5 out of 10, Boring, navigation is weak at best. It's a chore to get anywhere in the game. I feel like this game was trying to do too much at once. Is it a treasure hunter game? Is it a 3rd person game? It's neither, it's a poor attempt at both, leaving you with forgettable characters, a speeder that handles like a bus, a weapon selection that is laughable with very limited upgrades to your speeder ship and weapon. Your pistol is the only weapon you can modify and even that is pretty limited. It's a wanna be AC in space with none of the charm. I bought it on sale for next to nothing and still feel like I was ripped off. I give it a 5 but it is closer to a 4.5. Maybe if this was your 1st run at a game like this and didn't have anything to compare it to is why it gets a 5. 27 hours in and I have already lost interest in the storyline. Just go play Assassin's creed or Red Dead or something. If you're an experienced gamer don't waste your time or money. If you're new to gaming and are just dipping your toe into games or your are just a huge Star Wars fan, you might enjoy this. Maybe.

Do you like Grand Theft Auto style games? Do you like the Star Wars universe? If yes to both, then you'll probably like this game. The major issues I've seen people call out in negative reviews are technical problems. In 41 hours of play time, I only had one crash and a little bit of minor texture flickering issues, so at least for me, that wasn't a problem. There were a couple jank physics moments... mostly if you crash your speeder into something it can be a little weird, but otherwise gameplay was pretty good. The atmosphere of the worlds is spot on, letting you live as a scoundrel in the Star Wars universe and deal with inevitable setbacks and betrayals of the underworld.

Je me lance dans ce jeu après une session de 70h sur Fallout4, ça aura forcement un impact (négatif) sur mon avis...

C'est un monde ouvert comme on fait trop aujourd'hui, un "desert" RPG en monde ouvert. Le monde "ouvert" a peu d'intérêt. Aucun dialogue possible sauf avec les PNJ qui donnent des objectifs, C'est Horizon moins le gameplay innovant et bien pire, j'y viens.

Je ne vais vais même pas critiquer le coté répétitif des missions (c'est le modèle des RPG des 30 dernières années) ou le système d'amélioration des armes/véhicules (basique niveau 1990), ni même l'IA des PNJ (complètement datée). Tout ça encore, bien que classant ce jeu dans la rubrique "bof", ne mérite pas cet avis négatif.

Etant un fan de SF, j'adore l'immersion dans ce monde. Donnez moi un RPG et un blaster dans l'univers Star Wars et j'achète! Sauf que...

Les bugs de collision sont à hurler de rage pour un "monde ouvert"
Le reset de tous les PNJ après un reload est un calvaire
Pas possible de déplacer les corps dans un jeu axé infiltration ?
Très répétitif dans les mécaniques,

En conclusion,

OK pour l'avoir acheté à moins de 20e en promo. Ne vaut pas plus, au prix catalogue c'est une véritable arnaque.

Perfectly fine star wars themed "assassins creed" and exploration game. Was probably buggy on release, but seemed to work fine on my playthrough. There were couple times i had to roll back 10 minutes or so of gameplay: once i got stuck in a room and the panel stopped working that opened the door and in ruins while on a mission got stuck in some rubble of stone.

If i have to find something to nag about, that would be the tools that you need to explore places and access side content, can only be opened by progressing the main quest, so it kind of "forces" you to progress the mainquest
in the game to get them unlocked. So at times you will be exploring and finding places only to get dissapointed that you do not have the tool to get access.

Its a fine adventure, something to get immersed in for a while and relax. Game is not too hard either, played on challenging which is 3/4 difficulty setting, so there is still the hardest one if someone wants bit more challenge.

I had this game gifted to me by a friend, connected to Ubisoft through Steam and got to enjoy 22 hours of blissful play until Ubisoft decided they needed an official account and not a Steam link, so I created a Ubisoft account and attempted to link it to Steam. Now Ubisoft is advising my copy of the game is already linked to another Ubisoft account and helpfully gave me an obscured email address and say, recover your account. Problem is, that email is not mine and is obscured. So I tell this to Ubisoft and they refuse to investigate until I give them a whole heap of complicated screenshots providing them a heap of personal information. Also, I can't purchase again as Steam says I already own it. Additionally Steam take no responsibility for 3rd party mistakes. So I am banned from enjoying this game.

Невероятной красоты игра! Хотелось бы продолжения, но, судя по массовому чрезмерному хейту, мне его не получить. Увы.
Конечно, Outlaws не без огрехов, в виде невероятно сильного хука справа у Кей Весс, который пробивает головы штурмовикам в полной броне, и чего-то там еще (настолько несущественно в общем впечатлении от игры, что я забыла про это), но кому на это есть дело, если играть интересно и весело. Сюжет бодренький, побочные квесты не вызывают скуку, как в некоторых играх. И знаете что? Здесь настолько красивые проработанные локации, что иногда можно залипнуть смотря на горизонт очередного невероятного пейзажа. Города очень людные, продуманные, нпс постоянно что-то обсуждают - можно постоять послушать об их насущных проблемах. Механики игры ни разу не вызвали скуку. И бонусом, можно встретить некоторых важных для вселенной ЗВ персонажей. Игру делали с большой любовью к "Звездным Войнам". 100 Никсов из 100.

Primero que nada debo de decir que este juego de star wars esta mal valorada , La entrega tiene un mundo bastante interesante lleno de cosas que hacer , una historia divertida y un gameplay bastante entretenido.

En segundo lugar su ambientacion y diseño de niveles esta muy cuidado y casi ni se nota que es una entrega de Ubisoft por completo parece que casi ubisoft te entrega una de sus antiguas obras que si cuidaba al detalle y cariño.

Luego es cierto que debes de ser muy fan de la franquicia para que te guste este juego o si no carece de sentido en si mismo , a mi en lo personal me encanta , no es una historia al uso de Jedis como siempre y tal , si no de un personaje que es cazarrecompensas , ladrón y tal y mola mucho porque en el mundo de star wars pega mucho papeles de personajes así.

En definitiva , si buscas un juego de la franquicia de star wars , que tenga aventuras y algo diferente a los jedis Este es el juego perfecto.
Si no , ni lo pienses.

Por ultimo pienso que la progresión y los sistemas de karma con las facciones y tal esta muy guay diseñado.

Star Wars Outlaws отлично передаёт атмосферу звездный войн и погружает в мир контрабандистов далёкой-далёкой, игра затягивает на долгие часы. Из плюсов: Визуал. Красочные планеты и детализированные локации. Свобода выбора. Миссии можно проходить по разному. Геймплей. Разнообразие активностей: перестрелки, стелс, эксплоринг, погони на спидерах, взлом систем, взаимодействие с фракциями и конечно бои в космосе. Звук и музыка. Аутентичные звуки и саундтрек в духе классической трилогии. Из минусов: Редкие баги (вылеты, застревания), по началу медленная прокачка.
В итоге получилась увлекательная игра с открытым миром для фанатов фрашизы и новичков. Погружение во вселенную на высоком уровне.

As a fan of Star Wars, this will 10000% scratch that itch. i honestly enjoyed it, and its one of the few games in my library that i completed the storyline.

I just finished this game last night and I thought it was amazing. I avoided this game at launch for several reasons including reviews, not being a fan of difficult stealth, and preferring to be a Jedi in Star Wars universe. I took an interest in the game more recently because of Digital Foundry covering the excellent graphics of the title and also in general I enjoy Ubisoft games and their formula.

The story was good. Nothing too special but it will be refreshing for people tired of the same Star Wars narratives that revolve around Rebels vs Imperials or force users. There are no Jedi in the game and Rebels show up a little but the main character hates them so you don't join them. In general I thought the gameplay and side content are outstanding. All that I played are well written and interesting. It never felt like a video game chore or grinding to do the quest lines needed to gain an experts trust to get taught additional abilities. There's lot of small abilities/upgrades that enhance your gameplay and playstyle along with some big ones sprinkled throughout.
Most of the side content felt like playing out an episode of the Mandalorian. Most have more a stealth focus, I'm not a stealth fan except for the way Ubisoft games do it and games like the Batman Arkham trilogy but you have the option to go guns blazing in maybe half of them? A fair amount also end in a fun shootout too. Also speaking of stealth, the stealth was revised a lot from the launch game with mid reviews due to instant fail stealth sections. I also did not like the main character in the first few hours but she grew on me a lot as you get to know her and her past over the course of the game with small short flash backs. I was sure I'd hate the Syndicate aka gangs reputation system. Not a fan of needing to choose a faction or pick sides especially when both sides are bad but depending on your level of patience the system can go from not mattering to rewarding or making the game more challenging. You need a lot of money for upgrades and you can do contracts jobs to get it or explore. I wasn't expecting being able to fly your space ship in the game so I was pleasantly surprised when the ship controls flickered on when you first steal it. Ship control and combat feels awesome (except I wish you could turn faster when stationary in space but it probably makes sense). Otherwise it's an excellent addition to the game. Make sure to upgrade the ship before you start the final mission in the game, you'll need it.

The graphics are excellent, especially the lighting with RTXGI enabled. Some landscape scenes look realistic and the HDR is great too (late in the game I read there's a bug where you need to increase the max nits by 200 to be accurate and I played most of the game without this and it looked good but definitely looked better by increasing the nits 200 above my display's default nits, some parts were a little bright for my taste but the artificial lighting looked too good for me to go back). Also decrease the brightness at the top by -5, that's what the internet says and it does look better after comparing both. The game overall runs great (for a ray traced only title) on a lot of different hardware for me ie: my RTX 5080 laptop, my RTX 4090 Desktop and my MSI Claw 8 ai+ PC handheld. That said both the nvidia Ray Reconstruction and RTXGI (at max settings) were heavier options than I expected. I kinda felt like Path tracing in other games runs better but RTXGI does kind of have a wow factor in a fair amount of scenes that I didn't really get with Cyberpunk or Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Path traced. My 4090 struggled at max (no fake frame generation) getting a bit below 60fps on average but setting most settings to high , it looked mostly the same and ran much better. There's optimized settings out there I followed as on ultra settings, a ton of very far off landscapes and objects get can rendered at unusually high detail which I didn't care for. High settings looks amazing and works great but there's still object lod distance you can turn way down to 125 or 200 meters to get better performance with no perceivable loss. Also that random field on Toshara that reviewers point out has been updated to perform better but still drops FPS a fair amount for no reason (while I was playing on max graphic settings), don't worry about it, as it's the only place in the game where that happens.

Anyway, I highly recommend this game if you enjoy Ubisoft games or Star Wars games and you're open to not playing as a Jedi of some sort. It's a fairly stealth heavy game but was updated to get a lot of options to make it more forgiving and more realistic ie: killing a guard before he can raise an alarm and fail the mission or setting traps, and also the option in a reasonable amount of the game where you can just go guns blazing. There's no way to really tank damage so you have to use cover. You can upgrade your blaster to be stupid strong but in most cases don't expect to one shot enemies without headshots. There is an explosive mod as well as clothing upgrades that power that up to make it one shot for weaker enemies like storm troopers which is beautiful. I played two years after launch so I can't comment on how the game was but today it's awesome and an 8/10 for me, maybe 8.5.

Why? Even at $20, I'm definitely not buying another copy.

Came back to give the game another try after it was updated. On launch if you were spotted on a stealth mission you instantly failed. After the update, they changed it so you die from infinite waves of enemies. Like literal never ending enemies. So instead of instant fail, you fail from attrition. Brilliant solution.

There is an pretty cool open world that is absolutely destroyed by horrible mission design. Let us play how we want. Taking on the empire is unrealistic but so is Star Wars as a whole. This game actively prevents me having fun.

Stars Wars Outlaws is the best star wars game I have played. This game is not that bad as people say, as it's actually good, and very fun. The Story is 8.5/10 for me, and the gameplay is super fun. Also Nix as a companion is really cute and very great to have accompany you throughout the whole game, and it can be also very useful in combat. The Space combat is also super fun and sometime can be a little challenging.

It's true there is still some silly bugs in the game, and sometimes the enemy ai might seem stupid at times, but ignoring that and just go blazing a shooting with you blaster is super amazing. One major issue is the contract of which the brokers give you us very repetitive and can be boring to do at times.

About the dlcs, their story is not that much, for 6 or 7/10, but however it does brings something new to the game especially in the pirates fortune dlc you get a new location you get to travel and even a new pirate ship, which is also fun to fly.

Es ist ein recht solides Spiel und fängt in meinen Augen das Star Wars Feeling gut ein...aber viele Designentscheidungen stören das Spielerlebnis. In vielen Situationen hat man keinerlei Entscheidungsfreiheit, z.B. wenn man gegen eine größere Gruppe kämpfen muss, darf man einen bestimmten Bereich nicht verlassen. Außerdem sind viele schnell immer an den gleichen Stellen wiederkehrende Events, die Raids. Das Adrenalinsystem finde ich nicht so ausgegoren und ich finde, dass man die Umgebung recht schlecht lesen kann. Das machen andere Games besser.

Bin wirklich positiv überrascht, am meisten hat mich überrascht das eine Verbindung zur hohen Republik geschaffen wurde und sogar die Nihil mit eingebaut sind die zu Zeiten der hohen Republik im Hyperraum Schiffe angegriffen hatten.

Sonst ist der Story solide man merkt das hier mehr auf die Umgebung gesetzt wurde was mir persönlich sehr gefällt, da ich dieses Universum liebe und die detailreiche in dem Spiel ist wirklich richtig schön, erwische mich selbst immer wieder dabei wie ich in den Städten jede Ecke erkunden möchte.

Die Ruf system finde ich Mal eine nette Abwechslung und man kann sich selbst auch dazu entscheiden welche Art von Kopfgeldjäger man sein möchte. Entweder der loyale ich bringe den Auftrag zu Ende typ oder man lässt sich Gauner mäßig auf andere Handlungsstränge ein.

Ich kann's empfehlen für alle die das Universum lieben und die Details einfach schön finden, es aber auch diesem Spiel verzeihen können wenn man durch Schlauchlevel entspannt durchgebracht wird.

ATH brouillon, noyé dans les quetes données (annexe ou non) sans capacité de pouvoir les réaliser de suite, alors pourquoi les donner aussi tôt?
Mettre une alarme hors service n'empeches pas l'arrivé de renforts des troupes, alors a quoi bon les mettre?
Les ennemis on besoin de 6-7 tirs dans la tête pour mourir, notre chargeur contient 10-12 tirs.
Un tir de laser ça passe mais chuter de 3 metres vous tue.
Jeu accès furtivité, mais le jeu ne vous laisse pas forcément le temps de vous orienter et de trouver un chemin, les quetes (pour celle jouées) font de toute façon échoué la furtivité pourtant réussis pour des bienfaits scénaristique. Alors a quoi bon?
La moto volante est sympas les premières minutes de jeu, je me suis amusé maximum 15 minutes sur les 5heures.
Fan de star wars voici de quoi vous dégouter de la licence.

Great game and it has a lot going for it, but some remarks are in place...the stealth is a mess. It's near impossible to remain unseen. When you blow up stuff with Nix they often come running AT you, so often attraction instead of distraction. When detected it is often unclear why, because many times you can cross paths in clear line of sight without any alarms going off. Needing to reload a save so often to succeed is really lame.
From the start you end up in situations where you need something you don't have and can't buy or get yet, because it's part of the main story. And is it open world? You can't climb rocks and there are a lot of rocks on the planet. You need to stick to the road or climb predefined walls, also for the stealth action. A bit more Creed would have been nice. This could have been so much more and the questions are not that hard considering all the games that are out there.
The faction system also seems off. It is very easy to annoy one faction and befriend another, but there is no real balance. They hate you to death or they don't. Maybe it changes when I am further down the story line.
Positive things are the atmosphere and the great graphics. It's really the Star Wars universe and you get to hang out with the scum of the galaxy!

J'ai bien apprécié l'aventure dans l'ensemble. Les séances "arcades", "plates-formes" sont supportables (si ça avait été plus délicat, j'aurais abandonné le jeu, je pense. A la limite faire comme dans GT5 - au bout d'un certain nombre de tentatives faire passer la point difficile). J'ai apprécié également les DLC, avec le jeu de base c'était une bonne partie de plaisir. Les décors sont beaux, bons dialogues également ainsi que le scénario. Il ne reste plus qu'à aller vers Okala V, hein ?
Un détail, dommage que la politique d'Ubisoft soit de verrouiller le jeu au niveau mods. Ca pérenniserait le jeu... 20k de mods sur Cyberpunk 2077 et on en parle encore... 8k de mods sur Witcher 3 et je ne parle pas de skyrim.
Bref, bon job malgré ce dernier détail.

I haven't played to completion yet, but so far this game has been great. Honestly i don't understand why it was so hated at release. Got the Ultimate edition during the spring sale for 38 euros and i am having a blast! Feels like Star Wars, has great AAA production values, runs very well on my system at 4K with some upscaling and ultra settings, and is fun. Definitely recommended for fans of Star Wars and Ubisoft's open world formula! A must have if you are fan of both. Hope for more Star Wars games from Ubisoft in the future!

Очень понравилась игра, жаль, что провалилась в продажах. Видимо потому, что не у многих хорошие видеокарты чтобы тянуть такую графику. Играл в нее на RTX 4070 12 Gb - понял, что этой видюхи для нее не хватает. Играть конечно можно, но постоянные фризы, мыло и RTX эффекты на минимуме, либо отключены. А вот после установки RTX 5070 Ti 16 Gb - игра полностью раскрылась во всех красках. Всё летает, графика на максе, видеопамяти хватает на все - красота! Играть одно удовольствие. Что же касается самой игры - то получилась Лара Крофт в лоре Звёздных Войн. Если ждёте и ищите джедаев - их тут нет. Порадовал Лэндо Калрисиан и DLC с ним. Очень зашла тема с синдикатами и репутацией у каждого из них, и соответственно, уникальными наградами. Был в восторге от космоса - это уже как отдельная игра в игре: свой корабль, улучшения и вариации, разнообразие миссий и так далее. Ну и 4 планеты, не такие уж маленькие. В общем, наиграв уже 60 часов и до сих не дошёл до конца, я в восторге. Хотелось бы продолжения этой франшизы, но видимо не судьба. Не жалею, что купил максимальное издание. Рекомендую тем, кто любит приключения!

I heard a lot of mixed feelings about this game from other Star Wars fans, but my good friend spoke highly of it, so I got it on sale and played through the game. Overall, I give the Star Wars: Outlaws a solid 7.5/10, and think that it was a fun, often heartfelt game that had several refreshing takes within a well-established franchise such as Star Wars. It’s not a perfect game and isn’t without its flaws, but Outlaws was dramatically overhated upon its release in a way that, having played the game, feels completely undeserved.

Pros:
The characters are likable, and I find Kay Vess to be an interesting and unique protagonist in that she isn’t a Jedi, she isn’t well-known, she’s just a random nobody trying to make due with the hand she’s been dealt in a hostile galaxy. This is a character trope people have wanted out of Star Wars for a long time (something with no connection at all to Jedi or the Skywalkers) so this was nice to see. Nix is a great addition and makes Kay’s compassion for those around her feel more realized, not to mention he is, of course, very cute. I enjoyed that he was an integral part of the gameplay itself, making him feel less like he was there only to be cute and more like a valuable part of the team. (Which also makes the mission to retrieve him on Tatooine more impactful)

By far the character that steal the show, however, is ND-5. His concept is brilliant, and it makes me wish we got to see more of it. I’ll explain a bit more in what I did *not* like so much with Outlaws, but I felt it did not always push its story beats when it needed to, and ND-5 is an example of that. He’s an ex-clone wars era droid that has gained something of a consciousness and individuality, which would be incredibly interesting to explore within the Star Wars Universe. The idea of a battle droid becoming his own person, enough to want to defy his orders and overcome what he’d done in the past, is such a good idea that it’s almost frustrating we didn’t get to see more of him in-game. (He waits for you on the ship with occasional banter)
His voice acting suited him well and helped sell the character, especially in walking a line between a fully-emotive organic and a droid.

The gameplay itself reminded me a bit of Dishonored, wherein you can choose to either use your tools and be stealthy with a non-lethal approach or you can go in guns blazing. It was fun to test out a variety of weapons at Kay’s disposal, use Nix to interact with the environment, and the worlds did a good job of feeling lived-in. While I feel there could have been a bit more variety in the NPCS (as far as what aliens we see, fashion, repeating models etc) it did add in quite a good amount of non-human background characters which helped make it feel more cohesive to the Star Wars setting.

Really enjoyed the soundtrack, especially the main theme and the jukebox cantina songs you can cycle through.

The Ashiga. To me this was by far the most interesting syndicate you can see in the game; It took a throwaway background character from the sequel films (Sarcco Plank) and developed his species into something we actually get to see and interact with. The Ashiga Clan, for being an original syndicate made for the game, fit in very well to the setting and leave a lot of room for speculation. The Mellito, as insectoid people, were also just plain cool designs to look at - and the rule of cool wins out here. I didn’t care about Kijimi in the sequel films much at all, but the Mellito and Ashiga Clan take what felt very bland in the base content and turned it into something I *wanted* to explore and learn more about.

The in-between:

For all I enjoyed about Outlaws, there were several things that were just sort disappointing, but not awful enough as to call it a “con”.
The first would be Veil, the bounty hunter chasing after Kay within the game. I liked her, and thought she was an interesting addition; The idea of a bounty hunter coming after the MC just makes sense. However, her presence isn’t felt very strongly within the game itself, and she only has a small handful of appearances that don’t feel very resolved by the end. It would’ve been nice if she had shown up more in-game, either hunting Kay or otherwise, as it would’ve introduced more “pressure” upon the player if we had consequences. (Like maybe getting yourself noticed or in trouble too many times would tip Veil to your location, etc.)

The plot was unfortunately fairly straightforward and predictable; The twist at the end I saw coming from a mile away, but that isn’t always a bad thing if other elements of the plot can carry that forward. Unfortunately, Outlaws didn’t quite make the mark as far as making the game feel satisfyingly resolved, even though the ending itself was rather sweet, it left a lot unanswered.
The game felt like it needed a bit more time to “cook” in order to solidify the writing, from plot to dialogue. While some characters were more natural in their dialogue, others felt sort of plastic-y and stiff. (I am looking at Asara lol)
A basic plot can work for many types of games, books, movies etc. And while the characters are the focus that helps drive this, the impact of the weaker writing could be felt as I progressed in the game. When some moments were good, I didn’t want to stop playing, but then others felt like a bit of a slog because I wanted to get back to the characters since the plot wasn’t engaging me to try and push it forward.

The game is also exceptionally short all things considered, and can be completed in less than 80 hours; The short playtime and relatively straightforward plot is another thing that made me wish this got just a bit more time to cook, so that the game could’ve felt “tighter” and had more focus on the writing.

Cons:

I’m playing on a ROGALLY, and even on the lowest graphic setting, the game was often buggy if I was on the speeder. Especially on Toshara, the skybox would completely glitch out and flash, with nothing really working to resolve it. Cutscenes often took awhile to load, or would awkwardly cut or lose their detail in the middle of playing.

Maybe it was just me and it’s a skill issue, but the dogfights in space weren’t very enjoyable for me, and not out of a lack of trying. It felt like no matter how I tried to dodge, boost speed, etc, the Trailblazer seemed to fly *very* slowly and awkwardly, and when enemies are constantly coming at you outside planetary space, all the time, it quickly went from “oh cool space battles” to “good lord that’s annoying, just let me hyperjump out of here as fast as I can”

I’d consider the fact the game is likely not to ever get a sequel as another con; Outlaws introduces a lot of very interesting concepts that it doesn’t fully commit to, because it’s a short game and cant focus on too much of it at once. A sequel would have been a good opportunity to use what is set up in this game as a springboard, but because of the critical reception the concept of a sequel was allegedly scrapped. That’s a real shame.

All in all, despite its shortcomings, I think Star Wars Outlaws delivers on a fun experience that strived, and in many ways succeeded, to give the player something a little different out of what we typically see with Star Wars. Kay isn’t the most confident, she’s plucky and awkward, but she’s also making do with what she’s got. I really enjoyed how she didn’t want anything to do with the Rebellion, making points about not wanting to be used either way - That’s another interesting concept the game proposes, that someone may not want it so simply as “good vs evil” when everything’s been beating you down either way.
Kay Vess is everything that I feel people have been asking for out of Star Wars, but she wasn’t given a chance for a warm reception.

The hate Outlaws received is largely overblown; Its not perfect, but it has a lot to enjoy.

The graphics are pretty good .

The scenarios all make sense .

Dialogues feel actually real instead of voice acting being dull or boring .

The stealth is pretty but in the end it's the same if you stealth or blast everything there are although some places where enemies will keep coming and in greater number and force, which makes me feel like i'm on GTA and i guess there's just situations we can't just go blasting everyone which makes total sense.

Although the game is heavy, it runs pretty smooth, i had 3 windows of another online game open ( 3 different chars ) and it still runned pretty good with no fps drop or a single crash ...

My only wish was to actually earn exp and level up and be able to do some perking on abilities or stat points but i understand that's not the concept of this game publisher and there's 3 mentors at the moment for me giving me abilities which is fine.

The loot is actually usable because of the concept of this game publisher .

I found it pretty easy to make money .. maybe too easy ..

I find games nowadays too easy in the way they make every quest with a marker but that's not this game publisher's fault or even this game's fault, kids nowadays smash the remote or their mice on the wall if they don't find the quest or loot in 1.5 minutes so it's generalised that quests should have a marker ...

It's the same on elder scrolls which was known to have a pretty hard gameplay on morrowind but since oblivion you just go fetch a dot on a map and that's it ..

I don't think i should have 2 launchers to play the game it's just annoying for me everything nowadays makes me log in, insert password, confirm the password, then re-confirm the password because it may not be me and if it is indeed me i just insert 3 safeguards and a password for 30 different things and i have to remember them all, or else ... more passwords and safeguards but that's not really the case here, this is just 2 passwords which shouldn't happen... i just need one launcher.

People let the game flow a bit and try to grow into it and it will be cool.

I mean can you write a review on fallout without leaving the vault ?

If you like the Scoundrel/ Smugler / Bounty Hunter side of Star Wars, i actually think that you might enjoy this game.
First off all, let me premice that the performance on this game in many systems is not the best (at all). But for me it ran butterly smoth, i'm constantly hitting 140/160 FPS with my system, but it crashes from time to time, it's getting more stable the more i play actually.
The visual department is to be praised on this one, everywere you stop is an instant screen shot. The characters, the models, the veicules... It's Star Wars.
The gameplay is nothing special but it's fun, they've improved it alot in my opinion and the ship combat and exploration is satisfying, thought there's limited space to explore ofc.
The story is just the simple Star Wars run of the mill story, it's fun for sure and the DLC are also fun.
Overall if you're looking for a score, i don't usually rate it by numbers, because often they don't reflect what the game truelly is.
For all the games faults i couldn't stop playing it, this is actually my second playthrough since i bought it on PS5 originally and the bought this pc and now i'm playing here.
My councel here is that it's an open world Star Wars, Third person shooter game, with elements of stealth mixed in, and a good speederbike mechanics and ship mechanics on space.
So i recommend this game for fans and for those who like to explore new worlds and brave new adventures.

I’ve completed the game 100%, and honestly, I really enjoyed my experience. Contrary to what’s been said on social media, and despite gameplay footage on youtube that might seem a bit off-putting.. the game is actually quite good!

If you’re like me and enjoy immersive experiences, especially in the Star Wars universe, I definitely recommend it.

That said, I can’t help but notice a certain imbalance: while the teams responsible for immersion (world design, environments, atmosphere) did a fantastic job, the story feels noticeably weaker. In my opinion, that’s where the game falls short.

De verdad que juego mas malo, intenta usar la base de los assasins creed pero mal, la cámara se vuelve loca, tiene bastantes bugs, no puedes ir full sigilo porque no puedes esconder cadáveres y a la mínima que te ven te atacan y aquí todos se vuelven locos. Nach den ganzen Updates und Anpassungen ist es echt ein gutes Star Wars Spiel geworden. Ich kann die vielen schlechten Bewertungen echt nicht verstehen. Das Spiel hat keine riesigen Innovationen oder eine bahnbrechende Story, aber es macht einfach Spaß und die Open World mit den verschiedenen Orten sind richtig schön. Bei mir ist auf jeden Fall Star Wars Stimmung aufgekommen – bisher das beste Spiel von Massive.
Was ich absolut nicht verstehe, ist, warum ein Arc Raiders einen Steam Award für Innovation bekommt. Das ist nur eine Temu AI-Slop-Kopie von Escape from Tarkov. Aber bei diesem Spiel hier wird sich dann beschwert.

schlechtestes Spiel aus meiner ganzen Steam Bibliothek. Es startet nicht. Ich hab alles versucht, um es zum laufen zu kriegen (nicht mal ein Uisoft Mitarbeiter konnte mir helfen) ich habe auch seit über einem Jahr auf Updates gewartet, aber nichts funktioniert. REALLY not a fan. Gave it more than a fair try, but don't think I'll be playing this anymore. Most of the game is spent aimlessly wandering and getting attacked by random bandits all along the way for no apparent reason. Quests themselves aren't at all intuitive so be prepared to die (and Google) a lot and get frustrated as hell (especially fighting the Rancor). Open universes are cool, and I love Star Wars, but Starfield did this format WAY better. Starfield is enjoyable. This is just one big messy frustration after another.

Um excelente jogo de star wars, e um excelente jogo da ubisoft.

O jogo é lindo, bem otimizado, e tem uma boa história em um universo incrivel, com muita liberdade, belas transições e muita coisa pra fazer.
Não gosto muito de jogos stealth, mas este me agradou nesse sentido, e voce sempre tem a opção de sair na mão se as coisas derem errado.
Não entendo o hate em cima desse jogo, pessoalmente gostei muito, vim do Jedi survivor pra este, são pegadas diferentes, mas a aura do universo SW tá mais forte e presente aqui, com as ruelas, cantinas, sindicatos, etc...
Visitar cada planeta, seja no espaço ou rodando com o speeder é incrivel, mas tatooine foi de longe o mais supreendente, estar dentro daquele cenário, com toda a vibe faroeste, é realmente incrivel.

Jogo vale muito a pena, deixem o preconceito de lado, e espero que um dia vejamos uma sequencia (sei que não vai rolar, mas não custa sonhar)

Сразу начну с того что я не люблю фантастику и далек от Вселенной звездных войн. Купил игру потому что показалась интересной. В целом она понравилась, но эффекта вау нет. Знакомая формула юбисофт. Ассассин и фар край передают привет. Сюжет так же звезд с неба не хватает, но он не плохой, просто без всяких эмоций типа «а что же будет дальше?». Играть можно но нужно уметь быть терпеливым чтобы освоить весь тривиальный контент.

Despite not being a Jedi game, I really enjoyed this game, more than I was expecting to. I'm a fan of stealthy games already, but this game also allows for some pretty hectic combat scenarios. The story was pretty good, and they managed to nail that smuggler vibe really well. Nyx, the companion of the protagonist Kay Vess, is absolutely adorable. Gameplay wise, there's a few rough edges here and there, sometimes you can easily tell where the scripted animation starts and ends, which takes away from immersion a little bit.
Really nice graphics, really detailed locations. Music and sound was pretty good as well.
Had a few crashes, but thanks to autosave never really had any frustration at all - most of the times I'd relaunch and it would play just fine for the remainder of that session. Had some stuttering when loading outdoor areas like on Toshara or Akiva, but after that first time it was fine when i returned, no stutter.
Cinematics kept stuttering until I set the option to make them sync to my monitor refresh rate instead of 30fps.

First up the story wasn't that good, i think it could've been better if they added something more at the end, expecially in the final heist. They also could've fleshed some of the planets a bit more, like tatooine. Anyways, if you find this game on sale i recommend it.

This is the best Star Wars game I've ever played. I like how you don't have to follow one quest throughout the whole game, like other Star Wars games, but you can do quest that you want to focus on. You can raid syndicate districts sneaking in or going in loud. It's not focused on being a Jedi, so you can see what it's like to live in the underworld of Star Wars. This game is kind of like the movie Han Solo as well.

A long time ago in what feels like a far away galaxy a Principle of a small country school rolled in a TV and a projector into our lunch room at school. The year was 1981 and I was 5 years old. The reel was the original StarWars film. Since then I've played most of the P.C and console games, watched all of the movies, built Star Wars puzzles with my wife, wore the merch and on and on. I love the starwars universe.

This game is just okay for me. It's not the universe it's the game and the overcomplexity. I have also been a huge gamer for roughly the same amount of years (started with an Atari at 6 years old). Modern games are changing and it's not all for the better.

instead of:
clear minimap icons
obvious quest markers
step-by-step instructions

You get:

vague compass directions
NPC hints instead of objectives
“figure it out yourself” systems

Sounds cool in theory… but in practice? It just wastes your time. I get it, some people want complexity others want simplicity. How about giving us a choice? Personally I think a gamer should have the option to play with a minimap or without. Guided quests or non...give us the option to play the way we want to play.

I'm 5.6 hours into this game, and I can't really enjoy the story as most of that time has been spent learning the systems. A lot of it still makes little sense to me. I don't like compass navigation and leveling your character and equipment and ship etc all take time to learn (Especially with a 50 year old brain...)

It's systems stacked on systems.

You’re not just playing one game—you’re playing like 5 at once:
stealth system
reputation/faction system
gear + upgrades
mini-games (like gambling)
exploration/navigation

Each one individually isn’t bad… but together it becomes mental overload.

I want my games to be EXCITING, FUN, and filled with EXPLORATION. This game may have all of that, but finding it sure is taking a long time...

打折买的黄金版，感觉还阔以，一句话总结：换了配方的罐头。
没有等级，没有装备强度，通过偷听或者读数据版来获取，以往撒在地图上的资源点。宠物伙伴可爱疯了，让我一直想到家里的猫。
当然总得来说还是罐头，不要过度探索，反而能获得以往育碧游戏没有的惊喜。

Disclaimer: I have not played it on launch, so I can't speak about performance back then.
At this point with all the patches, the game runs smoothly, without FPS dips and I've maybe had 1-2 crashes in about 60h of playtime.

If you're into Star Wars, you'll enjoy the game. It's so cool to stroll around Tatooine and including known characters from the movies and series makes it even more relatable. The world is detailed and there are many locations to explore.

The gameplay is not crazy advanced, but there's enough mechanics to either play stealthily or just blast your way through. There are options to turn off the minigames, which can become tedious after some time.

Worth picking up on sale.

Un excellent jeu Star Wars, réussi et que j'ai pris plaisir à finir sur PC après l'avoir déjà fait à sa sortie sur consoles. Le jeu est encore sujet à pas mal de bugs, crash souvent, parfois j'ai eu des polygones qui apparaissaient dans l'endroit où je me trouvais si j'utilisais le blaster. Puis, le personnage de Kay n'est pas marquant, peu intéressante et Nix est la véritable star de Star Wars Outlaws.
Le gameplay est très réussi, je retrouve le savoir faire d'Ubisoft pour permettre au joueur d'avoir l'approche qu'il souhaite et l'expérience à se créer soi-même.
Les planètes sont vastes, magnifiques et incitent à l'exploration.
L'histoire principale est bien menée avec des rebondissements qui surprennent, surtout vers la fin du jeu. Un déroulement que je n'ai pas deviné très vite à l'avance donc une bonne histoire.

Great gameplay.
The control and feel is well polished and makes exploring the open world extremely enjoyable. I appreciate the vehicle combat and Stealth gameplay. The mini-games are fun and rewarding. Coming from games like the Witcher, Fallout and Cyberpunk, I felt right at home exploring the open world and found the star wars themes and humor light, fun and refreshing. RECOMMENDED.
