The game is just as disappointing as current WWE TV shows, if not worse. Even though I purchased it through Humble Bundle, I still don't think it's worth the cost, especially with so much content locked behind season passes and add-ons. WWE really seems focused on making money above all else!
useless paltform game not working
This game is so broken and glitchy. It won't even allow me to use a custom female superstar that I created in my creations in the Myrise story as the main character.
I can create and import my male character then choose my female character as a tag partner. But I cannot choose my female character as the main character to import.
It doesn't allow that option. I spent hours creating this character just to be the main character in Myrise and I don't even have the option to use her as a main character that 's some BS right there!
I can create a new female lead within Myrise but then I can't use her in the rest of the game.

As a long-time WWE fan, I’m honestly having a blast with WWE 2K25.
The gameplay just feels right this year. Matches are smoother, hits feel more impactful, and the whole flow in the ring is way more natural than before. Pulling off combos, reversals, and finishers actually feels satisfying instead of clunky. It’s easily one of the best-playing WWE games in recent years. 
There’s also just so much to do. But for me personally, Universe Mode is where I spend most of my time. Booking my own shows, creating rivalries, and basically running WWE my way? Yeah, that never gets old.
MyRise is decent, but I feel like the story could still use some improvement. It’s not bad, just not as engaging as it could be, especially when you compare it to how good the gameplay itself is.
Pros:
• Super fun and improved in-ring gameplay
• Tons of modes and content (you won’t run out anytime soon)
• Universe Mode is addictive if you like creating your own storylines
• Huge roster with legends and current superstars
• Overall feels like a complete wrestling package 
Cons:
• MyRise story could be better / more engaging
• Some modes feel a bit grindy or push microtransactions
• UI and menus can be kinda messy
• Not a massive leap if you played last year’s game

If you’re a WWE fan like me, this is an easy pick. It’s not perfect, but the gameplay and Universe Mode alone make it worth it.

Gameplay is pretty terrible compared to 2K24. This game feels more stiff, and the kick out bar is even harder to kick out for whatever reason. The gameplay just sucks the energy out of you and does not feel enjoyable. 2K24 is more faster paced and more smoother compared to whatever this is. I only have this much hours because I use this game to edit, but it's nothing compared to the 2,000+ hours I have on 2K24.

У гру за 2600 не додали автозбереження, але додали багато реслерів, дуже багато, правда треба буде дуже багато гріндити, щоб їх отримати. Був фанатом Брока Леснера? Грінди, щоб його розблокувати. Можливо у дитинстві ти з відкритим ротом дивився на якогось олд скул реслера - купи DLC. Багато багів, багато вилітів, багато обмежень, але гру рятує одне геніальне рішення - ком'юніті центр. Додавання цього функціоналу врятувало враження від гри, тому що чудові гравці створили дублі заблокованих персонажів, що робить досвід від гри більш приємним.

WWE 2k25 is a solid addition to the series that fits right into my gaming collection, even if I've only sunk 2.7 hours into it so far. I don't care much about grinding it out, but it's fun enough for quick matches and feels like a natural evolution from past entries without major shakeups.
First Impressions
Right out of the gate, the game nails that larger-than-life WWE vibe with improved graphics, crowd animations, and entrance pyro that pops on PC. My short playtime was mostly MyGM mode and a few exhibition matches—controls are responsive, and the roster's stacked with current stars like Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, and legends like The Rock. It's casual-friendly if you're just dipping in like me, no huge time commitment needed.

WWE2K25 answers many critiques of the last MyRise campaigns and solves them outright, but in the same breath, it creates a lot of new complaints that I hope are address in 26.
I pretty much exclusively play these games, for the most ironic thing in the world, their story. The MyRise series is a legendary romp through WWE non-canon storylines that at times, really do rival the hype of the actual show. The 2K series never breaks kayfabe, even when it breaks the fourth wall. Overall, the gameplay is mostly the same and the new additions feel minimal or outright unnecessary and not-engaging. But truthfully, they have such little impact on the matches, that the new mechanics are pretty much irrelevant and not worth mentioning.
As always, this game is full of hundreds of hours of content in just single player alone and still has the greatest character creator in gaming.
But MyRise this time around is a main event finisher with a lot of botches on the way.
My critique of the last MyRise, despite it being arguably the best in 2K's history, was that it was too long and extremely poor in its pacing. And a lot of its dynamic elements were simply not there, the side content being practically absolutely mandatory. 25's 2K is very aware of the critiques, going so far into metahumour that it makes fun of the last game's male protagonist's hideous shirt. In fact, there is an entire fourth wall breaking moment where the player can recruit their own past 2K custom character cast.
It is honestly pretty incredible and the humour is spot on. It is so rare to have a game where the devs talk to you directly and indirectly at the same time. 2K really pleads its case and thesis of them simply doing their best, but always being willing to get better, do better and deliver more. They heard the critiques of the hideous casual ware of the last games and gave us the blessing to wear our own clothes. At the same time, 2K uses its previous protagonist characters to answer critique truthfully and honestly, it is hard not to agree with the devs. The games provide a lot of modes and customization options to play the game exactly as you want it, and MyRise was always tailored to its storylines.
The game itself even suggests that players are at times, very unsure of what they are asking for and that is entirely right. So I am frankly glad the developers knew what to listen to and what to discard as merely baseless criticism or just effortless complaining about a mostly linear storymode.
That being said, this MyRise absolved itself of many past sins, but indulged in some new ones. It feels like you only play as your protagonists for 60% of the game. Now, there are multiple routes, some very dynamic choices and entirely new lanes of content to explore, but its still frustrating when you spend hours hand crafting two wrestlers for this campaign and then you end up doing 4-5 to sometimes 6! 6! Consecutive cameo matches as an established, existing superstar. If these mini arcs only gave us one match, it would be fine.
In retrospect, I think people were complaining there was too many original character-focused gameplay in the last MyRise and I sort of get that. The MyRise of 24, for both campaigns, is oppressively, overly long at 30 some hours for a single playthrough of each. Both those campaigns overstayed their welcome by about 40% of their content. But above all, people seemed to loathe the persona focus (which this game rightfully states that its more realistic that wrestlers experiment with personas and I agree), but what made that work was the fact it was still our character at the end of the day we were playing. Some people have residual trauma from 23's THE LOCK, who, yes, is in the game.
2K is aware that despite everything, there is a tremendous amount of nostalgia around their characters and even their mistakes. And honestly, this MyRise's sins are very forgivable.
The last game had us playing a lot as Psycho Sally, who is either absolutely loved by the fanbase or hated beyond all reason to the point she didn't even cameo here. But I think the solution was not to replace such circumstantial character arcs with establish superstar dramas, even though the nostalgia is surely there for some, they simply overstay their welcome. It genuinely feels like the entire middle third of this game is nostalgic fan fiction instead of the self insert empowerment fan fic drama we play MyRise for.
In the last MyRise, I desperately wanted to be able to betray our player character in favour of redeeming her via switching to Psycho Sally. Thankfully, the entire concept of 25 is this. Creating two allied characters for the Men's Division and Women's Division and then seeing how they come together and eventually come apart.
The first third starts off so strong and damn near perfect, but it concludes the Mutiny arc too quickly in the final third. And yes, the concept of this year's MyRise is not just the inter-gender competitions (although it is really great they brought this into the games and its a fundamental asset of the MyRise campaign and overall gameplay) but a Mutiny from NXT, leading to an Invasion arc, forcing Raw and Smackdown into a United Front. Its actually really engaging stuff with a lot less BLOAT from the past MyRises, but its sadly sidelined by so much filler in the middle part.
And by the very end, the main arc concludes often on a weekday show and Wrestlemania's conclusion feels like a squash match against yourself and its not too satisfying. I know that replaying the game two more times brings us to a more proper conclusion but it is a terrible way of encouraging replayability.
So, overall, is any of it bad? Nope, it is not even a step back as much as it is just a mid-match botch and a less than stellar main event. Overall, these games are ridiculously fun and I had some genuine laughs with the meta humour, the many, many 2K game original wrestler cameos and the comedic character-route is genuinely hilarious.
Also, 24 had the worst menu soundtrack in the entire series. 25 is a tremendous front flip forward and has nothing but great song choices. Huge kudos on that.
All in all, its definitely worth playing if you happen to have it already. And the gimmick of the MyRise is certainly worth a playthrough, just maybe not three.

Infelizmente quem gosta de jogos de luta e joga em PC não tem muitas opções, principalmente pra quem gosta de algo um pouco mais "pé no chão" (boxe, UFC, Wrestling, etc.), então esse cumpre seu papel até que "bem".
Se você já tem um WWE mais antigo pra jogar, creio que não compensa comprar mais esse porque via de regra são todos quase iguais. Mas se não tem nenhum, entre os que estão disponíveis na data da minha avaliação (até onde sei são 2k24, 2k25 e 2k26), esse aqui é provavelmente a melhor opção, já que é um 2k24 melhorado e não tem aquele passe de batalha ridículo do 2k26.

The worst installment of the WWE 2K franchise.
MyRise & Showcase Mode were great. The additon of World Tour in MyFaction was very nice (However was not updated until the very end of the games life cycle). Bloodline Rules is ok I didn't really play it much.
GM Mode is the most boring mode you can ever play. I don't know how people do it... I can barely play like 1 round of PLEs before I get bored when achievement hunting.
MyFaction is as always a Microtransaction hellscape. Making you feel FoMo from not getting cool theme songs then when you spend VC to get it they make it free to get.
This Games creation suite is BROKEN. You got nothing but tears & prayers on if your CAW will save or if the game will crash while saving. I have had more issues with this game than I did WWE 2K20 [b] 2K20!! [/b]
Never buy a WWE 2K unless you are a diehard WWE fan (I've chosen this life) or a Wrestling content creator. I think 2K26 either needs to be the last WWE 2K game or have them take a year because the quality raises & drops at the same time each year

A really bad game from a really bad company with graphics reminding you of 2006, very similar to Madden or 2K. With controls that feel like a toddler is playing, and mechanics that just feel bad. An overall waste of money, and I will be refunding. Terrible. Terrible. Terrible.

It's the same game from 2K24. Every bug are still here....also a lot of the exact images, the same graphics, etc. The community creation menu crashes the entire game. A quarter of the roster is paywalled from the crazy amount of paid DLCs.

WWE 2K25 was another great entry in the restored WWE 2K series. 2025 was a great time; however, almost immediately when I booted up the game at the time of purchase, something felt a little less polished than WWE 2K24. I don’t know if it was the presentation of the main menu, the Showcase mode, the soundtrack, or something else, but I personally preferred the 2K24 Showcase and menus over 2025’s. However, 2K25 has the best wrestling gameplay.
I was truly blown away not only by the gradual damage marks, makeup removal, and other details that occurred in each match—allowing you to both feel and visually see the damage build up over the course of a match—but also by a brand-new camera option in 2K25 that allowed the player to essentially experience the game from a third-person perspective. I absolutely loved this feature. I sink about 30-ish hours or more into these titles every year, and the gameplay in this entry had me hooked, especially with the consistent support for the Steam Deck, which allowed me to play on the go.
The Showcase mode this year featured “The Bloodline,” covering many of the touchstones of the family members. Whether we were going through dream matches, vintage showcase matches, or more recent matches from The Bloodline, it was standard fare for a 2K Showcase. I personally felt that this showcase arrived a little late in terms of its relevance to the events happening in WWE in 2025, but it was still a fresh take on the mode, highlighting pieces of history in WWE.
Overall, I feel like this game plays extremely well. Like I said, there was just something about the menus or the OST that didn’t fully click for me, but that is neither here nor there. WWE 2K25 is still a great example of how the gameplay in the 2K series continues to get better and better.
