워해머 까막눈이 처음으로 도전해본 워해머 겜.,
쪼렙때는 밀려드는 적의 압박이 대단하고, 중반 이후로는 장갑 및 버프 떡칠한 적들과 우당탕탕 하는 재미가 좋았다.
감나빗의 스트레스는 없지만 기술 시전에 확률 요소가 일부 있어 조금 빡칠때도 있었다.
전반적으로 육중한 그레이나이트 들의 움직임과 타격감을 잘 구현해 놓아 눈과 귀가 즐거운 경험이었다.
워해머 세계관을 잘 이해하고 있으면 재미가 더 배가되었겠지만, 공부하기에는 너무 세계관이 방대하여 이쯤에서 마무리..
여태껏 해 본 전략게임들 중 상위권에 드는 작품이라고 추천할 수 있겠다.

[b]This is an amazing game[/b], specially if you already know about the deep lore of WH40K , playing as grey knights is really cool as expected. well the [i]mechanics are pretty much like xcom2 in the basics [/i] (except for the probability hit that is bad thing on xcom2 here is better adapted to the WH40k battle tactics and game system that is far better) plus the [b]very well represented greykights [/b] skills, armors and weapons, good progression and rewards, that was exactly what i was looking for, [b] great wh40k storyline [/b], great characters, [b]no DEI crap no relationship focus[/b], only duty and decision making that rewards you with great combat. I tried to like it, I really did, but its brutal. first and foremost I'm no Esports legend and I certainly never min/maxed any of my knights. I just never got the sense I was getting stronger to the rapidly advancing enemies, gear only getting slightly better and the knights having a skill cap feels like 10 ton handicap. if I had to summarize my feelings I'd akin affected planets like going for a boss whos a higher level just for the obvious XP/loot rewards. However theres no reward and no reprieve, and you might say thats what 40k is with all the stagnation and the slog. This is supposed to be fun though. I finish my B****ing to say its an excellent art peice and rough concept, just a non cracked dev needs to play their own game to see how unbalanced it is.

This must be a game of trial and error. Upgrades are confusingly named and described.... most likely in universe roleplay. Character weapons become useless quickly.... I needed 3 out of 4 characters to kill one minion before the other 5 minions chipped away to critically wound the entire team. You're told to press the attack because you're punished if you play defensively, but your offence is useless as all minions overwatch defensively and "long range" is useless. Storming the beaches of Normandy was a risky move, but if running into fire is programmed to be the only strategy you're given... just surrender and uninstall the stupid game.

[b]NEGATIVES[/b]

- etwas seltsamer, comichafter Grafikstil
- keine deutsche Vertonung (aber deutsche Untertitel und Menüs)
- Kamera ist nicht mit der Maus schwenkbar, sondern nur(!) mittels Tasten am oberen Bildschirmrand und auch nur in 4(!) Positionen
- Kamerasteuerung ist ansonsten komplett irre; man kann nicht weit genug rauszoomen und „Kantenschwenken“ springt ständig an Orte wo man die Kamera gerade nicht haben will (ohne diese Funktion kann man aber auch nicht spielen, da man ansonsten noch weniger sieht)
- Animationen können nicht beschleunigt werden
- Dreadnaught ist nur in bestimmten Missionem einsetzbar und auch nur mit DLC (für mich gehört der ins Grundspiel)
- Grindlastiger als man es aus der X-COM Reihe kennt
- zu wenig Speicherplätze (nur 5 + 1 Auto)
- man darf leider nicht als Death Guard spielen
- Mission mit unfassbarem Performance Einbruch; und zwar jene bei der große Feuerschalen dargestellt werden (nur 1x passiert)
- viele Abstürze (mehrmals und teils sogar täglich passiert)

[b]FAZIT[/b]

Chaos Gate: Deamonhunters von Mitte 2022 ist eine Mischung aus taktischem RundenKampf und Strategiemanagement und ähnelt daher sehr stark den X-COM-Spielen.
Das Spiel transportiert dabei pure Warhammer 40K Atmosphäre. Hauptgegner sind die Anhänger des Nurgle, von denen es zwar recht viele und auch mit unterschiedlicher Bewaffnung gibt, aber ich hätte mir noch andere gegnerische Fraktionen gewünscht. Wäre da nicht die furchtbare Kamerasteuerung , eine etwas erwachsenere Grafik und etwas weniger Grinding, wäre es nahezu perfekt. Es gab auch erstaunlich viel Story, die auch mit gut umgesetzten Videosequenzen dargestellt wurde.
Fans von Warhammer 40K aber auch jenen, die die X-COM-Spiele mochten, ist das Spiel klar zu empfehlen.

这个游戏如果玩最高难度的话，对初见一周目或者是战旗游戏新手很不友好，所以在此给出几点建议：
1 刷初始人物，确保拦截者或者炼狱者有忠诚战士天赋（多给3点技能点
2 队伍培养方面，前期只建议练四个人：双拦截，执政官，炼狱者（多管灵光炮）。
拦截者优先点左下的支援攻击，武器带1级圣物的4弹药暴风爆弹枪，这个最有性价比。
执政官穿终结者甲，点出加2行动点数的技能（不用点强化），然后点护盾。武器前期推荐带剑，因为权杖只有3点伤害补刀不好用。
炼狱者就点出下面的一点弱点暴击技能然后点左上，武器带多管灵光炮。
这套队伍的打法就是执政官靠着自己至少7点（终结者加护盾天赋）的护盾找一个半身掩体卡住地方远程怪，因为这游戏远程怪的逻辑就是移动到你队伍的侧翼然后优先打减伤低的单位，而穿终结者的执政官可以起码顶住3个人的火力不掉血。然后拦截者移动到射击角度好的地方，让远处射程非常远的炼狱者2打触发2次支援攻击，这套最低光靠远程输出就可以打出2x11点的爆发，而且两个拦截者还会有2点行动点剩余，炼狱者如果没有移动则会剩一点行动点，这在前期是非常可观的。用好这套打法可以基本无伤度过前100天。
3 前期尽量多做额外给征召币的任务，而且不要去打科技噬菌体，科技噬菌体的3CSM和2掷弹兵的组合非常恶心，队伍输出不够不能快速秒掉2掷弹兵的话很容易出伤导致崩盘，建议输出武器拿到2级或者3级大师装备的情况下再去打。
4 方舟灵族世界任务不急着做。建议升级3级地图移动速度之后再去。
5 如果一周目不做成就的话，自己队伍状态不好的情况下可以不打5级感染开花任务，直接扔灭绝令就行了。
6 后期培养的话，想坐上轮椅就多练拦截者就行了。我自己用的阵容是双拦截药剂师加上执政官，双炼狱牧师+任意前排，双执政净化卡里苏斯刺客。

游戏通了，打个4分，有缺陷但瑕不掩瑜，作为40k 的 xcom 来说算及格，这游戏最大问题就是难度曲线太屎了，前期难，后期有了装备灰骑士无双，花式吊打敌人。
说说小心得，前期因为永恒使命 dlc 会刷机械噬菌体任务，任务难度偏高，因为都是罐头，而且个别带破甲，可以早点去把无畏前置做了拿技术军士，技术军士特点是碎甲和奴工，奴工建议带等离子，另外一个在天赋点出来以后随意，等离子相当于每回合一个高破坏场景值的手雷，有敌人在地图边缘的除开大型敌人和穿 t 甲的可以地形杀，前期随机到保护奴工的机械噬菌体任务建议跳过，这个任务要分兵不说还特别浪费时间，守下三个奴工可以多拿点种子，但还是不建议，实在不想打可以通过 sl 随机另外的，装备也可以在战前看看奖励回报，通过 sl 到自己想要的装备再打，前中期围绕着拦截者大爹来打就行，中期有了圣骑，智库等进阶职业的时候就可以开始玩轮椅了，圣骑去刷一把强力打击带 aoe 的锤子，药剂师上一个铁臂术，智库跳脸圣骑抡大锤眩晕处决流轮椅就开始了，简言之就是圣骑，智库，药剂师，牧师（带上正义之锤，好像是叫这个，可以让你开祷言不再每回合扣毅力，然后开憎恨祷言），你就敲去吧，一玩一个不吱声，这个流派比较不吃装备，刚需主要就是一把 aoe 锤子，圣骑点出强力打击多一晕。至于其他流派，中后期有了装备都是花式吊打，没太多好说的。
接下来说说几个 dlc，刺客 dlc 里刺客比较独，属于是自己打自己的，强也还是强，但和灰骑士不成体系，想玩也可以带着玩的。
永恒使命 dlc，就是无畏技术军士的 dlc 这个 dlc 差评较多，主要就是初期在无畏没加入之前就会刷机械噬菌体任务，我的建议是别看腐蚀加的多，该跳就跳，有了技术军士以后可以带着技术军士打，有了无畏以后就优先点天赋里的等离子线，见人就过载等离子，中期出现的3个还是4个净化大气层任务把全部做了，做完这三个任务才能开技术军士和无畏的进阶装备，做完一个净化大气层任务解锁剑级护卫舰任务，这个也可以尽早做了，有护卫舰以后清地图上的点可以事半功倍。
堡主 dlc，这个是最不推荐的 dlc，除了堡主很帅，其余的属于是净化者明明有更强的焚化炮特化点，他全去加了近战，唯一优势不怕死，不过要注意，现在的堡主死了也没法获得仿生，这个 dlc 纯粹就是制作公司拍脑袋搞出来的，不建议购入。
其余的也没什么要补充的了，希望还有续作，但是这制作公司真的屎，下次不懂别瞎改了。

I'm at a loss for words on this one... I was really liking it until now, but I'm in a position in my game where there's literally no way to proceed forward. I HAVE to go to a previous save like 20 hours ago in my 59 hour playthrough or restart the campaign altogether.

There's been countless missions where I felt like I was playing against a computer that was hell bent on cheating the RNG results to where it seemed to suspiciously skew towards picking the most devastating modifier it possibly could at that moment in time. It seems to know when it's going to be the worst moment to put the no healing for 3 turns stratagem on me, giving all enemies 5 armor, or just spawned a whole army right behind wherever I strategically holed up. I could deal with the combat shenanigans, it was the ship maintenance and travel that finally broke me. The entire game I'm starved for servitors and I've scraped by to achieve what I could, but in the end it didn't matter.

I researched the last mission, it started a 30 day timer for the final showdown. Two Morbus gate events pop at the like 10 days into the wait on the polar opposite side of the map. They are both literally too far for my ship to reach either of them in time (with rank 2 warp drives) to stop them from achieving the enemy win condition to open 5 gates to end the game. There's nothing I can afford to research or construct that can mitigate this. I'm absolutely floored, I'm just stuck in a check mate. I was so excited to get to the end and now... I don't know if I'll continue. It's the most anti-climactic and inconvenient loss I've experienced in a long time. Please fix this somehow.

if the game didn't butcher your dudes' health just because they came back from a mission mildly hurt, it might be more tolerable. but overall it kinda feels like they made some systems hard just for the sake of hard, like you're fighting the game's systems at times vs playing a game that is difficult but adaptable.

Nur etwas für Spieler die es lieben zu Rushen. Mit Strategie hat das nur bedingt etwas zu tun, denn man kann nicht "anschleichen, scouten, Hinterhalt, sieg"
Jede Runde steigt die "Blüte" und die Gegner werden dadurch stärker, was einen dazu nötigt zu rushen. Spaß macht mir sowas nicht, weil es einfach nur unsinnig ist..... so ein bissel wie die ganzen Ochsen die bei COD nur rumlaufen und wild rumballern.....irgendwen werd ich schon treffen.

Klares Nein zum Spiel. Es ist alt und sollte auch in der Versenkung bleiben

Туфтавецкая, ДЛС сначала нехило так бустят слjжность(а когда на грандмастера проходишь вообще аут), но как только получаешь убийц и дредноута, начинается резня, причем можно конечно обвинять игрока в том, что он нашел ванкилл комбинации и не хочет менять, но игра откровенно скучна. Ты траишь миссии из раза в раз, одинаковые, даже синематики разрушения/агро противника не спасают. Заставки прикольные, но это доп к игре, в общем тактичка, но особо интересных механик тут нет, потому что файтишься всегда на "таймер".

Ожидал чего-то большего короче, фанам тактичек соваться не стоит, фаны в40к, если уж совсем изголодались и серые рыцари твой ванлав

Good story, characters, music, gameplay. Could have used more narrative missions to break up the standard cleanup missions, but that's my biggest complaint.

Just be aware the game is quite complex. I played an initial playthrough on the lowest difficulty setting to get the hang of all the mechanics, and I'm glad I did. Diving into the much harder higher difficulties without that baseline knowledge would not have been very fun.

Which is a shame, because I ended up appreciating the cartoony visual style and highly entertaining sound design. Or at least, one part of it. The Space Marines sound like they weigh about 800 lbs, so when they're running at an opponent the thudding is tremendously satisfying.

Where I got stuck is that "Chaos Gate" seems to value two things: Aggression, and builds that maximize willpower and action point return. The aggression part I generally got a handle on. If there's a way to play this cautiously, which would be my usual, I can't figure it out. Taking your time is punished...but aggression is also punished a bit, because if you're really going for it you also push forward the timer for all kinds of negative effects to get applied.

Also, your Space Marines take quite a lot of damage in a big hurry. There are opponents that can fire a single energy blast and tear half the HP off a Marine unless they're in Terminator armor. (Plus, it seems like a single scratch causes a unit to return with a multi-day hit point penalty.)

This is where the builds come in. My understanding is that you really need to get everyone into Terminator armor as fast as you can, and then ignore everything that doesn't involve either permanently increasing WP and AP, or creating more of those points on the fly. If you didn't realize that going in, you may have just hamstrung yourself. I don't have a lot of love for games that say, "We'll provide you with a whole box of solutions, but there's only one real one," which seems to be the case here. I could be wrong! That's what it seemed like in the heat of the moment, though.

As such, I don't know if this game is really for me, although I might come back to it later.

This game is a bunch of unbalanced ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I loved Xcom2 and Mechanicus, but this is rubbish. 3 missions in, I have a team of four low skilled knights. They are expected to defend 3 servitors all at different points of a large battlefield, which is under siege by endless waves of enemies from all sides. I thought at first it wouldn't be too bad to defend them, but then wave after wave after wave of enemies started teleporting in on every side. It was then that I noticed the mission objectives weren't to just protect the servitors until I was teleported out, but also to kill all enemies. Totally stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I never normally refund a game, but if I could I would do this one.

Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters manages to deliver something that fans of tactical strategy games—and Warhammer 40k fans in particular—have wanted for a long time: an XCOM-style tactical game focused on the Grey Knights. For someone who enjoys both the genre and the setting, that alone is a huge win.

The core gameplay is where the game shines. The tactical combat feels satisfying, the controls are intuitive, and the UI is extremely well designed. It’s always clear what menu you’re in and what your options are, which keeps the focus on planning your next move rather than wrestling with the interface.

Atmosphere is another strong point. The sound design is excellent, especially with the way larger units like Dreadnoughts feel appropriately heavy and powerful when they move. The voice acting also fits the setting perfectly and helps sell the grim tone of the Grey Knights’ war against Chaos.

The story does a decent job exploring Grey Knights lore, but it feels like it holds back a bit. As a Warhammer fan, I couldn’t help wishing the game dug deeper into the factions and characters involved. It’s good, but it feels slightly toned down for broader appeal rather than fully embracing the depth of the universe.

The biggest issue with the game is repetition. Outside of the boss encounters, many of the battles start to feel very similar to each other. The mechanics remain fun, but by the later portions of the campaign you can definitely feel the loop repeating itself.

Visually, the game is solid but surprisingly dated for a modern release. Nothing looks outright bad, but it doesn’t quite match the level of detail you might expect from a recent strategy title.

Despite those flaws, the game manages its pacing well. The campaign ends right around the time fatigue from repetition begins to set in, which keeps it from overstaying its welcome.

Score: 7.95 / 10

Verdict:
Highly recommended—especially if you enjoy tactical games like XCOM or are a fan of Warhammer 40k. That said, the full bundle price can feel steep. Waiting for a sale makes this an easy recommendation.

This game is a nerd game and makes zero effort to apologize for it, I don't even really like the imperium that much but when the game gave me the option to exterminatus a planet you bet I started memeing it up.

As far as DLC goes Castellon just gives you a max level unit and is pretty ignorable unless your a big Grey knights fan, execution force is IMO pretty much mandatory as it gives you access to four whole new assassin class's (one of which is the Eversor WWRRRRRYYYY!) and they are ALL designed to enable strategy's not possible with the base game, Duty eternal imo is also good as it adds tech marines and a dreadnought and I feel it gets a bad rep because it makes the game more challanging.

I play these games ironman and feel that while this game is certainly hard it has allot less ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that will end your run if your not prepared for it like xcom 2 does, for that reason alone it gets major points from me for respecting my time.

Very good, it's not a genre I've played before so I was a little hesitant at first despite no negative experiences ― even refunded it once after trying two hours then decided to stick with it after all

Mainly bought it for the fact that it's Grey Knights and a good story, and keeping it was the right choice

Interesting mechanics, great visuals in everything ― environments and the Grey Knights themselves look great, camera work makes them look even more badass.

Still in the middle of the story as I write this but it's unfolding in a very engaging manner as well. Happy with it

다만 친절한 게임은 아닌 게, 워해머 세계관을 모르는 사람에게 다소 불친절 합니다
스토리부터 각종 시스템 용어까지 세계관 내 고유명사로 가득합니다
스토리의 경우 맥락도 파악 못 할 정도는 아니지만 이게 대체 어느 나라 말인가 싶고
익숙한 용어로 대체 가능한 시스템 설명도 고유명사로 도배 되어 있어요

그래도 큰 문제는 아닙니다
스토리는 "아! 나쁜 놈들이 우주 코로나를 퍼뜨리는데 우리가 영웅처럼 등장해서 다 때려 부수면 되는구나" 정도로 생각하셔도 무방하고, 시스템 용어 또한 천천히 살펴보면 익숙한 그것들입니다

캐릭터 이동 시, 문 혹은 난간 같은 요소는 그냥 몸으로 뚫고 가버리는 박력 넘치는 연출은
거구의 중장갑과 시너지를 일으켜 소위 간지가 철철 넘치고
막강한 괴력의 전사들을 내가 지휘하고 있다는 느낌이 들게 합니다
기타 동영상이나 전투 컷인도 묵직함을 잘 살렸고요

모든 DLC가 포함된 패키지가 할인할 때 구매 시 3만원 미만의 가격이니
다소 낮은 평점에 구매를 망설였던 분이라면 한번 해보시길 추천 드려요

An excellent and well paced X-Com like for any 40K fan or genre fan. If you're interested best to get this with the Execution force DLC as it adds 4 extra classes to your barracks.

If you're a fan of other X-Com style games it's worth noting that this game solves some classic save scum frustrations:
- When enemies are detected your squad gets their AP refilled after the enemy gets their free moves to cover
- There's no chance to miss shots, modifiers like cover apply flat reductions and full cover is completely invulnerable to ranged attacks.
- When you leave combat all units automatically reload their weapons and refill AP
- Pushing enemies off cliffs kills them, but your units recover the following turn if they fall off.

This was a pretty good game on launch. But the addition of the defend servitors missions is just plain awful! They are so unbelievably dull, and the game is clearly not designed to deal with them. I accidentally clicked on one of them, started the mission and just *gave up* on the game. Quit and never went back to play. Just couldn't sit through another one of those.

I find this game as a lot of anti-fun designed into it. Everything has a negative to it - you can't use abilities without spawning more enemies. Your weapons seemingly do next to nothing to the enemies you fight. You stun an enemy for a turn and the next turn they are not stunned. The recovery time for your units is a terrible mechanic that detracts from the game. Graphics are too cartoonish and don't feel like a good fit for a 40k game. And frankly there is just too much ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ going on all the time - from blooms to warp spawns to enemies seemingly getting infinte grenades - again its just anti-fun at its core and I don't recommend it unless you get it at a very steep discount.

[u]Битвы с боссами[/u]
Сделаны отлично, у каждого босса есть условные стадии, прямо как в каком-нибудь слешере или souls-likе и для каждого требуются свои тактики. В лоб убить будет проблематично, но можно. Каждый из боссов выглядит и звучит реалистично, а их угрозы не просто слова и ваши рыцари могут поплатиться своими жизнями от некоторых ваншотящих атак, если не предпримете действия.

[u]Нюансы[/u]
Кому-то может не понравится визуальная составляющая проекта, ведь все сделано как-то по-мультяшному, гротескно весело. Даже нурглиты выглядят не как разлагающиеся отродья, а как мягкие пухляши, которых так и хочется потеребить за их щечки. Но зато серые рыцари в полной мере все равно являются грозной машиной Империума, с нарочитым пафосом и серьезностью, а если брать в расчет еще и DLC с ассасинами и Дредноутом, то так вообще уровень погружения в сеттинг не дает воспринимать их как нечто веселое и милое, в отличие от хаоситов. И еще одним минусом можно по праву считать отсутствие Дредноута из DLC в тех миссиях, где он был бы уместен и нужен в основной кампании. С учетом того, что против горстки рыцарей всегда выступает численно, а иногда и качественно превосходящие силы нурглитов, хочется уравнять шансы могучим исполином, который даст прикурить любому и это в данном случае не метафора, поскольку снарядить можно саркофаг по-разному, как вашей душе, что постоянно требует изощренных убийств врагов будет угодно)

P.S. А еще в данном проекте можно нападдать Мортариону по самое небалуйся, что многие, кто читали книги по вселенной WH40K хотели бы это сделать.

могу посоветовать игру тем, кто любит тактики, мне они даются крайне тяжело, но мне они нравятся. Меня в данной игре вымораживает факт, что моих Серых рыцарей могут убить обычные бомжи с пулеметами, я не говорю про гвардию смерти, а про обычных бомжей с автоматами и пулеметами, лучшие их лучших астартес мрут от того, что в них зарядили короткую очередь из автомата, нельзя же так поступать с астартес, особенно с серыми рыцарями
