So komme ich doch noch zu meinem Spaß. Ohne Cheat nur für geduldige Masochisten, denen auch 30x den gleichen Level verlieren nichts ausmacht...

A well-designed strategy game with deep tactical gameplay, historical accuracy, and challenging scenarios that keep players engaged in the intense battle of Stalingrad.
If you enjoy strategic board games, this really simulates that feeling. Although not as sophisticated a game as UofC II, the rather basic AI nevertheless manages to respond well to your moves. In fact it is better at re-establishing its own supply lines and reforming good defensive lines that II sometimes seems capable of. It is also good at exploiting gaps you leave to disrupt your supply lines. It doesn't have the range of units and the useful artillery options that II has though, but is nonetheless a fun game to play even if it feels dated. The simplicity can be enjoyable after playing more complicated games.

玩了一个钟 好像局内兵损失就真损失了 也没有什么补给系统
除了铁路会运物资 缺物资后连攻击都不行只能全部等死
而且极个别兵会很厉害 看图标也看不出来 抽象 步兵冲坦克
Ceci n'est pas une évaluation négative entièrement mais le jeu est très frustrant et a des règles stupides.
Les scénarios en soi sont intéressants, le fait de devoir faire attention au ravitaillement et au terrain aussi bien entendu.
Le problème ce sont les conditions de victoire. La seule chose sur laquelle le scénario se base est le temps, et TOUS les scénarios ont un temps limite.
Je joue en ce moment la contre-offensive soviétique sur le front de l'Est. Je viens de perdre un scénario (que je vais donc devoir recommencer) juste parce que je n'ai pas atteint le dernier objectif à la fin du tour 7. Face à moi, une arméé allemande en déroute, et une unité presque complètement anéantie qui tient le dernier objectif. Qu'est-ce qui justifie la défaite ? Pas grand chose de mon point de vue.
Lors du scénario précédent, j'ai remporté une victoire décisive, 2 tours avant la fin du temps imparti. Cependant j'avais pris chacun des objectifs indviduels un peu tard par rapport aux limites fixés sur chacun ce qui fait que j'ai remporté peu de prestige et aucun "prestige supplémentaire", la monnaie que l'on peut utiliser pour avoir plus de renforts lors des scénarios suivants. Le fait que la victoire soit décisive ne rapporte aucun point de prestige, uniquement les objectifs individuels.
Donc, si je résume, un bon wargame pour ce qui est des batailes, des réflexions stratégiques et tactiques, un mauvais jeu parce que la seule chose qui compte pour la victoire c'est de faire vite. On peut y voir une justification pour les scénarios de l'opération Barbarossa, mais aucune de mon point de vue pour les scénarios de la contre-offensive soviétique. C'est très dommage, cela apauvrit un jeu qui aurait pu être très bon si les conditions de victoire étaient mieux pensées.
EDIT: Encore pire, remporter un scénario dans les temps ne suffit pas, parfois. Je viens de remporter à la troisième tentative un scénario MAIS je suis quand même bloqué, les scénarios suivants ne se débloquent qu'en cas de victoire décisive ou brillante. Donc je dois réussir ce scénario mais encore mieux. Non merci.
Awesome strategy game
This game is amazing in my opinion. Nothing like the second one they released in 2019. Night and day difference here, and if you’re looking to get into the series, I would recommend the first one. For some reason, it’s no longer on the Steam store, but there are other ways to get or download it.

Great Game
Very cool, fun, challenging game, but I'm not too hip on having to get a Decisive or Brilliant Victory to progress in a game I paid $$ for ?? There should be an option to play Normal or Hard difficulty. Hard being the way it is now. Normal being that you can progress with a Victory but of course you're not going to get the prestige as it is on "Hard" already. THEN... you may need more prestige to help get through the next scenario.
That should be progress test. Do you need more prestige to help beat the next level? Possibly forcing you to re-visit a level for more of said prestige.
The game itself is well designed making you think about your moves and strategies. I quickly learned how important it is to protect Supply Lines. AI plays well trying to cutoff your supply while protecting their own.
After 2-3 tries/level I got 2 Decisives and 1 Brilliant Victory before getting stumped on the 4th scenario, Don Offensives. That's when I decided to write a review. This is a soft and relunctant non-recommendation because devs shouldn't be so cruel as to make their paying customers get stuck on levels being unable to progress AT ALL. cmon, not everyone is a hard core armchair general... I'll likely come back from time to time trying a new strat to progress in MY game, but not enthusiastically.

I like the original games more than the new releases. The Icons changed and they became too complicated. The two original ones are easy to play. I don't need more complications.
It has simple tabletop style rules, an simplified but somewhat realistic logistics system, and the possibility for larger scale maneuvers.

但是低回合数内踩胜利点的设定把难度拉的有点高了，还破坏了歼灭敌人的快感···

Where to start?
- aggravating. There are no saves, only "continue campaign" and when you lose a scenario? You're done. You have to start all over, which sucks.
- I made it to the 3rd scenario in the Barbarossa campaign. North and Center the Russians just run around willy nilly rarely attacking if at all, but it's still a ♥♥♥♥♥ to win and advance, because
- You biggest enemy is time. The number of turns to complete goals is ridiculously low. You can call in a fighter/bomber if you want a quick animation... it rarely does any damage, regardless the target.
Until I see some "Wow!" maybe trying another campaign, I give this a thumbs down...
There are better games with better features, easier learning curves, and more enjoyable to play covering this same campaign

A schizophrenic game that, on one hand, tries to be a mix between a tactical wargame with a huge emphasis on encirclements and supply lines and, on the other hand, an insane puzzle game with a heavy reliance on trial and error. I do like the the graphical presentation and the main focus on logistics that dictate the flow of battle.
But its realistic approach, where random weather can impede troop movements and the flow of fuel that powers your armored spearheads, is not compatible with the puzzle-like mission design that almost always relies on a predetermined set of moves to win battles and a smile from Lady Luck.
I would still recommend the game since it is an accessible and unique wargame, but the facade will crumble quickly once you attempt the game's biggest challenge: trying to win all battles within their designated time requirements and without utilizing Prestige to summon your elite reserve units, because then you will be inclined to smash your keyboard against your desk when you have to restart a mission for the umpteenth time because of bad weather or because your tank division wasn't able to reach the objective in time.
An enjoyable hex based game that strikes the right balance between simplicity and difficulty. You just need to focus on movements and keeping supply lines open. You don't waste any time getting buried into the individual unit stats or too many mechanics but in exchange you have to often accomplish some fairly aggressive and ambitious mission requirements which means you have to play intelligently and make the absolute most out of every turn.
Some of the scenarios are much more difficult than others so if I have one criticism it's that you will get stuck on a specific mission for awhile but then you'll breeze through the next few scenario so it's got a bit of a speed bump progression.
It delivers on making you feel like you are in a war room directing massive offensives and campaigns in a very quick, approachable, pick-up and play kind of way. You can take long breaks from this game and easily jump back in without having to relearn much.
Ugh, bad and hard WW2 game that feels more like a puzzle game Panzer corps 1 is way better than this.
After having played it for a bunch of hours, i personally can't recommend it.
Only if you prefer puzzle games, more than turnbased strategy.
While it's not the first game that introduces a limited turn schedule, it is the one with the most strictest and unfair.
Which means that you need to find the one strategy to complete, instead of being able to experiment and try out things.
I'd recommend looking at literally any of the other Hexbased ww2 strategy games out there.

Not an actual wargame, just a puzzle game with a WW2 theme. There are much better options, get Hex of Steel or the first PanzerCorps instead.
Tough time limits and a clever AI make this an enjoyable strategy game.

Solid turn based strategy game. Easy enough to play, there were some parts where I pulled my hair out but frustration kept me coming back for more. It's fun enough to play between other games. I ended up putting more time into this game then I expected, I like strategy games but I prefer the oldschool ones like Age of Empires. Great game for people who like History.

i cant even get past the load screen, everything is off to the side that i should be able to read off the screen so idk.
Not playable. Not sure how others played
The game defaults to full screen, and you cannot run a campaign or scenario or the tutorial. I eventually figured out that it was because all of the UI you can interact with is cut off.
So, I changed options to window the game instead, using my full screen size. Now different but still mostly cutoff and I can no longer access options to change the size. Tabbing is not supported. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. I bet I can uninstall to remove settings as well, but then I have to re-enter keys (wth). Not worth the hassle even though Panzer Corps is is one of my favs and was just hungry for something similar.
So, devs whiffed on some basics here, OR this game is far older than listed on release screen and was just never updated.

Simple yet challenging strategy gameplay that makes you feel like a WW2 mastermind.
Supply lines matter, which means you’ll curse every time your trucks get cut off.
Clean, stylish visuals make managing war somehow… elegant?
Cons:
Winter will ruin everything, including your will to live.
No matter how good your plan is, it’ll fall apart faster than your troops’ morale.
The AI is like that one friend who always blocks your moves just to annoy you.
Personal Experience:
I was on the verge of victory when my supply lines got cut, leaving my troops stranded in the cold. I watched in horror as my perfect plan turned into a slow-motion disaster. The game told me I was “decisively defeated.” Harsh but fair.
Relatable Humor:
Every mission starts with you confidently saying, “This will be easy.” Then, five turns later, you’re screaming, “WHY IS EVERYONE STARVING?!”
Verdict:
If you love strategy games that challenge your patience, reward careful planning, and crush your dreams with one bad supply route, Unity of Command: Stalingrad Campaign is perfect. Just don’t forget: winter is not your friend.
Final Score: 8/10. Would starve my troops again.

I would describe this game as a tactical turn based game like Panzer General or Panzercorps with supply lines and more units to command, since you have a limited amount of turns to finish the scenario. The campaigns just strings together a bunch of scenarios. Once you beat the campaign, I see no reason to replay the game again. AI seems a little iffy. They kept moving there entrenched units back and forth. Got the bundle for $2.99, I think it was worth it. Rate this 6/10.

Due to the in-game fuel/supply system, I can't recommend this game. Unfortunately, this is not something you can modify or change on your end. Depending on the level, your forces run out of supplies after 2-3 turns, grinding everything to a halt. It then makes the game a chore to play. There are much better WW2 strategy games out there.

Unfortunately, Steam does not have the "IT DEPENDS" rating, which I think this game deserves. So, not recommending this game is a little harsh but I also can't recommend it unless to a specific type of player which are those that are new to wargames. This game introduces in a simplified manner some core mechanics common to wargames but for the game also has major flaws, being the fact that it's too reliant on luck the most critical. Well, let me explain: most of the scenario objectives for the Axis (the only faction I played) is conquering certain towns/objectives in a given number of turns. And this is the main problem since, as you start the scenarios, your units are already laid off for you in a frontline, facing the enemy frontline. This, per se, wouldn't be a problem since in many other wargames this also happens BUT the fact that you have a time limit to complete the scenario leaves little room to try other strategies like encirclement and cutting enemy supply lines. Since you have a time limit, your best, and most of the time the only option, is to try a breakthrough. Unfortunately, this is where luck comes into play since each time you start a scenario, the weather is different and weather conditions can hinder your progress. Of course, this happens in real life but the fact that you have a time limit urges you to attack instead of, for example, waiting a turn or two for the weather to be beneficial (unless you restart the scenario and the weather conditions are different, which again, depends on luck)..This, coupled with the fact I mentioned earlier that cutting enemy supply lines will almost never be a good Strategy because only after three turns do the enemy units become hindered by the lack of supply (again, in the first scenario, you have 9 turns to take 3 objectives which are not close), makes it so that your only option is to try suicidal attacks some times. Like I said in the beginning, I would only recommend this game to someone who hasn't previously played any wargame.

Simple and to the point, great little game if you are looking for a quick strategy game.
Excessively difficult and obtuse
The most satisfying pain in the arse of a game I've had the joy of playing. Some great depth and angles to consider, and you better do it carefully because the AI are quick to punish any holes in your plan.
The price is pretty good for the game plus DLC's, with the extra content being worth it for the new campaigns.
The second game in the series has been out for a while now but I reckon this is still worth it.
I'm kinda neutral on this game - maybe the thumbs down is a little harsh but after playing it a handful of times it just never made me want to come back to it and play more. I can imagine maybe some people might enjoy it more than me - although I liked the concept, in practice it just really didn't grab me at all.
So...it was not bad, but just maybe not for me.
Unfortunately, there wasn't really enough here for me to get very engaged, it's a bit too abstract. There's a sort of spreadsheets and lonely dice-rolls vibe...

Recommend as a "beer-and-pretzels" WWII game only. As advertised, it's a good entry into WWII gaming. But that's the limit--it's basically Wesnoth in a WWII skin with overruns and a basic supply model. Once you wish to move into more realism (or if that's what you were looking for in the first place), this has limited replayability.

I like games like this because they remind me of those board games without the stacking problems or figuring out the supply lines. Great game and for as much time as I have spent playing them i still havent beaten the campaign games. getting 19 wins in a row seems impossible but i will keep trying till the day I di............................................................

Jakkolwiek przesadzony i nietypowy nie byłby to obraz, to jestem przekonany, że chociaż część z was doskonale wie o czym piszę, bo związana z tym niechęć do przyswajania zasad i reguł jest naprawdę jedyna w swoim rodzaju..
Porównanie nie jest zresztą szczególnie przypadkowe, bowiem rzeczywiście jest to jedna z tych gier, bez których nie jesteśmy w stanie sensownie funkcjonować bez wcześniejszego przebicia się przez tutorial, jednak sam jego przebieg to nic innego jak ściany tekstu pojawiające się na ekranie, uzupełnione o niezwykle motywującą informację, że zapraszają do otwarcia pdfa w wersji papierowej, jeśli growy samouczek nie wystarczy. Co jednak ciekawe, nie wynika to z jakiejś niezwykłej złożoności mechanik, gdyż całość dałoby się dość sensownie wyjaśnić w kilkunastu ciekawych slajdach, a raczej z faktu iż sposób przekazania tej wiedzy jest tak nieatrakcyjny, że męczyły mnie nawet z podstawy poruszania się jednostek.
Tym bardziej, że innych punktów zaczepienia tutaj po prostu za bardzo nie ma; brak tu wprowadzenia, szerszego kontekstu historycznego czy chociażby ładnych widoków po odpaleniu nowej gry. Całość to bowiem to nic innego, jak przedziwna kreacja produkcji strategicznej w formie puzzli, gdzie zyskujemy kontrolę nad wojskami na froncie i we właściwy sposób musimy zaatakować nimi jednostki przeciwnika, by w ograniczonym czasie przejąć kluczowe dla powodzenia misji punkty. I chociaż może brzmieć to niezwykle kreatywnie i zachęcająco, to w rzeczywistości jest to raczej rozwiązanie, które nie spełnia roli żadnej z tych dwóch stron, frustrując tak w aspektach taktycznych, jak logicznych.
Zawodzi chyba przede wszystkim czytelność(czy raczej jej brak), gdyż z jakiegoś powodu na wyższej rozdzielczości większość ikon oraz opisów jest bardzo mała, utrudniając wszelkie próby rozeznania się w sytuacji bądź analizy pola bitwy. Zresztą abstrahując nawet od jakości ukazywanej nam treści, to cała strona wizualna wydaje się nad wyraz niezachęcająca, odstraszając dużą ilością szarości, statyczną prezentacją gameplayu(brak przybliżeń?!) czy chociażby płytkością ukazywanych animacji, gdzie nie pozostawiono żadnych szans na zaimponowanie graczowi, skoro cała walka to po prostu rywalizujące ze sobą portreciki, którym ubywa pasków zdrowia.
I w pewnym sensie rozumiem, co tutaj może się podobać albo jawić się jako swoista innowacja - pomysł trzymania łańcuchów dostaw jest całkiem niezły, przesuwanie linii frontu i okrążanie różnych kompanii to satysfakcjonujące manewry, a w samym miksie łamigłówki z wojenną tematyką dostrzegam ogromny potencjał, który z dużą dozą prawdopodobieństwa nie został jeszcze właściwie w branży gier wideo wykorzystany. Tutaj po prostu od początku do końca nic mnie nie bawi, a pewien brak punktu zaczepienia sprawia, że nawet nieszczególnie czułem potrzebę uczestniczenia w tych wojskowych warcabach. Może dla strategów będzie to ożywcze lub w drugą stronę, pozwoli zainteresować się tematem u osób opornych na taktyczne myślenie, jednak w moim odczuciu jest to pozycja trochę dla nikogo - przy takim zarządzaniu raczej nikt się nie zjednoczy.
Overall just not a good game
I got this on a bit of a whim because it was deeply discounted on Fanatical and I am very glad I did. UoC is a very approachable strategy game that respects your time. Its systems are simple to understand yet challenging to master, so I have found plenty of replay value. It even started me reading more about the Eastern Front again.

Brilliant in its simplicity yet highly difficult!
This strategy game is a real gem. It's easy to learn and play, very smart and – thanks to a really evil computer opponent – very challenging. I just wish it had a bit more content, especially in the multiplayer department, but don't let that stop you from giving it a go. You can easily tell it's an old game tho, but that's what makes it so pretty in a way.
It's addictive, and I keep coming back to play it

Poza tym , że jest ładne miłe i przyjemne dla oka i ucha to grając masz wrażenie, że tworcy sympatyzują z siłami ZSRR. Zagrałem da porównania obiema stronami i bosh, roouskie ścierwo ma większe szanse niż przy adekwatnych starciach wykonywanych przez faszystów.
To i tak przypomina bardziej grę planszową Stratego, niż grę strategiczna pola walki a i tak jest zepsute przez dominacje czerwonego ścierwa. Szkoda czasu
It's really dull with its presentation visually (including UI), in its sound design, and with the music. This didn't help when reading through walls of text for the tutorial while also not doing much of anything. The limited turns system actually made me not want to strategize. I'd rather pay for a better experience than sit through this agony again.
Trashs game with turn limit, no continuity between missions and no real campaign, just "scenarios" wasted dollar on fanatical for this crap
Has not aged well with both CD key requirements and also issues with resolutions where you lose parts of the screen. Not workable anymore on my new laptop.

Для теста взбейте яйца с майонезом и сметаной. Добавьте соду, муку и соль. Замесите однородное тесто.
Для начинки нарежьте курицу и обжарьте ее с луком и специями на сковороде до золотистой корочки. Можно взять смесь перцев, прованские травы, или любые другие специи по вашему вкусу.
Натрите сыр на терке.
Смажьте форму для выпечки маслом или выстелите бумагой. Выложите половину теста на дно формы и разровняйте лопаткой. Посыпьте тесто половиной сыра и половиной кунжута.
Выложите сверху равномерно начинку из курицы и лука. Посыпьте оставшимся сыром и кунжутом. Закройте пирог оставшимся тестом и защипните края.
Сделайте несколько проколов в тесте вилкой или ножом для выхода пара.
Выпекайте пирог в духовке при 180 градусах около 40 минут до румяной корочки.
Перед подачей дайте пирогу немного остыть.

Good simple graphics and it is not too much clutter in screen. There is some challenge but it is not too hard game and is fun to play. Sad there is not much in multiplayer to do and you can't take pictures of game for Steam.

Varias de las reseñas negativas vienen de gente que se esperaban un HOI4, cuando este juego es totalmente distinto porque es de otro género. Es como que alguien puntee de forma negativa Animal Crossing por no ser un juego de disparos.
es un hearts of iron simplificado, no esta mal, musica buena dentro de todo, pero no innova en nada y se hace bastante aburrido, tiene algo de tactica pero nada que ver con los HoI.
No tiene ni logros ni cromos y eso claramente es muy negativo
mereceria un puntaje neutral pero steam no tiene dicha categoria, pero no puedo darle el positivo por lo que comente anteriormente. la estetica y el aspecto visual esta bien pero denuevo, no es excelente

Tricky game (for me at least) but found myself retrying levels over and over again. This makes it all the more satisfying when you do finally beat a hard level. Overall a great old game for fans of strategy and puzzle games as well as those with an interest in history. Would recommend.

Unity of Command: Stalingrad is a really nice turn-based strategy game. The game has very simplistic graphics and is set on the WW2 where basically you have to protect supply lines. Despite it's simplicity you can clearly see different play styles on the available factions (German and Soviets).
I did received this game for free, from a Fanatical website promotion but it is a really low price game, so if you like a nice turn-based game and don't want to spend much on it, this could be the game for you. Fully recommend it!
