If you played any of these games in your old laptops way back when times were simpler and games were good , you are a real mvp , these games , and especially the last stand union city for me are some of my absolute favorites , i always come back to union city from time to time and its just that something that other games havent quite captured for me despite this game being from 15 YEARS AGO. it is a damn work of art for sure

Great if you're taking a trip down memory lane. Back when Armor Games, XGen Studios, & Newgrounds gave us some quality classics. I will say you can still play all of these online for free still. It's nice that they ported this over to Steam though. 100% in a day and had a fun time.

A nostalgic throwback to one of my favourite games from childhood. I was able to 100% the game playing on hardest difficulty in just about 8 hours. I might come back and dabble in this some more here or there, but thats the overall gameplay loop. The game has some bugs (was forced to restart a run in the third title once) and if your fps drops your mouse movement is very laggy with the fps drop, but I genuinely enjoyed my playthrough and would highly advise picking this up on sale
It's pretty fun little bunch a games. Lots of nostalgia from my youth. They really should have fixed some of the old bugs though and fix the audio for the first two games for gods sake its bursting my ears!

Mega nostalgia if you played this during the flash game days...
Despite being certified hood classic you used to play during your Computer Science classes - this port is horrendous. Runs just as bad as it did in browser back in 2007, garbage resolution, no music, you are being randomly restricted from firing and reloading your weapons and this is what I stumbled upon in first 15 minutes. Just play it on the Internet, you can still find it.

Son tres juegos de la época dorada de [i]Adobe Flash[/i], en pleno auge de los zombies modernos, cada uno con un sistema distinto y con cambios mecánicos que evolucionan bastante a medida que avanzás.
Especialmente [b]Union City[/b], que para la época es un portento: un [i]scroll-lateral[/i] de mundo abierto, con looting y sistema RPG, además de una narrativa con misiones secundarias... Que un juego con esa complejidad funcionara en Flash es increíble, y más aún que haya sido mantenido en el tiempo.
Son experiencias muy divertidas, breves y simples, pero con mucha historia detrás.
Muy recomendado.

когда-то я давно играл на интернета не скачивал его и играла на них разный сайт онлайн не верится что я нашёл это старых деревня ностальгия Flash Player но уже давно в прошлом Как говорится Да к сожалению остались прежде баги старые древние допустим пила сквозь не берёт немножко тупит тоже бывает и FPS в том числе из-за перегрузка народа и стреляют когда начинается толпой но всё равно очень приятно что я купил его за огромную скидку в принципе занимает где-то два-три часа смотря зависит от вас опыт Если вы очень любите старые игры Я очень рекомендую попробовать его мне приятно и понравился как старый добрые времена)) 10 из 10
I was really close to give it a dislike because the zombies keep spawning very close to you , you walk 4 meters away and they spawn back and it was very annoying , and I felt very alone , but then ... I met Kelly and everything changed , we made a great team. What a woman!
I rather see her as a better wife , not Beth :P
I like the style of the first game, and the second one builds on the gameplay greatly, all while sticking to a story. The third game takes a bit of getting used to, but it really grew on me (the melee combat is the way to go lol) and for $3.00 on sale the Legacy Collection is great!
I miss these older types of games, they're why I always wanted a PC in the first place.
The Last Stand is a three-part zombie apocalypse story by Con Artist Games, a relic of the long forgotten past of the Flash Game era which holds up to this day. The first two iterations follow a stationary tower-defense, where one must survive the nightly zombie horde assaults, and manage resources during the day. However the 3rd sequel, The Last Stand: Union City is where the franchise truly comes to its visionary peak.
Union City follows a side-scrolling survival action story, as the protagonist attempts to find his missing daughter, and leave the quarantined megacity. You are able to scavenge crafting materials and makeshift weapons, as you explore progressively urban and densely infested areas of the city. Despite the simplistic 2.5D design, building interiors and Union City districts are divergently designed, offering a composite sense of progression as you move across the town in search of your family.
Union City has an in-depth skill point system, which actually allows for some replayability - skilling into particular pathways improves proficiency with various weapons out of the 91 available.
The story and the following exploration is nerve-tensing, as it forces you to push onwards in occasional darkness and in habitual chaos of hordes roaming the streets - frankly the game establishes well positioned terror through usage of ambush jumpscares and the post-apocalyptic urban sprawl ambience.
All in all, the plot alone makes it worthwhile to experience - as you prowl the city in search of your daughter, you will also come to unveil sinister revelations about the quarantine itself. It is advisable to help strangers along the way, not only out of principle, but you may not know when these strangers may repay the favor. Nevertheless you will need all the help you can get in the final showdown, as you attempt to escape Union City, and set course for the events of The Last Stand: Dead Zone.

Classic. Bugged achievement that i got on a replay but cool collection.
Unfortunately, there are too many bugs in this game collection.
The first and second entries are more or less okay. Although in the first one I had a moment when my character died while scavenging for supplies. The game continued, but I could no longer repair barricades or search for weapons and survivors.
Most of the bugs are in Union City. The most unpleasant one is severe lag when you’re attacked by a large number of zombies at once. That can easily cost you your life. There’s also an annoying issue where your companion’s weapon resets to the default one when moving to another location. And sometimes, if you exit a building to the street while zombies are pouring down from the second floor, they start falling from the sky.
Overall, it’s playable, but I would have liked to see a slightly more professional approach from the developers.

Absolutny klasyk.
The classic flash trilogy, updated to run on modern machines, with the ability to run at high resolutions in fullscreen with upscaled graphics. A few of the bugs of the original games remain, but they are minor and easily worked around in most cases. Definitely recommended for fans of the original games specifically and fans of zombie games in general.

I hate it. I hate feeling old. 1 & 2 are the only ones I remember playing. It was a nice game to reminiscence about. A lot easier, and worth it.
Still worth it to buy if just for the incredible atmosphere in the games.
The Last Stand Legacy collection is not perfect. There are still various bugs that need fixing especially if you plan on playing wirelessly.
Here are some of the issues I found while playing the game:
- The Last Stand 1 stops responding to controls after about a minute in (not reloading weapons anymore) - I deemed this unplayable.
- The Last Stand 2 seems to have a weird issue where writing gets blurry and mixed up together as if the game is having trouble with changing the text from one section to the next (and ends up looking like an AI scribble)
- The Last Stand: Union City still has the above issue but to a relatively less egregious degree
- The Last Stand: Union City's latency feels egregious (not totally unplayable but for a ported flash game, I expected more)
- Companions in the Last Stand: Union City automatically switch back to their default weapons upon accessing the world map (I learned this the hard way by losing the Premium Limited Shotgun you get from the inventory since Kelly switched back to using the pathetic pocket knife, losing the amazing weapon I loaned)
- Still no native controller support (understandable but I wish it did)
Still, despite all these issues I do not regret spending my money as the atmosphere in the game is incredible. They, and especially Union City bring to you the feeling of desperation that you would expect to feel during a zombie apocalypse. It'll get your heart racing, keep you on edge, and make you anxious at times and I think that's what makes this great.
Overall, these are great games and you should definitely buy them when they go on sale (or even if they aren't).
Side note: Latency issues may possibly be on the users' end (especially if you're using wireless 2.4ghz peripherals with USB 3.0 ports nearby) but the legibility of text due to overlapping which makes everything blurry is for sure a problem of the game itself.
Last Stand - 7/10 | Good game, gets way easier with more survivors but you'll still have a bit of trouble living with no barricade damage.
Last Stand 2 - 9/10 | Better than the first, more interactivity and an increase in difficultly while still being able to survive in the harshness of the world.
Last Stand: Union City - 5/10 | Glitchy, buggy, laggy, what do I say? Feels a little rushed with the three aforementioned details being strewn throughout, making it even harder to survive. If it wasn't for that, this would definitely be way higher rated.
