Underrated Gem. Really like this approach to roguelikes. Incredibly punishing, but incredibly rewarding. You can spend all this time upgrading a gun, but if you die in a dungeon with it, it's gone. Might be a turn off for some people, but the risk/reward aspect is incredibly addicting in my opinion. I feel like I've only scratched the surface after putting a decent amount of hours in.

The guns and gun building system are cool, but the way the combat works in this games drives me absolutely bonkers.
Walk in to room -> Every enemy aggros on you -> run backwards and kill them -> repeat. The looting doesn't feel rewarding and losing a run (and all of your stuff) is very punishing as it takes so long to get any sort build going.
Also the music is repetitive and feels like generic happy music you'd hear in a company presentation.

Best thing since sliced toast. I just wish weapon crafting was more intuitive. Rpm feels like a number rather than a mechanic and it feels very streamlined to semi automatic weaponry. semi auto saves ammo, money and durability. If i want to delete something from this plane of existense i can just increase the damage of the weapon

Very good title that honestly has the craziest life cycle ive seen where the updates actually just never stop lol. Such a massive amount of content for so little cost. For new folks my favorite early game guns to lean on for stacking is the Mossman (Shotgun) and Beck 8 (Pistol). Last thing is that this game is hard but far easier than others in its genre. Has a good balance IMHO at the moment.

I will give this game a good review, because I did enjoy it. If I could give it a middle review I would. The first 3 parts of this game are very fun I enjoyed the challenge. The parts following are a brutal, spiteful, hate for the player gauntlet that is built to make you frustrated.

It is one moment after another of "What? You didn't know that because you just got here? Cool your run is ruined! What? Your RNG wasn't perfect? Cool your run is ruined? What? You didn't know the exact hitbox of that enemy and thus missed your one attack? Cool they can take half your health and there is 18 of them at once!"

I do enjoy this game, I enjoy the passion put behind it, the art style, the movement and the weapons. What I don't enjoy is them going out of their way to make your life a worse hell than the one pictured in game after a certain point just because "haha lets make the game challenging by making it absolutely unfair."

This game is good fun. You can get random loot and keep doing runs in the basic levels to get money and supplies. The art style is really cool, the guns feel great along with the movement and all the buffs and combos you can build. Never got frustrated with this game, its good fun.

Its a fun game, but it seems the devs just focus on ideas that harm the player and the playthrough. Since Im new I dont know how the game was before, I do read the updates usually anger a lot of player tho. In my case its a bit frustrating that halfway (I think) of the game you dont have a direct access to the new zones, but you need to run earlier zones and beat them in succession (Im talking about Sewers - Maze - Dungeon, no way to get directly into Dungeon), which not only takes a lot of time, but its like forcing an ironman mode or hardcore mode on everyone. It seems it would be easier to have different difficulties so everyone can enjoy the game according to their skill. Sadly you start to realize the devs are against you well over the 2 hours playtime, so after a couple hours you are left with a game not worth playing anymore, and yet you cant refund.

An extremely unique roguelite shooter with a lot of heart put into it. The weapons are a real highlight, with dozens of custom designs, detailed animations, and a massive rabbithole of customizability that allows you to take two of the same weapon and spec them both into completely different roles in your arsenal. I've gotten eighty hours of fun out of this game, and it's not even out of early access yet. About ten to twenty of those hours was actually beating the game, and the rest is just running through the game experimenting with new weapon builds. An easy recommend, even in its current state.

A nice little roguelike shooter. Runs smoothly, weapon sounds and hit feedback is incredibly satisfying. Graphics... well, look at the footage, you get what you see. Crafting is very well done, you can find lots of recipes for food, weapon enchantments are a bit limited atm, but the few you have are distinct from each other and are quirky and fun to use. Overall I would say this is a charming game with a lot of hearty content. As it stands atm, you get a fair quantity of game for the price, while the quality is top notch. Has a few bugs, but didn't encounter anything game-breaking so far. I hope the devs will get a bit more creative with the cooking mechanic later-on, there's still room for more imo.

São muitas armas, óleos e pergaminhos que alteram as características das armas, armaduras e amuletos, tudo isso traz uma combinação virtualmente infinita de possibilidades.

Destaque também para a parte das receitas, são MUITOS ingredientes que permitem serem combinados em diversos pratos, é divertido testar e combinar os ingredientes.

Desafiador pela dinâmica do jogo:

Desafiador mas nunca injusto. Cada nova fase é claramente mais difícil que a anterior, isso se traduz pelos inimigos que encontramos em cada uma e o próprio layout de cada mapa. Isso te motiva a sempre tentar novamente quando algo não dá certo.

Divertido pela combinação de todos os elementos.

Além dos que citei acima o jogo oferece outros elementos que sempre te fazem voltar. Uma boa trilha sonora, em especial a fase da masmorra. Safe spaces onde você pode estocar todo tipo de coisa para não começar uma nova run pelado, upgrades relevantes e o principal: o descobrimento. Você nunca sabe o que de novo irá encontrar nessa nova empreitada.

Recomendo esse jogo para todos aqueles que gosta de jogo com alta personalização, gestão de inventário e até alguns aspectos rouguelike. Tudo isso com o fato que estamos em acesso antecipado, então a tendencia é apenas de melhorar o que já é ótimo.

Interesting, challenging, and fun.

Interesting because of the variety it offers.

From enemies to build customization and items. In my 12 hours of gameplay so far, no run has been the same as another. There are many weapons, oils, and scrolls that modify the characteristics of weapons, armor, and amulets. All of this creates a virtually infinite number of possible combinations.

Another highlight is the cooking system. There are a lot of ingredients that can be combined into different dishes, and it’s fun to experiment and mix them together.

Challenging because of the game’s dynamics.

Challenging, but never unfair. Each new stage is clearly more difficult than the previous one. This is reflected in the enemies you encounter and in the layout of each map. It motivates you to keep trying again whenever something doesn’t go as planned.

Fun because of the combination of all these elements.

Beyond what I mentioned above, the game offers other aspects that always bring you back. A good soundtrack — especially in the dungeon stage — safe spaces where you can store all kinds of items so you don’t start a new run empty-handed, meaningful upgrades, and most importantly: discovery. You never know what new things you’ll find on your next attempt.

I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys games with deep customization, inventory management, and some roguelike elements. And considering that it’s still in early access, the trend is for it to keep improving on what is already great.

One of the best games of it's kind, Unique and fun art style, surprisingly deep weapon enchanting/modding as well as cooking/crafting systems, good enemy variety and mechanics, lots of cool and unique guns to try. Only gets better with updates. I am excited to see 1.0 and what may come after it, and to keep experimenting with new builds.

Originally, I bought this game as an alternative to satiate my boredom and act as a short-paced FPS shooter that had that snappiness of Half-Life and none of the commitment to long story sections. I wanted a snack, not a meal. For that purpose, SULFUR is "fine" in the same way orange juice is "Fine." Once you look a little under the hood, however, things start to fall apart.

[b]I'll begin with the positives.[/b]
The game runs very well. You'd expect that with its very flat textures and lack of any real shading but these days you'd be surprised. It works as intended, out of the box.
The gun-play is snappy, as I'd hoped from someone who's played all the good FPS games.
The atmosphere is pretty good; although, there's nothing that's going to blow you mind here. The limited draw distance doesn't help in this effort.
The soundtrack is genuinely incredible. It's earned the bragging rights to have a 200% Music slider simply for this purpose.
The weapon design also tickles me, with a drop rate that's pretty satisfying in being not too rare, and also not too common to where I was picking gravediggers out of my ear canals.

I think those were the most important things that stuck out to me on the positive side.

[b]Now for the negatives and the reason I'm writing this review[/b]
I'm going to abstain from writing about subjective things like world-building, the excess of flavour text and--one could even argue a paper-thin plot. Those things didn't bother me. What genuinely bothered me was this game's balance.
I don't subscribe to the oil debate that seems to be going on, I don't really like oils as I find them unreliable in most regards.

I think this game has far too many moments where one is certain to take damage, and not nearly enough opportunities to heal. Food items can't be bought inside the church, not even with a Stamp Trade, no matter how much SULF is collected. So stocking up food items pertains to going out and gathering it; which is a risk in and of itself. The lowest layer, the caves, is not a low-risk, easy difficulty area. That's not to say it's insanely difficult like the dungeon, but it has a variety of things that stop it from being the mindless breeze that it ought to be. This also includes a random low-chance encounter with highly dangerous robot enemies that the player will die to 9/10.

I really want to highlight two specific enemies that caused me the most amount of grief within my playthrough, and a specific encounter that made me downright uninstall it.

Wraiths are poorly designed. The many visual and audio warning signs set to trigger upon their spawning should've been evidence that they were to be omitted entirely. These signs do not correlate with when they appear but rather that they will be present--seemingly at random. When they do decide to appear, it will typically be outside of the player's vision, where they will attack by either slowing the player down (including their mouse-sensitivity) and chip away at their health, by tossing random props at them whilst invisible, or by firing high-damage spirit orbs that track.

Had these enemies been optional I wouldn't even be writing this review, but alas here we are.

Another enemy, although much less egregious, is the Black Guild Assassin. They have a speed much higher than the player's base sprint, are very small and hard to hit, and have very high DPS. They tend to charge the player and attack repeatedly when within range. In the final act of the Dungeon, four of these creatures spawned alongside a freezing wraith and I felt, honestly, cheated. My run ended there, and that was that.

In that situation, I felt like the game had forced me to lose, no matter my ability or preparation. I'll admit, I'm not the best at First Person Shooters and I'm much worse at rouge-likes. But I don't know many who could survive that, and I know even fewer who would enjoy it.

I'm sorry, SULFUR, but this camel's back is broken.

Could be a fun game, but the devs have been making decisions that greatly restrict fun. Almost all of the oils and scrolls are useless. Ammo got limited. Durability is very low. I don't know why they decided that making op guns was wrong.

an amazing cooking and inventory management sim with some incredible fps/rogue/extraction elements sprinkled in.

all jokes aside, this game has quickly become an obsession for me.

love the art style, and the music fits the game perfectly.
it is, most definitely, a difficult (end) game, but it is fair and especially, rewarding.
the gunplay is solid, from the sound fx, to the actual feel of the guns ingame. animations and weapon design are top notch.

it is rather fun, being able to upgrade your weapons with various attachments, as well as being able to enchant with scrolls and oils.
attachments can buff your weapons in various, basic ways, such as recoil reduction, plus crit chance, extra durabilty and even more damage! these are easy to attach to any weapon, and if you don't like it, it costs barely anything to remove them. you can play around as much as you want!
scrolls can empower your weapons with some pretty crazy effects like, turning every bullet into a rocket, giving every bullet a chance to petrify your enemy, or even charm it to fight for you, and much moire. they are easy to try out, if they are the first enchantment you add, and nothing more. if you don't like it, you don't lose much, as they are pretty easy to acquire.
oils, ultimately, serve the same purpose as attachments, but in a much greater capacity, and with much more variety, as well as some downsides (unless you grind oils with no downs, but they arre barely half as powerful as any regular oil).

this leads me to one of my two gripes with the game:
the devs preach gun tinkering, and playing around with new buiilds and stuff, but, they punish players for trying to do so in two ways:

firstly, oils (and scrolls) will be permanetly lost when removed from a weapon. I understand this from an irl perspective, makes perfect sense. yet, it serves no real purpose in this game. you want us to experiment, and sure, I can grind a bunch of oils in a few hours, but they sure as hell won't be what I had, and what I want. there are just too many of them. why am I being punished for trying things out? when I make a build, if I make just one wrong move, the whole thing is lost, and I need to grind agian, for the things that I used, just to replace that one lemon. it's actually ludicrous

and lastly, how am I meant to make all these incredible builds, and keep maybe some food, or health potions or maybe even armour(?) or whatever with next to no storage, vs the amount of oils, attachments, food, ingredients, collectibles, armour and especially, GOOD weapons in the game?

I feel like they are leaning too heavily on the "extraction" based part of the game, and let's be honest, we're all using that term extremely lightly here, and not leaning enough into what makes this game excel. the looting and gun tinkering part.

all in all, I highly recommend this game, it does almost everything possible to go towards the right direction. in my eyes, just these two simple changes will take this game to even greater heights.

ps from what I've seen, these devs actually do listen and care about their game. it's pretty cool. and if you don't believe me, check thier recent update history. they made a big change, most players didn't like it, so they added a toggle to allow players to divert from their vision of the game, with zero repercussions (achievements)

Классный рогалик. Люто подгорает когда теряешь всё из-за своей жадности. Куча оружия, куча масел. Не хватает чуть больше квестов, разнообразия тех же пещер. Но как пишут не хватает контента и далее. Очень нравится стилистика и весь ритм игры. Надеюсь разработчики будут её развивать и поддерживать. Добавьте сортировку инвентаря и хранилищ!!!

This is a game I can't simply recommend with some of the decisions I noticed in the levels, certain enemies, and upgrades for guns, and the final boss. However, it's not all bad, as I do have a lot of good to say as well.

Starting with the good, this game's look is extremely pleasing to the eye. Low poly mixed with sprites, and vibrant colors is absolutely gorgeous. Aside from 1 level, none looked bad, and always kept my attention. The Caves area was claustrophobic and dark, with almost glowing water to pop out at you with some hints of ruins buried in them. The Church "Hub World" variant was calm and peaceful, with the characters you'll constantly interact with and talk to. The Town was like exploring a place during a recent apocalyptic event, with desolate areas and buildings with only outlaws/raiders(?) being around with few or no civilians. The Sewer system feels like a rehash of the Caves, but with corrupted foes instead. I could go on, but you get the idea, most levels in this game are amazingly designed.

Secondly, the guns feel AMAZING and are extremely varied. In my time, I came across a Mauser lookalike (P38 Dirk), to a...bolt action 50 cal with the magazine as the bolt? Interesting design, but it gave me a good chuckle at the cursed design. The guns feel good to shoot, excellently animated, with nice sounds and look, even if cursed. They're just a pleasant experience to use, especially with the gore system in this game, being brutal. Ripping apart enemies with firearms is a pleasant experience in this game. The customization on them is mostly well done as well.

Thirdly, MOST enemies in this game are well designed and telegraph their attacks well. The first spear goblins winding up an attack is readable to the Asian appearing reptilian humanoids in the Bridge and Fortress area with their short swords and pistol, are easily read to know when to duck for cover or begin strafing. To each boss (minus 1), doing the same.

Unfortunately, that's really about all the good I can say, cause what ultimately keeps me recommending the game is a few things.

Starting small, the game has oils and enchantments/scrolls for weapons when you level them up, which isn't an issue till you see some the options. I remember one oil doing -70% less dmg for bonus pellets/bullets fired out, which winded up being a net negative on total damage. The water applying scroll, makes your gun do less damage, which makes it seem like a priming weapon, if it weren't for 2 things: 1. Limited space and 2. It's faster just to boost gun damage via elements or the more less hurting oils (such as; X% more damage for lessened durability). Not to mention the fact you can't even take off attachments, oils or enchantments/scrolls of a gun, which kills experimenting, because it'll turn into "Well, this gun does the best in 90% of situations, so I might as well stick with it since X ammo is plentiful right now". I would've used more guns if I could regularly pop off the stuff to enhance a gun, if it wasn't for this simple issue.

Secondly, the ENTIRE durability and inventory management system...Why does durability exist? Why does inventory size so small/exist in the way it does? Both feel just shoehorned in without much thought. Guns eat through durability, and by the time an area is done, your weapons are either beat up or outright broken, which leads to spending on repairs. I can definitely understand armor requiring repairs, that's 100% fine, but guns? The inventory being so small actively got in my way a few times when trying to just swap guns, went to try an LMG opps, my shotgun just plopped on the ground by trying to swap to it. Trying to fit something in your inventory you wanna keep, namely the desert eagle look alike? Too bad, you don't got the space....This game isn't survival horror or survival esc in general, these two things do not need to exist in the slightest.

Thirdly, the mutant/corrupted enemies in both the Hedge Maze and Forest areas. The corrupted blobs in the Hedge Maze are annoying, as you simply can't kill them! Oh boy. It's not challenging or engaging at all when all you got to do is just pop the eyes on them, then they regenerate after a bit. It's just a nuisance. The two times I winded up going through the Maze, I just eventually kept running with the sword out since it's just easier to flee them. Word of the wise; If an enemy is more enjoyable to run from then fight in a game that clearly isn't a horror game, say like, Resident Evil, MAYBE do a slight rework? An easy fix would be the Duke Nukem approach and gib their regenerating bodies. As for the Forest area, the heavy unit crow enemies are not at all fun. The previous boss in the Castle section had an attack almost identical to one of theirs: An uber powerful scream. The Castle boss's variant was well telegraphed and only went in 1 direction with plentiful room to get out of the way. The heavy crows version? Hits you through walls, has too much range, with an all too big of a hurtbox with no real ability to dodge, and does not telegraph it, also they can track you with it...FUN. Need I say anymore about how awful and not fun it is to deal with that enemy?

Fourthly: The Desert section is kind'a annoying in general. Hard to see, and bland to look at. The fog? Dust? Is way to thick, and yet doesn't impede the enemies in the slightest for...reasons. Yet, it impedes the player's ability to...see. It eventually just made me rush through it rather than look through the levels.

Fifthly: Before, I say my grievances with the Final Boss aka The Witch, this game's difficulty is kind of too easy? I did have some near death experiences, but I was given so much health, it was an immediate bounce back, and the time's I did get near death, it was cause of me just not paying attention and more or less screwing around. Also helped this game's design for the most part is well done on an appearance scale. However, that goes OUT the window, with The Witch. She is not fun to fight, and has entirely too much health, and summons the already annoying forest mutant crows both medium units and heavy units. She is a difficulty spike for all the wrong reasons and somewhat out of no where. Her attacks range from basic bomb barrages to wave based attacks to Resident Evil styled laser traps you got to crouch or jump over. Also aforementioned summon the bs heavy unit crow mutants from The Forest area. She is the ONLY reason why I died ever playing this game, since I legit ran out of ammo trying to juggle damage on her and the summons she kept doing (which I brought over 600 5.56 rounds and 240 50 cal rounds, between 2 different weapons on top of an energy shotgun with 300 something cells), even when popping the "eggs" she throws out to bring in the damn mutant crows, medium units or heavies. It got to a point before I died, she just kept spamming summons, and there was legit nothing I could do. I don't have an issue with dying to a boss or to an enemy, long as it feels fair, but my first and only death did not feel fair in the absolute slightest, which is why I just turned on the game's invulnerability and just shotgunned her to death, saw the chase sequence, and "beat" the game. I had a similar issue with the Desert Santa boss, but rather the summons being too spongy or outright annoying, I was noticing some weird hitbox issues on him whenever he was...riding on a desert sand swimming pike(?), but 100% fine on the other phases.

I can not simply recommend this game in good faith based on the issues it has and there's a couple smaller things how levels can sometimes just not feel good to explore since they can be so...barren? Or lifeless at times. Music helps a bit, but not much. In this game's current state, I can only give a 3/10. If the mutants in the Forest, The Witch, balancing of oils and such, Desert, and the rest of aforementioned was better, I would've easily given a 8/10. Maybe in the future if the issues get fixed.

After beating it and doing an endless run I can safely say that Sulfur is one of my favorite Extraction/Looter/Boomer Shooter/Roguelike games. It's got the tension of loss on death while also feeling cozy in a way I haven't felt in other games like it.

It's not a terribly difficult game for someone with experience in these genres, but it nails all of the basic elements while also having it's own charm. In my playthrough I died around three or four times over 30 hours so death and loosing gear are not a constant. You can give an NPC 1000 coins (not much in the context of the game) to charge your amulet before entering a raid and then you just have to press "T" before you die and you can go back without losing anything but the coin and the charge.

The enemy variety is good and most of them require some knowledge of their mechanics. The different locations also have their own gimmicks and flavor. The bosses are similar where you need to figure out some basic mechanics but they aren't exceptionally difficult. There is some kind of system where the enemies have multiple sprites that overlay each other, skin, flesh, and bones and when shot these can flake off in various ways to gory effect so its not just the same death animation every time. This makes it incredibly satisfying to mow down a horde of goblins. It's pretty violent but somehow even that adds to the coziness.

Most importantly the game is just a joy to play. The gunplay and movement feel great, probably the best I've found in a boomer shooter style fps, and it's fun to mess around with the weapon building system. There are also loads of different guns and armor items, as well as an insane amount of oils, scrolls, and attachments to add to the weapons as you level them up. The quests are just fetch quests but give a good reason to go back into the previous areas you've completed.

The newest update changed how all the oils work and while I get that people are annoyed, this game does not require the insanely powerful gun builds the devs are trying to prevent with this update. Sulfur is just a great game and I have faith the devs are going to pull it through once 1.0 comes.

好玩吗，好玩，尤其是刚开始玩那一阵子很上头，但是越玩到后头，越觉得无力和不爽。因为这里头尸体是有hitbox的，导致你的子弹打死前一个怪的时候它不会立马倒下，你接下里的子弹会全部被尸体接下来。所以你想刷图就得上穿透油，越往后的地图越是如此，但是穿透油除了穿透这一属性其他的只有负面。不同枪的类型是有不一样的子弹伤害系数的，导致说冲锋枪和手枪压根是垃圾，伤害低，系数低，其他数据也不突出，你以为冲锋枪一定是低后座和快速装弹？错啦，冲锋枪的伤害系数只有1.1，射速越快后坐力越离谱，有后坐力低的冲锋枪吗，有的，射速800，后坐力极低，扩散优秀，但是30发的弹匣你每次装弹三发。导致现在要想爽的话就那么几只枪好用，有改造的价值。除了几只机制比较特别的枪以外，剩下的都是垃圾，这里的垃圾指的是你用A或者用B除了造型以往没有什么不同。一款单机游戏已经发售一年多了，居然还在平衡？平衡的核心就是，让你很爽能乱杀的build改得让你膈应，就像是明明是辆很帅很快的跑车，但是你想开就必须坐在用屎做的座位上然后用舌头舔一下座位才可以启动。除此之外，游戏基本没有局外成长，装备没有随机属性，没有联动属性，所有的build只存在于目前那卡皮炎一样恶心的枪械魔油系统上。你说枪械改装？有确实是有，但是跟没有没啥区别，大部分的枪口你都不会去用，因为有6英寸的枪管的存在。激光是必备的，瞄准镜基本上也不会去用。所以，按照开发商的尿性，可能接下来不是加强配件，而是砍6英寸枪管了吧呵呵哈哈哈傻逼

[i]SULFUR[/i] is the kind of experience which leaves that magical taste in your tongue. It's a combination of looter-shooter and rogue-lite at heart, with a mix of well executed mechanics taken from both genres. It can be a slow, relaxing experience of running through dungeons on your own pace or a hardcore bullet frenzy; making it a uniquely pleasant experience that flows according to what the player has in mind. A solid game, that somehow goes beyond expectations in most fronts.

At first glance, [i]SULFUR[/i] looks like all the other indie projects trying to create something new by mixing and matching various aspects of genres. Thankfully, they actually manage to do so in a particularly entertaining manner here. From the humour to the cohesive art design that is a delicacy in and out of itself novadays, [i]SULFUR[/i] is first and foremost a good game. It does what it should in a solid manner, then goes beyond with additional mechanics to support the gameplay loop.

But, what does it do, actually? In these type of titles, the gameplay should always get the crown. And thankfully, it sure does in [i]SULFUR[/i]. The gunplay feels solid, from how the guns handle to how the enemies react. 2D shells are surprisingly in depth; they have an inner layer to convey the gruesome details of your strikes, enemies may have protected layers that break, each have their own vital areas... Dungeons themselves are another pleasantly surprising part of the gameplay loop; they provide vertical traversal as well, and each area is generated in different foundations. Caves are straightforward corridors; the town is spread out and requires indirect exploration; the sewers add the threat and bounties that comes with submersion and so on. Each with unique enemies, threats, ambushers, bosses... A one hit wonder sniper rifle that carried you in the town might become your end when you are cornered in a small room in the fort, or that shotgun may force you to bail out when the boss turns out to be elevated.

As I was talking about weapons and builds, let me just dive into the enormous amount of choices [i]SULFUR[/i] gives you. The sheer amount of weapons are supplemented by various attachments and a ♥♥♥♥ ton of oils, effects that can change every aspect of a gun. AND on top of all that, you have scrolls and can even change calibers. Scrolls add unique effects and can be infused together to form even more over the top versions of the said effects. You can literally come up with a funky idea, then put together a weapon to do it. How the feel of the gun and your approaches change is just... perfect. You had a pistol you turned into a submachine gun? Good, now turn it into an automatic rail-shotgun that penetrates everything in its way. Why? Why the hell not! Got an assault rifle? Make it a semi automatic railgun that shoots four projectiles at the same time. A peashooter shotgun? Let's make it a literal super soaker. A Zippo lighter that shoots nine millimeter? Yeah, that's also a thing. There is just something magical about getting an idea about a build in [i]SULFUR[/i], then just... doing it. Seeing the weapon come together, leveling it up, applying the oils one by one, taking it for a spin. It just works, and it is so much fun. Despite the sheer amount of stuff for you to go for, the game is also balanced very well, to a degree that if you die, you always know that it was your mistake; which makes the overall experience so much better. And I didn't even get into unique gear effects of armor like walking in the air, or immunities, or... you get the gist. Clearly, the guys at [i]Perfect Random[/i] are people who actually enjoy these type of games, and they are mad talented to bring all these together without any pronounced flaws. There are still so many aspects of the gameplay loop to talk about, but it would take too long and I don't want to spoil the fun for people who will give the game a chance.

The overall aesthetic of the game is another thing to mention. From the 2D enemies to the 3D weapons, from the dark humour of the setting to the art design, from the uncanny tunes to the description based lore of the in between... Everything is cohesive and gives [i]SULFUR[/i] a thoroughly unique taste.

[i]SULFUR[/i] was a pleasant surprise for me, since I'm not that into rogue-lites, or looter shooters. It manages to scratch that itch for everything it does, usually better than its counterparts. The studio behind it is also worthy of praise; since after the last big update, they literally went out of their way to release three hotfixes based on user feedback. In the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ day. If not for anything else, just check it out for these guys and their passion.

Игра кайф но с оговорками, во первых она вообще не ощущается как рогалик это скорее линейная игра на прохождение, она спокойно проходится часов за 7 и за всю игру я умер 3 раза 2 из которых меня убил финальный босс потому что в первый раз я не мог вернутся в церковь что бы подготовится к бою а во второй раз я взял самое неподходящее оружие которое можно было взять для финального босса, где то в середине игры ты понимаешь что возня с инвентарём нафиг не нужна и разрабы могли бы добавить автосортировку от этого игра только выиграла бы, во вторых в игре нет эндгейма от слова совсем, максимум что она может предложить это бесконечный режим где ты просто бегаешь по кругу отстреливаешь от монстров и повышаешь уровень и навыки как в vampire survivors, так же в игре присутсвует система квестов которая ну вообще не окупается, условно королева крыс просит у тебя кепку в обмен на 1 марку и для того что бы сдать этот квест ты сначало должен найти эту кепку а после бегать по канализации раз за разом зачищая её в надежде наткнутся на неё что бы отдать кепку ради 1 марки на которую ты не сможешь ничего обменять из-за неоправданно огромных цен на постоянные улучшения, проще за 1 марку войти в бездну продержаться 1 этаж и конвертировать весь опыт в марки но опять же бездна открывается после прохождения игры а улучшения хотелось бы получить во время прохождения сюжета а за весь сюжет ты наврятли накопишь хотя бы на 1 улучшения хранилища. Я определённо рекомендую её к прохождению но если вы ищите прям рогалик рогалик то я вас предупредил.

I would generally recommend it, but it's on the line.

Soundtrack and art style are on point.
Putting together your guns is, in theory, very fun.

There are a few things that bug me though:
- The rooms/levels are very samey.
> It get's repetitive fast.

- You have to grind a lot for materials while on the other hand, inventory space is very limited
> Multiple times I had to straight up miss out on boss loot, bc I already was stuffed with other/better items

- A lot of oils don't seem to be worth it, stat-wise.
> So you have tons of stuff lying around that might be useful, but not enough to feel like you would put it on your hard earned leveled up gun.

- A NPC that gives you 1 recipe when you talk to them would be nice.

I enjoy the idea and appreciate the effort, but the game in it's current state feels too grindy to me.
Especially doing re-runs of easier stages, just to gather stuff makes it boring and repetitive.

The weapon enchantment system & guesswork are cool ideas, but don't not mix well with the gameplay loop. I don't wanna "try something out" if I can't remove enchants (without major downsides) and it'll take ages to get that oil back. You can spend hours making the perfect gun, only to make it absolute ♥♥♥♥ because you have to make assumptions on how an enchantment works, or are working with wrong information from the discord. You might also just loose a really good armor set you spent hours on because you die and this is an extraction shooter. Overall the grind to get a good set of gear and how easy it is to die is completely unbalanced.

A very smooth feeling shooter with roguelike mechanics. Most of the fun is in customising the weapons into monstrous abominations that barely resemble their original form.

Some of my favourites:
An assault rifle modified to fire shotgun shells, with it's projectile count multiplied by 800%, with each projectile having a 30% chance to electrocute an enemy and each projectile being able to penetrate 2 times (retriggering the 30% chance on every hit). I had to trade accuracy so it showers most of the screen, but with that many projectiles you really can't miss. I imagine that Willem Dafoe looking up in horror meme whenever I jump above a group of enemies and rain down 56 lightning charged pellets.

A laser pistol, small and unassuming that does 2 damage per shot, with 4 shots each... Except every shot is also explosive and the explosions do 30 damage each. It has zero recoil and perfect accuracy, and fits neatly in the inventory as a backup weapon or wall-breaker. Really makes you feel like Han Solo with a souped-up blaster.

A laser shotgun. Pretty normal except it doesn't consume ammo ammo and has twice as many projectiles per shot. It would be double-barreled with a long loading time, but because it doesn't use ammo it doesn't need to reload, so it basically fires as fast as you can pull the trigger. Oh, and every bullet is holy, so whenever an enemy is hit by a projectile, they take more damage from every subsequent projectile. With it being a shotgun, this ramps up rather quickly.

There are many more combinations too.

My only criticism would be that I wish there was even more variety and synergy.

That and automatic weapons tend to do poorly compared to single shot rifles or shotguns, since weapons have durability and ammo and automatic weapons burn through both much faster. They're fun to use on hordes but not efficient and therefore rarely a weapon of choice.

The art style is good and the story is interesting too. Kept me guessing up to the end.

A solid game with good replay value. Looking forward to even more content and crazy gun combinations in future.

The core gameplay loop is very fun. I'm not normally a roguelike guy for what it's worth, but I'm really enjoing this. the cooking mechanic is neat as hell and the whole thing rewards you for building your knowledge about what everything does. (false sulfcaps are way more valuable than you might think, don't sleep on them!) I like that the amulet rewards you for playing somewhat cautiously and allows you to build a little collection of decent loot, extraction-shooter style, so you can prepare yourself for your "real" run at the goal.

The writing is really solid and quite funny. The NPCs are really well characterised and lots of fun!

I originally played a free version of this game, but I liked it so much I felt compelled to pay for it.

このゲームはとにかく序盤が辛い。
与えられる初期武器は拳銃と脇差だけ。
敵はそんな貴方に情け容赦などせず、多対一は当たり前で、リンチ、連携攻撃、挟み撃ち、不意打ち、搦め手、デバフとありとあらゆる手段を使って貴方を殺しに来ます。
でも、プレイヤーは決して無力ではありません。
何度もステージを周回し、装備を集め、銃を強化し、アイテムのレシピを開拓し、敵の動きを熟知し、自分なりの戦術を確立した時、狩られる側から狩る側になるのです。
とにかく最初は物資も乏しく、理不尽に思う要素も多いですが、そこを乗り越えて第２ステージ以降に一気に味が出る、何なら遊べば遊ぶほど味が濃くなるスルメゲーです。
銃や戦術のビルド構築が好きな人にはお勧めです。

i feel like so far my overall experience would denote one of those good ol metaphorical "sideways thumb" recommendations currently. the tl;dr? go play the demo, youll figure out if its your thing from that alone.

i really like the gameplay experience and the general mechanics at play, but the early game is brutal to an unpleasant degree. you'll die a lot, and when you do, you lose everything you were carrying with zero way of recovering it. the game offers ways to salvage those items, but theyre rng based or dependent on you having money, and the main way of doing it also stops the entire run as if you died. a lot of the early game survival strats are just purely based on "if the game decided to let you do it this run", and its so so mean and cruel. and if its not stuff like that, it's things like the ghost enemies blasting your butt outta nowhere because you didnt notice the >1 second white flash that denoted its existence in the room, or a common enemy type suddenly throwing a whole explosive barrel at you that kills you at full health. it sucks!

and yet...its just got that perfect stickiness to it that makes me keep going, or makes me come back for more. its become my new game to pop on when watching videos or listening to music (side note; the music in this is really really good, but given ive not managed to escape the first area at all yet...) so yeah, its a weird thing for me to recommend. you need to be both into the gameplay loop and also be okay with constantly dying and losing your stuff until youve finally gathered enough stuff thatll carry you through an area, which makes it difficult for me to just say "oh yeah, you should check this out" to friends and people in general.

The recent update was a really big miss... Especially the oil and recoil changes. Moreso, I'm upset that a lot of my guns I made are just virtually bad now, and the only way I can make them no longer bad is by completely removing all the oils I put on them and destroying said oils. Wasting all that time I used getting said oils. If there was a way to take off the oils and get them back like the attachments I think I would be less upset.

This is a great game, but man, please consider either reverting this update, or giving it one more passover

普通のARやLMGから二丁拳銃に折りたたみ式SG、更にはライター型HGまで様々な武器が登場し、それらに魔法のオイルでエンチャントすることでぶっ飛んだ武器が作れます。
ロケットを放つSRから文字通りの水鉄砲まで色々作ってあそぼう！[strike]まあこれらの武器には実用性ないけど[/strike]

・キュートなアートスタイルから来るゴア要素
かわいい見た目に反してゴア要素が強く、死体撃ちでいわゆる「死のダンス」を踊らせたりドロップ品の臓器で料理を作ったりできます。人肉ソーセージは回復アイテムとして意外と優秀。
もちろん爆発物で殺すと(デフォルメされた)肉片を周囲に撒き散らします。

・(今のところ)ソロ専用&オフライン
ルーターシューターではあるもののオンライン要素は無く、上級者に蹂躙されたりせずに自分のペースで楽しめます。チーターの心配もありません！

・日本語訳が少しだけおかしい
Crypt Key(墓所の鍵)が暗号キーだったり、Father's Shirt(神父の服)が父の服だったりするなど少しだけ翻訳がおかしい所がある。
細かい部分がズレているだけで翻訳全体の質は十分です。

[h3]わるいところ[/h3]

・やや歪な難度
基本的には緩めの難度ですが、中盤辺りからだんだんと嫌がらせ方面にシフトしていく。

ちょうど中盤あたりのエリアでは、小柄な上に素早い敵が登場し、猛スピードで距離を詰めて殴ってくる。
更にその次のエリアでは、弱点以外無敵のくせに弱点を撃たれると画面全体をエフェクトで覆う敵が。(前のエリアボスのくせに雑魚扱いで各エリアに複数出現するとか恥ずかしくないの？)

ゲーム後半エリアには、ダメージを受けるとガードして短時間無敵になる雑魚や、回転しながら突進してくる(回転中は無敵)雑魚、地中に潜る(潜っている間は無敵。近づいて攻撃を誘わないと長時間潜り続ける)雑魚などが出現する。しかも雑魚枠なので各フロアに頻繁に。

ボスもほとんどが無敵時間を持っており、終盤のボスには「バトロワゲーばりに制限されたエリア(エリア外に出ると継続ダメージ)で戦わされる」くせに「何度も(無敵になって)エリア外に移動し、エリア自体がボスのもとに移動するまで耐久させられる」ヤツまでいる。

ラスボスに至っては[u]戦闘開始前に[/u]無駄に変身を繰り返し、そのたびにフラッシュを発生させることで主人公ではなくプレイヤーに直接ダメージを与えてくる。[strike]ポ◯モ◯ショックかな？[/strike]

また、プロシージャル生成の影響で敵のスポーンポイントが非常に近くなる事が(たまに)発生し、捌ききれない数(中盤までのエリアは一本道のため、部屋のつながり次第では通常の2~3倍くらい)に飲まれて死ぬこともある。

・武器間のバランスが悪い
明確な強弱が存在するのはしょうがないものの、SGに同時発射数増加と爆発弾(＋空いたスロットにダメージ増加や耐久値増加)をつけるのが実質最強になっている一方で、SRなどはファイヤレートや装弾数の問題でとにかく使い辛い。[strike]爆発SGが最強、Fallout4かな？[/strike]

なお、使用弾薬を変更するアイテムがあるため最終的には12ゲージに換装したSMGなどに上記のSGビルドを組むことになる。というかそうしないと押し切られて死ぬ。

・実績
このゲームで一番取得率が低い実績は「エンドレスモードでエリア20をクリア」です。

エンドレスモード(FPS版ヴァンサバ)の各エリアは8ウェーブあり、実績取得のためには[u]20×8で160ウェーブすべて通しでクリア[/u]する必要があります。

私は公式チート機能(無敵)とMODでオイル盛り盛り&耐久値消費なしの武器を思考放棄でぶっ放し続けても3時間かかりました。

通常のプレイでは間違いなくそれ以上の時間が掛かりますが、はっきり言って[u]ワンミスで全てが水の泡になるリスクを抱えながら耐久値に気を揉みつつ数時間ぶっ通しでプレイし続ける[/u]など正気の沙汰ではありません。

ちなみにエリア19ではボスが同時に4体(さらに2体の追加あり)出現し、エリア20ではすべてのボスが2体ずつ順番に出現する地獄が待っています。[strike]テストプレイした？[/strike]

[h3]おわりに[/h3]

終盤の敵の遅延行為、武器バランスなど気になる点もありますが、十分に遊べるゲームですので「ルーターシューターは気になるけどオンラインで上級者の養分になるのはちょっと…」という方にもおすすめできます。

そうでない方でもこのゲームが気になっているのであればウィッシュリスト&フォローでセール(EA卒業前の最終セールなど)待ちする価値はあります。

ただし実績コンプにこだわる方には全くおすすめできません。上記のように狂っている上にマルチ対応等で更に面倒な実績を追加しかねないし。

Good animations, satisfying when gunning down enemies, and sounds but progression feels slow and unrewarding. Very unforgiving when u die which causes lost of interest very quickly. Most of the upgrades feel useless and the food cooking system is like a game in itself. So many items to cook it seems like its compensating for the lack of actual good upgrades. Btw, you'll find yourself on the wiki page trying to figure out recipes for the food items you find and how many recipes there are and trust me when I say this, it's a lot. Good thing they added a QoL update, helps a bit, pfff. Good luck with inventory space if you're trying to cook complex recipes.

I had this game sitting on my shelf(library) for some time and came back to it. Still wanting more out of it. Ill throw it back on my shelf to collect dust and hope for more QoL updates that make it enjoyable. Shameful 4/10.

You can still get decently OP for early game after the rebalances, you just gotta get weird with your ideas. Most bounce oils reduce damage, but if you get weapons that have pellets or multishot, it tends to balance out.
Have your other gun cover the weakness of the first. Lots of spread? Have something more accurate. Low fire rate? Get a pistol or an SMG. Low Damage? Big sniper tends to do the trick.

I am quite mixed about this game.
Should it cost 2x less - would be definitely yes. I still give it a positive review, after playing it for 8 hours and not wanting to play more, because I had my fun and I don't regret buying it, but there is some sour taste to it.

In an essence this is a mix of extraction shooter and a linear roguelike. It definitely has it's own style and unique elements, but there are also some elements dragging it down.

- This game is coherent about it's style and atmosphere and definitely does not try to be too serious about it. There are a lot things that made me smile, although the humor itself can be a bit disgusting. If an idea of eating earthworms to restore health or bringing kidney stones as a quest item is fine for you - you'll be fine.

- Gunplay is not very interesting. Recoil seems rather uncontrollable, bullet spread is high and damage is not very much. Ammo for interesting guns seems scarce and expensive, forcing you to certain weapons most of the time. I would want to run about with whatever weapon I like, but the economy would not let me.

- You can modify guns with new parts and various enchantments. The choise is solid, although many improvements will be rather a curse than a blessing. And there are a lot, that reduce your movement speed, which is just cancerous. Games are fun when you move around at 40mph, like in doom 1994, these are just facts. You also have to gain experience with that specific weapon to improve it, so you can't immediately apply everything you want. If you die - this exp is lost with all your gear.

- Level design is not very good. There is sometimes a lot of verticality and parkour. This game is not about jumping around, until it is, and I don't like it. Room diversity is also low, so you quickly notice running the same rooms all the time. This element of the game is something I definitely do NOT like.

- When you die - you lose everything you carried. You can find a stash chest (although rarily), so you can send some stuff home, and you can also forfeit the run and teleport home early with the help of your talisman. There are several progressively harder "floors" you have to beat, meta progression is done by accumulating better gear from easier floors and upgrading guns (which you may lose in an unfair encounter). You can repeat any floot you want to gear up.

- Crafting system has a ton of recipies, although 90% of them is about crafting food from all the trash you find around. There's about a thousand different recipies, but food is food, it just restores health over time and rarely does something else. So it all is about storing the most healing potential in least amount of inventory space. You can carry around some useless foods to craft better ones later. So it is wide as the ocean, but not very deep. In the beginning you will unlock recipies by guessing them. Don't be afraid, sometimes you can find/buy recipy books.

Overall 6.5 / 10, can be worth it on a discount.
It definitely needs more level diversity and more engaging gunplay.

Made 7-03-26 : it fun game but reading the discussions and it kinda disapointing the devellopers arent fully listening to the comunity and instead trying to make it more and more unfun, they arent listening to players so maybe they will listen to more adn more downvotes until they really start involving the comminuty with votes and expanding the game

(from the discussion it feel more balanced if it was multiplayer and not just single player and fun which they could fix by adding diffulties to the game instead with rewards adn drop/weapon debuffs)

Devs decided to, in a single patch, ruin their game by unilaterally nerfing to hell and back every single thing players liked and used, in a SINGLEPLAYER game. They could have buffed the other oils and attachments to get them on par with the rest, they could have tweaked the best "meta" oils to remove stuff such as infinite ammo builds to promote build variety, but they decided the nuclear option was the best option. So now, if you decide to upgrade your weapons, you simply don't get to hit anything because your spread and recoil go through the roof with every upgrade applied. And with the toxicity of the community towards any and all criticism, and borderline worship of the dev team, this nerfhammer is very unlikely to be lifted.
And right after I decided to buy the game because the "friend's" copy I had made me like the game so much that I played only it for two weeks straight. Guess Perfect Random is just another dev team whose games I'll be filing under the "Do Not Buy".
EDIT: If you, like me, want to continue playing the game through Steam, but don't want to play the post-butcher version because the devs are too lazy to have rollback versions like reputable devs, all you need to do is get version 0.14.14 of the game and copy the files, minus the game's executable, into the game's folder. Voila, you can continue using Steam, get achievements, use in-game overlay, all the good Steam things, minus the last patch.

There's so many options to customize your guns, it's just kinda sad that the only real gameloop is walk backwards while you shoot at mobs. My converted revolver with 250 damage still needs 4 shots to down a guy. Kinda bloated enemy hp. Guns feel great, the loop doesn't.

今回のアプデでオイルに変更が加えられ、評価180度変えるきっかけになった。
PvEのゲームでユーザーの声切り捨てて、ナーフに走って成功してる例ないでしょ。

少人数での開発と何処かで聞いたから、開発の｢楽に攻略されたら悔しいじゃんっ笑｣って自我をよけいに感じたわ。

そもそも、ローグライクって時間をかけてコツコツと装備をより良く、探索をより楽に…ってのはデフォルトだとおもってたのですが……。

その労力や探索時のロストのリスクと引き換えに集めたオイルや武器で、｢自分だけの最強の銃をつくる！｣…ってところが楽しみじゃないの？違うの？

魅力的なゲームが次々と出てくる中。
その中からこのゲームを選び、長く楽しんでくれているユーザーをコケにするような対応だと思った

Ok. SO I want to love this game. And I did.

But this latest patch makes me stop loving it. (The "Scholar's Update" patch for those wondering and the future potential review viewers.)
This patch rebalanced 100+ oils and nerfed a lot of the "good" ones to the point of making some gun builds completely unviable or outright impossible now. And before I get the "every oil has a niche" people screeching at me: Yes. I've heard your arguments but I disagree with most of them. There's a high opportunity cost for several oils that need specialty builds to work well if at all. But those builds aren't easy or quick to put together, and many of them just got that much harder to put together or took a permanent nerf. And if that wasn't enough of a gut punch, they ALSO capped our ammo.
Why?
Who knows. It's a bad idea in this case though. It's yet another nerf, just an indirect one on high RPM weapons; sad part is I know I've burned through more ammo then the caps starting in town and just following through to the next areas one after another. That means I would have had to end a run because I didn't have anymore bullets and I didn't get lucky enough to find enough for a gun I picked up to be viable. I *suspect* it's a reaction and nerf on players trying to go absurdly high numbers in endless but honestly it just feels like a poorly thought out excuse to slap a new artificial limit on players. Especially infinite ammo and high RPM gun builds where we didn't have that limitation before.
The few good things that came from this patch though were three new guns and a rework of attachments. Oh and I suppose some some optimization and a little tweak of how elemental "puddles" work for better performance, a dash of QOL, and some bug fixes.

I'm still really disappointed with this patch though, and now it's making me question if the success up to this point was just a fluke or if the devs will listen and roll back some of the questionable choices made in this major update of if they'll double down.
And I have beat the game, for anyone wondering. The Desert boss threw me for a loop for how silly and weird it is and the final boss did take me a few tries because I didn't want to just burn through her with meta guns.

初期の頃はバグで進行不能だとか、レシピ開放が地力or攻略を見る以外になかったり、強い武器が偏ってるので武器選択の幅も狭く、光る物はあるのに時々残念な要素が見え隠れする作品でした。
それでも私個人としては楽しめていたので、お気に入りの武器防具を集めたり便利アイテムを量産して遊んでいたのですが・・・

現在は度重なるアップデートにより、かなりユーザーフレンドリーな仕様になったと思っています。
死ねば全ロスというのが気になる方も居るかもしれませんが、本作はローグライトな作品らしく武器や防具なんかのアイテムを拠点倉庫にしまっておけるので、完全に降り出しに戻るような事はまず無いでしょう。
武器限定ですが死亡時にロストせず持ち帰れるようになる効果を付与するアイテムもありますし。

それでも絶対にロストしたくない、お気に入りの装備がある時は倉庫に置いておいて２つ目が手に入るまでしまっておきましょう、本作は繰り返しマップ周回していれば同じアイテムがそこそこドロップしてくれます（マップによってドロップアイテムに違いアリ）。

全体的なゲーム難易度は高めの部類に入るかと思われます。
想像しているよりもプレイヤーは脆いので一瞬の迷いや操作ミスが死に繋がる為、人にもよりますが最初から死亡しまくる事もあるでしょう。
しかし、序盤を抜ければだいぶ安定してくるので、そこからは余裕もできて楽しめるんじゃないかな？
装備をカスタマイズし、回復＆バフアイテムを揃えておけば難易度もそれなりに下がるので、シューティングゲーム苦手だったりな人でもやれなくはないと思います（初見殺し感ある一部ボスが難関かも）。

面白いゲームをありがとう！まだアップデートもあるようで楽しみ、これからも応援しています。

在这个日期的更新实装前这游戏10分满分我能给到9,刷的爽,搜的爽,屯的爽,组装好一把无限弹药的枪后进图突突就完事了.
更新后,这游戏就从休闲模式的鸭科夫变成了加MOD自虐模式的塔科夫.
我可以接受你砍无限弹药武器,毕竟这玩意太过超模.但携带备弹上限这玩意什么时候取消,这条评论什么时候改成好评.

im not that big a fan of extraction games but Sulfurs art and gunplay got me in the door. Ive had so much fun in a genera i would have never looked at twice, big fan of this game. 10/10 would recommend. if you enjoy a ton of guns and near endless ways to modify them, this game is an easy pickup imo. ive been around for 2 or 3 major updates and each one has been massive in terms of QoL and balance.
keep up the good work on this title!

There is a lot to like about this game, but once you reach this stage that I and others are at you pretty much hit a brick wall of diminishing returns and most of it is in the gun building a core aspect of the game.

So, oils and scrolls suck, when the game first came out and was slower they both were fine but now that the game is faster and actually requires and rewards dynamic movement from the player 90% oils and scrolls are a hinderance. Think of it as which gun can you make suck the least rather then which gun can you make the best. Imo There are about 5 oils and 5 scrolls that are legitimately useful ( there are 200ish oils and 30ish scrolls).

The gun parts have similar issue to oils and scrolls where the same handful of parts are used again and again because they are the most useful so why would you use a lesser version?

There are just too many caveats with building guns that nuke any fun that could be had and as you play the game more and more it becomes apparent that building guns is pointless because deviating from the "good" oils, scrolls and parts results in you dying so why even experiment with different builds.

Game is absolutely worth it even at full price just (as of right now) don't expect anything spectacular after finishing the game.

本格撤离射击游戏，枪械定制是最大亮点。

但是！这个游戏完全把抢先体验游戏分段式更新内容的利弊展现的淋漓尽致，游戏体验有很明显的巨大落差。中间制作组枯水期制作了4张几乎诈骗级别的大地图，里面的怪物种类几乎一样且没有新boss。但是打完之后，突然来了一张全都是新内容的大地图，然后之后所有的怪突然不再重复了，莫名其妙的。

遊戲死亡懲罰太高了，可能有不知情的玩家覺得就是要痛苦，通關時才會覺得更滿足，但這套邏輯我覺得不適用在這款遊戲。首先，集齊一套堪用的裝備是一件非常漫長的事，需要反覆刷無聊重複的關卡，不小心暴斃就喜提重刷券一張，暴斃的痛苦比肉鴿那種死掉重開的痛苦還要難受一百倍，歸功裡面一個很討人厭的機制，就是裝設槍械附魔要練"槍的等級"，暴斃除了整把槍掉了以外，你要重新拿到那把順手的槍要靠你的運氣去刷，刷完還要重練。打完怪不一定掉"東西"，刷東西慢回饋感又很差。

可微調部分
1.人物吸金幣的力度不夠，打完怪也不會馬上全掉出來，導致要速刷資源或是關卡時，玩起來很黏手
2.做菜系統真的要改掉，直接顯示配方會讓遊戲體驗好很多，我知道作者希望我們用常識去做料理，但是裡面怪奇的食材就很難去判斷，料理又是一個很重要的回血手段，都要死到臨頭了，玩家根本不會有耐心去排列組合，乾脆上網找食譜表。繞這一圈不如官方直接先放好食譜表(不想捨棄探索玩法的話就做成可開關的模式)
3.槍的等級直接改成那把槍的精熟度會更好，或是乾脆拿掉，一把一把練真的毫無意義，只會浪費玩家的時間跟對遊戲的耐心

我覺得遊戲的想法是很有趣的，但是給人的回饋感是小於時間付出的，目前而言這是一個的"難"玩的遊戲，不過還是期待他們修正後的成品

Cool game with a big flaw:

the levels take hours to complete if you dont speed run them and you cant save or leave, if you wanna play trough a level you have to stick to it from start to finish and if you die or leave, you basically loose everything and go trough the same level again.

Also its way to many rooms that look the same, its getting boring real quick and i dont even see a reason why its this many rooms in a level, this sadly ruins the game for me, i dont wanna spend 2 hours playing a single level, going trough the same rooms again and again.

And nearly every single enemy just sprints towards you, this is beyond unintresting. You basically run away, turn around, shoot, reload and repeat.

I dont understand the 90% positive rating, yes the artstyle and music is cool but it doesnt make the core game loop more enjoyable.

This game is genuinely awesome. I havent seen the final two biomes yet, but holy cow is there so much to do. Collecting and hoarding food and weapons, becoming rich, making unique weapons. This game has it all. I highly recommend if you like extraction shooters at all

Not sure how this is getting so much high ratings. I don't even mind the extraction shooter bit as much as I normally would, but the level and combat design is utterly banal. It's just a big room, and as soon as you step in everything comes at you. It's a run-backwards-without-getting stuck simulator and you die not because of enemies, but because of your reload time.
