Me pasé el juego por completo y escribo esta reseña después de unos días.

Me la pasé muy bien jugándolo pero encuentro algunas cosas un poco extrañas o inclusive desesperantes:
1. Aunque es solo estético los modelos de los personajes y las animaciones se ven un poco extrañas, para que entiendan a que me refiero, fue como ver el superman de Henry Cavill con el bigote borrado con CGI. Me sacó muchas veces de la historia.
2. He jugado todos lo RE y Silent Hill de la vieja escuela, Fatal Frame, y otros Indies dentro del género. Aún así en algunas ocasiones me vi perdido en los puzzles y en a donde ir, no es en sí un fallo, tal vez es por diseño pero debe tomarse en cuenta si tienes poca pacencia o tolerancia.
3. La historia no es nada destacable, lo suficientemente "buena" para que te intereses pero olvidable una vez que pasan unos días sin que lo juegues.
4. En ocasiones me pareció que algunos enemigos tiene golpes que te darán porque sí o se saltan ese pequeño efecto de retroceso que dan tus armas, aunque por la enorme cantidad de curas que encontré en la dificultad normal, esto es mas molesto que tenso.

Igual recomiendo que si eres vieja escuela o si te gustan estos juegos le des una oportunidad, aunque los modelos de los personajes dejan mucho que desear, lo escenarios y al iluminación se ven increíble y aunque tiene jumpscares, son escasos y en su mayoría me atraparon, tiene mucho tramos que si me dejaron con al sensación de peligro y nunca paso nada.

Juego bueno para pasar un buen rato, si lo agarras con descuento como yo, vale la pena

非常好的还原了老式生存恐惧该有的全部部分，甚至考虑了BOSS全都适合用近战解决的需求。
唯一的问题就在于解谜的制作上有一定缺陷，可以说是独立制作的瓶颈部分。
前提是所有探索不漏，文章都细读，有些谜题很明显体现了制作者的先入偏见，具体为以下几点。
①文化上的先入观念。有些图形推测的前提是了解基督教常识，基督教文化圈以外的玩家没办法从游戏中获得足够的推理依据。仔细追究的话，一些印象甚至不直接源于旧约圣经，完全是传播以后的二次解读的印象，制作者过于文化自信。
②数字序列的先入观念。一代也有这个问题，罗马数字的谜题输入顺序在游戏中没有任何根据，数字排列到底是顺时针逆时针，从左往右读还是从右往左读，全凭制作者的心情。这个问题非常恶心的就是你可以把所有形式都试一遍，也不是完全解不开。
③翻译导致提示不完全。英语圈用户应该不会有这个问题，完全是翻译没办法完全还原谜题的拼写部分，导致很容易漏过提示。

考虑到独立游戏制作，和游戏充足的容量，这些缺陷都是可以容忍的。
同时也感觉到Capcom每次都把关键字标红和到处撒黄色涂料也实际是大规模3A必须的指引。

总之到达墓地以后,如果碰到谜题解不开，不要犹豫查攻略，这些细节上的缺陷并不是简单一句「解谜难」就能说明的。

A fantastic sequel to Tormented Souls, continuing the journey of Caroline Walker and her sister, Anna, travelling to Chile from Canada to the twisted town of Villa Hess.

After pulling her sister out of time in the first game to rescue her, Caroline is taking Anna down to Chile on the advice of Sister Isabella, a nun of the Church, in order to get her a kind of mental health therapy related to prophetic episodes Anna is having, drawing the future during something akin to a blackout. All isn't as it seems when arriving at the convent in Chile, the sisters of this order belonging to a twisted religion who want to bring forth a being known as Nautilus to change the world into a Silent Hill-like otherworld, needing the twin sisters to complete their plans. Caroline will spend much of the game searching for her kidnapped sister, fighting tortured horrors, mutated creatures, ghosts, and undead Nazis as she explores the town.

Gameplay is on the survival horror side, although being more forgiving due to the lack of inventory management; there is no limit to the number of items, weapons, ammunition, healing items, puzzle objects, lore documents, etc... that you can carry. There are still safe rooms, and you do need to have recording tape in order to actually save your game, but there is no reason you won't have an abundance of tape throughout the whole game. Caroline has a little backward hop she can do to dodge enemies, giving her a couple of I-frames to negate all kinds of enemy attacks. Puzzles are pretty straight forward, clues being available in nearby areas to help to complete them, usually requiring a specific item to get you through as well. There are some sections where you have to make use of Caroline's ability to travel through time, going back to the past in order to make some form of change on the present to be able to continue.

One thing I wanted to touch base on is the number of complaints I have seen made when it comes to both balance and potential soft locks that are being made on the Steam forums. I played through the game on normal difficulty, as Tormented difficulty is initially locked, and had an abundance of ammunition and healing supplies all through the game, including in the starting convent section that people seem to be struggling in. Enemies take the same amount of shots to put down every time, and can be easily finished off with the hand hammer when knocked down to save ammunition. The sledgehammer later in the game is incredibly powerful, handling everything but two late game enemy types with ease - saving even more ammo. Green vases and wooden crates can be busted open with either the hammer or crowbar, ammunition being inside enough of them to add up quite a bit. I didn't encounter any of the known soft locks either during my play time with Tormented Souls II, so YMMV.

Visually, Tormented Souls II looks great. Caroline looks really good, aside from a bit of wonkiness with mouth animations, keeping pretty consistent the whole way through. Environments look great, making exploring the town the game takes place in a treat. Enemies, especially bosses, look suitably creepy for the Silent Hill style vibes they are aiming for.

In terms of the music, this is another area where it feels like they are doing their best to harness some Silent Hill energy, especially in that end song that plays during the credits.

Plenty of references to past bits of horror media are scattered throughout Tormented Souls II, being a delight to stumble across during my playthrough.

I was initially nervous about starting my playthrough of Tormented Souls II after reading the Steam Forums, worried that I might encounter some of the things being reported there, but I ended up having a fantastic time with Tormented Souls II, Caroline being my favourite redheaded Canadian horror heroine.

Ya había jugado la primera entrega de Tormented Souls y este juego no se quedo atrás. No solo nos permite explorar más allá del escenario principal (el convento en esta entrega), si no que expande el mundo a más de un sitio para explorar, sumado a eso, las terroríficas transiciones al otro mundo, son ahora más cortas pero igualmente cargadas de sustos. Los jefes son un dolor de cabeza, en especial el último, pero es muy satisfactorio vencerlos con los recursos que pudiste juntar, te hace pensar con antelación si realmente puedes matar al enemigo de otra manera, sacrificando un poco de salud o gastando la munición potente. Quizá a algunos les resulte molesto la modalidad de cámara fija, pero lo he disfrutado en especial porque he debido controlar mis nervios para seguir avanzando. Una historia increíble que se entiende aún más al re-jugarlo. Espero pronto regresar a la Villa Hess y ayudar a Caroline a encontrar a Anna quebrándome la cabeza resolviendo acertijos y con una clavadora.

[h1]Wonderful In Every Sense Of The Word[/h1]

With the sequel, Tormented Souls solidifies itself as a survival-horror classic that deserves to be mentioned alongside the greatest of the genre. From now on, this series is one of the first that comes to my mind when I think of this genre. The original Tormented Souls was already such an amazing achievement, but the improvements and refinements made in the sequel truly carry it to the next level.

The hook for the first game was, in my opinion, the puzzles and their cryptic nature. I am happy to say that it remains so in the sequel. Just as the first game, the puzzles are multi-layered, long-lasting and, for the most part, incredibly engaging and satisfying to solve and decipher. In an era where big budget games are too afraid to bamboozle players and throw them actual, hard to solve problems, I cannot stress enough how important this aspect is or how much I have missed it.

While the overall puzzle quality is just great, just as in the first game, some puzzles are hard knowledge checks. In this game too, there are times where you need to know about certain references and symbols drawn from the Bible. The game has a very much religious theme, so I guess it is kind of impossible to completely disconnect itself from these knowledge checks, but I still thought certain puzzles required too much of that kind of knowledge. Also, a few of the early game puzzles were too abstract in my opinion. While I love the abstract nature of this game, this quality improves considerably over time and by the end of the game, the early over the top abstraction is not much of an issue.

In my review for the first game, I said that a more sophisticated combat would be one of my top priorities for the sequel. While the combat system is not worlds apart, the refinements made are so useful and necessary that they manage to make the combat feel a lot better. The snappiness/reactivity and weapon variety are the two aspects that were improved the most, and it makes the game feel a lot better than the original. The enemy design is also a big part of why the combat just feels better. The enemies are far more aggressive for the most part and the enemy variety is at a healthy level. There are also 5 big boss fights and each one of them was simply great to figure out. A small criticism I had was the resource economy. While the ammo economy is not terrible, largely because the tough boss fights consume a significant amount of ammo, the abundance of health items I found was almost laughable. I had over 10 med kits and 15 painkillers as I went into the final boss fight. While I loved the fight from a mechanic standpoint, I tanked most of the hits without much concern just because I was so stacked on health items. A better dynamic difficulty adjustment or a general reduction of health items would be perfect and make the game feel deadlier on the standard difficulty.

Artistically, I found the Silent Hill inspirations more common in this game, whereas the Resident Evil ones were more dominant in the original. The first game mostly took place in a mansion and hospital hybrid, but this time around, the level variety is vastly increased, including areas like a convent, town, mall (I loved the Silent Hill 3 vibes in this section), cemetery, school (which might just be my favorite section), church, bunker and more. Additionally, the other side sections are considerably scarier and eerier this time. However, I would have liked a bit more hardcore puzzle and problem solving in these sections. This is a minor thing, which I thought was done better in the original game.

The slow-burn storytelling and the classic note-hunting approach of survival horror are also executed perfectly. The notes especially manage to give each character and boss a distinct personality, while bringing each location to life. Just like the original, deciphering the story piece by piece is also why the game manages to keep your attention for its full runtime. Considering the game's length is on the longer side for this genre, this is a commendable achievement.

All in all, Tormented Souls 2 is a wonderful achievement in every respect. It is one of the best examples of a great sequel that preserves the artistic vision and soul of the original, expanding on nearly every front while strengthening its weaker aspects. It was an unforgettable experience and I am happy to say it is one of the best games I have ever played.

P.S. The safe room theme "Fleeting Haven" is such a vibe. One of the best safe room themes in my opinion.

This was a constant smile immediately followed by a frown, one that made my cheek bones hurt. It took me 5 or 6 days to beat it and I think I was pissed smooth off every time I got off this game. The atmosphere, soundtrack & fixed camera angles are all just as glorious, if not even much better than the first game, but everybody knew the art was going to be fantastic. Seriously, it’s some of the best. On the other less fortunate hand, the gameplay way overstays it’s welcome in the latter half - 3/4 of the way through, genuinely just becomes painful. The puzzles in the first game were hard as well, don’t get me wrong, but some things in this game genuinely made me question if this is beyond archaic or if my brain is slowly deteriorating.

От первой части остался интересный сюжет, интересные головоломки. Графика, музыкальное сопровождение в игре стали лучше. Даже появилась костимизация персонажа.

Но и во второй части были и минусы. Слишком затянуто, много приходилось бегать вперед/назад из-за пустяков. Пара неочевидных моментов и решений загадок, у меня большую проблему вызвала картина на рыбзоводе, где надо было в морозилке, на картине, нажать на сердце девочки (самоый забавный момент, что изначально я пытался это сделать, но там надо нажать в определенный пиксель). Особенно огорчила концовка. В игре их всего две. Но что бы получить хорошую, тебе надо сделать СУПЕР НЕ ОЧЕВИДНУЮ ВЕЩЬ, КОТОРУЮ НИКТО В ЗДРАВОМ УМЕ НЕ БУДЕТ ДЕЛАТЬ (а именно повторно спускаться в локацию, в которой ты был и там тебе нечего делать).

Nada mas que aplaudir a mis compatriotas por este juegazo que nos han entregado!, cuando era niño jugue a muchos resident evil y tambien he jugado a los modernos y este juego cumple completamente a ese terror/accion de este estilo que ya no se ve en los juegos modernos, se extraña mucho juegos como este y tomented souls 2 cumple completamente y nada que envidiar a los resident evil y silent hill antiguos, este juego es una mejora completa al tormented souls 1 tanto en graficos, como jugabilidad, armas,escenarios, jefes, me sorprendio lo completo que es y es bastante largo y muy entretenido, fue una gozada y un honor haberlo jugado!, la historia esta muy bien pulida y es muy original, es de esos juegos que te mantiene con la intriga del porque esta pasando todo.. y te dan pequeñas nociones hasta que casi al final te revelan las explicaciones y terminas entendiendo el porque de todos los sucesos del juego, espero con ansias la siguiente entrega de este juego, sigan asi Dual Effect, son unos cracks!

what's happening of the autosave file? I just got the saw blade and had not saved the progress for a day. Thought that it would be OK without the recorder saving so I just turn off the game, relying on the autosave. Then what? I reload the autosave file the 2nd day and found every single item is missing,, everyone of them. All I have now is the lighter (hold in hand when autosaving happened..).

This game is not ready as a mature product, just wasting my time. I had enjoyed the tormented souls 1 its good. dont let people down by wasting their time. I am going to refund this.

Tormented Souls 2 is a lesser sequel of the amazing original game that learned no lesson from the flaws of its predecessor, while bloating game progression and giving up on polish to re-deliver the same story as the original game. The game overstays its welcome and the final stretch is extremely grating and irritating. The game generally tries to one-up itself so much that it resembles a '70s scifi movie, without letting go the clunky combat encounters, unreasonable health bar that puts rebecca chambers to shame, and its delirious recycled plot. That being said, the [spoiler]convent [/spoiler] and [spoiler]cemetery [/spoiler] areas alone are amazing to play through and they're worth alone a playthrough.
The optimization of the game is spotty, with long loading times, and each of the badly animated, badly acted cutscenes start with a few seconds of silence.
Do I recommend the game? yes, albeit begrudgingly.
Get this on sale if you truly loved Tormented Souls 1, especially since lots of the things you're gonna see are gonna make absolutely no sense if you haven't learned about them from TS1 and the rest isn't worth stressing over.

Tormented Souls 2 is the far improved (and lengthier) sequel to Tormented Souls 1, a game which (mostly) successfully combined elements of the two oldest and most well known game series - Resident Evil and Silent Hill.

From the get-go, TS2 throws you straight into the survival and horror themes with (initially) limited resources and very good lighting & atmosphere. The story is intriguing and a direct sequel to the first game.

The game's level design is very good and has been structured in a smart manner. It tries to help you with actually useful shortcuts and it almost always gives you some breathing room to fight or to completely avoid enemies. The camera angles are also excellent - with very few exceptions.

Unlike the first game, TS2 invests A LOT more into a polished combat system and smart enemy and item placement. It also features 5 bosses, 3 of which can only be killed through unconventional means. And practically 4 of the 5 can be done fully melee, without spending a single bullet. The regular enemies are varied and thematically appropriate for the game. Their attacks are very well telegraphed and varied.

The game also features an i-frame dodge button which is surprisingly well balanced (considering this is a survival horror game). It is not a "I win" button and many enemy attacks and bosses actively punish you for trying to use it ; whereas others reward you for using it.

The sound design of the game is on par with the first game, perhaps slightly improved. I would have liked some heavier investment in this department as ambient sounds and finely crafted sound effects really dial the horror element to 11, as proven by Silent Hill and other titles.

Unfortunately, the game's story takes a dip in the latter half, with weak cutscenes, dialogue and contradictory statements. Still, it gets the job done. A shame though, considering the story started off rather strong.

Nonetheless, Tormented Souls 2 is a great surprise and truly a massive upgrade over the first game. The gameplay is fun and solid and resource management is on point. For people looking for something easier (or harder), the game also features 3 difficulty modes.

Frankly, Tormented Souls 2 absolutely nails the controls and the gameplay aspect of classic, fixed camera angle survival horror. It might perhaps even be the very best old-school survival horror game that I have played, after Resident Evil. And for that, I forgive its flaws and rate it a 9/10.

Can't wait to see the developers stay true to their vision and reach even greater heights!

yo solía jugar mucho silencio gil y residente malvado, anteriormente me gustaban los hombres y tenía problemas severos con la homosexualidad, no paraba de pensar en penes y eso afectaba mi vida personal. Pero gracias a este juego me deshice de la homosexualidad y ahora me gustan las mujeres. Hoy en día tengo tres esposas, cuatro novias, dos amantes, y cinco amigas que recién acabo de conocer pero todas están en la misma cama. También ha aumentado potencialmente el tamaño de mi pene y ha mejorado fuertemente el rendimiento. Recomiendo este juego para los homosexuales que juegan SH y resident si quieren que regresen sus niveles de testosterona

Digne successeur du premier opus, Tormented souls 2 ne fait qu'amélioré ça formule avec un scénario plus construit et mieux travailler. L'inspiration des jeux d'horreur old school à la Dino crisis ou Resident evil ce fait sentir des le début c'est ce qui ma plus directement dans le gameplay. Rare sont les jeux indé qui utilise ce système, mais pour le genre horreur et survie cela rajoute une pression et une immersion significative lors des déplacements. Couplet cela à une bande sonore bien travailler et vous obtenez un combo qui fera frémir votre corps tout entier.

Demasiados puzles, se pasaron en esta segunda parte, deja de ser un buena historia y jugabilidad, por la cantidad de puzles para realizar en cada zona, aburre. dicen que se influenciaron en resident evil y silnet hill para hacer este juego, pues no se que parte de influencia vieron de la saga RE Y SH, porque esa cantidad de puzles no tienen ninguna ds las 2 sagas. le di una oportunidad y jugue 16 hs, y solo ize 2 zonas y comenze una 3ra zona, y ya me canse, no es divertido . asi que por ahora lo dejo por un tiempo.

Tormented Souls II is everything I expected from a game boasting exquisite technical prowess, nostalgia, and visuals. This sequel is worthy of its predecessor, honoring its legacy with purpose while delivering puzzles so ingeniously crafted they will trap the unwary for hours. The level of challenge here is so intense that it stands as a 'high-tier challenge' even when compared to mainstream titles like Silent Hill or Resident Evil; here, the puzzles feel far more intentional and difficult.

The gameplay is excellent, though the combat can be a bit chaotic. While the weapon-swapping system works, it becomes confusing enough during intense moments—which are plenty—to make you lose track of commands during pivotal battles. Conversely, the exploration is incredible; I haven’t seen a game with such complex layers of exploration since Resident Evil CODE: Veronica. In a speedrun, this game will easily be a challenge to complete in under four hours due to its dense logical sequences and hazards that cause both fear and tactical headaches. It is a rollercoaster of mind-bending and unpredictable events.

The story is an interesting point, but expect some cheesy and comedic moments that deviate 100% from the game’s primary tone, especially the interactions with Miguel. Caroline comes across as perhaps 'too nice' for a Survival Horror protagonist, a genre that often calls for grittier or more mysterious leads. Some scenes between her and Miguel lack depth, but this by no means ruins the game. Tormented Souls II goes far beyond its plot; its Latin American setting is rich with Chilean and South American cultural references. It’s a profound and bold move by the developers.

In short, Tormented Souls II is not only a pristine Survival Horror experience that outshines many Resident Evil and Silent Hill entries, but it also offers a cultural repertoire rarely found on Steam. It is rich, deep, and visually irresistible thanks to Unreal Engine 5. Its existence is undoubtedly vital to the history of the genre. I’m already looking forward to Tormented Souls III—long live this remarkable IP.

En comparacion con el primer juego hay muchas mejoras en gameplay, ambientacion y graficos pero las animaciones sobre todo en cinematicas se siguen sintiendo de baja calidad.
Esto es subjetivo pero yo tuve problemas para resolver muchos de los acertijos al punto que tuve que buscar guia, en el primer juego solamente dos o tres de los acertijos me dio problemas.
La historia me parecio bastante buena.
Algunos jefes me parecieron tediosos pero fue porque no sabia que existia una opcion para esquivar ataques hasta que llegue al ultimo jefe el cual tiene ataques que hacen mucho daño.

Геймплейно одна из лучших пародий на старомодные основатели жанра Resident Evil и Alone in the Dark. Прямое продолжение первой части. Управление все такое же неудобное, враги и головоломки стали еще более хардкорными. Играть настоятельно рекомендуется после первой части, чтобы понять, что оно точно вам надо.

Сюжет продолжает первую часть, девушка Каролина сбежала из кошмарной клиники, но теперь ее сестре Анне видятся кошмары, которые она рисует. Которые затем начинают сбываться. В надежде на лечение девушки едут в провинциальный городок Вила-Эсс в какую-то очередную клинику. Где их и закрывают на принудительное лечение и снова начинается бесовщина. Сюжетно можно спокойно играть без первой части.

Геймплей сохраняется из первой части. К сожалению, с управлением. Учитывая, что в игре нужно много целиться и стрелять, лучше играть на клаве, но даже банально направление вы выбираете стрелочками. Бегать персонаж может только вперед. Особенно ощущаются проблемы управления на некоторых боссах, где нужна быстрая маневренность, а ты чисто физически не можешь ее дать. Да и в целом враги убивают достаточно быстро, а количество сохранений огранично и только в определенных комнатах на кассетах их можно делать. Камера статичная, закрепленная за своими комнатами. Меняется только при переходах между ними. Есть коротенькие кат-сцены, но в основном вы предоставлены сами себе.

Головоломки тоже стали более сложными. Некоторые решаются сходу, над другими приходилось долго тупить или действовать перебором. Общая давящая атмосфера и шанс умереть за каждым углом только добавляют нервов. В остальном же, если опустить эти напряжные моменты, то геймплей очень даже интересен, если вы любитель олдскульных хорроров на выживание. Исследуете локации, разгадываете загадки, убиваете или убегаете от врагов. С патронами вечные проблемы по классике. В конце каждой локации босс, причем тактики со всеми различаются, их не просто нужно расстрелять и все, а что-то еще придумывать прям по ходу боя.

Учитывая увеличенную сложность самой игры, ее головоломок и увеличенный хронометраж и цену, рекомендую сначала все-таки пройти первую часть. Игра хорошая, но далеко не всем зайдет - только любителям хардкорный олдскульных хорроров на выживание. Управление жутко неудобное как на клаве, так ина геймпаде. Камера фиксированная и привязана к своим зонам, но к этому привыкаешь довольно быстро. А так это занятный и годный клон первых частей резика, с героиней из первой части и множеством испытаний.

Probably the best "old school" survivor horror out there.

The puzzles are the best in the genre (as expected, having played the first one). Not much to say there.

Combat is good as well. I liked how strategic some of the weapons and melee options felt, and I also enjoyed the “Soul Reaver” school of boss fights. I do have a couple of criticisms, though: the game gives you too many resources. By the end I had plenty of ammo and health, even though I killed most enemies. Also, one of the weapons felt a bit redundant.

Presentation and music are great too. There are a few hiccups: some textures are low resolution (seems like a bug), loading times between areas can be very long, and the sprite for the nail gun is swapped with the shotgun in the menu.

The plot is over the top, but earnest. Liked it very much.

Very good game that manages to maintain its quality all the way through.

The first boss completely ruins what vibe i had with this series. I don't want bullet sponge bosses and the controls need to be better if you want to have boss/enemies with high movement speed or with crazy aoe attack range.

The animation for running while in "Danger" health status needs a much better visual.

Si eres fans de los survivors horrors de la vieja escuela (RE, Silent Hill, Dead Space, Dino Crisis..etc) este es un juego hecho para ti, muy buenos puzles, combates de los de siempre donde tienes que contar cada bala y cada botiquin, un convento/mansion donde inspeccionar cada habitación.

100% recomendable si tu mierda es pasar terror.
Lo mejor: Puzzles, combate y atmosfera

This game is just annoying to play. Though I dig the actual puzzles themselves and how they felt like a fair yet still quite challenging brain teaser for each one I faced, what bothered me to no end was just how incredibly easy it was to get lost in the game. And I don't mean get lost in the sense of not knowing where you are, but more so just getting lost with what to actually do next.

That's where the biggest challenge arose for me and it could've been mitigated with one simple addition that's existed in other survival horror games that are literally over 2 decades old at this point, and that is: having the feature on the map of shifting the color in a room where you've explored/done everything from red to green (or some other color combo) just to indicate that you don't have anything more to do in said room. It would've totally mitigated the incredibly obnoxious amount of backtracking and directionlessness that plagued literally half my experience of this game. It wasn't fun, it wasn't even exactly challenging, it was just boring and tedious to constantly have to wander around aimlessly as I was trying to figure out if I missed something somewhere previously or if I should be in a different area to progress or whatever.

That all said, what REALLY put the nail in the coffin for me for my enjoyment of this game was after finally progressing to the first boss of the game after admittedly having to look up what I was supposed to do next a couple times just because I was so incredibly bored of aimlessly backtracking the area perpetually, I ended up not having enough ammo to defeat them despite actually having saved up quite a lot and was ultimately killed by them due to a totally BS and seemingly undodgeable charge attack they chipped my health away with. It was at that point that I just fully accepted that I simply wasn't having fun with this game for the majority of the time I was playing it up until that point and in turn asked myself "well, why am I still playing this game then?" and when I realized I didn't actually have to keep playing this game anymore I simply decided not to, because games are supposed to be fun/compelling above all else (including challenge) and therefore an unfun/uncompelling gaming experience is just a waste of time for me personally.

More power to you if you actually happen to enjoy what I found to be infuriating tedium in this game, because the game does indeed have some great aspects to it aside from that, but yeah those great aspects just can't make up for me (again) simply not having a good experience actually playing it most of the time.

После совершенно не понравившейся мне первой части, от второй не ожидал ничего особенного - каким же это было заблуждением. Я залип в игру буквально с первых часов: графика, атмосферные локации, загадки и конечно же сюжет.
Графику прокачали, некоторые локации пестрят декором. Особняк интересно исследовать, но каково было моё удивление, когда я вышел из него и понял, что этой локацией, игра не ограничивается: торговый центр, школа, вокзал, завод, кладбище. Ещё есть всякие пещеры, катакомбы и бункер в финале.
Атмосфера пропитана оккультизмом, Лавкрафтом и отсылками на другие произведения. В целом игра напомнила мне игры серии Alone in the dark.
Оружия достаточно, как для ближнего боя, так и для обороны на дистанции. Некоторые экземпляры перекочевали из первой части в такой же стилистике - сделано из г.вна и палок. Особенно хочу выделить "Пушку", которую можно найти на кладбище (рекомендую экономить патроны, чтобы потом тратить их на боссов). Также для оружия можно находить улучшения, чтобы повысить объём обоймы или скорострельность.
Боссы в игре выглядят интересно и бой с ними это не просто "затыкивание и нашпиговывание", а также выполнение определенных действий для победы над ними.
В сюжет вдаваться не буду, лишь отмечу, что он здесь достаточно неплох (на мой субъективный взгляд).
Загадки... Загадки это моя отдельная боль. Может я глупый или определённые действительно настолько не интуитивные. Некоторые из них могу лишь описать своей реакцией - "да б.лять, ну почему нет!!? А как тогда!?".
Из минусов хочу выделить некоторые сюжетные моменты связанные с отсутствием логики у главной злодейки. Ещё иногда раздражали ракурсы которые брала камера, хотя порой они очень кинематографичные и стильные. Очень бесил финальный босс. Последнее, а это... непонятно мне почему героиня погибает в темноте! Может я упустил этот момент с объяснением про тьму. Но вот почему так?

Если вам не понравилась первая часть, то рекомендую дать шанс этой игре.

Une histoire sympa ! gameplay perfectible, et une difficulté un peu exigeante en mode Normal ( qui représente la difficulté vue pour les devs ), des graphisme vraiment incroyable mais un peu inégales avec les graphisme des personnages, vous êtes prévenu ce jeu n'est prévue pour une première expérience de survival-horror type RE, en revanche j'ose espéré que le mode facile sois plus généreux en munitions.

This is definitely one of the best indie survival horror games out there, and that's saying a lot in a big crowd. The environment design is second-to-none, evoking creepy images, brief glimpses at otherworldly locales, and great monster presentation.

Those frustrated with inventory management may be pleased that both this game and the prequel do away with it, letting Caroline carry an arsenal with her at all times. The only potential caveat is that this arsenal won't always be loaded. The game is very tight with ammo management, pushing players to engage a bit more with the melee system (even if that's just hitting enemies when they're downed) and the dodge system, where you press X/Square while aiming, to do a Castlevania-style jumpback with iframes. You can eventually save up to where you feel comfortable making 5 mistakes gunning down an army of the undead, but at the start of the game, this ammo tightness can feel oppressive, especially against the first boss. Save too often, and you may even run out of recording tape.

It's worth it to face the difficulty, though, for how visually appealing the game is throughout. A few times I thought I was nearing the end, only to find just how expansive the world is in this one - taking you to a number of different locations even beyond the starting region. Secrets abound, some unlocking enhancements for your weaponry rather than core story progression, and the puzzles are generally satisfying to complete. The few that I ended up looking up guides for still felt they had a logic to them I just hadn't quite parsed.

Only last note I want to give: At least one puzzle operates off of colors, and I didn't directly notice a colorblind mode available to attach symbols. So, if you deal with colorblindness, you may wish to petition the developers for a change to that puzzle.

What a great sequel, campy, corny and has so much soul in the atmosphere & level/area design, even the facial animations grew on me by the end.

If you wish to get the true ending, just as in the previoius game, you have to make sure address the very obvious "this-character-obviously-dies-if-left-behind-now" and do some backtracking for a miracle cure called jesus tape.

Easily worth the asking price, or if I'm being nitpicky 20% off since it has some technical issues.

My issue was probably very specific case of the lightning falling apart when I played the game with duplicating GPU signal to both 2K oled display and 4K oled tv for friends to watch.

If played in this style the lightning system in-game would die when traversing from well-lit areas to smaller side rooms and back and no light sources would be rendered.

Luckily if one goes through menus to wiggle brightness bar to either direction, save and adjust it back to the original this would make the lights appear again.

Also in dual GPU signal mode the borderless UI/menus just completely die (flickering, mouse input not registering) forcing you to play in exclusive fullscreen.

But I can say it got pretty damn tedious to do it after every 3~4 area transitions.

Antes de comprar, li alguns comentários negativos dizendo que o jogo é pior em tudo em relação ao primeiro, mentira! Para quem gosta de survival horror na pegada mais clássica, que não pega na sua mão o tempo todo e não fica indicando exatamente o que fazer, o jogo pode agradar bastante.

Os puzzles e o backtracking são complexos o suficiente para você se perder várias vezes durante a gameplay. Porém, se parar para analisar o mapa e pensar com calma, tudo acaba fluindo como deveria.

Apesar de trazer ideias parecidas com as do primeiro jogo, a história é interessante o bastante para manter a curiosidade do jogador sobre o que vai acontecer a seguir.

Se fosse para destacar um ponto que realmente piorou em relação ao primeiro, seriam os inimigos e o combate. Os inimigos são bem menos assustadores, e o combate às vezes parece meio desbalanceado: inimigos comuns são difíceis de esquivar ou evitar sem levar um golpe, enquanto as boss fights acabam sendo extremamente fáceis.

PS: Os cenários são lindíssimos, muito bem preenchidos e cheios de detalhes.

¿Que puedo decir de esta maravilla de survival Horror? ¿Te gusto el primero? Pues esta segunda entrega es todo lo que nos gusto de la primer entrega pero con esteroides, la historia está mejor desarrollada, los escenarios son muchisímos más variados, enemigos más interesantes, la musica para cada etapa del juego es esplendida y la ambientación en un deleite.

¿La unica cosa que no me convencio? Quizas el tema de las animaciones faciales de los personajes, creo que en el primero estaba un poquito mas logrado, aunque se compensa con el voice acting. Y ese es otro tema, OJALA tener en el futuro un doblaje a español latino de este juego, ya que este juego es made in LATAM. Seria perfecto.

Bonus: vi que lo acaban de actualizar e implementaron el nuevo Game Plus al terminar tu primer round, esa es la cereza sobre el pastel pues agrega muchas cosas nuevas y eso fue mi motivamente para que lo comprara. En fin... Cinema puro

I want to be fair because this is not a bad game, but I was let down. In my opinion the original Tormented Souls is one of the most underrated survival horror titles of all time. It’s in league with games like RE: Remake and Silent Hill 2 while also being a clear homage.

I wish I enjoyed the sequel as much but maybe I had too high expectations. I just beat Crow Country before it — another fantastic survival horror game while also being an homage — so yea I had high expectations. I was looking forward to this more than RE9.

This game however was one step forward, and several steps back. You once again play Caroline Walker who gets her (twin) sister Anna kidnapped by a bunch of nuns that are part of a Lovecraftian cult.

Storywise, it’s decent. Not the most original but I was intrigued by the lore and wanted to keep uncovering the secrets of the cult. Pretty twisted stuff. I’d say I’m in the minority in that I actually liked the story.

Along the way, you’ll have to deal with an assortment of the undead and this is where the game starts to lose me. The combat just isn’t great. That makes sense for Survival Horror, but I felt that they nerfed Caroline’s nailgun from the first one. Truly, the only gun that felt good in my hands was my trusty, rusty shotgun. You get a good variety of other weapons including a crossbow that fires acid test tubes, a chainsaw, and a handcannon (TS2’s version of a Magnum).

Several times while on controller I would either get stuck in an animation or my gun wouldn’t go off in response. Especially true of the chainsaw, that was more of a burden to use than fun. Maybe I had to rev it up more? But the difference between using a chainsaw in a game like Re4 and this is night and day. I did not like the chainsaw as it felt underwhelming for taking care of enemies and even smaller enemies took forever to die in what should of been a relatively OP-mid to late game weapon.

The game is challenging in Standard Difficulty. I got myself soft locked in the first area, the Convent, by running out of ammo. This is par for the course for original Survival Horror so I don’t have many qualms about this. I am a fan of the OG Resident Evil games and that is very much in that vein. But it was annoying that the first boss seemed more akin to a dark souls’ boss than it should have been lol.

For me the standout quality of the game is its beautiful environments. The fixed camera angles allow for beautiful environments that feel genuinely creepy and atmospheric. My one qualm is that they are almost too akin to RE: Remake (more on this point later). The quad-like area in the convent looks almost identical to the Courtyard from the original Resident Evil.

Each environment zone has its own unique flavour which I liked. Though I personally think the first area was the strongest in terms of creepiness. If I had to rank each zone, it would be something like: Convent > Town=The Mall> School > Cemetery > Processing Plant = Bunker

This is a game that wears its influences on its sleeve. The Town section is very reminiscent of Silent Hill. I quite liked the idea of the mall as this Liminal Space and it even kind of reminded me a bit of the game, Dead Rising.

Remember my RE comparison? Well, the game does jump the shark in my opinion at the end of the mall when a children’s ride starts moving on its own. The game moves from creepy to camp as we are then thrust into a world where we are attacked by zombie pigs and zombie crabs. Tonally this didn’t work for me. At that point, the game is trying too hard to be Resident Evil. In fact, there is a nod to Capcom in the Arcade. This is a well-worn trope in the RE games, but it does not feel earned in this game. Newsflash for the developers, you are not Capcom and this isn’t Resident Evil.

Resident Evil’s goofiness is earned because it’s already established those expectations. When you do it isn’t as charming as you think it is. This game had so much potential and at times it feels like it’s just settling for RE: Clone.

Puzzle-wise, I think this was a step up from the last game. The puzzles were challenging but mostly fair. I could solve 90 per cent of them on my own, with 10 per cent of them being a little too obscure and I had to look them up. Most of the time there are environmental clues to help you figure out a solution. Pay attention to those fixed angles. The map is also very helpful.

That said some clues were too hidden. That phone overlay clue, really? And it took me forever to figure out that there was second fuse in the School area. I backtracked multiple times trying to figure out how to open up the second-floor gate with one fuse. The fact that you can miss the locker if you don’t interact with it shouldn’t be a thing. There are candles to help guide you but not every environment with candles you can interact with, so this is easily missable. I will say overall the puzzles are memorable and a highlight of the game though.

My break down would be something like this:

+ Environmental Design
+ Puzzle design
+ Much better VA this time around
+ Sound design
+ Cool bosses

- Soundtrack is worse than the first game
- Combat is clunky and often just bad
- Balancing. I found that a lot of areas would be overly generous with heals and saves but not enough with ammo. Yes, you have to be resourceful but I don’t want to get softlocked when I’m mid game. There should be more ammo. I literally would scout ahead and pick up more ammo because I wasn’t getting enough.
- Tonal whiplash and goofiness
- Bugs: The game will just crash if you eject the tape in the cassette player

+/- Mixed: Storywise. Competent story but once again a little too much Resident Evil influence. Too much of the influences on its sleeve. A lot of backtracking. Like Super Metroid levels of Backtracking. The game is longer than the first one and slightly overstays its welcome imo.

Overall: Good game, but disappointed. Play the first game for sure, a masterpiece of the genre. Play this game only if you played the first RE and enjoyed it.

I think at the time I played the game it had some technical issues. Because of them I had hard time giving the game any review, but in all honesty looking back, the game was very enjoyable and gave me the classical survival horror experience that is so hard to find in today's games.
Having this in mind and also seeing how the devs released a few patches to fix the issues, I believe the game surely deserves a positive review.

It runs smoothly, the optimisation is good, it's well worth its asking price in that regard but man I have a long rant incoming.

The forced locked mouse cursor is annoying, the outfit selection menu as well. No FPS lock option, and MSAA AA is mentioned but I can't select it. A lot of small jank but honestly, I can overlook it, it's still a product worthy of its price tag.

But man the setting annoys me, like those horror B movie.
I want you guys to picture this: the villains waited for years to get their hands on these sisters yet they make the MC's escape easier. Like if you guys are going to torture and experiment her, don't make her escape easier by leaving her cloth neatly folded in a corner of the room for when she wakes up. They're literally helping her in case something happened to them. I have no problem with additional goofy outfits as optional content, but in this situation, a bath towel or hospital gown or some kind of similar rags would make more sense (and are tied to the plot) unlike that cheer leader outfit. My point is, the devs made goofy extra outfits (which is fine, I love having skins) but then her default outfit state makes no sense. So to me the priorities feel shifted.

Wouldn't it make more sense that she wakes up, will all those syringes stabbed into her body, then only find a towel or some rags, then finding some more decent clothing being part of "her gearing up phase"? They also showed Carloine naked in the beginning of the 1st game btw.

I could chalk it up to budget limitations, they couldn't afford working on adding extra footsteps sounds since she's barefoot or something. But the devs, not only made barefoot SFX specifically for the 4 times her feet touch the floor, they made a whole set of SFX for the (common) enemies that are barefoot. So they assests already exist, so I can't even cope about this. Yes there are mods, but I shouldn't have to use mods and let's say there's a mod for a hospital gown, the footsteps would still sound like she's got her boots. And we all know how immersion is important in horror games. Also since she's got boots, why do the footsteps SFX, when she's walking on puiddles, make the same sound as bare feet? As far as I know, shallow liquid don't slience the sound of shoes.

Now do you guys know about Haunting Ground (Demento), the MC (Fiona) gets abducted, then wakes up with barely a towel in a butchery. Finding clothing is part of the main plot and she does find nice clothing but it's actually part of the plot, she's supposed to be groomed for some other reason. Later on she's victim of experiments so she finds herself barely dressed in a hospital gown. Fan service? Most likely. Does it make sense? Definitely. As optional outfits, this game had a silly frog onesie, some kind of bongage leather outfit (it's literally called "Illegal in some states") and that's fine, it's extra content. I didn't like those, but it made sense her waking up with nothing but a towel made sense and the fact she find normal clothing alter on as well. The bad guy didn't make her escape easier, it simply made sense. Even RE6 did this, during the Sherry section where she wakes up in a lab.

TLDR, I don't know if the devs are going too far or not enough, but I wouldn't be annoyed if they either simply never show Carloine in a (almost) naked state, depending on the game, or made it poart of the gameplay and outfits selection. Remember guys, her (almost) naked body, the footsteps, every assets are already in the game, it's barely a matter of using them in a more meaningful way.

Где-то после середины игры начинается лютое душнилово, начиная от загадок заканчивая локациями и отсутствием карты в церкви. Без гайда уйму времени можно потратить, тем более если идти к определённой концовке. Кому то понравится такое. Самое то чтоб сгореть.
Как для классического сурвайвл-хоррора всё прекрасно, но душно.

Крайне Рекомендую данную игру! Сначала у меня бомбило откуда взялась сестра? Но потом я увидел достижение в первой части на хорошую концовку и вонять по этому поводу смысла нет! Сюжет продолжается! Графика улучшилась ввели предметы для вандалов (Ящики и вазы - что можно разбивать). Сюжет довольно простой местами предсказуемый но игра берет не этим! А скорее страшными моментами во время прохождения, разработчики ввели копье (Электрическое - и как я понял оно бесконечное в отличии от первой части) после первого прохождения игры - и это правильно! После этого хочется ещё раз её пройти! Появился Миноискатель с которым можно добывать откапывать предметы и по большей части на эти предметы указывают статуи! Ребята постарались на славу и сделали хороший продукт, если вам понравилась первая часть то смело устанавливайте! Дальше пойдут СПОЙЛЕРЫ!

Что понравилось:
1- Загадки на высшем уровне! Я как обычно завалился на музыкальных (В Школе) ну я далёк от музыки XD. Исписаны два листа в тетради для загадок какие-то смотрел как проходят. (Типа открыть дверь в темноте, основной подвох что нужно потушив свет нужно заходить в комнату и только тогда срабатывает скрипт).
2- Море отсылок на произведения от которых вдохновлялись авторы вы можете их увидеть на моих скринах на странице.
3- Модели стали более проработанные и более красивые!
4- Смена локаций - В начале я подумал что я не уйду дальше монастыря но потом когда мне открылся город я был приятно удивлён! Да может в локациях не так долго прибываешь и загадок чуть меньше но это совсем не мешает учитывая что в игре я провёл 16 часов при первом прохождении на стандартном уровне.

Что не понравилось:
1- Предсказуемость сюжета - В общем мне было понятно что в конце Бабку убьёт монстр который окажется глав Боссом! Это стандартный ход и она достаточно мерзкая поэтому по другому просто быть не могло а монстр окажется как обычно гигантом с парой "фазами" в битве...
Также я понял что потом я спущусь в бункер и там будет самая чертовщина, но пока это все работает но как мне кажется если будет желание запилить 3 часть в третий тот-же подход будет казаться как повтор. Хотя это также можно назвать стилем...

Общий Итог:
Игра отличная! Стоит своих денег! Проходить одно удовольствие, после прохождения сделали так что хочется пройти ещё раз! Мир прописан хорошо, игра кажется продолжением без ошибок в повествовании. Ребята (Разработчики) молодцы - постарались на славу! Рекомендую к прохождению!

Super recomendado para fãs de survival horror, assim como o primeiro. Extremamente inspirado nos Resident Evil originais (com diversos easter eggs), e com puzzles muito inspirados em Silent Hill. Por mais que a jogabilidade e criatividade de puzzles tenham sido melhoradas em relação ao primeiro, sinto que muitos defeitos que existiam antes ainda continuaram nessa sequência. O mapa pra navegação é horrível e o jogo se garante que você vai lembrar que a ferramenta que pegou é pra ser usada num local que passou há quase duas horas. Mas, defeitos à parte, foi uma boa e nostálgica experiência.

Pretty much a quintessential sequel insofar as being more of the same specific sub-genre of Survival-Horror that the first game excelled at providing, across a broader visual variety of environments, with better graphics, and slightly more polish on top of the tight gameplay loop the prior entry offered.

Everything the first 'Tormented Souls' did well is achieved with more or less the same quality, just simply expanded upon, albeit with more breadth than any depth. There are twice as many weapons, more besides in New Game +, slightly more kinds of enemies, but combat is otherwise identical; likewise, there's a myriad of different environments, each with different flavors from one another, but feeling aggressively like distinct levels, lacking the same degree of interconnectivity (neither between one another, or within their self-contained 'area') or the scale of the first game's singular mansion, with navigation coming across as dramatically more linear as you progress from one to the next, without backtracking. And then while there are technically *more* puzzles, the obtuseness of them has been dramatically turned down, which ultimately led to me breezing through them without much thought or time invested, rather than feeling like an integral part of the gameplay compared to shooting or bringing one of many key items to the necessary slots beyond which was progression.

None of that makes for a 'bad' game. It's fine and well-made for what it is, a smoothed-over, better-funded version of what the prior game came out to be, and a clear veneration of the specific type of Survival-Horror the devs clearly prefer over the more streamlined and action-heavy contemporary renditions. There's nothing especially egregious to be found here compared to the first 'Tormented Souls' that will detract from the experience, but very little to distinguish the two games from one another, more of the same rather than anything iterative.

Great if you liked the first game and are hungering for a slightly-longer encapsulation of the same mechanics, but there isn't much more here to be had, except for a much more engaging final boss that tries to better-incorporate the game's combat systems with mixed results.

I’ve just finished Tormented Souls 2 after around 10 hours, and overall I had a fantastic time with it.

From start to finish the pacing kept me hooked. The game constantly introduces new environments, puzzles and story developments at a steady rhythm that never really lets the experience go stale. Even though the game can be quite difficult at times, I never felt completely stuck or frustrated. The challenge level felt fair and satisfying, especially for anyone who enjoys classic survival-horror design.

The story was also a strong highlight for me. As the narrative unfolds it keeps pulling you forward, revealing just enough to keep the mystery alive without dragging things out. By the end I felt genuinely invested in what was happening and wanted to see it through.

Visually, the game has a great overall style and atmosphere. The environments are detailed and the lighting does a great job of creating tension and mood. The art direction fits perfectly with the survival horror tone.

My only real criticism would be the character models. The textures and facial models sometimes look a little off, and the hair in particular can appear slightly unnatural compared to the otherwise strong presentation. It’s a small detail, but it stands out because the rest of the game looks so good.

That said, this is a relatively minor issue in the grand scheme of things. The gameplay, story, puzzles, and overall atmosphere more than make up for it.

Overall, Tormented Souls 2 is a really enjoyable survival horror experience. If you like challenging puzzles, classic horror design, and a story that keeps you engaged from beginning to end, it’s definitely worth playing.

Плюсы:
Страшно, атмосферно, интересно изучать локации, не самые простые головоломки, история увлекает.
Минусы:
Впечатление портит комбинация фиксированной камеры, ужасного управления и корявая физика героини. По сути тебе страшно только потому что ты знаешь что если выпрыгнет монстр, то ты его еле одолеешь. Без огнестрела победить не вариант, а патронов вечно не хватает. И тут хоть 1 фактор бы исключить и боёвка ощущалась бы комфортнее. Например, сделайте вид от 3-го лица, чтобы можно было удобнее отходить от врага. Либо сделайте более быструю реакцию героини и проще управление.

Игру рекомендую тем, кто любит классические сурвайвал хорроры с головоломками. Но готовьтесь что ж*па будет сгорать часто из-за кривого управления, кривой героини и фикс камеры.

Игре ставлю 10 из 10. Классная атмосфера, звуки, которые всё больше и больше нагнетают. Игра сама по себе сложная, моментами душная, но всё равно это прекрасный игровой опыт, который я давно не встречал. Советую эту игру пройти каждому, неважно, на какую концовку. Главное — прочувствовать боль всех персонажей, в частности Каролины Уокер. Так же хочу отметить, что загадки по сравнению с первой частью стали легче и интереснее. Мне понравилось разнообразие оружия, могу похвалить красивую графику и хорошую оптимизацию. Удачи всем в прохождении!

キーボードマウスで操作していますが違和感なく操作できます。
暗闇にいると数秒でゲームオーバーなので基本はライターを握りながら探索、敵との遭遇時は明かりが灯るところで戦闘をするというゲームデザインです。
暗闇の中では武器を振るうことすら出来ません。…と言う事は、逆を返せば暗闇しかないところでは敵と遭遇しないのでは…！？（未クリアなのでメタ的発言）

怖さは正直あんまり怖くないです。前作と似たような感じですが、バイオ１を彷彿とさせる閉鎖勘による恐怖演出は素晴らしいです。
固定カメラならではのそこを歩くという恐怖を見事に演出しています。
しかしながら、それが良くも悪くも操作に弊害を及ぼしてしまっているのも確か。敵が死角になってしまうと距離感が全く掴めないのでTPS 視点で操作出来たらいいのになぁと言うのが正直な所。

武器は構えると自動で照準を合わせてくれるので、構えさえすればテキトーに発砲しても攻撃は目標をしっかり捉えてくれます。
記憶が曖昧ですが前作は自分で照準合わせていたような…？？キーコンフィグにターゲット変更の項目があったのはそういう訳があるのですね納得。

武器構え中は無敵時間のあるバクステが可能ですが、硬直がガッツリあり攻撃の硬直中にキャンセルで出す等のアクション要素は皆無で無暗に発砲しているようでは敵の強靭値を削り切れずにフクロにされるので気をつけましょう。

謎解きはクソムズすぎて現状行き詰っております。攻略サイトみちゃおっかなーってレベルでこのヒントでそうそうに解けますか？って感じでムズすぎます。答えわかってりゃそりゃねえ…って具合にヒントも渋すぎると言った所です。

DLC込みのデラックスエディションは衣装が3つほどございます。前作からのファンであれば無印の頃の衣装があるので買ってみるのもありかと。

PS1時代のバイオ１をプレイしたことのあるオッサン共には是非お勧めの逸品ですね。
ホラゲが今でもガチでビビれるオッサンであるならば、バイオ1当時の恐怖体験を再び体験できる事でしょう。

Good fun old-school survival horror for sickos (positive.) It does suffer a little from the fixed camera switching perspectives causing your analog stick input to get a little wonky, but it wasn't too bad. Atmosphere was good, VA work was all pretty solid, I thought the story was interesting. Boss fights were neat and weren't just "fill the enemy with bullets to win" which I always appreciate. Will have to do a NG+ playthrough at some point, since I understand that adds some fun new unlockables and such.

Overall, huge rec for folks that like more old-school style survival horror games.

量大管饱，2是1的两倍还多的流程。多了回避，虽然回避按起来硬直很大，手感不好，且需要架起武器，但是真的很有用。这次的BOSS们都要用到回避，BOSS难度也提高很多。听说是小工作室扛不住极端女权组织压力，所以这次女主卡罗琳变丑了很多，很可惜。

Très bon jeu pour les fan de survival horror a l'ancienne. Le jeu peut paraître parfois un peu frustrant niveau maniabilité, mais on s'y fait vite.

Il y a des aller retours qui sont clairement là pour rallonger la durée de vie, mais à part ça, l'ambiance, la musique, les ennemis de base sont challengeant, les boss peuvent être très difficile si on veut économiser nos ressources. (N'ayez pas peur de tirer en mode normal, j'ai voulu éco et j'ai terminé avec moult munitions de shotgun... le jeu est très généreux surtout sur le fusil a pompe.)

Ne sous estimez pas les armes de mêlée surtout sur les ennemis au sol.

De manière globale que ce soit sur le 1 ou le 2, j'ai énormément apprécié le jeu, surtout pour son prix ça vaut le détour, fan de Resident evil a l'ancienne, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.

Attention toutefois les énigmes sont dures ! Parfois même tirés par les cheveux.

De lo mejor que puedes jugar en survival horror clásico, de los de antes, con muchos puzzles y exploración y con acción reducida respecto a los actuales de este género Mucha gestión de inventario para no quedarte en bragas a mitad de juego. El juego logra un equilibrio estupendo entre todo ,quedando un obra muy disfrutable y con una duración mas que considerable teniendo en cuenta las de este tipo de aventuras(me ha durado 22 horas).Su fuerte está en el acabado artístico, sobre todo en los escenarios que brillan mucho mas que el diseño de los personajes. La parte mas floja se encuentra en el apartado técnico, donde las cinemáticas y su doblaje son testimonio de ello, pero es perdonable sabiendo que el título es indie ,de un estudio chileno, el cual esta desarrollado por dos hermanos. Aunque no es imprescindible ,es recomendable jugar al primero para tener un mejor contexto, pero como digo, se puede jugar a este directamente sin problema.
