The gameplay is very simple and short - you just fly for 3-5 minutes and then die. I can only recommend this game to achievement hunters, because it counts toward Steam statistics, but the average gamer shouldn’t spend their time on it.

After that you need to click on the credits. First time will crash your game, you need to reopen it and press again on credits and thats how you get the single achievment in this game.
That's a 8 minute game, I recommend giving it a try, it's a free perfect game after all.

Це були одні з найбезглуздіших 7-м хвилин в моєму житті. А яж якось чув від п'яного бомжа в маршрутці тираду про те, що Стівен Кінг маньяк раз він таке пише. Якщо вас не цікавить вибивання досягнень (воно тут аж одне, після проходження клацаєте в меню на імена розробників знизу, муха починає світитись, клацаєте на цю муху і все ви отримали досягнення), чи вас не цікавлять якісь художні прийоми про життя мухи (так, це щось на любителя, чи естета) то проходьте повз, пограйте в щось інше. Хоча воно безкоштовне... ні, ні всеодно не треба.

I recommend giving it a try. It's a fun casual game where you can live the life of a midge or a firefly. Essentially, you'll just have to fly upwards; it sounds crazy, stupid, like trash... But give it a try! Honestly, for a free game that takes a few MB, it looks pretty good when you're playing. A solid 8 out of 10, if you're talking about games that last a couple of minutes; it didn't disappoint.

Вот и в жизни точно так же. Летишь куда-то, строишь планы. Мечтаешь подняться на самый вверх. А потом хоп, и мухобойка ставит жирную точку. Если конечно до этого вы не прошли миссию с Пифией, где юный монах поведает вам, что мухобойки не существует. Но это не в данной реальности.
Здесь же аналогия больше схожа с Икаром, который вопреки советам отца, стал подниматься к солнцу. Путь главного героя символизирует мечту человека взмыть в небо, как птица, и парить, не ощущая тяжести. Но так же данная история в очередной раз нам напоминает, как опасны крайности и как хороша добродетель умеренности, а также предостерегает от человеческого высокомерия.

por mais simples e curto que o jogo seja, ele passa uma mensagem nas entrelinhas muito fácil de entender: O quão rápido a vida passa.
Ele é divido em 3 atos simples. Começo, meio e fim. com o começo sendo a ascenção, o "inicio" da vida, o meio sendo as dificuldades da vida, pré adolescência e fase adulta, e por fim a luz, o "fim" da vida. Por mais simples que pareça, os 3 atos juntos com os visuais, e principalmente, a música, passam uma sensação mórbida enquanto você sobe, terminando bruscamente depois de encostar na luz

The game is a work of art disguised as a simple game where you play a fly, but this audiovisual masterpiece does so many things well, the ambience, the art, the story, and last but not least, the gameplay.
An epic odyssey divided into 3 acts, the beginning, the ascent, and the light, perfectly measured in time and importance with very different mechanics in each act
The game is a great retelling of the myth of Icarus and how he flew to high and got burned in the sun, but just like Icarus in the original tale, it went down with a flash, not with regret or anguish, but with feelings of accomplishment and joy, for it had reached the very light it once sought after.
But its not all fluff and joy in this tale, as multiple dangers await our hero, turning up the stakes and our determination to reach our ultimate goal, deceiving traps in the form of spiderwebs, and the downpour of deadly leaves that we must avoid so as to not get stopped, for the light ahead awaits.
The music is gorgeous. I've been to many orchestral plays but not one before has made me as emotional as this game, which I must call the zenith of ALL music, it perfectly accompanies this masterpiece from beginning to end but i must say the standout is towards the end, where the stakes are at their highest and we reach the finale.
The graphics have nothing to shy either, for its time specially... and in ours, to be honest, GTA 6? Move away; the Plan does have the superior graphics with the perfect blend of artistic interpretations and realism
The gameplay is simple yes, but in there is where the true beauti of this game resides, being able to move in your usual way with WASD but having a high skill ceiling, which you can experience by trying to avoid the ever looming danger of the falling leaves or reaching the 100% of the game by careful inspection of every nook and cranny of this experience.
Finally, upon reaching the end, the game ask you a question. What question, you may question? The question is not a real question but a philosophical question, that questions you heart rather than your mind. My answer was clear... "Mosca," which means fly in Spanish. Why in Spanish? Because that's my language, obviously.
The game is not bug free, but at least there is only one, or two if you count the game crashing when clicking the credits
In summary, The Plan is not a game; it's an experience that challenges your heart and soul with meaningful questions while your eyes marvel at its beauty. 10/10, should have won GOTY. I want to thank the devs for creating this masterpiece and my teacher for making us play it for a random class in a Wednesday at 9am.

A surprisingly emotional and inspirational experience. The visuals are nice, the music score is amazing, and the simplicity of it all really makes the game feel calm and relaxing. If you have 5 minutes to spare, give it a try.

oyun ilk bakışta basit ve biraz anlamsız görünebilir çünkü geleneksel bir oyun yapısı yok; çoğunlukla yukarı doğru ilerleyip etrafı gözlemlemekten oluşuyor ve bu yönüyle bana biraz “w tuşuna basma oyunu :D ” Gibi geldi ancak oyunun asıl gücü atmosferinde saklı. Özellikle soundtrackleri ve müzikleri gerçekten çok etkileyici; sırf bu müzikleri bir kez bile olsa dinlemek için oynanabilir. Kısa bir deneyim olmasına rağmen oyuncuya düşünme alanı bırakıyor ve herkes kendi bakış açısına göre farklı bir felsefi anlam çıkarabiliyor. This game is a great representation of our age old wonder of existence and death. You start out as a mere fly, but you end up contemplating your own life. The accompanying music is beautiful too. It's especially great for introverts like me who do a lot of introspection.
You fly as a fly, dodging leaves, freeing yourself from a spiderweb, and ultimately flying into a lightbulb, ending your life.
That's the 8-minute game.
After your first playthrough, if you click on "Original" at the bottom, you can play the same short story again as a firefly/fairy.

Je ne pensais jamais qu’incarner une mouche pourrait être intéressant… et pourtant, il m’a prouvé le contraire. Oui, vous avez bien lu : une mouche. Et non, pas celles que vous attrapez en plein vol pour leur arracher les ailes… ici, c’est juste toi, le ciel et ta destinée d’insecte. Dès le lancement, l’ambiance te prend, une forêt sombre, des silhouettes floues, des branches qui bougent au vent… tout ça pour te rappeler que tu es minuscule et que, oui, la vie d’insecte, c’est la hess... :(
Le gameplay est simple à mourir… enfin, à voler. Tu bats des ailes, tu évites des branches, des feuilles et même des araignées un peu trop curieuses. Pas de combats, pas de points, pas de menu compliqué : juste toi, le ciel et une progression qui te fait te demander si tu n’as pas raté un épisode de Planète Terre. C’est minimaliste, mais ça marche. Très vite, tu te surprends à contempler le monde, à t’émerveiller devant une goutte de pluie… ou à te demander pourquoi tu t’infliges ça.
Chaque recoin du jeu est pensé pour renforcer l’absurde beauté de l’expérience. Certaines zones sont sombres, d’autres lumineuses, certaines semblent inaccessibles… ce qui est pratique pour exercer ta frustration et ton sens de l’exploration. La sensation de flottement est surprenante pour un jeu où tu es censé être un insecte. Et le vent aléatoire qui te dévie ? Une belle touche de réalisme… ou juste un moyen de te rappeler que la mouche, c’est fragile.
La narration ? Inexistante. Il n’y a pas de texte, pas de dialogue, pas d’objectif clairement indiqué. Tu inventes ton histoire. Tu te demandes pourquoi cette mouche monte, ce qu’elle cherche, si elle a des rêves… ou si elle est juste en train de rater sa vie d’insecte. Selon ton humeur, ça peut être profondément philosophique… ou totalement ridicule. Et honnêtement, ça marche dans les deux cas.
La bande-son est minimaliste mais efficace, le battement d’ailes, le bruissement des feuilles, la pluie… tout est là pour que tu te sentes seul dans ce monde immense. Pas de musique qui hurle “Oui, vas-y, Oui-Oui, oui, oui, avec ton beau taxi”, juste un accompagnement subtil qui te rappelle que oui, tu es bien en train de piloter une mouche, où tu deviens une mouche (et heureusement pas une mouche a merde).
Le jeu est court : tu peux le finir en moins de dix minutes. Mais chaque seconde compte. Chaque vol, chaque montée, chaque obstacle évité… c’est un petit triomphe. Enfin, jusqu’à ce que tu te rappelles que tu es juste une mouche.
En résumé : c'est pas un jeu classique. pas de combats, pas de loot, pas de scores. Juste une expérience contemplative, poétique, parfois ridicule, simple, et franchement unique. Si vous voulez perdre quelques minutes de votre vie à voler comme une mouche et réfléchir à l’absurdité de tout ça… foncez.
Après avoir eu mon succès, je l’ai désinstallé, car j’étais venu que pour ça. Merci d’avoir lu mon commentaire : j’ai aimé vous faire perdre 2 minutes de votre vie, moi j’ai perdu 10 minutes à l’écrire… et oui, je suis une mouche sur Steam.

Devi solo far volare su (si, userai solo il tasto up) una mosca che parte da terra sino allo spazio per poi raggiungere il sole rappresentato da una lampadina. Chiaramente è una demo che lo sviluppatore avrà usato per dimostrare le sue capacità "molto" discutibili di programmatore e per dare un senso al tutto ci ha applicato un traccia audio famosa. Infatti il gioco ha diversi errori e se sei qua per un achivement facile e veloce, beh sei nel posto sbagliato, quindi: Auguri! (Non lamentarti nei commenti, uomo avvisato mezzo salvato).

И с этим описанием невозможно не согласиться, ибо эта игра состоит целиком и полностью из геймплея, который заключается в том, что нам в роли обыкновенной мухи (или светлячка: если в главном меню игры нажать на имена разработчиков, у насекомого появится альтернативный облик) летим на протяжении нескольких минут в небо, уворачиваясь от падающих листьев и преодолевая порывы ветра. Здесь не стоит задача набирать очки или проходить сюжет, хотя, казалось бы, что из «The Plan» вполне можно было получить этакий платформер с полётом в качестве геймплейной фичи, прикрутить к этому какой-нибудь сюжет и в целом сделать проект подольше в плане хронометража – всё это буквально напрашивается сюда. Однако у «Krillbite Studio» было своё видение проекта, а у игроков, в свою очередь, сложится своё восприятие «The Plan».
Когда вы знаете, что игра вам не предлагает ничего, кроме пятиминутного полёта ввысь, то, что вы увидите в данном проекте? Это обычная проба пера или демонстрация чего-то большего? Может быть, вы скажите, что это халтура, на которую не стоит тратить лишние минуты? Прежде чем делать однозначный вывод, давайте вспомним, какие препятствия мы встречаем в «The Plan» играя за муху, подключим к этому воображение и поймём, что перед нами философское высказывание о жизни и смерти. Мы все ничтожно малы на фоне огромного мира вокруг и Вселенной в целом. Мы, как эта самая муха, пробираемся через тернии жизненных невзгод и проблем всё выше и выше, пока, наконец, не доберёмся до закономерного финала для любого живого существа – смерти. Для мухи в «The Plan» итогом полёта ввысь стала гибель от удара об горящую лампочку. И всех нас ждёт своя лампочка, об которую мы рано или поздно смертельно обожжёмся и прекратим свой жизненный путь.
Вот на такие любопытные мысли наталкивает проект «The Plan», который существует без проработки сценария и методом метафор подаёт игроку притчу о неизбежности смерти. Пока одни игроки, пройдя данное творение, поплюются и в недоумении удалят и больше никогда не запустят «The Plan», другие же найдут в последнем полёте мухи нечто возвышенное в философском плане. А может быть, ничего философского здесь и нет, «Krillbite Studio» действительно просто сделали демонстрационную игру на пять минут, а «The Plan» на деле не требует анализа и поиска глубинных смыслов: где здесь лежит истина, это уже каждый решит для себя самостоятельно.
A simple but short story making you contemplate the cycle of life and death and the journey between. While brief it's worth the play and offers and easy 100% achievement if you're a hunter. Nothing to lose from trying as it's F2P and a short experience.

Первая проба пера норвежской студии Krillbite, авторов Among the Sleep и Mosaic. Решив чуть больше узнать о студии в 2026 году, я увидел у себя в библиотеке этот бесплатный проект 2013 года и с удивлением обнаружил, что 19 февраля 2014 года наиграл в него полтора часа, хотя howlongtobeat говорит о проходении за 5 минут. При этом в своих записях об опробованных играх я её тоже не нашёл. Загадочно.
Сыграв в неё сейчас, это оказалась обычная небольшая демо-версия, где в роли довольно реалистичной мухи мы летим на свет, но в итоге оказывается что это обычная электрическая ловушка. В общем, ничего особенно, лучше вернусь в Mosaic.
Do I like the simplicity? Yes. Is the musical score a wonder to listen to? Oh yes. Oh yes. For a game where the entire point is to fly to the top and be reincarnated as a light? It does really well sticking to its simple nature. Like.. Mushroom cats. You won't get lost in it, but it's free and a good time killer.
P.S... Some players, including @ZXV7N9ES The General, report an error where you have to finish the game and then start it again to get the achievement (there's only one). So if it doesn't work for You the first time, just finish it. And then start it again and the achievement should pop 🙂↔️
