Отличная игра на пару вечеров. Дизайн просто на высшем уровне, по локациям интересно бегать, потрясающее музыкальное сопровождение, записки интересно читать погружаться в лор. Сюжет интересный, но бывают бредовые нестыковки. Из серьёзных минусов - камера в стиле классических resident evil, такое не всем понравиться. я сам какое то время привыкал.

DEUX FOIS que je perds 1h30 de progression à cause de ce système POURRI qui ne pardonne aucunes erreur. Sérieux, QUI a validé une idée aussi DEBILE ???? Et qu'on me dises pas que c'est fait exprès pour être dur. NON, là c'est du game design qui rallonge artificiellement la durée de vie d'un jeu.

I truly would like to like this game and leave a good review, this reminds me those games of my childhood but unluckly it is not. The first save point is not reachable without encountering many monsters and yet you can heal it is pretty far still. Actor's voices are like they are talking in a bar having a coffee. Cameras and sound are pretty great, like environment as well.

This game is nonsense. The mansion, the enemies, the protagonist herself (Caroline), the story, none of it makes any logical sense. The criticisms of the horrifying voice acting, and combat, I agree. Where my agreement diverges is on the puzzles and atmosphere. It’s clear Tormented Souls abandoned realism, logic and story telling to achieve the vibe it was going for. And, it nailed it.
To get the combat out of the way first, It’s terrible. I hate to use this term, but the combat is clunky and bare-bones. Your options in combat are two melee attacks, two ranged weapons and a backwards dodge. That’s it. Think of the Resident Evil 2 remake combat but jank. You shoot the “zombie” ‘till it falls over. Then, you run up to the zombie and “stab” it a couple times until it dies. For Tormented Souls, there is a delay when preforming any of these actions. Additionally, your melee weapon doesn’t magically appear in your hands like the marketing video shows. Instead, you have to open your inventory and switch weapons from there. On to the backwards dodge, I first thought it was not safe from the jank either. I thought it nearly useless, because dodging causes your character to drop her aim. In turn, the enemy is on you again before you can ready your weapon to fight back. You’re better off turning around and running to create distance. However, I have found niche uses for it as I progressed through the growingly deadly mansion.
Next, the puzzles are great, but they get really difficult to figure out towards the end of the game. There is no way in hell I was ever going to figure out that grandfather clock puzzle and that gramophone/rhythm puzzle without a walkthrough.
Even after all of that, I still recommend Tormented Souls. There is a sincere vibe in game. Like, the game knows it’s horror and is trying to give you what you paid for: Immersion, tension and scares. This game is a joy to play late at night. For example, it was midnight. I’m sitting in my chair with my small dog sleeping in my lap. The lights are off. I’m rummaging through all the text files and clues in the game looking for solutions to my puzzles. My consciousness drifts deeper into the game as I progress. I get to this valve puzzle in a generator room. With a few turns of valves the puzzle is completed. I walk out the door to carry on and find an enemy that wasn’t there before. He makes a break for me in his wheelchair that’s screaming for some WD-40. Now, as I said, the combat is terrible and jank. Being aware of this, I panic. My dog is looking up at me confused. The enemy slashes me with his 16 inch long knife fingers. I run back through the door I came from and open my inventory to heal. My character has taken damage and her heart is beating loud and fast. This sound tips my dog’s anxiety over. He freaks out. Running throughout the house barking as loudly as possible. My wife wakes up and jumps out of bed to investigate the commotion. Consequently, I have to bust out the headphones for Tormented Souls, and the game is even better with them.
I should also note that the game does have bugs, but nothing that infuriated me or broke the game. I enjoyed this game and am likely to come back to it again for the 100%.

Чтобы убить даже самого первого монстра вам нужно:
1) Открыть инвентарь и заменить зажигалку на гвоздемет.
2)Сделать три выстрела.
3)Уклониться от атаки.
4)Сделать ЕЩЕ три выстрела.
*Стреляет она так же быстро, как машет "тяжелым двуручным боевым молотом" - сокращенно Ф.О.М.К.А.
5)Открыть инвентарь и заменить гвоздемет на фомку.
*Патронов вам дают впритык чтобы заставить ей пользоваться
6)Сделать два удара по упавшей но живой твари.

Итого 6 выстрелов с гвоздемета + 2 удара фомкой в упор.
В это же время ГГ чтобы умереть и откатиться на полчаса жизни назад, (а то и на час смотря где сделали сейв) достаточно пропустить 2 - 3 удара.

После примерно трех смертей с последующим повторным сбором всех потерянных (еще не найденных) предметов и слушаньем (скипом) диалогов, вместо напряжения и испуга игра начинает вызывать ненависть и желание избавиться от нее поскорее.

Разработчикам нужно было определиться что они хотят хоррор или шутер.
В итоге не получилось ни того, ни другого.

Душная игра, без нормальных сейвов, еще и без выбора сложности, да для фанатов резака и первого сх норм, но даже там, для первого прохождения не обязательно было терпеть на харде, сомнительные механики которые простро добавляют лишних действий в игре, типо разводного ключа в начале. Враги впитывают слишком много урона. Поиграл часок, умер откатился на 30 минут назад, спасибо!

Very good spiritual successor of RE and RE 0.
I've played those 2 games when l was little and sick at home, during winter... my room was cozy and my mother was taking care of me. Everything was perfect and lost.
I've played this game in similar circumstances, l was sick again and l decided to finally play it. There was no one taking care of me, but being alone was one of my dreams and drinking something hot while playing this game was something magical and healful.

Muy recomendado, enemigos un poco repetitvos, en mi caso me pasé medio juego casi sin municion por jugar como rambo jeje. GRaficamente no esta mal pero nada fuera de lo comun. La historia bastante conseguida. Los puzzles a mi personalmente me han parecido bastante complicados algunos.En resumen es un juego que todos deberian de probar.

A fantastic survival horror game with classic influences. The highlight of this game for me were the puzzles which were some of the best and most creative I have seen in the genre. Presentation is very good with lots of anxiety driving atmosphere and tracks and pretty graphics.

Performance wise, the game ran flawlessly on my PC, but on Steamdeck I could only manage 30fps no matter what I tried. The Steamdeck seems like it is capable of running it at 60fps, but in certain scenes or areas, it sees unusual drops in framerate. Overall, I played the game on PC and Steamdeck with a roughly 3:7 split and enjoyed my time.

Combat is a little janky, but it is easy enough to get past enemies or kill them. It's worth noting that there are no difficulty options and saves are limited. If you're not into that, this may put you off, but I'd still recommend trying it out at least.

Very nice homage to Resident Evil and Silent Hill, with a touch of Fatal Frame 2 and Alone in the dark. I enjoyed solving puzzles and exploring the mansion and the environments are gorgeous. Game isn't very original though.

My main issues were:

- the protagonist is a fashion disaster and has horrible voice acting.
- the enemy design is a bit uninspired and there isn't much variety.

Still really enjoyed it overall! Gave me the classic RE experience.

I actually like tank control games, but what was super frustrating was the way the inventory is used, things like flipping through maps by using a cursor instead of idk q and e or some ♥♥♥♥. the enemies are a complete joke, by the time i cleared most of the rooms in the first area i had 70 extra ammo saved up. voice acting like many said is terrible. and why the hell did they have to animate some enormous jiggling tits on the protagonist? in short, the game is barely a challenge, more frustrating than fun, and ridiculous.

I first discovered this game through listening to the soundtrack (which I have no complaints about; it's very atmospheric and worth a listen). I really wanted to like this game and I hate leaving negative reviews, but honestly, it was the puzzles and the voice acting that killed it for me. Every single puzzle felt like it had to have an extra step for no reason. As much as I do love the monster/level designs, I cannot recommend this game. I'm 38, as of this review. I grew up with old school horror titles Like RE: 1 & 2, Silent Hill 1 & 2, Parasite Eve, Dino Crisis, etc.
(Just so you get an idea of where I'm coming from).

After being inundated with what seemed like a myriad horror games-turned-action, I was genuinely delighted to see a game that had some of that old school horror vibe:

The tank controls. The scarcity of ammunition. The feeling of fear as you walk into a room with an enemy that you can't yet see, due to the camera angle - and so you creep forward, anxiously, hoping a monster isn't right there as the camera angle shifts.

The overall design of Tormented Souls definitely mimics much of what you'd come to expect from a typical classic RE game.
....and yet, try as I might, I just couldn't bring myself to enjoy TS as much as I wanted to.

The story is as cliche as they come.
Essentially, the story begins in an absurdly abrupt and illogical way:

Random girl.
Random Photo arrives in the mail.
"Okay, I'll just head off to abandoned horror-vibe hospital in the middle of nowhere."
"Great, now I'm trapped. Time to MacGyver the sh** out of this place."

And there is really no nuance or finesse with the story delivery.
Exactly what you think it is, within the first ten minutes of the game, is essentially what it ends up being.
There's no surprise or twist.
The person you think will be evil, probably will be.
The person you think you are, you probably are.

It's almost childish in it's simplicity. Which is ...fine? If the game had other redeeming qualities. But it mostly doesn't.
Combat is more like a chore, really.

'Walk into a room and find ammo? Almost guaranteed there's an enemy in the next room that you will need the same amount of ammunition to kill.'

It's almost like a slow dance.
'They move - predictably. You Shoot. They fall. They get up again. You finish them off with shots or a crowbar'

It's all very ...'routine'?

It removes any real sense of tension, except for [i]maybe[/i] wondering if there will be ammunition available to resupply? Which is a fairly non-issue; unless you shoot blindly at the walls for fun.

And the voice acting.
My god. It was painful to listen to.
It felt like they genuinely just grabbed someone in the office, from accounting, and said "Hey, read these lines".
They come across as though the actors read them completely devoid of context. And it hurts to listen to at times.

Now, I wasn't expecting some GoT level acting here, but when you have a wife that complements everyone for every thing, and she walks into the room and says "What the hell garbage are you even listening to?". Well, you know something's up.
It got to a point where I had to skip dialogue because it was becoming truly cringe - and not in a funny way.

Another (very specific) gripe I had, was the map implementation.
Okay, I can get on board with having us discern our layout and position through reading map landmarks etc. No problem - it's just some spatial awareness and mind-mapping practise. Par for the course in a puzzle game.

But every-single-time I have to open the map, I need to drag the cursor to select the floor and wing I need?
Every-single-time I need to double check my path, I need to 'press map, drag my cursor to highlight 2f WEST wing, move the map around. Close the map. "Oh wait, which room was it again?" open map, drag cursor AGAIN, highlight 2f WEST wing ...again....'

..hopefully you see my point.
It may sound like a non-issue. Until you realise that you are opening your map so much, that it becomes more than just a tedious dance of repetition just to re-open the page you were literally just looking at.
It really shouldn't have been hard to just let the map stay open on the last page you had opened.

Finally, the last issue I had was the art direction for the protagonist.
She just doesn't fit. At all.
Hell, even in the intro scene she is wearing what seems to be tactical gear in a floral dress....whilst being in an old cottage/house?
It's bizarre.
Which is strange, because the actual art direction for the game itself is quite gorgeous. The set pieces are stunning, and the overall visual vibe is very well done.
But the protagonist just stands out in the worst possible way; like a Cheeseburger in a fine sushi restaurant.
She easily could've been given some more fitting attire once the actual game began.

Look, I know I may sound like a scrooge here, but there are some genuinely good things about the game:

The music in the game is quite beautiful. Genuinely.
The environmental/theatrical sound design is also pretty nice - evoking the right emotions at the requisite moments.
As previously mentioned, the overall visual design is very gorgeous, and I found myself enjoying the detail on more than one occasion.
The puzzles themselves were, for the most part, quite logical, and well thought out. It didn't feel like Grim Fandango levels of 'unicorn logic' needed to solve the puzzles. So, progress occurred quite swiftly, and thus pacing felt organic.

Which brings me to my concluding points:

I moved through a LOT of the game in my 4.7 hours. Although, I became so bored with the tedium, poor voice acting, and extremely cliche story, that I eventually decided to watch the rest of the game on a no commentary YouTube playthrough. I just didn't feel like the game was worth my time.
Truthfully, I was only about an 30-60 minutes away from the end of the game from the point I stopped playing.

And even whilst watching the playthrough, I hoped there would be some final redeeming quality, narratively. Yet, there was no redemption to be found.

This is one of those tricky situations where I would [b]love[/b] to give Tormented Souls a neutral score. But I can't. And I know there are myriad of positive reviews already, and so I am resigning myself to a negative review - for those with more discerning tastes, who dive into the negative reviews in the hopes of some fairer judgement.

My true opinion of TS is this:

For pure nostalgia, and some cheap old-school vibes (albeit with a shallow story), Tormented Souls is fine.
But that's all it'll ever be. And if you go in expecting more, like I did, you'll walk away disappointed.

Take away what you will from that.

Tho something I want to point is that sometimes the pages on the diaries either don't show as text or sometimes the text does not even fit, like dates. Fortunatly I know spanish so I could still read them, but someone else that do not know would probably miss stuff

Quando comecei Tormented Souls, senti imediatamente aquela sensação nostálgica dos survival horrors do começo dos anos 2000. É o tipo de jogo que parece existir justamente para preencher um vazio que o gênero deixou nos últimos anos. Desde os primeiros minutos dá para perceber claramente as influências de clássicos como Resident Evil e Silent Hill, principalmente na câmera fixa, na exploração cuidadosa e no clima constante de tensão.

O combate é simples e não é exatamente o foco da experiência. Existem poucas armas disponíveis e elas não têm muita complexidade, mas funcionam bem o suficiente para lidar com os inimigos quando necessário. No fundo, ele serve mais como um elemento de pressão do que como algo estratégico ou profundo.

Onde o jogo realmente brilha é nos puzzles. Eles são muito bem elaborados, frequentemente complexos e extremamente satisfatórios de resolver. É aquele tipo de puzzle que exige observar o ambiente, conectar pistas e realmente pensar antes de agir. Quando você finalmente entende a lógica por trás de um deles, a sensação de recompensa é muito boa.

Outro ponto marcante é como o jogo praticamente não pega na sua mão. Na maior parte do tempo, ele não explica o que fazer, não aponta objetivos claros e não guia o jogador. Isso faz com que a exploração seja muito mais orgânica: quando você descobre algo importante, parece que foi mérito totalmente seu. Por outro lado, essa mesma liberdade pode deixar o jogo confuso em alguns momentos, e não é raro acabar andando em círculos até perceber o que deixou passar.

Mesmo assim, no geral Tormented Souls é um ótimo survival horror. Ele pega elementos clássicos do gênero e claramente se inspira em jogos que marcaram época, mas consegue trabalhar essas ideias de uma maneira própria, sem parecer apenas uma cópia. É uma homenagem muito bem feita aos survival horrors clássicos, ao mesmo tempo em que consegue ter sua própria identidade.

This is bottom of the barrel of survival horror, yes if you are above the age of 40 and enjoyed ps1 era horror games you will probably enjoy this, however there a reason this style of gameplay isn't really a thing anymore. As this fixed camera is disorientating combined with poor controls and zero depth perception, believe it or not players want to actually control the character they play in a video game. I usually finish most games I play, but this one has too many problems that it isn't worth my time anymore and ill give my two cents here.

Its story is baffling to me, as these kinds of games usually either give a vague abstract narrative that doesn't make sense at the start, or overloading with you so much information right away they you feel like you need to write things down. This game does neither, as it's a 30 second introduction of the character receiving a letter in the mail of a photo of two random children and you decide to go look for them in abandoned hospital. That's it, illogical, dumb, no explanation why this way or anything.

Its gameplay is as barebones as it can possible get, not good feeling controls disorientating camera angles and control change ups per camera change, despite a lock on for aiming your shots will still miss sometimes no matter how close a enemy is at you.

This game does have a map but it doesn't help much as there is zero information in the notes or anywhere of what you are actually supposed to be doing as you run around aimlessly pressing every button and running into every table to pick everything up. There is a reason walkthrough videos have hundreds of thousands of views, as nobody has any idea what is supposed to happen. Look I understand part of the immersion is to figure things out as if we are the character's shoes but when the player is lost and spending so much time running around not making any progress, its bad game design.

Overall its just boring the worst thing a video game can be, play any modern resident evil or remakes if you want to have your time respected

Gutes Game wenn man Oldschool RE mag.
Das größte Problem sind die Hinweise die es manchmal gar nicht gibt und du mit raten also try and error versuchen zum "richtigen" Ergebnis kommst.
-Punkt und Strich Rätsel musste ich googlen da es keine Hinweise dazu gab
-Fernseher das selbe bin den Text durchgegangen, keine Hinweise und wo war der Hinweis auf dem Bild im Tagebuch echt jetzt wofür dann einen Text reinklatschen wenn der nichts bringt.
-Letzte Benzin puzzle das selbe musste ich nachschauen und das ist Komplett try and error da gibt es nichts was dir Hinweise gibt und wenn einer kommt und meint ja der Hinweis ist der Ton (zischen) wenn du alles richtig hast da dreh ich am Rad.
Abgesehen von diesen dreien kommt man bei dem Rest mit nachdenken drauf.
Ansonsten ein solides Spiel für ein Indie Hersteller mit solala Story aber die Spiele in dem Genre haben selten mit damit gepunktet.

옛날 바이오하자드와 사일런트힐이 합쳐진 듯한 작품
옛날 방식의 시점을 사용해 조작이 많이 힘들긴 하다
그래도 폐쇄적인 병원 배경을 잘 구현하여 공포감을 매우 잘 살렸다
사운드도 공포 분위기에 매우 잘맞았다

A mix of old school Resident Evil and Silent Hill! This is a solid game worth a play, but a few things to take into account:
1. Combat can be a little rough. Your character is slow to dodge and is still when reloading.
2. Puzzles can be a bit difficult. You may want to have a spoiler-free walkthrough on hand.
3. There is only a single difficulty. As someone not particularly good at these types of games I definitely got frustrated in a few areas due to extremely limited health and restricted saves.

But overall I liked it. Character designs were good, story was intriguing, and it wasn't SO frustrating I wanted to give up. I definitely would have done better had I realized earlier you could equip the crowbar for melee attacks, but oh well.

i really good survival horror, has allot of insipiration from OG resident evil and some silent hill sprinkeled in.
combat is ok, but exploration and mostly puzzles are the highlight of this game. this one expects you to think, some of the harder and more clever puzzles i have seen in this genre and in game in general, i enjoyed them very much, easy recomendation from me.

Gioco che non è perfetto, specie il doppiaggio e alcuni dialoghi, ma eccelle per quello che deve essere, per l'appunto, un survival horror.

I suoi punti di forza sono:
1) Atmosfera e ambientazioni sono perfetti. Le OST pure sono fatte molto bene. La tensione e l'ansia vi accompagneranno per tutto il gioco.
2) Storia coinvolgente, più di quel che pensassi all'inizio.
3) Enigmi, alcuni vi faranno veramente dannare.
4) Nemici e boss a mio avviso sono fatti bene.
5) Risorse non a gratis, (grazie a dio aggiungerei, dato che è un gioco survival), ma neanche cosi limitate, un paio d'errori il gioco ve li perdona, ma se sparate all'impazzata come se foste in uno sparatutto, allora verrete puniti.

I suoi punti deboli:
1) Doppiaggio e dialoghi. Alcune conversazioni sono un po' arretrate, stile anni 90 per intenderci, magari è fatto di proposito. Il doppiaggio, almeno per me, è abbastanza mediocre, specie quello della nostra protagonista Caroline che nei momenti più cruciali, manca di enfasi.
2) Il sistema di mira è abbastanza discreto, nulla di drammatico, ma va migliorato.
3) I sottotitoli, almeno per quanto riguarda la lingua italiana, andrebbero migliorati perché alcune parole non rispecchiano ciò che viene detto nel parlato.

In conclusione: come ho detto prima, questo gioco ha dei difetti, tuttavia eccelle nei punti principali del suo genere, ossia, trasmettere paura e ansia al giocatore, accompagnati da un comparto sonoro niente male, e da una storia che vi farà venire voglia di continuare a giocarci, senza contare i mal di testa che vi faranno venire gli enigmi. Lo consiglio vivamente a chi è amante del genere, specie se sono fan dei vecchi Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Alone in the Dark ed ecc. ma anche a chi non ha mai provato questo tipo di titoli, Vale veramente la pena di essere giocato :)

Tormented Souls nails the atmosphere, story, and tense survival horror vibes—this game had me genuinely on edge and fully immersed in its eerie world. The environments are beautifully crafted, and every encounter feels meaningful, capturing that classic horror feel perfectly.

That said, the game isn’t without its challenges in ways that can be frustrating. Some puzzles don’t always make sense, leaving you guessing more than thinking, and the extreme scarcity of ammunition, health, and save cassettes makes survival even tougher. These design choices can feel punishing at times, but they also heighten the tension and make every small victory feel earned.

- wenig Speichermöglichkeiten macht nach Tod lange Wege nötig

- Es gibt fast keine Handlungshinweise. Teilweise läuft man ewig rum und weiß nicht wohin

It's playable, and if you starved for the genre, probably good.

But it is also deeply flawed. The narrative is nonsense and the protagonist completely unbelievable and unrelatable. The intro explains how you get a picture, only to drop everything and travel to a random place. Get knocked out and within the first 3 minutes of play discover that your eye has been removed.

That was the sane part of the narrative. It gets stupid from there on.

Combat exists but is reduced to "Oh a battle sound! so better navigate through 1990 reject inventory during which the game pauses and get a gun. pull the trigger a few times. Music ends" No dynamic and plenty of ammo and health pack to facetank everything.

Game has horrible controls. When using the controller, character movement is good but everything else sucks. When using mouse and keyboard, everything is fine but character movement sucks. So i ended up switching between the two, which is annoying. Char movement is also only relative, no option to set it to absolute, which would make stuff so much easier.

Combat is hard, partially due to the controls. The story, texts and dialog are cliche. Tbh the only thing the game has going for it are the graphics. Since there is combat, the atmosphere doesn't feel like horror. You get a weapon and find ammo - so you know there will be more enemies and killing them is part of the game. Kinda sucks the fun out of horror. And savepoints are rare, so have fun replaying the same stuff over and over again. Not fun at all.

If you're really into the genre, then go for it but tbh, i was pretty disappointed.

Bromas aparte, es un gran juego, realmente la actuacionde voz es horrible y creo que es su principal punto debil, pero se entiende dado que estamos hablando de un Indie y al probablemente limitado presupuesto que tuvieron para desarrollar esta obra. Además, comparado a los RE y Silent hill originales es casi que una referencia, juegos hacia los cuales, Tormented souls es una carta de amor.
La cámara fija a mi me encanta de forma no irónica y el gameplay e historia son los suficientemente sólidos como para mantenerte enganchado. Algunos puzzles son innecesariamente complejos mientras que otros rondan lo soso, pero, tambien ahí reside parte de su encanto. Una atmosfera muy bien lograda, unos efectos de sonido que te trasladaran a los años 2000 y aunque en estética y arte bebe muchisimo de los ya mencionados Resident evil y Silent hill, termina teniendo su propia identidad una vez logras distinguir qué es lo que lo hace especial.

En resumen, un gran juego que no debe faltar en la biblioteca cualquier jugador amante de los survival horror.

Tormented Souls no es un juego para todo el mundo. Es un homenaje muy fiel al survival horror clásico, con todo lo bueno y todo lo malo que eso implica. La ambientación es fantástica y los puzzles son su mayor acierto, pero el sistema de cámaras y el combate pueden resultar frustrantes para quien no tenga nostalgia por aquella época.

Ниже содержатся СПОЙЛЕРЫ!!!

Больше всего игру хочу похвалить именно за хоррор составляющую.

В игре есть моменты, когда персонажу нужно ходить по темным коридорам/комнатам, и в этих моментах ты должен освящать себе путь с помощью зажигалки (находясь в полной темноте без света персонаж через 5-6 секунд умирает). Но персонаж не может держать в руках одновременно и зажигалку, и оружие, т.е. персонаж в эти моменты полностью беззащитен. И когда в этих комнатах ты слышишь звуки шаркающихся монстров, местоположение которых ты еще и не можешь сразу увидеть из-за фиксированной камеры, то в эти моменты ты себя чувствуешь прям максимально неуютно.

Позже во второй половине игры персонажу дают фонарик, который позволяет полностью отказаться от использования зажигалки. Тебе в этот момент кажется, что всё, больше ты ничего в этой игре не боишься, что теперь ты всемогущ и непобедим, но твоя радость продлится недолго. Дольно скоро после получения фонарика ты вами начнет по особняку гонятся местный Немезис, неубиваемый призрак, который будет рандомно спавнится в любой комнате и сильно напрягать игрока (про косячность реализации призрака расскажу отдельно ниже). Таким образом игра старается до самого конца держать игрока в постоянном напряжении, давая ему понять, что он никогда не будет в безопасности, именно это, на мой взгляд, и делает хоррор хоррором

Также отмечу, что сам особняк и локации очень атмосферные, а монстры, пускай их разновидностей и не сильно много, достаточно жуткие

Без проблем, разумеется, тоже не обошлось.

Возвращаясь к призраку, его очень легко заабузить. Если в комнате заспавнился призрак, то будет играть особая музыка, из-за которой игрок точно знает, что сейчас в комнате призрак, и тебе достаточно просто сразу же выйти из комнаты и обратно зайти, и призрак пропадет. На мой взгляд, такого быть не должно, если уж вы добавляете в игру мистера Х, то у игрока не должно быть возможностей его просто скипнуть.

Есть несколько душных мест, связанных с бегатней туда-сюда. Например, есть дверь, которую ты должен открыть, вставив в нее дискету, при этом тебе нужно предварительно забить на этой дискете правильное ключ-слово, решив загадку. Проблема в том, что дверь находится в одной части особняка, а компьютер, на котором нужно забить ключ-слово, ровно в противоположной. И получается, что ты забиваешь ключ-слово, бежишь к двери, чтобы проверить правильность решения загадки, видишь, что ты вбил неверное слово, и ты вынужден бежать обратно. И так вот бегаешь туда-сюда, пока не решишь загадку. Таких моментов в игре не много, но те, что есть, очень душат

Могу отметить неудобную работу с инвентарем. В игре, как и в любом сюрвайвал-хорроре, всегда хочется сэкономить максимум патронов, поэтому когда ты отправляешь очередного монстра в нокдаун (состояние, когда он лежит на земле, но еще не умер), то ты, чтобы не тратить драгоценные патроны, переключаешься на монтировку, и идешь добивать монстра ею. И каждый раз, когда тебе нужно переключить оружие, ты должен открыть инвентарь и вручную свапнуть оружие. Не критичный, но все же немного душный элемент

Так же к проблемам инвентаря добавлю, что оружие можно мгновенно перезаряжать прям из него, просто комбинируя оружие с патронами, а т.к. во время открытия инвентаря игра ставится на паузу, то перезаряжать оружие таким образом намного безопаснее. Абуз, которого опять же, на мой взгляд, быть не должно.

Итоги: несмотря на все шороховатости, определенно заслуживает внимания, если вы фанат классических резидентов и сурвайвал хорроров в целом

Spooky. I had fun and was also scared a few times. I also enjoyed the puzzles.

Definitely a bit rough around the edges, but the olde timey games it's inspired by were too. It's also a bit puzzle dense, which I loved (I am a puzzle enjoyer) but could be divisive.

Overall, I loved it. Looking forward to the sequel :)

In the action that is in the game is more like small pallet cleansers made more annoying by the controls. In fact they could have simply reduced the ammo and reduce the subsequent enemy health to balance and make it less droning.

The inventory system is nicer/lenient than most survival horror. Alot of this game reminded me of Resident Evil 0, without the annoyances of Resident Evil 0. There's no difficulty level, so you're just playing through a story and trying not to horribly die. No auto saving and no obvious save milestones makes the game trickier for those who arent just skilled enough to breeze through it.

They did interesting ways to zone lock the map and have you keep moving relatively forward, with some paths that lead to dead ends or temporary dead ends. This also means alot of circling back but they did a 3/5 job of having the story fit well with it.

I give the overall story a 3.5/5, the premise is good, told an interesting story, story telling was a bit weak, gave alternate endings which is always nice. Dialogue was a bit novice. Telling a decent portion of the story through collected diary notes and etc can be divisive, but I dont hate that.

Overall they did a Resident Evil style game in a good attempt and deserve a 3.5/5. The graphics look pretty fair for early 2010 but this came out in 2021. But we need more studios attempting these games and they did a good job. They cant all be blockbuster budget spends. Skipping ahead, I did game trial of the sequel, and there are marked improvements. I dont expect them to be big budget level any time soon, but they hold their own as something to play between the big budget releases

On for some cons. I'm running a 2018 high-mid level gaming rig, and it grumbles at this game. Not to the point where i notice performance issues but it does push it. Which is surprising because the graphics arent to Resident Evil 3RE or Resident Evil 8 level.

Отличная игра в стиле классического резика, только без духоты и неочевидности того, что дальше делать. С фишками из сайлент-хилла, типа альтернативного мира и т.д.
Играется очень приятно. Музыка, физика, графика. Всё с этим хорошо.
Шарады вполне логичные и решаемые. Местами только нужно слегка напрячь извилины. Для меня самые сложные оказались музыкальная загадка и с телевизором. Сам я их так и не смог осилить.

Для тех, кто будет в первый раз играть:
1) Валите всех монстров, что встречаете. Бродить по особняку придётся прилично. Патронов должно хватить до конца игры. Добивать ломиком.
2) По началу плёнок для сейвов будет мало, но лично у меня, под конец игры, их накопилось аж 10 штук. Так что можно спокойно сохраняться в каждой сейв-комнате, которую встречаете (кроме самой первой).

被忽視的小眾神作，結合惡靈古堡與沉默之丘特色的恐怖遊戲，解謎成分大於戰鬥。

謎題大多頗有難度，具有挑戰性，甚至需要一些想像力才能解開。但是有些謎題中文翻譯過於糟糕，導致必須上網查詢答案。如果你遊玩途中因為一兩個謎題被難倒，請不要氣餒，這不是你智商不足。

除了有難度，有些解謎也不太友善，舊式電腦磁碟片的解謎對年輕人不友善，用電視開保險箱的解謎對這輩子沒用過保險箱的人不友善。

劇情並不複雜，甚至玩到一半就能猜出誰是幕後的壞蛋，時間悖論部分處理得不好，也為劇情留下伏筆，二代遊戲可能也是基於這個開展的吧。(二代也是極度好評的神作)

總之這是非常值得一玩的好遊戲，可惜玩的人非常少，巴哈的討論區連一頁都不滿，冷清得可憐。我有發文為解謎提供思考引導。

As a game it's actually pretty good. But the save system ruins it completely - you need to find a tape and walk back to a certain room to save. It doesn't work if you have a family to take care of and only small time slots where you can sit down and play. It's also pretty frustrating if you die after playing for almost an hour. That alone is so terribly bad that it ruins the whole experience. I cannot recommend it.

They definitely nailed the 90s/early 2000s fixed camera survival horror vibe...right down to frustrating amounts of dead air/playtime as you backtrack and re-backtrack and then backtrack again after that. Nostalgia got me through about four hours but there comes a point when the clues are so obtuse that it's just not fun anymore, and that's what happened for me with this game. Credit where credit's due, the nailed the entire vibe of gaming back in ye olden days...right down to giving up because you're bored.
