THIS GAME IS AWESOME!
It's a fun LEGO game that ties in with the original LEGO Movie and retells the events in a unique way. Achievement hunting is fun too.
My only gripes with this game are that it's far too short, it only took me a few days to 100% this game after completing the story. The collectables are a pain to collect sometimes, especially the red bricks in the HUB. There can be some glitches like the floating Unikitty box in Cloud Cuckoo Land (which can be fixed by just leaving the area and returning. And Level 9 - The Depths isn't fun at all. And they removed some important parts of the story like Finn's encounter with his father and cutting Emmet's speech to Lord Business in the final cutscene.
7/10. Definitely recommend. Not exactly 1:1 with the movie, but a very good pickup. Everything is, in fact, awesome.

Haven’t finished it and honestly… I don’t think I will

The Lego Movie Videogame feels kinda off compared to other LEGO games I’ve played. The core gameplay is still there, breaking stuff, collecting studs, simple puzzles, but the way it’s presented just doesn’t hit the same

A lot of the levels feel more like you’re just following the movie scene by scene instead of actually playing through something new. It ends up feeling a bit repetitive and less creative than other LEGO titles. The building mechanics are also different, and not really in a good way. It feels more restrictive, like the game is doing things for you instead of letting you figure stuff out

The humor is still there sometimes, and if you like The Lego Movie you might enjoy seeing those moments again, but as a game it just gets boring after a while, because you already know the story. Maybe it gets better later, but from what I’ve played, it doesn’t really give me a reason to keep going. It’s not terrible, just… not as fun as other LEGO games i've finished.

Esse jogo tinha q ser um dos melhores, pq o jogo tinha contrato com os atores do filme para reprisarem seu papel aqui e darem vozes extras pra eles pra complementar momentos extras da gameplays etc, ent dos legos q adaptam filmes, esse tinha q ser o melhor, mas nem msm ser bom ele consegue

As cenas cutscene são tudo picotadas do filme, mas com mt contexto faltando e com qualidade extremamente comprimida, e como eles n adaptaram as cenas pra encaixar com a continuidade da gameplay, elas parecem q só cortam do nada, a historia fica super alongada, com a jogo tendo 15 fazes q em média vai dar umas 7 horas, sendo q o filme nem 2h tem

graficamente esse é um dos piores, e olha q ele foi um dos primeiros a lançar tmb na oitava geração de consoles, mas a gráfico parece lavado e sem vida e a musicas desse jogo quase me deram câncer de tão ruim, além de q elas não loopam, elas acabam, e começam de novo e toda vez q tem uma transição de um cenário para o outro numa faze, a musica corta e começa de novo, quase me deixando maluco enquanto jogava

Platinar esse jogo foi um inferno, pq algumas conquistas tem explicação super abrangente q fica difícil de entender o q significa, ai tu tem q ir atras de um guia, e os red bricks q deveriam te mostrar onde ficam os minikits, as vezes só n quer funcionar, dai tem uma meia dúzia de minikit q tu simplesmente n sabe onde ta

[*] Não sei porque, mas as moedas simplesmente saem 'voando para todo lado toda hora, o que te obriga a parar para coletar
[*] A LEGO nunca detectou corretamente a resolução da minha tela, mas pelo menos eu conseguia configurar manualmente para ela ficar certo (E aumentar a nitidez por consequência). Nesse jogo, não tem essa opção no menu e ainda configurou ela automaticamente de forma errada. Isso faz o jogo ficar ligeiramente borrado permanentemente na minha máquina
[*] O design das fases é bem ruim para 2 jogadores, porque há vários trechos onde um jogador tem que parar esperando o outro liberar o caminho. O problema é que esse tempo é grande entre os jogadores, obrigando um dos jogadores ficar ocasionalmente ocioso assistindo o outro jogar
[*] O sistema de mira é bem 'fraco', se você tenta mirar nos inimigos ele ataca objetos ao fundo. Quando você tenta atacar objetos ao fundo, ele acerta a parede
[*] O sistema de seguir da IA para os personagens que você não está jogando no momento é bem ruim, o que te obriga a voltar e andar tudo de novo pelo mapa porque o personagem resolveu ficar parado ou enroscou no mapa
[*] A divisão de tela atrapalha a pontaria e como não controla junto com o zoom, basta 2 jogadores se afastarem um pouco que metade da tela fica inacessível (Isso atrapalha várias tarefas que envolvem puxar peças ou construir itens complexos)
[*] Achei os personagens meio 'rígidos' na movimentação e no ataque, principalmente o protagonista Emmet. Mesmo jogos antigos da LEGO não passavam essa sensação
[*] Achei as fases ligeiramente poluídas visualmente, por exemplo, aquele excesso de galinhas andando pelo mapa do velho oeste, ou vários objetos da Cucolândia que atrapalham a visualização da fase e onde tem chão para construir peças
[*] Quando você pula em uma barra feito para a Megaestilo com outro personagem (Ex: Vitruvius), ele agarra normalmente, em seguida aparece um aviso que o local não é para ele, e o personagem simplesmente solta a barra e cai para a morte. Isso é desnecessário, ele poderia retornar no ponto anterior

[*] Alguns pontos de pulo da Megaestilo não funcionam adequadamente, fazendo ela cair da plataforma
[*] Na fase do ataque a Cucolândia, a Megaestilo simplesmente atravessou o cajado do Vitruvius e começou a deslizar voando para a esquerda, até chegar na outra plataforma. Isso aconteceu porque deu um bug no mecanismo de colisão entre o personagem e o cajado, fazendo ela flutuar para a esquerda
[*] Algumas animações de transição são cortadas no meio sem explicação
[*] Como todo jogo da LEGO, a primeira vez que abro ele projetando na TV, ele detecta incorretamente a resolução da TV. Para consertar só ligar novamente o jogo
[*] A identificação da mira para 2 jogadores é bugada, ou as cores de ambos são iguais (Ou seja, não há identificação alguma)(Na primeira fase com a fuga com os carros). Ou chegou a inverter as cores entre o jogador 1 e o jogador 2 (Na fase do velho oeste)
[*] Na fase do trem, a Megaestilo simplesmente cai ao tentar se agarrar nos corrimões que ficam na lateral do trem
[*] Na fase onde eles estão em um estúdio, a arma laser consegue deslizar para fora da plataforma
[*] O [spoiler]robô gigante do Emmet[/spoiler] no final do jogo está mal polido, a área de colisão dele não permite pegar moedas nas bordas da parede, e é fácil morrer queimado porque você enroscou nas chamas ou pisou nela porque a câmera não centraliza no personagem
[*] Nas fases finais, as moedas em distâncias pequenas não apareciam na tela, não acho que isso seja necessário para poupar recursos da máquina, só atrapalha na hora de procurar por dinheiro pelo ambiente

It is a very fun game. It is not hard at all since it is a Lego game the cutscenes are just clips from the movie which I personally don't mind. The game did bug for not being able to collect a red brick which you get from the cat lady and the game registered that I owned the brick and I was not able to buy it. Sadly could not get the ethical 100% since I really did not want to do a second play trough. But otherwise a really solid Lego game.

Everything is NOT awesome. This game is not good in the slightest. I genuinely could not think of any redeeming factors while playing this game and I just wanted to get it over with as quickly as possible.

The story follows the movie very well, but the level design is boring and unenjoyable. The levels were long and when playing in free play, you can skip a good amount of sections to speedrun the level, however there were a lot of sections that felt WAY to drawn out and with no loadable checkpoints for the levels it was a pain to go back and replay for collectibles and achievements.

THERE IS NO LEVEL SELECTION HUB/SCREEN. C'mon man. Why do you want me to run through the open world hubs just to find a level and see what I am missing?

Thank god the 100% did not take me long (15 hours). The open world hubs were small enough for me to get all the collectibles quickly, but the puzzles were far from obvious in some cases.

I am a fan of the movie. This game just proves that not everything needs to be adapted into a video game. Money hungry at its finest.

Сюжет. Игра почти дословно следует событиям фильма, но добавляет забавные моменты и отсылки, которых не было в оригинале.

Персонажи. Можно поиграть за Эммета, Люси, Витрувиуса и даже Бэтмена — у каждого свои уникальные способности. Например, Люси умеет карабкаться по стенам, а Бэтмен метает бэтаранги.

Локации. Кирпичград, Дикий Запад, Заоблачная Страна — каждая зона проработана с любовью и буквально «собрана» из LEGO‑деталей. Выглядит потрясающе!

Геймплей. Классические LEGO‑механики: крушим окружение, собираем монетки, решаем головоломки. Есть мини‑игры (например, сборка «меха»), которые разбавляют процесс.

Кооператив. Проходить с другом на разделённом экране — отдельное удовольствие. Мы с приятелем постоянно подшучивали друг над другом во время прохождения.

Из минусов отмечу лишь пару мелких багов и не самое удобное управление с клавиатуры (лучше играть на геймпаде). Но эти мелочи не портят общего впечатления. Оценка: 9/10. Однозначно стоит попробовать!

REALLY low in the "best to Worst" Lego games list, definitely not the best, but me personally, I had a absolute blast playing this game, but you can 100% tell they rushed this game and tried to get it over with. It's a bit lazy but they did release a few other games that year so I'm not going to hold that against them, but overall I would recommend this if you are a big Lego games fan, if not then just watch the movie :/

I have several hundred hours in this game on Wii U. Very Expansive dialogue not seen in the film. Levels are definitely unique and entertaining split with cutscenes from the movie. The puzzles in this game are very simple. Lastly the pop music is so refreshing and appealing to the ears. Definitely a must play just mind the graphics/aspect ratio.

I can't lie ive put my hands off this game for many reasons, but the other day I was bored had nothing to do so i started playing the game. off first hands the levels were "decent" at best, but then they started to decline up until the last 2 when you actually got into the mech. collectibles wise it's pretty simple all the gold bricks come from the levels from getting all instructions, all stud goals, pants, and the 10 in the bonus room. Now I was disappointed that there were no secret bonus level or a character that needed 100% to get (im just mad that we didnt get the prologue Vitruvius as a character ngl) overall though if you know a young sibling or cousin that enjoys lego games this one is a easy enough one for them to have fun without getting mad since theres no complex puzzles to do like in lego batman. 6/10

Первая моя игра в подобной серии (по типу лего игр по фильмам). Понравилось. Конкретно в эту игру я начинал играть аж в 2016, но в то время я еще не мог играть целеустремленно в одну игру, за достижениями тоже не гнался. По итогу пройдена игра на стимдеке с огромным удовольствием. Пройден сначала линейно сюжет, а потом уже бегал собирал коллекционки и прочее.
Кто соберется проходить на 100% сразу скажу, что нужно накопить постепенно на красные кубики, которые кратно увеличивают получаемые детальки (х2, х4, х6, х8, х10), с этим проще будет купить всех персонажей (их можно покупать прямо из меню выбора, не бегая в их поисках где они стоят) и заработать миллиард деталек.

Depois de conquistar 100% das conquistas, posso dizer sem dúvida: The LEGO Movie: The Video Game é simples, divertido e muito carismático.

O jogo não tenta ser algo além do que promete — e isso funciona. A jogabilidade é clássica dos jogos LEGO, fácil de aprender e relaxante de jogar, perfeita tanto pra quem quer completar tudo quanto pra quem só quer se divertir. O humor é um dos pontos mais fortes, trazendo várias piadas e referências direto do filme que realmente arrancam risadas.

Visualmente, o estilo LEGO é muito bem aproveitado, com cenários criativos e personagens cheios de personalidade. A trilha sonora e as dublagens ajudam bastante a manter o clima leve e divertido.

Mesmo sendo um jogo mais curto e simples comparado a outros títulos da franquia LEGO, completar tudo foi uma experiência bem satisfatória. Ideal pra quem gosta de jogos casuais, colecionáveis e aquela sensação boa de ver todas as conquistas desbloqueadas.

Recomendado demais, especialmente pra fãs do filme e caçadores de achievements.

Непоганий представник LEGO-ігор. Я вже годин сто поспіль граю в LEGO-ігри - мені, по суті, нічого й не хочеться, окрім як ламати кубики. Тож можете мені повірити. 😄

Мені подобається її компактність. Гра зроблена не за трилогіями чи великими франшизами, а лише за одним фільмом, тому її тривалість у кілька разів менша за «родичів». Простий формат не дозволяє напхати сюди душні додаткові квести, які багатьом не до вподоби, тож проходиться все доволі бадьоро.

[h3]Геймплей[/h3]
Тут щось на кшталт “роуд-муві” - ми постійно змінюємо біоми: великий мегаполіс, Дикий Захід, підводний світ, казкові локації тощо. Ламаємо блоки, надираємо дупи. Я б навіть сказав, що це LEGO-гра з елементами beat ’em up.

[h3]Сюжет[/h3]
Повторює однойменний фільм, який своєю чергою пародіює основну лінію “Матриці”. У нас є свій “Обраний” із набору будівельників LEGO City, який дізнається, що LEGO-світів безліч і колись люди не зациклювалися на колекційних наборах, а збирали їх як хотіли й у що хотіли.

[h3]З мінусів[/h3]
- Щоб пройти гру на 100 відсотків, потрібно купити доповнення з чотирма парами штанів за ціною житомирських шкарпеток.
- У гри немає власних анімованих вставок між рівнями - використовуються фрагменти прямо з фільму. Схоже, ліцензія не дозволила використати їх у більшому обсязі, тому оповідь відчувається не зовсім цілісною. Попри те, що я дивився фільм років десять тому, за грою я повністю його так і не зміг згадати.

Загалом це хороша гра і коштує недорого навіть без знижки. За класикою можна пройти сюжет, а потім повернутися відкривати раніше недоступні зони з новими вміннями.

This game is the very antithesis of Lego games. Cutscenes are just scenes from the movie in lower quality, the levels are boring, and none of the abilities as a "master builder" are even fun. Could not get even close to finishing it. Bought as part of a bundle to scratch my Lego itch, but this one's not it.

Ran on my old computer with Windows 7. Played for nearly an hour and then a few days later my computer died. Had my current PC with Windows 11 for a few years now and decided to get back into it but now it won't run at all. Crashes back to desktop during intro movie. Spent over an hour searching for a solution and nothing worked. Don't buy. Won't work on modern operating system.

So i originally played this game on Xbox 360 then on the xbox one, i decided why not give it a go on PC. Well first things first the game had issues launching which forced me to actually rewrite the coding of the game in order for it to actually be able to launch properly. Other than that the game worked fine and was actually enjoyable. I was actually playing this alongside a friend (we were in a VC) which made this super fun. And my entire playtime to 100% was done in a single sitting without a break.. so that 9.9h is actually how long it took me.

This is probably one of the first Lego games I have ever played, having started playing it on the Xbox 360. Unfortunately, on Steam this game is pretty buggy in terms of graphics rendering and potential crashes, which requires the individual to have an understanding of file altering. Probably in my top 10 list of Lego games, it's a very short one but I can tell that it was rushed with all cutscenes just being from the movie itself.

Enjoyable short-ish lego game! This game has as usual it's own uniqueness to other lego games.
It does have alot of cinematics and is pretty straighforward in terms of gameplay.

Pelin tarina

Pelin koko tarina on osia kyseisestä elokuvasta joitan kyllä jätetty pois. Mitä ei selitetä kun tulee kohdalleen. Aika pahasti tiivistettetty tarina jos vertaa elokuvaan.

Pelattavuus

Pelin pelattavuus on hyvä ja ohjain tuki toimii loistavasti. Ainut mikä on huono yleinen Lego peli ongelma kumppanisi on vain sesomassa siellä. Pelattavuus on hyvin tehty lapsi ystävälliseksi ja helpoksi. Pelin mekaniikat vaihtelevat hyvin ja toimivat mukavasti.

I wrote a really long review about why this game was bad but with justifications about the environments and level settings appealing to my LEGO brain, but at the end of the day I would have to give this game a negative score if I did that. So this is a really good game if you like LEGO and have only like 5 dollars. Otherwise uh go play OG Lego Racers or Lego Star Wars 2.
