I only tried it for a few minutes but I couldn't get into it. E.g. the belt shows health and stuff but it's so far down that I can hardly see it without doing a cartwheel and it doesn't matter whether I'm sitting or standing. The controls just feel off and I've got a thousand hours or two in VR so I know a trick or two. Refunded.
Avec ses graphismes cartoons assez simplistes dans l'ensemble mais stylisés, il arrive a avoir une très bonne ambiance & des effets de lumières qui relèvent le niveau.
Par contre pas vraiment d'histoire élaboré, ni de RPG à proprement parlé, le but étant simplement d'avancer dans les donjons linéaires & combattre les ennemis à l’épée+bouclier, en résolvant quelques petites énigmes basiques par endroits, ramasser le plus de trésors possible (pour acheter des armes) avec la possibilité de grimper sur les cordes & chaînes...
De très bonnes interactions avec les torches & le feu, des combats libres simples mais intenses avec des ennemis qui éviteront les coups si on enchaîne les mêmes attaques.
On débloquera aussi un arc, des marteaux & un bâton de sort de feu très efficace...
Malgré diverses options, les contrôles peuvent être un peu rudimentaires & il ne sera pas super pratique que chaque objet qu'on prenne en main y reste collé avec un petit temps de latence pour les relâcher...
De même, l'inventaire a du mal à suivre notre position & nos mouvements & peut être gênant assez souvent...
Les déplacements peuvent être libre mais certains nécessiteront la téléportation & sont pensé pour.
Avec un 1er chapitre vraiment agréable de 2-3 heures, la suite 'Rite of Steel' n'est qu'une succession de 9 arènes de 5mn maxi avec les ennemis du 1er chapitre... pas super si on termine sur ça...
Pour avoir l'expérience complète, le DLC 'The Sundered Rift' continue avec les 3ème & 4ème chapitres absolument massifs qui rajoutent vraiment beaucoup plus de choses, avec un gameplay plus étoffé.
Remplis de pièges a déjouer & un peu plus d'énigmes qu'on aurait pu attendre du 1er chapitre, de nouveaux ennemis, de nouvelles armes dont dague, lance, haches & marteaux qu'on pourra lancer, le tout dans des zones plus grandes & variées avec un cycle jour/nuit.
Après un premier donjon donc, on arrivera sur un hub central avec 5 nouvelles zones a explorer pour dénicher 5 reliques & enfin accéder à une dernière zone de fin & ses boss.
Un extension indispensable vu qu'elle fait bien le double de la campagne du jeu de base avec des scènes d'actions encore plus intenses & marquantes...
Ce serait dommage de se priver des 2/3 du jeu avec son côté dungeon-crawler bien plus renforcé...

For an older title with some dated looking graphics it still holds up thanks to the art style. I had a lot of fun with it after about 3 hours and there is still a chapter to go. The only thing missing is smooth turning. I didn't mind the snap turning after a few minutes playing. If you are looking at this and thinking it's too old, just give it a shot. I'm definitely going to finish this one.

might ve been good back in the early early days of VR. but today it is not very good or interesting.
sono a due terzi della storia e mi sta piacendo davvero molto, è stata una sorpresa. L'inizio è lento e non spiegano alcune meccaniche (p.e. che ci si può arrampicare sulle catene e le corde). Inoltre se uno si blocca online si trovano walkthrough vecchi che adesso dopo le patch non valgono più perchè hanno cambiato alcune parti di level design, quindi si deve fare attenzione. detto questo, il gioco è un dark dungeon fantasy abbastanza canonico nelle meccaniche (si combatte con spada, arco e bastone magico) e si risolvono alcuni enigmi (facili). L'engine grafico è Unity ed è usato decentemente, sebbene non sia il punto forte del gioco. Ho gradito davvero molto l'arco, che funziona benissimo (cosa non scontata, visto che in tanti giochi fa pena). Gioco assolutamente consigliato.
I've played through it twice now. Took about 3 hours per playthrough, so not exactly a long game.
It was the grandfather of all other VR "RPG's", and frankly it doesn't lag that far behind its competitors despite its age. Which sadly says more about its competitors than anything else.
It has some of that classic "early vr game" jank gameplay wise, but to their credit some of this has been updated overtime to be somewhat more in line with modern VR standards. It still shows in quite a few things though, but it's not unbearable like in some other old VR games. The only REALLY bad things I can think of are the short length, the horrible menu and [spoiler]the ending being an arena gauntlet. [/spoiler] The combat also didn't age well, but is still good enough for the 3 hours it lasts.
Is it actually an rpg? Well there's no talents, no classes, no dialogue options, not even much choice in weapons, you can save up gold to buy weapons but you run into these shops along the way, and you'll always have enough gold to buy what they're offering if you're paying attention. So buying them is almost always a no brainer, and often even required to progress.
In short. it's a quick, simple but fun enough dungeon crawl, not a real deep rpg.
So, is it still worth it? Not for full price. Not for 3 hours. On a deep discount? Sure. There's not a lot of these to go around. So you may as well check out the OG.
As far as I was aware, this had taken the title of being the king of VR games for years. It's a little disappointing but entirely understandable (considering when it was out) how much more there was to be desired from the game. I think it really proved a strong point for VR potential, but even myself could not figure out how you could get movement to work in a VR environment that was not controller based.
There's a lot to be said, but I think it's an excellent experience.
So hey, I don't know if this game has ever been any good, but I can tell you, in 2024, DO NOT BUY THIS. Like, seriously.
This is bad. Gameplay is boring. Fights are tedious. AI is sooo bad. They will just look at you shooting arrows to them like braindead vegetables ...
The only good point is that it lasted less than 2 hours. Yes, I ended this in 2 hours, and i'm glad it was that fast.
Thank god I did not buy this full price.

Great immersion. It was fun getting to watch others do over the top combat moves in my living room.
A good RPG using various weapons.
The base game is a basic dungeon crawl, but with some nice mechanics. Melee combat allows blocking/parrying, you can climb ropes or chains, and there are traps and puzzles as well as monsters.
But it is in the DLC (The Sundered Rift) that the game really finds its stride, with a wider variety of monster types, more mechanics and more story.
The graphics are a bit cartoony, but that is ok. The only flaws are sometimes it is impossible to drop items (especially planks for crossing pits and chasms). I once found myself in a battle holding two feathers that I could not drop or put in my inventory). Suffice to say, that did not end well, as the developer had not implemented the "tickle your opponent to death" attack.
Highly recommended.

Vanishing Realms in 2024 feels very dated as the combat and movement simply doesn't feel good. Not to mention the lack of settings and options to fit your VR playstyle. There are some endearing moments in the game, and I enjoy the silliness of weightlessly climbing ropes to grab trophies. I will likely not be revisiting Vanishing Realms.
Most VR Titles feel like demo's. This is a fully fleshed and fun to play deep dive VR game.

Trotzdem hat mich das Spiel nach praktisch jeder Session mit einem unterwältigenden Gefühl zurückgelassen. Und dabei ist es nicht wirklich schlecht gemacht.
[b]So werden hier die Klingen gekreuzt[/b]
Die Kämpfe funktionieren prinzipiell. Gegner blocken gerade auf dem hohen Schwierigkeitsgrad sehr fleißig und haben verschiedene Angriffsbewegungen. Wir müssen teilweise wirklich schnell sein und eine offene Stelle gezielt attackieren, um einen Treffer zu landen. Das fühlt sich manchmal trotzdem nach wildem Rumgestochere aber immer wieder auch nach tatsächlichen intensiven Schwertduellen an.
Höflicherweise wird man - die Fernkämpfer und Bossgegner mal ausgenommen - immer nur von einem Feind gleichzeitig attackiert. Das sorgt für Kontrolle, die generell vorherrschende Passivität der meisten Gegnertypen legt aber auch cheesy Taktiken nahe. Warum in den Nahkampf wagen, wenn der Boss nicht mit der Levelgeometrie klarkommt und deshalb auch easy aus der Ferne eliminiert werden kann?
Dann muss man auch nicht so sehr mit der Inventarübersicht kämpfen, die sich wohl mit dem Spieler drehen soll aber eher gegen einen arbeitet. Ein Heiltrank mitten in der Schlacht aus seinem Vorrat zu fischen, wird so manchmal fast zur größeren Herausforderung als der Kampf selbst. Das haben andere VR-Spiele schon deutlich besser hinbekommen - durch Controller mit Bewegungstracking und Co sind die Möglichkeiten hier ja auch mannigfaltig.
Ach ja...Controller. Aus irgendeinem Grund sind unsere Hände aka Controller als sterile weiße Kugeln dargestellt, die so gar nicht in die Welt passen.
[b]Die Welt dreht sich schneller in der VR[/b]
Generell merkt man Vanishing Realms deutlich an, dass es ein Spiel aus der ersten VR-Generation ist. Das Releasejahr 2019 kann täuschen, denn das Spiel erschien schon 2016 im Early Access. Und gerade in diesem Zeitraum hat sich extrem viel getan in Sachen VR-Spielen. So erschien 2019 zum Beispiel auch das in der nordischen Mythologie angesiedelte Rollenspiel Asgard's Wrath. Daran haben natürlich viel mehr Leute gearbeitet, aber dennoch fällt auf, wie sich dieser VR-Titel auch in seinen Kernmechaniken viel moderner anfühlt und massiv besser gealtert ist.
[b]Die Frage nach dem Genre[/b]
Apropos Rollenspiel - Vanishing Realms hat auch einen solchen Anstrich und bezeichnet sich prominent auf der Steam-Shopseite als "immersives RPG". Das würde ich so nicht bestätigen. Ich sehe es vielmehr als Action-Adventure, das mit seinem Look, der Existenz von Bossgegnern, dem Dungeon-Design und dem einsammelbarem Geld (das für neue Waffen ausgegeben werden kann) schon ein paar Rollenspiel-Merkmale aufweist.
Aber für ein waschechtes RPG hat Vanishing Realms mit etwa drei Stunden einfach nicht die nötige Spieldauer, um bedeutenden Charakterfortschritt oder irgendwelche tiefergehenden Systeme zu ermöglichen. Das passt eigentlich auch, aber die eigene Beschreibung des Entwicklers kann falsche Erwartungen wecken.
Die Präsentation des Spiels fand ich nach wie vor recht stimmig - auch wenn vom Artdesign über die Materialqualität und die Effekte bis zur Soundkulisse so gut wie alles ziemlich simpel wirkt.
Die Heldengeschichte wird in kurzen Textboxen erzählt und ist nicht weiter der Rede wert. Die Spielwelt bekommt auch in dieser Hinsicht keine wirklich interessanten Merkmale verliehen.
Zugänglich sind mit dem Hauptspiel nur die ersten beiden Kapitel. Der dritte Akt wurde per kostenpflichtigem DLC nachgeliefert. Der Abschluss von Kapitel 2 passt aber schon, die Story spielt ja im Grunde eh keine Rolle.

I've had this game for some time now, and love it. So much so, that I bought it as gift for my sister in the US (I'm in Canada).
I've since discovered that you apparently can't do this, it's not allowed. Then I went looking for a way to give feedback to Steam, and wasn't too awfully surprised that there's no way to contact them at all. So, while it's a great game, one I highly recommend, in the future I will no longer be buying games, gift cards, or anything else from Steam, for family in the USA. Steam should have found a workaround of some sort for this, but instead, all they've done is make part of there customer base angry.
Honestly I do not understand why this game is so well rated. The entire time I played, the controls were very primitive compared to many of the vr games out now, the combat was mediocre, and the enemies were horrible, the way they swung was annoyingly repetitive, and the swords were really annoying and uncomfortable to use. A very boring, Uninteresting game, with pretty bad enemies, and pretty bad mechanics. 3/10

Fun adventure, short but well done
You literally cant play this game when you are not on a Vive, because you cant reach out to certain things. For example, you cannot bend down or reach objects.
And to the point i played it, it was nothing special. Just looting rooms and fighting enemies in poorly made close combat fights.
This is the only VR game in which ive got motion sickness, because you have to turn around in the direction you want to go and not with the joystick like in every other game.
This game was really fun. I felt like I was a real adventurer doing adventurer stuff. Shooting bows, sword fighting, all of that.

Game's very boring and the combat doesn't feel responsive, insanely linear for a dungeon crawler too. Just shut it off after 30 minutes.
Lost interest in this one. The more I played, the more it became an outdated dungeon crawler with too many issues. For one thing, this game has a terrible save system where the save points are really far away and you can only use them one time. I was constantly replaying the same lengthy sections over and over again. There is also a highly annoying auto-pause feature where you are inexplicably taken out of the game and sent back to the main menu. You can disable this feature in the main menu, but it will reset to enabled once you exit the game. It is also very awkward switching weapons in this game because you must place items back into the inventory before you can change weapons. Items also seem to stick to your hands when trying to release them. And speaking of hands, you have no hands in this game, just PSVR controller looking balls. I also found that arrows would shoot on their own sometimes without me releasing them. As far as the enemies go, they could be annoying as well because they seem to cause damage through your shield and many of them are followed by a floating creature that keeps healing them. Another thing I didn't like is that there is very little direction where to go or what to do and I found myself having to reference a walkthough occasionally. Overall, I just did not enjoy my time spent with this game and I cannot recommend it.
VR devs really need to ask themselves when they release a game: "Is this fun"?
Answer: No! This is NOT a good game. I'm honestly not sure what mind-altering substances people voting this up are using, but I'm jealous I don't have access to these amazing drugs that make bad VR games good. I have a plethora of VR games, and in my vast wisdom and experience, beg you not to buy this.
1) No hands. Instead, blue balls denoting what your hands would be. Seriously? For a 2019 VR game?
2) The smooth locomotion feels bad, like a floaty camera.
3) You can not jump/drop off an edge. You must teleport. The game seems designed around teleport... 2019 VR game??
4) The menu interactions are clunky and weird. Far from intuitive...just confusing and frustrating.
5) Way too much "candle lighting" actions. Seems all secrets are revealed by lighting candles or drapes. Super yawn.
I couldn't give this game anymore time. It's just not fun. This is not what VR enthusiasts are looking for in an RPG. It's because of games like this that the VR market is absolutely dogs***, and we're so desperate for good VR content we get fooled into thinking games like this are worth anything anything more than $5.

EDIT: I have found one very infuriating feature to this game, some might find it a fun challenge but It's oh so annoying. You have to get all achievements in one playthrough. Any achievement you get in one save, doesn't pass on to the other save and gets removed from your steam account....I still enjoy the game but as an achievement collector, this brings me emotional pain
Amazing game and DLC!
Had a blast playing this, the fighting gave me a good arm workout and I had great fun hoarding cheese.
You have the choice of using locomotion and smooth movement (I used both, mostly smooth and loco for jumping around and when I get impatient that I'm not moving fast enough)
The smooth movement is where your left hand is pointing and the only issue I had with this was when trying to move around while fighting, but other than that It was fine!
Getting the hang of aiming with the bow takes a moment but It's great fun, throwing weapons seem to auto aim a bit which makes me a little sad but I still had a blast laughing and throwing things at enemies.
There's in game achievments (some are a little confusing and there's no guides online so you're on your own). I wish there was an achievment for how much cheese I hoarded but there isn't.
Great game, I bought this a while back when it was on a steam sale and I say It's very worth it!! 100% Get the DLC too.
VR games need to have important info on the store page, such as can you play this sitting down! Especially for people with mobility issues also if you can only use blink movement. I won't bother refunding a £4 purchase but I would not have bought it had I known either of these two things. Who knows maybe there is a mod

Поиграл немного. Ну вот все равно не то.. не моя это игра. И дело не в графике. Графика такая угловатая, слишком кукольная. Но я играл в игры с подобной графикой и они были интересны для меня, хотя и намного проще этой игры.
Думаю, что такая игра на любителя. Мне не хватило динамики, музыки фоновой, управление не очень было для меня удобным.
Но, думаю, что все таки стоит поиграть попробовать в такие игры. Возвращать ее не буду. Пусть будет в коллекции. Думаю, что разрабов надо все таки поддерживать. Молодцы, что делают такие масштабные игры!

The VR experience is alright, certainly nothing special nowadays. The combat, graphics and UI all feel outdated but useable. Story was too short and I don't feel like playing it again. There's simply too many better alternatives.

This has become one of my workout games. Put some weights on your wrists, and it gives a nice intense upper body workout with some squats.
Got this as part of a Humble Bundle package. While I would recommend this to students of VR to appreciate an early HTC Vive indie success, it has had its day and there are better games out there now. Comparatively, this game lacks complexity.

This game still holds up, and really established a lot of design philosophies that we STILL see working wonderfully in VR today!
This was the first game I really dug into way back when the original HTC Vive was released. At the time it was bundled with the Vive itself, so I really got an amazing introduction into what VR can offer. I finished the core game at the time (Chapter 1 & 2), and was on the lookout for the next installment.
Little did I know that the new 'release' was put out as a DLC!! I've since bought it, but wanted to give the core game a play-through again, curious to see how this would hold up many years (and design evolutions of VR) later. It really was a pioneer title. While there have been many great VR games since this initial release, it's truly amazing to think how well this game "got things right". Inventory management is still wonderful, environments are varied, and nothing really feels overly dated.
Very notably, you can tell the love and care put into this game -- it's hand-crafted and developed by a single individual. I hope that, financially and creatively, this game provided solid returns.
The combat might not be ultra-difficult, but I much prefer that to horribly-punishing combat to where it's not fun -- VR is much less forgiving than our mouse & keyboards, after all. It's still engaging enough to be fun here.
I'm hoping this (single!) dev continues creating VR adventures, as we definitely need good people in this field. VR seemed like a huge interest to people early on, but development in the field has definitely waned when (I think) returns financially didn't match the difficulty of development. This still shines as a wonderful example to this day, and I can't wait to start the DLC expansion tomorrow! :)
Starting playing this randomly and it turned out to be a lot better than I expected. It's worthwhile little gaming experience, so much so that I'm considering getting the DLC and I almost always never buy any DLC. Check out this game!
A lot of people say this game is out dated and most games made back In 16/17 are but this one definetly is not.
After owning 100+ VR titles this is still one of my favourite games. Really good graphics, very fun gameplay and a great story. Can’t wait to play more and recommend to any VR player out there.
What I really love about this game is the combat! Enemies know how to block, dodge, and strike so you can block their strikes with the shield or your sword and then counter-strike at the opportune time. There is no wiggling of the sword at the direction of the enemy until they die. It feels like authenticate combat.

Kupiłem to za grosze i można mieć z tego frajdę. Zatem gdzieś za jakieś parę złotych śmiało można kupować.
I hate to leave a negative review, but the combat totally ruins it for me. It's literally just a very simple back n forth where you swing, block, deflect, hit, sort of thing. There is no room for cool combos or anything of the sort. You must basically deflect the enemies shield or parry them in some form, THEN you can sneak one single strike in. It's very tedious and doesnt feel like proper VR combat to me when I'm used to something like Blade and Sorcery. I wanna give it another shot for the exploration and such, but right now I dont have much desire, as the combat really drags.
Fun little game, it has its problems (no physics, gripping and tossing can be tricky) but the overall feeling is pretty satisfying.

Le 1er chapitre fait dungeon crawler très old school et est plutôt sympathique (Compter 3h de jeu en prenant son temps). Le 2ème chapitre est un combat d'arène en vagues et est juste nulle.A petit prix, ça vaut le coût juste pour le 1er chapitre. Les graphismes et les mécanismes de jeu n'ont pas vieilli.

No head-oriented movement & no smooth turning option makes it virtually unplayable for me. Smooth movement is also much slower than teleport movement. I got it for $1 in the Humble Bundle and I still feel ripped off.
Played on Quest 2, completed in 2.6 hours. I received this game in a bundle, and while I feel I got my money's worth, I can't recommend this title in 2022. The controls take a bit of getting used to, but the biggest issue is how clunky the combat is. All melee weapons are straight-up unpleasant to use, though the bow is excellent. While having health/mana/inventory at your waist is pretty neat, the tracking is pretty bad, so every time you turn your weapons might be behind you.
While I'm sure this was a fantastic game when it came out, nowadays it's a bit bland.
Got this for $1 on the latest Humble Bundle. It is a fun game that I am looking forward to getting further into. I have played about the first half-hour but can say it is well worth it, especially considering the price I paid. I would have felt good paying even up to 10 for it. Definitely grab this one.
It was refreshing after coming off Elden Ring to continue with the challenging games like this. To even move in this game is so clunky it made fighting Malenia feel easy, and the initial disclaimer menu that you have to touch starts 15 feet from you regardless of reseting the view. I had to walk outside my house to touch it, amazing design! It's also really handy to have you life and mana down near your feet at all times, so when fighting you just have to look away from everything going on and shoegaze to determine your health.
If you go for the movement type that isn't teleporting, its very clunky. It for some reason locks the forward and reverse to the direction you tilted the right stick for instead of locking to your view. So you'll be pressing to go backwards and be going right, or some variation of going the wrong direction.
Combat feels clunky and unsatisfying. Every enemy has armor, most have shields to block attacks.
Found myself just spam swinging the sword to kill enemies instead of waiting for the random animation that allows a hit to connect.
Don't know when the last update was, maybe 2020? So dead game.

The bow for whatever reason is the best I've played with in a VR game. So it has at least one good thing going.
Playing with quest 2 on virtual desktop. I love the look and feel of this game. I found the controls and play very intuitive. I love the ability to climb around some of the scenes. I like how the enemies learn your tactics that you have to come up with new ways to combat them. Yes it may feel a little dated, but for me it is great.

The controls and movement do feel dated, but I adjusted to them in about 20 mins and then had a blast for the next 2.5 hours! Very enjoyable experience, looking forward to going through the additional DLC chapters.
Was in the humble bundle for about a dollar. That's about what it's worth. It's six years old now, and wasn't particularly interesting. There is no smooth turning, and some of the areas are designed around teleport movement, which isn't my favorite. The inventory belt tracking was also pretty bad, so everything was always in the wrong spot. You pick up items with trigger, which is bad, and you release them by holding the grip for about two seconds, which is immersion breaking and bad design.
This was best adventure VR game in 2016, which means the stone age in VR terms and it shows. It has not aged well. The whole experience is severely dated and not enjoyable in any sense. Got it on humble bundle for 1€.
Got bored in the first 15~ minutes of the game. Several problems I had were the fact that trying to get to the options to change your movement would always show up BEHIND me instead of in front or to the side. I also really don't like how you can't change the movement direction from your hand to your head. I especially didn't like the combat at all. Supposedly with other reviews it's really short, but I don't care enough to find out myself. Don't buy it.

The OG VR fighting game, while not as advanced as more modern titles, a great way to warm up to VR, or just have some fun.

per il resto gioco fluido e piacevole a vedersi, non ho avuto problemi di nausea.
direi che questo gioco è una buona base per futuri seguiti meglio strutturati, speriamo che la cosa avvenga presto.
I understand this game came out very early in the VR days. It introduced a lot of pioneering concepts. However playing in 2022, its just not fun. The World and art bring you in but the lack of a decent save system cobbled with clumsy boring combat actually made me give up with this halfway through the 3rd chapter. If the combat was fast paced and accurate I think I would carry on. But its slow and imprecise. Even when you wait for the opening most of the time the game won't register where you actually hit, making each single enemy a chore.

It's rather nice looking, you can feel some artist's pawprint in the skeletons with prognathic jaws or tiny archers hiding in oversized helmets. The gameplay is ok. You have to hit the enemies in their unarmored bits, and while they're not very quick, it's still a challenge in VR. There's the expected sword, shield, bow, further in the game you can also buy a two handed axe or a better sword. There is no spell casting, but near the end you get a magic wand. Levitating mages, and archers in unreachable spots, do force you to switch away from melee. There's the usual breaking of pots to find rupees, and some hand climbing on hanging chains, as in other VR titles, to reach secrets. The cover picture is a bit misleading, as nothing is even in this style in the game. Though you sport the exact same weapon set as that person. Also, I don't know who copied who, or if it even comes from a third game, but the ore mining is eerily similar to the one in Vengeful Rites, reviewed above.
My biggest issue with this game and the reason I am thumbing down is that it is way too short. It feels like there's only one level! And then a second level which is only a single arena room, with a handful of waves. I know VR games are usually shorter than flat games, but at 3hr long this is really stretching too much. Or too little, rather. I heard you can continue the adventure by buying the DLC, but that feels deceitful.

Ты живешь 2 пробития.(постепенно я набрал еще +30 хп на 3 хита). Враг живет 10 и более. Щиты здоровые - защититься проблем нет, но пробить их нельзя, а ждать тайминга когда враг незащищен - долго. Удары, независимо от скорости, размаха, т.д. т.п. наносят 4 хп урона.
Данжи узкие, пройти мимо противника нет возможности. Потому приходится бить всех подряд. Это не сложно, ведь мозгов у врага мало и он нападает по одному.
Лучники на открытых пространствах - ублюдки мелкие, раздражают из-за необходимости уклонятся от стрел. Появляются по 2-3-е + еще милишники.
Всего 7 разных противников на 76 минут.
Боёвка примитивна. 3 типа оружия (посох, меч/щит, лук) и "интерактивный" факел который поджигает многие объекты, чем можно пользоваться в бою.
Экономика всратая - топ меч 1500 золота, хилка на 20 хп (2 хита) 100 монет. лук 300-500, посох 1000. других товаров и не вовсе. с бота падает в лучшем случае 30-50 монет. Если выпадет вообще. Но нам дают возможность зарабатывать - кирку в руку и пиздуй в шахту хуярить золото. Очень интересно, мне понравилось! [spoiler](нет)[/spoiler]
Стишки имеются, простенькие, только для знающих английский. Озвучки нет.
Игра тухлая. Графики нет, звуков ударов 3 штуки, противники стоят на месте и не двигаются почти, прокачки нет, экономики нет, музыки нет, истории нет... как и зазря всратых 76 минут. очередное ебучее "инди".

Too buggy to enjoy. My sword disappeared from my hand. Died without it and loaded the last checkpoint. Sword still gone. Gold on the floor can't be picked up (HTC Vive). Breaking Jugs/Crates gives you gold but it doesn't fall to the ground and instead remains floating. Same for enemy loot. Luckily this bug prevents the other bug so at least you can grab some loot. Combat doesn't feel great. Blocking is decent but attacking feels very stale. If you do a wide swing of the sword it doesn't matter it'll only ever hit one target. Was hoping for a fun RPG but everything felt very basic and cheap. Most fun I had in the game was grabbing the rope and climbing. Bought it at 2 bucks so I won't refund it in the hopes that it gets a major update and becomes playable.
I got this game on sale long time ago, when I started it feels a little too scary for me, maybe because the music is very good :) but lately I was building my courage playing co ops with friends so I gave it another try. It wasn't scary at all, I was just a little chicken haha. The graphics are very nice, I usually say this, it's about how graphics make you feel when you are in VR, and I was immerse and happy with it. The story is very nice and I didn't feel lost, I got most of the achievements but I will get back for more and try the hard mode path. The normal mode is very simple, the combat is not complicated at all, weapons are working as intended, changing weapons is not very easy since you need to look down, but I decided to choose one weapon per fight and I was able to enjoy all of them. I didn't experience any bugs. I played with Index controllers. The enemies are very nicely design, the sword fight is clean, you can block the incoming attacks depending on the animation, same with casters and archers, you can dodge the incoming attacks moving your body to the sides, that is why I felt it was very immersive and perfect for VR. There are not a lot of jumps, in case you don't like scary things. Very nice game for the price and time when it was released. There is a DLC (chapter 3) that I added to my wish list. There are some combat but also some collection of items involved bringing a nice balance of action and discovery phases. I wish it was co -op :)
In 2019 this was probably cool as hell but in 2022 it seems dated. I bought it for 1 dollar so I guess I can't complain.
It's okay at best. BUT in for 2022, it is not very impressive.
It took under 2 hours for a VR veteran to easily beat. It might serve as a nice intro to VR but it lacks a major comfort feature for new players: HMD directed movement. I got it for 1.99 on sale and I only kinda recommend it at that price. Otherwise skip this for something newer and with more content.
My recommendation would be Vengeful Rites. 1000% better VR interactions and way longer campaign.

the game is vr ancient history and it shows, but it is full of good ideas. too bad that devs choose to say "we're done here" with just two levels that can be completed in a couple of hours total.
there are two more levels in the dlc that is not discounted. maybe for 1.50€ like the base game i would have bought it, but asking full price for that is insane.
Petit jeux bien sympathique en tant que premier jeux VR a l'épée et arbalète, pour 2€ franchement ça vaut le coup d'oeil mais je sais pas si il vaut plus, 1h de jeu et j'ai l'impression d'avoir quasi tout fait ! Sinon le reste est simpliste mais fait le taff que ça soit au niveau des animations et des textures. Les coups à l'épée sont plutôt correct et le bouclier qui est utile, C'est un oui, mais pas au prix fort !
Love the graphics and visuals. The art style is reminiscent of old school high fantasy, and the "feel" is like the DnD comics and dice games. The writing is some of the best I've come across. About to do a second play through, so +1 replay-ability. The music is fun and sets the right tone and mood. The intro tutorial area can be a tad overwhelming, and the game play mechanics are smooth without any glitches thus far.
