It's a Warhammer game. Question #1: Does it have Warhammer in it?

Yes, it does have the grimdark vibe and the atmosphere that we, as fans, crave, and it's enough to give a positive review.

Jokes aside, though - it's very low-budget, and it shows. The graphics are... passable, but nothing to write home about. The bloody carnage in the Emperor's name? Present, but the shooting and the striking could really use more, better impact. Not saying it should be Space Marine II level gore, but it doesn't even compete with Space Marine I in the satisfaction department.

The bolt pistol and boltgun don't really feel like you're firing a handcannon with exploding rocket rounds, doesn't turn cultists into bloody mist... In fact, the bolts don't seem to be much stronger than lasgun shots, and that's a crying shame. One of the few guns that fealt really powerful and satisfying to use was the Melta (not the flamethrower, but the close-range plasma "shotgun"), but it's ammo is very limited.

Sound design and voice acting isn't amazing, but it works. The music could use a lot more "Oomph!".

Core gameplay loop, however, is solid, and once you've synched with the flow, you're knee deep in cultist and demon guts, and you hardly notice low-res interiors and enemy models from 2010, subpar gun experience.

Performance and optimization is also solid.

I'd give it a strong 6.5-7 out of 10.

Esta chulo, algo repetitivo y los bosses podrian estar mejor, pero tiene coop y modo oleadas, no he podido probarlo con nadie, pero seguro que es muy divertido.

Para fans de W40K esta de p*ta madre.

Per un appassionato di warhammer il gioco DEVE essere preso. Si tratta ancora di una Realtà Virtuale non perfetta ma comunque superiore rispetto a titoli passati. Per chi vive di warhammer dall'infanzia è suggestivo "vivere" il campo di battaglia e trovarsi al cospetto di uno space marine primaris in tutta la sua possenza (sebbene forse più basso rispetto alla lore, ma comunque cazzuto). per i controlli niente di complesso, basta fare esperienza ed, in ogni caso, consiglio vivamente l'utilizzo di supporti per le armi.
Chiaramente alcune cose cozzano con la lore e pregiudicano l'immersività, ad esempio gli space marine del caos a momenti sono dei nani e si buttano giù con 3 colpi di fucile laser della guardia, oppure lo stesso Black Templar che cammina tipo scemo, ma cose superabili alla fine.
Per essere la primissima esperienza VR nell'universo di W40k sono più che soddisfatto...chissà, magari più in la ci ritroveremo a vestire i panni di un Terminator...chissà.
