Really Like AND Loved The Game
In 100 Jahren hätte ich das Spiel nicht lösen können! Viel zu verzwickt und unlogisch. Selbst mit 2 verschiedenen Komplettlösungen habe ich mich schwer getan. Die eine war nur schriftlich mit Bildern, eine andere mit Videos. Beide zusammen haben mich dann das Spiel schaffen lassen. Am Anfang dachte ich noch: "Okay, hier bleibst du hängen, schau mal nach" und dann wieder selber denken, hahaha. Aber irgendwann war ich so frustriert das ich nur noch an Hand der beiden Lösungen das durchgespielt habe. Ich muss zugeben das ist nicht ganz mein Genre, ich dachte ich hätte ein Point & Click Adventure gekauft, aber das hier sind nur Rätsel!
Ich war so froh als ich es endlich durch hatte! Was für eine Qual!

Super buggy, the ending is incredibly confusing on how to actually defeat the end boss and several tutorials people are asking the same thing. Cute game but an absolute disaster in game play.
Nach mehrmaligen versuchen bleibe ich immer an der selben stelle Hängen, bei den Ameisen. Das spiel hängt sich immer bei der Leiter auf und bei mehrmaligen neustarten und neuen Spielständen, wird der Bildschirm auch oft einfach weiß oder man kann sich einfach nicht mehr bewegen. Deinstallieren und neu Installieren, hat leider auch keine Besserung ergeben. An für sich mochte ich das spiel, da ich echt auf Click & Point Games stehe, aber dieses Hier hat mich mit ihren Fehlern echt enttäuscht. Wenn das irgendwann behoben wird, spiele ich es gern wieder und kann diese Rezession überarbeiten.

Nuestra misión será restaurar el amuleto que nos transportó a este fantástico mundo, para poder regresar a casa, pero para ello tendremos que ayudar a una gran amalgama de fantásticos personajes gracias a los poderes mágicos que iremos adquiriendo explorando este mundo, como la telequinesis, flotar en el aire o hacer crecer plantas, poderes que podremos usar en determinados puntos de nuestra aventura.

Violett ofrece en torno a 7 horas de entretenimiento, así como una historia de cuento claramente inspirada en Alicia en el País de las Maravillas, con escenarios sobrenaturales, animales parlantes y muchos elementos mágicos. Hay que resaltar que el movimiento de la protagonista es algo engorroso y la manera de jugar no se siente del todo fluida, siendo una aventura con sus amantes y detractores, pues la jugabilidad e historia dejan que desear, pero su diseño y los puzzles son bastante buenos. Por otro lado, el juego desaprovecha algunos de sus elementos clave, por ejemplo, los coleccionables, a pesar de ser abundantes, no tienen un claro impacto en el juego y algunos poderes se sienten inútiles en la mayor parte de la aventura. En resumen, Violett es un juego resultón, aceptable para los amantes de las aventuras gráficas tradicionales y de los cuentos de fantasía, pero con una jugabilidad mejorable.

I tried to give this game a chance, but no. It's Alice in Wonderland if Alice were an annoying, angsty teenager and the book were a tedious and poorly designed game. I don't like games without dialogue at the best of times, but this one is the worst of times, with zero explanation as to what the hell is going on at any point, aside from diary entries that don't explain anything. Why is Violett in this weird fantasy world? What's the objective? Why am I supposed to be doing any of this? I have no idea, which is not sufficient motivation to slog through the tedious puzzles in this "point and drag," since simple design mechanics were too hard for the devs, I guess.
Also, the 2D art for the intro cutscene is so nice. No idea why they went with much worse 3D graphics where Violett can get stuck behind a spoon or something.
Oh, and to add to all the fun, the game crashes a lot.
Violett is basically a mediocre Alice in Wonderland rip-off. Visually, the game is attractive enough, and the audio is pleasant, with the exception of a few jarring noises here and there. Most of the puzzles are straightforward and there is even a sense of curiosity that the game evokes every time you enter a new area. Unfortunately, the gameplay is very tedious and gets boring fast. There is a lot of pointless backtracking, a lot of hidden object searching for barely visible pebbles you need to fight the final boss, and a lot of bugs, which range from cursor disappearing to animations getting stuck. Fortunately, restarting the game fixes these issues. Pebble-hunting is made more annoying by the inconsistent cursor icons which often do not change correctly when you are over interactive areas. And the level design overall makes it very hard to figure out where the walk-able path lies. Unless you have nothing better to play, don't waste your time here.

Enjoyed the game ♥ The game is not YES or NO, it's OK. The lack of voice over to drive explanation and story quite tangible. It's not the worst game, but I understand why some Pipka (aka the people) did not like it. Machinarium is a game example where things done well.
Point-and-click-adventure with some hidden object gameplay (pearl collecting). The puzzles are mostly logical and you won't need the built-in hint system, it takes a good while to unlock anyways. Not sure if its time-based or just requires tons of clueless tinkering with objects. The graphis are meh but I think the game is a decade old so, maybe it is not that bad. Soundtrack and theme are playful and classical, almost mythological, which is common for Eastern European developers. Big downside is the massive unskippable travel between the areas, so much walking back and forth... and there are a few bugs that break the game, so far though nothing a load of an earlier save couldn't fix.

This Game is a lot about backtracking, waiting until Violet walked through a room and randomly guess which part of the Background can be interacted with. I did not had fun playing.
Also the Boss fight was kinda buggy and i needed to redo it like 8 times before i finally did it. And its a cheap boss fight. The Game needed to be reset a bunch of times because the character got stuck in an animation or wouldnt do what they should do (like changing clothes.)
Cheap, that is the one thing I can say about this game. Everything feels oh so cheap.

Я, честно говоря, был удивлён, как такая симпатичная игра может быть такой тупой - если верить пользовательским ревю и оценкам Метакритика. Посмотрел. Ответ: никак, она не тупая. Видимо, тем, кто пишет про "нелогичные головоломки", "отсутствие сюжета" и "невнятные подсказки" просто не достаёт сообразительности, чтобы "решить" игру, а не просто пройтись по подсказкам.
Да, да, в игру встроены подсказки - по четыре на каждую локацию - которые полностью решают головоломки за вас. И даже на них находятся желающие пожаловаться, сообщая, что "ничего не понятно, кто придумал графические подсказки?!" Не знаю, не знаю. Лично я использовал подсказки раза четыре за игру - и каждый раз оказывалось, что я пропустил что-то очевидное - типа открытой двери прямо под носом или перетягиваемого вентиля. Единственный недостаток подсказок - они даются строго по порядку, поэтому если застрял где-то ближе к концу этапа, придётся сначала прослушать подсказки на то, что ты уже решил.
Сюжет на самом деле звёзд с неба не хватает, но то же можно сказать о куче других хороших адвентюр. Да хоть тех же Goblins. Девочка Виолетта, приехав в новый дом с семьёй, находит загадочный амулет, который переносит её в странную страну разумных насекомых - как раз в доме и под ним. Виолетта, разумеется, хочет выбраться обратно, но это совсем не так просто...
Игрушка изначально мобильная, поэтому небольшая. К сожалению, от телефона ей достался ещё один врождённый недостаток: встроенная обязательная мини-игра Hidden Objects. Все проблемы, что ждут вас в игре (и не связаны с недостатком логики) будут исходить от того, что Вы не клацнули в нужное место. К счастью, 90% нужных для сюжета вещей находятся по визуальным подсказкам, а действительно хорошо спрятанные жемчужины, в общем, не так уж и нужны. Их единственное применение - последняя битва, и лично я её и так прошёл, не прибегая ни к чему, кроме атак.
Родной язык игры - польский (и с него был переведён русский), но это для игры, в общем, неважно: текста, необходимого для игры, в самой игре нет. Вся необходимая информация подаётся в графическом виде - включая диалоги. Текстом даётся только дневник, который служит исключительно для информации о мире. Правда, русский перевод умудрился дать сбой даже на этой несчастной дюжине страниц: часть переведена не совсем точно, а информация о щипалках вообще напрочь отсутствует (вместо неё вставлен текст о кротосурках). Впрочем, я посмотрел английский - там тоже неточно, плюс вообще целые абзацы оригинального текста пропущены.
Если бы не мизерная продолжительность (я закончил игру за 6 часов) и изнурительный поиск скрытых объектов, игра была бы чудо как хороша. Но даже так свои 75 баллов она точно заработала. Рекомендую!

My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old.
When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

Beautiful visual and OKish audio. But that's the only positive thing i can say about this game. As many reviwer said, the puzzle design isn't intuitive. Not only you frequently use hint, the hint only helpful sometimes. There's not much story/narrative either, so it's not easy to know where to go or what exactly you should do.
It's not terrible game, but i can't recommend this game unless you're big fan of point-and-click enthusiast and being very patient. In case you're not familiar with old-school adventure/point-and-click game, i'd recommend you look for more polished titles such as "Deponia", "Milkmaid of the Milky Way" or "The Journey Down".

A well designed game makes a player feel like an idiot when you look at hints. Like, seriously, how did I miss that??? This game, not so much. I was looking at hints to figure out what to do and even then the reason why something worked or did't and why was not clear.

Malo el juego al principio es complicado empezar a jugarlo, pero se puede coger el tiro una de las cosas es que tiene muchos bugs, la historia no llena y muy complicado los puzzles

I want to like this game but my friends and I had too many moments where we were frustrated and confused to recommend it.
The art is very nice, very unique. The story is interesting, from what we could piece together. Some of the puzzles were fun and creative. Other puzzles required a lot of random trial and error to see what did what. There was a lot of backtracking especially near the end. I don't feel the interface was adjusted properly when coming over from mobile since a few areas were made more difficult because the cursor wouldn't be the correct symbol we needed (interact vs. walking sort of thing). A 'right click to walk' would have helped a lot. The clues weren't always the most helpful, I get they're just pictures so they're not feeding you the answer but they hit a point where they're not helping in what one is immediately stuck on. Also the end of the game [spoiler] involved a boss fight, which is something that never happened before[/spoiler] and the interface was not only confusing half the time it wasn't doing what we needed or we're expecting by matching the motions we'd been shown at the start of the very last area.
If you do wish to give this game a try, go out of your way to collect all the beads, it'll help in a way you won't realize you need until the very end.
It's not a bad game. It's just a frustrating one which is why I sadly cannot recommend it. I really did want to like this game and at points, we were having fun. But overall we're not going to be replaying it to get that 100% completion.

trate pero muchas veces no funcionan las cosas al hacerles click y tenes que sacar el juego y volver a entrar, es dificil y se que hay gente que le gusta eso e incluso tiene pistas pero si en menos de 3 horas de juego lo tuve que reinicisar mas de 5 veces y salir del escenario y volver a entrar para interactuar con las cosas no vale la pena lo barato
Навіщо робити пригоду у сеттингу для дитячої аудиторії, але настільки складну, нелогічну, неінтуітивну, що впоратися з деякими місцями і дорослому з проходженням буде важко? Ще й такі начебто очевидні речі, як підсввчування активних елементів на локації чи швидке переміщення (ау, ви чого?!) затягують процес. А, так, у грі постійно трапляються якісь дивні баги, які ламають проходження. Їх можна "полагодити" вийшовши і повернувшинь на локацію, але коли загадка і так нелогічна, зрозуміти, що то баг застопорив тебе, а не ти не зрозумів що робити - важко. Ще деякі сіери, які потрібно збирати, розташовані так, що їх неможливо зібрати, дуже в дусі розробників гри.

An ok "Alice-like" adventure game about a girl in a magic and surreal world. It has no text at all (besides some creatures encyclopedia), so you must relay entirely on interpretation of dialogues with drawings and experimentation.
Very nice relaxing game to play but I got stuck and not sure where i must go next. I really still want to finish the game. The soundtracks of this game is amazing, I love to listen to it. Very nice graphics too. I hope they can make more games like these.

This game was super fun! Challenging, though not impossible, and the rules of the world reveal themselves nicely as you progress. I really loved the art, the non-linear progression, and the through lines in the puzzles.
A few bugs, though they were all fixed by taking actions in a different order or exiting and re-entering a room.

Podobnie jest z Violett, naszą bohaterką, która na swoje szczęście znajduje w swoim nowym pokoju tajemniczy przedmiot, który przenosi ją do magicznego świata. Not everyone likes moving from the city to the countryside. It is similar with Violett, our heroine, who fortunately finds a mysterious object in her new room that transports her into a magical world. J'ai adoré les graphisme de ce jeu ainsi que sa douceur. Je suis en train de le refaire.
I enjoyed this game overall. The art is outstanding, the music is pleasant, and it is cute and fun to play, with lots of surprises. Some puzzles don't have much logic to them, and there is some pixel hunting, but the whimsical magical world is engaging enough that I didn't mind.
J'aurais aimé pouvoir donner un bon avis à ce jeu, mais je ne le recommanderais à absolument personne. A l'exception des graphismes qui sont propres et la bande son que j'ai trouvé agréable, les énigmes ne sont pas intuitives, le joueur n'a aucune idée de comment ni pourquoi telle interaction provoque tel effet. L'histoire est pauvre voir inexistante, et pour couronner le tout, le jeu est truffé de bugs en tout genre dont un qui m'empêche à 5 minutes de la fin d'enfin en finir.

A mixture of hidden object and adventure-style puzzle game. Not a very good one at that. It doesn't help that in the midst of trying to solve something, instead I reveal another hidden object, and I loathe hidden object games.
It relies too much on random trial and error to really be a fun problem solving game and with that, I'm not gonna bother finishing it; it looks pretty good but its too obtuse for its own good and ends up feeling like a chore to play. Some of the lengthier negative reviews pretty much nail this game's virtues and problems on the head so I won't bother reiterating their talking points.

It's an oddly enjoyable puzzle game. The most frustrating part is the controls ironically enough. The puzzles can be a bit difficult, but the hints are there to 'sorta help...sorta'. My favourite bit is that it's not completely linear rooms. You usually have an option of exploring multiple areas and doing different routes first, Honestly it's different enough from most puzzle games that I think it's worth trying. Music is really good, suggest picking it up bundled with the ost.

Getting to 100% was...quick in this simple hidden object game combined with a point and click. I recommend using a guide to not have to backtrack that much.
There is no tracker for the orbs, No way to know if you have missed it.. and 1/3 and 2/3 through the game the inventory tracker gets removed :| You have to rely on guides and self tracking at that point.
Overall.. yeah... Something small to play as a palate cleanser between more serious games.
