术式无国界，能消灭妖魔鬼怪的魔法就是好魔法
小的时候看《哈利波特》，总是幻想着自己能够拥有神奇的能量，举手投足便可以释放出毁天灭地的魔法来（虽然很中二，但是放到现在我也还是觉得泰酷辣），现在，这个有些不切实际的梦想，可以从这款VR游戏中实现了（泪目家人们），火球，冰箭，霹雳闪电，尽情释放你的力量吧！
虽然但是，游戏可圈可点，也存在一定的小问题，一个是施法的判定有点迷，动作做快了不一定能判断出来，部分魔法的手势比较相似，容易误判，打起架来出现这种情况很容易忙不过来导致被群殴，第二点是游戏中转向需要在按下摇杆的同时左右移动摇杆才能转向，跳跃则是必须在按下摇杆的同时向前推才能跳跃，就很不灵活，也不能改按键，最终结果还是被群殴（那很坏了），这边建议先把双手放电的技能给升满，这个技能是威力最高的，但是不能击落投掷物，攻击距离也比较有限，主要是防止被群殴的（其次就是冰箭，对付远距离敌人的最佳攻击手段，精准且威力极佳，就是操作起来有些繁琐）

Im Sale lohnt es sich. Das spiel ist definitiv geil und ich werde den 2. Teil spielen da das Zaubersystem wirklich grandios ist und die Puzzle auch ganz interessant waren. Die Levels unterscheiden sich stark was für abwechslung sorgt. Es gibt nicht viele verschiedene Gegner und das Spiel hat eine sehr kurze Story die Grafik ist mmn in die Jahre gekommen. Habe nen beefy PC mit der Quest 3 und bin daher in VR deutlich besseres gewohnt. Aber der Spielspaß war jede Minute voll da.
Ich freu mich auf den 2. Teil den ich im Bundle mit diesem gekauft habe aber jetzt hab ich erstmal genug gezaubert.
Kurz aber sehr interessantes Kampfsystem mit guter Progression

Alt heißt in dem Fall nicht schlecht, aber das Spielprinzip ist denkbar einfach. Linieare Level, wo man dann an bestimmten Stellen Wellen von Gegnern ausschaltet. Die kleinere Rätsel sind nichts, worüber man sich den Kopf zerbrechen muss.
Aber für etwas Kurzweil ist es ganz schön.

i just completed the game, using the 3.75 modifier cards from the level that i got them and the game says i have 95% complete bc i didn't finish the last spell mastery unlock. i enjoyed the game very much. the spell mechanics are some of the best that i've seen and work most of the time. the encounters are fun and challenging. the graphics are pretty good. the puzzles remind me a lot of zelda puzzles. the voice narrator and story are both very good. i played the game on hard mode most of the time and it took me about 18 hours to beat. i've owned the game for a long time and glad that i finally went into the backlog to play it and beat it :D
i received this game for free from a drawing but i bought dark fates.
some of the negatives from my experience: some of the mechanics are not explicitly explained and although the game is totally beatable without those explanations, one mastery in particular, i would have never guessed how to master; the fireball final mastery skill. i also experienced a lot of crashing when being hit by wraiths but i was streaming and that might have been tying up my resources. there are also some areas of some of the maps that seem unfinished like a wall that you can see through in one of the mines levels; it's a visible wall on one side, but you can see through the wall from the other side of it.

More than your standard hack and slack. One of the few very good VR games.
You have to learn gestures to cast spell rather than than just press buttons. Different options for the levels to add replay-ability and the narrator adds humour. And the level increments offer challenges.

В целом игра не понравилась.
Хотя задумка интересная (кастование магии с помощью жестов), но реализация задумки хромает, а также имеются неудачные решения по геймдизайну.
Что касаемо левелдизайна: уровни линейные с некоторыми секретами, головоломками и боевыми секциями.
А вот с боевыми секциями проблема: они из себя представляют некие арены, в которых "запирают игрока" и спавнят монстряк, такой подход к боям неудачный. Лучше было бы, если бы монстры уже располагались на уровне.
Но не это главная проблема: плохо распознаются жесты, а также "одноручные" заклинания привязаны к левой или правой руке. И по итогу кастование заклинаний это чистый рандом. Другой проблема, нет нормальной возможности как-то глянуть сами жесты заклинаний во время игры. Я нашёл только тренировочную локацию, где вроде бы всё работает, но во время прохождения основных заданий посмотреть эти жесты нельзя.
Многими заклинаниями по факту не получается воспользоваться.
Фаерболлы кастуются через раз, но наведение хромает
Лук кастуется чуть лучше, наведение как у фаерболов
Щит кастуется более менее нормально
А вот с другими заклинаниями всё хуже
Молнии у меня удалось скастовать всего пару раз в основных заданиях и из-за этого в процессе игры можно просто забыть, как это кастуется после нескольких неудачных попыток и перехода на фаерболы
Большие огненные шары кастуются но никак не наводятся, они просто ПАДАЮТ ВНИЗ (при этом в тренировочной локации всё норм работает)
Ну а последнее заклинание я толком не использовал, сказать не могу.
Неработоспособность магии сильно раздражает, т.к. часто заклинания могут быть нужны прям срочно
The idea is great.
But the graphics and animations are outdated.
The game crashes sometimes with a "Fatal error" and you have to restart the level.
Первые полчаса интересно, так как очень приятные ощущения вызывает каст заклинаний. За счет того, что движения приходится совершать своими руками, а не просто нажимать на кнопки, это очень сильно вовлекает в процесс и позволяет почувствовать себя действительно эдаким колдуном. Однако это единственная положительная сторона этой игры.
Геймплей очень однообразный, а головоломки довольно душные (да-да, это я говорю про головоломки с дверьми, для открытия которых нужно нажимать на кнопки с символами). При этом контрольных точек довольно мало. Например, можно пройти одну из этих душных головоломок, после неё помереть в бою и вас вернет к контрольной точке ДО решения головоломки. Я как понял, что мне нужно будет снова повторять всю эту фигню, просто удалил игру и больше не имею никакого желания к ней возвращаться.
К томе же боевка в The Wizards довольно унылая и неинтересная. Просто лупишь по всем врагам молнией и горя не знаешь. Огненный шар и ледяной лук вообще не нужны. Единственное, надо смотреть иногда под ноги — местами пол нагревается и довольно быстро вас убивает, если прошляпите момент. Возможно, если бы здесь была какая-то классная графика и проработанные анимации врагов, я бы и дошел до титров. Но ради одних только приятных ощущений от каста заклинаний терпеть посредственный визуал и скучный игровой процесс как-то не захотелось.
Клёвые механики, но очень скучный игровой процесс.
Критическая проблема, что игра не работает с Steam Link и только за это ставлю минус.

虽然在游戏中，可以手搓好几种法术，移动方式也可以选择瞬移而大大减少了晕的程度，不过缺点过于明显：
首先，我个人认为瞬间移动的时候需要用控制器控制瞬移后的朝向 是个很多此一举的设定，完全可以让玩家仅仅瞬移，而不用担心瞬移后突然变了个朝向。
其次，大部分战斗的场景，都面临着蜂拥而至的近战+远程，也就是说很多时候需要依赖护盾，然后另一只手丢火球。换句话说，很多其他的技能并不能在很多时候派上用场。而且回血的地方不多，甚至回复的血量也很少。
我最不能忍受的是，到后面还要同时面对怪物+幽灵。而打幽灵的技能打不到怪物，打怪物的技能（貌似包括护盾）对幽灵无效。这在我看来就是纯粹的恶意设计。
总的来说，如果这部游戏的流程更短一些，那么随着游戏流程获得新法术的新鲜感可以差不多持续到游戏结束，那么这样的话游戏体验应该会有不小的提升。另外，每次开启游戏的时候都要重新选择语言、惯用手和开启字幕的设定也令人不爽。

Stara i brzydka, ale niesamowita gra vr, menu startowe wyjątkowo nieprzyjemne. Rysujemy w powietrzu wzory odpowiadające czarom i działa to dobrze, chociaż trudno się na początku przyzwyczaić. Ciężko zacząć, czary się mylą, ale później rewelacja, czujesz się jak prawdziwy potężny mag. Wróciłem do gry po ukończeniu The Wizards - Dark Times, która jest luźno powiązaną kontynuacją. W porównaniu do niej, "1" wygląda jak kasztan wyciągnięty z ogniska, na którego ktoś jeszcze napluł. Ale to właśnie tutaj bawiłem się świetnie, grywalność jest niesamowita, gdy już przełamiesz barierę wejścia. Swoją drogą chciałbym siebie zobaczyć podczas tych bardziej intensywnych momentów, gdy macham rękami jak szalony.
Podsumowując, gorąco polecam tą ukrytą perłę zagubioną w morzu gier vr.

The Wizards - Dark Times: Brotherhood - nie wygląda już dziś tak dobrze.
Ta wielka przepaść w wyglądzie między grami już nie istnieje.
A simple vista se ve muy bueno pero a la hora de jugarlo, es muy repetitivo y se vuelve aburrido muy rápidamente, el juego se basa en batallas con los mismos enemigos cada 2 segundos y ese es el Gameplay, el apartado de los hechizos le doy un 7/10, la mayoría de hechizos salen a la primera, pero hay algunos que por mas que los intentes no salen y termina saliendo otro hechizo, por ultimo, las texturas (paredes, suelos, techos) son pésimas incluso en gráficos máximos. en general le doy al juego un 2/10.

The Wizards—Enhanced Edition is one of the better VR games out on the market, particularly because of its focus on a single-player off-rails experience. I am grateful that I was given the opportunity to review it after the newer features were added, because Carbon Studio’s additional polish shows. Those who desire to test their might and learn what it might feel like to be a real-life caster need to desire no longer, for this game is a good simulation.

Можно было простить некое васянство и аляпистость, но я уже 7й раз во время сражения ловлю краш игры, а каждый раз перезаходить в vr (иначе игра не запустится снова) крайне раздражает, не говоря уже о том что приходится пилить кучу врагов заново.

Don't be tricked by "Enhanced Edition". Playing this in 2023, it still has annoying bugs. Some of them even break the game and you have to verify/reinstall the game to fix them.

Не понравилась ни графика (оч слабенько, сделано видимо под мобильное железо) ни игровой процесс, который корявый и скучный во вском случае первое время.
Tout l'intérêt de "The Wizards" réside bien évidemment dans le fait de jouer un sorcier et d'exécuter des sortilèges en bougeant ses bras et ses mains d'une façon précise. Le rêve d'enfance de tout joueur qui se respecte, en somme (cela dit, je pense que si l'on se voyait de l'extérieur en train de remuer comme un gogole, le casque sur la tête, pour créer ces sorts, on aurait plutôt l'impression de voir un Bioman en pleine action). Malheureusement, sur le plan technique, le système n'est pas toujours au point (certains sortilèges ne sortent pas après avoir réalisé le geste adéquat, d'autres n'ont pas l'effet escompté) et il faudra s'armer de patience pour le maîtriser à peu près correctement. Mais comme la patience n'est pas le fort du joueur du jeu vidéo, beaucoup ont dû lâcher l'aventure au bout d'une demi-heure, je pense. Quant à l'environnement dans lequel notre wizard évolue, il s'agit d'une heroic fantasy sympatoche qui fait penser aux livres dont vous êtes le héros, notamment ceux de la série "Sorcellerie !" de Steve Jackson (seuls les vrais comprendront pourquoi). Cependant, l'ensemble manque quand même de finition ; on a l'impression de jouer à un brouillon de jeu plutôt qu'à un vrai jeu (ce que je dis est tellement vrai qu'il existe une suite, comme si ce premier opus n'avait été qu'un galop d'essai). Le troisième monde est, par exemple, bourré de lacunes avec ces fantômes que l'on ne peut plus tuer quand ils arrivent à une certaine distance de toi (soit ça a été programmé avec les pieds soit les concepteurs sont d'une très grande perversité) et son boss final improbable, un dragon vénère dont il faut se débarrasser en faisant une partie de tennis contre lui avec une boule de feu à la place de la petite balle jaune. Mouais.
I bought this game. It has never run. I sought support help, followed the only help options posted with no luck. It never goes past the start screen with no text or other options displayed but little floating bubbles and some music. Maybe if you like that as a screen saver or something.

¿Lanzar hechizos mediante gestos de tus manos? Shut up and take my money. El juego carece de físicas impresionantes o de una gran cantidad props con los que interactuar, pero el combate mágico merece muchísimo la pena y la historia está curiosa. I really like this. This is one of the more unique wave shooter RPG lite type games in VR.
It's not perfect. Some of the environments are a little janky, the interactivity is a little lacking, and the enemies aren't all that interesting to fight.
But most of the set pieces look pretty good, casting spells is a ton of fun, and there is enough here to atleast bring you back more than once.
I think considering the current state of VR (a little stale) this is at least one of the more stand out unique experiences I've tried in a while.
enjoyed the game. a bit short but fun. some of the gesture based spells were a bit hard to master. didnt like the lack of frequent save points. had to re do a lot of parts. controls are kind of wonky. all in all a decent game. hoping the sequel has improved some of this games shortcomings.
This was on the edge of if I'd recommend it or not, mainly because:
I find the game enjoyable, and I can especially appreciate the effort that went into it -- particularly considering this was made in the early 'Wild West' days of VR and everyone was trying to figure out how to best adapt to this new 'world' (which still seems to be ongoing.)
The spell casting system is overall quite intuitive and makes you feel like you're really doing the casting. They also give you the opportunity to specialize abilities you like, but also have to figure out the best approach for each scenario & you'll still be using a variety of them.
They've also pulled off some very large environments in certain cases, which I found impressive. They're also nicely varied.
The main downside -- and what likely is not going to have me continue this game, is that...well...the combat / spell mechanics are less than stellar at times -- and I found myself in certain stages dying repeatedly when they weren't.
This wouldn't be an issue at all...if you didn't have to start from the beginning of the stage each time you die. To be honest, I just do not find that type of approach enjoyable anymore -- replaying large chunks of areas over again -- when it's the same exact thing every time.
I understand they have to make the game challenging, but I was literally dying when the mechanics were falling apart...and when that happens the game loses its fun factor & becomes a slog when it punishes you. Auto checkpoints would have eliminated this, and kept me playing. As it is I got to the last main 'area' of the game, and typically almost always finish a VR game when I start it...this is likely going to be a very rare exception.
Definitely a game worth checking out, but you may find yourself frustrated & potentially tapping out due to some outdated game approaches. I still very much applaud the developers, and I already have the second game in the series in my library & am going to be firing it up down the road.
This is an early VR game from 2018 that has too many issues. As many others have noted in the reviews, the spell casting system is just way too unreliable. Most often it works, but then sometimes it doesn't. The problem is that you get killed very easily when the spells do not work and you must then replay lengthy sections of the game over and over again. This is because the checkpoint system doesn't work properly and you are only given the choice to restart the entire level. As also mentioned in the reviews, enemy death animations are absolutely awful and extremely choppy. The problem I experienced with these animations is that often the game would freeze up in a fatal error because there are too many enemies on screen with these terrible animations. There are also constant frame rate drops in this game. Overall, the entire experience is just too unstable and buggy to enjoy and I cannot recommend it.

Serves as a good primer for the sequel. Made me chuckle a few times, is fairly short and some achievements didn't register. Worth buying the two together during a sale.

Awesome game in my book - fun gesture-based wizard combat with puzzles thrown in. The charismatic narrator keeps the game interesting. I played on the Quest 2 and do yourself a favor - if you have a PC capable of playing this game on the Quest 2, definitely play the PC version. The graphics are 10x better. I think the Quest version of the game might have been made for the Quest 1, which was pretty limited.

施法方式新颖，蛮有意思，游戏环境也还好啦，画面一般般，不过魔法与怪兽的玩法我喜欢。唯一别扭的就是移动方式，太糟糕了，移动、转向都需要按下方向键盘然后再选择，玩到现在，反复练习还是非常别扭，又不能自定义，经常在转向时候移动到意想不到的位置，很坑爹。排除这一点值得玩玩。
Esse jogo infelizmente nunca foi adaptado corretamente para qualquer dispositivo Oculus. Mover a câmera para o lado é uma dificuldade enorme já que 90% do tempo você vai acabar se teleportando sem querer. Essa mecânica ficou muito, muito ruim mesmo. É praticamente impossível passar uma luta sem tomar dano por conta disso.
Alem do problema nos controles, o jogo tem problemas de crash que nunca foram corrigidos.
Outro detalhe está em algumas decisões de design de jogo mesmo. Você tem uma voz o tempo todo que te acompanha, mas que poderia ser muito mais útil. É extremamente fácil ficar agarrado em alguma parte do jogo por conta de algum level design idiota e isso não é nada divertido.
Acho as mecânicas de magia do jogo bem geniais, embora sinta falta de alguma magia que vá me dar uma espada magica para quebrar baús e coisas pelo cenário. Infelizmente os problemas encontrados acabam tirando a magica do jogo.
Edit: Joguei mais um pouco e mantenho minha opinião. O jogo tem vários problemas que me fazem não recomendar ele, ainda mais comparado com outros jogos atuais para VR.

Do I recommend this game? Maybe. If you've always wanted to play a mage and use magic to defend yourself and attack enemies, this game will provide that. It's not a very long game, but there is replayability by changing up your spells or using fate cards (difficulty modifiers which make the game easier or harder). You can also try for the highest score.
Unfortunately the biggest problem has been brought up by others: the gesture based system does not always work. In later levels in the heat of battle there is no room for error, especially when you add difficulty modifiers. Spells must work or else you will be forced to take damage. The second biggest problem are enemies that can cause damage without touching you. It's like blood magic that there is no counter for. The only way to avoid those attacks is to keep moving, but if you keep moving you can't target other enemies; stuck between a rock and a hard place. Another problem is targeting fireball. It's such a basic mage spell but aiming is very difficult rendering it mostly useless. The game provides autoaim, but that ruins the immersion so I don't use it.
Don't misunderstand me, the game is fun. Casting magic is fun. There are no swords so it's not possible to hack and slash through everything. The game is perfectly playable and awesome at what it does, but as the difficulty goes up and you try to achieve the highest score, the glitches of the gesture based spell casting becomes apparent.
Remove the blood magic monsters, and tighten up the controls and this would be a solid positive from me.
Too many control issues. You sometimes have to do a move several times for it to work. It's fine in the beginning, but when the game gets harder the control issues add up and become insanely frustrating. It's a shame, because without these issues, it would be a great game.
I have played this game for 1.5 hours and it sucks
here is why:
1. sound will randomly stop working
2. multiple times during the tutorial level I encountered a bag that won't let me call the spell that I was told to use be the tutorial, restarting the game solved it..
3. still couldn't call fireball reliably after 1.5 hours of playing, could call on the fireball only like 50% of the time.
4. in the first level I couldn't find how to proceed no help from the guide, nothing. this is just bad game design.

I find Carbon Studio's as a very good dev studio. They make some great games, I started with the sequel to this game and am finding this one a bit more.
I've only put about 3 hours into it, got the two Wizard games in a nice cheap bundle makes it very worth it.
I would even say play this one 1st then move on from here.

This is a lot of fun. The gesture based spell casting is amazing, fits *PERFECTLY* in VR, and Arcane Missiles is my favorite spell, it feels super authentic.
That said, the enemy graphics are trash and sound design is the Worst (Literally can't tell when something is coming up next to you because the enemies are silent except for some like hard to locate gargle sounds), but still somehow I absolutely love it.
7/10 lots of fun, hoping the Dark Times expansion solves some of my headaches with this.

I have completed all the missions and found all the fairy shards but for some reason it won't let me unlock all my skills and that is the last achievment that I need to get 100% and nothing that I do fixes it

Okay now this is a VR game I can get lost in for hours. I haven't played that long but I already know that I love it. A story driven campaign with gesture based spells you can cast with beautiful graphics and environments? Yes please. Highly recommend this game!

Yo queria un juego de accion y magia... y si, tiene accion, pero los puzles de puertas y placas de presion me han terminado quemando los nervios... En serio que no me compré un set de realidad virtual para hacer puzles, eso lo puedo hacer mejor sentado frente al monitor...
Los subtitulos estan continuamente debajo de una mesa o detras de una pared, es muy dificil leerlos, y eso hace que no pilles casi ni una explicacion y no sabes para que sirve nada ni que esta pasando xD
Los hechizos molan bastante, el combate esta bien aunque algo frustrante. La bola de fuego, el hechizo mas elemental y en teoria mas facil de castear, no lo es. Se supone que sale con un giro de muñeca pero le cuesta mucho funcionar, ademas es tu unico hechizo de una mano, y con la cantidad de proyectiles k te ponen en la cara, al final siempre vas con el escudo y la bola de fuego, el resto de hechizos no rentan...
No se si lo seguire jugando... o sea, quiero... pero acabo de cerrarlo cabreado por un puzle de 9 puertas y 5 placas de presion que voy a terminar mirando en un walkthroung...

Avant toute chose The Wizards est clairement une version Alpha de The Wizards - Dark Times, en 2018 c'était peut-être bien par rapport au catalogue VR disponible à l'époque mais en 2021 si vous avez le choix entre The Wizards ou The Wizards - Dark Times n'hésitez pas une seconde, oubliez The Wizards.
Le concept des sorts avec des mouvements de mains est génial c'est malheureusement le seul point positif de The Wizards.
Les combats sont inintéressants car 95% des ennemis attaquent au corps à corps, il suffit juste de spamer les sort sans bouger et c'est terminé.
Les décors très vides font penser à des décors de jeux dans les années 90.
Il y a encore des bugs, certains ne nuisent pas au jeu ( sous-titres qui se bloquent, dialogues qui ne fonctionnent pas...) et d'autres beaucoup plus graves qui empêchent de finir le jeu, ce qui est mon cas : je ne peux pas terminer le dernier niveau qui plante tout le temps au même endroit. Après quatre tentatives j'ai abandonné.
A la limite si vous aimez les voyages dans le temps et vous vous sentez l’âme d'un explorateur temporel de la VR vous pouvez glisser un œil dans The Wizards quand il est soldé mais vous savez maintenant à quoi vous attendre.
TLDR;
Gra ma bardzo ciekawy pomysł na rzucanie czarów przez tworzenie gestów. Daje to dużo frajdy. Polecam grę ponieważ mimo wad, które opiszę poniżej pomysł jest świetny i trzeba dopingować twórców. Oceniając całokształt polecam kupić na przecenach.
Jakość wykonania tej gry... no cóż widać, że budżet był mały. Udźwiękowienie jest słabe. Nie wszystko co widać jest adekwatnie udekorowane dźwiękami. Coś w rodzaju, że widzisz lawinę skał, ale słyszysz jakby uderzyły o siebie dwa kamyczki. Animacje wrogów są raczej podstawowe. Graficznie jest OK, czasami nawet zatrzymywałem się, żeby popatrzeć na widoczki. Całokształt wykonania artystycznego jest według mnie na poziomie grywalnej alphy. Błędów z cyklu utknąłem w ścianie doświadczyłem raz. Jeden modyfikator punktów powodował wysyp do pulpitu. Ogółem pod względem samego działania nie narzekam. Fabuła jakaś tam jest, ale tak samo intrygująca jak w filmach 18+. Na pewno to nie ona daje motywację do grania.
From what little I have played this (Less than an hour so far) Great game, really well done, fun experience. Put it on the wishlist and wait for a sale its well worth it. Played with Quest 2
I paid $4.34 for this, and it was worth that. For me there is no replay value here to make it worth more.
Not too bad of a story and visuals. Some cool spells, of varying difficulty to employ. The voice actor doing your companion was great.

Ein Fantasy Shooter-Puzzler. Man kann sechs Zaubersprüche lernen wie Blitze aus den Fingern schießen oder Feuerbälle schleudern. Das funktioniert immersiv durch Gestensteuerung. Beispielsweise kann man sich einen Schild zaubern, in dem man mit der Hand einen Kreis in die Luft zeichnet.
Man kann sitzend oder stehend spielen
Das Spiel hat eine Story und nach etwa sechs Stunden ein richtiges Ende. Die Geschichte wird durch einen professionellen Sprecher humorvoll auf Englisch erzählt. Zwischendurch gibt es kleine Puzzles wie Schalterrätsel, die das Spiel angenehm auflockern.
Es gibt auch Levelbosse, die man auf jeweils andere Weise besiegen muss. Erinnert an eine Art (leichtes) Dark Souls, in dem Sinne, dass die Gegner und Endbosse leicht zu besiegen sind, wenn man erst einmal weiß wie.
Die Kämpfe sind nur kurz mal hektisch, was ich sehr angenehm finde, wenn ich Pausen erhalte.
Obwohl wohl nur aktuell 3% der Spieler das Spiel beendet haben, und auch nur recht wenige das zweite Level anfingen. Wobei die Levelauswahl fand ich anfangs auch schwierig. Zwischen den Leveln spawnt man im eigenen Haus. Dort muss man auf einer Karte das nächste Level per Hand in eine Öffnung bewegen. Ist überhaupt nicht selbsterklärend...vielleicht hindert das Spieler weiterzuspielen...wäre echt schade.
Fazit: mir hat es richtig großen Spaß gemacht. Die Grafik ist toll, die Kämpfe abwechslungsreich und tatsächlich habe ich mich in den drei Tagen spielen jeden Tag auf das Spielen am Abend gefreut.

the price is very cheap, and the gameplay surprisingly very good.
the 6 spells are varied enough and though it took a bit of practice to master them, it's easy and intuitive enough to remain interesting until the end.
there are 3 ruins, each with 4 levels to explore, and there are some puzzles and bosses to keep u entertained.
and yes, there is a DRAGON.

It's nice intro into VR, but by today's standards it's graphics and gameplay starts to get dated.
Pros:
* Ok wave shooter (spells and enemies);
* Some exploration to unlock skillpoints;
* 1st boss is fun.
Cons:
* Very few enemies - by second level you have seen all of monster variation. One of monsters is just cheap ranged hit-scan type you want to kill fast;
* Only 2 spells are actually usable for killing - 1 for single target, 1 for masses of goblins. Other spells do near to no damage or have long cooldowns;
* Final chapter (DLC I guess) is crap - you get skill you can't activate on will, you have to charge it near some pillar to kill otherwise immune mobs. Pair that with previously mentioned hit-scan enemies and you have very annoying experience;
* Only 1st boss is fun. 2nd "boss" is just more waves of enemies with limited heals available. Last boss is immune to everything but his own fireball, so you have to spec in shield reflect... when will devs learn, that people hate immunity phases / immune bosses and/or mobs?
Verdict: first 2 chapters are almost good: 6.5/10, but due to last chapter it's more like 5.5/10 so barely recommended.
If you want better wave shooter - get Raw Data.
A game with an awesome premise and a lot of potential but what will screw you every time is how unreliable the spell gestures can be. By far the most problematic was fireball, your most basic and used spell. I did tests where I repeated the exact same gesture and fireball failed to materialize about 30-40% of the time.
This could be for a number of reasons, I'm using the Oculus Quest 2 and not the Rift, which has different controllers. I'm using AirLink rather than a cable, and possibly losing motion data packets, or it could just be jankiness built into the game. Whatever the reason, it proves to be game-breakingly frustrating when in combat. I got backed into corners by low-level enemies while trying repeatedly to summon my fireball, because it's the only spell you can cast with your shield up. Losing HP (or even dying) in fights against trash mobs because of a game glitch just feels bad.
If you want to try the game, get the second one. It lacks some things that the first had, but I've never once failed to cast the right spell in it for any other reason than human error.

Play this game if you have VR! I used Index and I had no issues, story line is great, voice, animations, etc. Spells are great, so many to play around. don't be lazy and stay with one, move those hands :P I will definitely get back for more achievements and use different cards. I must max up all the spells! I will prefer an old man voice but it's just me.
