It's a good game overall. I think 15 dollars is a bit much for the playtime, so you might want to wait until it's on sale, but the gameplay is good and I think the artstyle is charming. I do wish in the later levels it showed an arrow for the remaining enemies though, later levels are a big bigger and it takes a moment to search for any stragglers.

With a title like The Ambassador: Fractured Timelines (AFT), I'd expect gameplay that'd be less combat-oriented, what with diplomacy being the tools of an ambassador. In this case though, to Hell with that, because you can momentarily pause time. It's true manipulating time is useful for fighting, but many stages don't revolve that much around the central gimmick.

Interestingly enough, AFT is a twin-stick shooter, and a nice feature is that you always have two weapons handy. Ironically, your classic melee weapons, such as swords or axes, are thrown at enemies, and return like a boomerang. Magic attacks also act as projectiles, but you have limited mana. There's another type of magic you wield, which allows you to temporarily pause time, yet this meter is much smaller than your mana reserves. Although AFT looks like a title that'd include leveling up or RPG elements, that's not the case. As you beat levels, you'll occasionally get a new piece of equipment, but instead of something with outright better stats, they'll have new properties. For instance, being able to charge up the wand so it can hit up to three enemies at once.
Sadly, I wasn't having a bad time playing through the stages. More often than not, my methodical approach was letting me clear every situation on my first attempt. Sometimes, an enemy just beyond the edge of the screen fired at me, but usually if they could fire at me, I could also kill them. Unfortunately, the factor that ruins the experience are the boss fights, because the combat gets thrown out of whack. My guess is that the developers realized things weren't balanced well in a few situations, so they offered assisted difficulty as an option. However, you can't switch back and forth during a playthrough, and when starting a new file, they recommend standard instead, “Don't you believe it!”

Due to the scaling, even aiming for enemies at a distance isn't too precise or difficult. I certainly missed plenty of shots, but it'd only take minor tweaks to fix my aim, and kill the enemy my next attempt. There are a decent number of inputs to keep in mind with all your abilities, but it's mapped out intelligently, so it isn't too hard to keep track of.

Despite reading everything during the tutorial, I didn't catch that much information about the time lord, the council, my mentor, or all the key factions at play. Reading the optional lore books led to a similar issue, as I just wasn't invested enough to pay attention. Instead of focusing on interesting events, it spends too much time talking about things like one group's deity over another, “They worship nature. I'm sure that'll matter so much when I have to kill their boss.”

I feel like I've seen a few games with this visual style, between the medieval setting, and a pixelated basis. Even the flat or bland looking faces from not having enough details to work with seems familiar. That seems to be the trade-off from this style, as the backgrounds look perfectly fine, but it's hard to design NPCs that have any character or distinct features. At least elements like trees are given enough differences from one another it's not merely a repetitive mosaic of identical tiles. Designing enemies so that you can easily distinguish one type against another is also helpful, “Those weaklings can be taken out with a quick swipe. I better retreat against that behemoth though.”
[h1]Sound Design[/h1]
From what I've heard in other action games like this, I'd expect fast-paced tunes, and perhaps aggressive instrumentation backing it up. However, I find the soundtrack for AFT somewhat shy of that mark. If anything, it starts off quite mellow, so much so I might even call it thought-provoking music, as a decent number of the songs have a slower pace, able to calmly fade into the background. Over time, it becomes faster and more dramatic, but they don't necessarily scream combat to me. In my own imagination, it might be part of someone's developing scheme, or an intense argument. Having found the songs on YouTube, I'd actually recommend checking them out if you enjoy instrumental music. Regarding the sound effects, perhaps it's because you throw your weapons, but they don't have the usual strength to their attacks landing as I'm used to.

🔍 When you get to later levels in a region, it's not a terrible idea to run around getting an idea of what's around you, and then restarting. There's no penalty for dying, so knowing what's coming up is a worthwhile trade.
🔍 Using the armor that provides four hearts helps significantly, because surviving is all that really matters. Plus, you can save your food by not healing, and making use of the free heal at the portal.
🔍 I rarely ran out of mana, as I wasn't relying that much on my magic attacks. Unless you go ham, you'll likely have plenty to spare, so don't be stingy when you need it.
[h1]Final Thoughts[/h1]
Unbeknownst to me, choosing standard ruined my attempted playthrough of AFT, and it's all due to the priestess boss. Theoretically, all you have to do is activate eight lights at once, and it'll spawn one of three crystals needed to break her armor. No matter how many times I tried to do this, completely ignoring the damage I was taking, I couldn't hit all the targets at once. Even when I'd use the time stop and tried everything imaginable, it wouldn't work properly. This made me feel like I was spinning my wheels, because I swear that all of them had been hit, and should currently be active. If the game disagrees though, it doesn't matter, because I can't even begin fighting this boss. Unfortunately, I didn't get this game directly through Steam, or else I'd be under the two hour limit, and I'd refund it.

It really should have just been a boss rush similar to Titan Souls, taking down bigger enemies feels great. Killing masses of smaller ones just feels like a grind. Worse than Undertale's Genocide run, even, and that was made it feel bad.
Must use controller if it is plugged in, which is annoying. Quit when I got a barrel stuck in a door, and couldn't find any more enemies to kill on the stage, anyways.

[h1] Story [/h1] Wir spielen einen Mann namens Gregor und werden gerade zu einem Botschafter ausgebildet. Ein Botschafter ist hier im Prinzip ein Magier der die Fähigkeit hat die Zeit kurzzeitig anzuhalten. Als wir gerade unser Training beendet haben, gibt es plötzlich eine Explosion und nur wir und unsere Ausbilderin (schwer verletzt) überleben. Sie gibt uns nun die Aufgabe durch 3 Portale zu reisen und herauszufinden wer für diese Explosion verantwortlich ist und diesen zu richten
[h1] Gameplay [/h1] Ich habe das Spiel mit einem Controller gespielt. Wie es sich mit Maus & Tastatur spielt kann ich also nicht sagen. Es ist ein typischer Twin Stick/Top Down Shooter. Mit dem Linken Stick bewegen wir unseren Charakter und mit dem Rechten Stick bewegen wir das Fadenkreuz. Als Waffen haben wir einmal eine Reguläre Waffe wie z.B. eine Armbrust, eine Axt oder ein Schwert usw. und einmal eine Magische Waffe wie z.B. einen Stab oder ein Magisches Schwert. Die Reguläre Waffe funktioniert wie ein Boomerang, heisst wir müssen immer warten bis sie zu uns zurückkommt um erneut feuern zu können. Die magische Waffe lässt sich solange abfeuern bis unser Mana Leer ist. Mana regeneriert sich über zeit aber wieder. Die Waffen & auch die Rüstungen lassen sich nach und nach freischalten nach Abschließen der einzelnen Level und man kann diese jederzeit im Spiel wechseln. Zusätzlich können wir auch jederzeit die Zeit um uns herum anhalten um Geschossen oder Fallen kurzzeitig anzuhalten und/oder auszuweichen. Dieses Feature fand ich sehr gut gemacht. Die Level selbst sind immer sehr kurz gehalten und die meisten Gegner sind One Shot oder Höchstens mit 2 Schüssen platt. Es gibt aber auch Elite Gegner die solange Unverwundbar sind (wird angezeigt durch ein Weißes Schild Symbol) bis sie eine gewisse Attacke oder Aktion machen was sie Verwundbar macht. Dies wird dann durch ein Rotes Schwert Symbol angezeigt. Jede Welt hat am Ende auch einen Boss welcher immer eine bestimmte Mechanik benötigt um ihn zu besiegen. Diese sind aber recht simpel und schnell herauszufinden. Es gibt in einigen Leveln auch Collectibles in Form von Büchern zu finden welche die Geschichte der Lore erzählen. Dies Collectibles sind recht gut versteckt und man muss teilweise versteckte Pfade oder Portale finden um an sie heranzukommen Die Musik ist ebenfalls gut gelungen
[h1] Achievement Schwierigkeit 7/10 [/h1] Es gibt insgesamt 24 Erfolge. Einige bekommt man beim regulären durchspielen automatisch. Für andere muss man z.B. alle 20 Collectibles (Bücher) finden, einen Goldenen Dinosaurier finden, alle Level beenden ohne etwas zu essen (heilen), alle Fässer & Kisten im Spiel zerstören. Einige gibts dann noch fürs töten von Gegnern mit speziellen Waffen wie z.B. mit dem Feuerschwert einen Gegner töten und dann 3 weitere durch die Brennende Leiche laufen lassen usw. Die 3 Schwierigsten Erfolge sind wohl alle Level beenden ohne Schaden zu nehmen, alle Level in einer bestimmten Zeit schaffen (Speedrun) & im Arena Modus 10 Wellen überstehen. Da braucht man schon eine Hohe Frustresistenz und viel Geduld für

I'd recommend it on sale. It's a decently difficult, fairly balanced top down arcade shooter.
Just be warned, it's capped at 30fps. This coupled with visual spam from the enemy attacks can make the later levels frustrating.

I would mostly recommend this game. The controls are pretty simple to learn. Graphically it looks good and I can tell where I can go quite well. The only issue it the sudden curve in difficulty only on the last boss. I would still recommend it even with that issue.
I dont usually play twin stick shooters because I normally suck at them. Indeed, the final boss in this game took me many many attempts. However, that doesn't mean I dont enjoy them when I do.
I dont have many games under my belt to compare this to, but I really loved the slow-down-time mechanic and the weapon/wand choices. It felt like I could take each level at my own pace by picking enemies off with a crossbow and slowing down time when things got too crazy.
Loved the art, music, length and difficulty curve of the game. Really solid. Genuinely does feel a bit like a hidden gem.

The Ambassador: Fractured Timelines is overall mediocre and lacks variety in game play. It's a good enough game for a single run if you get it in a bundle or dirt cheap but it does very little to stand out. The time freeze mechanic and throwing weapons as bullets are its strongest parts but it plays out a lot duller than the trailer suggests since the unfavorable field of view turns the twin-stick shooter it into a dragging avoid'em up. I couldn't force myself to play it a second time, but it's not exactly my flavor either. 2/5

A neat game for sure, though I can't recommend it due to some frustrating and glaring flaws, particularly 1. the ability to click out of game while unpaused and engaged in gameplay and 2. Enemies shooting from off-screen. These 2 flaws make this game FEEL so unfair
I can't really recommend this game unless on a steep discount (currently 80%, guess it's alright for a few dollars). Firstly, the controls are "OK" - some inconsistency with the trigger button behind held down vs having to spam it. Secondly the graphics are really mediocre for a modern game (from a design perspective, the models are missing shadows and so sometimes it's difficult to tell the enemies from the background). I like retro pixel art, but the characters and movement don't "pop". Lastly, the difficulty ramp leans heavily on the unfair side. The game is relative easy if you play carefully (which you need to stop doing and try to constantly use your time ability). What makes this game feel unfair are the levels where it becomes an un-dodgeable bullethell. There are levels enemies will shoot your from off-screen, or stun-lock you, or have untelegraphed projectiles appearing near you. The last boss level is a series of ridiculously mechanically broken fights. The story is cliche and boring, and between messy graphics, the bland upgrade options and overall bad enemy design, can't recommend this game.

关于最后一把武器——我在完成了“the lord of time”成就的同时达成了全成就，随后自动获得了最后一把武器。但之前翻评论区的时候见过一名大佬说他是在完成血腥圆笼相关成就后获得的最后一把武器，所以我个人认为最后一把武器的获得条件其实是达成全成就。

I would gave it a thumbs down, because the end boss is just ridiculous hard and there is no option to make it easier. I understand that the game gets heavier as you progress, but putting this amount of enemies with a boss who constantly follows you and throwing swords at you, is not that fun. Especially because you are happy to get the first map.. the second.. but wait five maps without having a chance to get additional heal?! Especially in a game where hit boxes are sometimes questionable.
But the rest of the game is quite enjoyable. Graphics and sound design are fine, nyou get new weapons and armor for different needs and you can exchange them during fights. Also the time freezing mechanic is unique. It replaces the meanwhile common dodge rolls. It has bosses with nice ideas.
A bit more tutorial for some mechanics would be nice, for example that the moving rocks can destroy each other and that you can charge up the movement of some object while freezing the time.
Those who complain about dull gameplay. What you see is what you get. Every Hack & Slay game or TwinStick Shooter is just about clicking and moving.
Be aware that the last boss [strike]can[/strike] will be frustrating. But otherwise good game.
ヒゲおやじが主人公の、時間停止物・クラシック・レトロ・ツインスティックシューター。うちの環境ではコントローラーでしか操作できなかった。
爽快感もクソもない、無駄にストレスが貯まる要素が多く、端的に言えばつまらなかったので、とりあえずボスを1体倒した所で中断。
ゲームはシンプルにステージクリア型で、それぞれ複数ステージからなる3つの国を攻略していく。
基本的には、スイッチや時間停止を使ったギミックをどうにかしつつ敵を全滅→次のステージへ進む→繰り返し→ボスを倒してクリアの流れ。
ボスは当然として、スキをつかなければ攻撃が通らない強ザコ敵がわりと出てくる。
攻撃は物理武器と、自然回復するマナを消費して発射できる魔法（杖）の二種。
物理武器は、投擲もしくは射出で、すべて間接攻撃。発射後、自動で手元に戻ってくるまでがセット。ブーメランのような挙動だが、ダメージ判定があるのは行きがけのみ。一部、自分で拾わなければ帰ってこない重量武器などもある。
魔法は連発できて弾速も早いので強いが、マナの回復は遅いので撃ち放題とはいかない。
防具は、見た目と性能に違いがある。時間停止ゲージの回復が早くなるもの、HPは低いが移動速度が早くなるもの、など。
ゲームを進めていくと、それぞれ性能が違う様々な装備が手に入る。バリエーションはそれなりに多そう。

For me it was hard to relate to the characters or game environment, it got an interesting concept but nothing that intrigue me enough to keep playing the game. This is one of those games that it is well done, so it pains me to "not recommend it", it is not a bad game, either a good one.

Dans le cadre de mon émission sur twitch, j'ai eu l'occasion de tester The Ambassador.
J'ai bien aimé l'humour et le pixel art est sympa.
Cependant attention a la difficulté qui peut en surprendre certains.
Le jeu offre de bonnes sensations et il est très agréable a parcourir !
Je recommande.

Графика простенькая пиксельная. Музыка не напряжная, не мешает.
Сюжет есть, но не сильно мудреный.
Управление простое, легче играть на клава+мышь, чем геймпад.
Сама игра тоже не сложная, все проходится без проблем.
Полное прохождение занимает примерно 4-5 часов.
Большая часть ачивок сюжетные, или требуют минимальных усилий, но ради некоторых придется помучаться и перепроходить игру.

Der erste Bossfight war mir schon zu nervig.Fand jetzt nichts besonders an dem Game.
When I completed this game and exited it, I was redirected to a website asking to write a review. I think the developers assumption is that players who completed the game must have enjoyed it. That was not the case for me.
Had I not been prompted to write a review, I probably would have just moved on. This game is OK, I didn't hate the time I spent playing it. I think the level design was nice. The difficulty curve is about perfect. The game ramped up nicely, and the final boss was the hardest encounter, as it should be. Also, blessedly, it was fairly short.
That said, it's not great either. The weapons lack variety and none of them feel quite right. The time slowing mechanic is derivative and uninteresting. The story is an absolute travesty.
The Ambassador: Fractured Timelines is solid two and half stars. There are better ways to spend your time.
great lil game. was a blast with the perfect difficulty. tore my hair out at a few points but just the right amount! buy on sale, and have a good 10 hours or so (depending on how good you are of course!)
Honestly pretty meh. Kinda jank, and fairly boring. It's just way too easy. Melee weapons are infinitely better than magic. The only times I bothered using magic is for spamming attacks on a boss (as it's slightly faster than a melee attack, until you get some of the better melee gear like the daggers or crossbow) and for breaking boxes. The only boss who was even somewhat of a challenge was the Time lord, as he basically just spams the entire arena with bullets. This was also the only time I felt compelled to change my gear during a fight, as I would just switch back and forth between the bakers armor (so i can recover more health) and the purple armor (don't remember the name, but it lets you regain your time stopping energy much more quickly). I of course never bothered to use my magic at this point, as stopping time and spamming daggers basically depletes more than half of his health. I'll say the story was... kinda interesting. But I knew nothing about the guy who ultimately ended up as time lord, so I had no real reason to even care about him or the other lady. I did laugh pretty hard at the city being blown up though.
It's just so boring, I can't be bothered to go back and grind all the achievements (which involves various challenges like surviving 10 waves in arena mode and finding hidden lore books).

Now you pick a piece of armor. Now a sword ax flicky thingy and you flick flick toss toss schwing until the baddies die in an explosion of gore. Plewp! Wonderful
Most of the game is decent, the time bubble ability is fun enough to overcome its glaring flaws. because it does have flaws. invincible enemies walk over to the only thing that hurts them and cover up the hitbox, the hunger mechanic is interesting but tedious to grind back up when you hit later levels. and in many cases you're basically dead if you're hit, because invincibility frames seem to be tied only to individual hitboxes, so 3 different shots hitting you at once instant-kills you. more common than you'd think when an enemy blasts 6 homing shots that're faster than you. Still, has enough variety to keep things interesting.
It's just the second game where I've actually gotten to the final boss and went "yeah that's enough." 6 phase fight, no invincibility frames, you have a heal but if you use it there's a good chance you'll be killed by it. and while in most bullet hells I feel like it's me who's not skilled enough, this game makes me feel like my failures are its fault and my victories are partially just luck. I got to the last phase first try, and when I died just went "Eh, not worth doing that again."
Really good so far. Aiming is a little rough with the Deck, but the option for aim assist has helped a lot.
如果没有辅助模式的话，我估计我应该会卡在女祭司和最终BOSS那里，辅助模式下点灯也很折磨了。
辅助模式下可能不用俩小时就能通关。中规中矩的一款作品，可以试试，但也不是强烈推荐。

不知道為什麼會把這片MC評分機構不足的列入Wishlist ，也忽略了Steam 只有顯示21則評論（90%好評，但母數太低），就踩雷了。
遊戲機制簡介：雙搖桿射擊遊戲-以投擲迴旋鏢的方式投出各種武器，或是換成法杖用有限的MP發射魔法，可以短暫的暫停時間，可以累積肉品在身上隨時補血。
不喜歡的理由：
等待武器回來實在莫名奇妙，以近距離的方式（縮短武器回來時間）殺敵又不順，方向不對就無法連擊，以拉打方式遊玩遇上多數敵人就只能用暫停時間來躲。
菁英怪或BOSS要等他發完大招(衝撞到牆壁為止或是噴出一堆小怪)才能打，感覺非常拖延時間。
畫面醜，故事有但是感覺很敷衍。
「沒有雙搖桿射擊遊戲的爽感」，也沒發現其他吸引我的玩點。
就是L桿移動、R桿指定攻擊方向，RT投擲迴旋鏢或法術，LT時間暫停，X吃肉補血，RB-LB換武器。玩不出花樣…
我沒發現值得玩下去的理由，等待大神指正。
第一次負評，就開放留言讓開發者來為遊戲辯護吧。

What is preventing this game from allowing me to set it to 60 fps? Being capped at 30 for such a low pixel game where the camera is constantly moving hurts to look at.
Several game crashes in the final stage and boss fight.
My biggest complaint about the gameplay is you have to hunt down each and every enemy, even spawns, minions, and revived units, with no guide or tracker pointing you towards the last one or next closest enemy, then after all are dead you must search/wander around to find a portal to go to the next stage. All very boring.
The melee weapons only come back to you when you have them activated so you can't throw your weapon then switch to your magic while the melee is out doing its thing, you have to stick with one and wait.
Very uninspired game overall.
I'll state that I haven't finished the game yet, but I intend to. Users beware.
The game if fun and sort of has the same feel as N+. There are curated levels that have one solution per area. Note that it will be necessary to go back and forth between the portals to acquire more items that make the areas in other portals feasible. I think I like it, but there are many games that do what it does better. That isn't to say there's nothing to like here, just that the experience can be gotten from other games that will provide you a more positive experience overall.
At first this game seemed promising but soon my I noticed how blurry everything was, then I checked the framerate and I found the culprit. For some reason this game is 30 FPS, which is inexcusable for a modern game in my opinion. It looks terrible and personally it gives me a headache after a while.

It's a really fun game. It's also really difficult, it took me a lot of attempts on the final boss. It's paced well and has an interesting weapon system. Also the time stop mechanic is really well executed and flows well with the gameplay.
FracturedBooty.
Good enough top down shooter with some great pixel art. Plot is not great, but in my opinion it's not the focus of the game at all. The time stop mechanic is cool, and it helps keep the difficulty of the game manageable. The final boss is tremendously difficult if you don't use the right equipment and if you don't stock up on food, half of my playtime was spent on trying to beat the boss with wrong strategies.
The gameplay loop is tight and fun. If you make a mistake, you respawn at the start of your current level with no penalties. Definitely worth exploring and trying for yourself.
Edit: The Final boss makes me angry. Everything else was pretty sweet. The difficulty spike at the end is unforgiving.

The Ambassador brings you in gently, teaching you the base mechanics of the game before throwing you headfirst into the main meat of the story. There are four zones, each with their own number of levels, and five collectables that expand a little on the lore, for those interested. The game also challenges you to complete each level with four optional challenges that can be completed at your own pace.
After completing certain levels, you earn new weapons and armor that can change the way you play in certain situations, but there's nothing stopping you from hot-swapping in the middle of a fight, so you're not locked into any one playstyle, even in the thick of it.
At the end of every zone is a boss fight. A couple of them are a little obscure in how to deal damage to the boss, but once you've got everything down, it shouldn't take you too long.
Once you've completed the game, you get access to a wave survival mode (not unlike COD: Zombies) called "Bloodhenge", which gives you something to dip your feet into if you feel like coming back to the game after the story's over.
All in all, a fairly solid game that doesn't really outstay its welcome, and gives you enough to do that you won't feel bored at any point.
The fighting mechanics arn't great. The game is very simplistic. Nowhere near worth the price tag, worth a play if you get very cheap.

Man hat ziemlich schnell den dreh raus und durch den Schwierigkeitsmodus "Unterstützend" ist das Spiel auch angenehm zu Spielen. Ich muss aber dazu sagen, dass ich solche Art von Spiele überhaupt nicht leiden kann. Trotzdem die Leute von tinyDino hier ein witziges Spiel erschaffen, was an manchen stellen auch was wie ein Rätsel rüberkommt durch die Fähigkeit die Zeit zu stoppen.
Da ich im allgemein nicht soviel Ahnung von solchen Spielen habe gibt es einen Daumen hoch.

The Ambassador: Fractured Timelines is awesome fun. The ability to jump between the three worlds is great - as one gets too difficult you can jump to another and maybe pick up some weapons or armour that allow progress in the other worlds. Pixel art is gorgeous. Really well made.
Ambassador is a different take on the twinstick shooter genre. Features creative use of bullet time and some innovative weapon, enemy, and level designs to create a unique experience. Fresh and fun!

캐주얼한 트윈스틱 슈터 게임으로 시간을 잠깐 멈춘다 기믹 정도가 추가되었다.
난이도는 쉬운편으로 대체적으로 슈팅보다 퍼즐에 가까운 느낌이다.

The gameplay itself is very addictive and enjoyable, with a fair amount of challenge (at least playing without assisted mode). As I did not try assisted mode, I cannot speak on the level of fun in that mode.
The game clearly draws a lot of inspiration from disparate fantasy properties. It also draws inspiration for gameplay from Dark Souls type games, emphasizing attack patterns and usage of various weapon abilities to surpass each challenge. The game is very fair, once you use your brain to figure out what is the optimal way to tackle an area. Good reflexes and skill with a controller certainly help as well.
Fantastic music. Interesting characters, locales, and enemies. Very forgettable and skim-able story. If you're here, it's for the atmosphere and gameplay.
NOTES
1. After I completed the game, it automatically (without my consent) opened up a page in my browser to (I guess) thank me for playing the game. I say I guess, because the page it linked me to wasn't working. Not only that, but Steam wouldn't let me close the game normally, and I had to force shutdown Steam to get it to close. I noticed the website only after forcing shutdown. I'm guessing if I had closed the website first, it would've let me close the game. Very creepy behavior from the devs, even if the intention behind it may have been benevolent.
2. There's an achievement for being vegan, but none for eating a piece of meat in every level (which I did). Don't forget in your rush to protect the animals, that you know absolutely nothing about the makeups of plant life (it's a burgeoning field, and we're finding out a lot of new information about how plants can think/feel/socialize). You may have been torturing and eating plants alive all your life, while championing the virtues of keeping animals safe from abuse (which I also happen to agree with).
3. My playtime is not accurate. After I "shut the game down" I left the room, and didn't realize they had opened up the page in my browser, and thereby left the game idling in the background. Take off maybe an hour of playtime and it'll be more accurate to my experience.

Una juego entretenido, lo más destacable es la habilidad de detener el tiempo que a medida que avanzas en la historia vas aprendiendo a usar, lo que hace que tenga una buena curva de dificultad hasta que llegas al jefe final en la que ya tenes que ser todo un maestro en el tema.
Sumado al control del tiempo podrás elegir entre una variedad de armas principal, secundaria y atuendo. Cada cosa con alguna característica que cambiará tu forma de combatir.
Tanto el diseño de los mundos y sus enemigos son bastante interesantes. Y la música es muy buena.
Realmente considero que vale la pena, aunque sea solo para probar la mecánica de combate.

This is just such a simplistic game, I don't see why it's rated so highly.. and it costs $15 to top it off?!
The combat is boring and repetitive. The gameplay doesn't seem to go anywhere special. For a game from 2020 this is unacceptable for me.
The loop is literally "Here are some enemies, go chase them all and click with your mouse on them". "You finished it. Here is the next level.". "Do this a few more times until you get to the boss". "Click on the boss when the red sword comes up". "Rinse and repeat".
Yea, no thanks.
The Ambassador: Fractured Timelines è un twin stick shooter molto arcade e godibile. Ha una curva di difficoltà ben bilanciata con delle sfide apprezzabili. La meccanica base del gioco prevede il blocco del tempo in una determinata area attorno al personaggio di gioco. Oltre questa abilita si può scegliere se fa lanciare armi bianca o utilizzare la magia per abbattere i nemici. Non è necessario padroneggiare la meccanica del tempo per completare il gioco ma sarà necessaria se si vogliono completare tutte le sfide. La storia è quanto basta per essere guardata e regala qualche piccolo colpo di scena anche se abbastanza scontato. Il gioco in se per se si lascia giocare senza troppe pretese e finisce abbastanza rapidamente ma almeno saprà regalare alcuni pomeriggi o serate piacevoli.
Sympathique petit jeu
I have no idea how this got in my library, but it's an awesome, short twin-stick shooter and I have no idea why it's not a renowned hit. Someone poured their heart into this, and it deserves to be played.
The first 10 minutes are a little slow, but the gameplay picks up pretty quick. The final boss is a straight-up[spoiler]Touhou fight against Al-Mualim from Assassin's Creed[/spoiler], which was tough but great.
I was about to give this game a Thumbs Up. The crash at the end made me switch to No. So, Negative Review.
Cool little game, pixel art bould be more detailed but overal not bad.
This game was fun enough. Very simple and satisfying. Combat was not that challenging most of the time, but sometimes it randomly was. Just find a few setups that work well for most situations. Final boss difficulty curve came out of nowhere, but after prepping up my food and taking a few cracks at him, it wasn't too hard.
The fighting reminds me of Wizards and Warriors a bit, the way the weapons fly out and come back. Graphics are nice. I really wish this game had some type of roll mechanic. I know it's not needed, but I felt as though I wanted to do it all of the time lol.
Didn't quite get the story, and the books didn't make much sense. It felt like an after thought, but that's okay. I appreciate the dev making an attempt.
Game is a bit pricey at full price for what I got out of it, but perhaps if you are the type who will work on all of the achievements, it would provide more value. I didn't feel like going back and finding all of the books or anything, so I just moved on. But on a decent sale, I'd pick it up with little thought because it's enough fun.

Das Spiel ist wirklich nicht gut. Die Pixelgrafik ist nett anzusehen, aber das war es auch schon.
Es ist ein Twin-Stick Shooter mit schlechten Gameplay. Man kann zwischen der Standardwaffe und dem Zauberstab wechseln, welcher schneller schießt, aber Mana verbraucht. Als kleinen Kniff kann man noch die Zeit um sich herum verlangsamen um einige Gegner auszutricksen. Das war es dann auch so ziemlich. Man kann Kisten kaputt machen und Heil-Items finden. Mehr gibt es darin nicht zu entdecken.
Das komplette Spiel besteht eigentlich nur aus einzelnen Leveln, die abgeschlossen sind, wenn man alle Gegner besiegt hat. Stirbt man dabei, startet man das Level erneut.
Das ganze ist leider sehr ereignislos, spielt sich nicht flüssig und hat zudem eine uninteressante Geschichte.
Spielzeit soll sich auf etwa 3 Stunden belaufen. Nun, ich habe etwa die Hälfte des Spiels gesehen, hatte keinen Spaß damit und somit sehe ich auch keinen Grund es weiter zu spielen.

C'est l'fun, mais c'est pas le jeu du siècle. Comme je dis souvent : en spécial oui, plein prix bof....
Super fun top down "shooter" (in quotes because no guns lol). The story is relatively simple, you're a time wizard and the local town got nuked so you gotta go find out why. Fair enough. The combat is fun and requires some thought. You need to utilize your different weapons aswell as your time-freeze to get through the levels. The art is pretty great for the (I think its 16 bit? 8 bit? idk) aesthetic they're going for. I'd definitely recommend if you enjoy these types of games.
A very good game to play through in an afternoon, it's a semi-forgiving bullet hell. I played through standard mode, but if you'd like to avoid frustration, the assisted mode included is nice.
The enemy variety is nice, and even though it's short, I'd definitely recommend grabbing this when it's on sale.

i honestly dont remember playing this but i guess i did cause i have the majority of the achievements. uhhh id think id remember if a game was bad so id say it was at least decent. probably short though. looks cute =]
玩起来挺爽的像素小游戏
I didn't enjoy the combat in this one and since that's the meat of the game I can't recommend it.
Primary attack is a slow moving spinning projectile that you have to wait to return to fire again. The slow movement means that it can take a really long time to return especially if you're moving backwards to avoid damage. The projectile also has an unpredictable hitbox so it will sometimes miss things you're aiming at nearly dead on, or bounce off things you thought you were clear of.
Secondary attack has a lot of charges but a long cooldown. It's good but can't be used as a replacement for primary. The time stop mechanic was fun and had interesting uses, probably the best part of the game.
You have to kill every enemy in the map to advance, and there's no minimap or any indicator of where the last enemies are so if you miss tiny bit of the map I hope you like backtracking. Maps are small but it's still annoying, most games get around this by giving you an arrow pointing to the enemies when you're down to 1 or 2 remaining.
The food mechanic is kind of annoying as well, in order to heal you store up food but to find food you have to kill the rare rabbits or break barrels for a low chance of food drops - and you can only break them with your magic attack (wasting charges) or a hammer that doesn't return so you have to walk to it to pick it up. I found myself leaving barrels to the end and if I needed food doing even more backtracking.
I did not enjoy combat and I find backtracking incredibly annoying. Not recommended.
