Valentino Rossi is my second favourite superbike racer (after Pierfrancesco Chili), so having an entire game dedicated to him was a welcome surprise. I had this game lying in my library for a long time, but I never had a good PC to run it. This is the first Steam game I played after building my PC.
In most ways, this is just like any other MotoGP game, where you can pick any real life racer or create your own. What makes it stand out is that it pays a tribute to Il Dottore himself, by adding two game modes dedicated to him. There's a career mode where you're a new racer whom Rossi mentors into becoming a big name, and there's the historic races where you play as Valentino Rossi in some of his most iconic moments.
The latter is one place where I have a divided opinion. The reason behind this is that the difficulty level for most events are useless. Even when you keep it at the easiest settings, your bike still wobbles like it does for Pro settings. On one hand, it's a good thing because it makes you understand how hard it was for him to have won in that scenario, making you respect him even more. On the other hand, well, it just means the difficulty settings are broken!
The achievements are easy to get so far, so this could be one of my games that I will end up perfecting. The graphics are very static, especially for the first-person camera view where you see from the helmet (it just looks like a filter because it is). And while the music is annoying, it can be disabled quite easily. The screen calibration doesn't work well, as it says to adjust the brightness until the logo is barely visible, but it's clearly visible even in the lowest settings (though it doesn't mean the game is bright, it just means the person who made the calibration settings page didn't do a good job).
I'd say this is one of the best MotoGP games I've played so far. Because not only does it let you play the game like any other game from the franchise, but it also educates you about a historical person. I always love games that have a codex, because I find the idea of education through video games really fascinating. But if you don't, I understand. Although learning about him isn't compulsory, and unless you're not looking forward to 100%ing the achievements like I am, you don't really have to play those events. And even if you do, it's not like you have to remember them, just play them like challenges.

Valentino Rossi The Game è davvero fantastico!
Da un lato, questo gioco è praticamente ineguagliabile quando si tratta di contenuti poiché celebra i 20 anni di Valentino Rossi nelle corse, c'è un'enorme quantità di piloti e moto classiche di un'ampia gamma di epoche, tra cui 125cc, 250cc, 500cc, 990cc e 800cc come ci si potrebbe aspettare, Rossi riceve un trattamento extra speciale con livree speciali sbloccabili per tutte le sue moto classiche. Inoltre, hai sfide storiche in cui devi provare a emulare momenti della sua carriera.

Oltre a ciò, hai la griglia completa del 2016, il Rossi Ranch, le gare di flat track e gli eventi speciali della VR46 Academy insieme a piste classiche extra come Donnington, Laguna Seca e la classica Assen.

Purtroppo ora arriviamo alle parti negative.
Il modello di maneggevolezza è stato molto vecchio presenta particolamente problemi con la frenata rallentare abbastanza per affrontare una curva può essere molto frustrante poi abbiamo l'IA che è , incollata insieme per la maggior parte del tempo e sperona e si tuffa in una bomba senza pensarci due volte inoltre, sembra che siano bloccati sulla fisica di gioco standard, il che significa che raramente, se non mai, cadono o si liberano.

Sto dando a questo gioco una recensione positiva perché, anche con i difetti di maneggevolezza e IA, la quantità di contenuti e opzioni di gioco a tua disposizione rende molto difficile lasciarselo sfuggire.

Provato nel 2025, è invecchiato piuttosto bene. Simpatico trovare in Moto 3 tutti i campioni della MotoGP attuale.

Dopo aver completato due campionati e provato le varie categorie e modalità posso dire che è un gioco divertente, con tanti punti a favore e tanti contenuti, con una struttura più variegata e meno ingessata di altri giochi di corse.

GAMEPLAY e FEEDBACK DELLE MOTO: 8/10
- Permissivo in termini di contatti, anche se capiterà di venir tamponati e stesi dagli avversari nelle bagarre più concitate, soprattutto in Moto2 e GP (e quando si rientra in traiettoria dopo un largo, che è pure logico, benché fastidioso).
- Il nostro pilota-avatar progredirà sulla base dei giri effettuati, delle singole fasi completate e in base ai piazzamenti. Man mano che le statistiche migliorano, anche la guidabilità della moto migliorerà,
- La differenza tra le moto di diversa cilindrata si sente, e affrontare la stessa gara con moto diverse dà feedback differenti. Esempio: 1° stagione non riuscivo a tenere in pista la Yamaha R1M, facendo pratica con la Moto2 (e con più esperienza, sia mia che del mio avatar) è stata tutta un'altra storia.
La Moto 3 è ovviamente la più semplice da guidare, mentre la Moto 2 è più simile alla GP per velocità e spigolosità nella guida e dà molto più gusto.
- La moto non reagisce allo stesso modo in tutti i circuiti, specie dalla Moto2 in poi, e bisogna fare un minimo di messa a punto. Peccato che non si possano creare dei setup da salvare per questo o quel circuito, nè si possa tornare indietro tra un setup e l'altro quando si usa la messa a punto guidata (si può solo resettare).
- La messa a punto ha un effetto diretto su alcune caratteristiche della moto, e giocare tutta la qualifica correggendo qua e là per fare il miglior tempo dà soddisfazioni.
- Le moto storiche del season pass (non le ho provate tutte) sembrano ancora più scorbutiche da guidare (vedi le 500), il che è un pregio e non un difetto. Anche la 250 è diversa da guidare, cilindrate e caratteristiche delle moto sono ben varie.
- Adattissimo ai neofiti, si può iniziare con tutti gli aiuti e toglierli man mano che si migliora, il gioco di accompagna verso un'esperienza via via più stimolante.

CARRIERA: 7/10
- Purtroppo non funziona come le carriere in FIFA, i piloti non invecchiano e non si spostano tra una categoria e l'altra, il nostro pilota non invecchia, nè lo fanno gli altri.
- La carriera si sviluppa nell'arco della classica stagione ufficiale oltre ad attività collaterali della VR46 Academy, che include le gare di flat track (con le moto da cross) e le gare di rally.
- Il Flat Track è fantastico, una delle modalità più divertenti (giocabile anche nelle sfide singole fuori dalla carriera).
- Il rally è pessimo, l'auto è pressocché inguidabile, ad eccezione delle sessioni di drift, accettabili ma non divertenti.
- Pur partendo dalla Moto3 non saremo obbligati a completare la stagione con la stessa moto, sarà possibile cambiare team durante la stagione e facendo un po' di buoni risultati si arriva rapidamente in MotoGP. Sta al gusto del giocatore, se ci si vuole sciroppare tutta la Moto3 o Moto2 e vincere il titolo o saltare subito di categoria.
- Imperdonabile la mancanza di una sezione con tutte le statistiche ottenute in carriera, col numero di pole e vittorie, c'è solo quella per la stagione in corso. Peccato anche per la mancanza di una cutscene del podio.

PERSONALIZZAZIONI DI GUIDA: 9/10
Non è un'esperienza simulativa troppo spinta, è molto arcade, anche se non l'ho provato a difficoltà massima e con aiuti a zero.
Si possono modificare le opzioni di gara in gara per avere l'esperienza più confortevole e più adatta al proprio gusto.
Durante la carriera si può modificare sempre quanti turni affrontare (weekend completo con test e qualifiche o solo la gara per andare più spediti)
Le opzioni che influiscono sulla guida sono davvero tante.Gli aiuti non sono garanzia di vittoria facile, anzi, considerato che la differenza si fa regolando il gas e la frenata, usare aiuti di traiettoria e frenata risulterà in una perenne bagarre obbligata.
L'opzione "rewind" consente di riavvolgere il tempo e correggere eventuali sbavature di guida, ma soprattutto recuperare eventuali tamponamenti o cadute. Si può disattivare, è un aiuto eccessivo che toglie molto alla sfida, ma è comunque una buona idea che offre ancor più varietà di gameplay.

Personalizzazioni estetiche: 7/10
poche, ci sono tutte le livree ufficiali, tantissimi caschi (anche quelli storici di Vale), guanti e stivali, mentre le tute e le moto non sono personalizzabili, sono legate ai team. Pochissima scelta per i numeri di gara, peccato.

COMPARTO AUDIO: 6,5/10
Ci sono le voci di Guido Meda (che farà solo l'introduzione al circuito e alla gara, non una telecronaca) e di Valentirno Rossi (dei brevi messaggi di chat per invitarci agli eventi).
I suoni delle moto sono buoni (a parte il ronzio da vespino della Moto3).
Le musiche inizialmente sono carine ma alla fine le ho disattivate perché ripetitive.
C'è un glitch fastidiosissimo nelle gare bagnate, la pioggia spesso gracchia in modo fastidiosissimo.

GRAFICA: 6/10
Belle le tute e le moto, per il resto è datata, ma stigazzi. Alzi la mano chi gliene frega qualcosa della grafica quando l'unica cosa che devi guardare è l'ingresso della prossima curva e il cordolo che può farti sbandare.
Hey tu, si tu che hai alzato la mano, fuori di qui!

EXTRA, DLC e SEASON PASS: 6/10
Visto il prezzo attuale consiglio la versione completa del gioco, con tutti i DLC.
C'è anche anche brevi interviste a Valentino che presenta alcuni eventi significativi della sua carriera, e che introducono delle sfide dedicate, di breve durata, in cui giocheremo nei suoi panni ripercorrendo la sua carriera. Figata.
La modalità "eventi reali" non è molto ispirata, contiene sfide in cui si devono rispettare certi parametri per vincere, ma limitati alle stagioni 2015/2016.
Molto più accattivante il DLC sulle moto storiche e piloti storici. Si possono giocare le stagioni dei mondiali di Valentino, 125, 250, 500, coi piloti e le livree di quelle stagioni. Stimolante perché le cilindrate e la guidabilità di quelle moto è diversa da quelle che possiamo usare nella Carriera.
Si può giocare la stagione 2016 con qualunque pilota ufficiale, c'è una sorta di campionato all star della 500: Doohan, Schwantz, Cadalora, ecc.
La modalità con le auto radiocomandate è un grosso meh.

P.S.: uso del controller straconsigliato, perché solo col controller potete modulare il gas in percorrenza e in uscita di curva e avere un vero controllo (a meno che non giochiate con gli aiuti).

If you want a solid Moto Gp game there are too many better options then to buy this.
After some time the game gets more and more buggy until you get a freeze frame all 2 minutes.
The rossi events are more of a curse then a gift i still have no idea why my rally car steers when i brake on asphalt .
And the Ai sucks on max strength since you destroy them in quali and get totally banged by everyone in the race after even tho they couldnt keep up with you moments ago in quali.

Career mode is really nice, you can create and customize your rider and then join a Moto3 team, making your way to the MotoGP championship. Between the main races the game makes you ride a flat track bike and and a rally car, and any race increases your rider's ability. You will need a lot of hours to complete your career (at least 4 seasons + extra events), therefore the lasting appeal of this game is really good.

5) ралли и дрифт (Haхyя?)
6) мертвый онлайн
И все это удовольствие за внушительные 9100тенге(1800 рублей). Стоит рассматривать к покупке только если поставят скидку 90%.
Если вы поклонник мотоциклов, то обратите внимание на серию ride, там и карьера интереснее, и графика лучше, да и в целом имеется ощущение игры более высокого класса.

I get it is a niche genre but it feels like they just haven't put in any effort.

İçerik anlamında bu kadar muhteşem olup, fizik, ses ve sürüş hissi konusunda bu kadar kötü olan başka bir oyun görmedim. İçerik harika yeni oyunlardan bile daha iyi. Kariyerde The Doctor'un akademisinde öğrenciyiz, Doktor sürekli yanımızda: Çocuklar bugün Misano'da M1'lerle kapışacağız! Çocuklar hep motor sürmek olmaz Mustang ile drift atalım, Monza'da Rally yapalım diye kariyerin başından sonuna kadar yanınızda ve bu oldukça hoş fakat oyunun fizikleri Fi tarihinde çıkmış MotoGP2'den bile kötü.
Oyunda 2015-2016 Sezonları mevcut (klasik motorlarda var) ve sezonların en muhteşem anlarını oynayabiliyoruz. Kısaca içeriği oldukça güzel fakat fizikleri ve sesleri kötü olan eski bir oyun düşük sistem sahibi motor severlere ve kolay bir oyun arayanlara öneririm.

Para os Fãs do Motociclismo e principalmente do Dottore VR46 Valentino Rossi, é um jogo fantástico, a jogabilidade segue o mesmo padrão dos Jogos da MILESTONE S.R.L. como Moto GP e Ride, que pra mim são ótimos.

Tem a possibilidade de jogar nas categorias Moto 2, Moto 3, Moto GP além de Flat Track, Rally e Drift (a jogabilidade com o carros achei HORRÍVEL, principalmente o Drift)

O diferencial são os vídeos gravados com o Próprio mito VR46 aonde ele conta como foi as principais corridas e episódios de sua carreira, no qual você deve repetir este feito no modo Desafios.

Foi muito bom relembrar estes acontecimentos e conhecer novos momentos da carreira do mito das pistas VR46.

Para a Platina você deve contar com a boa vontade de outro Player online, terá que fazer 30 jogos no qual você deve vencer todos, para ganhar o Bônus de 30 vitórias online (pode ser no flat track, cerca de 2 minutos cada corrida na menor pista) e mais 2 corridas num Campeonato Online, uma modalidade dentro do multiplayer, basta apenas mais 1 player também.

I'm starting to like this one a lot more than I did.
I stand by my original review because this shouldn't be your first MotoGP/Ride game and everything I said I still agree with. If you're new to Milestone's Moto games, try Ride 1 or 2 first - if those are too slow for you, then this one should be fine.

Overall, this one kinda sucks. (If you're gonna buy it, get it on sale.)
The MotoGP 13, 14, MXGP 1, and Ride 1, games that I own all feel like racing games.
This one feels like a melee fighter with bikes as weapons. And the chances of you falling off your bike vs the AI falling off theirs is pretty ridiculous compared to the earlier titles, too. It's like they made it harder instead of more challenging. The difference being challenges based on real world scenarios vs the rubber banding aspects that makes the AI better or worse depending on how well you're playing.
This game has a lot of variety opposed to the older game, such as the drift cars, flat track, and RC racing options, but when you jump on the big bikes, it suddenly becomes a Mad Max murder fest and as a fan of actual non-murdery motorcycle racing, I was hoping for something that felt more like actual non-murdery motorcycle racing.
I feel bad leaving a negative review because I'm a Rossi fan, but his game is not the greatest, even if he is.

I know that Rossi has some involvement in other motorsports, but for the love of ♥♥♥♥, why did they have to include so many ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rally races in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MotoGP game? What the ♥♥♥♥ were they thinking? Grinding those stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ events is not fun in the slightest and is the primary reason I'm giving this game a negative review.

Brought this game because its only £1.29 and I have a fractured Right Femur because I hit a car with my bike, I have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ laptop to play it on, it runs really well much better than MotoGP13 this is basically MotoGP16 but its like a retarted hybrid thats focused on our lord and saviour Valentino Rossi, is this game worth it? YES, its really fun and it has loads of content if its on sale no reason not to buy it you might learn something about rossi

"Valentino Rossi The Game" ist ein Motorrad-Renn-Simulation.

Eigentlich ist der Kern des Spiels "MotoGP 2016". Irgendein Wahnsinniger dachte sich aber, es wäre eine gute Idee, statt einer seriösen Seriensimulation einen bekannten Fahrer für Werbung und Namen zu nutzen und auch die Spielstruktur dieser Idee unterzuordnen. Das machte aus dem eigentlich guten Spiel eine chaotische Ansammlung von Irrelevantem und Unnötigem, das keine Gelegenheit ausläßt, Einen mit Rossi zu nerven.

Vor dem Spiel hatte ich eine eher unbestimmte Haltung zu Valentino Rossi, das Spiel hat es geschafft, daß mir der legendäre Fahrer reichlich unsympathisch wurde und ich immer, wenn ich den Namen höre, eine Reflexreaktion zum Abschalten bekomme.

Dabei ist der zugeschüttete Kern, eben der Content von dem nie erschienenden "MotoGP16", eigentlich gut.

Die MotoGP Serie ist die offizielle Rennsimulation zur MotoGP Serie. Es gibt jährliche Ableger und im Großen und Ganzen kann man sagen, daß sich die Serie im Laufe der Zeit sukzessive verbessert hat. Wir heizen mit den offiziellen Fahrern auf offiziellen Bikes über die offiziellen Strecken, fahren einzelne Rennen, eine Meisterschaft oder auch eine Karriere, können zahlreiche Dinge wie Fahrhilfen oder Rennlängen einstellen, schrauben an unserem Bike rum und haben dafür zahlreiche Setup Einstellmöglichkeiten.

Auch in diesem Teil von Milestone ist das Fahrgefühl richtig gut. Das Rasen mit Bikes unterscheidet sich fundamental zu den vierrädrigen Kollegen. Insbesondere das Kurvenverhalten ist auf zwei Rädern deutlich anders.

Die Grafik ist serientypisch zwar keine Offenbarung, aber nett und zweckmäßig geraten und immerhin eine leichte Verbesserung zum Vorjahrestitel. Schwach hingegen wirkt immer noch der etwas an Nähmaschinen erinnernde Sound.

Wir haben bei den Bikes auch eine First-Person Ansicht, die an sich gut ist und auch das beste Geschwindigkeitsgefühl bietet, aber deutlich weniger übersichtlich ist. Deswegen werden die meisten - selbst wenn sie sonst gerne in der Cockpit Ansicht fahren - mit der Third-Person Ansicht vorlieb nehmen.

Auf den an sich guten Kern mußte man allerdings unbedingt viel Schrott packen, dem man leider auch nicht wirklich entrinnen kann. In der Karriere, die eigentlich nur aus MotoGP Rennen bestehen sollte, werden wir genötigt, irgendwelche Promo-Drift Events oder Promo-Rallye-Events zu machen, die dann auch den Spielcharakter verbessern. Das ist nicht nur äußerst nervig, diese abwegigen Events sind auch noch mechanisch eine katastrophale Grütze. Die an zwei Fingern abzuzählenden Fahrzeuge steuern sich träge, klingen noch alberner als die Motorräder und haben nicht mal eine Innenansicht. Und mit Rallye haben diese Promo-Events auf zwei asphaltierten Strecken, bei denen man einfach nur sinnfrei Schikanen hingebaut hat, ohnehin nichts zu tun.

Eigentlich sollte man den Titel sowieso skippen und sich lieber auf einen Moto GP Nachfolger konzentrieren.

i like all the VR46 team and is mentor, of course. The game shows you the ranch and all the bikes and cars. But what i like the most is the handling of the bikes, easy to explore but at the same time, demanding, in all the categories. And all those old bikes are amazing !! love it !
