Void Invaders feels like a bare-bones Space Invaders clone with a neon filter slapped on top. The difficulty spikes aren’t satisfying, they’re cheap, with enemies and patterns that overwhelm you more by design than skill. There’s little innovation or depth to keep things interesting beyond a few runs. Unless you’re desperate for a budget arcade shooter, this one is easy to skip.

Flashing lights are crazy exagerated in this shoot 'em up, probably dangerous if you're the least bit photosensitive, but also dazzling to look at. Basic graphics with big pixels like Space Invaders but more colorful with bright rainbow colors. Looks like fireworks sometimes. Appropriate techno party music pumps up the excitement. No problem with gamepad controls although it's annoying when the enemies faster than yourself crash into you and when some shots just can't be dodged in the later levels. Level 22 is near impossible. It was even acknowledged by the developer as way too hard and poorly balanced in the Steam discussions. Poorly balanced for many levels even. Not recommended because of the flashing lights and difficulty peaks. Not worth the risk for one to two hours of playtime. That being written, I managed to beat level mode at normal difficulty.
Game is fun but level 22 is an absolute cancer

五彩缤纷闪瞎眼的画面，节奏动感的电音背景，玩起来十分过瘾。
有一个有点bug的体制在：玩家在每关游戏的过程中如果升级了可以回复满血，这有点像多了一条命打这关的意思。但是当玩家满级的时候就失去了这个恩惠了。
另外steam成就有些问题，有时候我明明达成条件也无法解开某些成就，有时候需要重启游戏才会同步解锁了成就。不过总体而言游戏本身的成就并没有什么难度，刷一刷3个多小时基本可以全成就。
PS：之前明明看到有玩家提供的指南的，现在怎么没了。

One of the most beautiful retro games I've ever played, and quite a challenging one too!
A fun re-imagining of Space Invaders / Galaga. Was able to complete without much difficulty, though I did get stuck on one level until I went back and gained a few more levels.
After beating the main game, try the challenging Hardcore Mode, Endless Mode, and Waves mode.
Sound is great, visuals are vibrant and fun, gameplay is smooth. Solid 8/10.

Seviyeler tekrara düşüyor, ilerleme hissi neredeyse yok ve karşılaştığınız zorluklar çoğu zaman adil olmaktan çok sinir bozucu.

I swear I saw someone compare this game to Space Invaders Frenzy in their Steam Review. They aren't wrong. While this is nowhere near my favourite shmup, it is still fun overall. I especially like endless mode and wave mode. As far as the games in the Interstellar Insanity Bundle go, this is my second favourite (topped only by Hyperspace Invaders II: Pixel Edition). Come to think of it, it could very well be my favourite even. For $3.29 Canadian, you could do worse.

I forgot to mention the screen wobble. If you find it nauseating at all; open up the settings, go to the screen settings and you can turn off the screen wobble from there.

I am 32 years old.
My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happineass of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

Суть предельно проста, стрелять в полчища летящих навстречу врагов.
Единственный минус, от такого количества цветов не сложно и эпилепсию словить.

Could have called this Space Invaders: Qubit's Mutiny! I liked it. The Hardcore Mode was sadistic, but it was such an endorphin rush when I finally beat it. Gonna go soak my fingers in ice now. Probably should have used a controller for that one.

Shoot em' up frenetico, buenos graficos, musica, jugabilidad limitada.... pocos powerups, algunos niveles son faciles y otros con mas dificultad de la esperada, tiene cromos y la musica viene gratis, dura poco.

Вот только баланс и постепенное увеличение сложности не завезли. В итоге, получаем нечто среднее между хардкорным Shoot`em up и простенькой игрой на один-два вечера чтобы собрать ачивки. До 20 уровня будете играть на расслабоне, как будто это что-то незначительное, и игра играет сама собой. Затем начинаются сложные уровни, где у вас не будет места для маневров, а противники, сплошные "боссы" - будут вас таранить и сносить hp за секунды.
Основное оружие бесполезное и очень слабое, поэтому вся игра превращается в ожидание выпадения power-up. От этого складывается впечатление что ты не играешь в игру, а должен угадать задумку автора по тому как проходить тот или иной уровень
В итоге, вы захотите побыстрее пройти эту игру и больше к ней не возвращаться...
Впрочем, попробовать определенно стоит. вначале игра, скорее всего, доставит определенное удовольствие, хотя бы яркими цветами. Но очень скоро эти яркие вспышки могут начать утомлять - не стоит засиживаться за этой игрой длительное время, потому что яркие вспышки на экране могут реально утомлять глаза. Особенно тяжелой для восприятия игра становится в Endless режиме, где вы должны продержаться как можно дольше - экран превращается в постоянно засвеченный от ярких цветных вспышек, и вместо того чтобы целиться на установление рекорда, вы захотите чтобы это все закончилось как можно скорее, все равно играть невозможно, потому что непонятно что происходит на экране. В эту игру вообще играешь по принципу - запустил, и водишь стрелками влево-вправо в надежде что пройдешь этот уровень. Ощущение такое, что разработчики выкрутили на максимум ручку с надписью "яркие вспышки" и сказал "и так сойдет!". Фанатам игры "Beat Hazard" может зайти, но даже в той игре все было как-то менее "агрессивно" по отношению к вашим глазам.
В эту игру буквально "больно играть", больно вашим глазам. Большую часть времени игры в "Edless mode" я просто отворачивался от экрана, все равно там ничего не понятно что происходит - ваша задача постоянно подбирать "power up" усиления, чтобы быть хоть сколько нибудь способным уничтожать противников, и просто хаотично нажимать стрелки в стороны. Это сложно назвать игрой и контролем за процессом игры. После получения достижений за "Endles mode" и "Wave mode", которые, к слову, получить несложно и вполне можно получить даже с первого раза - я больше никогда не вернусь к этим режимам, и, почти уверен, к этой игре в целом...

Me la pasé demasiado bien jugando a éste juego. Aunque tiene sus momentos bajos, y otros donde no se qué está pasando, pero destruyo todo, la mayor parte del tiempo me sentí habilidoso y capaz. Quizá el final si es demasiado demandante, pero no imposible. Así como en el Space Invaders original, lo más importante es la habilidad.

The bullets hardly hit any of the enemies and even when they do, the different enemy characters have a ton of HP. Oh yeah, the boss enemies just outright suck to beat. Don't remember the original arcade versions being rage inducing. Also, the achievements are bugged.

Visualmente, sem dúvida alguma, os desenvolvedores de Void Invaders se inspiraram no clássico Space Invaders, entretanto as comparações param por aí, pois a jogabilidade de Void Invaders não é nada enfadonho como no Space Invaders original.
São apenas dois comandos em Void Invaders, um para controlar o personagem e outro para atirar. Tem como você habilitar o autofire, daí o próprio jogo se encarrega de atirar para você, bastando que você comande o monstrinho.
Você controla uma criatura que dispara tiros freneticamente e que, dependendo do estágio, seu personagem ganha armas diferentes de uso temporário. Void Invaders possui quatro modos de jogo:
• Level Mode: São diversas fases até a sua conclusão, como são muitas, não achei interessante gravar 1CC neste modo, porém é imprescindível concluí-lo para habilitar o Hardcore Mode.
• Hardcore Mode: Este modo só é habilitado mediante alguns pré-requisitos. Como este gameplay é deste modo de jogo, irei me alongar mais a respeito dele adiante.
• Endless Mode: Modo de jogo sem fim que consiste em fazer a maior pontuação sem morrer.
• Wave Mode: Este modo consiste em passar por diversas ondas de inimigos.
O Hardcore Mode se assemelha a um modo arcade, pois são dez fases, com chefes na quinta e na décima, é um modo de jogo mais curto, porém bastante desafiador, porque não há treino. Se morrer volta desde o começo.
Achei este modo bem desafiador, principalmente no último chefe, apesar de haver uma barra de energia, ela se esgota facilmente se você marcar bobeira, principalmente ao encostar nos inimigos. Alguns tiros dos adversários são destrutíveis, mas dependendo da saraivada de projéteis, é impossível escapar ileso de todos.
No modo padrão, o jogo possui um recurso que a princípio é interessante, mas depois de um tempo se torna maçante que é a rotação da tela, eu optei por jogar com o recurso desligado, pois em nada ajuda ver a tela rodopiando, é um enfeite que eu achei desnecessário.
As músicas da trilha sonora, compostas por kingdaro, ou Kingdaro, segundo seu perfil no SoundCloud, são dos gêneros: house progressivo, electro house, bass, entre outros estilos musicais.
Eu gostei de Void Invaders, achei o Hardcore Mode bem desafiador, ele é curto, mas passei mais tempo jogando este modo do que nos demais. Eu recomendo o jogo.

I have no issue with the flashing lights but I COULD NOT STAND the shaking screen. Fortunately, you can turn that down or off completely. You can also enable auto-fire.

This is a great little game, combining the best of Space Invaders, Galaga, a touch of Asteroids and even more recent bullet hell games. There are 3 main modes - might be best to limit time playing limitless if one is epileptic - but the learning curve is just right, the tension ramps up as the boss fights escalates, there's a kicking soundtrack which keeps things feeling fresh by mixing it up between levels and modes, and the use of colour is very good: too many games throw chaos at the screen too soon, which this doesn't fall into the trap of doing. Recommended!
Considering the price, the music and gameplay seem fun enough to make it worthwhile. It's basically space invader with great soundtrack and visual.

Fantastic; but I think my Boss in level 15 is broken. It seems to take endless bullets; where on youtube I've seen it take WAY WAY less. EDIT: The new Beta version seems to fix this boss; and also the menu not working when Paused. Get it by clicking the Settings gear of the game's steam library page; and then Properties; Betas; and then select "beta - Branch for Testing"

Input bugs that break the menu. Once you're in a game you can't exit because it holds your selection at the top menu entry. Developer seems to have abandoned it, they aren't addressing bugs in the forum.

I won't say it does anything to out of the box for an interpretation of the "Invaders" style of game but that is no bad thing - it is very slick in both action and color and also has plenty of pick ups and weapons to keep the game interesting and trying to beat the hi scores is always fun and reminded me a lot of the older arcade games and console games that are still fun today
I would really say that if you come expecting a deep store based game with hours of game play - then no this is not what you'd want , but if you come looking for a blast of past games glory given a slick new take on the classic, that you can just play a game or two for ten minute burst between others, you will enjoy it a lot - 8.5/10

モードもいくつかあるし、きっちりやる場合はちゃんと攻略法があり、スコアランキングもある。
ゲーム性としては、ギャラガやスペースインベーダーよりギャプラスだろうか。
