在2025年结尾玩到本年度推理游戏最佳！内容量大管饱，各线索之间的逻辑跳转很顺畅，只有几条线索没能跟作者对上脑电波，还好有小黄鸭的帮助XD（小黄鸭的设计很可爱也很妙！）。周末坐在电脑面前Google一天小新闻真是惬意啊~

A história é excelente, com muitas reviravoltas, músicas feitas pelos familiares musicistas muito marcantes, e uma expansão no final do jogo difícil, mas muito recompensadora. A sensação de ver o quadro de pistas todo completo é indescritível! Recomendo muito!

I bought and finished Roottrees shortly after its steam release in 2025. I had never heard of it on itch.io and didn’t know the Steam release was a rerelease with new original artwork (replacing AI artwork) and other changes.
I bought it because I thought the name was funny and it looked like a detective game. I expected a quick afternoon session of rudimentary website browsing and a murder mystery with a few obvious twists.
Instead, I got a game that had such an impact on me that I browse to the Roottrees store page and look at related games to browse for games like it almost every week.
The scale of the Roottrees genealogy project and the polish on the in-game PC research setup have led to the biggest collective shift of gaming standards in my lifetime. Roottrees made it ok to dump incredible amounts of information and incredibly expansive tasks on players all at once (if you do it well).
Incredible game, strong recommend.
Separately, I cringe at the cults of personality surrounding developers of runaway successes like this, especially when it’s a small (or one person) team. It seems like indie devs always go off the rails and never find their way back to what launched them into video game history.
I fully expected the roottrees developers to go the same way, but I was delighted to read that they are taking another indie developer’s itch.io research game, Type Help, and rereleasing it on steam, sidestepping whatever faustian bargain drives indie devs to making fart games on no-name lcd handhelds. I’m very excited.
挺好玩的，有种小时候玩的推理游戏的感觉，很舒适的文字线索推理，喜欢视觉小说的也可以玩一玩，但机制大于剧情吧，想吃鲁特里一家的八卦的来。

The story itself is short, but getting through the mess is what makes the game long and semi difficult (Thank your Rubber Duck for help!) but I loved every second of it. I am a geneology enthusiast myself, having done my own family tree for both sides of my family, so I was instantly taken to the game. There's a certain nostalgia to the early internet days when not everyone was public or known. You really have to pay attention to what you read.
I'm in the middle of Roottree Mania, and I just think it's a great game overall, and is probably something I'll play again in the future, when I've forgotten about what the tree is supposed to look like.

推理游戏，但不完全是推理游戏，关注的不是how而是what，不是reasoning而是discover，玩家通过一个个关键词在不同讯息间穿梭，像金山打字小游戏里踩着写着单词的荷叶渡河的青蛙，非常适合我这种喜欢看谜题但并没有聪明到能轻易解开谜题的玩家，如果期待能抽丝剥茧揭露隐藏在家谱背后的惊天秘密那恐怕会失望，但是喜欢在海量细枝末节的信息里窥视他人人生的一隅能吃到饱！
很精彩，对家族成员，尤其是女性的职业婚姻选择的描写非常有意趣
游戏很好玩, 汉化做的确实不错, 就是有时候搜索人名的时候总要反复确定字对不对, 以及姓名顺序是不是反了. 但是总之绝对物有所值, 推理难度比奥博拉丁的回归简单.
Amazing game. Not only we got the main game - which was a doozy - we also got Roottreemania. My only caveat is that it gets a bit tiring after awhile, some clues are obtuse but the faithful duck was there to help whenever you get stuck. Great job to the devs, and can't wait for the remake of Galley House, which I adore.

游戏很不错，对于喜欢自己动脑子的玩家来说，这种家族树推理会比单纯的视觉小说要强很多，我能感受到作者和译者在制作时的用心，体验给的很不错，包括检索，提示，翻译等等。不过我在有几个地方卡住了好一会，因为我不是英文母语使用者，所以一些被翻译成昵称而非全名的名字对我来说有点棘手。
剧情方面，比较平淡，槽点有一点但不重要。本来看宣传说是豪门家事，其实根本没有我本身期待的那种狗血淋头的剧情
【spoiler】里面最越轨的剧情也就是出轨，同性恋（甚至是tmd纯爱同性恋）而已，居然连乱伦，扒灰之类的东西都没有，整个就是很平淡的走完了，中间说ll指控某人不是婚生子而且严重犯罪的时候我还激动了一下，还以为终于要来大瓜了，结果也就是个挪用公款，而且tmd为什么离婚后生的孩子也能叫非婚生啊，值钱的是鲁特里这个姓和你们的明星妈妈，又不是那个外姓爹，离个婚生的怎么就是非婚生了，这逻辑我实在是看不懂，害得我在那里迷思了大半天。然后演出也有点平淡了，萨姆最后揭露核心矛盾的时候就给我一种，理性来说自己是私生女，养父还是因为同性恋所以被抹除存在的鲁特里家族成员这种事情确实挺让人难受的啦，但是但最后居然只是上个族谱就完事了吗，就不能搞点大事吗，比如把下一任总裁的位置抢过来给自家这一脉什么的，就只是上个族谱也太淡淡的了吧。【/spoiler】

great satisfying puzzle gameplay. the very ending puzzle was annoying, kind of breaks the rules the game established. i was convinced there was another step, failed the puzzle. still great overall.
好玩，雇主偶尔给线索，主要是我们在网上各种搜索关键词，通过大量文本里的蛛丝马迹拼凑出鲁特里一家族谱，并在此了解到不少人性格经历等，甚至挖掘不少瓜。其实我这种人容易晕字，但这游戏不会，故事都挺有意思能看下去在此间找关键词。
剧情逻辑合理，比如名人才能直接搜到，一些影视明星可能在花边小报上出现，某地报纸就会报导本地一些小事。一大家子人设有好有坏但不刻板，且剧情推进是平白的，就是我不断搜集片段化信息去一点点补足这个家族，没什么关于“我”的剧情走，所以剧情就针对鲁特里一家每个角色的印象是我收集不同信息描述后自己拼凑出来的或好或坏形象，不会形成制作者官方引导的感觉。画风我也喜欢，不恐怖且没时间限制在我这很加分，游戏内有小黄鸭可以无限提示不用找攻略对我这种脑袋空空的也挺友好。
喜欢视奸的人有福了！特别好玩一玩就停不下来，第一次打开直接玩了通宵

I bought this full price in search for games like Golden Idol, Obra Dinn, etc., and... the mechanism is just tedious and dull, even for a psychopathic stalker (like me). The gameplay is basically recursively brute forcing every capitalized word into the search engine and every periodicals, etc.
The concept of a researching detective game sounds promising, but endless reading is just not my thing. I then find it more suitable to just make a text-based game, since the 3D viewing, illustrations seem irrelevant and costly (Yes Carl Roottree is hot, but he can't even interact w me, cuz he dead); then I realized it is based off a free game without those fancy UIs... so just go play the Itch one, since the puzzle writing is what matters the most.
The story is also plain water, I rather teach an AI agent to play the game for me. No twist or plot or whatsoever, just knowledge graph connecting.
Music is good, but then the Itch version has them already.
The whole second part is a disaster, from looking up old articles, to spamming keywords everywhere, and final deductions are not completely logical either.
I also saw the birthday post featuring the Roottree sisters, so i thought they might not be dead, right?...nah they dead.
This is the best obra dinn like out there, and honestly theres some parts I even liked more than obra dinn, Such as ingame note taking done really well. Bonus mode was also super fun.

非常精彩！！！文本量很大，如作者所言确实深受奥伯拉丁的影响，但是因为更贴近现代人生活以及和互联网的结合运用，鲁特里的搜索相比起来就更加drama且不易枯燥，作者真的对各个细节都非常用心，人物的立绘也与文本彼此对应。小黄鸭的提示是分等级的，这对于不同提示需求的玩家很友好！本传难度较低，到《狂热》的时候明显更加复杂，有2-3个线索我真的觉得不看提示很难猜。总之玩的酣畅淋漓，70块钱值了！感谢全体制作组的用心

Enjoyed this game. Really makes you think. The investigation process and tools are cool. It does get a little difficult as you move forward but nothing a hint cant fix.
Terrific little game that's absolutely worth the money. Completed the base game in 13 hours, then put 3 more into the follow-up campaign "Roottreemania" before deciding to quit. I had my fill once I realized I would have to go back over previous evidence that featured updated material. I'm fine with repetition, but not in a format which causes confusion for 10+ more hours. Wish it was just all new material, articles and websites with older evidence being "updated" for fun, not out of necessity. Game is still worth it for the base experience. You could abuse the hint feature to get through the second campaign, but I don't feel like cheesing the experience. Would rather just pack my bags and go home. Great game and worth every penny at $20.
Love the nod towards Lucas Pope and his second game: Return of The Obra Dinn. That made me smile when I found it.

被游戏名和封面吸引买了这款游戏，非常适合我这种喜欢解谜类游戏的玩家，而且我认为剧情是比较不错的，鲁特里狂热相对难度要大不少，而且私生子不是我喜欢的剧情类型，总体来说这个价格不便宜，但考虑到此类游戏较为花心血就还好，两个游戏加起来大概游玩时间就是15个小时左右

游戏性大于剧情，玩法挺有意思
非常不错的游戏，有《奥伯拉丁的回归》《her story》的影子，但也有自己的特点，而且这个故事很不错
一口气打完的，刚上手时有多好玩快结束时就有多累。
不过整体来说还是很不错的，一大家子的大部分人都是有自己的故事，而且从最小的一代往上推理，颇有一种把长辈们的过往当热闹看的乐子人感。解密性很强，有时候线索很多需要梳理，也有一种作为侦探头大的感觉。
个人建议打完本体先不要打狂热，对于我来说一直玩还是有点太疲惫了，而且狂热和本体关联性也不算特别大，隔一段时间玩可能还会有“哦哦哦我想起来，这个人怎么怎么样”的那种感觉。
总结：喜欢推理解密的、当乐子人的、看八卦的原价入也不亏；看见外国人名头大的、不喜欢看文字的、逻辑梳理稍差的谨慎入；处于两者之间的等打折。

I like the fact the game takes place in one room. You never feel like you've missed or overlooked an important clue. You instead have to think about [i]how[/i] to get the clues rather than [i]where[/i] they are.

Very addictive detective game with a satisfying and quite unexpected ending. Although short when compared to other genre contemporaries, I found that I wanted to keep playing until I had reached the conclusion of the story. This is due to the interesting characters and the absorbing, often scandalous situations which you need to pick apart and wrap your head around. If you're a fan of the detective genre, The Roottrees are Dead is a no-brainer, easy recommendation.

An absolute treat of a game! The kind I wish I could play for the first time over and over again.
别出心裁的完形填空类推理游戏，但我最早是冲着能侦破命案来的，所以稍显失望。
总体来说还是推荐的，本体蛮有趣，dlc难度略高，还好有小黄鸭全程给提示。
This is a fantastic cozy game! It's a game you leave still thinking about the story, and possibilities, making you want to finish the game in one go!
Over all, really enjoyed! I had a walkthrough up for most of it because it was REALLY easy to miss certain clues/forget where you were if you had to leave and come back because it got late (Also still annoyed over how typing in a nick name that is also a proper name led me to getting "Partial credit") but I am intending on going back some time to get the rest of the trophies and just see what I can find. I loved pulling all the information out and the soundtrack really made things groove along.

Most of the puzzles are just the right level of difficulty, but there were a couple where I was more lucky than good at deducing the truth. Especially in the Rootreemania part. Some of the puzzles there were a bit more far-fetched than in the base game.
Really enjoyed the atmosphere and kudos to the devs for including tools for taking notes in-game.

I'm going to rate this positively, because the main game is a lot of fun and a great puzzle game. But man, is Roottreemania, the extra second campaign, really bad.
The first, main campaign is great. You're searching around the late-'90s internet and magazines, looking for clues, photos and hints to put everything together. A tiny piece of information from the bottom of one webpage might lead you to several other pages and books and all in a nested chain of clues. You might be reminded of something you didn't know was important at the time after gaining new context from other information. The game slowly unfolds as you get more and more information confirmed, and it's really satisfying when something clicks. I've played the first campaign twice, actually, a year apart so I didn't remember much of anything specific, and it was just as fun the second time.
Then there's the second campaign. It started out pretty fun, investigating in the same way and trying to pull apart a big stack of information you get handed at the beginning, working to sort out what's important and what's not. I knew it was supposed to be harder than the first one going in, and it seemed like it was, with each piece of information coming with more difficulty than it did in the first part. I was good with that! But then I hit a wall.
[not spoiling anything specific in this review, but some of the rest of the discussion may give you ideas on what to look at in the second campaign, so read at your own risk.]
I had maybe a quarter of the board full, more or less, and I just couldn't find anything else to search. I looked over all my info 2 or 3 times and couldn't find anything to point in a new direction. So, finally, with deep regret, I used a hint. And it pointed me to the "Previously on ..." evidence item. Now, I hadn't really looked at that, because I went into the second campaign right after the first, so I didn't think I needed a reminder of what I had learned in the last game. And looking over it now, it didn't really give me any more information. So I got another hint, and it told me to look re-search for a piece of evidence I had from last game.
I did, and it gave me information completely different from anything that it said in the last campaign. To explain that, when you look up a book, for example, it gives you a summary of the relevant information you find. It doesn't show you the entire book, obviously. But if this were real life, I would have found that book and looked through it, and then when I got to this point in my next case, I'd know that book might have info I needed, and I could go back and look. Instead, with this game, suddenly the same book has completely new information I'd never seen before, since it's giving me a summary of a different part of it.
There was absolutely no reason for me to go search for that book again because 1) it didn't have any relevant info in the first campaign, 2) The evidence doesn't carry over from the first campaign, so even though I had already found that book I would have to go through the entire search again since I didn't even remember the title (once you find it the first time, it will either go in your evidence or you can use your history function to go back and look at the website or whatever, so it's easy to revisit within the campaign, but not in the new one), and 3) This person seemingly had no connection to the current case. I would never have thought to go back and look.
So I kept going, but eventually I needed another hint, and this time it sent me back to an old website from the first campaign. Again, it was someone not connected in the slightest to the current events, whose name had never come up, but the hint was basically "This website was useful in the first campaign; maybe it's been updated?" So it expects me to just redo my entire first investigation to see if there's anything new?
That's when I quit. I don't mind hard puzzles and logic games; in fact, I really like them. But then there's something like this, where there's absolutely nothing pointing you to an old clue and you're supposed to somehow know to go back and find it again to magically get new information that wasn't there the first time. It's incredibly frustrating and just seems like lazy design. Instead of making a new clue that points you in the direction of these people who were helpful the first time, the game just expects you to recheck everything on your own. It completely killed my interest in continuing to play.
So, if this had 2 campaigns that were both just as fun as the first, it would be a no-brainer recommendation. But with the second being, at least in my opinion, simply not fun or interesting, make your purchase with the knowledge that you really only have one (still very good, but only one few-hour) campaign to play through.

优点很明显缺点比较主观。我个人不是很喜欢本篇结局，给我的震撼感不如推出来刚斯蒂芬妮一家子关系式的感觉。我一开始以为是五世堂中k.a.有私生女是萨姆，小埃和弟弟a.k.是同性骨科爱人但骗婚了帕特里夏。萨曼莎想通过谋杀卡尔来终结鲁特里家族的辉煌或者自己掌权，毕竟三姐妹那一代好像没什么意愿去当继承人。结局虽然没有逻辑bug但有一种配不上我这一路过来的颠沛流离的感觉。
非常优秀的一款游戏（希望作者继续制作下一部），游玩过程相当悠闲放松，但这并不代表难度低，繁多的资料极易遗漏线索，而一旦漏掉那就是长时间的卡关，最后不得不依靠提示来完成，这很容易打击自信，而且国外的人名也容易在游玩过程中造成些许小困扰而导致时间的浪费
I absolutely LOVED this game. I loved the set up and the game play design. Going from the computer and evidence trying to put together the Roottree family. It was satisfying and well put together. Now that I've finished it I so desperately want to play more games like it. I honestly hope that the devs create more games like this. I would 100% play it!
This was such a cozy experience! I felt like I was going down one of those internet rabbitholes, trying to find random bits of information on a very particular niche. Some of the mysteries in here are very very interesting, despite at times getting stuck. The rubber ducky was quite helpful sometimes. I low-key, detective atmosphere of the game was very fitting, as I also was in a dark room, with only the light of my computer shining whilst playing.
I loved the find, am craving some more similar types of games now! Amazing job overall
One of my favorite puzzle games, it was so engrossing and satisfying to figure out I played 11hrs straight.
玩过最难的一款游戏，可能我本来就不擅长推理吧，就是连密室逃脱的解密都解不出来的那种。而且文字量巨大，连打几个小时眼睛会难受。

지금까지 했던 이런 게임들 중에 제일 취향에 맞았던 게임
1부는 하루 먹을 끼니 세 번 정도의 분량을 주고 이후 해금되는 2부는 약 2박 3일 분량의 끼니 세 번과 입 심심할까봐 간식까지 챙겨줌
1부는 이거저거 따로 메모 프로그램 켜서 정리하면서 했는데 그러면서 익숙해지다보니 2부는 그냥 메모도 안 하고 1부보다 쉽게 클리어함... 1부 클리어 시간이랑 난이도 조금 더 높고 분량도 많았던 2부 클리어 시간 비슷한 것을 보니
정보가 여기저기 퍼져있는 편이라 그룹별로 모으는데 고생을 하는 편이지만 정답 맞추기 자체는 상당히 쉬움
모인 일부 정보로 논리 점프가 가능한 정도의 추리력이 있다면 난이도는 더 하락
힌트 한번도 사용 안 했는데 게임 내부에 힌트 기능이 존재하고 막히면 힌트 보면서 가능하니 이런 류의 난이도를 높게 생각하는 사람도 할인할 때 산다면 한 번쯤은 할 만하다고 생각
오브라딘 한 사람들이 많이 추천하던데 내가 플레이 한 게임들 중에서는 오브라딘보다는 히프노스페이스 아웃로우에 가까운 느낌이었음... 히프노스페이스 아웃로우는 추리 요소가 거의 없고 드라마 탐방에 가깝긴 하지만
오브라딘과 난이도 비교는 불가하다고 생각하는게 오브라딘은 시각 청각 등으로 파편화 된 정보를 수집해 유의미한 정보로 추려내서 그룹별로 압축해서 답을 쥐어 짜내는 게임이고 루트트리는 위키피디아 누비면서 마인드맵 짜는 게임에 가까웠음 역링크의 존재가 생각보다 중요함... 두 게임들만의 개성이 있어서 다르게 즐길 수 있어서 좋았음
아 맞아 1부 스토리도 상당히 아침 드라마였는데 2부 스토리부터 저녁 6시 황금 시간대 드라마 수준에 가까워짐 루트트리 대단해
재밌게 하였구요 이런 분들에게 추천
1. 정보 찾아다니며 수집하다가 탁 하고 풀리는 순간이 있는 게임 좋아하는 분들
2. 게임에서 이상한 전개 나올 때마다 팝콘부터 찾으시는 분들

2. 머리 쓰는 게임 싫어하는 분들
3. 텍스트 많은 게임 못 하는 분들(유의미한 텍스트를 최소 책 1권 분량은 읽어야 함)

总体来说真的很上瘾，但是是我没有找全材料吗，那些没有照片的老一辈的妻子，基本上都是靠瞎猜
前面鲁特里一家死了的篇章很不错。
但后面鲁特里狂热的流程就太繁琐了，解谜的难度因为堆砌了大量的信息而成倍增加，但凡想要查个人都要绕一大圈，经过一堆必要但不重要的信息才能搜索出来，甚至连某个设施改名都要卡玩家的游玩进度，而且还是重复出现这种问题。
如此设计游戏实在是不应该。
因此我推荐的部分只有《鲁特里一家死了》，而对《鲁特里狂热》这一篇章非常厌恶。
Great game mechanics - unlike any other I've played. Ending was disappointing though, it felt misleading at times in a non-on purpose way if that makes sense
I loved this game. The idea of using articles and other information to recreate a family tree is so interesting and very challenging. I enjoyed it and I'll definitely replay it when I have forgotten where people are so I can once again play the detective and finally find all the hints.
This game was done incredibly well! I had so much fun tapping away to find the secrets. A must try if you enjoy sleuthing on the internet or detective games!
*sigh* Yes another game I bought in full price. Don't judge me, I actually refunded the game almost immediately after purchase because I felt stupid not waiting for discounts. But the next day I bought it back, idk why, probably because I was drunk or something. Totally worth it though, won't regret much.
Quick tip in the end: DON'T look at a guide or use your rubber duck too often, try not to do either at all. If you feel stuck, pause and leave, give your brain a break cuz you can't knock yourself out and wipe everything if you want to replay (which is something I guarantee will happen.)

Good puzzle/detective game. Great to play on laptop. Some search requirements can be overly specific but that's few and far between. The hint isn't punishing and doesn't immediately spoil the solution.
这种检索类的游戏也算玩过不少了，这款游戏我觉得中规中矩，没有太让人惊喜的部分，拼好家谱后情节也没有什么精彩反转，就纯粹是在把人和照片对应起来。而且对于国外家族这种关系，我确实没有什么太大的代入感，最后狂热实在是太难了遂放弃……
这绝对是一个 文字游戏玩家“如果没玩过就不好意思往外说你是资深玩家”的必玩游戏，我刚打完本篇，游戏质量奇高无比，没有通篇华丽的词藻，但却从头到尾感受到一种历史的厚重感，除了[spoiler] 最终谜题是靠男同来驱动，有点太政治正确 [/spoiler]以外，本篇没有任何逻辑上的漏洞，串联关系的过程严谨而舒畅，8-10小时就能讲清楚一个家族发展史，不可谓不行云流水。2025年的解密游戏还是太权威了。

只玩了本篇，鲁特里狂热开了个头有点太头疼，主要是隔几天不玩之前的就全忘了，玩起来有点难。还是以后推理瘾犯了再玩吧，先放着了。

一款适合春节假期盘亲戚的游戏。
难度刚刚好，再难就有点费劲了，再简单就有点没意思了。
本篇比狂热有意思，狂热到后面验证的部分有点牵强了。
类ObraDinn的推理游戏，在一个小屋子里当安乐椅神探，通过一台老电脑上搜索各种资料，捏捏小黄鸭的同时抽丝剥茧的研究豪门恩怨，纵享吃瓜乐趣
本地化的很好，一些图片还有谜题也做了专门的处理，不熟悉的一些术语和译名规则也做了说明。唯一不爽的点是姓氏前后位置很别扭
狂热玩起来令人憔悴，但不可谓不优秀。
没有达到奥伯拉丁的高度，但依然是难得一见的作品。
需要做好心理准备。
DLC做得有些东一块西一块的，没有玩本篇时候的爽感，比较遗憾
很有意思，好久没碰到一购买就能让我玩到凌晨的游戏了。

结合了her story的词条检索+金偶像谜案的选词填空+奥伯拉丁的三人定型机制，围绕族谱的家族树主干设计出了富有自身特色的探案系统，案件里的多媒介交互让人印象深刻，好像真的在扮演一个安乐椅侦探利用现代庞大的信息库检索，一边听着音乐伴奏一边在人物信息网里来回穿梭，当严丝合缝地找到正确的答案成就感满满，侦探推理游戏不应当只满足于缜密的逻辑链设计，也要在玩法上有所突破，这点很值得国内游戏学习。本体的谜题设计比DLC鲁特里狂热的体验好很多，打了这么多推理游戏真心劝不会写感情戏别硬写，本体的谜底还算有意思虽然没有在阴谋论上多做文章但基本够用，鲁特里狂热的婚外情撒狗血多少有点画蛇添足。
dlc有点牵强，阅读量太大了后面有点疲倦
一口气推完了，基本上没有哪里是卡顿的。推理，爽！
這是一款時長大約20–30小時的遊戲（包含二周目《魯特里狂熱》），全程幾乎都是純粹的推理享受，過程極致沉浸，讓人欲罷不能。
遊戲一開始就明顯受到奧伯拉丁和她的故事啟發──每正確填入三位主要成員就會鎖定和輸入關鍵字搜查資料（遊戲內甚至藏有相關開發彩蛋）。但不同於她的故事相對被動地接受片段資訊，這款遊戲把主動權完全交給玩家：你必須在海量雜誌、報紙、論壇、圖片和舊網頁中主動篩選、整合線索，透過關鍵字搜尋、照片外貌比對、時間線交叉驗證、婚姻改名規則、家族命名習慣，甚至排除法一步步拼湊真相。這種「全靠自己發現」的沉浸感超強，家譜樹一步步填滿時，那種成就感簡直上癮。
系統打磨更是堪稱一流。內置筆記本功能讓玩家輕鬆記錄任何關鍵線索或懷疑點，避免腦袋亂成一團。更厲害的設計是「小黃鴨」提示系統。它不像其他遊戲的提示一樣直接丟出答案，而是極其細膩的分層引導：先溫和指出「這裡可能有線索」，再細拆搜尋關鍵詞或圖片特徵，各種提示層層揭開。看得出製作者為了不同玩家的節奏和能力，投入大量文字撰寫小黃鴨的每一層內容。另外，因為需要考慮美國的本地用語和提示詞關聯性，所以這款遊戲的文本翻譯難度頗高，但官方仍推出優質中文本地化，誠意滿滿。
總之，這是一款內容豐富，還持續提供頂級推理體驗的佳作。強推！
The main game was fun - the puzzles and clues felt balanced, both requiring a solid amount of brainpower without feeling too obscure. All in all, it took me about 15 hours to complete the family tree without using any hints, which felt like the "sweet spot" for length—long enough to be satisfying, but not so long that it felt like a grind.
However, I found the DLC - Roottreemania, to be a bit overkill. A number of the clues felt tedious or far-fetched, and I found it tiresome to backtrack through old information—especially since I was jumping in right after the main game and already feeling "Roottree fatigue." By the time I reached the DLC, I found myself relying heavily on hints just to push through to the end. Regardless, I did enjoy my time on the main game and found it to be worth the effort and time in general.

作为一款文字推理游戏，剧情不说引人入胜，至少也得有所起伏吧？但本作剧情极为平庸，说平庸都过誉了，就是鸡毛蒜皮小事来回翻腾，令人昏昏欲睡，个人认为配不上现在这个好评率
推理用三次小黄鸭（局内提示器），基本都是卡死在名字上，本地化确实不错，但在个别名字上纯粹增加玩家理解成本。比方“朗纳德，鲁特里”，也就是我第三次鸭子，都推出来他名字了，但网上，报刊，全部搜不到，结果只能搜“朗鲁特里”？我不知道是不是还有没注意的线索指向单字，但到现在我的情绪已经压不住了，挫败感和对剧情的不满到峰值，这个差评不吐不快
解密线路很多的族谱填空游戏，流程很短，没有什么误导和垃圾信息
有个很大的问题，游戏里英文的姓名经常颠倒，互相搜索很麻烦，族谱上还不能复制，以至于出现一个新名字不仅要全部引擎都搜索一遍，还要把名字倒过来再搜一遍。

好玩，过年七大姑八大姨分不清鲁特里一家记的清清楚楚，
它很适合讨厌阴谋论的人，比如我。对于喜欢它的人来说，平淡和八卦属性是它在市场上最难得的优点。但如果你想看到一些惊天动地，血腥黑暗的豪门恩怨，那么毫无疑问，这款游戏不适合你。当然，我知道有人介意这件事，所以我还是想提一下，它含有一些LGBT因素。希望此条测评对你的购买有帮助。
一口气六个小时推完，全程难以放下鼠标。
这游戏最让我佩服的一点是信息密度——几乎没有任何垃圾信息，每一篇文章、每一张照片、每一条日记都有它存在的意义，严丝合缝、丝丝入扣。你翻到的每一条线索最终都能在家族树上找到归宿，那种碎片逐渐拼合的感觉太上瘾了。实在卡住了还有小橡皮鸭子给你递梯子，完全不用担心被劝退😂
音乐是意外之喜。爵士乐做背景恰到好处，调查几个小时下来一点都不疲惫不烦躁，反而很舒心，中间突然蹦出来的迪斯科更是直接把我逗乐了。
故事跨越了整个二十世纪，四代人的悲欢离合，背后是一整部浓缩的美国近现代史——禁酒令、种族隔离、嬉皮运动、冷战……一代人有一代人的困境和选择，但这些时代背景不是生硬的知识点堆砌，而是真正融进了每个家族成员的人生轨迹里。玩到最后，你不只是在填一棵族谱树，更像是读完了一本横跨百年的家族小说。
最后结局揭晓的时候，鸡皮疙瘩直接起来了。
觉得这个游戏最难得的是——野心不大，但把能做的都做到了极致。每一个交互细节都在替玩家着想，是那种"开发者真的自己玩过自己游戏"的考究感。推荐给所有喜欢安静坐下来动脑子的人。

之前一直对网页解密很上头，这个是非ai超绝plus版，不打折也值了。逻辑很顺，细节丰满，角色塑造也很棒，尤其是女性角色，很喜欢萨姆格温劳伦。但本体故事属实比较庞大，一个资料没有完全找完线索的话再往回翻会比较大海捞针，狂热也没有直接继承要用到的很多细节，内置备忘录很好但是如果能做成思维导图一样的格式会好用点，提示的小黄鸭很萌，提示也不是直给，希望制作者能继续出同类型的游戏。
