+ It is detailed: There’s an animation for swimming as well as when you get trampled by a marching platoon. You can also see bullet holes when you’ve missed the enemy.
+ There are some areas that have on-rails shooting event instead of top-view action.
+ You can go inside some houses or buildings.
+ Dropped items does not disappear until you exit the game and reload your save file.
+ Even defeated enemies, they don’t respawn or regenerate life untile you reload your save file.
+ It also have some RPG mechanics where you rank up, you can level up certain skills of your character.
+ There’s also some inventory management and you can only carry number of items.

Cons
- You can only change between keyboard and mouse to controller, and vice versa, by pressing F2 on the main menu.
- On the Options > Controller > Misc, it says “Display Settings”
- Cursor sensitivy is only between “Rigid” or “Smooth” aim, it is not a slider.
- You cannot pause during the on-rails shooting event. This is frustrating if you need to change the cursor sensitivity to react faster.
- No way to select Stats when using a controller.
- When you are defeated while doing a mission, you go back to your tent and when you head out, you will go back to your last checkpoint. However, the same thing happens if you are not defeated yet but you go to your tent while you are on a mission.
- Bug: On the “Destroy the Black Mole” mission, you can get trampled by the tank and hit by the missile. If the missile made your health dropped to zero, there’s no game over screen and your character cannot move because you have zero health.
- Bug: After the “Destroy the Black Mole” mission, your next mission is to go stop the train. But before chasing the train, you must first talk to a soldier. You cannot talk to the soldier unless you exit to the main menu and reload the game
- Bug: On the “Stop the train” mission, some hits on the enemy does not defeat the enemy. It seems it should be a headshot or on the upper torso.
- When using a controller, character movement and crosshair seems to slide, it doesn’t stop immediately when you stop moving the left and right sticks.

It’s a good detailed game, but somehow the gameplay and controller options are a bit frustrating. I give it 6/10.

I couldn't beat the Black Mole mission due to several bugs. My character has always stuck behind the tank. After his death, I was forced to restart from camp with little ammo.

Because it's very difficult to get money in this game, so I have to use a cheat method.

1. Disable your Steam Cloud save.
2. Find the local save files in "common\Super Trench Attack!\data\save".
3. Create a "save.zip" for save folder.
4. Play the casino. If you win, quit the game and create a new zip. If you lose, unzip your old save.
5. Repeat the steps above.

Графика не плохо от рисованная без особых нареканий игра придерживается своего стиля.
Юмор глупый и простой
Музыка на фоне простая просто чтоб была, не надоедает и на том спасибо
Звуки кругом довольно стоковые 1 или 2 вы точно где-то да могли уже слышать.
Игровой процесс типичный для жанра беги стреляй негодяев и подбирай дропы в весьма скромный инвентарь. Так же есть торгаши которым можно сбагрить лишний хлам как и купить обновки. Прокачка есть дают выбирать что прокачивать но на практике она словно особо не влияет. Мир игры открытый в нем есть что исследовать но ничего супер интересного.

за деньги что за нее просят ну жаловаться на редкие косяки в карте или еще чем не хочется.

Игра просто прикольная на несколько ленивых вечеров может хватит за свои деньги вообще кайф. Это та самая прикольная игра куплена на сдачу в распродажу которая не удивляет но может порадовать.

Repeating boss fights does not recover your previous ammo quantity.
Upgrading health and grenades does not seem to have an effect.
Last shop discount card is so expensive than it does not save money.
Shops are too far appart from each other.
No logic on equipment drops. You get Boots +29 on shop and boots +7 on drops.
Trash dialogs (annoying at shops) and irrelevant story.
I had to redo last map 10 times walking all the way because it has no tunnels.
First person shooting stages rely on trial and error and memorizing.
Tries to be funny but most of the time only tries.

Yup, this is one of those games you get from bundles - most of them aren't great, but you keep checking them out, hoping to stumble upon a hidden gem. Well, good news. This is the one you've been waiting for!

This game has a great sense of humour, tons of stuff to find and hidden treasures. I didn't find 100% completion hard to achieve though, even with all the different maps and so much to break and explore. Still, it will definitely keep you busy for a few hours.

I would give it a 4.5 out of 5, just because it crashed twice.

Top down shooter in which you control soldier during some conflict. You can buy better equipment from merchants and do some missions. Game is semi open so you can travel across the map in limited fashion. Visuals are mediocre and reminds of speed doodling. Game have plenty of dialogs and stands out by its wonky humor. This is a fun little World War focused I'd call twitch third person shooter. There's a lot of things to like about this charming little game, enemies react to being shot in the feet or in the head, AI is pretty accurate even on normal difficulty. Boss stages are pretty challenging and will require some retries. Labeling this an "RPG" is kind of inaccurate unless you count ranking up and allocating points to improve 1 of 4 stats that affect gameplay very little. It's also labeled as a "funny" game, I'd call it parody and charming at many points, but not really a laugh out loud experience. Try to pick it up on sale, even at full price it would be worth purchasing. If you enjoy other games in this vein like Metal Slug you'd probably have a good time here, I just wish there was a little more weapon variety.

Да, здесь довольно обидно, что нет перевода на русский. Но в любом случае игра не особо серьёзная. Тут порой даже слишком много допущений в плане боевых действий. Играем за некоего Рэмбо, который может выдержать много попаданий и при этом довольно быстро расправляется с противниками.

Хоть сама стилистика не особо нравится, но в целом можно было бы позависать в игре. Может когда-нибудь добавят русский перевод, хоть в силу года выхода игры надежд мало.

It is quite hard to pinpoint what type of genre it belongs to, but I believe it mainly feels like an action RPG. You play as a young recruit, sent on your merry way to fight the enemy forces known as The Black Army. This game was developed by Retro Army Limited and published by paulstephendavis.

When it comes to the story, it is definitely simple, but the writing is super sharp.
While the humor might not be for everyone, I genuinely loved the witty dialogues, the funny character poses around the map and the general groove of [u]Super Trench Attack[/u]. It knows it is silly and it just goes for it - it is a very straightforward story where you have to do a few quests, like disposing of enemies in a previously owned base or saving hostages from enemy forces, only to discover that there is a big, badder and meaner villain later down the line. It is pure, dad-jokes filled, cheese and pulpy fun!

Gameplay is also rather simple.
You control your character with the mouse buttons, clicking on surfaces you want to move to or items you want to interact with and combat also relies on the same control scheme.
It is not particularly deep or challenging, but it is very enjoyable. You have an inventory system with a generous amount of slots to use and a few different weapons, though I found most didn't feel very distinct. You also get to level up a few passive skills, like increased grenade damage, for example.
My only gripe with the gameplay is that there are sudden “difficulty spikes” because some enemies may be out of sight and you get shredded to bits before you can react. This, however, only took me by surprise a few times throughout my playthrough so it was not that big a deal.
The harder difficulty provides an enjoyable challenge, but I believe the normal difficulty is a tad too easy.

Visually, [u]Super Trench Attack[/u] looks amazing. While you can tell it is a budget title, the art direction is so strong that it does not really matter in the end.
The cartoon approach actually helps with the game’s whole demeanor, as everything is goofy and colorful.
The game’s sound effects are serviceable but the real winner in the sound department is the soundtrack. Granted, it is rather simple, but it got me in the mood to shoot some bad guys. It does not get in the way of the gameplay and you get to listen to a few tracks regularly and they get ingrained in your brain. Again, the whole approach is cheesy and silly.

Honestly, there is not much more I can add to this review.
[u]Super Trench Attack[/u] is a simple, yet enjoyable, budget title that can entertain you for around 7 hours. If you are looking for a fast-paced shooter, this might not be it, but if you are willing to give it a try, you cannot really go wrong. It is really inexpensive and I can definitely recommend it. Wish more people would give it a try – a hidden gem!

I enjoyed playing, a nice break from other titles. The game is short, (about 5h) but of course there were repetitions. The plot is linear, we will not experience additional missions here. However, the wonośc ekploracjki makes up for the fact that we have to run from point to point. Despite the small pains, I enjoyed the game as I mentioned earlier, and I can confidently recommend it to rpg fans. 6,5/10 :)

Its a great little game. in my opinion, the final boss is way too hard, even on normal. This can be cheesed with the power of cheat engine, but the thing that i cant accept is that i cant 100% the game. The same bug that has existed since 2015 is still making it so this game will never be 100%. the wine cellar is closed, so i cant get the furniture item inside of it for the last achievement. That being said, its a good way to kill a few hours.

Hikaye 1/2 : Acemi askerden düşman askerlerine kök söktüren bir terminatöre dönüşme hikayemiz anlatılıyor. Bizim orduya ihanet eden çılgın profesörü durdurarak savaşın seyrini değiştiriyor ve güzel komutanımızı memnun ediyoruz.
Grafik 1/2 : Tam atari grafiği diyebilirim. Tatlı, kendini oynattıran, sade ve nostaljik görüntüler var.
Oynanış 2/2 : İzometrik olmasına rağmen fareyi hareket ettirdiğinizde çevrenizde geniş bir görülebilir alan açılması oynanışı çok kolaylaştırıyor ve düşmanları rahatlıkla görmenizi sağlıyor. Basit envanter yönetimi, bölgeler arası ışınlanabildiğimiz ve sade tuş kombinasyonuna sahip, boss savaşlarının da tv de ördek vurma oyununa benzer mekanikte yapıldığı bu tatlı oyunu kesinlikle oynamanızı tavsiye ederim. 8 saatin ardından tekrar Summer Camp a dönmek isteyeceksiniz.

Esta bastante bien, no es el gran juego pero es entretenido.
Lo que es la historia son entre 5 y 7 horas, pero tiene bastante de exploracion (y un poco de farmeo por dinero).
El juego busca ser comico, no es un humor que te haga dar carcajadas pero acompaña durante el juego, le da su propio toque, Es como una dosis pequeña de metal slug (la bandera enemiga son iguales de hecho).
Lo que es la jugabilidad como tal esta bastante bien, se controla bien, donde le disparas al enemigo de hecho importa.

Un simpático juego con un estilo twin stick shooter pero con el encanto de los juegos antiguos, recordandome a alguno de los que salían en la Game Boy. Se basa en una especie de primera guerra mundial mezclado con humor absurdo e infantil, que resulta bastante simpático por momentos, y que tiene una duración cortita que impide que su gameplay simple no se vuelva repetitivo. Si quieres una pequeña diversión cuando no tengas nada mejor que hacer y lo consigues a un precio asequible, es una buena compra.

Kara Ordu denen Alman İmparatorluğu uyarlaması birlikler Yeşil Ordu'nun vatanını, Britanya'nın uyarlamasını, işgal etmektedir. İşgal birkaç kıyı şeridi ve yerleşimle sınırlıdır. Biz de orduya alınan bir erz ve cephe hattının gerisindeki karargahta bize verilen emirler doğrultusunda operasyonlar yapıyoruz. Spoiler'ı zaten başarımlar veriyor, savaşı komik bıyıklı bir generali yenerek değil dünyayı çatlak bir profesörden kurtararak kazanıyoruz.

WASD ile ilerle, M1 ile ateş et... Düşmanları öldürdükçe rastgele oranda para, el bombası ya da cephane düşüyor.

Oyunda alışveriş yapılabiliyor. Mermi, bomba, miğfer ve bot hem alınıp hem de satılabiliyor, sağlık paketi alınabiliyor. Madalyalar da satın alınabiliyor, çeşitli istatistiksel bonuslar veriyor. Senaryo ilerledikçe silahların daha güçlü versiyonları geliyor. Ne kadar güçlenseler de senaryo boyunca ilerledikçe karşılaşılan düşmanlara kafadan tek atmak zorlaşıyor.

Oyunda iki çeşit silah var; tabanca ve tüfek. 1. Dünya Savaşı atmosferi olduğu için bir makineli tüfek konmamış oyuna. Şahsen eksikliğini hissettim, en azından son kısımlarda güç fantezisi yapmak için bile konmuş olabilirdi.

Bir yerden sonra yancımız oluyor, bizimle beraber geliyor ve bize ateş desteği sağlıyor. Ama onun da canı var ve devre dışı kalabiliyor. Biz de canımız bittiğinde çadırımıza dönüyoruz ve burada görev alanına geri dönmek veya karargahta gezinip alışveriş yapma seçeneklerimiz oluyor. Görevde ölünce bir DEATH ekranı çıkıp görev en baştan başlamıyor. Oturum kapanıncaya kadar bölgelerde öldürdüğünüz düşmanlar kalıcı olarak ölüyor.

Düşman öldürüp görev tamamladıkça XP topluyor ve seviye atlıyoruz, seviye atladığımızda can kapasitesi, tabanca-tüfek-bomba hasarlarını artırmak içik bize seviye puanları veriliyor. Yancımız da seviye atlıyor ve can kapasitesi artıyor.

Since I have never been a real gamer- at least not in the way that fits the meta-definition and the cultural qualifications- I have no right to share my praise about the gameplay.

However, I do want sponsor the art and comedic angle of this game. While unfortunately you'll see a couple absurdly-placed sweatdrops or something that look like they could be traced to an anime influence, the vast majority of the game's art is in a superb Western cartoonish kin that sells through exaggeration the emotions and goings-on of these soldiers and spies. The conversational lines can be funny, but the little asides that the player soldier makes in response to what he's being told during briefings often fall flat; it is the show-don't-tell during gameplay that sells the humor and vivacity most successfully. The way soldiers react when knocked out or grenaded; the little indicators that let you know something's wrong; the way your enemies react when you shoot them in the FPS minigames; and, even the dialogue, though not rich with laughter-bursting one-liners, does a great job at building up a tongue-in-cheek war series built in a world dominated by British humor and sitcom-like irony, akin to "Dad's Army" (if you haven't watched it, I recommend it to anyone who likes British humor and is willing to give oldies a shot) or an early Monty Python or Carol Burnett sketch set in one of the World Wars. Albiet, leaning strong into Monty Python's irreverence and cruder bits that Carol Burnett or Dad's Army would have drawn a line before.

Again, I don't deserve the badge of "gamer". I haven't earned it. So I can't praise the gameplay like I'd like to. What I can say is that just for the humorous world-building and tone alone, and the wild Western-cartoon art and (mostly) animation alone, I strongly recommend it, and I do at least stand by that I think the humor is a good gateway to enjoyable, unique gameplay.

Quick Text Review:

It's war and your country was invaded... now go defeat them you one person army you!
-The visuals are good with World War I inspiration and slapstick design (eg. one death animation has you being abducted by aliens even though you fight no aliens in the game). It's pleasantly pale and kind of reminds me of a less colourful, twin stick metal slug!
-Twin stick shooter action where you feel really stiff but have surprisingly accurate aim (If finicky)
-The game has a very loose feel
-Somehow that translates to the shooting gallery segments where targets are much bigger (Still fun though)
-The game also has a shallow economic and rpg system that adds little to proceedings
-It does encourage going out to look for treasure and keepsakes though... the game has decent secrets
-Functional story (The slapstick can be good in terms of the sight gags but otherwise not much)
-A small, fun, if not groundbreaking thing

Practical Concerns:
-Good value for money (R2.10/ hour for me - $ and £ values in video)
-Small download size (208 Mb on the hard drive)
-Easy to run (If it can have its foibles)
-Mostly Kid Friendly

This game has a awesome art style that is very nostalgic for somebody who grew up with flash games on sites like Addicting Games and Miniclip. Those were the days. I wasnt expecting much for a cheap game but this has been a blast to play.

I love the humor in it, and the unique art style. Theres some collectibles and upgrades to grind along with in-game badges and XP boosts from clearing bunkers and completing missions.

if you like simple point and shoot games with some trading and a top down/isometric angle or perspective, give this one a try for sure.

За свою ціну непогано(купував за 16 гривень). Пройти повністю не зміг оскільки я трохи дурник і не зрозумів як пройти боса. На початку досить весело, але досить швидко надоїдає, носитись туди сюди і стрілятись було весело на початку. Но вже через годину ти розумієш що тут нічого іншого й не буде.

Fun game with some hilarious jokes and dialogue. I enjoyed the gameplay and the upgrades. It's 90% isometric twin stick shooter with some static FPS moments scattered in between, where you just click to shoot at targets in first person without having to move around.

Overall, definitely worth the price if you like the setting and enjoy goofy humor!

Noch nicht lange gespielt, aber es hat auf Anhieb gepasst. Hier wird aus dem Szenario "Krieg" ein Gag gemacht. Von der ersten Spielminute an ist das Game voll mit kleinen Witzen, sei es, dass Gegnern die Hose runter rutscht bei einem Treffer oder Kamerad, der einen aus einer Badewanne im Camp erschreckt, als man sich doch eigentlich nur die Quietscheente näher anschauen will. In der Spielmechanik ist auch nicht unbedingt tote Hose, so gibt es beim Feind mindestens drei Trefferzonen (Kopf, Körper, Beine). Desweiteren kommen Gegner nicht direkt wild angerannt, wenn sie etwas hören, sie schauen lediglich erst nach was los ist und bleiben bei Toten Kameraden stehen, es sei denn, man wurde gesichtet. Man findet sehr schnell rein und sowieso, ein tutorial gibt es eh am Anfang.

오버하지 않으면서도 만화스러운 코믹한 연출
전쟁 중심의 게임이만 높지 않은 유헐, 폭력성
복잡하지 않은 직관적인 게임 플레이
깔끔하고 간결한 그래픽
길지도, 짧지도 않은 플레이타임.
플레이타임 대비 충실한 내용 구성물.
순발력이 필요한 몇 부분을 제외한다면
난이도는 적당히 긴장감을 유지할 수 있는 수준입니다.
여러가지 경로로 추가는 해놨지만 플레이는 안해보신 분들이 많을 것 같은데
개인적으로는 풀프라이스라도 구매할 가치가 있다고 생각합니다.
찍먹하러 받았다가 만족하고 나갑니다.

В общем-то говоря : игра замечательная ! В чём то это пародия на Diablo-2 (2000) , в чём-то тактическая стратегия (обойди тупых врагов так чтоб тебя не грохнули по глупости и расстреляй их издалека) . Также здесь есть миниигры типа тир (разборки с рядом врагов на определённых локациях либо с боссами) . Но главное конечно здесь юмор (как в замечательной стилистике , так и в сюжете , диалогах и роликах) . Я бы сказал что автор (Steve John Davis) вдохновлялся фильмом "На плечо!" (1918) Чарльза Чаплина и "Blackadder goes forth !" Роуэна Аткинсона (четвёртый сезон "Blackadder") . Но вполне возможно что я заблуждаюсь , и ничего из этого он никогда не смотрел . Во всяком случае получилось очень даже неплохо как для игры сделанной одним человеком и своих денег она стоит .
Единственный минус : семиэтажная прокачка , которая такой короткой игре нафиг сдалась . Поначалу я бегал не один час по одним и тем же локациям , собирая золото , потом наколдлвал его через Cheat Engine . Думаю если б с самого начала так сделал прошёл бы её быстрее чем за 13-ть часов .
А так то да : игра классная , весёлая , однозначно рекомендую !

퀘스트 받고 가서 깨면 되는데 도착 지점만 알려주고
가는길은 따로 있는경우가 있음
조작이 어려운편 (사람에 따라 다를수도)
특히 1인칭에서 몹튀어 나오는곳 패드로 너무 힘듬
마우스라고 쉽겠지 했다가 재장전중 계속 쳐맞음
데스패널티는 없는듯(?)
동료를 얻은 다음 조금 편해지지만 1인칭에선...
가방,장비 아이템,카드겜 등 요소는 괜찮은데...
언어의 장벽으로 하차

Замечательная сатирическая игра о войне в виде смеси Diablo, Wolfenstein 3d и Hotline Miami в стиле ретро.

Геймплейно - Обычный топ-даун шутер с элементами рпг - прокачка, лут, различное снаряжение. Карт довольно много, они разнообразны и наполнены секретами и мини-активностями (а-ля разжигание факелов или зачистка подвалов с бункерами).

Визуально - Это стиль. Ретро-стилистика окутывает с первых минут и происходит моментальное погружение в детство. Анимации приятны, как и заставки, а голова ГГ в окошечке хоть и не столь эмоциональна как в думе, но отсылает явно к нему, что не может не радовать.

Аудио составляющая как и подобает подобным играм - военные мотивы. Стрельба, взрывы и предсмертные крики выполнены в той же ретро-стилистике, что и рисовка, что лишь придает атмосферы.

Сюжет - Все как в старые добрые - Мы в одиночку вычищаем толпы неприятеля и спасаем красотку. Классика.

Итог - Игра приятна во всех аспектах. Если захотелось ностальгии по детству - однозначно рекомендую.

Super Trench Attack is a great game! If you like, shooting Germans, stopping mad scientist, and collecting hidden items, this game is for you! The story is good, it has funny moments and dramatic moments. The overworld travel & main content of the game isn't too repetitive either.

All in all, I'd say if you like isometric aimers, and have an afternoon or two to spend it's 100% worth the price!

Весёлая, юморная игра, стоит внимания. При первом прохождении случайно безвозвратно потерял существенную часть своего инвентаря из-за бага, когда уже к тому моменту прошёл больше половины игры, вроде бы вызвал этот баг перетаскиванием вещей в инвентаре друг на друга, и в результате пропало желание на продолжительное время играть по новой, и собственно в данный момент появилось желание переиграть, стараясь не вызвать этот баг я прошёл эту игру, возможно разработчики либо починили его, либо мне повезло с этим... Прошёл игру приблизительно за 5.7 часов, а остальное время насчитано за выбивание карт и первичное прохождение
