Terminator Resistance is true Terminator 3. Great original story which perfectly fits with T1 and T2. Devs absolutely nailed the atmosphere and mood of "future war" which was glimpsed briefly in films.
I've played on Extreme difficulty, and for the bigger part of the game, encounters with terminators were dangerous and tough.

Can't recommend it enough.

Terminator game where you can't even play as a terminator... (aside from one bonus mission) You are forced to play as human fleshbag and fight for the bad guys. I had some home that you could at least choose to switch sides to the good guys but no. Play the Robocop game instead, at least you get to be Robocop in that one. (Though not Robocop 2, which is shame)

游戏推荐打折入手，偏向系列粉丝的作品，武器弹道飘的很而且手感非常硬，人物建模也挺一般的，还有这个枪真的非常的刮痧很多时候狙击枪爆头两枪都打不死，回到我之前说的枪也是真的很飘本来手感就不好，难度一高了就被终结者当小菜杀，还有就是那把终结者用的激光枪，对面用叫激光枪，我用叫加热棒，开几枪就过热了，对面那个终结者双持这个玩意儿打得我在掩体后面头都不敢抬，一露头就残了，最后就是游戏整体玩起来感觉像是赶工出来的一样。不过我这个好评是留个电影的，作为粉丝还是值得一试。

un AA bastante decente. Progresión, exploración, historia y gameplay correctos por el precio que pide. This game, with its story line and very less repeat of movie based sequences ( which was handled beautifully) will by executed by multiple users world wide, something skynet could'nt predict :P .
Makes me say this: Terminator ( movie series and games ) will , in the coming unknown cyber future 3000's , still be among top 1000 creative franchises ever made.

I was initially taken aback at the over-powering attacks byrutheless cybernetic killing machines which have gained intelligence from its human makers and resorts to turning against humans as Skynet and start merciless killing via enhanced machines with living human like tissue and other terminator models with various inhuman abilities.

As I started out on hard mode ( first 12 levels) it was quite an 'Life-like' post apocalyptic adventure which really pushes the player to be task bound, accurate and survive in an open world atmosphere. As the difficulty was set to extreme , there were levels where the machines really toy with the user and unless you start playing like a machine yourself cannot pass through.
As the game reached a low point towards the end , the skill level maxed out for endurance, it made me feel that user is seeking to join the Resistance, being against the machines and get upgraded / augmented to becoming a hybrid terminator machine ( revealing to us our true nature in times of such cyborg / cybernetic terminators ending the humans and leaving cities to ruins).

Проходил после RoboCop, и да - я понимаю, что Terminator разрабы сделали раньше, но игра настолько унылая и пустая, что растягивать обзор на три абзаца просто жалко времени.

Вот что можно сказать о Terminator: Resistance? Ваше отношение к игре будет зависеть исключительно от того, как вы относитесь к оригинальной дилогии фильмов. Если вы являетесь поклонником дилогии Кэмерона, то вас тут не запугает обычный сюжет, деревянные анимации или простенькая стрельба. В то же самое время если вы являетесь представителем той части игроков, которые фанатеют от условных высокобюджетных супер-пупер-ёба-блокбастеров и вам ещё не приелся однотипный корпоративный подход, то вместо плюсов вы будете видеть одни минусы. В то же самое время у игры есть какая-то невидимая магия, когда ты готов простить все косяки и просто наслаждаешься игрой, как в те старые-добрые времена, когда трава была зеленее, а эффективных менеджеров ещё не было в игровой индустрии.

Solid 9.5 of 10. This review is about the base game only. I will update once I play the DLC.
Game has very few minor flas, but it's overall the best thing we got in the franchise.

If you are a fan of Terminator 1 and 2 (the movies), you are gonna love it 100%. The story is very interesting and the characters feel alive. It's about what really happens in the future and how people survive. You play as part of the resistance. Your team got wiped but you continued your mission, meating new people, etc.
The graphics are very good. The atmosphere and the music are top notch. The only minor complaint is the characters' faces. They aren't that good. Like, the design is from 2007-2010 era. Women are good looking tho :D
The gameplay is mainly stealth. But in early, you don't have the weapons to execute, so, you just count on ambushing enemies and being faster. You can lockpick, hack and craft. There is talent tree as well. A good variety of weapons all with different munitions. Later in the game you can craft speciall daggers to execute terminators from behind, but after you use one, it's destroyed.
It's not open world. But most of the stages are pretty big maps. There are side quests, so make sure to finish them for bonus xp. You'll need every xp possible. I am 10h in, on chapter 21 of 28. At least 10 of these chapters are in the hideout/shelter. But if you wanna fully experience the game, explore these places. Look for hidden rooms, locked doors, vents, also talk with the people so you can get side quests and make connections.

Technical part:
Game is built on UE5, but it is very well optimized. The graphics are top quality. I didn't activate the addition graphics settings, but the game could be played on High or Epic without a problem. I locked it manually in 60fps through my AMD adrenaline (chill mod) cuz doing it from the menu didn't work for me.

For the $10 Canadian Dollars I spent, it was worth it. It's a solid B game that reminds me of the old Xbox 360 days. You'll see copy paste animations and locations, but overall it's good enough that I bought the DLC after beating the story. Finally, it's worth it to play on hard from the get go. I am experience at FPS and it gave me a good challenge.

A future sequel could lean into the open-world aspect and do really well.

Ich bin mehr als Begeistert.
Zum Spiel selber muss ich sagen wer die Filme liebt wird hier nicht Enttäuscht.
Die Grafik ist klasse auch wenn das spiel schon in die jahre gekommen ist, läuft auf ultra ohne probleme.

Die Story ist ergreifend und ohne zu spoilern, die eine szene war sehr herzergreifend.

Für jeden Fun ein muss und ich würde 10 von 10 sternen für das game geben und eine reine kaufempfehlung....ob im original preis oder im angebot.

You can tell the devs were fans of the first 2 films. Mechanically and gameplay-wise, the game doesn't really do anything new, but it's done well. It's got competent shooting, competent stealth, competent exploration. None of it stands out head and shoulders above other games, but they drive the game along perfectly fine. The atmosphere and attention to detail are excellent, and the callbacks to the movies are tasteful, not embarrassingly overdone. And the story makes for a far better conclusion than any of the movies that came out after Judgement Day. Damning with faint praise I know but really the story is good.

Да конечно частично можно, так как есть вышедшее в 2020 году DLC Infiltrator ♥️, но как по мне 45 минут маловато и миссия одна, да с отсылками на вселенную по миру Терминатора, но хочется больше! Не теряю надежды, что разработчики возможно задумались или задумаются и всё же выпустят DLC по отельной компании за Т-800…

Juegazo. Si consideras como muchos que la saga Terminator son solo las 2 primeras peliculas, este es tu juego. La ambientacion, identica a lo visto en los flashbacks del futuro de las 2 primeras peliculas, lo mejor de lo mejor. Mapas grandes y abiertos, construccion de armas y accesorios, argumento variable con finales distintos segun vayas haciendo elecciones durante el juego....

Es un 10 en todo para mi, como unico pero que podria estar algo mejor pulido, pero viniendo de un estudio pequeño, me parece un trabajazo lo que han hecho con este juego.

Лучшая игра по терминатору по мнению многих, но как игра достаточно посредственна. Начнем, однако, с плюсов.
Хорошая атмосфера, серая каловая цветовая гамма и безнадега мира будущего после апокалипсиса.
Игра поначалу радует локациями свободными для изучения и крутыми механиками. Тут есть вагон и тележка разного оружия, и стелс, и крафт, и прокачка навыков, и модификации оружия, сайд квесты, отношения с персонажами, взлом двух видов, в некоторх квестах дают выбор, который повлияет на концовки и судьбы персонажей.
Тут концовки СЛАЙДЫ, которые рассказывает как ты игру прошел.
ТУТ СЕКС СЦЕНЫ ЕСТЬ.
Да ёбeн бобен это буквально могла быть игра уровня последних вульфенштейнов.
Мне очень понравилось DLC про терминатора-лазутчика. Там надо в роли робота анигилировать глупых и слабых людишек. Импакт от стрельбы хоть есть. Так, об импакте...

Импакта от стрельбы по роботам почти что нет. Стрелять просто не интересно и удручающе уныло. Если ставить сложность выше обычной еще стрелять надо очень много, а тебе люлей дают очень быстро.
Игра вообще встречает тебя достаточно средними анимациями (смиряешься), режущей ухо озвучкой(привыкаешь) и пережатыми внутриигровыми заставкам.
Контента и возможностей в игре, как я говорил ранее, достаточно на хорошую игру, но реализация достаточно средняя почти всех пунктов.
Стелс - даже на фулл прокачке сломан. Сраный робот палит за три жопы, возможностей подскрасться к нему с ножом почти не бывает.
Оружия много, но с середины пользуешься парой стволов, а остальные коллекционируешь.
ВСЕ сайдквесты в игре - притащи мусор с карты. Т.е. просто найди его(огромная синяя метка на карте) и кликни по нему. Потом отдашь. Что в награду? Ну, почет и уважение. Опыта накинут.
И так докопаться можно ко всем элементам игры. Это буквально тот самый польский шутер из нулевых, который оброс мясом и картинкой, но все еще остался польским шутером
В 2к26 не знаю зачем играть в эту игру, если ты не ярый фанат фильма, который хочет еще контента по вселенной, а последняя 2D игра прошлась за час.

Excellent game, the fact your in the future of the original Terminator movie and its sequel Judgement Day makes this game even better than I could have imagined, an easy way to describe this game is a Linear Fallout 3 with in the OG Terminator Future setting makes a great game to play through, some of the choice dialogue is is very either do it or not but the gameplay, overall story and cinematics makes up for it and the extra PC content makes it even more awesome.

Normally I don't write reviews, but this game is really good, so I decided to do it.
I nearly uninstalled the game when I had to deal with terminators for the first time, but if you know how to pass them, then it's just get really interesting. It's not difficult, and there are a few ways to achieve the goals. I recommend the game. The story is... OK, but the level of details and the sound effects made me think like I was there. I really enjoyed playing the game and I'm already thinking about start playing it again ;)

If you can grab this on a deep discount and you are a fan of the Terminator franchise and shooters, then this is the game for you.
None of the game's mechanics, like levelling, crafting etc. are very deep, it's not an RPG by any means, but there are some shallow conversation trees from time to time.
Ultimately, this is about upgrading weapons and shooting things. It is quite linear with a bit of exploration.
There's a lot of jank and the game shows its age a bit, but I liked it.

Muy buenjuego, simple y corto pero divertido con muchas referencias a The Terminator y Terminator 2 Judgement Day. Tiene uno que otro salto de FPS o texture popping pero generalmente funciona y se ve muy bien. El juego tiene ya si tiempo pero no por eso deja de ser un buen juego, gráficos a día de hoy, pues se quedan pobres pero es bastante aceptable.
Durante el juego es aconsejable que busques por todos los rincones, sobre todo al principio ya que la munición escasea.
Un juego de completar misiones primarias y secundarias si así lo decides. Los escenarios están bien recreados aunque a veces les notas que les falta algo.
La dificultad con los enemigos la vas a notar que a veces es desde simple a que de un disparo te han limpiado. Siempre suelen ser predecibles en sus movimientos.

La historia no está mal, aunque aquí y sin llegar a terminarlo, ya he visto sus peros y un contra bastante llamativa.
Hay partes que no están traducidas ni subtituladas por lo que no te enteras de ese trozo si no sabes inglés.
Muchas conversaciones con los personajes, que a veces notas que no vienen a cuento.

Pero bueno, no deja de ser un buen juego de antes y espero acabarlo para añadir mi valoración final.

This is a really good survival shooter. Aside from being a really good Terminator game overall. Lot's of skulking, collecting stuff and crafting. Also very good story and likeable characters. Some consider the enemy A.I. to be really stupid, but I don't think it's a flaw, it is a feature and canon; Skynet's clankers are simplistic to a fault for a reason, if you're a fan of the lore you can figure out why. Doesn't take away from the atmosphere of survival in post nuclear war ruins tho. Great game overall highly recommended.

Pretty good terminator game, took me like 4 years to finish it. The start of it is a bit more stealthy while you wait for better weapons etc but last few missions are where the good weapons are and the game flows alot better then. Also tested on steam deck and its fully supported, running on high settings at 60fps.

I really loved Robocop made by Teyon and decided to give Terminator:Resistance a go because of that. And I'm loving it. I see now how Robocop got inspired by similar mechanics and I really like how game is a shooter foremost, but has a basic RPG elements attached to it that adds sense of progression and achievement and slightly tailors your play style towards things you prefer to use. It's also interesting how their Terminator game feels like you're against much much more difficult foes where in Robocop it felt like I was the Terminator. They really nailed the feel right. I love semi open maps, I love poking through ruins and hoarding resources, gunplay actually feels pretty good, stealth actually works though I wish it was rewarding in its own way because shooting things gives you XP, but sneaking around gives you nothing so that's a bit of a missed opportunity. Deus Ex rewarded you for sneaking just by using alternate hidden paths which doesn't seem to be the case here but oh well.

I really like how Teyon has evolved and how they actually make really good movie licensed games which is usually a very rare achievement. Most companies screw things up and just hope for the popular franchise name do the heavy lifting. But not Teyon. I still have to finish this game, but I'm really liking it so far. And I'm looking forward to what Teyon will cook up in the future. Keep up the good work lads!

🎭 Спорным момент — это концовки в игре. Как таковых их НЕТ. Безусловно, вариативности в диалогах присутствует. Но она делится по принципу Да/Нет, Черное/Белое. В самом конце мы просто видим очевидный итог этого «черного и белого» относительно каждого персонажа во принятых нами решений. А в целом масштабно кардинально ничего не меняется.🎭

Лично для себя я отметил три минуса игры:

6/10 graphics & audio are consistent and well done but feel a bit dated. Character animations are a bit wooden, obviously animated artificially vs the newer techniques. The dialogue acting is a bit flat and the script is a bit abysmal, you will be wondering if a human ever read it. Especially the companion character dialogues, you will be wondering why am I sitting through this? The music and sound is good and puts you in the terminator universe.
6/10 gameplay. It's a stealth game but there's no mechanic for going into cover, you can either stand/ crouch behind it or not. You can't lean out of cover or fire from cover either. Further the enemy walk animations aren't synced up with their movement speed, so it kind of looks like they are moon sliding around the map. And sometimes they glitch out and get stuck in one direction, or just keep spinning around and around as they walk. This seems like bad design especially in a stealth game, although I gusess you could say it adds some challenge. The weapons are okay and you have options for upgrading them.
4/10 length and depth. The levels are somewhat open world, but not that big, and feels pretty linear. There are also only like 4-5 maps. Pretty well done, again for some date standards.
10/10 no bugs, no pesky third party junk
Definitely a good pick up at sale price.

I loved the terminator movies, especially Terminator salvation (if you disagree, Bite me) so I was pretty hyped when I found out about this game, only to be hit with massive difficulty spikes, impossible stealth missions, and a bad trading shop. I guess it's to be expected as Terminators are supposed to be unstoppable, but boy howdy, I didn't know it would be THIS bad

Great game, still 100% worth playing in 2026, especially if you're a fan of Terminator franchise. It might not be the best FPP shooter but the plot / story rewards everything and actually the graphics are still not bad. This is more of a sneak / stealth game (especially in the first chapters) but later on you can also proceed with full guns blazing approach. RPG (character development) part is very limited but still welcomed.

I did enjoy playing Terminator: Resistance and can recommend this game to anyone who enjoys the universe.

I recommend this only because it scratches an itch for both Terminator lore and at least the first half of the game. Basically the first half with genuine exploration and multiple approaches was interesting, the crafting I barely used and once I upgraded my limited skills I basically just gun hoe'd everything willy nilly. There was some relationship mechanics that were just put there to waste the players time imho EVEN if I liked being able to save everyone or (iykyk)...anyways I would only buy this game on sale but enter with tempered expectations and just a time waster for a couple days.

I going to keep this short. The game is good.
However, that does not mean the player can expect much from it. What I mean by that is most of this game's aspect is mediocre. (level design, progress, etc) There is nothing in this game that you could not find in other game.
I think the most important pro and con is:
PRO: This is what Terminator 3 or movie about the future war should have been about.
CON: If some game can make you feel motion sicknes/headache then this game will too. Lucky in settings there options to lessen this. (FOV, motion blur, post processing, etc.)
If you like the only two terminator movie (i do not consider the other movies terminator movies) then you should consider giving this game a chance, but it probably wise to wait for a sale.

I really enjoyed this, it reminds me a lot of "Skynet" from 1996, but recreated with a more modern engine. You can tell a lot of love went into it, it's very atmospheric and it's a joy to explore every inch of the map. I played it on a harder difficulty and horded resources, gamed the skill tree a bit and although it was a struggle in the early missions it made it more immersive. It's worth playing for any 90s kid who loved Terminator at the time :), this game is absolutely my inner child's dream.

This in my opinion is the best Story Drivin Terminator Game. They really keep the atmosphere and the feeling of how it must've felt like to be in the future war with the machines. The music, gameplay, weapons, and Story OMG legit follows the events of the Movie. 10/10 would recommend. If only they had a multiplayer and a game mode for like rush missions. It would be huge.

My PC is 3-4x better than the recommended specs for this game. Game runs perfectly on Playstation but this port is absolute dog****. Aiming controls are sluggish and unresponsive and the game has SERIOUS FPS issues, even after I turned everything to the lowest settings possible the game bugged out like crazy.

It's a good game but this buggy port I can't recommend.

If you enjoy this, also check out Teyon's "RoboCop: Rogue City", which feels like the culmination of the developer's experience with this Terminator title.

Okay, easy thing for me here. I love the first 2 Terminator movies - even salvation.🤭 This game catches the movie flair so well. So this is a killer App, especially when you're into the 80's and like more conservative Action-Shooter. It's a really memorable game. I liked the art style, design and story so much. It got it's flaws like the onedimensional A.I., narrow Levels and some cheesy dialogs. So don't expect a super polished game! But all in all I had a really good time with it. 100 % recommendation, same for the high quality DLC.

Bet you'll should better be back.

Решил, что хватит с меня этих ваших хитрых сюжетов и моральных дилемм. Хочу простоты: я — человек, враги — роботы, цель — выжить. Скачал Terminator. Первые пять минут: о, я какой-то солдат, о, вокруг разрушенный Лос-Анджелес, о, сейчас буду мочить этих железных уродов из дробовика. Спойлер: дробовик есть, но патронов к нему — кот наплакал, а терминаторы бегают быстрее, чем я за пивом в ночном магазине.

Самое весёлое — это атмосфера. Разработчики реально постарались передать дух фильма: всё серое, грязное, взрывается, люди умирают пачками. Я бегаю по руинам, собираю хлам, прячусь от терминаторов и чувствую себя героем боевика 80-х. Только вот герои боевиков обычно не умирают от одной очереди из пулемёта. А я умираю. Часто. Очень часто.

Враги тут — терминаторы. Много терминаторов. T-800, которые выглядят как Шварценеггер, только злые и без акцента. T-600, которые сделаны из резины и стреляют как сапожники. И летающие дроны, которые жужжат над ухом и портят всю маскировку. Я пытаюсь красться, прятаться за укрытиями, а этот дрон — жжжж — и меня замечают. И сразу выбегают пять железных дровосеков с пулемётами. Я даже не успеваю сказать "I'll be back", как уже лежу в луже собственной крови.

Отдельный респект за систему сбора ресурсов. Тут всё нужно искать: патроны, аптечки, детали для крафта. Я обыскиваю каждый ящик, каждый труп, каждую помойку. Чувствую себя бомжом с ПТСР. Нахожу три патрона, радуюсь как ребёнок, бегу дальше. А потом выясняется, что на следующем уровне будет целая армия терминаторов, и этих трёх патронов хватит ровно на одного. Остальных придётся бить кулаками. А кулаками T-800 не убить. Проверено. 50 раз.

Самое дно — это диалоги с выжившими. В бункере сидят люди: учёные, военные, гражданские. И все они ноют. "У нас кончилась еда", "У нас кончились патроны", "Скайнет атакует". А я такой: "Ребята, я только что снаружи, там реально ад, дайте хотя бы похвалить, что вы ещё живы". Но нет, они продолжают ныть. Я начинаю понимать, почему Скайнет решил уничтожить человечество. Мы реально бесячие.

Второй акт — это путешествие в прошлое. Да, здесь есть машина времени. Я попадаю в 1984 год, где всё цветёт и пахнет, люди ходят в джинсах и слушают музыку. И я должен найти Джона Коннора. А вокруг — терминаторы, которые тоже прыгнули в прошлое и теперь охотятся на меня. Я бегаю по уютным американским улочкам, стреляю из лазерной винтовки, а прохожие думают, что это съёмки фильма. Если бы они знали, что это реальность.

Боссы — это эпично. Главный гад — T-800 Infiltrator. Он бегает за мной, стреляет из гранатомёта, ломает стены. Я прячусь, перезаряжаюсь, молюсь. На 15-й попытке я наконец его убиваю. Стою над его обломками, смотрю на красный глаз, который медленно гаснет, и думаю: "Я победил". А он вдруг говорит: "I'll be back". И я понимаю, что это намёк на сиквел. Спасибо, разработчики, за надежду.

Концовка... Я выполнил миссию, спас человечество, вернулся в будущее. Все счастливы, пьют пиво, обнимаются. А я сижу и думаю: "А что дальше?". Через 20 лет Скайнет снова нападёт. И снова нужно будет бегать, собирать патроны и умирать от терминаторов. Бесконечная война. Я закрываю игру, наливаю виски, смотрю в окно. На улице дети играют в роботов. Я вздрагиваю. Кажется, пора к психиатру.

Вердикт: игра — ностальгический шедевр. Если вы хотите вспомнить старые фильмы, поубивать терминаторов и почувствовать себя Джоном Коннором — это ваш выбор. Только не забудьте купить запасные нервы. И патроны. Патроны важнее.

P.S. Разработчикам спасибо за атмосферу 80-х. Я теперь даже в своего робота-пылесоса стреляю, когда он подъезжает слишком близко.
