While I did have fun doing the puzzles for this game, much like the previous two, I ended up sitting through so many cutscenes during this one that I lost track of the story for most of it and just became bored (for example, both chapter three and chapter six were basically just cutscenes with like two things you can do in them each). There also was not as many puzzles that involved the time travelling mechanic, which is strange for a game that focuses so much on time travel. It is definitely the weaker one of the series, but still enjoyable as a game.

An sich eine sehr gelungene Fortsetzung. Die Rätsel sind größtenteils anspruchsvoll geblieben, bis auf einen Abschnitt im Laufe des Spiels, in dem man nur Items suchen und von A nach B bringen muss, ohne großartige Rätsel. Die Probleme mit der Steuerung aus den ersten beiden Teilen wurden hier auch fast vollständig behoben.

Wow. To look back on the first game and see how far they came doesn't do this justice. A thrilling conclusion to the story, it brings everything together in an epic spanning time. There's a lot of really cool and creative puzzles, the story is so so so interesting, Leo himself is the best, I just got so invested into this that I'm sad its over. Even just the visuals, they've really really nailed them, it has that exact feel of old pre rendered point and click games while being fully in 3D, it's so impressive. I loved this and I'm so excited to play their next game. Very highly recommended!!!

Just tedious.

I completed volumes 1 and 2 and kind of convinced myself that they were somewhat satisfying. At least the graphics were good. Kind of a poor mans version of the "The Room" series which I also played most of them and actually enjoyed. Maybe House of Da Vinci 3 is not that different from volumes 1 and 2, but I played 5 chapters so far, and very few puzzles are actually what I call fun.

Very heavy emphasis on simple "find the hotspot/interactive part" puzzles which I find annoying. It shouldn't come as a big surprise given I played the other volumes, so maybe it's just me growing more impatient. However. I would like to think that I am getting more discerning in what I want from a game and less patient with putting up with the parts I don't like.

In the middle in terms of fun-factor for puzzle types, we have the "find the inventory gadget that fits this lock", which is sort of what you expect from a game like this, and are somewhat fun as it requires you to visually recognize that this piece fits in that slot.

Finally, there is a small number of what would be good reasoning puzzles, but unfortunately one of them, towards the end of chapter 5 (4x4 grid with Roman numerals that can slid around) which didn't make sense at all, even after I finally gave up and asked the hint system to hand me the solution. I believe I fully understood the premise of the puzzle, as it was a more advanced version of a previous puzzle.

At that point, I decided that I am not having enough fun and I am abandoning the game.

Davvero splendido. Lungo, corposo e abbastanza cervellotico. A volte sembra troppo meccanico, molte azioni sono semplicemente "prendi e metti": prendi un oggetto lo infili li, poi si apre quello e trovi la chiave che devi mettere nella serratura e così via senza necessità di ragionamenti. Ma di colpo arrivano una serie di veri enigmi a raffica e il tutto si equilibra. L'alternanza tra enigmi e parti di "punta e clicca" è perfetta. Da giocare assolutamente.

The House of Da Vinci 3 drops you straight back into where the previous game ended and then pushes you to conspiracies, science, magic, and Vatican-level secrets.

The puzzles are the heart of the experience, and I won’t spoil how they work because discovery is half the joy here. But the variety really stood out. You’re constantly bouncing between number puzzles, mechanical contraptions, and that classic loop of “put this object here so that thing opens over there.” It never felt stale. Just when I thought I had the rhythm down, the game would throw in a twist or a mini-game that made me stop and rethink everything.

There were plenty of those humbling moments too. You know the ones. The “how did I miss that?” moments. And yes, I absolutely forgot to use the Oculus Perpetua more than once, even though the game had already trained me to rely on it. That’s on me. Still, everything felt logical once the pieces clicked, which made solving puzzles feel earned rather than lucky.

The hint system deserves real praise. It’s layered, which means you can ask for a tiny nudge or go all the way to “here’s the thing, now go do it.” I tried to be stubborn and avoid hints unless I was completely stuck, but checking them later made me appreciate how carefully they’re designed. Even when you unlock multiple hints, the game holds something back, preserving that sense of surprise. It never feels like the game is playing itself for you.

Controls are mostly smooth and intuitive. Interactions behave the way you expect, which matters a lot in a puzzle game. A few circular movements felt a bit finicky and took a couple of tries, but nothing rage-inducing. Just a small friction point in an otherwise fluent system.

Visually and atmospherically, the game keeps things fresh. Each area has its own identity, moving from dungeons to taverns to alchemy-filled rooms without feeling repetitive. The sound design stays in the background, doing exactly what it should. It quietly pulls you into the space and then gets out of the way so you can focus. Leonardo and a few other NPCs are fully voice-acted too, and while it’s not mind-blowing, it’s solid and adds warmth to the world.

TL;DR: The House of Da Vinci 3 delivers clever, satisfying puzzles wrapped in a rich mix of history and fantasy. It’s not flawless, but it’s consistently engaging and rewarding if you enjoy thinking your way forward. Rating: 7/10.

It's more of the same in the third game, but maybe it was time to wrap up this series, because towards the end it feels like all imagination has run out. The epilogue chapter is a big letdown after three games working towards this goal. Still, if you're only playing House of Da Vinci for the puzzles, you will still get your fill.

J'ai beaucoup apprécié les 2 premiers volets mais ce 3ème volet m'a un peu déçu. Certes, la mécanique du jeu, les graphismes et surtout les animations sont vraiment très bien réalisés. J'ai trouvé les énigmes inutilement compliquées et les animations trop sophistiquées. On perd un peu le fil de l'histoire. Mais je mets un avis positif pour saluer le travail des devs. Donc globalement je recommande.

Over-designed machinery whirring, spinning, rotating and raising into action will always be a satisfying reward for me solving a puzzle. The House of Da Vinci series is one of the few clones of The Room that has the animation chops and mechanical creativity to truly impress me.

I'll note some rough edges that persist in this third game. The complex & detailed environments get in the way of smooth, casual gameplay because it's tough to know what's interactive.

The environments are nice to look at when zoomed out. But when I found which areas and objects could be interacted with, the quality of the presentation collapses when zooming into them. As with previous games, the texture resolution just isn't high enough for these closeups!

The Room formula has really been pushed to its limits with The House of Da Vinci 3 and I'm feeling the limitations of it not actually being a proper adventure game. The narrative is placed in long-winded cutscenes at the start of levels, rather than naturally and continuously developing though the gameplay. At least this game has a clear and definite ending for the series.

It took me so long to play THoDV3 that Blue Brain's next series of puzzle games has already begun, The House of Tesla. I'll play it someday, but I don't feel the need to jump on it right now.

Tento díl má lepší grafiku a postavy, které se pohybují a mluví s vámi, ale hádanky jsou tuhé, nedávají téměř žádný smysl a bez vestavěného systému nápověd bych se několikrát zasekl. Celkově dost neintuitivní.
Doporučuji pouze proto, že fandové žánru si hru užijí stejně jako všechny díly The Room a podobné hry. Ostatní by se měli spíše tomuto dílu vyhnout.

Вроде и всё красиво сделано и сюжет есть, но какая же она душная. Может из-за управления, может из-за камеры летающей и неудобных ракурсов или из-за не очень интересных загадок. Не рекомендую.

Кажется, что если убрать точечные перемещения и разрешить свободно перемещаться самому, то было бы динамичней и интересней. + убрать/заменить загадки высосанные из пальца типа "достать лестницу", но не подцепить лежащими вокруг длинными палками или поставив бочку, а догадаться, что придумала извращенная фантазия разработчика. Конечно это сделано, чтобы ты пользовался определенной механикой игры, но есть более интересные способы её раскрыть

This game feels the best of the three so far.
Can't recommend it, but other people might have more fun with it.

The puzzles are somewhat intriguing and graphics are neat.
What killed my enjoyment was the sudden enlargement of puzzle area. You might think more freedom to move around and to look for puzzles might be good, but in this instance it gave me way too many options: What was now part of the current puzzle? What even was the current puzzle?

My second grievance was the absurdity of the stairs: When reaching the manor you need to light up the way, but there was nothing blocking your way, and upstairs there was not really that much more light. What was the point of lighting up the lower staircase?
Then there's a staircase that needs to fold out for you to reach a higher point. But I felt you could easily climb up to that point.
These puzzles felt unnecessary. I did all those puzzles just for reaching a spot that one could've reached without doing a puzzle?

Bien que j'ai eu plus de difficultés à m'impliquer, à m'intéresser, à aimer ce 3ième opus; dû à mon ''sentiment'' de (précipitation lors de la création de ce 3ième opus par les créateurs), j'ai finalement terminé celui-ci.

Bien entendu pour toutes personnes ayant joués et terminés les 2 premiers, il serait dommage de ne pas faire celui-ci ! ☺

Nečekal bych, že objevím logickou hru s relativně zajímavou zápletkou včetně skvělého dabingu Lábuse,Přeučila nebo dalších hvězd( Rašilov či Justin svoboda ) kteří dodali postavam uvěřitelnost i když grafika zaostává. Logické hádanky občas potrápí ale nic s čím by nepomohla pozdější nápověda. Od dvojky jsem se těšil až hra vyjde a na zahraní v práci je to krásné odreagování s dobrou hudbou a hratelností :)

1⇨2までは一応「おすすめ」にしましたが、本作⇨3は「おすすめしません」になりました。それほど大きく変化があるわけではないのですが、もともと作業的なパズルが多めで、評価もどちらにしようか境界よりだったところ、3ではネガティブに感じる印象がやや強かったためおすすめしませんに変化しました。

終盤になると難解というよりはゲーム内で与えられる情報ではルールの推論が困難なパズルが紛れ込みだします。たまにそうした難しいパズルに出くわす他はおおむね自明な作業パズルが多いです。また、本作では過去と現在の往来も地味に面倒な要素でした。もっと1つ1つのパズルにダ・ビンチらしさを感じられる機械式であったり、動作に納得できる因果関係の見えるパズルを楽しみたかったです。

I wish i stopped playing at the first one. I have found myself more and more frustrated by the size of the levels and the seeming irrelevance between each puzzle step. The two problems combined make for a frustrating experience and by now i am experiencing more pain than pleasure. The camera angles and weird mouse controls do not help with this at all. I earnestly advise a skip, or go in with a stomach for jank.

I played the previous two games, the first one in flat and VR, and I didn't care for this one. The game doesn't really have the same vibe as the first two. And it didn't feel intuitive. I'm not expecting the game to be easy or answers to be obvious, but the previous games had a flow that this one just didn't. I occasionally got stuck in the first two, but this was a regular occurrence in this game. And what you are can and cannot or are supposed to interact with didn't feel natural. I ended up turning the hint system on, which I never need in these types of games, and even then, sometimes I was just not sure what the game wanted me to do.

The mouse could be bigger and the UI scale didn't change the size of the mouse. I also wish that rather than their only being a magnifying glass and a hand, that there were more mouse types to make it clearer what the mouse did at times. The camera is also a little janky and sometimes has too many zoom options. I felt like I had to back out many many times to go do something else.

And there are a lot of cutscenes, which I don't recall being in the first two games, and they were too long and boring. I don't think they added to the game, and it didn't feel like a natural evolution from the previous games. LD being around took away from the mystery of the game. Just a lot of really poor choices. I definitely recommend the first two games, but I just didn't enjoy this one.

I really enjoy working out the puzzles. If you get stuck, the hints are enough to nudge you in the right direction. I recommend this game to anyone who has a masters degree or a doctorate. Just kidding it is challenging though.

Интересный сюжет как и в предыдущих 2 частях, только длиннее и более емкий.
Больше разнообразных головоломок.
Все также не хватает свободы действий ^_^
Иногда поиск предметов превращается в охоту на пиксели.
Завезли поддержку контроллера, но с эмуляцией мыши а не полноценной переработкой управления.

Its an OK game, but there´s too much running around looking for where I can use this item I just found. Many puzzles are barely puzzles, its about moving around finding what spot to click next. Not having free movement gets annoying too.

I bought it on sale to get an idea of how the upcoming House of Tesla might be since Im an electrical engineer and big Tesla fan. I wont be buying it after playing this.

If you're a fan of games like Myst and The Room, this game will feel somewhat familiar. However, the range of puzzle difficulty is wide from moment to moment: some puzzles will be so obvious you'll wonder if you're a genius or the developers just couldn't think of anything clever, and then in the next moment a puzzle will be so obscure you can't help but wait for a hint to pop up. What ultimately became clear to me is that many of the puzzles are illogical, and so your job is not to "logic your way out of the puzzle," it's to guess at what the developers wanted you to do. In this way, the game is less like Myst and more like an escape room.

Although I do recommend the game (if you like puzzle games), it must be said that the storyline and visual FX (in relation to the character models) are kind of poor, even for a 2022 game. Maybe ESPECIALLY for a 2022 game. There were also innumerable moments where sound effects simply didn't play, making me wonder if the game or my speakers broke.

I'd say: play it if you have 10 hours to burn and don't mind clicking around during obtuse puzzles to uncover some absurd switch on the backside of a non-descript rock (oh sure OF COURSE I need to walk around to the other side of this one rock that looks like all the others). Avoid it if you expect stronger, more clever storytelling and puzzle creation.

House of Da Vinci 3 (English)

Never played the series before, grabbed this game on sale because I wanted some puzzles. At first the controls felt a bit clunky, but I gave it a chance and got into it.

The puzzles are fun: not too easy, not too hard, just the right balance. Sometimes you solve them quickly, sometimes you need to think a bit more. Overall it feels like a cozy old-school adventure from the 2000s — warm and relaxing.

Took me about 7 hours to finish. Perfect for evenings after work — just sit down, relax, solve puzzles and enjoy it chapter by chapter.

Graphics are nothing special, the story is nice, but the real charm is in the puzzles. Now I want to try the earlier games in the series.

I recommend it to anyone looking for a chill puzzle experience — engaging but not exhausting. Solid 4/5, especially worth picking up on sale.

House of Da Vinci 3

Вообще не был знаком с серией, взял игру на распродаже, потому что захотелось поиграть в головоломки. Сначала оттолкнуло не самое удобное управление, но потом втянулся и пошло нормально.

Головоломки классные: не слишком простые, но и не такие, чтобы ломать голову часами. Где-то решаешь быстро, где-то чуть подзависнешь. В целом игра ощущается как ламповое приключение в духе игр начала 2000-х — уютно и по-домашнему.

Прошел за 7 часов. Отличный вариант провести вечер после работы — включить игру, расслабиться, порешать загадки, параллельно что-то слушая. Так и прошел, глава за главой.

Графика обычная, сюжет прикольный, но главный кайф тут в самих головоломках. Теперь думаю пройти и первые части.

Рекомендую всем, кто хочет спокойного и челового геймплея: немного напрячь мозги, но без перегруза. Моя оценка — твердая четверка, особенно если брать на скидке.

La verdad el juego me encanto, un final de saga buenísimo y los puzzles acorde a los dos juegos previos. Lo único que puedo poner de pega es que para platinar el juego te obligaban a rejugarlo completamente teniendo la opción de jugar los capítulos por separado.

El primero sigue siendo mi favorito de los tres, pero recomendado también como el resto.

Разработчики продолжают развивать традиции, заложенные в прошлых частях. Теперь перед нами последовательная история с участием Леонардо Да Винчи, в которой мы все так же выступаем в роли его ученика - Джакомо. В то же время следует приготовится, что теперь Леонардо полностью переложил на наши плечи задачи по решению головоломок, а сам вместе со своим другом лишь изредка дает советы. Ученого можно понять. Он все-таки уже достаточно пожилой, а Джакомо, не только умен и сообразителен, но и полон энергии.

Игровая механика остается прежней. Под приятную музыку мы путешествуем из одной локации в другую, разгадывая головоломки в шаговой доступности. Иногда это будет происходить в рамках одной комнаты, иногда в пределах нескольких помещений. В общем и целом, головоломки проходятся без подсказок. За всю игру лишь один раз пришлось прибегнуть к «звонку другу» для помощи в передвижении корабля по морю, так как во втором маршруте не читался алгоритм (хотя на самом деле все элементарно оказалось).

В то же время на протяжении всего прохождения игра будет постоянно сама подбрасывать подсказки. При этом подсказки будут такие как «посмотрите на стену, может там что-то есть», до полностью содержание решение головоломки «А4 левый квадрат, В2 правый треугольник». То же самое касается сложностей самих головоломок. Некоторые уровни проходятся имея лишь одну или две комбинированные головоломки, ограничивая все задачи нажатием лишь одной кнопки. В некоторых уровнях целые комнаты требуют потратить достаточно времени. Тут хочется больше баланса между уровнями.

Игра изначально разрабатывалась и создавалась для мобильной версии, поэтому все недочеты выходят из этого. Можно сразу приготовиться к посредственной графической составляющей и тому, что массовый пользователь не готов к серьезным и сложным головоломкам. Приятно, что разработчики развивают свой проект и в финальной третьей части уже в основу возводят историю, вокруг которой выстраивают все игровые элементы.

Плюсы:
+ Головоломки. Головоломки всё такие же интересные и местами сложные. Хорошо, что в игре есть подсказки, а то некоторые головоломки не совсем очевидные.
+ Музыка. Простая и приятная музыка, которая дополняет атмосферу.
+ Графика. При решении головоломок все механизмы и детали отображаются четко и понятно, что значительно облегчает восприятие и помогает сосредоточиться на поиске решения.
+ Сюжет. От первой до этой части единый сюжет. Он простой, но от этого жанра и не требуется сложный.

Минусы:
- Система подсказок. Разработчикам нужно доработать логику подсказок. Например, для головоломки есть 3 подсказки, но я продвинулся в решении головоломки уже дальше и подсказка 1 и 2 могут быть уже неактуальные. Особенно такая проблема была в прошлых частях, т.к. между открытием подсказок есть КД.
- Графика. Хотя для данного жанра игры это не критичный недостаток, во время катсцен анимации персонажей выглядят порой угловато и неестественно.
- Сюжет. Финал трилогии получился слишком поспешным и скомканным, оставив после себя множество незакрытых вопросов.

It is really beautiful, the story picks up and keeps you interested (although it gets old that a certain someone always turns up the moment you think you succeeded) and the time-related mechanic is very nice, too. So it pains me to give it a thumbs down, but it is a shame how bad the puzzles are in my opinion.
Mostly it is "find the right spot to click or insert an item", turn a wheel, find a piece of something, no real puzzles. Several times I had clicked where I should have clicked, but the game didn't seem to register it. And when there are puzzles they are either childishly simple or (maybe 2 times over all) insanely complicated, so even the official walkthrough on youtube takes ages to figure out the right solution (zodiac sign sorting). One puzzle even says in the hint "it is random, just do it as many times as it takes until it fits" (roulette wheel with colours)

So, play it for the story and the beauty of everything, just don't expect to be thrilled by the puzzles.

剧情线清晰，是一款还不错的解谜游戏。如果能改进转场就更好了，一个转场晕得想吐，希望能好好优化下。然后提示给的很足~基本可以无攻略通关。有时候互动不了要反复切换好多次才行这个有点烦。然后第二章箭用完也没找到可以再补充箭矢的方法，害得我又从头打了一遍。喜欢机关机械密室的爽感，这是绣湖系列所不具备的。当然心里NO.1的解密游戏还是THE ROOM系列！

Conclusión de la trilogía que, para mí, es el peor de todos. No es un mal juego, de hecho, lo recomiendo, pero los dos primeros me gustaron más. Tal vez es porque ya se hace algo repetitivo (aunque no me suelen cansar los puzzles, la verdad), pero esta entrega no parece hecha con tanto mimo como las otras dos.

Los puzzles me han parecido más sencillos y los diálogos incorporados a veces se hacen bastante tediosos (aunque se pueden pasar). El argumento, aún no siendo lo más importante, también me ha parecido más pillado por los pelos y creo que el final es un poco meh.

Aún así, buenos gráficos y música, a la altura de los otros dos y siempre es tremendamente agradable y satisfactorio este tipo de puzzles mecánicos que tan bien recrean los escape rooms/hall escapes y de los que si eres fan, pues te agradará. Juego recomendable, sobre todo para terminar la trilogía y echar un rato.
