no consequence whatsoever?[/spoiler]), the whole thing didn't tie up as nicely as you would expect ([spoiler]most of the time you chase conquest videos which end up being completely inconsequential to the main storyline, plus connection to seven deadly sins is a stretch[/spoiler]), also the logic didn't hold up well ([spoiler]genius scientist wants to cure humankind from a "bug" with no intention of eradicating himself while being a by-the-book manifestation of the "bug" and doesn't see the contradiction? game ending on a happy note without explaining why humanity is suddenly not doomed anymore?[/spoiler])
- not enough character interactions
The puzzles are very confusing. Especially in the later half of the game. It's impossible to beat this game without guides.
Хорошая рпг-шка с прикольной историей и запоминающимися персонажами(а еще с душными игровыми лабиринтами)!
Не 10 из 10 конечно, в игре предостаточно минусов, но мне играть было весело и интересно, иногда даже сложно, так что и вам советую, как минимум попробовать :)

As a pretty big Spike Chunsoft fan, I regrettably have to say I can't recommend this one to other fans of the studio. Zanki Zero is best summed up as a blend between mystery visual novel and retro dungeon crawler RPG. The main gimmick involves your party characters rapidly aging until they die and are reborn, with their age determining and varying their playstyle from in-game day to day. It's admittedly a neat idea that hooked me in the beginning. There's also a tantalizing story to uncover in here somewhere, the typical meta "what exactly is going on here?" question that exists across all SC games, and this kept me pushing through about 3/4 of the way through the game. However, the answer is buried beneath a tedious grindfest of weird unfun game design choices and a pile of turn-offs/flaws that ultimately made me decide to put the game down after 25 hours. I'll provide my critiques as succinctly as possible, but it's gonna be a long one...
1. You move around the world by hopping along a grid, and it makes the simple act of navigation feel clunky and grating. You'll constantly bump into walls, with the characters making annoying "ow" or "hey watch out" noises every time. You can't see your surroundings well as you need to turn 90 degrees to look around. You'll get hurt in combat simply because of the unintuitive inputs you'll need to press to properly evade. It's just a really odd choice that will often frustrate the player.
2. Inventory management with limited slots and weight capacity is made in a way that feels like an intentionally annoying mini-game you are always playing, one that will often halt you from progressing as you'll need to turn back and manage it, especially after a character or two dies and drops their inventory.
3. The combat is simply unfun. Hold a button to charge, hop up to an enemy, release so everyone attacks, then back away and repeat. Every fight for the entire game, all several dozen hours, is done exactly like this. Why? Who thought this would be fun?
4. The graphics are seriously unimpressive for a 2019 game. Late PS2 era at best.
5. It's a visual novel, but does not have a speech log. Accidentally click past a line of dialogue? Either reset or you'll never know what was said.
6. The soundtrack is extremely limited--I swear they made like 4 songs for this game. They're fine musically, but it gets pretty grating hearing the same music over and over and over again for multiple different scenes and menus.
7. The characters don't feel like they have much dimension to them. You basically get the gist of everyone as soon as you meet them. A lot of the dialogue between them doesn't hold much substance either. I didn't finish the game, but I played long enough (about halfway through chapter 6) to know that likely wasn't going to change.
8. Zanki Zero's title should be ~*Trigger Warning: The Video Game*~. It feels like it's trying so hard to be super edgy, like shock value makes for a good story. Be ready for a lot of child abuse in all its forms. And on the story, 90% of story progression beats involves learning more about the abuse each individual character faced, and not the actually interesting meta-plot I care about: what's going on here. Those bits come very rarely.
9. The dungeons often require you examine everything in them as something may be important, but there might be 50 examinable objects and 48 of them will be useless filler detail that provides nothing to the world or story. Makes me feel like I'm wasting my time. Some of the puzzles are also ridiculously difficult and obtuse to work out--I resolved to just use a guide for everything about halfway through.
10. The $60 price tag is a joke for the quality of the game you're getting. I would be hard pressed to recommend trying it for even $20. If you're still interested, only get this on a significant sale.
The game hooks you in the beginning with mysteries and gimmicks, but after a while you'll likely realize it's a slog to play, and the story pacing weighed against the tedious dungeon grinding with frustrating systems feels severely unbalanced, favoring the latter. It's one of those games that makes me think "how did this get past playtesting and executive approval with no one saying 'hey guys, this isn't really fun.'" Anyways, I'll be checking a YouTube playthrough to see how it ends.
The story and characters are good. But the inventory management system is soul-crushingly awful. The simple solution would have been to add it to the main menu system where party management and skills are done. But no...
剧情来说基本是完整的，前期铺垫悬疑感很不错，但是也能感受到后半部分节奏比较赶，结局算是很好的点题了而且多少有点合理但并意料之外，但是这个结局让我这种偏悲观的人来说多少是有点悲伤不能细思考，玩法方面老式地牢玩法玩到后边多少有点腻味，难免刷刷刷，总之是可以一玩的游戏。
还不错，喜欢爬格子迷宫探索的人应该会喜欢的。以下剧透：[spoiler] 最后春人猜测的残机真相其实不正确，根据续命机器的续命界面和游戏平时的界面可以知道，活着的人才会被计入人类计数器中，因此不存在什么操纵中的角色不计入残机数量里，这里春人搞混了一个概念，那就是玩命小天兵的残机计数是把未登场的小天兵数量计算在残机数中，而操作中的小天兵不作残机计数，但是本作游戏里对于人类的残余数量不是按照这样的规则去计算的，而是按照已登场人类（即仍然活着的人类）去计算残机，换个简单点的说法就是：玩命小天兵剩余数量计算方法是未登场数量加上已登场数量，而人类残余数量直接就是按照已登场数量（活着的数量）计算，所以我说春人关于残机数量的真相的猜测是错误的。而为何结局最后出现一个男人救了幸花，这里本人有个猜测：关于人类计数器的准确性问题，人类计数器可能有一定的检测范围，因此检测范围外的人类它检测不到，这个不难理解，毕竟虽然幻萤之灾蔓延全球，但是也有深山老林之类的地方是不受现代网络侵扰的，而为何后来幸花被救后，人类计数器却一个个开始增加数量呢？应该是由于幸花身上带着的春人他们的X型钥匙带去了幻萤，所以才检测到大灾难后任然活着的人类，这并不是幸花和那个男人生孩子增加的数量，而是幸存者被检测到的数量，证明这一点的其实有一个很有力的证据，那就是这个新出现的男人，看起来就是个一年轻人，而从游戏流程中我们可以知道守医生为了完成复仇，续命了无数次，时间也过去了很多年，如果新出现的男人一直从大灾难活着到现在的话，外貌看起来绝对会是一个老头子，最起码也是个中年大叔的形象，因此可以推断，这个男人其实是新生代的人类，应该是大灾难后出生的，也因此可以推断大灾难后活下来的人类，绝对不只一个人（除主角团他们外），关于这一点博士估计也预料到了，但是他没有明言除他们之外还有可能有其他人类活着，也很符合这个博士恶劣性格的设定，虽然春人的推理过程不正确，但是却误打误撞的击中了真相 [/spoiler]

Zanki Zero is a very interesting mix of concepts and mechanics. As a Spike Chunsoft game, it has the expected visual novel style of storytelling, with a deep and mysterious plot. Eight people have awakened in a deserted island in a post-apocalyptic world, A recurring TV program tells them they are the last remains of humanity. As they explore this new and unknown world of ruins, they also come to realize they are human clones now, who can come back from the death retaining their memories, be reborn as their child selves, only to age back into adulthood and seniority within a few days, only to die and restart the cycle again. The game's chapters revolve around uncovering parts of the past of the group members, as they slowly come to learn more about what happened to the world.
The gameplay is where this game changes the most from what most are used in a Spike Chunsoft published title. The game controls in a grid-based map system, as an RPG styled game where resource and inventory management are key. Your party moves in first person across the maps, facing up against enemies who can mainly be hit at close distance, management of your space as you move is key into mastering the combat and exploration system. I will say, it took me a good amount of time to get fully adapted to it, the default controls are weird at first glance using a keyboard and mouse, you can plug in a controller but the game felt clunky with it, I picked KB&M to continue going. Once you do get the hang of the combat, it feels very rewarding.
Dying is actually a main mechanic in the game, there are countless ways to die, from different attacks of different enemies, while being affected by conditions, and so on. Depending on the way a character dies, after being "Extended", they will earn passive bonuses named "Shigabane", that will make them stronger in the future. You do drop your inventory on death, which is annoying at times, but it can be picked back up on the place you died at.
As you explore the many dungeons in the game, each has an unique way to present it's map, as well as puzzles along the way you must conquer and solve to progress, some are very clever, others confusing at times, overall most were good but there's a lack of explanation in a few instances, I had to look up guides to proceed.
I should add that this version of the game has a "Difficulty 1" setting, which pretty much removes every enemy besides bosses, though the former are defeated in 1 hit. I struggled a bit to get the full hang of the combat but I would encourage to play at the recommended Difficulty 3 setting. As you progress they allow you to amp it to 4 or 5 for more drops on items. I felt 3 was perfect for a decent challenge while playing the main story,
I tend to 100% games, but this time around I cut it short. In order to get all achievements, all possible Shigabane must be acquired, that is over 140 different ways of dying as all 8 characters. Completionists may want to rethink twice if they want to do everything in this game, as that process can be incredibly grindy, I chose not to do it for my sanity. However the game is filled with many side pieces of information that add to the world building on the long-gone world. The map gets filled as you progress through it, so empty spots on the grid that aren't surrounded by walls are clues for you to check a possible missed detail, I did enjoy going for these and discovering all the secrets.
Overall this game was an incredibly unique experience, I had no expectation or knowledge of it prior, besides the basic description, and after playing it I found an interesting and unique story, charming characters, and a very unique battle system to go along with the exploration. This game seems to be a bit on the unknown side but I can say it can almost stand to the side of some of the other popular titles published by Spike Chunsoft, if you are a fan of their games, I recommend you try this one out.

Just a plain bad game.
I played this when it came out on PS4 and it was so stressful in a fun way.
I loved it but I was too much of a wimp to finish the game. Now I'm back though to see if I'm at least a bit less of a wimp.
Honestly even though I know what's going to happen, going through dark corridors is still frightening and I can't wait to finally finish the dang game.
Boring and linear, predictable chapter based arcs and gameplay that gets old very fast. Just play Blue Reflection Second Light, does almost the exact same thing but way better.
Came back to this after leaving it 5 years ago due to certain... events that unfold within the game.
Coming back to it, forgetting much of the extraneous stuff, I found myself remembering the core story and gameplay, it had made an impression I suppose, but I often found the gameplay while fun, was held back by the story at times and likewise when I wanted to just focus on the story the game would get in the way because I had to get better gear or make more food etc. Thankfully if your like me and you ran out of patience for this game long ago they have a "story difficulty" which makes no random spawns and the enemies that do spawn for story reasons are one shot-able. Theres no making the puzzles easier but google will help you with those.
Ultimately the game on its own is pretty enjoyable and the story has a wonderful series of twists and turns and you could lose yourself for hours in either, I recommend it but do have to say it's like 2 game in one that I'd almost wish to separate...
I'm gonna preface this by saying just flat out this game sucks.
I enjoyed the start and setup of characters, the dungeon crawling gameplay mixed with survival elements was interesting to me as well. But around The 3rd or 4th dungeon stuff just got increasingly stupid. The writers wanna be edgy and make ♥♥♥♥♥♥ jokes and I don't find them funny. Constant fart, body odor, fat, and sex jokes, usually accompanies with stuff like characters backstories showing them as children being abused/raped/etc by adults, and I just about had it when in one characters dungeon after finding out his moms boyfriend is a pedo lusting for him everyone treated him like a joke and even blamed him for his mom being ♥♥♥♥♥♥ to him.
I'll add that I do enjoy Danganronpa but absolutely abhor the monokubs and Ultra Despair Girls, and this game took what I hated about V3 and UDG and turned it up to 11. If you like the monokubs and UDGs disgusting ♥♥♥♥ then this game is perfect for you! Not for me though.
I really wanted to like this game, the gameplay was fun, and the characters were interesting when they weren't being terrible individuals. But it's just like walking on glass for hours for the last few hours of the game to be leading to something interesting, only for the ending to absolutely suck. I get the message they wanted, but I was unsatisfied with it as a whole.
I'd only recommend this for the dungeon crawler gameplay but the last few dungeons get frustrating and some of the puzzles just straight up suck to play added with the survival/aging mechanic that you gotta manage. I don't mind managing that mechanic most the time, but when theres a ton of stairs that progress time if you dont know where you're going youll find yourself going back to revive from old age deaths. To be honest, I'd recommend just playing something like Shin Megami Tensei Strange Journey(and early SMT games in general), the Etrian Odyssey series, Undernauts or Labyrinth of Refrain/Galleria instead.

I feel immediately turned off by how stupid the first arc is, with an absolutely blameless character crying on and on about his "sin." Considering the tumblr fanfic seven deadly sins theming, I strongly feel that it's not going to get any better. The writing in this game just activates my cringe bile reflex, and I wish I had hit the saturation point before I got over two hours so I could refund it.
The gameplay is nothing great either. The UI is a mess. The skill trees are one long list that you have to scroll down. They don't let you adjust the options until an hour into the game and even then there are no visual options except turning off screen shake. The game starts windowed and the only way to adjust to fullscreen is to press alt + enter.
It was cheap. I gave it a go. It's a disgusting experience, and I am not talking about the supposed mature themes.

Interesting way of survival game.
Is the game fun? It can be.
Is the game a challenge? For sure (unless you're on easy mode).
Can I recommend it? No.
This game jumps headfirst into some VERY dark and disturbing topics, things that I was honestly not prepped for going in. I've played around 12 hours at this point, and that's over the course of weeks as I play a bit, get uncomfortable, and have to put it down for a week or so. The topics covered range from just general drama all the way up to and including [spoiler]SA/SH/child abuse[/spoiler].
If you are going into this game knowing what you're going into, I think it could be enjoyable if it's what you're looking for. I did not have that, so it's really hard for me to recommend.
Reason why plenty people dislike systems e.g. the fighting system is that they punched WAAAAY TOO MUCH unique sh!t in the game.

Inventory/storage management is hell in this game, since there is another aspect you have to take care of: Everyone has a different amount of weight they can carry, depending on the character and the age they're going through. Fk, everyone even has different stats.
[b] Add this to that and even more: [/b] Result is a completely confusing system which kills the fun. Especially the annoying riddles which are even difficult to solve with guides (I'm looking at you, last stage).
I admit, that I didn't even bother playing any difficulty than the lowest after the third stage. Taking care of SO MUCH stuff ruined the gameplay for me, so I tried to focus on the story.
The plot is great. It is really unique and creative. I usually dislike [spoiler] open endings [/spoiler], but that one was okay.
There are a lot of people discussing what happened in the end, since it's a niche-game and there aren't that many active players who theorize about it.
It was really sad to see, that [spoiler] characters died day by day, depending when they reached the age, where they're certainly dead. [/spoiler].
The game stated already once that [spoiler] it requires a minimum of 1,000 people alive to repopulate. [/spoiler]
But I'm pretty sure I read a note, which said, that [spoiler] Sachika could reproduce (even their kids with each other), since they gain resistance to inbreeding depression. [/spoiler]
So they possibility that they're actually able to [spoiler] repopulate the world in the end.. requirement would be that.. well. Everyone is in the same family circle. They probably left that open for a sequel. I don't think we'll see one in any near future.
No puedo recomendar este juego, sobre todo con el precio que tiene. La historia y personajes se sienten como un Danganronpa de mercadillo y al contrario que este no consigue integrarlo en su estilo de manera suficientemente consistente, se siente forzado en su intento, y la estructura de la historia es demasiado esquemática para motivarte y los twists no fluyen bien y pueden ser muy genéricos a pesar de intentar sorprenderte. También tiene mucho shock value-en-clave-de-humor-irónico para pillarte por sorpresa pero no funciona nunca. No es insultante, y a veces puedes sentir simpatía en momentos o escena, pero es simplemente bastante olvidable.
Pero lo peor del juego es la jugabilidad. Es un juego en primera persona por casillas en tiempo real en el que atacas a enemigos que se mueven por ella de manera ortopédica, y es tan aburrido como suena, pronto pillas las limitaciones de movimiento de la IA y la abusas para vencer a enemigos sin que te hagan daño (te mueves un lado, atacas, espera a que se posicione delante tuya y le atacas antes de que te mire, repetir). Quiere ser de supervivencia pero es tan simple y sin apenas presión de recursos que no causa problema, y el sistema de las edades y los buffs permanentes según la manera que tus personajes mueran se siente bastante irrelevante o incluso de grinding. Y como port a PC es bastante chungo en tiempos de carga y sobrecalentamiento.
Por la historia aún podría decir "tal vez si está barato si es tu rollo?" pero la jugabilidad mata las posibilidades para mí.

何度死んでも生まれ変わる残機∞の8人が主人公のダンジョンサバイバルRPG。ストーリーは胸糞で衝撃的で感動して、とにかく良かったです。
ゲームシステムは良い点も悪い点もあり、好みによって評価がかなり分かれると思いました。難易度Ⅰにすればサクサク攻略できるので、ストーリだけ気になる人はⅠ推奨。
8人のうち7人は生まれてから急激に成長して寿命13日で死に、次の世代は前世の死に方に耐性を持って生まれます。色んなパターンで死にまくって成長するという一風変わったシステムです。
ダンジョン探索は1マスずつ動いてマップを解放していくダンジョンクロウル形式。マップが徐々に広がっていく楽しさがある一方で、十字キーやLB/RBを何百回も押すのが面倒でした。
体力・スタミナに加えストレス・便意と管理するパラメータが4つあります。少し多いと感じました。
戦闘は1対1に持ち込んで斜めに位置取りすれば簡単に倒せるので、立ち回りが分かると作業ゲーになります。
操作方法が独特ですが慣れれば特に問題なく、アイテム整理や自動装備など、システム周りは楽です。
以下は確実に悪い点。修正してほしいです。
①敵の配置がランダムなので運が悪いとマップ移動のロード時にハメられて死ぬ。
②ボス前の「8人全員が生きていないと開かない扉」が要らない。敵に倒されて死んだりダンジョン移動の日数経過で老衰するので、システムと非常に相性が悪い。
③素材の確保が面倒。素材の入手場所がわからない。数日経過しないと素材が湧かない。拠点の拡張に必要な素材の一部がレアドロで高難易度にしないと手に入らない。

also, kind of random but as I was replaying Danganronpa V3 the other day I found a cute Zanki Zero easter egg
目前玩到第七章，我实在玩不下去了，因为第七章二楼地图里全是173，玩尼玛
其实背景设定及各种系统设定是很有意思的，初始小岛的风景也很棒，非常对我胃口，我玩前三章的时候给的是好评
但是玩着玩着这游戏让我越来越无语，开始各种放飞（剧情前后无联系，怪物设定超出世界观)……（3、4涉及大量剧透吐槽，不想被剧透，想要自己体验的玩家慎看）
1.逆天键位导致操作难受就不谈了，比较恶心的是这游戏存档点极少，只有家里及部分boss房前会有存档点，每次上下楼会自动存档，且自动存档的数量只有一个
我是个喜欢sl不死+仓鼠+探索的玩家，而这个游戏就是希望你死，虽然略感不适，但可以接受这种玩法。
2.第四章遇到个恶性bug，原本已经解除的落穴陷阱又生效了，并且无法通过再次触发机关解除陷阱，初见以为死档了。
（解决办法：第四章遇到提示说要带上绳子往下跳那里，一定要跳下去。如果缩卵了选择折返的话，第二次来的时候他会重置左边门内的一个机关，导致落穴陷阱无法关闭。需要你到右侧门内，把机关上的物品拿走然后直接跳进洞，然后回到这里按顺序重新触发一遍机关，这个陷阱才能正常关闭。）
3.剧情方面及人物刻画是我不推荐的主要原因

首先你开幕cg里以及游戏介绍里冠名的什么七宗罪和原罪，看上去很高大上，给你一个很高的期待，然后故事里角色所谓的罪不仅和扣上的罪名没有半毛钱关系，甚至有些角色我觉得完全无罪
而且我不知道是不是日本社会的道德认同和中国的不一样的原因？我觉得剧情里很多主角完全无罪，他却一直在那耿耿于怀。同情女警被迫“大义灭亲”的卖花女被认为在扰乱女警决定，需要感到抱歉，还会被威胁；而那个一直咄咄逼人，挑逗女警赶快动手的猴子却被认为是傲娇、被夸最懂她的人，我真要吐了。还有第五章的剧情末尾，医生突然发病指责已经失去童年记忆的sm男，说他应该为他最爱当小三还虐待他的母亲的死而感到罪恶感，尽管他那会儿才7岁，而且他什么也没做。我完全不理解，别说代入，我玩的时候甚至有很强的剥离感，对这几个角色也可以说是没有太多好感。
虽然不太能接受，但是这都是小问题，至少他主线剧情的坑埋得不错，很有悬念感，很吸引我。
然后第六章到颜值担当、还标榜色欲的卖花女的时候，我还兴致勃勃的觉得应该要到剧情巅峰了，期盼着她有啥剧情，结果雀食是到巅峰了，但是是烂到巅峰了。
先说卖花女的剧情，又短又烂，从她开始就很明显的看出来制作组编不出故事了，想要草草糊弄完事了写结尾了。前面五个人物都有五六段“狗血淋头”的童年叙事视频，到她那儿就两段，而且是最烂大街的日式校园霸凌+乱搞；人家的boss战都是挑战自己的心魔，而心魔是失败的复制人。她的boss战是校园怪谈里会打电话摇人的石像，这是个什么设计？石像也有生命了，变复制人了？抛去卖花女不谈，第六章还有个抽象明线，就是卖花女和sm男两个人突然同时觉醒了记忆：主编是杀了断肢的凶手。然后把矛盾摆上台面后，导致大家都猜忌这个主编。结果到了团灭的时候，你他妈反应过来说，欸我记错凶手了，凶手不是他，他是拯救我的人，骗子其实是医生，呜呜我不应该仅凭记忆猜忌他怀疑他。我乐了，你就给我看这个？
然后这个医生也幽默，一被质问就直接爆了，没错，我就是幕后黑手，他一爆，之前剧情烘托的神乎其神的什么世界毁灭的幕后黑手之类的，全拉到裤裆里了。我也不知道他作为个学校校医，一不是凶手，二一直和大家关系都不错，明明可以继续伪装下去的，干嘛一戳就爆。理解为编剧编不下去了，经费不够了，想要辞职转行了，必须马上给剧情收尾，除此之外想不到其他理由。
4.再说下这个迷宫和敌人设计
迷宫设计整体还行，除了感觉设计者精神分裂，或者说是多个人设计的。因为它的难度不是循序渐进的，而是一会复杂困难，一会儿简单。
一二章是线性地图，逛完一遍就能打boss了，boss难度很简单，新手关。
第三四章突然要你来回折返了。一堆门是关着的，要你在乌漆嘛黑的环境里，跟掉san的怪（我也不知道这个拟态怪是个什么原理，一个假人头下面长着一条腿，这是什么生命体变异才能变成这种怪物？）以及会从黑暗中冲出来尝试将你送去异次元的全险半挂大卡车（野猪）周旋，寻找机关。来回折返的路上还会贴心的给你怪刷脸，直接给你堵门杀。ok，理解为新手关过了，给我上强度了。难度递增。（ps:来回折返会使你的角色寿命被消耗，而boss房门前需要八人存活。这是另外一个恶心的点，因为游戏里不会告诉你快速通过这一层其实是不会结算时间消耗的。所以打这一章的时候分给我一个老头，我愣是为了这个老头，把我队里的其他6个人给活活耗死。你问我为什么他们的年龄会不统一？我也想问。每次通完一个章节后，无论你的角色是否存活，寿命都会被随机打乱）
然后第五章
第五章的地图选在温泉岛，不仅阳光普照，而且完全没有难度，一共4个普通场景+1个boss场景，甚至不需要你完全探索完。你只要在岛上飞奔，甚至可以一个怪不杀，就能把剧情全部触发完，4个场景我我只逛了2个，就能去打boss了。
第六章开始，连特么游戏机制都变了。第六章开始，他会在你附近，甚至就在你身边刷怪。你以为你把这一层都清光了，他转眼就在你背后刷个怪，你问为啥，那当然是给第七章铺垫。
第七章屎中之屎。他也知道受限于这个游戏的操作模式，这样子下去，根本没有难度。所以设计师聪明的换了个途径，他开始给你搞恐怖游戏了。他设计了个小花生。这个怪你看着他时，他不会移动，但你要是走到他的攻击范围内，他就会立马攻击你。他反应很快，你一动他就出手，所以打这个怪基本上是必定要掉血的。你要是转身开run，或者想速通，嘿嘿，他就直接瞬移捅你ass。你说那我把所有怪清干净，再前进不就行了？你再看看第六章新增了什么设计？他他妈的就是会在你屁股或者附近刷怪，然后瞬移过来捅你ass。如果说第三章，从黑暗中冲出来的全险半挂还能说是给这游戏加点刺激，你可以玩的更谨慎点，或者干脆背图过。这第七章的小花生真是纯÷，单纯为了搞你而搞你。我玩到这个直接按耐不住来差评。
5.除了日版原版之外，其他所有版本放出来都是阉割的，阉割了幼年共枕前的cg，且没有补丁。原因是为了避免恋童因素。我个人没这个癖好，但我就是看不惯你小日本又要设计这个系统搞擦边，然后又假模假样搞政治正确，属于是当婊子还要立牌坊，这不是纯÷犯贱么，我也不知道这b游戏有什么好阉割的，辣眼睛的妖娆老头共枕场面他倒是没和谐掉。
而且这游戏还有搞笑的点，这游戏主打一个死亡，所以探索中角色死亡无法避免，但是角色死亡后，剧情还会正常推进，他还会出来发言。人尸体在说话好歹还有个尸体，你这骨灰都不剩了的角色还能发言啊？

It's fun, but good lord is it clunky. Menus are time-consuming to slog through, re cloning multiple characters at a time is a slog also. Getting items for upgrading buildings feels a bit too RNG-reliant, also. But it's also probably one of the most unique game-play experiences I've ever had, flawed as it may be. The story is good too and the character designs are great. The OST is nice as well. I think I'd recommend it, but only if you're prepared for the clunkiness.
このゲームは、人類滅亡まで残残機8人という設定のノンストップ残残機サバイバルRPGです。プレイヤーは、8人のクローン人間を操作して、廃墟と呼ばれるダンジョンに隠されたエクステンドマシンを完成させることが目的です。しかし、廃墟には危険な動物やクリーチャーが潜んでおり十分な準備なしに踏み込めば生きて帰ることはできません。しかしこの世界では、死亡するとシガバネボーナスという仕組みで蘇生することができます。
ゲームのストーリーは、文明が崩壊した世界でサバイバル生活を送るというもの。また、8人のキャラクターはそれぞれ個性的でで魅力的であり、彼らの関係性や成長も見どころです。特に主人公が変わるる複数主人公制も斬新であり、プレイヤーに選択肢や自由度を与えてくれます。
戦闘システムは、攻撃サポートやチャージ攻撃などの機能を搭載しており、戦闘を自由に進めていきます。攻撃サポートは攻撃ボタンを連続して押すだけでアクティブキャラクターが次々と攻撃してくれるシステムです。他に強力な「チャージ攻撃」も可能で、このシステムは、敵の動きや位置に応じて最適なタイミングで使うことが重要です。また、生物の中には特定の部位にチャージ攻撃を当てることで「部位位位破壊」ができるものもいるので注意が必要です。
総評として、このゲームは戦闘システムだけでなくサバイバルシステムも充実しておりプレイヤーに多彩な選択肢を与えています。またストーリーも複数主人公制など新鮮さと深みを持っており、私は興味深い展開に引き込まれてしまいました。ただし難易度も高く敵対者も多く存在するため注意深くプレイする必要があります。またグラフィックもシンプルだったり古風だったりする場面もあるため美感に欠けるかもしれません。しかしそれらの欠点はこのゲームの個性的な雰囲気や世界観を支える要素でもあると言えるでしょう。
Bought this game on a heavy discount during the Winter Sale and glad I did not pay full price for it. It's basically a dungeon crawler with many Danganronpa elements, but overall not nearly as good as the Danganronpa series. Characters aren't as interesting, story isn't as good, but still mysterious and motivating enough to play through to the end. It tries to do a lot mechanic-wise, but not very well. I finished the game on the lowest difficulty (no random encounters, bosses die in one hit) - would not have completed it otherwise. Give it a try to see something different from the Danganronpa team, but keep your expectations low.
Incredible mystery adventure story, both in concept and in execution.
Now I got depression just like when I played Danganronpa. 10/10
I recommend this game if you like games like Etrian Odyssey and Legends of Grimrock. First-person, grid-based, real-time combat dungeon crawling with survival elements. Throw Spike Chunsoft's style of brutal/dramatic story-telling in there and you've got an interesting game. Yep, mmhmm.
