个人感觉像是学习历史的游戏，主要把希特勒上台前到二战结束的这段历史的一些大事件列出来再加上一些场景对话来深化对那个时代的了解。游戏性其实很一般，就是安排一些人发展支持者，保住士气，顺便做一些任务。从头到尾基本上都是这一种玩法，虽然给了你一些支线，但往往风险大，很难做，而且你做了这些可能士气和支持者就保不住了，那游戏直接就结束了。所以很多支线事实上也是聊胜于无。场景对话还不错，但总感觉差了一点什么。不过确实科普了很多知识，作为历史爱好者非常喜欢这种寓教于乐的游戏。这游戏也经常打折，史低也就10几块4小时流程倒也还不错，适合想了解那段历史的人入手。

I didn't know what to expect. I believe that the only war-themed game I played before this was "This War Of Mine", and while both games are good, this one also serves as a grim history lesson. Educational, realistic, and as a non-native living in Europe who only learned the surface level of WW2, this broadened that knowledge to a horrifying extent. Thank you to the developpers. This subject is especially poignant in the current global political climate.

Also, ich würde dieses Spiel wirklich gerne empfehlen, jedoch habe ich gerade das vierte mal verloren weil meine Moral zu niedrig war und das ist ehrlichgesagt äußerst frustrierend.
Das Konzept des Spiels ist ja ganz gut, aber gameplaytechnisch ziemlich unfair.

Außerdem sind die Events oft nicht durchdacht, zuerst wurde ich von meinem Vorgesetzten gefeuert, nur um einige Jahre später dort wieder angestellt zu sein und eine Gehaltskürzung hinnehmen musste.

Werd mir den Rest im Internet ansehen, das Spiel ist einfach zu frustrierend. Schade!

Игра состоит из двух элементов: текстовые квесты и менеджмент на карте.
Первые, сюжетные, ничего. Небольшие зарисовки где выбираем что сделать или сказать. Ощущение что это хоть как-то на что-то влияет не сложилось, но в целом норм.
Вторая - невыносимая унылая тягомотина, в которой, в основном, занимаемся одним из двух. Либо идем к народу зазывая в свои ряды, либо собираем с народа деньги на благое дело. Из немалого количества заданий на которые можно пойти эти составляют процентов 80. Текст каждый раз, что описывающий суть задачи, что говорящий об итогах - одинаковый.
Среди прочих заданий покупка бумаги и красок, чтоб оставлять послания. Слежка за кем-то или кража чего-то. Понимание что даст положительный исход каждого - нет. Описывается все, так же, одинаково.
По сути наш гордый отряд занимается полной фигней, тогда как в текстовых квестах речь идет о больших делах, типа выкрасть сведения высокопоставленных офицеров и передать их союзникам. Читаем, вдохновляемся, и идем побираться.
Как и в большинстве игр подобного толка все персонажи совершенно никакие и не то что к ним не привязываешься, а даже имена не запоминаешь.
Есть вещи которые вероятно отсутствуют на высокой сложности, которую я не выбрал по причине отсутствия в ней сохранений (так написано), но на простой они убивают не именно что сложность, а драму, превращая происходящее в фарс. Например если кого-то из вашей команды посадили, отправив освободить его кого угодно - сделаете это со 100% вероятностью. Или вот: гг у меня сажали и даже отвозили в лагерь несколько раз. Каждый раз обвиняли в антигосударственной деятельности, сутками избивали и вскоре отпускали. После чего он спокойно возвращался на базу и никто за ним конечно же никакое наблюдение не ставил.
Под конец меня все это настолько утомило что я вообще перестал браться за задания тупо нажимая перемотку. Единственное, что опять таки превращает происходящее в фарс - изредка ходил пособирать деньжат, чтоб всем пойти на тусовку, восстанавливающую боевой дух.
При всем этом концовку получил нормальную: война кончилась, сидим в кафешке в 46 году, вспоминаем былые деньки.
Категорически не рекомендую.

Ich finde das Spiel sehr stark es baut eine ziemlich düstere Spannung auf, und das mitten in meiner Heimatstadt Berlin während der nationalistischen Zeit. Dieses Spiel sollten moderne Schulen im Informatikunterricht oder einem ähnlichen Fach unbedingt behandeln; solche Taten dürfen sich niemals wiederholen! Viele Dinge, die im Spiel gezeigt werden und in Berlin passiert sind, wusste ich vorher gar nicht. Ich finde es erschreckend, was damals in Berlin und in ganz Deutschland geschehen ist.
Kuss geht raus an die Demokratie!

Eu gosto tanto desse jogo que não consigo dizer que não o recomendaria para outras pessoas. MAS, minha vontade é de fazer isso, o jogo é tão historicamente correto que você tem a sensação de que a pequena resistência que você lidera realmente não tem importância em fazer algum dano ao regime nazista. Você consegue dinheiro, compra livros ilegais, faz panfletos, pinta muros, rouba uniformes nazistas e dinamite, e quando seu inventário está cheio para fazer uma missão grande o capítulo muda e você perde todos seus itens. Continuo o jogo porque Through The Darkest of Times é simplesmente viciante, mas sempre fico com um gosto de decepção na boca quando isso acontece.

Игра невероятно атмосферная и проникновенная. Раскрывает много фактов и аспекты быта рядовых жителей Германии той страшной эпохи. [spoiler] К сожалению, много параллелей с сегодняшним днём [/spoiler]. Расстраивает отсутствие возможности создать своего персонажа, однако, различные развилки в сюжете в зависимости от предыстории главного героя очень радуют. Возможно, ради этого и отказались от данной тематики.
Рекомендую: сторонникам мира, интересующимся историей и эстетикой 30-40 ых годов ХХ столетия

It's hard to explain how this game is actually comforting to me. Like This War of Mine, it asks you to make trade-offs constantly: what you need vs what you want vs risk. And just like that game, there never seem to be quite enough of anything to get things done. But while This War of Mine - which is great, truly - made me feel the despair of that situation, this game somehow makes me hopeful? Maybe it's just the thought that people can and have survived times like these, that people have always organized against tyranny, that even if you can't do it all you can do *something.*

I think also though, it is a game designed to make you feel hope. For me, at least, it succeeds.

＜昔買ってレビューを書いていなかった作品。通常のレビューより簡素＞

第二次世界大戦のドイツを舞台とした市民シミュレーターのようなもの。

当時の空気感が厳密に再現されているかどうかは残念ながら、当時のドイツで生活していたわけではないので「ちゃんと再現されている」とは断言できかねるが、「戦時下の重圧感」というものはゲームとして「不自由さ」「行動のリスク」などで味わえるようになっている。

一方で没入感は翻訳の違和感や文字化けが多少あるせいでやや弱いのが残念と言えば残念。

また純粋なゲームとしても1時間程度でゲーム性の単調さに気づけてしまうため「当時の雰囲気をなんとなく知りながら適当にゲームを遊んで満足したい」という場合はありかもしれないが、そうでない場合は人を選ぶのは間違いないため、気を付けてほしい。

戦時下の市民の様子をゲームとして遊ぶことができるのでいい作品であることは否定しないが、過剰な期待は禁物である。

Я не буду углубляться в исторический контекст этой игры, ибо не стоит серьезно рассматривать все эти "основано на реальных событиях" профанации, когда авторы вместо сухих дат и устоявшихся терминов пытаются продвинуть свое субъективное и обычно однобокое мнение в духе хороший/плохой о реальных личностях и событиях как аксиому, играя на эмоциях (почему-то вспомнился русскоязычный раздел так называемой "Википедии"... Наверное, просто совпадение). Да и, собственно, сам я тоже совсем не историк, а это - просто отзыв к видеоигре.
Возвращаемся обратно к содержанию игры и причине отрицательной оценки: геймплей сломан. Всё.
Т.е. как это должно было выглядеть: мы набираем членов своей ячейки сопротивления из числа недовольных официальной властью НСДАП и тайно ведём свою подрывную деятельность против государства, агитируя население, добывая и распространяя секретную информацию и даже проводя диверсии с риском для жизни. Так же главный герой может стать случайным участником каких-то событий и от его выбора в диалогах должно что-то зависеть.
А в реальности геймплей выглядит так: вы периодически вешаете лапшу на уши рабочим, чтобы у вас оставалось хоть немного сторонников, собираете с них донаты (буквально) и развлекаетесь, поднимая моральный дух группы (тоже буквально). И это - самый оптимальный путь спокойно пройти игру, не ввязываться в авантюры, не рисковать ничем, просто создавать имитацию "борьбы" с [strike]лукаш[/strike]... пардон, нацизмом. Все требующие выбора события каждый раз одни и те же и в одном порядке, почти во всех ветках диалогов от вашего выбора не зависит ровным счетом ни-че-го, авторы даже не утруждались сделать разные варианты реакции собеседника на наши реплики. Итого: задумка неплохая, реализация - так себе :)

The storyline is a very well-researched history lesson in the rise of fascism (Nazism) in post WW1 Germany. The game itself is immersive and gripping but feels like it suffers from balance issues and possibly some bugs. It doesn't seem like any action you take in the game substantively changes the narrative (because it really is a history lesson)... any victory scored is ultimately a minor one. I would almost call it more of an interactive linear story.

The game has good bones and I hope they keep tweaking it. I'll recommend it in it's current state based on its strengths, but it leaves me wishing for a bit more.

An addictive management/strategy game that falls short of delivering on what you hope it will.

All my notes on the game :

-Seemingly useless items? '' this item will make you happy '' or something - what do they do?
It's good that the game doesn't tell you everything, but the game should also tell you more, especially when you spend a lot of money on a mission. Like, I want to know if that'll remove heat from my characters and how much of it. I also want to know what the items do.
If a playthrough took about 100 minutes of commitment, I'd take more risks. But a playthrough is at least 4h and my 1st playthrough was about 9h.

Too much heat too easily. Hiding sometimes removes 2, sometimes 1? Annoying. Not even sure how it works once again.

Secretive seems to help? but it's not enough and you don't get to level up your characters enough.

Too many missions with high risk and some simple missions should have literally no risks.
Game would be more motivating if there were bigger objectives (and more realistic ones? not sure, high risk is good for hard missions). Not sure I wanna try a risky mission because, otherwise, I lose?

High risk would be fine if the reward is worth it. It's often not the case in that game.

Some of the objectives require too many items or items that are too hard to acquire?

Sometimes, you don't even know if the item in question will be acquirable in time (limited amount of weeks) because there's currently no mission on the map with the item. Usually, you make new missions appear by first doing a mission. Often, the item required is Intel.

Long loading times and laggy for my 2014 laptop (for a game with such simple graphics). If you ask me, this game should be able to run on a 2004 PC.

When quitting, I lose the progress for the day (I had kicked out a dude, then quit the game). Came back later, he's there because the random event of the day - before you send your people on missions - was different this time and it hadn't saved that part). Yeah that's a poor design choice. Would be easy to make saving system better.

Chapter 3 : couldn't accomplish almost anything big except hide some people. Everything is too risky and your characters get heat on them too easily. Since things are too out of my control, I don't think I will have the patience go for a 2nd playthrough.

I feel like I don't get to play the game because of the excessive risk. The game is showing me what might be possible, but it's often too risky for what you get in return and therefore not worth it. That aspect of the game really affects my enjoyment, especially in the 2nd half of the game. Examples : needing 3 army uniforms and a truck just for 1 mission. That's basically spending the whole chapter 3 doing all the missions to get those 4 items. It's probably poor design, or I'm bad at the game because it seemed almost impossible. Maybe you're supposed to take risks and just accept going to jail, but Morale goes down so quickly in Chapter 3 that I doubt it.

Chapter 4 : I went much faster in chapter 4 as I felt my decisions were kind of pointless. Once again, most missions are too risky or require too many items or items that are too hard to obtain. And when you actually manage to complete risky mission, it doesn't really matter because it either only helps you '' survive '' the chapter or doesn't reward you enough either narratively or with enough items for you to attempt a related mission.

I still enjoyed the game for the most part, but I am also disappointed with the last third of the game.

Хорошее введение в теорию ненасильственного сопротивления, идеально для учебного процесса на допризывной подготовке: дети учатся возможностям реакции на репрессивную политику и способам выживания в периоды нестабильности на мультяшных примерах. Из того, что не понравилось, так это сцены насилия и некоторые моменты, которые могут быть неприятны и непонятны детям, например о геях в команде. Хорошо было бы установить детский режим без таких сцен, что в принципе возможно, раз авторы установили опциональной даже свастику. Для взрослых же очень актуальная для исторических реалий, в которых мы оказались после 2020 года: чего стоит только теракт в Крокусе и последовавшие за ним репрессии относительно лиц восточной национальности. Тот же поджог Рейхстага с последовавшей политической зачисткой... Впрочем каждый может видеть в этой игре своё, необходимое ему в конкретный исторический момент. Я бы так и назвал эту игру - симулятор истории. Хотелось бы всё таки сделать так, чтобы действия игрока могли повернуть историю Германии.

Its an interesting game. I would have recommended it but I appeared to get a bug twice where it blocked me from progressing a number of missions where it showed me that I was missing apparently nothing (The missions were available earlier and nothing seemed to have changed). Which completely derailed two of my chapters (out of the 3 I played) as I was unable to get some required items. This lead me to completely lose interest since I couldn't even play the game. I was enjoying it up to that point though.

虽然但是但凡你出个自定义主角数据或者出身的选项都能让游戏体验提升不少。

1933年的时候，我和我的两个朋友聚集在一起讨论选举，我们聚在一起反对nazi的当选，他们的纲领让我们反感，我们都认为这是德国最黑暗的一天。后来我们都发现我们错了，这只是黑暗的开始。
那年2月27日。我一个人在酒吧里喝闷酒，想着接下来我们该怎么赶这个暴君下台。而就在这时，意外发生了，就在窗外，德国mz的象征，国会大厦在熊熊烈火中被热浪扭曲。周边人群议论纷纷，我只是听到了什么“矮子”“布尔什维克”“栽赃”“开战”一类的词，我头脑一片混乱，匆忙回到了公寓，思考者发生了什么。没多久，我的房门被敲响——是警察。他们草率的了我的名字和是不是kpd的成员，便二话不说拷走了我。我遭受了非人的拷问，我再不想回忆那天我经历了什么。在我朋友们的周转下，我才得以被保出那个地狱。从此，我便不在想着让这个留着滑稽胡子的疯子下台，而是想着让他血债血偿。

我也忘了那是哪一天，那是一次轰炸，我也不知道是第几次了，反正那时的我也习惯了轰炸。我听到了警报声，一骨碌从床上翻下去，一路狂奔到了防空洞口，在洗头佬青年团那群可怜孩子的指挥下进入了防空洞。轰炸开始了，但防空洞里同样闹腾，两名夫人争吵了起来，因为其中一位嘲讽那名老一点的夫人的丈夫是胆小鬼，但这位老先生只是在上一次战争中留下了心理创伤，害怕黑暗。在大家的制止下，争吵停止了。但似乎有些什么并不想让我们安静——防空洞外传来了急促的敲门声。两名青年团的年轻人询问了来者，外面的正是古兹曼一家。在这种情况下呆在外面无疑是危险的，我让两个年轻人开门，但那俩个被洗头佬洗脑的可怜孩子拒绝开门，还说什么防空洞是为“优等人”准备。我觉得我得做点什么，我觉得我要救他们。我拾起地上的铁罐头，威胁两个年轻人让他们开门，那名老一些的妇人也支持我的行为。那位嘲讽别人是胆小鬼的那名夫人，已经是其中一位青年团成员的母亲，她尖叫着说要举报我们，让我们付出代价。“你可以试试！”我到现在没想出来我到底是怎么喊出这话的。他们仿佛也被我吓到了一样，打开了防空洞，让古兹曼一家进来躲避轰炸。轰炸结束后，也许是想保住自己的最后一丝“体面”，她“宽宏大量”的“赦免”了我们，说看在这么多年邻居的面子上，她不会去举报我们，要我们好自为之。呵，胆小鬼。
又过了一段时间，我又见着了这个女人。她眉飞色舞的走到了我的面前，炫耀般的向我分享新消息——古兹曼一家要被迁往东线的“新家”。我再不想理她，我来到了大街上，寻找古兹曼一家子的身影。在人海中我们看到了彼此，古兹曼先生只是抱怨了两句，在我问及有什么需要帮助的，他还反过来安慰我说古兹曼家没有什么不能战胜的。这是我最后一次见到他们。
1945年，战争已经到了尾声。nazi已经变成了一群疯子，或者说他们终于展现了本性。他们不断的怂恿人们走上战场，哪怕只是一个还在读书的孩子。我还记着那一天，那是战争的最后一天。我和抵抗运动的同志们清理街区残余冲锋队时，我见着对面街区有一幢房屋挂起了白床单，但很快，人民冲锋队的疯子们就开车飙了过去，我赶忙带着人跑了过去，当我们到时，只是经过了短暂的对战，冲锋队的疯子便离开了这里，我们仅仅找到了一个蹲在角落哭泣的小男孩。“我们输了吗”他哭着问我。“不，是纳粹输了。”我这么安慰他。
过了很久，我们和我的同志们再次聚到了一起。和以前不同，我们终于可以聚在阳光下了。在聚会的最后，我的朋友问我“你觉得我们尽全力了吗”
“也许吧，但是我们没有沉默”
如果我们尽力了呢？如果当年我们不是只是单纯的反对，而是进行更激进的抗争，还会有后面那么多事情吗？我不知道。
“你觉得人类会吸取教训吗？”
“我不知道。但是如果人类不吸取这个教训，那将是世界末日”

Through the Darkest of Times is a deeply thoughtful, well-constructed political strategy sim. The developers Paintbucket Games treat the uniquely horrific reality of life under the Nazi regime with all the seriousness and gravity that the setting demands. The narrative direction, art, and sound design ground you in this depressing place while the toe-tapping swing music (which feels asynchronous at first) is a gentle reminder that life goes on in the face of relentless terror (or at least keeps you from forgetting that you're playing a game, after all - so have some fun!). The project is far from perfect - the written text comes across as a bit shallow and the English is rife with spelling, syntax, and grammar errors, suggesting a poor translation job.

Gameplay isn't necessarily gripping, either. The mechanics of managing your characters and assigning them to actions each turn gets repetitive. The choices don't seem to matter a whole lot, and oftentimes I selected a dialogue option that clearly gave me the same result as choosing the other option would have. What is fun, though, is recruiting new resistance members. Each has a point value assigned to a set of skills and attributes that make them more or less well-suited to each task. You might have a deeply empathetic teacher who also happens to be a devout Catholic. Another might be a committed communist electrician with a violent past who harbors significant hidden trauma. This mechanic isn't revolutionary, but it does create some of the more interesting choices in how you use your characters and how poorly placed actions can backfire. It also helps create a sense of individuality to your resistance members - which means it'll sting a little if and when you lose them to arrest, or death, or betrayal.

Gameplay aside, Through the Darkest of Times is a work of art. Apart from its historical setting, the game is inextricably tied to the here and now, the context in which it was developed and released - the time, the place, the cultural and sociopolitical moment. What makes this game most worth playing in 2025 is what it has to say about authoritarianism, ethnocentrism, fascism...as well as complicity, complacence, and resistance in the face of these threats. It does not shy away from its obvious relevance in the current political environment. The real shining moments emerge where the game drops your character into major historical moments and forces you to make decisions which echo the very real moral questions we are facing in our world today.

Through the Darkest of Times is courageous and honest and true: as a standalone piece and even more so as a living allegory - a mirror into which we might gaze and see ourselves.

概念不錯，可是每個章節都有時限（大概20回合），人數有限，隨便玩不看攻略（雖然好像也沒人做攻略）的話會錯過一堆事件跟成就解不到，因為章節一結束，你上一個章節囤積的資源跟解到一半的點通通沒用了，整張圖跟道具都換成下一個章節的起始狀態

所以……

如果是有「完整體驗」、「解完全部內容」這種遊戲習慣的玩家，除非有找到很完整的流程攻略，或者你能忍受在那邊研究老半天、RNG壞運時讀檔重來，不然我不推薦玩

如果只想體驗一下納粹德國氣氛，遊戲方面隨便玩玩，那可以嘗試看看。這遊戲你如果不追求解特定任務目標、救人等等，基本上不會 game over，可以一直快進回合看系統安排好的歷史事件就好。

Every American needs to play this game RIGHT NOW. It's a fantastic history lesson in the rise of fascism, and it's a history lesson that every single American needs to relearn. It's actually heartbreaking, even though it's only text. Seeing the historical "stories" play out is actually horrifying.

Gameplay itself is a resource management game, and it works. Works pretty well, even if a bit simplistic. It's just a vehicle to the story, and the story is very well written. I know I haven't played much of it right now, but it's hard to play it and literally see the same things play out in current day America.

Political activism scam: the game.

The gameplay isn't consistant with my impression of the theme of the game (my impression was that this was a game about strategically sabotaging a political movement).

While the aesthetics (music, animations, etc.) are nailed down and the story is perfectly fine, my main problem with this strategy game is that it can hardly be considered a strategy game or even a game at all with how restrictive and punishing it is.

The gameplay loop consists of a constant drain of morale (morale being your "health bar") with each passing turn (aka "week"). How it's supposed to work is that the completion of small tasks leads to increased morale, alongside better opportunities to take on greater actions, pushing the resistance to ever greater heights. How it actually works is that you operate as though you're a disgruntled Reddit mod, who wants the world to know his political views without actually doing anything about it.

In this game, every action you can perform (i.e. make new friends, collect donations, speak with priest) runs an rng check that could punish you with increased suspicion (suspicion leading to arrest/injury). Counterintuitively, doing nothing will also punish you, as your morale is draining each turn. The least punishing strategy seems to be when you treat this like it's any other bogus activist movement, where you express your disapproval of a political idea, beg for donations that you promise will fix the issue, do absolutely nothing to actually fix the issue, and then pat yourself on the back when you get paid while the exact opposite result you promised to deliver happens entirely unphased by your overall input.

I guess I can give this game credit for its realism in that regard.

Final note: just in case it needs to be said: I'm not calling the game itself a scam and do not consider it to be a scam.

Edit: I changed my review to positive because I beat the game and saw content I hadn't seen before. Nazism is a horrifying ideology and I think the world needs to see this now more than ever. It is eerie how many parallels the modern world has made to nazi germany. It is honestly frightening how this very topic is treated and labeled as an opinion despite the precedent facts we saw and people suffered horribly through.

This is a good short game, but get it on sale. I also cannot recommend it if you are a completionist or someone who wants to have a completely "successful" run because unless you play on story mode (which has saves), you are extremely unlikely to succeed in each chapter. Most of my hours is from trying to do it in what is essentially ironman mode but the rng in this game is kinda lousy in that too much of it relies on RNG (how the RNG works isn't entirely explained, you can go on low-risk missions and easily get an event where you risk failure to avoid being seen, or you just accept it and have to spend an extreme amount of money to hide). It is honestly awful to play in resistance mode unless you alt+f4 when there is a bs moment when suddenly people get suspicious of you doing literally anything, such as literally just buying *paper*

Outside of this, I do genuinely think it is a good game. It does a good job of showing the mentality of people under a quite frightening time in human history when a charismatic leader with horrifying ideas came into power and probably was one of the greatest evils we have seen in human history.

这是选择导向不强的经营策略游戏。可选性别好评。

完成大事件需要像扫雷一样，扫出一片区域才能一步步像合成大西瓜一样收集全物品，这点观感不好。

对于不了解二战时期德国发展情况的可以尝试，我应该是没打到最终结局，就强行be了。对于历史上有固定时间线的走向，能够改编成目前这个样子属实不易。做一点点很小的事情，比如藏藏平民、制作宣传册，对于游戏这个载体来说，又显得没劲。

以下剧透，谨慎观看。

到大结局的时候发现自己的组织只活到了黎明前的黑暗，也不知道自己在地铁站救下的人和过去拍的照片在后续有没有什么作用，起码中途be结局看不出来有什么作用。明明已经成立了党派，怎么最后还说我是小组织。

每一章的过渡都比较生硬和割裂。搞不懂为什么要断在那个时候。

I played this before on mobile, but let me just say, this game is absolutely fantastic in its storytelling and presentation. The art style and graphics are something I admire, the gameplay aspects, though it can be repetitive, is not the main focus and message of the game. Through the Darkness of Times is a magnificent experience from start to end about the democratic backsliding of a country and its people, becoming fascist and authoritarian and the struggle of ordinary folks living throughout the oppressive regime. This game is a must have, a must read for history enthusiasts, specifically for the context behind the Second World War, and also politically relevant in the 2020s. Brilliant game.

The storytelling of Through The Darkest of Times is it's strongest asset. It makes the war feel fresh and real and dangerous in a way history books and TV shows never have for me, and it wraps this in an engaging resource management framework. Perhaps most importantly, in a game where we can't change the outcome of the story or the major events that unfold, it asks us "what is the reason for playing if we can't ever 'win'?"; and it gives us an answer in the stories of those who fought for what they believed in during the war.
Although the strategic gameplay lacks enough depth to stay fresh for the duration of it's narrative, TTDoT still offers an engaging and emotional experience for those who play it.

Для тех, кому интересно, какая была предыстория второй мировой - крайне рекомендую. Отличная историческая игра. Спойлер: [spoiler]историю изменить тут невозможно. Не важно, что ты делаешь, нацисты всё равно удержатся во власти, проведут олимпиаду, начнут войну и проиграют в мае 1945-го [/spoiler].
Реиграбельность низкая. У разных персонажей будут немного разные кат-сцены, но ответы в диалогах почти никогда ничего ни на что не влияют, включая исход диалога.

Ещё в плане реиграбельности не могу не отметить пару забагованных накопительных достижений, которые никак не получаются и несколько забагованных мини-миссий в главах, что превразает получение некоторых незабагованных достижений в жесткое задрочество и часы перезагрузки игры чтобы нафармить нужные материалы.

Ну и фан факт. Т.к. игра современная, то как же тут без мультикулурализма. У меня почти в каждой игре в группе был гей илил лезбиянка. Но это ещё ок. Но вот то, что у меня два раза было одновременно двое чернокожих в группе (!) не может не напрягать. В Германии тогда действительно была пара тысяч африканцев, их истории известны. Немцев в тогдашнем союзе было много, т.е. если бы это немец говорил, было бы ещё понятно. Но тут африканец, у которого откуда-то должна была появиться родня в СССР тех лет. Это улыбнуло.

Сюжет хороший, поднимает важные и правильные темы. В целом кат-сцены погружают в атмосферу жизни в Германии 1930-1940-х годов, ну и показывает всю сущность и бесчеловечность того режима. Но в аспекте геймплея, средненько - по сути игра линейная и по ходу прохождения можно ничего не делать, кроме как поддерживать мораль группировки. По сути твои решения и действия ни на что глобально не влияют. Понятно конечно с чем это связано, потому что игра достаточно исторична ну и почти все уже знают концовку, но хотелось бы больше нелинейности. А так рекомендую на 1 вечер игра достаточна неплохая.

Amazing 6 hour or so game that really puts the rise of the Nazi party into perspective. Playing as a civilian resistance you try to build your network, fund yourself, and deal with deep emotional needs of your team. From 1931 to 1946 you deal with various historical events explaining what's happening in Berlin and try to make your way through the difficult process of your friends and neighbors joining the Nazis. Great reminder of history and how we can't forget what our ancestors fought against and fought for.

Algumas são de coleta de itens, outra reconhecer locais e outros de por planos em prática.
Achei bem difícil de avançar, meu máximo foi na fase 3; só com 2 sobrevivente e o resto preso.

Se você entende inglês e consegue deixar a barra de moral lá em cima, a coisa tende a andar para seu favor; eu já não tive tamanha paciência de tentar entender tudo.

Not much replayability. Can be completed in less than 5 hours, and anything new that can be achieved through a second playthrough is negligable.

Please get your historical facts straight. I know it's not a big issue. But the Anschluss happened two years before the annexation of the Sudentenland. In the game it is incinuated that they happened almost at the same time and the Sudentenland was annexed before the Anschluss. When you dealing with such a large part, and recent, part of modern history, That is just lazy.

Grafik, Soundtrack und viele Details sind liebevoll gestaltet. Das Gameplay ist leider manchmal ziemlich repetitiv. Es kommt aber echte Spannung auf und es gibt so viele verschiedene Möglichkeiten und Wege, dass der Replay-Faktor trotzdem sehr hoch ist. Ich kann es empfehlen

I can't recommend this game for its gameplay as it appears unbalanced to me due to the fact that my agents get heat on them too often > requiring they go into hiding (costing me money) > requiring me to replenish more funds to prepare for going into hiding the future > detracting from accomplishing my goals because I have to divert attention to donations tasks (and hiding tasks) which takes it away from pursuing criteria to accomplish the unique objectives during each chapter. There's no method available to rapidly pursue unique objectives because the prerequisite tasks and criteria will require you to rely on a jack of all trades team and the fact that everyone won't be available at a moment's notice means you have delays, and then the fact that everyone gets too much heat on them after riskier tasks means you have to go into hiding for a week causing even more delays. This game started to feel like a grind from the second chapter but since I got a feeling that there were only a couple more chapters after I held still held on instead of dropping the game.

I can only recommend this game for the story telling which puts you in the lens of Germans that lived in Berlin that opposed Nazis and what their experiences were like, which is never a perspective I had thought of until now.

The later stage is extremely boring, essentially a paintbrush game. After playing it, it's hard not to give a bad review for the rich destruction of Jews in the game. While other ethnic groups were suffering from the persecution of fascism, only you Jews were making the most noise. In contrast to the people of Palestine, they are not worse off than you Jews, not to mention the current tragic situation where the perpetrators are Jews! I spit on you!
One of the once-victimized nations has now become the representative of the new fascism! The Nazis of the 21st century have returned!

Not sure whether to recommend the game. The concept is great, and I like the design—an excellent attempt to weave history into its narrative. The differing profiles of the characters add a touch of that "puzzly" vibe to the game.

However, don't be misled: the gameplay can be extremely challenging. Tasks marked as "extremely difficult" are tough to succeed at, but they're also the main source for increasing morale. And there we are... morale drops quickly, and it’s incredibly hard to recover, creating a frustrating "circle of doom." (once you run out of morale, you lose the game)

While I truly enjoy the game’s atmosphere and ideas, the unforgiving mechanics make it hard to fully appreciate the experience without feeling overwhelmed or disappointed.

If you’re up for a tough challenge and appreciate historical storytelling, give it a try.
