This game only delivered disappointment and frustration for me.
Metroidvania they said... it is not
Dynamic they said... it is not. The enemies are, tho, they can outrun you at every turn, dodge and jump faster than you do.
Powerful Warlocks... they don't feel powerful and *spoiler alert* they are not actually warlocks!
The graphics are gorgeous. Too bad it's the only positive thing I have to say about the game.
um jogo bem bonito e agradável de se olhar. Um dos maiores pontos positivos do título é a linda pixel art e a fluidez das pequenas animações dos personagens e do mundo ao redor. Os detalhes do bar que serve de hub world, por exemplo, são de admirar. Uma banda de aliens, The Rolling Spells, toca em cima do palco (e você pode trocar de música em troca de algumas moedas), o Barman/vendedor de itens lustra seu charmoso balcão 2D .

Да, у вас есть возможность этого избежать, как ? - он делает три столба (мелкий, средний и большой) - казалось бы, запрыгни на них и все. Нееееееееееееет, ни ♥♥♥. он их ставит как хочет, хочет сначала вылезет средний, слева от него низкий, а справа высокий, а может и вовсе - мелкий, потом высокий , а за высоким средний - ты просто не допрыгнешь, но и этого оказалось мало! - столбы мало того, что такого же цвета, как и задник на арене босса, так они еще и ставятся за окружением арены + ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ эффект затемнения при битве с боссом, то есть мало того, что столбов не видно, так они еще и ставятся в такой последовательности, что на них не запрыгнуть.
казалось бы, можно лечиться. ХА! - играл за козла, он когда использует бутылку с лечением, то не может атаковать, замедляется и что-то там еще. То есть полечился ты во время замеса, нпхватал дебаффов и сдох. Охуенная механика. Авторы - конченные олени

Слишком много багов, в коопе не поиграть из-за вылетов. Сама же игра довольно простенькая в плане механик и геймплея. На данный момент не рекомендую, игра требует ремонта.

I don't really understand all the negativity in the reviews on Steam for this game... This game is far from being half as bad as some people pretend it to be. In fact it reminded me a lot of Blades of Vengeance on the sega genesis.
Totally recommend this game even if there are some minor flaws here and there. (I read that not all characters can reach some secret areas but like always I say they're simply not trying hard enough!)

el juego es muy bueno en relación con su precio, tiene 6 personajes cada uno con habilidades distintas desbloqueables y únicas. cuanta con 3 mundos, 6 jefes distintos (dos por mundo), 3 kits coleccionables de armadura, enemigos variantes por planeta, misiones(principales y secundarias) una cantina espacial que funciona como lobby, tienda y acceso a los mundos que cuanta con una banda (que es la que toca el sountrack).
Aunque tenga todo esto, el juego cuanta con varios bugs que espero sean arreglados para hacer a la experiencia mas amena tales como:
-Cuando matas a el primer jefe, al volver a la cantina y hablar con el científico se queda trabado en press F to continue
-El modo online no te deja entrar a otras salas
-Cuando juegas en CooP aveces no te deteccta los mandos, y si te los detecta, cuando estan en selección de personaje solo una persona puede confirmar selección y a las otras no le toma
-El juego rea 6 partidas en cada slot cada una con 100% de finalizaciòn y a las cuales no se puede aceder, por lo cual se hace injugable
Conclución:
El juego esta muy divertido en solitario, pero da problemas (actualmente) cuando quieres jugar con demas personas. En caso de que quieras jugar con otros, te recomiendo la verción de switch, en la cual (aunque sea a mí) no me daba esos errores.

Просто очень скучная, однообразная игра. Надоедает за пару часов. Скучные квесты, скучные уровни, скучный лут. Короче ничего выдающегося, но пройти можно.
Warlocks 2: God Slayers - достаточно скучный пиксельный платформер, который делает закос под игры 80-90-хх годов, но проигрывает подобным играм, практически со старта. [h1][i]ЗАТРАВКА СЮЖЕТА НА КОТОРЫЙ ПЛЕВАТЬ...[/i][/h1]
Игра начинается с того, что нам дают выбрать одного из пяти персонажей, которые по виду отличаются, а по сути 4 из них владеют дальними атаками и лишь 1 ближним боем. Насколько это важно? Достаточно, ведь каких либо уклонений или перекатов нет, казалось бы логичней играть именно ближним боем чтобы идти всегда в размен, но и тут не судьба, ибо полоска хп достаточно быстро стремится к нулю. Так что же делать? Ну лично мне было проще убивать всех либо с какой-то возвышенности, либо во время прыжков… Да уж, когда мне говорят слово платформер, я, конечно же, понимаю что мне придется много прыгать… но ведь не для того, чтобы пройти волну врагов. У каждого персонажа есть свои уникальные атаки, способности… но ими перестаешь пользоваться уже после первого получаса игры, ведь наиболее правильной тактикой ведения боя - закликивания ЛКМ и отхил.
А вы знали что это еще и РПГ? Да, здесь можно обвешивать вашего героя, делая более сильным, более бронированным, более уклонистым… уклончастым... уклоняемским... ай, короче подвержен уклонению... Ага… прям два раза. Поиграв недолго с обвесами мне стало интересно, насколько тяжелее станет играть без них. И знаете что? Они абсолютно ни на что не влияют. Урон не снизился, броня, по ощущением тоже ни на что не влияет. А изучение новых способностей становится не интересным, так как кроме прикольного визуального эффекта, нет смысла их качать. Ну, и чтобы добить вас, прокачка персонажа с уровнем отсутствует. То есть, прикрутить РПГ составляющую не забыли, а вот правильно ее внедрить и чувствовать эволюцию персонажей… А… и так сойдет.
Но да ладно, сюжет начинается с того, что нашего героя заперли в очень большой клетке… потому-что… да фиг его знает для чего и вообще как им это удалось, учитывая что играем мы за колдуна. Так вот и освобождает нас тоже некий шаман, который говорит: Пс, чувак, используй очко умений чтобы открыть простой удар… Вот обожаю настолько натянутые введения в игровой процесс, без которого главный герой не может ничего сделать. Насколько же ублюдски это выглядит со стороны, настолько же глупо это прописано сценаристом, если он тут имеется. Перемещение между локациями происходят через паб, который выполнен в стиле… Паба. Да, играет вполне недурственная музыка и стилистика очень заходит, но вот серьезно? Мы просто перемещаемся с помощью телепорта с конца уровня в Паб, чтобы потом снова телепортироваться в другую локацию, которую снова нужно зачистить? И все это нужно сделать, чтобы в конце тебя кинули на босса? Банальность и скукота…
Геймплейно, игра полностью вторична. Боевая система сводится к закликиванию одной кнопки. Да, игра якобы говорит вам: “Чувак у меня куча способностей, пользуйся ими”. Но на деле, в этом просто нет нужды, так как любой враг просто затыкивается левой кнопкой мышки. Отсутствие уклонения также достаточно странное решение в данной игре, так как у игра не так уж много здоровья, а хилка идет за счет нафармленных предметов, то уничтожить вас можно достаточно быстро, особенно в более поздних этапах игры. Хотя должен признать что атмосфера достаточно неплохо держится. Интересно открывать новых врагов, просматривать биомы (да, тут несколько миров, или планет), но это все вторично, так как геймплей попросту не завлекает.
Визуально игра смотрится достойно. Пиксельная графика смотрится похвально, а анимация движения, особенно во время “катсцен” действительно шикарно. Однако все портит передний план, который мешает насладится фоном. Но это еще ничего, так как это платформы, то скалы висящие в воздухе это в порядке вещей. И это меня всегда бесит в подобных играх, так как я когда-то создавал собственный платформер и каждую “подвисшую” платформу я старался сюжетно и по геймдизайнерски объяснить интерьерными особенностями. Что же у нас тут? Скала, которая просто висит в воздухе потому-что… потому-что… так надо, че ты пристал ко мне, игрок. Да, в целом дизайн уровней очень даже неплох, а прорисовка врагов и персонажей очень даже прилично, особенно на уровне геймплейных неособенностей. Что касается музыкального и звукового сопровождения? Ну оно тут есть и слава Богу.
Плюсы и минусы прописывать не буду. Игра крайне неудачная. Все выглядит в целом очень бодро, особенно на геймплейных трейлерах, а по факту играется крайне скудно и скучно. Боссы, которые должны вселять в игрока страх и челендж, затыкиваются с одного нажатия левой кнопкой мыши. Но это если вы дойдете до него, прежде, чем умереть от скуки и скудности построения уровней. Ага, в описании написано что уровни огромные… они то может и огромные но разделены на подлокации, которые достаточно прямолинейны, несмотря на свою структуру. То есть вам не дадут уйти в бок от поставленной задачи, и смысл от “больших” локаций? Я разочарован в данной игре, и, судя по обзорам в стиме, не одному мне игра показалась крайне спорной.

Комедийная и незатейливая игра 2D в которой сюжет более менее прост и по факту присутствует. Прокачка персонажа до 20 уровня. ветки навыков и умений. Стандартные питомцы-"Фамильяры" гриб, ленивец и дракон.Проработанная графика и дизайн уровней. Мне понравилось советую к покупке!!

They coded it all messed up and it cuts all the options off even when you finally guess until you get to the options menu and try to change the resolution. Its literally unplayable.

Downloaded on laptop just to try it. Not worth 20$ at all. The game looks way better than it actually is. If you spend more than 5 dollars you are wasting your money. Just feels like someone spent a decent amount of time on the artwork and then threw everything else together after the fact. Even the 3 note music irritated me too much to get past the first level.
Kudos on the art work and the look of the game. That's it though.

Looks cool but the controls suck. All of the abilities have short range, making it nearly impossible to avoid damage. That combined with the awkward controls made it hard to play.

Do you like games where you feel weak, no matter which equipment you have or how much have you leveled up? No? Me neither.
This could be one of my favorite games, since I like pixel graphics, rpgs and platforming, but they screwed up big on this one. I tried every character and all of them are slow and weak, no matter what you do or how much you try to get stronger. Your skills will always take 3~5 hits to kill a single enemy (if you keep advancing to the maps you're supposed to be, of course), but keep in mind that you have to face multiple enemies at a time, and they will drain you life really fast.
The lack of a dash or roll feature is what makes the game unplayable for me.
You do have one skill per character that resembles as a Dash, but you will get hurt if you dash through enemy projectiles, so it's useless as an evading option.
Also, the attack speed on all characters is RIDICULOUS!
ONE attack per second, averagely. Now try to kill 5 mobs, shooting 1 attack per second, and each attack drains 1/3 health of a single mob. Can you imagine that?
It needs a serious redesign to make this an enjoyable game.
I don't recommend to anyone since it gives tons of frustration and no feeling of accomplishment at all.

However, there are a lot of flaws and bugs throughout the game which can be hard to overlook as well as the high price tag.

You are captured by a group of soldiers in a cage but are set free by some guy in a Hawaii mask, after he teaches you how to fight you teleport to The Inn. You’ll then need to help the masked guy to get into The Order of Warlocks going to different locations to help the local creatures. After you’ve been accepted into The Order you’ll find out that the arrogant gods have challenged The Order of Warlocks and well, you have to show them whose boss.
The story doesn’t really hold much of a purpose besides loosely holding all the tasks your set to complete together and to write some jokes. But then again, this game doesn’t exactly take itself very seriously and even though the main concept is killing gods, you only fight two of them. The writing tries to be funny but didn’t get more than a smile from me as it was just too upfront and stupid with some of its jokes.
[h1]🕹Gameplay[/h1]
During the course of this title, you’ll be traversing through three different worlds and numerous locations fighting enemies, defeating bosses and completing quests. However, these locations aren’t very well designed and the majority of the time you’ll feel like your in a linear maze rather than an actual part of the world. The optional paths quickly lead to dead ends and sometimes, the paths are so tight that you’ll have little to no room to manoeuvre and dodge enemy attacks. The level design could’ve been fleshed out way more with open areas to make use of your abilities, but instead what you get are a bunch of boring mazes.
But despite the maze-like level designs, the characters that you can choose are all very unique and diverse from one another. Each has their own set of skills and abilities that they can use in combat, some of them leaning more towards using magic, and some of them using melee attacks. A couple of the characters are more bizarre than others, but that just makes them stand out from the crowd and be more interesting. Though it would’ve saved me some time to see each characters skill tree before picking them.
With a diverse range of skills and buffs that you can obtain depending on which character you’ve chosen, it can lead to quite addicting and satisfying combat. Even though the enemy attacks don’t really get amplified all that much as you progress to make the game more challenging, you can mix and match abilities and buffs to make your attacks stronger. Though after I found the four skills that I liked the most I didn’t bother unlocking the others and just stuck with upgrading them to the max.
Speaking of combat, the bosses throughout the game are kinda scarce. I was expecting to be fighting a lot more challenging and badass gods rather than traversing through maze-like levels to complete quests. However when I fought a boss, they had rather simplistic and predictable move sets, but at the same time it was still rather enjoyable to defeat them. It would’ve made more sense if you were to go up against more gods that would actually put up a tough fight.
Co-op is one of the main features this game offers as well, however the community for this game is pretty much dead. So unless you have someone with you to play local co-op (fortunately I did) then you’ll more than likely be going through the entire game solo. This is rather unfortunate considering how much more enjoyable the game is when your playing with a friend or even with a random person.
Unfortunately the game doesn’t have much in terms of replay value, once you’ve completed the game with one character it’s not that enjoyable to go through it again with another. You can modify the difficulty by adding permadeath, bullet hell, glass cannon etc. to make it harder, but I didn’t really feel the need to. Playing through the game once whilst completing every side quest takes about 8 - 10 hours, so to play the game again just to see the other characters’ skills wasn’t enough to encourage me to play through this title multiple times.
[h1]🎧Music & Sound[/h1]
Simplistic soundtracks aren’t necessarily bad as long as their not overused too much, however [i]Warlocks 2: God Slayers[/i] overuses them. Considering that you’ll be exploring different locations for up to half an hour, and the fact that not many sounds make up the soundtracks, you’ll more than likely be muting the games background music for longer than you’ll be listening to it.
[h1]🎨Graphics[/h1]
Despite being a fan of pixel art in games, I found that looking at this particular game wasn’t really all that interesting or eye-catching. The environments that you can stand on blend in way too much with the background art to the point that sometimes you can’t tell the difference between what you can and can’t stand on.
[h1]💭Closing Thoughts[/h1]
[i]Warlocks 2: God Slayers[/i] is one of those games that I’d have to give a neutral rating to, on one hand you have a lot of bugs and faults with this game that are hard to look past. But on the other hand, I can’t deny that I enjoyed my time playing through this title despite everything that I had to put up with. This game definitely has a niche audience, however considering the price tag I’m gonna have to say don’t bother with this game. If it still looks interesting despite everything I’ve said then I’d recommend waiting till it goes on sale.

Nie ukrywam, że dosyć przyjemnie spędziłem czas grając w tenże tytuł...
Całkiem dobra, prosta, platformowa gra, co prawda znacznie lepiej ogrywać ją z kimś aniżeli samemu ze względu na to, że dynamika walk nie powala jakoś specjalnie i nieraz walcząc z wieloma przeciwnikami naraz staje się to po prostu monotonne i nieraz już nudne.
Lokacje są ładne, muzyka (dla mnie osobiście) raz lepsza, raz gorsza, ale to kwestia gustu.
Fabuła? Nie jest tragiczna, ale... "humor" i żarty czasami nie bawią, a są prostackie. Nie mniej jednak długość gry pozwala na zaspokojenie swoich potrzeb w tymże tytule.
Dla chcących zapoznać się z grą zachęcam do odwiedzenia mojego kanału na YT, amatorsko, ale z pasją ogrywane, nagrywane gry również z komentarzem. :)

Die Spielidee wäre witzig und würde Spass machen. Leider verliert man im Coop sehr oft die Verbindung und fällt aus irgend welchen Gründen in das Hauptmenü zurück. Lösungen waren bis jetzt auch keine zu finden.
Gute Idee, aber durch die dauernden Disconnects im Coop kaum spielbar.

Fixing it would be simple and the last post from a developer was august 2019 when they asked a bit more of patience to fix it, its feb 2020 now and it still dont work.

[h1]A Missed Coop Opportunity[/h1]
I know that negative review for this unpopular game is like a nail in a coffin but I don’t see any other option to attract developer’s attention. Fix network instability on your servers! It’s constantly crashing thus making coop experience useless. Either make an ability to host locally or fix your useless servers. Overall this game is great and I’m writing negative review with grief and sadness.
Pixel art at it’s finest. Interesting animations and humorous characters, each with unique set of animations and style. You can play as goat ridding a dwarf or socially obsessed witch who uses selfie stick as a magic wand.
Gameplay is rather basic. You have a large variety of skills but at the same time you are only limited to 4 active ones. Some characters have 10 or more skills and each skill has it’s own upgrades (2 or 3 depends on the type of skill). So, you have to think way over ahead because apparently you can’t refund them.
Music is somewhat interesting but quickly becomes repetitive. Nothing special to note.
Coop experience is a core feature of this game. It’s fun, enjoyable but for some reason broken. From the look at the community hub apparently developers will not fix it anytime soon. If you are looking for a great coop game, ignore it. This game feels like an abandon project.
The game could be much more interesting if it could be played. It is unplayable in a online coop (possibly single player too). Server crashes,disconnects, interface lags and other large of bugs disturb enjoy of gameplay. This game isn't working correctly.

Average gameplay that can be fun. But unplayable online coop with constant network disconnections. It's looks like the developers dont want players to host their own game and just force everyone to join some unstable cloud servers. For that price this is unacceptable.
Worst platformer that i played in last 5 years, retro feel is only good thing about this production, PAINFULLY repetive and pointless gameplay, that even most F2P mmorpg looks like a masterpiece with their lore. Because LORE in this game is a joke for me, i bought this game the day after it got released, but i played it too long to return. Even after months i still can remember this game as a crappy fake cashjump.
Excellent 2d Action RPG platformer exploring game. The game has various classes to choose from, each with unique skills, and lots of different items and gear to collect and use. I've been playing using the Steam Controller and it works real well. There are a lot of areas to explore and numerous enemies and bosses to fight through, with quests and side quests to complete.
I really like the retro graphics, which are very well done, with some great art, and the randomized loot. I don't have many hours on record yet, although it appears to be the type of game that I could spend many many hours on. The skill tree may appear fairly basic at first, although skills can be upgraded, and in some cases they can be upgraded to modify other skills. This adds a bit more complexity to each characters abilities.
This game reminds me a bit of the great 8-bit game, Nemesis The Warlock, although with more platforming and exploring aspects like Ghosts 'n' Goblins, sort of. Plus the ability to equip different types of armour, and weapons, to suit your chosen class, is really awesome. It's really like a really excellent 8-bit game, with more depth.
The story has good humour, and the sound track is really good too - really beautiful music in some places, with themes arriving at certain points that fit the gameplay really well. The game just feels really well made and has lots of nice surprises and cool features, best left discovered by the player!

Das Spiel hat nettes Pixelart. Der Rest ist nicht so gut. Die Story ist da um da zu sein. Der Soundtrack hält sich zu sehr im Hintergrund. Und das Gameplay funktioniert hinten und vorne nicht.
Die einzige Möglichkeit gegnerischen Angriffen auszuweichen ist zu springen, ducken kann man sich nicht. Blocken geht auch nicht. Als Nahkämpfer kann man nur draufhauen und getroffen werden. Als Fernkämpfer bemerkt man wie schlecht die KI ist. Gegner rennen zu dir hin, bleiben am Leveldesign hängen, können dich auch nicht mit Fernkampfangriffen treffen und reagieren auch nicht darauf getroffen zu werden.

The game is currently not working, there is a chance that every time that you log in you lose your save files and they all are replaced with a permanent bug that fills all the character slots, making you unable to play or create characters, you can't fix this at all, I have tried all sorts of deleting cloud saves, local files everything you can name it.
I have emailed the developers and they just don't care about this game anymore, all they care about is making money from you while they can. There's no updates and no fixes.

-Ломаются ваши сейвы с персонажами. Играете вы себе день, два и более с друзьями, а потом бах и нет ваших сейвов.
-После того как пропадут ваши сейвы игра ломается окончательно, без возможности зайти в меню. На вашем экране будет сэйв с именем Aleksander со 100% прохождением и 65 часами игры, во всех слотах. Эти сэйвы вы не сможете удалить или еще что-либо сделать.
Первое впечатление было хорошим, но дальше баги и игра превращается в кирпич. Красная цена такому недоделку рублей 20. Кому дороги нервы и время не советую брать эту херню.

I really like this game despite its flaws.
Word of warning: Do not play with a controller the aim is to too slow and the lock on is terrible.
Some platforms like the ones in tutorial area and the faun god boss room simply do not stand out are are difficult to notice, thankfully this is not an issue in later levels. This might be resolved by adding a gamma slider but i can not be sure.
Another issue I have is the rapid loss of healing items in the faun god boss fight: Spent 20 healing items just trying to stop his regeneration or to kill those floating enemy resurrecting jerkbags, only to die? Well have fun farming healing items just so you can try again.
Speaking of healing items why do the same stacking items heal for different amounts? example: Healing item A heals for 30% or the next time its 35% and then after that maybe its 24% ect...
The game does not really inform the player of how necessary a ranged attack is until the Faun God, and it does so by killing you. Repeatedly. The same goes with certain bosses and their instant kill attacks. As well as the dash moves and other movement abilities. Not for combat, but just being able to get around the map and find the "secret" set items.
Final edit: Always pick the purple egg.
All in all its a great game that is totally worth its price.

Does not run at 4k, need to set desktop to 1080P resolution before playing. (Almost refunded purchase because of this--please fix.)
Sometimes runs less than smooth.
Controls can't be configured anyplace but in the main menu, somewhat inconvenient. Default control schemes aren't so great.
Steam controller needs to be configured, no existing profiles (what else is new).
With a few patches this game would be really awesome, without still very playable.

Bardzo przyjemnie spędza mi się przy niej czas, dawno żadna z nowszych gier nie przyciągała mnie tak często do komputera, a Warlocks dał sobie z tym doskonale radę. Uwielbiam ten niecodzienny system walki, piękną oprawę pixel-art i humor, którym jest przesiąknięty ten tytuł. Wielki plus za ciekawe postaci, obecnie bohaterem, którego wybrałam jest Jake, ale na pewno będę chciała zagrać również innymi, kto wie, może tym razem w kooperacji online?
Warlocks 2 God Slayers idealnie nadaje się na leniwe niedzielne popołudnie, kiedy nie wiesz, co ze sobą zrobić w ponad 30-stopniowy upał. Mam już 6 godzin na liczniku, a pokazuje mi, że to 50% całości gry więc na szczęście jeszcze trochę przede mną :>

Первые Варлоки мне в целом понравились, игра была, скажем так, не без недостатков, но динамичная, а ради зажигательного саундтрека первая локация игралась и игралась. Плюс довольно много действительно разных персонажей, открывать которых было сложно, но хотелось.
Что у нас во вторых Варлоках? Если описывать игру одним словом, то - уныло.
Первые пару часов игра завлекает, все дальше и дальше уводя от возможности вернуть денежки.
Затем почти сразу же срывает с себя всю мишуру, и остается только пустота.
Итак, из положительного.
+ Милая графика. Ну, люблю я пиксели, что ж теперь. Картинка приятная и тд, и тп.
+ Юморок местами неплох (сильно местами).
+ Музыка норм. Вроде. Просто за исключением музыки в главном меню (которая является ремиксом той самой темы из первой Warlocks), больше и вспомнить нечего. Музыка есть. Точка.
+ Личные зверюшки (в итоге раздражающая хрень, которая особо не помогает)!
+... +... А как-то и все.
Из отрицательного.
- Спецэффекты могли бы быть и получше, мягко выражаясь. Легко могу вспомнить игры с Сеги, в которых эффекты были значительно лучше. Уныло стрелять раз за разом какой-то фиолетовой фигней - очень увлекательно. Да даже в первой игре у персонажей были разные прикольные "пыщ-пыщи" и "пиу-пиуы", а здесь скука.
- Сам геймплэй. И вот тут разработчики прокатились по-полной. Ролевая система? Нету ее. Есть пара умений, которые прокачиваются и постоянно пользуются, на остальные кладется болт. Я играл за какого-то зелено-фиолетового шамана, открыл Лук, увидел, что делает, поморщился и забыл. Динамичные бои? Буквально за пару минут до написания обзора, я махался с каким-то кибер-чуваком на крыше подводной лодки. У чувака пушка, у подлодки пушка и ракеты, эпик, казалось бы, гарантирован. В итоге это все вылилось в полторы минуты стояния друг напротив друга и зажатой левой кнопкой мыши. Все, босс повержен. Да за ростом мха наблюдать интереснее! Лут? Ну да, он тут есть, и он на 95% состоит из бесполезного мусора. Буквально. Карманы набиваются всякими костями, шкурами и прочей ерундой. Для крафта? Нет, для продажи. Возможно, хотели сделать крафт, но не шмогли. Платформинг - просто кошмар, особенно лестницы разработчикам удались. На них хрен запрыгнешь и с них хрен спрыгнешь. А квесты минуты на три, когда тебя мотают по одним и тем же локациям просто поговорить с кем-то? Морровинд уже вскрывает себе вены от осознания собственной убогости. Я прекрасно понимаю, что такого рода играм совсем не обязателен глубокий и интересный сюжет, но хоть веселым и смешным его сделать можно было? Враги - это отдельная песня. Они тупые, они багучие, они, наконец, не могут стрелять под углом! Персонаж может, а они нет. И они одинаковые. Вот плюющиеся соплями недомерки в снегах, а вот плюющиеся соплями ящерицы (?) в каких-то развалинах. Убивать их скучно. Если боссы хоть как-то что-то могут противопоставить герою, хоть как-то могут сопротивляться, то бедным болванчикам остается только с угрюмым упорством стрелять в приближающуюся Годзиллу. Не хватало только криков типа: "Скажите моей жене, что я ее люблю...", честное слово. В общем, уныло до безобразия. И раздражает.
В общем-то, легко можно заметить из моего обзора, что плюсы никак не могут перевесить минусы, слишком те тяжелые.
Я нечасто пишу отрицательные обзоры, потому что думаю, а вдруг кому зайдет, кому-то ведь понравится, но в этой игре, кроме картинки (и, может, музыки), нравится просто нечему. Игра может понравиться только тем, у кого она вторая сразу после Сапера (да и тот по напряженности Варлоков делает).
Итого мне обидно и печально.

Первый час игры меня безумно порадовал:
+ Пиксельная графика не вырви глаз как у некоторых проектов
+ Музыка, но если подолгу задерживаться на локациях, то начинает надоедать
+ Есть сюжет, по которому нас ведут, давая основные и побочные задания
+ Пять персонажей на выбор
+ Прокачка, улучшение способностей, снаряжение
+ Поддержка геймпадов (как обладатель Sony DualShock 4 был приятно удивлен - в настройках можно выбрать подсказки по управлению как для Xbox, так и для PS)
Но поиграв еще несколько часов и пройдя 50% игры, я почувствовал себя обманутым:
- Играя за пьяного козла Cormag, использовал всего лишь 2 базовых скила, атака и хил, необходимости в изучении чего-то нового не увидел, а пробовать другого героя нет желания и сейчас расскажу почему
- К снаряжению разработчики добавили различные показатели такие как шанс крита/уклона, скорость атаки/каста, вампиризм и многое другое, что в теории выглядит многообещающе, но на практике это не чувствуется от слова совсем! Единственное исключение, когда вещь редкая и имеет уникальную способность, например, замедляет врагов при атаке или выпускает в них молнию
- После убийства противников, те оставляют после себя разный хлам, который как я думал пригодится для крафта, но нет, это просто бесполезный мусор для продажи, но даже здесь разработчики не смогли добавить одну кнопку "Продать весь хлам", приходится тыкать по каждому предмету
- Есть баги, лично мне попадались в небольшом количестве, но довольно неприятно, когда невозможно продолжить диалог из-за неактивности F, а на Esc игра никак не реагирует, приходится прибегать к проверенному способу alt+F4
- Бои наскучивают очень быстро, они однообразны - зажимаешь ЛКМ (именно так я победил БОССА на первой планете, на 10 секунд зажал ЛКМ, никакой тактики, ничего подобного)
- Хотел себя развлечь в сетевой игре, но там пусто как на улице 1 января
Ну и как обычно решающим фактором стала цена, все вышеописанное не может стоить 435 рублей!

I really wish Steam had more options than just yes or no.
No I don't recommend yet as this should be early access. The resolution in the game is stuck at a low resolution which creates a unfair environment as you can't see anything on platforms below you, enemies will shoot at you before you can see them and the screen seems packed with you and 1-2 enemies in it. Now you can change the resolution but it does nothing, I bounced back and forth between 1080p and 720p and completely quit out the game and nothing changed. Also the text sizing for dialog is tiny.
The action/moving in the game feels heavy, clunky and uninspired I picked the far right character, the mage I guess. Her main move was to throw 2 roses which was meh who cares and the next skill I unlocked was a SELFIE a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ selfie!?!?! So for the 30ish minutes I played it, I felt disappointed as its been in my wish list for a while.
All in all it has promise but its still way to early to buy. I am going to refund and maybe revisit in a year, unless the Dev's give up on it. So for now its a No
Let me put it this way.
If you love Warlocks vs Shadows, you will love this game.
It has everything that WvS had, still missing a few characters from WvS game hopefully they will join the ranks of the others (RAISES ANGRY FIST AND SHAKES IT)
The only difference being, this time it is an "open world" game, you run through different levels completing quests for the natives so that in the end you can join the order of warlocks.
Everything starts out with you being captured, and then freed by an oversized ewok or well a furry thing, you then get 1 stat point to unlock your first skill aka your basic attack. You then get a teleporter where you are teleported to a main hub area
The hub area is where you buy healing items and gear. It is from here you also teleport to the different areas where you will recieve various quests to complete, Along your merry adventure you will pick up items that will boost Cooldown, dmg and defense etc. (Just like in WvS)
As of now I have not had a boss encounter, but will update when I have had my first.
Moving on......
Graphics: That graphics in this game are amazing, they are so well done, and since I am a huge fan of pixel art, man this game just hit the spot.
Music: The music is also pretty damn good, switches from nice and mellow to more dramatic once you get into a fight
Sound: Sound effects are pretty good, nothing special nothing awesome.
Controls: Controls are good and responsive I haven't had any issues what so ever, think I read one review saying they were clunky, but that is not the case at all.
Most important question! Does it have online co-op?
Most important answer!: YES IT DOES!
So what are you waiting for? Go grab this game and play it!
Мне нравятся пиксильнные игры особенно такого жанра, мне даже полюбилась багнутая первая часть, но обращаюсь к разработчикам прошу вас обратите внимания на сетевой режим!! В конце любого акта по завершению миссии, сетевая игра вылетает, и не сохраняет прогресса. Так что если вы хотите взять игру из за сетевого режима прошу воздержитесь, по тому что я не думаю что такие баги ребята будут исправлять, ведь первую часть они также не стали фиксить )) ну а в целом игра топовая герои ветка прокачки )) особенно музыка на высоте.
Nice game. I like it retro graphic style and animated movements. Playable characters are very original and fun with lots of skills to discover, stuff to wear and enemy to defeat. Classic 2d rpg with light and humorous plot.
When you play this at first you think of a quirky platformer with action based combat. You are right to think it... But it is more... It's a silly action adventure where you can play as a Goatman riding on a Dwarf-centaur...
Yes you heard me right... a dwarf-centaur... It's an interesting game with the main premise of having fun...
Just don't think the game will hold your hand while playing it. It bloody will not...
You have a small amount of health and each attack has a small cooldown from 0.5 seconds to a 5 second cooldown...
It's brutal, but fair...
Each level has a hidden chest in an "unreachable" place at the start usually requiring a superjump. This usually contains armour/items that give special bonuses making your character stronger so you can do more damage etc.
This is a good game it also has Co-op. I highly recommend this game on the first premise alone. Enjoy :3
Склоняюсь к "можно брать". Но в текущий момент скучновато и много багов.
Прошёл игру, без изменения стартовых настроек,- легко. Кроме босса в конце лабиринта первого мира. К нему пришлось подбирать тактику. Игра на самом так себе, но лучше платформера с птицами (Eagle Island).
Из ПЛЮСОВ - музыка! Вот к чему действительно не придраться. Тут все более чем ОК!
Так же к стилистике быстро привыкаешь.
Могу сказать, что ждем исправления багов, балансировки игры. И главное - доп контент.
Из багов столкнулся с проблемами:
- не закрывающихся квестов;
- криво работающих абилок;
- кривые и неудобные прыжки;
- после первого мира перестали выпадать предметы на питомца;
- не смог подбирать вещи после прохождения (убийства финального босса);
- управление ужасно (играл на геймпаде).
По балансу:
- так и не смог понять зачем такое дерево навыков, тк реально за всю игру использовал 2 (за первого персонажа), все остальное вложил в уже открытые;
- не понятный баланс между снаряжением;
- питомиц один и не понятно зачем он вообще такой;
- в некоторых местах обычные мобы страшнее босса.
Контент:
- ужасно мало сюжетного контента и почти нет разъяснений;
- ужасно мало и не понятен "набор" снаряжения;
- нет крафта, или не должно быть, но при этом на начальных уровнях падали расходники.
Построение уровней (не дизайн, а именно как оно реализовано) - так себе.

Ladna oprawa graficzna. Dobry humor i nie banalne rozwoj postaci. Jesli kochasz nostalgie to ta gra ciebie przekona. Jesli kochasz powrot do przeszlosci w noweczesnym wydaniu gra ci sie spodoba. Игра абсолютно не играбелна - посколку это не игра а словарик багов какой то. То квет не защитан (а отменить его и перепройти нельзя) то выполнен но петомца за него не дали (а толко по этому кв его получить и можа). Вот и получается что не играеш в игру про рпг и приклучения а пересаздаёш чара играя в рулетку с фортуной которая так и тычет те задом в лицо. Поиграл (постралда) ни 1 раз не за 1 перса но смог долакать токо до 18% далше как неи сторалсяч квешная система залагов и баагов не пропускает ни в какую. Это в лучшем случие дримучия алфа а не как не релизный вариакнт. Хотите норм роект тогоже плана купите лучше Starbound и не тратте на этот не додел денги.
Hallo gleich am Anfang das spiel selbst ist gut aaabbbber der online Coop geht ja mal gar nicht kann sein das es nur Zufall ist aber bei mir und einem Kollegen geht es einfach nicht wir finden uns und gehen ins spiel und dann wird die Verbindung unterbrochen das gleiche ist wenn wie woanders rein gehen und ich finde es auch sehr schlecht das man kein PW erstellen kann wenn man eins auf macht es geht einfach zu schnell das andere leute dazu kommen und dann kann man sie nicht mal kicken so lange das mit dem Coop nicht richtig klappt bekommt das spiel leider ein Daumen nach unten von mir ich hoffe es wird noch was dran gemacht

5 postaci. Drzewko rozwoju. Do tego mnóstwo przedmiotów. I jest własny chowaniec !! Co jeszcze dodać? Dużo metroidvani. Ciekawa i pokręcona fabuła. Mamy tutaj Single Player i Co-Op lokalny. Granie w sieci też jest.
Oczywiście są też loot boxy ;) Tylko pare tysięcy golda ;)

From a presentation standpoint, Warlocks 2 looks and sounds amazing. Its got highly detailed sprites and lots of them at that with exceptional animation. There's tons of great music and the sound design is awesome. This is one of the better looking and sounding indie games out there.
Where it falls apart a bit is the gameplay. The first hour or so is pretty repetitive. You get more abilities to mess around with but not much changes. But it can be fun. It's kind of like a character action game. You do have a loot system but the main draw from the gameplay is the boss fights which are fun and interesting. Bosses like the other models are highly detailed, well animated and have tons of (telegraphed) attacked to keep you invested in a fight. With all that in mind, the game unfortunately seems extremely short. There is replay value for playing online in addition to difficulty modes and other characters but if you ask me they should've just spent development on just one solid character kit. I would've loved to see a non-roguelike action adventure game with objectives have a really fun kit of abilities. I'm glad this game didn't turn into "rogue-like with nice pixel art game #231" but it does need more depth to its gameplay.
Overall it's a decent game but it's hard to recommend as the gameplay lacks a lot of needed depth. It's objective-based gameplay and pickup & play aspect gives it a sharper edge but not nearly as sharp as having combos, more rpg elements or just more satisfying move sets.

So, yeah, I got a crave for all those "pixel" games. Especially - when they go like: "Whoa! We have RPG, level ups and inventory".
I've watched the trailers, checked the description and I am refunding this game right now. Why?

No, they don't. There is no AI in game as it is advertised. The enemies are stupid dummies that react to certain triggers. The don't work together. Let me explain on good example - one of the first enemies is a large boar-type creature, that rushes at you. Guess what it does when it can't follow and attack you? That's right - it simply waits until you land all dem firebolts to his chin. Rest of the folks do the same - they rush at you, to hug your deadly projectiles.

Guess what that loot does? Maybe it's changing your attack style? Would you expect that your attack pattern would change if you switch rusty knife to a golden staff? Maybe that fancy armor will change the character sprite? Nope. It just boosts your numbers. A bit. You won't notice.
But yeah, indeed: pixel art and humor are there indeed.
But seriously - being unable to dodge the attack is critical to this game. Basically it feels sorta like Simon's quest in terms of combat and controls: can't jump right, can't run fast, can't climb.
What I was expecting: a game that is fast (ok, "dynamic") and has fun combat - like Dead Cells, Rogue Legacy, Guacamelee, etc. (Talking about game speed and controls, not the game mechanics), some loot that matters and enemies that are fun to battle.
What I got: some game that feels like a bad platformer from SEGA Genesis/Megadrive era with couple of modern touches, though it was not advertised that way.
