Its a great good game, no matter its a inbleedgame whit payment in the higher end. But see how much cheap and free to play games there are there rearly are bad timewaste, I prefare these quality game and have many good hours hunting whit tracing shooting and enjoying the Landscapes. Before complain and shoot down thing for payment options, Consider what you get. And you can just be good enough as hunter, there are competitions whit price money :D
Fantastic made hunting areas, great made and animated animals of many kind. Scent dog and Retriver dog. Many different hunting options from stalcking elk so sneak turkeys. I recomend it highly - Worth every cent putted in the game .

Un chasseur solitaire, patient, habile pisteur et capable de traverser des forêts immenses ou le silence est aussi important que les bruits furtifs du gibier tant convoité... L'immersion est totale et le décor à couper le souffle ! En contre partie, j'ai du mal à comprendre la différence entre le free to play et la version full. Par exemple, si j'achète la version à 30euros, faut-il que j'achète encore l'équipement et les armes pour chasser tel ou tel gibiers dans les différentes zones de la carte ? Si c'est le cas, alors autant rester en free to play et acheter seulement l'équipement nécessaire ! D'autre part je n'ai pas noté de bug dans la version gratuite tandis que de nombreux joueurs semblent se plaindre de nombreux bugs dans la versions full. Si c'est possible, j'aimerai bien des explications...

Игра супер офигенская! Каждый найдет такой уголок природы, который ему обязательно, что то напомнит) Проникаешься процессом на полную! Донат мягкий. А теперь внимание, это очень важно!!!! Если у вас нет денег и вы не способны оплачивать лицензии и покупать оружие - НЕ НАДО ПИСАТЬ, ЧТО ИГРА ГА МНО!!!! Для тех кто задумался играть в нее или нет, есть лока с 3мя бесплатными животными (ну животных там не 3 вида а больше), которых на локе в избытке. Поиграв на ней, вы четко поймете механику охоты в данном проекте (почти всю механику)) и поймете играть в нее или нет. Так что советую прежде чем делать выводы, просидеть несколько часов в игре. Для тех кто слышал, что есть такое слово "охота" и решил пострелять зайти во все, что движется - в deer hunter!!! или еще куда подальше. Это симулятор, и не все знают, что в реальной охоте на зверя в день проходят по 20-30 км и бывает ПУСТО! Так, что зайти в игру и сразу увидеть оленя, не получится. Его надо услышать или увидеть где-то далеко внимательно осматривая местность или прислушиваясь к звукам природы, вытропить зверя и затем получить желанный трофей. Для любителей охоты на птицу ( не желающих наматывать по 20км)) есть все необходимое, засидки, гладкостволки, манки, собаки и т.д. В общем все, что можно было реализовать из реала - реализовано. Важно - в игре все покупается за реал, кроме расходников. НО, все что есть вам захочется купить) Дам совет по оружию и этого вам хватит на 1е время. Задонатить нужно 1000р. Потратить ее можно на годовую подписку на игру содержащую 7 различных видов оружия и многое другое, сразу начнете играть с комфортом. Ну или купить 3 месяца подписки а остальное самому потратить в магазине на оружие и т.д. Подписка - это лицензия на все виды животных. В игре не получиться стрелять по зверю или птице из одного и того же оружия, поэтому смотрите внимательно, что купить. Посмотрите гайды перед покупкой. Я рекомендую купить "Булл-пап винтовка калибра 7 мм Магнум" и "Помповый дробовик 12 калибра (черного цвета)" Оптику рекомендую поставить не с максимальным приближением, т.к. прицел плавает при прицеливании, чем выше навык владения оружием, тем спокойнее прицел. Из этого оружия вы будете стрелять все. Кстати создать собственную сетевую игру без подписки также не получится, но можно присоединиться к существующей. В общем играть в нее стоит, игра заслуживает наивысшей оценки!

Very good game, though if you play multiplayer it's easier to hunt then singleplayer which is a shame(.
Another minus is that most of the maps are made to kill animals for which u have to buy licences and new weapons like bow/crossbow.
The pluses are that it's an open world fps "shooter" as you can say and an interesting gameplay

Sem sombra de dúvidas, o melhor Free to play que já joguei, o único problema é que para poder caçar alguns animais precisa de licensa, e para te-la precisa comprar ela com dinheiro verdadeiro, isso é ruim porque o jogo pode ficar repetitivo com você caçando sempre os mesmo animais, mas esse jogo é incrível, quando você confirma seu email o jogo te dá 3 dias para jogar com a licensa (a licensa paga custa 19,99 reais, e ela dura 3 meses) além dela liberar outros animais você ganha roupas novas, armas, equipamentos, etc... pode ser muito repetitivo jogando sem licensa, o jogo é uma simulação, ou seja, ele simula a vida real de um caçador, por isso é bem difícil a caça. você não pode fazer barulho, nem ficar correndo perto dos animais se não eles fogem, o jogo também dá para jogar com os amigos, isso torna ele bem divertido. resumo: se você quiser ter uma gameplay mais divertida e elaborada, compre a licensa. mas apesar disso o jogo é free, então se você quiser apenas jogar tudo bem, mas ele pode se tornar muito repetitivo. inclusive eu já fiquei muito bravo, porque todo animal que eu demorava pra encontrar PRECISAVA DE LICENSA. mas é isso mesmo, o jogo é muito bom.

Cioe' la gente spende 25 € per shoppare un cakkio di baule su Clash royale .................. e si lamenta delle microtransazioni presenti su questo bel simulatore di caccia ?!? Se il prodotto fosse scarso potrebbero aver ragione ......... ma:

- Riproduzione grafica e sonora degli ambienti naturali di caccia e della fauna superlativa

- Le 38 specie animali presenti si comportano come in natura ..... si capisce che ci hanno studiato bene prima rendendo l'esperienza sicuramente + tosta ma estremamente realistica

- come nella realtà le anatre non si cacciano con la stessa arma dei bisonti.

Secondo voi 10 € ogni 3 mesi per tutte le licenze e 15€ per un attrezzatura che pur non essendo il massimo vi permette di andare avanti tranquillamente sono molte ? Considerando anke che potete aprire le partite e ospitare i Vs. amici in multyplayer ? ............... Ci rendiamo coto !

Personally I really enjoy this game, even though you need to pay for most of the stuff I don't mind it too much because I think it's worth it. this is a very difficult game to recommend to anyone, especially if they aren't inherently interested in hunting games, and it's all because of how aggressive it is at telling you it wants your money.

to actually play it and have the full experience you have to constantly pay it for features you would expect the free version to already have. it's ridiculous to see 32 species of animals and only be able to hunt 3 of them, and then find out that you have to pay real money for rifles, ammo, all the different kinds of permits...

i decided i had enough when i saw that even bait and calls cost real money. while the latter could be reused, the former is a consumable and it makes zero sense to make it unavailable to people that don't want to pay a monthly subscription for playing an essentially singleplayer videogame

this way of implementing microtransactions (can they even be called micro if you transact sums that rival some AAA titles' prices?) is outrageous and predatory. games need money to be made and maintained, yes, but, in my opinion, simply adding "shortcut" purchases and some "premium" vanity items could've easily funded it too.

it sucks because the base game is actually fun. the way the guns reload, the way you use the mating calls, that moment you catch movement in the brush...

all the while you're surrounded by a forest that, although rendered at a very low resolution, looks gorgeous. also, the map is enormous, though the slow walking speed might be the main culprit for making it feel so big.

the only reason why i could recommend this game is if you just want to try and see if you like hunting sims at all. since it's still technically free, all you will lose is your time (and based on the fact that you read some random guy's review of game called "theHunter", you clearly don't value it much).

if you do end up liking it - they have a one-time purchase sequel named "call of the wild", but honestly, with how aggressive its dlcs are (and how much stupider its ai felt like to me), I'm not sure I'd recommend it either.

Schon beim Auswählen eines Benutzernamens hängt man 20 Min., weil einem nicht mitgeteilt wird, dass der Name maximal 10 Zeichen lang sein darf!
Dann im Spiel wollte ich die Auflösung auf FULL HD erhöhen, klicke ausversehen auf Credits, weil es keine anderen Schaltflächen außer "Resume" und "Exit" gab, aber da kommste nicht mehr raus! Strg+Alt+Entf<Taskmanager<TheHunter-Task beenden<Steam öffnen<lokale Daten löschen!

je conseille ce jeux pour les amoureux de la nature apres ce n'est que un jeux en virtuel

donc chasser deviens bien etr puis rien ne vous oblige de les tuer dans le jeu et simplement les voir moi meme ne chasse pas ..

Bár volt vele egy két gondom.

1. Miért halok meg ha leugrok egy szikláról amikor a legtöbb esetben annál a sziklánál vagy 10x nagyobb helyekről ugrok le a játék során?

2. Miért laggolok ezerrel a legalacsonyabb grafikai beállításokon amikor ha max-ra rakom azokat semmi laggom nincs?

3. Miért kötelező a regisztráció? Ha az ember nem akarja megosztani, hogy mit ért el a játék során akkor miért erőszakolja rá a játék ezt a funkciót?

4. Miért pixeles minden nagyon messze? Tök jók ezek képek itt a steam-en róla de a játékban ha a távcsövedbe belenézel és úgy szemléled meg ezeket messze már teli vannak pixellel mert paint-ben rajzolt fákkal.

5. Tényleg olyan nehéz lett volna megoldani, hogy a játékot ne csak a weboldaláról lehessen megnyitni első alkalommal amikor be kell lépned a játékba?

6. Miért olyan csiga lassa a karakterünk futáskor mint amikor bárki más kúszva megy be az ágyába mert álmos?
De komolyan, olyan borszasztó lassan fut a karakterünk. Elsőnek azt hittem ez valami gyors séta, aztán írta a játék, hogy amúgy ez már a futás.

7. Játék időm: 0.7 óra, ebből 0.5 óra az, hogy regisztráltam. KB vagy 10 perc kellett ahhoz, hogy elküldje a rendszerük az automata megerősítő e-mailt. (Ez nem negatívom szimplán érdekesség.)

Ha valaki vadászni akar inkább vegye meg a Far Cry Primal-t, hiddjen nekem... Sokkal nagyobb élményben lesz gazdag.

Jeu gratuit mais qu'il faut payer pareil pour être membre de ce jeu. Les achats sont chers et je ne vois pas pourquoi ce jeu est gratuit alors qu'il faut payer pareil. J'appelle ça to free-to-pay.

J'ai joué quelque fois juste pour pouvoir observer la nature et les animaux qui nous entoure. C'est très beau et les graphismes sont très intéressants et réalistes. Malgré ça, pour tuer des animaux et acheter des armes, encore faut-il que nous payons pour avoir accès à tout.

Je déconseille ce jeu! Je jouerai quand j'aurai l'argent nécessaire pour le payer.

Also if you want to play with a friend you need a membership of 3,6, or 12 months. Each week however they have a couple of animals that you can shoot for free but it's very limited.

Expansive Worlds doesn't lie when they they claim to have the most realistic hunting game out there. The graphics, models, textures, rigs and animation, lighting and perticle effects are brilliant.

I absolutely loved this game during the 3 day (72 hour) trial-membership period and spent much of that time hunting whitetail and muley's. I will be paying for a membership next and the game is worth it beyond doubt. That said...

The developers of the theHunter have done something very different and I think that is why there are so many negative reviews. So instead of purchasing a whole game and just blazing through a story line to have it sit at the bottom of a pile of new games after a month or so, the dev's have made an online store / outfitters, (which is exactly what it is. welcome to cabela's.) where you can purchase just the gear that you want. there are no weapon unlocks; no clothing upgrades; no higher-powered uber ammunition that is going to kill 3 deer with 1 bullet. Instead, you open "Store" and buy what you want for gear, wether its a treestand, a bow, some duck decoys or a dog.

This was a very smart move by the dev's and I can appriciate the new approach. I would however like to see a better use for gm's (game money) so it may be used on a broader range of items. currently it is used to buy licenses and replenish consumables. The em's (electronic money, purchased with your dollars online) are for your weapons, clothing, and other equipment and pets.

I think it's this new style of purchasing stucture that players have a hard time with as many reviews just say "Let me buy the whole game". When in fact you can, just in small pieces at a time that would cost you a fortune.

Personally I think this is a 5 star game. I found no bugs. I do however wish there was a way to increase the detail distance beyond what seems to be about 250 yards or so, but its not game breaking and allows the game to run smoothly.

My advise:
Download it. Give it a shot. Spend some time in a few different areas. Focus on big game. Do "Missions" for whitetail and mule deer to get your gm's up. Find out which +2 species are open for hunting on facebook (Check to see your weapon can kill them legally) and do those missions too, the gm's earned will pay for a 1 day, 7 day or 28 day license on an animal of your choosing. (purchaseable in the store).

Az egész játék a vadászati licenszekről szól. Hosszú órákon keresztül tartó unalom míg találsz egy nyomra vezető jelet a radaron, hogy találj egy nyomorult fehérfarkú szarvast, mivel a többi állatot nem ölheted meg, csak ami ki van adva neked. Az erdő amibe mászkálsz olyan szinten zöld hogy a szarvast hiába hallod meg a szarvas hívó segítségével, úgy beleolvad a környezetedbe hogy még akkor se látod hol van mikor az orrod előtt van. Akkor veszed észre mikor már elzavartad de futtába szinte lehetetlen eltalálni. A radar többször összezavar miközbe egyetlen példányt próbálsz becserkészni, közbe a radar már mutatja a másikat sőt a harmadikat. Szarvas van a pályán mint a rohadás, de csak nagyon ritkán veszem észre időbe szabad szemmel hogy hol van és akkor még találd is el a fűbe feküdve.

Ennél messze jobb vadász szimulátor gyanánt a "The Long Dark" nevű játék, abba sokkal több játékélmény van mint ebbe a fosba. Kipróbálni jó volt olyan szempontból, hogy ingyenes a hozzáférése, de a mikrotranzakcióktól egyenesen hányingerem lett, s nem hittem el hogy egy ilyen játéknál képesek az emberek a markukat tartani még ilyenkor is.

Összesítve: Ha csak hosszú órákon keresztül tartó nyomkövetés után tudsz egy szarvast levadászni, úgy mint én, s nincs hozzá türelmed hogy 3-4 óránként összeszedj egy prédát akkor a játékot semmilyen szín alatt nem ajánlom senkinek.

Атмосфера игры в одно время - настараживает, и в тоже время - релаксирует. Пройдя обучение, и поиграв немного - я понял ! Это оно ! Механика игры - меня просто убивает, я ни разу не видел чтобы в Бесплатной игре была такая эпичная Механика, да и Графика - просто от Бога ! В игре "theHunter" я почувствовал себя настоящим охотником, всем советую ! Особенно любителям охоты !
Моя оценка : 9/10

Brilliant fun game to play. Very immersive. The game is F2P but ofcourse, with limitations. You can get around not paying a penny so long as you do the Missions but, this method will be very time consuming. I'm happy to support the devs on this game. They have provided an enjoyable game and deserve to be paid. It's a hard game and you can walk around without seeing a thing. Animals will scatter before you even get a glimps of them, they smell you coming from a mile away and tracking an animal for hours on end may sound tedious. But it makes for a very enjoyable experience.

It's not a game for everyone but I'd say atleast give the game a try.

Зашёл в игру с надеждой начать охоту, однако, сначала бежал минут 15, думая что иду. Бег вообще ужасен, кажется что ползёшь. Потом пытался найти хоть одного животного, так и не нашёл. В итоге застрял между камнями, а как прыгать так и не нашёл. В общем, лучше сходить покушать, чем начинать играть в данную игру. 0/10. Если после очередной загрузки не разберусь, как полноценно найти животного или же выбраться из непростого места, придётся попрощаться с The Hunter.

got this 3years ago spent £100 on weapon bundles and stuff, I liked it. just ashame on the free to play format would rather pay an upfront cost for a proper game then again it probably wouldn't have been as popular and stung me then. meh. I try to keep away from this format. just noticed they had a new paid game and wondered if the purchases i had from this would carry, nah. looking at reviews it's not even worth thinking about anyway.

Выслеживал я как то белохвостого оленя часа 2 где-то, пока бегал по его следам пересекся с 6 чернохвостыми кучей кабанов и кайота, которых я не мог застрелить ибо я нищеброд.Когда наконец я его настиг, он просто испарился.по крику он был за холмом.Холм я обошел но его не спалил, после он стал кричать с того направления откуда я пришел, я снова обошел холм, но оленя нет.Поднявшись на холм никого не заметил и не услышал бега оленя если бы я его спугнул.
В общем 10 белохвостых оленей из 10.
И того за 2 .5 игры ничего не подстрелил.
Всем советую, если вы любите смотреть как рядом будет проходить кабан или олень, которого вы не можете подстрелить, т.к вы не донатер.Удачи вам.

[h1] theHunter [/h1] jest to tytuł z kategorii Hunting Simlutation, czyli symulator zapierdalania za zwierzętami jak debil, ale oczywiście, żeby najpierw móc zapierdalać za innymi kreaturami oprócz pierdolonych jeleni trzeba wydać pieniążki.
Jest to jeden minus tej gry. Kolejnym minusem jest poruszanie się. Movement w tej grze jest tak spierdolony, że do jebanego jelenia w samouczku podchodziłem 5 minut. Następnie znalazłem się przy jebanej drabinie, niestety ku mojemu rozaczrowaniu gra od razu przeniosła mnie na góre. Wyjąłem pierdoloną strzelbe, btw. zajebiste animacje... Wyjąłem strzelbę, strzeliłem jak gdyby nigdy nic, jeleń po strzale w głowe jeszcze chwile biegał w kółko po czym wypierdolił się metr dalej. Znowu musiałem zapierdalać w jebany punkt. Złapałem chuja za rogi i wyłączyłem grę.

Gra co dziwne ma kilka plusów:
-Klimat
-Rozgrywka sama w sobie po przyzwyczajeniu nie jest taka zła
-Ludziom, którzy są lekko, lub mocniej upośledzeni bardzo się ona spodoba

Osobiście nie polecam tego tytułu ludziom, którzy mają słabą cierpliwość :) aczkolwiek gra ma potencjał!

Это не игра, а симулятор огромного доната, практически ничего нельзя сделать без денег, странно что не сделали воздух платным, да графика приятная и все вообщем, я понимаю если бы была платная, особая одежда, или оружие, но покупка лицензии на СТРЕЛЬБУ, извините меня это уже п*здец.

1 час 49 минут занимался тем, что выслеживал добычу. За всю игру никого не убил. Все платное, чтобы норм охотиться надо купить кучу лицензий. Стандартная лицензия дает только охоту на белого оленя и фазана, которых в свою очередь хер найдешь. Просто так потратил грубо говоря 2 часа. Идите ♥♥♥♥♥!!!

Je vais être franc, j'ai detesté ce jeu, déjà il faut payer pour avoir d'autres armes etc. De 2, il faut attendre longtemps pour trouver un animal (1 à 3 heures dans mon cas) et finalement, les animaux sont tout le temps les mêmes, je n'ai eu que des cerfs pour 7 heures de jeux. Franchement vous auriez du mettre toutes les armes, et mettre le jeu a 100€ vu que oui, en tout, le jeu doit couter une centaine d'euros et avec les DLCs ca coute dans les 300€ le tout. Donc, autant jouer a The Forest ou bien d'autres jeux qui ne coutent pas cher, qui ont des graphismes super etc... Même Unturned est meilleur que votre jeu pourquoi ? CAR IL NE SE FOUT PAS DE VOTRE GUEULE ! J'aurais aimé ce jeu si le taux de nullitée aurait été inférieure a 0. Car votre jeu est putain de mal fait, avec ces 300€ J'AURAIS PU VOUS ACHETER UNE PUTAIN DE VIE ou bien 10 bon jeux que je recommande comme GTA V, Watch dogs 2, Garry's Mod, Minecraft, FEZ, Half Life, Half Life 2, Portal, Portal 2 et bien évidament LIMBO. Ces jeux sont excellent contrairement au votre, et j'ai plusieurs questions a vous poser, Pourquoi ce jeu coûte plus cher que tout jeux de chasse confondus ?, Pourquoi votre jeu a pleins de trucs a acheter ?, POURQUOI VOUS NOUS PRENNEZ POUR DES CONS ? Franchement, ce jeu est pareil que TheHunter: Call of the Wild, alors pourquoi le votre coûte 3x PLUS CHER ?! POUR je le rappelle LA MÊME PUTAIN DE CHOSE ! Ceci est mon premier avis sur stream et ce n'est pas peu dire.

Je trouve particulièrement dérangeant de voir des personnes critiquer en mettant en cause le fait de devoir payer.... C'est faux. On peut sans payer profiter de toute la beauté de ce jeu, autant visuellement que pour l'amour de la chasse.
Il est vrai que pour pouvoir chasser TOUTES les espèces quand on le veut il faut les licenses, mais le systèmes d'espèces hebdomadaire mise en place permet tout de meme de chasser differents animaux en étant ....... patient. Ce qui manque a beaucoup de monde sembe t il.
J'aurais néanmoins un point faible a noter. Je joue avec mon mari en free, et une fois passer les trois jours offerts nous ne pouvons chasser ensemble. Je trouve franchement regrettable qu'il faille etre membre pour pouvoir creer des parties multi joueurs... Ce point pourrait peut etre etre vu a l'amélioration. En dehors de ca, je recommande ce jeu au passionnés de nature, de pistage, de vie.... parce que j'ose dire, oui, que rien n'oblige a tirer ;-)

Diğer elemanların yorumlarını tamamen boşverin. Hepsi eski. Ben size en güzelini yazacağım.

Atmosfer, oynanış harika, optimizasyon oldukça iyi. Benim sistem pek iyi değil ama yüksek ayarlarda rahatça oynayabiliyorum.
Sesler, orman falan harika. Avlanmak için güzel rezervler var. Yani haritalar. Her rezervde farklı tür hayvanlar görüyoruz. Ayıdan tutun da sülünlere kadar çeşit bol.

Ancak oyundaki tek sorun, ve oyunun eksi puan almasındaki tek sebep şu:
"Yeterince" özgür değiliz. Çünkü oyuna para yatırmadığınız sürece avlayabildiğimiz hayvan sayısı kısıtlı. Sadece 3 tane. Ha bir de haftadan haftaya 2 tane de türü bedavaya avlanabilir yapıyor oyun. Yani her hafta 2 türü daha lisanssız vurabiliyorsunuz. Ama silah ve uygun mermi falan yoksa puan vermez. Zaten bize ne puandan... :D
Diğer türleri de avlayabilmek için lisanslarını almamız gerekiyor. Lisanslar gerçek para ile satılıyor. Oyun parası ile de alınabiliyor ancak oyun parasını da kazanmak oldukça zorlu ve sadece görevler yapılarak kazanılıyor. Görevler bir yerde tıkanıp sizin oyuna para yatırmanız gereken bir pozisyonda kalmanızı sağlıyor.

Ancak "ben yatırmıcam kardeşim bana bu 3 tür yeterli" derseniz, yine keyif alarak oynamaya devam edebilirsiniz.
Mesela ben öyle yapıyorum.
Çünkü lisans almakla iş bitmiyor. Hayvanları kafamıza göre silahlarla vuramıyoruz. Vursakta size puan vermiyor bu defa. :D
Dolayısıyla bu defa tam uygun av yapabilmek için silah ve mermisine de gerçek para veriyorsunuz. Hoppala vede cuppala, oyun ücretsiz dediler diye gelmiştik ama?

OYUN ŞÖYLE OLSAYDI HARİKA OLURDU:

- Hayvan vurduğumuzda kilosuna/boynuzuna vs. göre oyun parası kazansak,
- Kazandığımız paralar ile silah, mermi, kıyafet, lisans vs (HER ŞEYİ) alabilsek

Muhteşem ötesi olurdu.

Ama yine de eğlenceli bir oyun.. :)

Horrible game, i played 2 hours and killed one deer that i didnt even get rewarded for, i had to follow footprints for all this time. not worth just one deer. i would not recommend this game because of the time and effort for one animal.

Free to play tag is a joke. Not really free at all. You can hunt deer. For three days. Then everything is spend money to buy this or that to keep playing. Whats worse is you can only buy animal licenses with the ingame currency you get for completing achievments. Gear and ammo and other items all cost real money.

El juego es una verdadera maravilla. Para el tiempo que tiene me gustan mucho los gráficos, además de físicas balísticas muy buenas, se mueven los árboles, comportanmiento de los animales ectéra. Es el mejor SIMULADOR de cazaque encontrareis, unido a su "segunda parte" el call of the wild.

Lo recomiendo 100% si eres amante de los simuladores. Si buscas un arcade o eres un niño rata que juega al COD o al counter abstente de jugarlo.

Devo dire che è ben fatto e non ha niente da invidiarle ( a porte forse la sola grafica , ma anche no ) .
Anzi , TheHunnter è una buona simulazione.

With nearly 60 hours played at the time of this post, I thought it would be a good time to give this game my review. There are a few things I will be going over and I will include a brief pros and cons list at the end. This review is my opinion only.

SOUND:
In game sound plays a very vital role in theHunter as you need to listen to your surroundings for nearby trotting animals. The sounds this game uses is phenominal and very immersive on my Dolby 7.1 Surround Sounds headset. Although this game's sound is amazing, having a decent headset is almost a requirement.

GAMEPLAY:
This is the most realistic hunting game on the market currently. Tracking and stalking your prey, lining up your shot, and the satisfying feeling of nabbing your big buck is amazing. Not every animal is able to be hunted when first starting out, but with time you are able to hunt every animal in the game without having to pay for a license. The game has a free week system in place where a select few animals are free to hunt for that week. However, if you want to full game experience and unlock every single item in the game for you to use whenever you want, then you need to fork over ~$360.00 in microtransactions on their website.

STORY:
This is a sandbox hunting game with zones. No story mode for this game, though I would've liked to see a Career Mode of some sort. Certainly not needed for this game.

GRAPHICS:
This game has a gorgeous atmosphere at its highest settings, though it is super intensive on your graphics card. If you don't have a great graphics card, your game will not perform all that well and the lower settings pale in comparison to this games highest settings.

REPLAY VALUE:
With the ability to hunt with your friends this game is fun as a get away from your other games. For the serious hunter, unless your buy an absurd amount of items with real money (including lincenses for other animals), this game will get boring quickly being limited to a very small selection of huntable animals.

MY OPINION:
I absolutely love this game, but it comes at a price. Being listed as a Free to Play game is certainly misleading, but it can still be a truly Free to play experience with patience. Earning in game currency takes a long time to accumulate, and the best items can only be bought with real money. The hunting experience this game delivers is unrivaled and extremely satisfying. Just remember that this isn't Call of Duty and you can't run and gun. This game takes patience and dedication if you want to nab yourself a great trophy animal.

Would I recommend buying this game as a Free to Play game? Sure, as long as you know going in that you won't be able to hunt every single animal in the game all at once. If you want to hunt a certain animal, either purchase the lincense (which will expire) or wait until its free for the week.

+Huge hunting reserves
+Great atmosphere
+Most realistic hunting game
+Fun to play with friends
+Competitive tournaments

CONS:
-Expensive microtransactions
-Steep learning curve
-About $360 to unlock everything in game

Just downloaded it for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles with friends. But I can't even play the game, because you have to log in (again!) with your Steam email and password or you have to make an account for theHunter. (terrible name, btw)
The best thing, though, is, that even when you put your email and password correctly, you just get the message that something is incorrect. And there is no way that I make an extra account for that piece of programed rubbish. I get enough spam in my email box already.

I would gladly buy this game if it was 19,99$, with every animal unlocked, rather than play a "free to play" game with most of it's content behind a paywall. I don't mind buying weapons, but it's annoying when you can't hunt the animals you find.

I hope the developers realize they would make more money if they sold it, with everything unlocked, rather than make it free.

It's a good time waster nonetheless. Even with all of that content behind a paywall.

Je poste ce message afin de vous avertir que les editeurs de the hunter sont des gros voleurs qui prendront votre argent et effaceront votre compte sans vous rembourser , je m'explique :

Ayant ete insulté par un canadien anglophone sur un serveur de jeu que j avai crée puis insulté en message privé, que j'avai litteralement ignoré puis signalé , je decouvre que les administrateurs de the hunter se sont amusés a ban mon compte en supprimant tout , puis refusent de me rembourser sous pretexte que j ai été signalé comme fauteur de trouble alors que c est moi qui ait ete embrouillé -_-" .

De plus la personne avec qui je parle via emails de support m apprend que le dit anglophone n'a eu aucune sanction car d'apres eux ne m'ayant pas agressé textuellement .

Devant autant de mauvaise foi je prefere vous mettre en garde face aux pratiques douteuses de ces gens , moi qui soutenait ce jeu eh bien a present ca va etre go a la case association de consommateur et boycott massif de leurs productions .

Ich hatte viele entspannte Jagdstunden in diesem Spiel.
Mir hat es sehr gut gefallen und auch wenn den meisten das ''Free to Play'' sauer aufstößt, muss ich doch sagen, wenn man zum Anfang eins der Packs kauft, kommt man gut über die runden. Und den Leuten die immer aus Trotz den roten Daumen abwärts drücken sage ich: Nur, weil ihr nicht innerhalb der ersten drei Minuten im spiel ein Tier seht und es euch zu langweilig ist, muss man noch lange nicht schlecht bewerten! Dann geht lieber Call of Duty spielen!

Really good game other than the "FREE TO PLAY" part. The fact of the matter is this game is limited to play. To hunt every animal or get supplies you must buy them with in-game currency that is paid for. Other than that its a good game and i recommend it. Hope this helped cheers!

many of us steam gamers have a few cents to be made with Trading Cards. so why not bring em prices down you'll make yah money by having items for less then a dollar or two... gun 1$ ammo 1$ get enough ammo to last a few days of rapid shooting into the air or a week if you conserve yah ammo

not recommended to any 1..unless you are filthy rich and can just buy top guns and equipment...
however cabelas big game hunt 2014 is my favorite hunting game ... folks should check it out

Ok. I have now hit around the 100 hour mark in this game and its time to review it. Does this game deserve 40% negative review? short answer: NO. Long answer: Still no, but I understand why its so low. This game is advertized as a "free to play" game. This is sadly not the case. This is a pay to play Hunting simulator. And let me tell you, this is the single best hunting game ever made. Hands down the most fun and imersive hunting experience I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. I love this game and always will. TheHunter classic will be a game I come back to again and again for two reasons.
1) Like I said above this game gets hunting right. From big game to small the team at EW has done an amazing job creating beutifull hunting reserves inhabited by great looking and beliveable animals to hunt. Its a blast to shoot bucks and ducks alike.
2) I have spent too much money not to get the most out of this game. I think I am sitting at about a $250 bill when it is all said and done. From guns, blinds, lures, callers, bait stations, tents and any hunting equipment you could think of I have bought something of it. But here is why this game is sitting at 40% negative on steam review.

The majority of reviews here are from people who downloaded the game, played for a hour and quit and uninstalled when they saw what is free in the game. Which is not very much. You can always hunt for free with licences for Whitetail deer, all the rabbits and pheasant's. They also give you the means to hunt all of these animals. For free equipment you get the .243 bolt action rifle, 12ga single shot shotgun (not free when I started years ago by the way, bonus for new players now!) and unlimited free ammo for both guns. You also get binoculars, deer bleet caller and a camera to take pics with. You as a free user can also join other hosts multiplayer games but you yourself can't host a game without membership. You can complete missions for specific animals and earn in-game money to buy consumables with. You cant get any weapons with the mission money. You can however earn the premium curency by entering and winning competitions (you are unlikely to win so I dont really count this).

By now many people will already not want to bother trying this game if you have read this far.

Try it anyways.

Trust me here you cant get some really fun hunting done with what you have a free user. Its basicly a demo so why not give it a try and see if you like it. And if you do like the game then buy a membership package. I recomend the $54 one that gives you a year of licences to hunt all animals and a bunch of new weapons and equipment to get you a really good start. With that package you dont really need to buy anything else to get the full experience out of the game.

Here are some tips to get free stuff in game (dont say the devs never gave you anything).

By verifying your email you get a free rifle. Do that in your account info in the launcher. Aslo if you send a referal link to a friend (find that in the launcher sidebar) and they make a TheHunter account you get a ground blind free and your friend gets premium curency and some free equipment. So get a friend to try with you, and if they decide to buy a membership package (you will get the following rewards depending on what package they buy) you get a premium engraved .308 rifle, engraved deer "grunt" caller and a two person tree stand all for free. Also in steam there is a free dlc equipment package that gives you a bunch of consumables for no cost.

It amazes me that so many on here want everything for free, complaining you have to buy this for this and but that for that.
Yes it's pay to play but how do you think the developers pay their staff and all their overheads. I'm also gonna say YES it is bloody expensive and I was very much against this game for that reason. I don't believe in micro transaction in fact I hate them with a passion but that said, If you buy a years sub which is £29.99 you would have all the tools to hunt all species minus the callers which would cost another £20. Yeah it's nearly £50 but this game will last you longer than a year and how many on here pay that for a game that lasts 2-3 weeks and then get ripped into buying DLC's for that game. Once you've shelled out that £50 you can then still hunt for free after that years sub. You keep all that you bought(Guns,Callers,Suits.etc) and then can hunt all the free animals for free. So you pay £50 and then this game will last you forever. I hated this game when I learned it was pay to play and I avoided this game like the plague but once I played this game I was hooked and bought a years sub within 10 mins of playing and since have over 500 hours of play. Yes I have invested more into the game but that was my choice and I didn't have to. I play this game everyday and absolutely love it, you get nothing for free nowdays and to get something out you have to put something in. If you don't like the pay to play model which in fairness grinds my gears, may I recommend The Hunter Call Of The Wild which is out next week 16th Feb. This is gonna be a one off payment($29.99, so maybe £25 UK) but will be backed up with DLC's but saying that, If you see the new hunting reserve in COTW, it would fit the whole of the hunters reserves inside it. Many videos of the new game on Youtube, I highly recommend having a look. Happy Hunting

First of all i dont want to talk about what this game has done right wait it did nothing right you cant just you cant go in the water to hunter 99% of the animals you have to pay REAL money for it you have to buy guns with REAL money and you have to buy ammo wit REAL money its just awful and to start a multiplayer game you need to have premium which is jut dumb there are like 3 animals that you can hunt without buying there licences not to mention you have to buy callers with REAL money to get the animals to get close to you and you walk around for half an hour not even seeing an animal and when you do find and animal you cant shoot it unless you have the licenses there is ingame money but all you can buy with it scent eliminators that do like nothing you also have to buy dogs with REAL money and you have to buy duck decoys with you guessed it REAL money if i were you dont waist your time downloading the game and if you do download the game dont buy anything in the game with real money its just a wast

Gra jest po prostu świetna. oczywiście najpierw możemy polować tylko na Mulaki. I to jest właśnie fajne, ludzie dziwią się dlaczego. To jest symulator. Profesjonalny myśliwy, który chce polować legalnie na zwierzęta, również musi posiadać licencję na dany gatunek. Na stronie gry można sobie zakupić "członkostwo", które do tanich nie należy, ale można wtedy polować na wszystkie gatunki. Jednak mi szkoda jest pieniędzy na coś takiego, preferuję osobiście nabyć zarówno licencje, jak i bronie (strzelby, sztucery myśliwskie, rewolwery czy kusze) czy inny przydatny ekwipunek, za pomocą wirtualnej gotówki, którą można dostać za wypełniane ankiet i innych pierdół, oraz za - i to jest też wielki plus gry - za pierwsze 3 miejsca w konkursach, np. kto upoluje samca Mulaka z jak największej odległości, a takich konkursów nie brakuje, co jakiś czas startują nowe.
Mamy do dyspozycji z początku (bez karty członkostwa), standardowy karabin, lornetkę itd. i z powodzeniem można upolować solidną sztukę. Tylko bez głupiego biegania po lesie, żeby zwierzęcia nie wypłoszyć. Są też dostępne do zakupienia specjalne wabiki (dźwiękowe, czy zapachowe, jak mocz zwierzęcia).
Ogólnie symulator jak najbardziej udany, nie znam lepszego. Do tego ładna grafika, tekstury, i pomysłowość lokacji (połamane gałęzie w lesie, roślinność, górzyste tereny). Gra wymaga często cierpliwości od strony gracza, czasami trzeba poczekać parę minut na przybycie zwabionej zwierzyny, ale właśnie o to chodzi prawda? Jest to najlepszy symulator łowiecki do tej pory, a ludzie na forum tejże gry, są bardzo pomocni i udzielają odpowiedzi na problemy. Pozdrawiam.

been playing for years and i keep goin back. the range of hunting areas, species and hunting techniques mean you can keep the repetivity at bay.new content is fairly regular but the game overall is expensive. a membership is about £20 thats not bad but a new rifle will cost you £5 and their is so much stuff to buy. and this game is NOT free to play. you can play but its more of an on goig demo you will get 1 basic gun and 1 basic shotgun and 2 species on a rotation. its access to the tip of the iceberg to see if its for you.

New Review: Game recently went truely F2P. Memberships are no more, all members are permitted to hunt all animals (given they have the right calibres to do so). REAL MONEY ECONOMY IS STILL A THING but now at least you now are able to hunt all the animals and play multiplayer with your friends without paying for a subscription. Some item in game are a bit over priced like the jeep with the jurassic park skin thats priced at $50 USD (diffence between $50 and $5 is just a skin and a roof) (although there are other jeeps for like $5 USD). Other than that i found myself really getting back into this game after 2 years. Actually being able to go out and hunt with my friends without a subscription has actually change my review of this game! I may have missed some aspects of the recent updates on account of not touching it for two years but I have to say my review (and opinion) has somewhat changed for the better.
TL:DR: Animals and multiplayer sessions are now open to F2P players but guns still cost real world money (insane in game money prices)

Old review (not recommended):Fun! BUT!!!!!!! Pay to win. So this game instantly gets a bad review. If you're going to make a free to play game at least make the everything accessable to everyone. I can understand the Licences for certain animals, but guns, ammo, and clothing? Damn dude, money hungry much?

I like it because it is realistic. Best hunting game I have ever played and as you can see, all the negative reviews are about having to pay to play the full game. It's a game with constant events and developments. So if you aren't willing to pay for it then it's not the game for you. Pretty simple. If people want a decent free game, then what can I say? Can't have your cake and eat it too. A one off payment wouldn't work because it is a game that is constantly updating and developing. So of course they don't make you pay for the game. You have to pay for the full privilege of the liscences and other weapons and events though. Which is fair enough imo. It's not free for the developers and they put their own time and money into it. And why shouldn't they make money out of it? It's called capitalism. And btw, people saying that you just walk around doing nothing didn't bother playing the game long enough for figure how to actually hunt the animals. If you do, then it's plenty fun taking them down. They're full of ♥♥♥♥.

Отыграв в игру больше 200 часов, оставлю свой отзыв. Игру рекомендую взрослым людям, любителям охоты. Атмосфера великолепная, поведение животных очень реалистично. У игры достаточно высокий порог вхождения, т.е всяким глупым школьникам, любителям халявы и "ололо пыщ пыщ" данная игра придется не по вкусу, т.к эта игра про тишину и выслеживание зверей ползая на брюхе. Подманивать и тропить (искать зверя по следам) - тоже придется. Теперь про донат. В игре он есть, но сейчас он гораздо мягче, чем, например, года три назад, но тут опять же нужно понимать, что т.к эта игра по сути единственная сегодня в своем роде на рынке онлайн развелечний- донат оправдан. Для комфортной игры можно вложить 500-1000 рублей и играть себе счастливо.

Всем привет, вот загрузил игру The hunter (охотник) так как сам увлекаюсь охотой, скажу так интересная, красивая, необычная игра сразу забрала у меня всё время пока в отпуске, расстроило только что перевод частями где-то русский где-то английский печально, хотелось чтоб всё было по нашему по русски), впечатления от игры очень положительные, ну да есть платный контент ну можно позволить себе в месяц 300 рублей спустить ничего не убудет, игра класс, играйте и не забывайте что на настоящей охоте все таки интересней)))), но иногда бывает не времени, и игра скрасит это время. ИГРА СУПЕР!!!!

Le principe du jeu est vraiment intéressant. L'environnement, la nature, les animaux. Tout et réuni pour être le plus possible dans l'immersion. Dans son ancien temps, il était nécessaire d'acheter une licence de chasse et nous avions certaine limite. Depuis le jeu a pris un nouveau virage avec une approche plus libre pour le joueur. Il vous faudra être muni de votre patience pour affronter toute la faune et débloquer du nouvel équipement. Il est également possible pour les plus dépensiers d'acheter directement avec du vrai argent. Pour finir, ce jeu peut convenir pour un passionné de chasse. Sinon pour un simple amateur en quête de curiosité, je vous conseille la nouvelle version du jeu.

Nemohu říci nic jiného, než ostatní. Je to pouze free2download, nikoliv free2play ... Divím se, že po vás tady nechtějí 5euro za pouhé přihlášení, či registraci ... Hra je špatná i sama o sobě. Pokud se chcete vyhnout zbytečnému stahování, tak rozhodně nestahujte toto. Vlastně se to ani nedá nazvat hrou. Je to spíše vysavač vašich peněz. Doporučuji k této hře nastavit "nemám zájem".

I want to love this game. Which I do enjoy it alot, but what it comes down to is what everyone else says, PAYWALLS. When you start you get 3 days of unlimited tags for any animal which sounds great right? The catch is that you only get two guns, sure the 12 Gauge is permitted to use on A LOT more animals than the .243 they give you as well but once the three days is up don't expect to be able to enjoy the game until you spend $3.99 on some game time. But wait there's more! You still only have the two guns, one blind, one bottle of decent scent remover, and one call that only works for deer. So in other words expect to spend a ton of money on this game if you really want to play it. It's not my kind of game for that exact reason. Other than the paywalls this game is amazing. If they were to remove the paywalls and make you pay $30 for the game I'd be all in for sure but there's no way I'm playing any more of this. Hopefully the new one will not have paywalls but I'm not holding my breath.

The actual game itself is fantastic, don't get me wrong. Probably the most immersive animal hunting game I've ever played, with very satisfying kills (Especially if you worked for that kill for the last half-hour.). But as a reviewer, I have to mention the paying. Pretty much everything in this game requires you to pay. For example, you can't hunt animals without first buying the "license" for them with real money. Basically, they give you a taste, then offer you the rest for cash. And while this isn't necessarily an evil thing to do, nor is it unheard of, it would just have been nice to know that before I installed it.

If you don't mind paying a lot of money to actually experience this game fully, then I think you might enjoy it. Unfortunately, I never tried everything, as I wasn't willing to pour that much cash into a game that says "Free to Play" on the tin and then doesn't let you actually play.

P.S. I think some people would agree with me on this. If they added a base price to pay to buy the game, then removed (or just reduced) the other hidden costs, then this game would be vastly improved.

На самом деле донат тут не так страшен как орут бомжи\халявщики в отрицательных отзывах. Посмотрев несколько их аккаунтов, стало ясно что это школьники с дотой головного мозга установили игру в надежде что им бесплатно дадут доступ ко всему контенту. И тут пришло осознание того, что донат как раз таки отгораживает малолетних мамkoебов и прочего отребья от этого прекрасного симулятора. Такое адекватное комьюнити как в theHunter большая редкость... половина из того что я знаю об этой игре, о ее тонкостях, я узнал в процессе геймплея от игроков.

Но все же вернусь к донату: Игра бесплатная. И как во всех бесплатных игр тут присутствует внутриигровые покупки т.е. контент за реальные деньги. Приведу небольшой пример цен - что бы охотится на абсолютно всех животных вам понадобится 250 рублей на 3х месячную лицензию (вдумайтесь, 250РУБЛЕЙ ЗА ТРИ МЕСЯЦА ОХОТЫ). ствол и оптику к нему, вам дадут бесплатно, с которого можно валить всю крупную дичь (оленей, лосей, медведей и т.д.) на всех картах. Патроны бесплатные, абсолютно все.
Да, что бы пострелять уже более, так скажем, эксклюзивную дичь, нужно будет сходить за покупками... На утку - дробовик и чучела с манками. На лису и зайца - ствол калибра по меньше. Но цены не кусачие и донатить необходимо только в том случае, если игра затянет, если вы любитель медитативных симуляторов или же вы в реале охотник. На 1000 рублей можно уйти с сумками полных разных ништяков... А теперь сравниваем с минимальной ценой ААА проекта продолжительностью 10 часов?!

Касаемо гемплея в theHunter скажу одно - на данный момент это самый реалистичный симулятор охоты! Огромный открытый мир, красивые пейзажи, хорошо проработанный лес, хорошая графика. Но самое главное, идеально воссоздано поведение животных... Олень почуяв ваш запах или что то неладное развернется и побежит назад. Утка приманенная манком отобьется от стаи и полетит на подсадные, но при плохой маскировке засидки улетит прочь. Медведя выследить - целое достижение. А трусливую индейку вообще по пол часа ждешь на дереве.

The Hunter - эта игра исключительно для любителей жанра.

Ez Free 2 Play? Jó vicc emberek. Annyi ebben a játékban a Free 2 Play, mint Matchboxban a dízel olaj. Csoda hogy a lélegzet vételért nem kell ebben fizetni. Minden szarért állandóan csak fizetni kell. Kapsz 2 ingyen állatot amire egy hétig vadészhatsz engedély nélül. JUHÚ! Csak mire rálőnél közli veled hogy ilyenre nem lőhetsz mert nincs megfelelő puskád. Ekkora pénznyelő nem nagyon láttam még, és ennek a játéknak lesz folytatása (vagy egy másik része) és kíváncsi vagyok hogy az is olyannyira Free 2 Play lesz-e mint ez a szar.

a honest review from a person that has put a total of $9.98 in to the game for 3 things, a 10X rifle scope, deer grunt call, and the 270 bolt action rifle that turned out to be useless because I just found out that I'll either need to keep buying the ammo for it or buy a subscription to keep ammo for it.

I would like to recommend this game but I can't because its pay to progress in most cases, I mean yes of course there are payed things in the game because the dev needs to make money off of the free to play module but the way the dev are using the free to play module, the non paying people are extremely limited. fun game but extremely limited if you don't spend the money.

So here it is. I havent played The hunter all that much, but I played it on steam and also off steam, so I spent more hours in game then shown here.

With The hunter, it is pretty simple. Most of the negative reviews are about the free to play model, this game and dev have been using. I get that. No one should really have the courage to call this game free to play, because, lets face it. What is free, is probably less than 10%. With that being said, you are doing yourself a diservice to rely just on those reviews. In todays world where most of the developers are looking for a quick money, with scaming tehnicques and half made games, I have to commend the devs of The hunter. They held their own and never pretended. The high wall of pay to play in this game was set from the start. This way you realized quite early,wether this game is for you or not. If you ask me, I would prefer this any day, then to see a game I loved and enoyed go down the scam and p2w model under the hands of greedy and uncompetent devs. Everyone has one, there is no need to go personal with the names. With The hunter, there is no pretending. It is what it was. 90% pay tp play. And to be fair, for the game bein about the hunting, it is probably pretty acurate in the fact that, the hunting is a costly sport, hobby , wathever you want to call it. You just cant go out and bag an nimel without some sort of licebse for it. Well The hunter provides that realism ;) When yourealize that, you have an option. Just move along, or try it. Try what it has to offer for free.

If you decided to try, you will find, that while there are heavy limitations about an overall content of the game, what you are given for free is a beauty in itself. You are free to explore beautifull landscapes, listen to the sound of wind in the forest rustling through the trees. Hear the birds, the rivers, oceans. Experience the sun on the misty morning, with a hint of rain. Climb up a hill to discover aincent relics lying about. Hear the animal calling eachother over the peaceful land. When you spot a deer, you are quite able to take one down too, and probably for a moment disrupt all this serenity.

If you decide to play the hunter for free, you must recognize that you must do your best in the limits you have chosen. Once that is clear to you, you will realize the game is still quite enjoyable, if you are wiling to take what its offering to you for free, and make the most of it. I realize however how this is a problem today for probably more than 90% of population, so used on quick gratifications, and getting everything delivered to them right away in full size, not realizing that once they get everything thrown to them they get fed up quicky with it, so they just dump it on move forward. You see, the problem therfore is in your way of viewing the world, your way of percieving, what you want, need , and what is good for you. All the people here, with negative reviews, they would never even been able to play the game like The hunter, because they dont have the patience, the caurage, and the peace in their mind , to even enoy the game. Does this make the developers right for making so much content of this game pay to play? There is no right or wrong. It was their decision, and here it is where it stands. So many players are willing to spend money in games for vanity items, to get new skins for charachters and what not, but they find it hard to spend money to buy themself a new rifle, so they can go hunt the animal they want. Its the same money, just in one case you spend it for something totally usless but in another you spend it on something that will add to your experience.. But if you believe that This ecperience should be granted to you for free, from the start, then you are probably quite young and naive, or havent been living in this world at all.

The hunter itself is a beautifully made game, and I enjoy it a lot.

There is a way to earn the in game premium money for free, by just playing. While it is pretty hard, I have done it. And that was the whole new level of experience and enjoyment in itself. Just saying.

I played the tutorial and all was good, but the game is broken for me, it comes up with red and yellow memory warnings whilst playing (see my screenshot) if anyone knows a fix i would be happy to play it and reconsider my review! but until then, this game SUCKS!!
