This is just a worse version of the previous game, "Space Run".
Core gameplay is 90% the same, all they added is tedium.

In the previous game you just needed money to upgrade your stuff. In Space Run Galaxy, you are now limited to how many turret of each type you can build. You build them with money and crafting components, but these components need to be moved around from planet to planet like mission cargo.

You HAVE to spend a significant chunk of time just ferrying your own stuff around because the developer made sure mechanics always have a limited selection of craftable components.
If you don't do that you're not gonna have the gear to complete missions.

Also, if you don't get 100% of the cargo delivered for a mission, you don't get crafting components.

So, yeah, it's just "Space Run", with extra grinding.
