Fun short puzzle game: 9/10.
- Clever mechanics that work well for the gameplay, but nitpick that they don't *really* make sense in terms of consistency.
- Great aesthetic, very Portal-esk but with its own fresh identity. Visually impressive and runs smoothly on high/ultra settings. Minor load zone stutters.
- Pretty cool story/lore. The characters and dialogue are a little generic.

Critique:
- Minor inconsistency with puzzle mechanics. I was stuck midgame level for over 30 minutes because I couldn't get the blocks to consistency land correctly on the conveyers, Cubes would also just completely disappear/reset randomly.

If you like Portal, you will likely like this game. It does use a LOT of the same mechanics as Portal, but it presets them in a fresh way.

pretty good! I would recommend not playing the whole thing in one go if its your first time playing you will get a migraine and find out the puzzle is easier than you thought it would be. game can be finished probably 2 days tops (but a few hours for the sweats)

I kind of wish there was a way to keep check of achievements and viewing the collected documents.

I wish I could give a neutral recommendation because I genuinely can't say its good or bad. I should also stress that, at the time of writing this, I have not completely finished the game, and I hope my review explains why.

Its definitely a respectable entry in the "portal" genre as it doesn't make you think with portals, but rather with time. Specifically rewinding and freezing time. Its a fresh take on the genre's puzzle solving gameplay, however my personal issue lies within the fact that as you progress, the puzzles slowly start to feel more like chores rather than puzzles. At least that's just what it felt like to me.
Some of the puzzles are genuinely fun and well designed, then there are some where the design feel a bit too convoluted or even boring. There have been a few times where I manage to figure out how to progress one part of the puzzle, only to realize I have to start all over just so I can make sure I progress through the next part, because I have to do things in a different order. Its hard to perfectly describe without spoiling too much.

Another thing I have mixed feelings on is the story/writing. Using the game's inspiration for comparison, the protagonist actually speaks and talks to herself quite a bit. The device that you use throughout the entire game actually has an AI that speaks to you quite a bit as well, and engages in many conversations with the protagonist. You can also find bits of text and dialogue scattered on specific computers throughout the game, which from what I could tell are mostly just world building.
While the dialogue is not an unwelcome difference, I can't help but have petty thoughts on the writing. Every attempt at humor just didn't land for me, and it felt less focused on the narrative and much more on nonsense. Most of the dialogue between the protagonist and the device seemed more like casual or playful banter, which is fine, but made the plot and situation overall seem less serious than what it was trying to make it be. Perhaps that's just me, as I know a lot of players approve of it, but I still would have preferred a little more focus on the actual plot. The voice acting seemed well done, though.

I think this game is well made to a degree, but to be safe, I'm not going to recommend this game, purely because I feel that it slowly becomes unfun the further you progress.

Jogar The Entropy Centre foi uma experiência que rapidamente me conquistou como fã de jogos de puzzle. Desde o começo eu senti uma forte familiaridade com o espírito de Portal e Portal 2, mas ao mesmo tempo percebi que o jogo não tenta apenas copiar essa fórmula — ele encontra sua própria identidade. Para mim, ele funciona muito bem como um verdadeiro sucessor espiritual da série Portal.

O grande diferencial está na mecânica central de manipulação temporal. Em vez de abrir portais, aqui se utiliza uma arma capaz de reverter o tempo de objetos, fazendo com que eles retornem exatamente pelo caminho que percorreram antes. Essa ideia muda completamente a forma de pensar os puzzles. Muitas vezes eu precisei observar atentamente o ambiente e imaginar o “histórico” de um objeto para entender como usar o tempo a meu favor.

O que mais me agradou foi que os puzzles quase sempre parecem lógicos e justos. Não tive aquela sensação de solução arbitrária; na maioria das vezes, quando eu finalmente resolvia uma sala, vinha aquele clássico momento de “claro, era isso!”. Essa sensação de descoberta é extremamente satisfatória, e o jogo sabe conduzir bem a progressão de dificuldade.

Outro ponto que me marcou bastante foi a atmosfera. A trilha sonora me lembrou muito o estilo de Portal, com sintetizadores e sons ambientais que criam uma sensação científica e contemplativa. Ao mesmo tempo, em alguns momentos ela me passou uma vibe curiosa de ficção científica retrô, quase como se eu estivesse dentro de um filme sci-fi antigo sobre laboratórios futuristas e experimentos gigantescos.

O jogo também tem uma narrativa interessante que vai sendo revelada aos poucos enquanto se explora o gigantesco complexo científico. Assim como em Portal, existe um certo clima de isolamento e mistério que vai sendo quebrado conforme se descobre mais sobre o que aconteceu naquele lugar.

Um detalhe que fez muita diferença para mim foi a presença da ASTRA, a inteligência artificial que te acompanha durante a jornada. Ela funciona quase como uma parceira de conversa enquanto avanço pelos testes. ASTRA comenta sobre os puzzles, o ambiente e até sobre a situação do mundo, trazendo momentos de humor e também reflexões interessantes.

Essa interação ajuda muito a dar personalidade ao jogo, lembrando um pouco a dinâmica de diálogo que existia em Portal, mas com um tom próprio. Em vários momentos eu me pegava esperando os comentários dela depois de resolver um puzzle ou entrar em uma nova área.

Para mim, ele é facilmente um dos melhores jogos de puzzle modernos, especialmente para quem gosta da fórmula consagrada por Portal. Ele captura aquela mesma sensação de raciocínio criativo e descoberta, mas com sua própria mecânica e identidade.

No final, foi exatamente o tipo de jogo que eu adoro: aquele que me faz parar, pensar, testar ideias… e comemorar quando finalmente consigo dobrar o tempo a meu favor.

The Entropy Center wears its inspiration in its sleeves, well if it had arms and sleeves (it doesn't have any... yet). You can really tell how influential Portal is to the game, from the abandoned research facility, murder robots, a robot companion, and puzzles! And while it doesn't reach the highs of a Portal, it is still realy fun. The puzzles do start feeling a bit samey in the middle of the game, but I never found myself really bored with them. They were just kind of easy. There was maybe one or two puzzles that gave me a hard time, and most of them only take some time when a new mechanic is introduced. The story is feels a little generic and halfway through the game you can kind of tell where it is going, but I have to say that the ending did actually surprised me. I did not expect it to be such a downer.

Overall, if you like Portal and Portal-like games, give this one a go. Is it the best puzzle game ever? No, but I enjoyed it and so might you. I would be excited if an Entropy Center 2 got announced.

心得
關卡 : 謎題難度不高，機制是時間倒轉所以用回推法很快就能過關，費時間的部分主要還是本人手殘加上操作障礙(彈跳方塊每次都沒踩準)。
劇情 : (!!!微暴雷!!!) 開頭動畫就讓人摸不著頭緒，可越到後面隨著劇情推移，一切的線索都漸漸拼湊串聯起來，結局個人覺得還不錯，前後呼應，也很符合該遊戲以"時間"為主軸的概念。

補充 : 看到很多評論跟傳送門比，確實遜色一些但也算有做出特色了，啊Valve就不出3代，大家也別太苛刻嚇跑其他願意嘗試的開發商了。

Я ставлю позначку «Не рекомендована» із важким серцем. В цій грі дійсно багато хороших моментів. Але якщо сюжет для вас має велике значення, ця гра майже гарантовано вас розчарує.

А тепер до плюсів і мінусів без спойлерів.

Візуальний стиль продуманий і приємний. Бруталізм, в якому збудований Центр, здається доречним у місці, де знаходиться комплекс. Варто додати, що і не всі події відбуваються в цій будівлі, комплекс знаходиться в тропіках і частина головоломок облаштована прямо на пляжі (не пробуйте купатись, бо буде як в GTA VC), а частина шляху пролягає через індустріальні підвали з конвеєрами і вентиляторами. Ембієнт також чудово пасує всім подіям, хоча маю одне нарікання: інколи краплі води схожі на шепіт привидів і це лякає.

Головоломки мають свій унікальний елемент: маніпуляцію об'єктами в часі. Це додає новий шар до вирішення головоломок, довелось призвичаїтись вирішувати пазл «в зворотному порядку». Та потім стало якось надто легко. Нові елементи вводять надто повільно, буквально по одному на акт, а кожен акт містить 4-5 головоломок. Лише ближче до середини гри, коли було чимало елементів в різних поєднаннях, довелось знову напружуватись. Більшу частину гри я проходила головоломки з відчуттям «мені нудно, я рухаюсь вперед лише заради сюжету».

Сюжету, який розчарував, але без спойлерів пояснити як слід не вийде. Скажу так: всі ці листи на комп'ютерах, підказки оточення, діалоги персонажів, неначе натякають на такий лор і сюжет, що ти чекаєш чогось грандіозного. І не отримуєш. А як все влаштовано у всесвіті гри з погляду фізики, краще навіть не намагатися розібратись, а прийняти як даність.

Загалом, це хороша гра. З певними недоліками, та плюсів на мою думку значно більше. Я не шкодую ні про гроші, ні про витрачений час.

After playing through the enitre main campaign, it felt absolutely fantastic. The music, the moments and the ending sequence aligning with the beginning. I loved the game and the way some puzzles forced new and original solutions. Although some parts of the game, mostly the beginning, felt long and repetitive, since each chapter consisted of 5 puzzles and what I like to call an “intermission segment” where it’s more lore focused and not much of a chamber. But thanks to these parts (mostly during and after chapter 12) the game felt alive and new. Some specific moments in the game had great ambience and music. On my journey I encountered a couple of glitches but nothing too important or gamebreaking. Pretty solid game in my opinion with quite a bit from lore. What I expected to be some sort of a portal franchise copy, turned out to be a gem of it’s own.

The game looked good, played pretty well, had AMAZING voice acting, and a decent story. It could have been pretty good if the actual gameplay was decent, but unfortunately, it was terrible. The puzzles were mind numbingly easy, and because there were so many mechanics, there were "tutorial puzzles" throughout that I wouldn't even call puzzles. The longest time taken on any puzzle was the last one, which I genuinely had to stop and think through for a moment, and that took me 11 minutes, slowed by inefficient movement so I had to retry after I had solved it.

Although not a deal breaker, there was also lack of polish I didn't expect (models clipping through each other on several occasions, bugs that got you softlocked, annoying jump pad mechanics that would occasionally eat your jump) and the premise of these puzzles, while cool, was annoying to execute because if you rewound just a bit too long or missed a jump by a hair, you would need to redo the entire sequence. This became a more annoying problem as the puzzles required more steps.

I also would have appreciated if this game was a big more unique from portal. The environment, comedic style, door opening buttons and launch pads and laser cubes felt unoriginal. Even the conveyors and jump pads were like the orange and blue liquid from Portal.

But all of that would be forgiven if the puzzles were challenging at all. I was bored going through the paces just to advance the story. Maybe some of the user generated content is challenging, but the campaign was terribly underwhelming.

The game play is refined, ideas are good. The story is interesting but had a lot more juice to get from it, I was a bit underwhelmed because the build up was great. The puzzles can be a bit repetitive and easy in general, but that's ok, it's a puzzle game.
I'd give a 7/10.
Forgot to say, it's Ureal Engine, getting used to it's graphics can take a bit: a very noisy rendering or a blurry mess. You choose. Performance is good though.

从始至终，the entory centre就是一次对portal的拙劣模仿。一款糟糕的解谜游戏究竟是什么样的，在此前我没有一个定论，自此我有了一个较为清晰的参照。
不论是逻辑自洽程度，还是沙盒里物理的自由程度，以及整体谜题的设计水准，都完完全全无法和他想要模仿的那个游戏看齐，只能说我们都看到了portal的影子，或者说，这种既视感强烈到盖过这个游戏自身的风格。
游戏具体落实到机制上时，想当然的成分也高于整体逻辑，时间枪的回溯很明显只针对泛着黄光、挂载了脚本的gameobject，而这段回溯貌似有一个三十秒的上限，那又该如何解释一眼荒废已久坍塌的楼梯可以凭借时间枪回到原本的样子？很明显是设计师对于时间枪一事的一时兴起，完全没有经过更深层考量的、画蛇添足的合理化设计。除此之外，时间枪可以交互的物品少得可怜，无力感贯穿始终。
在回溯过程中的物体没有任何碰撞体积（只有激光块在回溯过程中依然射出激光），我不知道这是技术问题，还是他们经历了某种严肃的思考得出的结论，但这样的结果除了让人出戏之外，还就此抹杀了一整条谜题设计的可能线路（当然如果保留了回溯物体的物理效果，必然会无限放大玩家的自由程度，在塞尔达王国之泪一事上足以见得，关卡设计的要求必然更加苛刻）。
关卡设计讲求形式追随功能，熵值中心恰恰相反。因为设计师真的很想要传送门的风味，于是选择了拥有大落差的实验室作为chamber，但传送门之所以采用这样的形式，是因为传送门保留动量的核心机制所致，而本作已经自断一臂，把回溯中的物体设计成量子幽灵，最终导致他不得不一再引入诸如弹射方块发射平台这样强硬的元素来适配他高大而立体的房间，最终所有的互动元素都变成了Portal里的同素异形体。
场景布置也是尤其粗糙，如果真的觉得一个可以互动的排球困难到无法实现，那就不应该在玩家的必经之路上放一个硬的像花岗岩防撞球一样的排球模型在地上，真的让人哭笑不得。
还有差劲的3c，粘滞阻塞的移动和跳跃，没有丝毫的轻盈和敏捷，无法即时响应解谜游戏中玩家的思考，我不是一个厉害的解谜玩家，但我始终认为纯解谜游戏的操作反馈应当是极其迅速的，当存在玩家处于等待角色完成指令这一过程，我就认为此游戏的控制是过慢的（很不幸的是，不少的解谜游戏都有这样的毛病，在逻辑解密中依旧普遍存在）。而本游戏又设置了不算少量的平台跳跃内容，更放大了3c部分的缺点。
更别提我们通常追求的eureka时刻，在这样的重重危机之下，发灵感的火花又能从何处迸发呢？

Fica extremamente chato e repetitivo depois de um tempo e é quase uma cópia de Portal Reloaded, tipo o jogo é bom, mas ele só se torna mais um depois que você joga portal (sei que é errado dar uma review comparando com outro jogo, mas é impossível, e esse jogo aqui só existe porque Portal existe também kk) Enfim, o jogo é bom mas ele fica meio chato depois. Acho que de puzzle tem vários outros que se sairiam bem melhor. Também é meio paia ter que ficar lendo um monte de texto e que você se sente meio perdido se não ler. Vibe do bendy 2 lá (jogo merda inclusive o bendy and the ink machine 2). Enfim, pontos positivos, o jogo é muito bonito visualmente, e é bem chilling, com uns puzzles bem confortáveis, nada de muito complicado, eu recomendo

Les énigmes sont bonnes et en quantité, l'alchimie entre Aria et Astra marche bien. Pour l'histoire et son mystère je trouve malheureusement qu'il manque quelque chose, ça fini sans vraiment conclure. Du coup la plupart de nos questions n'ont pas de réponse. Très dommage qu'il n'y ai pas de secret, comme des zones accessibles seulement en utilisant des cubes volés lors d'énigme, qui va bien avec ce genre de jeu. [spoiler] et non les messages dans ordi ne comptent pas [/spoiler].

C'est un bon jeu en conclusion mais il y aurait pu avoir un peu plus.

I had this game on my wishlist since it came out because it gave me portal vibes and I LOVE portal. I purchased while it was on sale and I would say it certainly it quenched my need for something new and portal like since I've solved those puzzles many times. This game also makes you think about more than the puzzles, the story line and the idea around the "why" is really, really good. All in all, if you enjoy puzzle games that have an actual story line with a well written script, this is 100% the game for you.

I really liked this game, is quite short but, honestly, its really good, the puzzles are hard near the end like a real game should be, directions didnt make sense for me but then i realised i was quite stupid, But honestly this game, Deserves to be played.

There probably wont be a TEC 2 but, from what i know, the end of the world is caused by ai, they cant shut it down on earth because the Entropy Centre station, IS, the cause, AI in it, the bots and ASTRA , we might need to shutdown ASTRA and E , but , a good ending for this game would be deserved, and if there WERE a TEC 2 , 2 rewinds left for the world, maybe the second to last rewind TEC 2 and DLC would be the last rewind saving the earth?

But that probably wont happen, like Gravitas not getting a Gravitas 2.

great story and ending, but the characters and dialog are complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Every good aspect of the story is delivered through the environment and the gameplay.

Puzzles are decent, but are a bit buggy at times, and probably could have used a little more playtesting.

Was für ein tolles und schönes Spiel. Da haben sich die Entwickler sehr viel mühe gemacht. Ich bin sehr begeistert von den Spiel. Die Rätsel sind am Anfang sehr leicht aber steigern sich dann. So hat man viel Spass daran die zu knacken.
Das Spiel erinnert mich sehr an Portal was auch sehr toll ist, die beiden Games haben viel gemeinsam. Die Musik ist toll und die Grafik ist auch mega. Die Steuerung vom den Spiel ist auch sehr gut.
Alles im ganzen bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Spiel. Einer der besten Spiele überhaupt was ich letzter Zeit so geholt habe. An diesen Spiel gibt es überhaupt nicht Negatives im gegenteil. Ein absolutes geiles Game. Für Portal Fans eine sehr gute Alternative.

Beautiful puzzle game with interesting story. My only issue with this game is that sometimes puzzles can get really tricky, In my opinion difficulty level of these is inconsistent.
Speaking of the things that I really liked...
The graphics looks really cool, especially in those "golden moments", I like the environmental changes, overgrown parts of the center etc.
The storyline was good, with a little mysterious ending.
Overall 7/10, great job devs!

Portal auf Whish bestellt wäre hier noch geprahlt. Achtung massive Spoiler:
In den ersten Leveln wird einem alles vorgekaut und man darf die Kinderleichten Rätsel gefühlt nach Anleitung lösen. Danach bleibt das ganze Game sehr linear, man kann zwar hier und da etwas mehr Story bekommen wenn man sich umschaut, aber das war es dann leider auch. Die Rätsel können meist nur so gelöst werden wie es angedacht ist, die Kreativität kommt hier zu kurz.
Dafür sind die Rätsel im vergleich zu Portal und den Mods dafür eher einfach bis mittel.
Die beiden schlimmsten Punkte die mich dazu gebracht haben das ganze hier nicht zu empfehlen sind zum einen die grottige Steuerung, die keinerlei Präzision zulässt; man kann Sachen zwar zurück spulen, aber nicht vorwärts um etwas genau auszurichten. Dann die Passagen mit den Sprüngen, bei denen man einfach nur Glück braucht um genau da zu landen wo man hin will, weil das Fadenkreuz ist da eher Deko hab ich das Gefühl.
Dann kommen noch die Kämpfe; die sollen sicher für etwas Abwechslung sorgen, aber wenn mir permanent unendlich viele Gegner nachspawnen, dann ist das nur noch frustrierend, da man nicht mal mit einem Würfel 2 Meter gehen kann ohne diesen fallen lassen zu müssen, da man sonst durch das "intelligente" autoaim immer nur den Würfel im Visier hat und nicht den Gegner. (Egal wie sehr auf diesem das Fadenkreuz ruht)

Spoiler free review of the Game

this Game is very Good and well worth the money in my view especially if you enjoy puzzle games. the campaign is not too long with me finishing it in just above 8 hours but since there are custom levels there is probably lots of content to be created, played and enjoyed. The Gameloop is very fun with a constant change between puzzle levels and more action packed levels although pretty much every level can be beaten in under 20 minutes. The story is nothing special but still fun and interesting with a good buildup to the end and messages you can find on the computers that hint at what may have happened to all the other people in the facility and also tell some fun side stories that arent nececarily needed but add some fun side stories. and lastly and in my opinion one of the best parts the music and sound design because damn the music in this game is just absolute peak the mysterious and quiet music in the puzzle areas to the creepy sound design of the late mid game and the techno style soundtrack of the action scenes it all fits perfectly and is on point.

In conclusion 9/10 a really amazing game that is very polished besides a few minor mistakes that you probably wont even notice while playing. the Game loop, story and other aspects of the game are very intruiging and fun and while the story isnt the longest there is plenty of user mode content to be explored

Затея игры прикольная, именно поэтому я и решил взять ее по скидке, но она очень однотипная и когда ты понимаешь уже как все должно быть, то эта игра становится очень легкой и надоедливой своей однотипностью. Я бы советовал эту игру, только на один вечер, так как она почти полностью проходится за это время.

It is easier than portal 2 for the first 3 hours...but the concept is solid. Haven't tried any custom levels, for $4.00 on sale it is a steal! Fun game, great personalities and great writing, optimized very well. Can't wait to see what else it has to show me.

Ну что скажу. Чтобы сильно не обидеть и не соврать. Игра прикольная. чем то напоминает местами механику ДВУХ частей портал. Однако стиль головоломок чуть проще и игровой процесс длиннее. Немного поднадаедает, в итоге миг раскрывается как в игре Талос. В обще. Рекомендовать рекомендую, а как лично вам... Зайдет или уйдет решать не мне. Пошол дальше играть. Хочу пройти до конца.

I initially bought this game because i searched for games that are like portal.
But this game, to my suprise is like portal, but with way more stunning visuals and also a diffrent type of tool. In portal you have Portals, and here you have an enropy device that can rewind time for specific objekts. There is the connection to entropy. But the story goes way deeper than that and im shoked by how true to itself the plot stays over the for me 10 hours long play time.

I can realy only recommend this game and think it takes the edge even over the Portal games,

Les énigmes sont relativement faciles mais par contre assez frustrantes pour certaines étant donné le manque de finition ; les objets ne tombant pas proprement à l'endroit voulu ou ne s'activant pas correctement (comme les sauts).
Vous affronterez aussi des robots et on préfèrera oublier cette partie qui n'est pas vraiment intéressante.

UNE seule musique d'ambiance pour tous les puzzles ! Bon à part celle-là il y a d'autres pistes mais elles sont plutôt rompiches et ça se réveille vraiment lors des moments émotions et des combats.

Plaisante à suivre mais sans spoiler, la fin vous décevra peut-être ou pas, car certains rebondissements sont plus marquants que la toute fin.

Une dizaine d'heures si vous bloquez sur certains puzzles, et il existe un mode créateur et plein de maps de la communauté.

Une bonne expérience qui peut rebuter vu les premières difficultés (et le fait de penser à l'envers), mais accrochez-vous car aucune énigme n'est insurmontable et on passe un bon moment en général.

I got this game because it looked similar to Portal which I am a huge fan of and I liked the initial idea of time mechanics. Up until about puzzle rooms 07XX, I was okay with the speed at which the rooms were solvable - the R command to cancel the previous rewind memory was never explained, I had to see that in a guide to figure out that useful option. But around room cluster 07 and 08, I got burnt out. The puzzles become arduous, unintuitive slogs and they aren't fun to solve. I was trying and eventually just resorted to guides so I could get to the story which was FAR more interesting to me. But even that had its limit, as the pacing and sense of urgency are grievously misapplied and mismatched to how far you are in the story.

Interactivity is hit and miss. There were plenty of email files I was trying to collect that I hit the interact key and it skipped the emails entirely and just counted them as collected. By area 1001 I just wanted the thing to end. I had been in for 6.5 hours now. The game overstayed its welcome 3 zones ago. But I pushed through. Even with the zone where there's a collision detection issue the devs never fixed. I must be close to the end now, right? (No, there's 15 of these grueling jobs. These are now tasks. And it was about this time I uninstalled this POS and just watched walkthroughs until the end of the game.)

... and the ending I was really curious about was awful. I firmly believe a great ending can save a bad game and a bad ending can ruin a great game. This horrible ending just executed the mediocre game it was attached to. I hate that I spent too much time trying to see if the game ever improved instead of getting my money back.

I don't know how this game got as high of review scores as it does. I can't recommend this game. Every time you hope it gets better, it just drags on, introducing way too many new things when it should be winding down the story, trying to justify its 19.99 original purchase price. It goes on way too long with way too poor pacing in its story beats and tries WAY too damn hard to be Portal (and fails). If you think you may like the puzzle type (reversing boxes in time to hit buttons or lasers or whatever), please wait for it to be on sale. I got it at 80% off and it looks like that's the lowest it's been. Do that.

This game is a game that games, you know? its a certain puzzle game to games the mechanics of entropy, and at certain points can be brain melting (in a mostly good way) thinking of the solution. Or you can be like me who was blind and missed several key components of the puzzle, like I was missing 10 pieces of a 100 piece puzzle, but I looked on the floor and found them, and was able to complete the cycle once again.

TLDR: It's just like Portal 2 with two big differences - very different main mechanic and much more cringe dialogue. But that still means that this is an amazing game!

From the very beginning, you can't escape the Portal 2 comparisons. You wake up in an abandoned research facility and you're tasked to solve puzzles by an AI sidekick. The game basically plays just like Portal 2 (and that's a good thing).

The main mechanic is a gun that rewinds objects in time. That allows for some quite interesting puzzle design. Unlike in Portal 2, it's not that much about the movement of the player, but more about the movement (and interactions) of puzzle elements. As expected, the puzzles start rather simple (like moving a box onto a pressure plate) and very gradually ramp up in difficulty, though it never gets insanely hard. Every cca. 5 puzzles, a new mechanic is introduced adding some variance to the solutions. Some mechanics are familiar (lasers, lifts), some quite unique (foldable boxes, rivers).

Another big strength of the game are the environments. The research facility is beautiful! You have plants overgrowing the puzzle areas, offices, common spaces. There's a lot of attention to detail, a lot of environmental storytelling. You can see how the people used to live there, you can read their emails, you can watch onboarding slide shows for newjoiners, ... it is all very immersive. Often the environments provide their own puzzles in between the proper "puzzle rooms" and often this involves something collapsing and you repairing it by rewinding it in time.

One notable negative on the whole game is the super cringe dialogue between the protagonist and the AI sidekick, like ...
"Hey, this door doesn't open."
"Would you like me to file an IT ticket?"
"No. I don't think anybody is alive to read the IT ticket."
"Understood. Helpfulness attitude reduced by 50%."

But a cringe dialogue doesn't ruin a beautiful and original puzzle game, so for me this is an easy recommendation!

Nothing short of a beautiful game with a beautiful message to come with it. As I played through the game it's quite clear that it takes inspiration from portal in almost every aspect but it does it so well with the new mechanic of the entropy gun that genuinely made me stop and think about how I would solve a puzzle as I sent it back through time. On top of the amazing game mechanics the setting and lore to find all around the place is also amazingly done, certain sections where I scratch my head saying how am I going to get through this and others where I read an email and then notice the small details about the surroundings that play into the email are awesome too and made me laugh many times. I bought this game while it was on sale for $5 and I would say that potentially even for its full price it is probably still worth the money but for me I feel like I got more than my money's worth. Absolutely fantastic game 10/10.

Bulmaca mekanikleri olarak da, mizahi yön açısından da, liminal mekan olarak da Portal'la iyi yönden benzeşiyor.
Atmosfer ve seslendirme olarak da başarılı.

Mekanlar ve bulmacalar bazı yerlerde tekrara düşüyor, bazı sorunlu platforming kısımları var ancak oyunun tek bir kişi tarafından geliştirildiğini düşününce bu kadarını bile başarması inanılmaz. Sağlam bir ekiple Portal seviyesinde bir oyun olabilirmiş.

Definitely the best spiritual successor to Portal type game I've played. Reminded me a lot of Control in the visual style (read, fantastic), and even though it's UE4 it has that source engine feel (meant positively). Ran well, wish it had more modern AA options but not a major gripe, not sure I really get the story but it was compelling, interesting, and drove the game along very well. Overall worth the price and it's a steal on sale. Also, even though you don't go there, the fact that it had directions to the arboretum brought back fond memories of Prey and Bioshock, just kinda one of those things that tells you you're in good company. Only had issues with one puzzle, and I think that was more because I was trying to finish the game on stream and couldn't just set it down to rest for a bit, but that doesnt mean they others were too easy either, good balance.
