it is a good concept? yes.
the UI is atrocious ? definitely yes.
give it a try because in the end it is fun but don't expect that much startegic depht.
Don´t buy this game. It is abandonware...

Отличная концепция РТС про флот с пошаговым режимом а-ля Total War, которой не хватило самого главного: разработчиков. Отличный хоть и скованный по механикам геймплей морского сражения сталкивается с абсолютно примитивной экономической и политической системой на глобальной карте, кривым подбором боя, на который по факту не влияет дальность действия ваших кораблей и их статусов. Игре бы политическую систему аналогичную Crusader Kings с ограничениями, углубления экономики и прокачке технологий, но в итоге игра оказалась просто заброшенной. Разработчики даже не исправили многочисленные баги на которые указывало сообщество, а просто выкатили версию 1.7 и махнули ручкой. Ну собственно туда им и дорога, а именно на дно. Очень жаль за потенциально прекрасную игру с уникальной механикой постройки кораблей и отличной реализацией линейного боя начала XX века

Honestly, this game is laggy, not well explained, has nations/features that are unrealistic, and doesn't have good force generation for battles.

I like this game but I wish there was Aircraft Carriers and planes it would make it more fun! And there was bigger Main guns example a 22 or 31 inch main gun think that would make it more fun thank you for reading and have a great day!
Way to difficult. Clunky interface and difficulty level way to high. Cool idea but not fun at all.
I like watching Youtube videos about this game, so i thought I give it a shot myself. I wanted to learn it first, so I tried the mission type battles, where you have an objective, design a ship for said objective and then send it out to test.
Sadly these missions are highly random and sometimes unbeatable for someone without knowledge like me. When i design a ship, it usually only lets me use really clunky layouts, making my ship insanely slow and then the enemy just annihilates me. No idea what roll and angle are in the ship builder, as it is not explained anywhere, even when hovering over it.
I put an insane amount of funnels on my ship, just to still only get 70% engine efficiency. My guns never hit the target, either.
I arrived at a mission where I need to kill a fast moving Light Cruiser. This light cruiser has 4 inch guns, that penetrate my 11 inch armor and shoot about 2 shells a minute, while my main gun shoots one shell a month and has a 0.002% chance to hit. My conning tower is already in shambles before I can fire a single shot.
Not sure what i am doing wrong, but this sucks.
I would´ve liked to recommend this game but it just doesnt feel finished.
This game sucks. It is no fun to play. i got obsessed with by watching Campaigns on YouTube, watched all the guides, tried to pick an easy nation.
I managed to start a campaign twice with each campaign taking me about 3 hours after start to get my first combat. First campaign failed because I was new and couldn't compete with/manage a death fleet. I then got practice building ships/ scenarios in custom battle. Designed and fought with about 9 ship designs in total. Had the game crash/freeze during 3 ship battles/ ship design. Tried to start campaigns 2 other times but game refused to load because I alt-tabbed but the game still showed loading "progress."
I failed my 2nd campaign after the 3rd battle because the game didn't explain the Alliance system basically required you to bankrupt yourself for an instant game-over to acquire an alliance even though they were already at war with my enemy. Also I was removed as admiral after my 3rd battle even though I killed about triple the tonnage as the enemy and didn't lose territory. Each time was 3-5 hours per campaign with minimal fighting. I tried to learn more in custom battles but the enemy guns were able to consistently go through more armor than their penetration tables (at proper slider settings) were able to go through and the game kept crashing mid battle or immediately after I designed another 2 ships.
I'm not whining because a game-dev left after working on and updating a game for 5 years then left. I'm whining because it's not fun even to an autistic, naval-combat loving nerd such as myself. I've maybe had 1.5 hours of fun with the combat in the 23.1 hours that I've played this. And I think that I'm done suffering through this game's HORRENDOUS LOADING TIMES (ON A GOOD PC MIND YOU).
Has crippling optimization issues that will never get fixed because the game has been abandoned by the devs
服了，这个游戏是完全的半成品。机制确实很多很复杂，但是感觉制作组没怎么测试过。我刚上手打那个海军学院的教程关就卡住了。搞不懂设置一个关卡限定时间是何意味，在这个炮对射准头还没有10%的游戏中，给的那么点时间根本不够打。除此以外，游戏的优化挺糟糕的，到处都是卡顿，玩起来很不流畅。

それなりには楽しめたゲーム。アメリカやイギリス等、大国でプレイすればそこまで難しくはないが、それ意外となるとやや難しい印象。
艦艇設計もある程度知識が無いとなにがなんだか。オート設計なんてしたらとんでもない艦艇が出来上がる。自分もそういう知識は全くない状態で開始したので手探りで建築してました。それで作った艦艇で相手を倒すのは楽しかったですね。
他の方もおっしゃってますが、AIの動きが残念なのでひたすら手動で操作が必須です。
艦隊設計と戦闘は慣れればなんとかなります。それよりもシステム面でのプレイしずらさが非常に億劫でした。
艦隊はHOI4のように簡単に一纏めにとかできないのですべて手動でいちいち組み込まないといけない。敵艦隊に艦隊を突っ込ませても戦闘になるとは限らない。また、港に停泊していると近くを通過した艦船と戦闘になることがあるが、それが一艦隊ではなくバラバラになってたり（全員で動けよ）敵が一隻だけジブラルタルやスエズにいるだけで通り抜けられなかったり、なにより敵国を初め、その他の中小国が陸地経由で攻めてくるのだが中小国には戦争を仕掛けることが出来ず、敵から奪った土地を簡単に攻め落とされたりそれを防ぐこともできない。中小国と同盟して船作ってあげるといつの間にか敵対して自分が作った船と戦闘になったりとイライラする場面が多発。いつの間にか同盟切れてることもある。
講和会議も適当すぎる。タイミングも選べない上、こちらが要望してもその通りにはいかないし、場所もすべて名前で選択しなければならないので非常にわかりにくい（日本語化しても場所は英語表記。毎回GoogleMAPで場所調べてた）途中で講和したくても全然辞めないし（相手が港一個しか持ってないくらいボコボコにしても講和会議を蹴るので結局滅ぼすことになる）奪える土地も港が無い内地は選べないので全部奪うと内地が独立する。そして他の国が陸戦で奪っていく。どうしても内地が欲しい場合はランダムに発生する内地攻略を待つしかない。
他にもいろいろあるが総じてストレスがたまる。
が、個人的に海戦が非常に楽しかったのでオススメにはしておきます。

Utterly schizophrenic AI in campaign. There's a lot of good in this game, but its ruined by so much the devs did towards the very end of development. Avoid this game.
People may say that the game is bad, but when you play it for a while it get's better and fun.
