Другим же играть в это платно противопоказано: всюду одни и те же объекты с маркетплейса, нейросетевые текстуры, паршивая озвучка, однообразные уровни и задачи на них, миллион слишком быстрых или тупых врагов на любой сложности, постоянно летящие в лицо спецэффекты, застревание на лестницах и т.д.

A good, short, linear, FPS game that has an entertaining story.
They say it’s like a soviet Half-Life but honestly, I had more of a Metro 2033 feel about this game’s atmosphere and gameplay. It took me close to 10 hours to complete. The achievements are very original. For the full price tag, it’s worth it.

Having fun immediately. It's a nice linear SP shooter, tense action, great post processing effects to make up for a one man operation and low poly textures. Satisfying fights. No AAA slop, just quality fun at a low price.

"Vladik" can be described as a mix of Half Life 1/2 and Metro 2033. It borrows not only a lot of gameplay aspects from these two titles but also tries to create the atmosphere known from these titles. Shooting has a punchy feeling (especially the shotguns are great!), there are lots of weapons and different types of human and inhuman enemies. However, over these 4-5 hours of playtime it´s getting a little bit repetitive. Especially towards the end there´s just non-stop shooting which gets a little bit boring. There are some riddles here and there, most of them are known from Half-Life 2 (e. g. the missing battery or the power cord that you have to plug in), but they are very easy and don´t need any thinking. The atmosphere is good but nowhere as good as in the Metro games. Level design is okay, but, to be honest, I have played free Half Life mods which have better level design than Vladik. The story is pretty bland and forgettable. The worst part for me was the enemy AI which is really, really bad. Enemies just walk towards you and shoot. Together with their bad animations they don´t seem to be human at all. Half Life 1 from 1998 had much better AI than this game. In classic Haf Life, enemies try to circle you, they seem to coordinate their attacks via radio broadcast and they throw grenades at you... In Vladik they just come at you and - shoot. Resource management is another issue because you´ll never run out of ammo in this game. Instead of balancing the gameplay out, they let the enmies hit hard and constantly throw items at you. And, by the way, no armor here (makes sense from a story perspective), but the HEV suit of Half Life which is giving you information about the power level via speech is just unique.
However, for a single-man project this is still a great achievement. It´s a game that really captures the feeling of the aforementioned classics even if it has some flaws. Not a masterpiece, but a great retro-inspired FPS title well worth the money and your time (one playthrough).

Вах, только что закончил прохождение данного шедевра и нахожусь под впечатлением.
Это было шедеврально) Да, технически игра не идеальна и сюжетка слабовата. Но эмоции от прохождения выше всяческих похвал! Крутая атмосфера, интересные локации и забавные шутки делают свое дело.

Шикарный минималистичный шутер/слэшер. Никакой лишней фигни, почти нет сюжета, зато много крови и месива. Отличная пострелушка, чтобы забыться на часок-другой.
Рекомендую эту игру только тем, кому нравится оригинальная халфа/квэйк/элементы хоррора. Мне никогда не нравилось произведение от Вэлв (как не начинал играть, дропал после лабы), хотя я понимаю какой у неё вес в игровой индустрии и чем она нравится игрокам, но повторюсь - не мое.
Наверно, я ожидал больше угарного вульфенштейна/серьезного сэма с фольклором ВСЖ, но увы и ах "ваши ожидания - ваши проблемы".

Honestly the game is fun, it both runs and looks great, however the ai is awful, it really let's the game down as a whole, mindless enemies just walking towards you isn't fun or realistic, I wouldn't mind so much if I was playing a boomer shooter but that isn't the case here, this is supposed to be a Russian love letter to half-life, and the original half-life has much better ai than this unfortunately, not to say this is a bad game it's just something new users may want to think about while making their purchase.

Графический движок вроде красив сам по себе, но над ним толком не поработали. Не рекомендую к покупке, особенно за те деньги, что просят, либо по очень хорошей скидке. People will seriously eat up any crappy FPS and give it a positive review won't they? Why there is no quality control for these games is beyond me. Steam really needs to enforce more boundaries so that things like this don't get thrown onto the store.
This is one of those times where I feel the solo dev needed a lot more people around them in order to polish up the game to a proper level. I hope they can take criticism unlike the hacks who made Severed Steel, because this is extremely soulless stuff. Basically, what if Half-Life was Russian and ♥♥♥♥♥♥? There's too many things that need to be mentioned, I played for an hour and I am completed baffled by why so many of the choices made in this shooter were made.
I'll go through bullet point by bullet point because there's just so many things that need to be addressed as a warning to any potential buyer.
-The game basically has no original ideas of it's own. It's just crappy Half-Life with similar looking interior environments, a similar structure, similar landscape (specifically HL2), but with way worse controls, way worse AI, way worse gunplay and just way worse everything basically. It's not cute when you name drop Half-Life into your own game thinking you're doing yourself a service by making it seem like this will be just as good as Half-Life. It isn't.
-The English Translation for the subtitles are abysmal. So many typos and moon language. I wouldn't be surprised if the dev just accidentally ran the script in Google Translate too many times because this is exceptionally lazy quality control.
-Controls are awful as mentioned. You can't run backwards like in Half-Life 2 and since enemies surround you constantly you have to look the other way, run, then turn back and shoot in order to get some distance between enemies. It's tedious and monotonous. The sprint bar doesn't even seem to work at points. I tried both toggle and hold and it just doesn't seem to make a difference on when it activatives. The controls are just sluggish in general and it makes for a bad time either way.
-Gameplay is even worse. Inventory doesn't make any sense. Why isn't the Pistol and Magnum in it's own inventory category? Why are the weapons put in such bad number key slots? Why is the crowbar with the pistol and magnum? Why isn't the Shotgun and Double Shotgun part of it's own category together? Same with Assault Rifles. But that's not all. Enemies just constantly run towards you idiotically and do massive damage to you. There's no body armor to begin with, so good luck fighting hordes of zombies when you're trying to keep your health up with the awful controls. There's just way too many enemies in general. I don't see the difference either with having two guns that are essentially the same either. (One is a AK rifle, the other is a silenced rifle. One is a Pump Shotgun, there other is a sawed off double barrel which is identical).
-Design is just abysmal. You think you can do certain things but can't like jumping on roofs from cars but you'll just fall through. The enemies are way too many, too dumb, too frustrating. The puzzles are unintuitive and seem like a gigantic waste of time. It feels like the dev played a couple of Classic FPS titles for 5 minutes only and just decided to base his game around that. The sluggish movement feels like it's out of a military sim, the hordes of enemies feel a lot like Serious Sam, the story is just ripped off/plagiarized from Half-Life, the environments are too much like Half-Life 2. Also, why do random soldiers drop high tech ammo after you get the electricity gun for no reason?
-Story is the lesser problem here, but I have no idea what I'm doing in general. And we have unskippable cutscenes. In a 2024 game. REALLY?
Just really, really bad. I don't think I can take anymore bad FPS Games in general. I'm pretty sure if I don't play a bunch of great ones in consecutive order I'm just going to upright quit playing these games. This is absolutely absurd that games like this are still being spat out on Steam without any quality assurance. This is an extremely soulless Half-Life rip off that doesn't understand anything that made Half-Life good in the first place.
Go play Half-Life, or Half-Life 2. End of story.
6/10, it was good at start but the bosses are not really fun, game is definitely unrefined but even then for a single developer this is pretty good. i wanna give it a higher grading but last 2 levels being just mob spam to no end was kind of a letdown, they were harder than previous levels which is good but just not overall fun at all when you start running out of ammo and not really having a way to renew it. I can't exactly recommend it to everyone but the action aspect and the gameplay wise it does what it promises to ( being a middle ground for metro and half life is fun too.) I hope the dev gets a bigger team to work with for his future projects.

C учетом того, что игра делалась всего одним человеком, это шедевр! Могу себе представить, если бы разработкой занимались хотя бы 15 человек, и при должном финансировании. Чувствуется любовь и кропотливость к своему детищу. Буду ждать новых проектов, и спасибо за 8 часов незабываемого геймерского удовольствия!
挺不错的，俄版半条命，算个小六边形游戏，把该有的东西都做完了，虽然单拎一个方面它不优秀，但起码是个完整的游戏，48块对得起内容
其次就是一些毛病，第一名就是切枪很难受，仿照了半条命的切枪方式，但是你就抄个表面是吗？人家是可以调键位的，你调不了你为什么要用半条命的切枪方式？而且还不能按Q切枪，我真炸了，你是不知道那b数字键有多难用，你刚按1选了小枪，你想再按2选大枪，你以为是从列表头开始选吗？其实是从你上一次用的枪往下选了一格，也就是说，你是不能靠肌肉记忆切枪的。你想快速的按1两下选左轮打远，再快速按2两下选霰弹打近，那是不可能的，你就切吧，切两下你就不知道切到什么东西上去了
然后就是AI敌人，除非一步一存档，不然我觉得这个游戏打不了无伤。这里的敌人，要么一个大拉提前抢打你，要么缩在后面架点，一边架它一边动，你拉出来了？人家100ms反应，你打提前枪都没它快。就算你比它快，你的AK水枪不打头根本打不动人，打身体压枪压好了10发杀一个算比较好的情况，压不好45发只能打两个人。对此我的评价是，不如霰弹枪，人家霰弹枪伤害距离不比你步枪差，中近距离打身体一枪就死，右键双连发双倍伤害，上弹快还不卡枪，可以做到装一发打一发的丝滑体验，AK这什么人下人破枪真别来沾边吧
再看剧情，剧情里我们男主可是超人一般的存在，那可是拥有超越眼睛的肉体恢复速度，说子弹都拿它没办法。不是我怎么不觉得这子弹像是拿我没办法呢？那最后一关总统府门口无限刷怪，全程我血就没超过50滴，也不知道刚清理完的地方哪来的人打我，一转头好几个人在追我，我是边跑边存档，生怕没存上死了从头玩，我怎么没感觉我有主角说的那么牛逼呢？
还有那个梯子，我玩了这么多游戏，能把梯子做成这样的也是个人物了。简单说就是烂完了，这破梯子你是不知道到底上没上去的，在梯子口按着w怎么都出不去，你要是高度不够还没上去就按了空格，就会掉下去摔死，然后复活在不知道是什么时候的存档点。然后在这个破梯子这么烂的情况下，居然还有梯子口埋伏环节，那我请问了，我这上去跟个乌龟一样，我还没出去呢刚露头就给我秒了，我怎么玩？最后我是靠着快速按蹲在梯子口一个大跳飞上来给人杀了才出去了，不然我真不知道在梯子口被架死的情况下怎么活着出去
哦，对了，这游戏也是有bug的，你在空中快速按蹲可以上到更高的地方，还有别忘了，那个长得像自动售货机的补给机是可以自动恢复的，没资源就原地等着多拿点再走

By far one of the best solo developer games I've ever played.
The weapons have weight, the hits really pack a punch!
There are more enemy variations than I expected, and the boss fights are fun.
Visually, you could think it was made by the creators of Metro or Stalker.
I can recommend it to everyone, and not just as a Steam special offer.
АСТАРОЖНА СПОЙЛЕРЫ!!! Я пердупердил.
Однозначно игра хороша, это крепкая 4 из 5, потому что имею на что пожаловаться (чисто ИМХО).
Невооруженным взглядом видно, что автор вдохновлялся серией игр Half-Life, но я уловил некоторые вайбы серий Сталкер, Метро 2033 и Resident Evil. Атмосфера в игре - мое почтение, но есть и претензии к автору: ну нельзя под думерскую музыку, когда ГГ бредет по промокшему вокзалу под раскаты грома, накатывать волны врагов, ломается вся атмосфера же, ну!
Кроч, что НЕ ПОНРАВИЛОСЬ:
1) броски гранат и молотова, задержки и необходимость зажимать кнопку мыши, чтоб дальше кинуть (а граната при этом бахает в воздухе),
2) вертикальные лестницы - это просто кошмар, ГГ не всегда с первого раза цепляется за них (особенно, если тащит что-то в своих цепких лапах), чтоб подниматься, нужно смотреть строго вверх или около того, что затрудняет крысятничество, когда можно пострелять врагов еще не поднявшись полностью,
3) перезарядка, если ты потратил обойму/снаряд, то, пока повторно не тапнешь мышкой, ГГ не перезарядится, очень калит на снайперской винтовке, гранатомете и вундервафле,
4) уровни сложности, я не знаю как, но в первый раз проходил игру на хардкоре и вполне успешно, умирал только от инстинкта исследователя (типа, а что будет если я нырну вот в ту жижу), от некоторых боссов, например как та клешня-растение, плюющееся радиоактивными слюнями, ну и на штурме "капитолия" несколько раз ложился. А вот на самом "легком" уровне сложности меня сношали так жестко и там, где я на хардкоре на изи выкатывался, например момент с отбиванием волн попрыгунчиков, где на твоей стороне 6 пулеметных турелей! На хардкоре ни одна турель не пострадала, на легком - турели вынесли за две минуты и пришлось "бегать там, крутиться, главное в стекло не попасть"...
5) достижения. Автор, ну ты серьезно? Без гайдов получить хотя бы половину достижений - нереально, они не интуитивные, ну, например момент с унитазом - как догадаться, что нужно именно там стрелять во второй по счету горшок и то оно может не сработать с первого раза.
НО, несмотря на все минусы, указанные выше - игорь вышла достойная, крепкая, хорошая, качественная, в общем, порадовала деда)))
not my cup of tea. the game feels like it was trying to turn half life into a horde shooter, and it doesn't work. the bosses are way to easy to cheese, and the ai is just terrible. it does not matter what sort of enemy attacks you they all just run at you. the story is not written well either. the plot does not make sense, and it just feels like an unity asset flip

I mean the game isn't bad per se. It's extremely likely that this type of game just isn't for me, but I just found it boring. The guns feel the great, but the rest of the game is just kind of eh. Don't get me wrong, the fact this was made by a single dev is very impressive and I can appreciate the work that went into it, it just isn't my type of game. It's quite slow and repetitive, compared to what I went in expecting. I thought this game was like a Russian style DOOM, or some other high octane FPS, that I kind of got the gist of from the trailer.
I tried to give it a go by playing to nearly the end, I think? To the part when I fight some boss called the 'Assassin' in some big city. Which brings me to my next point, the 'bosses' aren't really bosses, you just kinda sprint away while shooting all your high damage guns at it and killing it very quickly.
All in all, the game isn't bad but it's just what it is, a game. Probably just the most 5/10 mid game I've played. I died at one point after the assassin and just deleted the game because I simply didn't want to play it anymore.

And yet for all its problems it FEELS like a game from someone trying to make something good but didn't have the skills to pull it off and you got to give someone credit for trying.

Very surprised by the quality and length of the game. Punchy guns, intuitive gameplay, fun enemies, great setting and look, and a fun story. What's not to love?
Игра огонь! Пусть немного квадратная и местами топорная. Но это на первый взгляд!!! Чувствуется душ ровесника геймера)) Халва, феяр, ну и конечно сталкер! Мясо... отличное ощущение от оружия и повсюду кровища от выстрела из дробовика! Неплохо проработан дизайн уровней, враги и даже небольшие загадки. А чего стоит заглянуть после прохождения игры в дополнительный бонус) найти разработчика)) увидеть старые мемы. Ну и конечно дополнительные игры)))) Ну вы блин даете! Заключительно: игра хорошая! Стоит своих денег и вашего внимания, однозначно!!! Разрабы, Владик) Топите ДАЛЬШЕ!!! Ждем еще от вас шутеров! Только давайте без невидимых кровососов))) А то как в меме про угонщика)

Уровни под землёй унылы и мне они не сильно зашли, также как и враги зомби, мутанты.
Да монстры сами по себе делятся на подвиды но всё равно не так интересны как полноценные солдаты потому что зомби неважно будь это рядовой зомби, невидимая чупакабра, мутант вылупившийся из яйца или ядерный толстяк просто идут (бегут, прыгают) на тебя. Из этой компании выделяется только женщина мутант которая может орать на тебя и плодить мелких зомби (которые тоже бегут на тебя).
Боссы прикольные но все позаимствованы из Халфы и переделаны на свой лад, но убиваются проще.
Также мне кажется игре не хватает более разнообразных боевых сценариев и арен пазлов.

Какая ж бессвязная рыготина
По началу я думал что это такой стиль игры, много сатиры, отсылок на современную культуру. Но чем дольше ты в нее играешь тем больше понимаешь что ближе к концу игры разработчики просто забили на оптимизацию, на дизайн арен и в целом на сюжет которого там и так нет по большей части.
Самое смешное то что игра может просто зафризить в моменте и упасть до 20 fps просто потому что определенные мобы заспавнились и их модельки пидорасит по всей карте. Это я еще не говорю про кучу зависаний и отказ работы игры помогала только перезагрузка.
Спасибо разрабам, поел говна, было очень вкусно. Жду вторую часть с нетерпением!

Vladik Brutal is an immersive sim with layered physics which are mainly used for puzzles. Yes everything is on a TEMU budget and half broken but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is it attention retaining.Nothing is too bad to push you off the hook and the highest of highs are giving the hall of fame of ancient AAA productions a serious run for their money.
I paid 4,50€ for it on the 3rd party market. if you want a ~8h bingeable campaign and dont mind using google 2-5x to find the next map transition then you might want to play the game.
TLDR i can barely wait for the next game of the lone madman who crafted this. i want more, games like Cultic are outcompeting billion dollar FPS titles, not just for me but debatably for a large percentage of the whole market.

What we all need, definitely reminds me of HL2 in the best ways, reminds me a lot of Sin Episodes in terms of brutality and speed. Sin Episodes, while faulty, had amazing feel, and the gore was excellent.
IF I had to provide any criticism, it would be how some of the physics objects behave, their components become spectral and stop interacting with one anotehr / player. I wish I knew about this when it came out, it's a keeper.
Играть просто неинтересно. Сюжета никакущий, от слова, совсем. Геймплей вторичный, пытающийся копировать half life, но ты просто бежишь и стреляешь в толпу, которая бежит и стреляет/прыгает на тебя. Графика вроде есть, но атмосферы нет. Бетонная коробка для тебя остаётся просто бетонной коробкой. Монстры, местные комбайны с надписью "милиция" и т.д. ничем не цепляют. Итого 3 из 10

Réalisé par un seul homme, il constitue une prouesse qui mérite d'être saluée, bien qu'elle se montre imparfaite.
S'il ne cache pas ses influences, en particulier celles des jeux de Valve, Vladik Brutal en présente une variation plaisante.
Pour autant quelques points sont à déplorer, à commencer par une difficulté mal équilibrée.
Certains ennemis se déplacent systématiquement en hordes, attirés comme des aimants par le joueur, tandis que d'autres se déplacent avec une rapidité et une précision de tir parfois déconcertantes. Le tout couplé avec une résistance qui pourra s'avérer frustrante.
Certains chapitres se concluent par des combats de boss dont la résolution manque parfois de clarté. A noter que l'usage de certaines armes pourra dans certains cas faire pencher la balance en faveur du joueur de manière très rapide, ce qui pourra ajouter à la confusion.
La fin du jeu se montre pour sa part trop longue et trop exigeante, je me suis lassé avant d'arriver à son terme.
Sur le plan graphique le constat est mitigé, mais globalement le jeu est agréable à l'oeil même si certaines incohérences d'architecture pourront être notées ça et là et si certaines textures pourront se montrer inégales.
Sur le plan sonore, rien à redire, le jeu dispose de bruitages, voix et musiques qui ne manquent pas de faire leur effet.
La localisation du jeu n'est certes est perfectible, mais elle a le mérite d'exister malgré tout.
En résumé Vladik Brutal est un jeu imparfait mais malgré tout attachant et méritant, l'important étant d'être conscient de ses défauts afin de faire un choix d'achat éclairé.

В целом, игра душноватая, но концовка стоит того. Последний бой прям очень экшоновый. Ну и достижения душноватые.
Vladik Brutal is a first-person shooter released in 2003 in a parallel universe where the Soviets won the cold war. If this premise doesn't get you hard what are you even doing here?

За час игры вообще не понял во что играю и зачем, возврат, лучше бы разраб заботился об игре, а не о визуале

Janky, Russian HL2 - and in that way, very charming. I played this and it felt like an indie-scaled version of Russian HL2 mods - Snowdrop Escape and Swelter come to mind. Bear in mind a lot of the fun here is in recognising how this feels a lot like an ambitious and unrefined mod of a particular style over the core game itself, and your mileage will vary depending on how much HL2 and its modding scene means to you.

Данная игра это смесь Half Life и Doom,мне очень зашло

Респект, что делал один, но затянул. И это видно по концовке. Но в любом случае это годный шутан. Спасибо за игру.
Если учесть тот факт что игру делал 1 человек 4 года,это очень даже не плохо,cюжет средний,стрелять сочно,импакт есть) матерки,кровища,юмор)рекомендую!

This game is a cross of so many FPS games, its worth the time to play.
Образцовый шутер на послерабочее время. Глоток непринужденности, просто захочешь и месишься. Напоминает квейк + hl2. Самое главное в шутере - это боевка- и, черт возьми, она приятная. Каждое оружие одного класса ведет себя по своему. Стрельбу чувствуешь, борешься с отдачей на штурмовке без глушителя.
Кстати, не сказать, что игра простая. Играл на среднем, но под конец пришлось даже попотеть, как в старые добрые.
Сюжет. Он легкий и непринужденный. И это идеально. Не надо вникать в историю ГГ, прочих персонажей, которых ты уже забыл, когда не заходил больше недели, как в AAA проектах. Проблема в том, что когда взрослеешь - все меньше времени на действительно важные вещи - игры в стиме- приходится тратить большее время на работу, чтобы после нее придти зае?№№"ыым и ничего не хотеть. Сюда же я заходил, даже когда был очень зае**ан)
Если в раздумьях - перестань думать, покупай ее и проходи. Не пожалеешь. Мне повезло- была скидка, купил ее за 100 с небольшим. Но я бы отдал и больше.
Итог. На удивление приятнейшая игра со своей атмосферой (пост-совок, саундтреки, юмор, пасхалки), хорошей графикой (!), стрельбой (!). И это сделал 1 человек буквально. 10/10.
Жду следующих проектов.
Game is all that and a bag of chips. I hope the make DLC for this. Weapons feel great , level design is great. Boss fights a great.
