With so many bugs, this game should be still on beta phase. Many times main character sticked to some environment parts and I had to restart game loosing progress. Game is also boring af, after some time I couldn`t wait to finish it to remove it from pc.

I won't call it a very high difficulty game, if you want that, look elsewhere. But it's a great game.
But everything hs been put together incredibly well.
This game exploits the fact that Aegis is an automaton with nonhuman physiology in its design.
I won't say it fits all players, and its definitely not in the category of "extremelty smooth" but I will say its a great game, I enjoyed it

Steelrising is most definitely a project made with a lot of love. While yes, some people have had performance issues, and there may be small glitches/bugs, I will say I thoroughly enjoyed this game as a Soulsborne fan and a history nerd. The enemy variety may be small, but it does make sense storywise.

I have one nitpick about the area sizes. A minimap (possibly in the top-right corner, above the pop-up when you pick up items) would be helpful. As of this comment, I am on NG+ and hope to get the DLC soon!

Соулс лайк для расслабления.
Идеально для тех кто хочет поиграть в жанр но раньше не играл или просто не хочет страдать. Ко всем врагам легко подбирается тактика, боссы всегда на просторных аренах, за 1 - 2 ошибки враги не наказывают. Можно пользоваться компасом который показывает метки заданий.
Для тех кто прошёл дарк соулсы игра покажется простой. За прохождение поймал 1 баг (кнопка взаимодействия перестала быть активной) вылечился перезаходом.

ПС: Играл на высоких настройках: комп не грелся, игра не лагала. При этом комп на много скромнее чем у тех кто пишет про фризы на низких настройках графики.

Пытался настроить что-то играбельное, лопнуло терпение, удалил. Забыл. Лучше ДС 3 еще раз пройти, чем тратить нервы на это.

This is a humble souls like where enemies do not scale with your power and there's no weird build synergies. It can be difficult in early mid game, but once this is overcomed rest of the game is not frustrating. If you do not speed it up and pick all the fights you can easily finish later bosses at first attempt. Full game is like 12 to 20 hours depend on skill, and your orientation skills in a burned down Paris. I finished in 19 (slow pace all the sidequests and not good at souls likes). Graphics not stunning but quite good, and anything steampunk (or should I say [spoiler]soulpunk[/spoiler]) and about french revolution is good

I picked this up heavily discounted on steam sale (think 90% off or more) and with that in mind it is totally worth playing. The story is one of the highlights. Visually looks pretty good and has a good art-style. If you have some familiarity with soulslikes this game is VERY easy. Bosses in particular are super super easy to the point of being kinda lame except for the designs. You can make it harder on yourself though like all soulslikes.

Steam Deck note: it works and runs well but looks quite muddy which makes it difficult to read some of the enemies so recommend playing on PC.

Overall a cool game that is worth playing if you get it on sale.

I'm not recommending because it's bad but because there's much better options.
I try to hold games to their own merit but this game really isn't worth your time when there are other better Soulslikes.
It's not offensively bad and it does it's things I personally haven't seen other soulslikes do and pulls a lot of stuff from Metroidvanias too. But it doesn't particularly do those things well or interesting enough to hold your attention.
I think with some tweaks and spit shine it could at least be a decent game but as is it's just janky and uninteresting. This game has a lot of platforming sections and while doing a platforming section to get back to the cart so I can move on to the next area, I fell between a wall and a rock and got permanently stuck as it decided to auto save right there and no previous saves meaning I would have to restart the whole game and lost all motivation. It gives a strong first impression but past that it's not that great. I've played worse but there are so many stronger souls likes and even the souls games available on steam, I don't think this is worth your time.

Another interesting game in Spiders catalogue. With quite a number of flaws, but also a number of interesting ideas and directions. To put it shortly - Steelrising is a Souls-like with more focus on aggressive combat and a pinch of Metroid-like traversal tools. With latter feeling a bit underused and underbaked - [spoiler]only 3 tools in the game, which you get in the first third or so[/spoiler]. Difficulty of the game is a bit of a mixed bag - some groups of enemies can be rather challenging, but also the game tends to throw abundance of consumable healing items (that work like Lifegems from Dark Souls 2) in abundance, on top of refilling healing flask-like consumable and a couple more ways to replenish health.

What it succeeds at, I feel, is being a rather great visually looking game. With interesting world setup, 18th century France isn't used often. Combat can be decently enjoyable, with quite alright variety of the weapons and equipment for a more budget title. Level design can be decently interconnected, have some verticality to it. Enviornments are quite detailed.

Where Steelrising comes a bit short is in details. The story and characters are a bit flat and somewhat simplistic. Enemy roster, while decently sized, does happen to reuse similar enemy designs with some adjustments quite often. Level design, while attempting to reproduce the interconnected nature genre is known for (and succeeding to an extent) is somewhat rough. Sometimes level stretches with little shortcuts (or shortcuts being not that great) and checkpoints. Other times you experience almost no opposition before reaching next checkpoint. Environment is detailed and eye catching at times, but often lacks more nuanced storytelling through visuals. Fighting groups of enemies isn't always fun, despite some quality of life features (certain enemy attacks can hit their friendliest, for example). Certain enemies and bosses tend to possess quick enough strikes that they can overly punish slower weapons, pushing player towards faster types with less animation recovery.

All in all, I think this game is quite a good fun despite some shortcomings. Especially at the price it normally gets on sale. With that in mind, I'd rather give it a thumbs up. I do appreciate studios not being afraid of trying new genres and having a few fun ideas on how to stand out.

Me gustó el concepto de los autómatas en el París de la monarquía, van a decir que se parece a Lies of P pero este juego salió un año antes, las mecánicas están bien, la historia es decente, pero hay que ponerle atención para entenderle, los rivales siento que si se ponen repetitivos con el paso del gameplay y los bosses no son un reto súper exigente, creo que le falta un poco en las cinemáticas y en los npc que se parecen mucho, en resumen buen juego, entretenido y para empezar en los souls si aún no han jugado ya que no tienen una dificultad tan alta.

Es un juego bueno, denle una oportunidad!

Steelrising is a fantastic soulslike. It's not perfect, but when it hits, it REALLY hits. The weightiness of combat is a masterclass in using classic cinematic techniques to achieve satisfying swings. Stamina management is a core aspect and the heft of weapons crashing into automatons goes a long way to emphasize the importance of smart combat decisions. Bloodborne is the golden standard for "chunky" combat mechanics, and Steelrising does a very good job of replicating those brutal attacks.

Enemy variety has been so-so but each enemy type is wholly unique and fun to engage in combat. The music and set design are fantastic. It's a very pretty game. Platforming is at times unclear but clever regardless. There are teasers of inaccessible areas heavily dashed throughout the game, making you want to unlock more abilities to come back and explore further, much like a metroidvania.

There are (subjectively) great QoL updates. Most every cornerstone of soulslikes is available at any "bonfire." You can purchase back anything you sell for a reasonable markup; even upgraded weapons are available at the same level they were sold. This forgiveness won't be for everyone, but it will certainly reduce frustrations for the average player.

I personally enjoy the voice acting and overarching storyline. (Even if the character models are a bit stiff.) The blend of French and English can make remembering names and places a challenge for the average American.

Through it all, it's easy to see a lot of heart has been put into Steelrising. Any fan of the soulslike genre will find a lot to love in this game.

I don't have words to describe how good this game looks, for its price its incredible. The atmosphere is great and I played the first 6 hours in a single day non-stop because its that good of a game.

The Gameplay is like some already said feels a little robotic, but it feels like it was suppose to be this way. The timming to block/parry is cruel and for some reason the Regular enemies are more dangerous and harder than the bosses until now.

Performance its kinda weird. I Have some Stuttering mostly in the second map, but I Use the Smooth Motion in the Nvidia Panel to solve it and get the 144fps my monitor supports and its great

Porém, pra quem se importa com enredo e narrativa, vc é apenas uma garota de recados pau mandado de nada mais nada menos que Robspierre, quem manja de história sabe quem é essa peça,. Romantiza os jacobinos como os santos e heróis históricos. Não se vê uma cabeça cortada, uma gilhotina o jogo todo, quem conhece Robspierra sabe que esse sujeito era tão perverso e psicopata quanto o rei que ele se dizia combater.

Was very interesting learning more about the French Revolution & the persons involved, a glimpse into their personal history too. Game was fairly balanced, although after the first major boss - was easy enough to get overpowered over time. I enjoyed it overall - just think the first few areas are rather bland, so you have to give it a few hours before it gets interesting. Also, couldnt run above lowest settings - so it doesnt look as good as it could. I can run Cyberpunk 2077 and it looks great on my 3050, but this game looks comparable to Dishonored at times, which came out many years ago. May just be an optimization issue.

My verdict - give it a chance.

Das Spiel hätte eine nette Soulslike-Alternative zu den bekannten Genregrößen sein können. Das Szenario erinnert entfernt an Bloodborne, das war es dann aber auch schon. Leider fängt es schon bei der PC Portierung an. Ja, das Spiel sieht auf maximalen Einstellungen ganz schick aus, gleicht dann aber eher einer Diavorstellung. Auch die Steuerung ist für ein Soulslike nicht direkt genug. Ständig hat man das Gefühl, dass Aegis immer einen Schritt zuviel macht und Richtungswechsel erst verspätet ausführt. Man könnte denken, das liegt an der Performance des Spiels, aber auch bei sehr niedrigen Einstellungen hat man diese Verzögerungen.
Spielspaß kann dennoch ein wenig aufkommen, so wurden die Preise für Granaten und auch deren Verfügbarkeit angepasst. Ein Durchmarsch mit diesen ist somit nicht mehr möglich... ist aber in den meisten Fällen auch gar nicht notwendig. Die Gegner sind leider größtenteils Massenware, es gibt immer die gleichen 4 bis 5 davon... Diese unterscheiden sich nur durch unterschiedliche Elementarschäden. Mal Frost, mal Blitz, mal Feuer... Das kennt man. Die Angriffsmuster bleiben aber immer gleich.
Die Story bleibt weitestgehend uninteressant, was verschmerzbar wäre, wenn alles Übrige passen würde.
Somit ist das hier ein mittelmäßiges Soulslike, das man sich im Sale mal anschauen kann. Für mehr reicht es nicht... Zum Standardpreis nicht empfohlen, im Sale ist es gerade noch akzeptabel. Kauft man sich das Spiel im Sale, gibt es so eben noch einen Daumen hoch.

Первая моя игра подобного жанра.
Первое впечатление - очень красивая графика. Играл на средних настройках на ноутбучной rtx 3050 (4 гб) и проседаний фпс, о которых говорилось в других отзывах, почти не встретил - стабильные 50-70 фпс. НО: 2 раза игра без причины ушла в 27-30 фпс и не стремилась возвращаться к хорошим показателям. Решилась данная проблема простым перезаходом в игру: сразу всё стало нормально. Графика в этой игре меня впечатлила.
Теперь что касается геймплея. Сначала было просто очень неприятно: первого босса я не мог долго убить. После долгих мучений у меня наконец это получилось, и только потом я узнал, что бить врагов нужно было наведя на них курсор, нажав на правый стик) В игре это почему-то сказано не было или я это как-то пропустил, но как я поначалу ругался, когда не мог понять, почему главная героиня всё время промахивается мимо соперника! :D Уже хотел и забросить игру, но с появлением этого знания стало, конечно, полегче :)
Чем дальше играешь, тем становится легче) Прокачиваясь, уже скоро для меня многие соперники стали как орешки) а боссов я проходил максимум со второй попытки и некоторые показались мне слабее обычных врагов, которые могут убить тебя буквально за считанные удары. Но стоит отметить, что примерно до середины игры я в режиме помощи снизил наполовину урон, получаемых от врагов и восстановление энергии. Это было сделано с той целью, что в случае твоего убийства, приходится многократно блуждать по карте в поисках возврата к тому месту, где тебя убили. В отсутствии карты и присутствии компаса, который легко заведёт тебя в тупик, это будет стоить тебе, вероятно, очень много нервов). Когда я убрал режим помощи и вернул все настройки в обычный режим, стоит сказать, что изменений особо и не заметил. Да, поначалу враги тебя стали быстрее убивать, но адаптируешься к этому быстро, прокачивая необходимые навыки, модули и оружие.
Что касается сюжета, он не особо завлекает. Какая-то безжизненная мимика лиц, долгие и немного нудные разговоры; записки читать, правда, некоторые любопытно. Что мне понравилось: дополнительные миссии выполняются с интересом: ты получаешь необходимую прокачку, посещаешь старые локации, где открываешь для себя новые прекрасные места. А вот некоторые обычные уровни показались немного затянутыми: успеваешь устать.
В целом, я скажу, что самое сложное лично для меня было поначалу. Первый босс - так и остался самым сложным) А вот дальше было попроще и поинтереснее) Дополнение тоже следует пройти.
Я бы дал этой игре оценку в районе 6,5-7 из 10. Покупал по скидке:)

Неплохо, но не более, можно даже сказать на любителя....

Сюжет я бы сказал скорее проходной чем интересный, по началу цепляет, но позже уже просто проходил на автомате с целью закончить, не скажу что прям совсем плохо, но такое чувство сложилось что чего-то не хватает.
Картинка как по мне красивая, хотя видно что в некоторых моментах есть повторения.
Боевка.... Вот она топорная, да у нас есть разное оружие, есть разные абилки, по началу прикольно, но из-за топорности можно спокойно помереть и из-за этого она ещё больше бросается в глаза, а позже раздражает. Оружие дальнего боя как будто прикручено в просто что бы было, эффективность то я чувствую, но оно не ощущается, вот совсем...
Враги после заучивания в принципе не представляют проблем, вот совсем(Хотя топорность всё равно дает им шанс), боссы же показались не сбалансированные, одни довольно простые и очевидные, другие же ну ООООЧЕНЬ ДУШНЫЕ и это при условии что их тут не так много.
Дизайн уровней как по мне отвратительный(Хоть и красивый) ориентироваться почти невозможно, но разработчики похоже всё и так понимали по этому у нас есть в игре компас который помогает добраться до цели указывая примерный путь.
Оптимизация скажем так.... Оставляет желать лучшего, картинка не настолько выразительная что бы требовать таких ресурсов от железа, пару раз игра вылетела просто на ровном месте не предвещая беды.
Ценник с учетом качества явно завышен, но по большой скидке если хотите себя занять на пару вечеров и простить игре её недочеты.... То может сгодиться.

O jogo é bacana, tem mecânicas legais e a narrativa é interessante. Mas só vale a pena em promoção.

Tem um problema muito grande com otimização. Roda na maior parte do tempo em 50fps em média, mas fica oscilando demais durante todo o game entre 70 e 40fps ( Low numa 3050). Acaba sendo uma otimização muito porca, porque os gráficos do jogo não tem nada demais, é até um pouquinho "feio" em algumas partes e até um lançamento como RE9 Requiem rodou lisinho em 100fps estável sem cair, então não tem justificativa esse jogo ser tão pesado assim para rodar.

Peguei na promoção por R$10, mas não valeria a pena por um valor maior.

Também é válido dizer que se você não é muito fã de souls, vai te cansar rápido, mas é interessante para quem quer descobrir esse estilo de jogo sem investir muito.

I honestly can not understand the negative reviews. Ok, it it is not the hardest souls like you will find, but the combat system is just fine. The setting is really cool and the characters are not seen in other games. The story benefits if you know a bit about the French Revolution and it might feel less engaging if you know nothing about the time or do not care. The artwork and sound is really good and your character Aegis is elegant. Fashion souls is definitely working here.
If you come from Sekiro and look for a challenge, try fencing. If you come from Elden Ring and look for complexity and scale, go into real world politics. But if you have a job and other obligations this game will be your best friend.

制作组所有人是不是都是亲冯被十几个个吃了药的大汉轮jian才被生出来的杂交品种啊。好了接下来说正经的：别买买了别玩，浪费时间浪费钱。我这个配置的电脑不开光追2k画面不能开满才能稳定144，嗯搞优化的应该是上面说的杂交。地图设计是稀巴烂的，各种绕路，一块大区域只能腿脑子呢，还有支线，隐藏区域很多都是第一次看见了也进不去也做不了任务，强制重复跑图，那指引呢？是没有的，点了指引道具只会告诉你距离和最终目的地（还没地图），别说这是致敬魂，tmd人家开放地图想怎么跑怎么跑，cnmd这游戏就是一条线加分叉让你绕。战斗部分，手感是没有的，敌人是扎堆的，后期还有怪能给自己人加血加防御，虽然能打但是各种恶心，你就想想三个会快慢刀的sb敌人你能保证不失误？最后总结一下吧：这就是个电子垃圾。。。看看视频就好了。

I honestly had a really great time with Steelrising.

The combat was the highlight for me. It felt smooth and satisfying and I enjoyed experimenting with the different weapons. The variety was good and I liked how the elemental effects like electrocute, burn and freeze actually changed the way fights played out.

Visually the game is beautiful and the atmosphere is fantastic. The environments combined with the music really pull you into the world and the overall vibe of the game is great.

The story was also very enjoyable. It is a bit predictable at times but it still kept me interested and I wanted to see how things would unfold. The length of the game also felt perfect to me (21 hours full exploration and all side quests completed). It never dragged and it never felt rushed. Also I reached level 50 without the dlc content.

Side quests were okay overall. Not all of them felt worth the reward, but many of them add small bits of lore and extra story details so I still liked doing most of them.

I also want to mention that I personally had zero technical issues. I have seen people say the game is clunky or has performance problems, but on my PC everything ran smoothly. The game is definitely heavy, so maybe that depends on the system.

Overall I really enjoyed Steelrising and I would easily recommend it to anyone who likes soulslike games with a cool setting.

For me it is a solid 9 out of 10.

I wanna give some strength to the game because honestly it's a pretty OK Souls-like with a good mechanic . based on French culture mixed steampunk , it doesn't deserve the hate that I see on the comments section.

He jugado 19 horas, y llevo 18 horas y media pensando en la reseña más mala que le voy a poner.

Vale, voy a dar una reseña realista del juego, ya que odio las reseñas del tipo “este juego es muy malo, es mejor este otro X” (creo que en este caso la comparativa más clara sería Lies of P), porque con esa lógica solo jugaríamos a dos juegos.

No recomiendo este juego. Lo compré a pesar de ver las malas reseñas, porque muchas veces los juegos con valoraciones negativas me sorprenden para bien (prefiero probar algo por mí mismo antes que criticarlo tras ver solo un minuto de un vídeo en YouTube).
Además, cuando empecé a pensar seriamente en devolverlo ya había jugado demasiado y Steam no me dejaba reembolsarlo.

En este caso no fue así. Aun así, he visto cosas malas y buenas que voy a comentar.

Voy a empezar por los PROS:

Armas bastante guays dentro de lo que cabe, aunque son escasas.

Un sistema de exploración similar al corte surf de Pokémon, que te incita a recordar mapas anteriores y volver a revisarlos. Incluye habilidades como un gancho, una maza y un doble salto, lo cual está bastante bien.

CONTRAS:

El propio sistema de exploración mencionado en los pros no suele ofrecer ninguna recompensa real: muchas veces vuelves a una zona solo para encontrar un enemigo o nada relevante.

Bugs por todas partes: objetos que tienes que recoger 10 veces, la vida de los enemigos desaparece, la estamina se queda bugueada, etc. Da la sensación de que nadie probó el juego antes de lanzarlo.

Hay zonas donde puedes saltar y literalmente romper el mapa, saltándote media área.

Hay un salto de mapa muy raro con una pantalla de carga que voy a intentar explicar: estás caminando y de repente apareces en otro mapa sin poder volver atrás, sin ningún tipo de explicación. Solo el personaje diciendo “siento que no podré volver atrás” o algo similar…

Si te pasas el juego no puedes entrar al DLC (parece un chiste, pero es una anécdota real).

Las misiones secundarias no van de la mano de la historia principal: se hacen aburridas y bastante de relleno.

Los “mapas”, a excepción de la mina, se sienten faltos de detalle, poco vistosos y bastante parecidos entre sí. Por no mencionar que, aun con los gráficos en alto, deja que desear… recuerda a un juego de PS3.

SUPER CONTRA:

El sistema de combate se siente totalmente sin pulir y, siendo el centro del videojuego, hace que los bosses parezcan más un “aporrea botones hasta que muera y cúrate cada vez que recibas daño” que un combate estilo souls.

10-12 фпс в игре чтобы я не делал, хоть в 2к ставить хоть 480p в окне на минималках, как я понял использует одно ядро процессора а не все, такое в играх 2005 годов было, но не в 22 году за 49.99 долларов. Это ужас, не советую к покупке как этой игры так и у разработчика в целом, который плевать хотел на свои игры и на вас

I really enjoyed this game. I heard about this game from Iron Pineapple's videos of finding souls-likes. I had a really enjoyable time with this game with a total of 78 hours i got all the achievements and had fun with the combat and the design. It's a very pretty game and i hope more people get to enjoy the game

After playing for more than 10 hours, I decided to stop my playthrough of this game, and I have a few things to say about it. Let’s start with the positives, since there are fewer of them.

What I genuinely liked is the overall atmosphere. I love France, and the theme of a ruined Paris illuminated by lights, stars, and that romantic glow is presented beautifully here. Visually, the game can be very pleasing to look at. The combat system is also fairly decent. Yes, it’s somewhat straightforward and clearly resembles Lies of P, though with a smaller weapon variety in my opinion. Still, the combat feels dynamic and enjoyable overall.

Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The story is quite boring, and the main character you play as is essentially just a talking puppet that doesn’t evoke any real emotion. Maybe I haven’t uncovered enough of the lore yet in these hours, so I won’t dwell on that too much.

What really drives me crazy, however, is the terrible and extremely inconvenient level design. For example, you get a side quest on one of the larger locations and even a marker showing where to go, but it’s literally impossible to reach that place because you don’t yet have the tool required to get there. So why on earth place the marker and give the quest now instead of when the player is actually able to complete it? That is one of the most frustrating and poorly thought-out design decisions I’ve seen from the developers.

In general, the characters are frankly unattractive and completely unmemorable. Their faces feel empty and lifeless. The main character’s outfits are also very repetitive and look almost identical to each other (with the exception of Diana’s outfit, which actually looks great).

Overall, this is a mediocre and forgettable project, and its lack of success is understandable, especially when compared to something like Lies of P (the comparison is fair since the concepts of the games are very similar). I bought this game on sale for $2, and honestly, that feels like the appropriate price for a project like this

Souls-like türünde bir oyun arıyorsanız Steelrising kesinlikle denenmesi gereken yapımlardan biri. Fransız Devrimi’nin alternatif bir hikâyesinde geçen atmosferi, mekanik düşman tasarımları oyuna farklı bir kimlik kazandırıyor. Dövüş sistemi klasik souls-like tarzında, sabır ve dikkat isteyen bir yapıya sahip. İlk başta biraz zor gelebilir ama zamanla oyuna alıştığınız da tatmin edici bir deneyim sunuyor.

Oyunun optimizasyonun da biraz sıkıntı var ama bu genel deneyimi etkileyecek bir seviyede değil. Fiyat konusuna gelirsek, indirim dönemlerinde oldukça uygun bir seviyeye düşüyor. Souls-like oyunlara meraklıysanız ve farklı bir evrende yeni bir deneyim yaşamak istiyorsanız, Steelrising’e bir şans vermek pişmanlık yaratmaz.

But this game? This game allows me to toggle on "god mode," and frankly, it's so enjoyable. That's just me. I fell in love with the game. Aegis is a unique and likable character; she looks really cool, and even though she is just a mechanical robot loyal to one person, she still has a heart. Combat feels amazing.. The world is dark, its full of mechanical robots trying to kill you. 10/10. Recommended for SOULS noobs like me. I can't say about the pros

классная игра, оптимизация говно, графика вроде не то чтобы плоха, но с учётом потребляемой мощи, графика в ней того не стоит, ещё не одна игра так сильно меня не бесила по мимо ждалкера 2, своей оптимизацией, потратил час на то чтобы понять почему при запуске у меня 2фпс и под сотку загружен проц и видюха, по итогу даже на средних хоть и 80фпс, но очень рваный, на ультрах 40-60, но тоже очень сильно рваные, так ещё и настройка есть при включении которой появляется тот самый прикол с 2 фпс, при этом если его поставить на срение, а всё остальное на высокие или ультра, то всё как минимум работает, это просто ужас, если хотите поиграть что то по типу лис оф пи, то эта игра явно не похожа, только концепцией марионетки, не тратье не своё время, не свои деньги, эта игра по графике даже хуже владк брутала, но при этом требует железа куда больше, а геймплей говно, как и сама игра.

Первый обзор я написал крайне негативный, затем я его удалил, после чего спустя пару дней я дал игре второй шанс, о чём абсолютно не жалею, и я приятно потратил почти 20 часов своей жизни на это неплохое приключение в Париже 1789 года. Кроме того, мог бы даже купить дополнение, однако и без него у меня осталось неплохое послевкусие от игры

Что происходит в игре - вы и так прекрасно знаете, разработчики и остальные кураторы, обзорщики прекрасно дали об этом понять, я лишь напишу положительный обзор и постараюсь ничего на забыть, рассказать и плюсах и минусах этой игры

И так, начнём наверное с положительных сторон, а именно:
(+) Игра простая, и не слишком тяжёлая, проходится быстро, и на даёт вам как следует попотеть. Кроме того, если вы казуал, или не любите слишком тяжёлое прохождение, игра даёт вам возможность выбрать щадящий режим, однако при его выборе вы не получите достижения, связанные с убийствами боссов, и ещё некоторые
(+) Реалистичные и красивые локации, основанные на реальных достопримечательностях Парижа и его окраин, к тому же все локации, которые существуют в игре, можно изучать сколько угодно даже перед финальным боссом. Все проходы, все улочки, все дополнительные задание, которые вы не выполнили и не изучили можно будет посмотреть, и выполнить
(+) Боссы проходятся максимум со 2-3 раза, главное изучить их слабые места, и понять их фазы. Затем грамотное применение лечения, и остальных расходников - и победу можно одержать без проблем
(+) Оружие, приёмы, боёвка в целом - максимальное простые. Есть основное оружие, есть второстепенное, у каждого свои особые приёмы. На счёт боевой системы тоже всё просто, есть обычные удары, есть сильные, есть очень сильные. Они не требуют какого-то детального подбора, или улучшения на протяжении многих часов. То же самое и лечение, капсулы с жидкостями. Находим, копим, примениям. Либо же покупаем - всё просто
(+) Второстепенные задания не требуют каких-то нереальных навыков от нас. Выполняем поручения, помогаем второстепенным персонажам, узнаём их секреты, тайны, и истории, за которыми интересно наблюдать и следить, особенно когда происходит развязка, и когда мы узнаём многое, что оставалось в тайне.
(+) Множество различных врагов, мини-боссов, и сами боссы. Тут начиная от простых ржавых мушкетёров, и заканчивая различными шедеврами инженерной мысли, которые могут вас убить в два счёта, не стоит их недооценивать

Что касается минусов, тут всё-таки их поменьше, чем плюсов, но часто игру не рекомендуют, и вот почему:
(-) Боссы слишком лёгкие, многие хардкорные фанаты соулс-лайков, играя в Steelrising, проходят даже самых последних боссов с одной чашкой чая в руке, а в другой держа мышку, одновременно кликая ЛКМ и клавиатуру. И их можно понять, ведь даже мне было легко их одолеть. а ведь я никогда не был фанатом подобного жанра игр
(-) Многие тоже ругают игру за примитивную боёвку, и тут они тоже правы. Игра к сожалению имеет свои минусы в этом плане. Например когда вы уворачиваетесь, и находитесь от врага в 5 метрах - он вас всё равно может достать и нанести вам урон. Однако если это сделает обычный моб - ещё окей, но когда вы в схватке с опасным врагом - это может сыграть ключевую роль, и отправить вас перепроходить сражение
(-) Игра довольно короткая, хоть и насыщенная событиями. Основной сюжет вы пройдете за около 15 часов. С дополнительными заданиями - за 20-25 часов. Многие хотели бы больше, и признаюсь я тоже
(-) У игры к сожалению недостаточно красивый визуал, частенько баги с текстурами. Когда например вплотную бежишь возле стены или по дороге, а она тебе кажется какбуд-то просто куском текстуры, причём мыльной настолько, что такого не увидишь даже в играх 2005-2010 годов. В этом плане игра простенькая, здесь нету каких-либо шикарных видов, от которых невозможно оторвать глаз. Ну разве что в кат-сценах
(-) Для многих так же минусом считается то, что после использования места сохранения (весталок) заново респавнятся все враги, которых вы убили на локации. На первых уровнях это ещё объяснимо - мы фармим очки, улучшаем оружие, и наши показатели. Однако после 3-4 босса это просто становится скучно, и в целом потребность в этом сводится к минимуму, и многих врагов ты уже оббегаешь, ведь сражаться с ними смысла уже мало

Вобщем, игру я могу порекомендовать. Она лайтовая, не трубует какой-либо сноровки, и скилла. Говорю вам как человек, который никогда раньше не играл в подобные игры, и в целом в игры, где есть какие-либо боссы, и опасные враги. Хорошее приключение, боёвка окей, сюжет сойдёт, неплохой сеттинг в Париже 1789 года и роботами. Так что дерзайте, ребятки :)

Took some tweaking but works on the deck. It’s fun. It’s janky. It’s 100% worth it on a deep sale. Feel like souls lite with a little Nier. But takes place in old Paris. Glad I picked it up for $5.00. I would have been disappointed at full price.

I quite liked the story, it was straightforward , interesting easy to follow. Gameplay -wise , not the best soulslike I played, but good enough. A slightly worse "Lies of P" is still pretty good it seems. I loved Greedfall, and now i quite liked Steelrising. Spiders are an awesome AA studio, keep it up guys!

This game is genuinely not much fun with the it's default settings and balancing. I still find it's story interesting enough to recommend it for that.

That said if you want to play something that has a similar vibe in terms of where the story goes but is way better in its technical execution skip this game and go play Lies of P instead it is way better in it's technical execution gameplay/combat design and so far it's animations and general visuals were way better.

Now here is the things I did to attempt to go thru the stry and that made me at least until now not quit the game:

The game feels clunky as f*ck and not in the "haha they are all machines now"- but in the "animations feel bad to watch the and the visual combat feedback is a*s"-way, sadly there can't really be anything done about that, except maybe going for an agility build with fast weapons.

That said I bought the game a while ago since the story sounded interesting so I am now playing it with all the assist featues and especially the camera effects disabled (that camera shake feels like watching a birthday party video recorded by a 2 year old that thinks the camera is a baby toy) and so far the story is fun enough.

Performance had been good for the most part but I did get one cutscene that was stuck at 10FPS.

TL;DR play the game on easy and rush thru it to enjoy a decent story because the combat really isn't worth it with this one sadly.

If you think you can avoid the runback by pushing through all the foot-soldiers on the way, you are going to die. If you don't wait for your window to attack EVERY TIME, you will die. Steelrising tem algumas das mecânicas mais divertidas que já vi em um soulslike. O combate é criativo, a movimentação é ótima e, em vários momentos, eu sinceramente achei mais interessante que Lies of P.

A ambientação da Revolução Francesa com autômatos também é fantástica.

O problema? A otimização é inexistente.

FPS cai sem motivo, stutter aparece do nada e o jogo exige recursos absurdos para algo que nem parece tão pesado assim. É aquele tipo de jogo que você percebe que é muito bom… mas que luta contra o próprio desempenho o tempo todo.

É frustrante, porque por trás dos problemas técnicos existe um soulslike realmente excelente.

Steelrising poderia ser incrível.

A otimização não deixa.

Ho amato questo gioco. E' un gioco d'azione GDR con combattimento alla souls-like, lo consiglio soprattutto a chi si avvicina per la prima volta a questo genere. Il mix non funziona al massimo, ma io sono rimasto davvero tanto coinvolto dal gioco e dalle sue vicende, da fare tutte le missioni disponibili, tra principali e secondarie e al finale ho avuto la pelle d'oca. Quando finisci un gioco e senti la nostalgia per giorni, significa che ti è entrato nel cuore ed è proprio il caso di Steelrising.
