Space Moth DX is the first commercially available game by the developers at 1CC Games, and while I applaud the effort they put into this game, it still does not hold up very well. When compared to their newer games, it both looks and feels incredibly dated to play. There are numerous ways to rack up points such as making heavy use of the soul drain mechanic or defeating a boss within the last couple of seconds, and while both are indeed satisfying to pull off, they are usually not worth the risk. Soul drained enemies become a lot more aggressive and will corner the player far more easily. This will usually result in a death or the player wasting a bomb, or worse, their entire stack of bombs if they have that feature active. The boss bonus is just about never worth the risk, as players will have to widdle the boss's health bar down almost completely and then stop shooting entirely only to finish the boss off within the final couple of seconds. It is very easy to lose a life when trying this, given how long you will have to weave around projectiles. Another thing that I would like to point out is that you don't get extra lives for racking up points like you would in Star Hunter DX (at the very least, I don't recall ever getting an extra life this way). There are also no online leaderboards, which only makes the bonus systems even more useless here. The last thing I would like to mention is the checkpoint system. If you run out of lives and you choose to continue, you will continue from a checkpoint. The problem with this is that you will start from that checkpoint with the number of lives and bombs that you had at that point. This can lead to situations where you could respawn with no lives and no bombs.
In conclusion;
This game was a learning experience for the developers. Personally, I'm happy that it exists, as without it, there would be no Star Hunter DX or Space Moth Lunar Edition. HOWEVER, I would still recommend that you get those games instead. If you must buy this, either get the 1CC Games Shmup Collection which includes this and their other 2 shmups or the Interstellar Insanity Bundle, which includes this, its soundtrack, Void Invaders and Hyperspace Invaders II: Pixel Edition.

Star Hunter DX by 1CC Games fixes everything that was wrong with Space Moth DX. Space Moth DX is very difficult. People are afraid to say it's difficult, and there needs to be an easy difficulty mode. I'm tired of replaying Stage 2 over and over, so I quit, as well as throwing a coffee mug across the living room. On a positive note, Space Moth DX is an all star shmup, and one of the best of all time mixing amazing visuals and top tier music. I just wish I could play Level 3. Shout out to 1CC games for listening to their customer base for understanding all the flaws of Space Moth DX. Honestly though, Space Moth DX could use an update to implement an easy mode. For the gamer though, pay the extra money and purchase Star Hunter DX, which is a side scrolling version of Space Moth DX with an easy mode.

A cute game with a cutesy theme. Part of the reason this game attracted me were the aesthetics - drop dead gorgeous style influencing me.
In this game you can attack standardly with a wide shot and beamy - two types of attacks. Concentrated beam is like the laser from Dopdontzchi ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. As is customary in a typical vertical shut-em-upper you also get access to the BOMBER, which is a bomb attack that bombs which clears the screen which is an industry staple at this point.
Scoring is simple yet elegant. You attack and suddenly you beam for extra points.
Game can be cleaned with sheer skill and then entering a 2nd game, which is the same game exactly, but another time, for a, what's called in the community, an interlooper or 2nd loop. In conclusion I like. I still excite!

It's a good shmup game but the final boss is silly. I understand they were going for a hibachi thing but the thing is, hibachi is always an optional boss, not the mandatory final boss.

[b][i]Space Moth DX[/i][/b] — шмап в цветочно-насекомовой тематике. Но в отличие от культовой Mushihimesama тут у нас не анимешно-фентезийное жучиное королевство, а вполне родные земные жучки-паучки в качестве действующий лиц.
Будучи завсегдатаями залов аркадных автоматов, авторы поставили во главу угла дизайна механики набора максимального количества очков. Есть пресловутый грейзинг (полет вплотную к вражеским пулям), а также специальное изобретение — Soul Draining (это когда стреляешь по врагу сначала обычной атакой, а потом добиваешь с помощью лазера для получения доп. очков). И это всё работает очень неплохо.
Проблемы всплывают если вы по какой-то причине не разделяете тягу создателей к аркадной эстетике — повторяющиеся волны врагов быстро начинают надоедать. Действие немного оживляется на боссфайтах, предлагающих пару оригинальных решений, но всё также страдающих от отсутствия разнообразия (фактически у каждого босса всего один паттерн атаки, немного усложняющийся по мере потери здоровья). Вместо контов — неоднозначная система чекпоинтов, в какой-то момент можно просто застрять без жизней и бомб. Эта игра не слишком много может вложить в развитие идей жанра и вряд ли чем-то удивит бывалых шмаперов. Для новичков же она скорее всего покажется слишком сложной.
Учитывая проблемы с вариативностью геймплея, неприятно удивляет отсутствие системы достижений. Авторы либо идейные противники ачивок как явления, либо не осознают что на фоне дефицита интересных идей немного искусственного позитивного подкрепления явно помогло бы удержать игрока на подольше.
Несмотря на всё это хочется поставить космической моли положительную оценку. Игра ладно сделана, [b][i]1CC Games[/i][/b] явно вложили в своё творение душу. Визуал приятный, а саунд так вообще шикарный. Управление работает идеально, позволяя легко маневрировать с большой точностью. Завезли даже нормальное переназначение всех клавиш, что по какой-то абсурдной причине у большинства разрабов shoot‘em up игр не в почете.

I'm on the fence here. It is hard to actually recommend this game.
I find it soulless, tedious, uninspiring and dull. The music and sprites are perfunctory at best. There is basically no animation on the foes, just 2D sprites floating down at you and perhaps rotating a bit.
They made a reasonably good shooting engine and it works without bugs. It has a nice interface.
If you can get it for 90% off then go for it, but if you're expecting a great game that calls you back over and again, you won't find it here IMO.
I played for around 20 minutes and I'm bored to tears. Now I will idle for trading cards.
Many others will find a lot of fun trying to get the maximum points. There's a "soul drain" system where you shoot bigger foes with your pop-gun and then laser them when they change state for bonus points. I don't care about this, nor do I care about the "hidden fruit" system. These meta-games don't really bring the game up to what I expect out of a shmup.

Tight and challenging retro vertical scrolling top down shooter. Definitely on the touhou/bullet hell side of things because your hitbox gets smaller as you move, hitting shots is less important than avoiding enemy fire. Garish art which may give some a headache but it looks distinctive and cool. Good enemy and level variety. Excellent music. This is a proven formula that works and is fun, Space Moth nails it.

Difficult, beautiful, new. Very fun shmup with interesting risk-reward high score mechanics. Way too difficult for me to power through without some serious practice, but I'm excited to one day.
Edit: Really getting into it now, it gets harder and more fun with each level, and the bosses are unique and very fun to figure out. I want a 1cc so bad that I've been practicing this game on and off, a game when I can, since I got it.

This is a gorgeous bullet hell shooter with a nice soundtrack and I've made it to the second level.
I only have a few minutes of playtime over a handful of sessions over a few years, but I'm totally happy with this small bit. Give these guys your quarters.

Neat visuals and interesting mechanics make for a neat take on a classic formula, especially at the price (particularly when on sale). Can't give it a proper go, because my hands are numb today, but it seems cool. Makes me wish I could turn my TV horizontal.

처음에 벌레가 나오는 슈팅게임처럼 보이니까 거부감이 들었지만, 해본 결과 나름 할만했습니다.
필드전에서 주로 N웨이 탄과 조준탄이 정직하게 날아오는거라 약간만 움직여도 탄막이 피해질 정도로 단순합니다.
스코어링 시스템은 크게 3가지입니다. 기믹 아이템을 얻어서 중첩시키는 점수,
보스를 2초 이내의 시간을 남긴 채 파괴하면 두 배.
샷으로 중형 적을 때려서 효과음과 함께 대비색이 됬을 때, 레이저로 마무리. (소울 드레인)
대비색이 됬을 때, 흔히 말하는 발광이란게 있어서 평상보다 탄을 더 많이 쏘므로 미스확률이 높아지더군요.
(그 외, 그레이즈도 있긴 하지만 점수 증가가 매우 미미하므로 패스.)
적 체력 조절과 파괴같은 스코어링의 기초를 제시해주는 게임이었던 것 같습니다.
난이도는 정말로 다른 '아케이드' 슈팅보다는 훠얼씬 쉽습니다. 세이브포인트에서 갖고 있던 목숨, 폭탄 등을 그대로 가지고 시작하는데, 제작진이 마치 원코인 클리어(1CC)를 장려하는 듯한 느낌이었습니다. 도전끝에 게임을 클리하는 느낌을 간만에 느껴본 것 같습니다.
단점은 위에서 언급한 것 처럼 여러가지가 존재하긴 하는데 점수를 내봤자 리더보드가 없으니 사실 자기만족으로 끝내야한단 것?
그리고 개구리, 거미줄, 풍뎅이... 그냥 보스들 패턴들이 다 더러운거 같아요. 점수 두 배 보너스는 사실상 1스테이지 빼고 다 포기했습니다. 그 외에는 딱히 언급하지 않아도 될듯 하네요. 사람에 따라서 장점이 될 수도 있으니...

Looks like: Weird Rainbow colored bugs flying everywhere! Plays like: A Japanese 90's spaceship "Shmup" game, such as Raiden, or Do Don Pachi. Make sure to read the rules to get the most from the game, which is designed for players trying to get a high score, or 1CC = 1 credit complete.
The action is good enough, I wish there were a bit more variety. If you like strange stuff, go for it?

Pretty decent game. Bright and colorful visuals with an up-beat sound track. Pretty slow pace shmup.
Your typical shoot em up game. Enjoyed it from start to finish. Soundtrack was amazing and the color style had a nice touch. The game is tough and most of the time you wont be able to dodge the enemys bullets
Jeux plutôt sympa et accessible à des joueurs peu experimentés en Shoot 'Em Up.
Visuel : C'est coloré, pixelisé, les bullets sont bien visibles (et ça c'est cool), le thème nature/insecte ça change des habituels vaisseaux/avions.
Gameplay : shot, laser (deplacement lent) et bomb. C'est classic mais ça marche et c'est agréable à jouer.
La difficulté du jeu est très raisonable, il y a moyen de se faire plaisir sans se prendre la tête.
Avis général : les stages sont un peu monotone voire chiant par fois par contre les bosses sont intéressants, ils ont pour certains des mécaniques de gameplay ou des patterns assez originaux.
Pour moi, se sont très clairement les bosses qui sont la difficulté du jeu.

Space Moth DX is a psychedelic space shooter where you as a laser-shooting moth has to fly through mind-bending beautifully pixelated stages all the while destroying any insectoid life in your way accompanied by one of the most atmospheric soundtracks on Steam. The gameplay mechanics are simple enough: you can shoot, you have a "soul-stealing" laser that when used after a certain amount of health is depleted from an enemy with the other attack awards you extra points, and finally, a bomb attack, that's it. Apart from that, there are a few hidden items to collect in every stage, but that pretty much sums up the gameplay.
Despite its simplicity, the game manages to achieve that really hard feat: to be a good game. It's beautiful, and the soundtrack, which the creator accredits as an emulation of Orange Tangerine's style (a band I wasn't all that familiar with), fits perfectly with the graphics and style of the game, and the tone of every stage. And it's good, so good.. calling it an emulation isn't doing it justic, the music is a clear 10/10.
It's a cheap little game, and it's worth every penny. Do it.

space Moth dx is shumup, the checkpoints are awesome and it looks amazing giving you the idea that you really are a bug in the in the forest, I liked a lot the artwork they made for the unused parts of the screen, its very arcade style, I just found out that you can grab the enemie drops using the "shift" key, and it also do a lazer blast, the game tries to protect your lives auto using bombs when you are hit, its a optional feature.

This game is absolutely gorgeous. You can tell in the spritework there has been a lot of love put into this game. At times I have found myself quite afraid due to how detailed the enemies are. Not recommended for people who are scared of bugs.
I am not that good at shmup games but geez this game is very fun. Take note that you need a controller to play this game. Good deal when it's heavily discounted.
Lovely shmup, classic gameplay mechanics inspired by early Cave games. I would describe it as Donpachi + Mushihimesama , with a very soothing soundtrack. Hope the developer puts out more shooters!
A fun Shoot 'Em Up game that has a good amount of challenge will tons of projectiles coming at you. The music is very enjoyable and fits the right tone for a game like this. Every level has its own set of enemies, boss fights, and art design. I only wish that by killing some enemies they would drop power ups instead of just points but still a fun game worth a few minutes for.

Очень короткая, по этой причине, чтобы хоть как-то расширить время прохождения - сложная игра.
Можно кричать, что это, мол, хардкор, а я криворукий рачила, но, мне кажется, есть правильный хардкор типа Dark Souls или того же Titan Souls, и есть хардкор неправильный, нечестный, как в этой игре. Не рекомендую ни в коем случае.
На эту тематику за те же деньги и дешевле можно найти более стоящие проекты.
Один из лучших shoot'em up в Steam, яркая красочная игра, хорошо продуманный интерфейс. Создает ощущение игры на аркадном автомате. Но к сожалению сложность соответсвующая, игру было бы намного проще проходить платя монетки за продолжение, но такой возможности нет, да и игра призывает нас не дожидаться окна рекордов, иначе нам не открыть некое достижение. И если по началу может показаться что все легко, типичный шутемап, то к середине игры она становится еще и Bullet hell (или сразу,если режим DX), со всеми вытекающими. В общем для скиллованых фанатов жанра, самое то.
Я к сожалению её без продолжений не осилил, но с удовольствием коротаю время в попытках ее пройти, игра привлекает дизайном, саундтреком и механикой. Рекомендую фанатам жанра, новичкам или не опытным лучше покупать что либо попроще, так как никакого easy тут нет и не будет xD

A surprisingly deep game given it's low price.
Not overly tough given the genre, but a genre that glorifies in being hard to beat. Possibly easier than most, given the numerous complaints of it being boring, but I found it about average (Again, given the genre.)
A surprising fact, insects and other similar creatures make my skin crawl, unless presented in such a manor that they little resemble their parent creasture (such as Caterpie from Pokemon) and I almost didn't buy this because of that.
Hasn't bothered me yet.

Also, you can rotate the screen (which does not change the controls) so that you can play it sideways or UPSIDEDOWN! WARNING! The controls do not adjust! If you chose to play at 180 degrees, 'up' will move you toward the bottom of the screen, and 'left/right' are inverted! In other words the controls are relative to the direction the moth is facing. This can make the game MUCH harder, but also more fun.

This game adds a few twists to the genre though, such as "breaking" (or whatever the term was) the bosses before actually depleting their healthbar (which is something the end of round scoreboard tracks!)

Cada mes trato de jugar alguna cosita que salga de badge creada( por el cupon) , o bien tenga random en mi biblioteca de steam; ya que a veces encuentras gemitas de bajo presupuesto que por algo son jugables o buenas... En este caso se da lo neutro (no es ni mal, ni muy buen juego; solo decente).
Ok el jueguito es mas un bullet hell mas que un Shoot em up, no hay mejoras solo recojes cositas que van saliendo escasamente para mejorar score.
Tu "nave" es una mariposa ♥ (en realidad polilla) que tiene un puntito que vendria siendo tu hitbox, un disparo primario para enemigos pequeños y otro secundario que es un rasho laser para enemigos grandes... o eso le entendi.
La mecanica general del juego es sencilla: tienes 3 vidas desde el inicio del juego, y cada vida tiene 3 bombas que te ayudan a quitarte todas las balas [con tiempo de invencibilidad] y bajar mucho a los enemigos; el juego salva tu partida cada que pasas stage o antes de perder todas tus vidas... om, al final de cada stage hay boss.
(ojo que no hay continues, solo salva y regresas a una vida antes de morir; por ende es un juego dificil)

Love the graphics and the design of the critters, and the fact, that I'm not piloting some boring spaceship, but a particularly angry moth. Controls are precise. Like the option to practice unlocked levels and bosses. Good entry point to tougher danmaku games, hectic but not insane.

Unsere Hitbox besteht dabei nicht aus unserem ganzen Raumschiff, sondern lediglich aus einem kleinen Punkt in der Mitte unseres Schiffes. Unterdessen geben wir durch eine ständig gedrückte Taste Dauerfeuer, zerschießen einfache Gegner und Bosse und sammeln Gegenstände ein, die Punkte bringen.
"Space Moth DX" spielt dabei im Insektenreich. Unsere Gegner sind also Käfer, Libellen oder auch mal Seerosen oder Frösche. Allen entströmen Geschosse in artspezifischen Mustern. Am Ende einer Passage wartet immer ein Bossgegner, etwa ein riesieger Hirschkäfer. Bullet-Hell ist dabei durchaus ernst gemeint. Es gibt Augenblicke, in denen fast der ganze Bildschirm voll mit Geschossen ist und wir uns durch die wenigen Lücken zwängen müssen.
Das Spiel ist insgesamt nicht sehr lang, durch den herausfordernden Schwierigkeitsgrad garantiert es aber längeren Spielspaß.
Das wichtigste bei solchen Titeln, die Steuerung, ist direkt und gut kontrollierbar ausgefallen, so daß ein Erfolg wirklich auf dem Skill des Spielers basiert.
Grafik und Musik ist pures Retro, japanisch alt-konsolig. Treffend und gekonnt werden da anachronistische Gefühle angesprochen. Der Stil stimmt einfach, ist charmant, bunt, kreativ und unterhaltsam.

Brutal game, you start with 3 lives, 1 hit costs a live and after that game over. There are 2 game modes, arcade and DX aka hard and harder.
Barely made it through lvl1, but weapons and graphics arent my cup of tea. (no powerups?)

Un juego bastante subrealista donde utilizaras una polilla...que dispara rafagas de fuego contra otras polillas que al atacarlas se tornaron en el clasico color neon de los 80s. Lo unico malo que escontre es que tienes que pasar todos los niveles de golpe, uno tras de otro, lo que puede llegar a ser frustrante, si quieres darle una oportunidad y esta en oferta, no veo los motivos para no jugarlo.

No momento, ainda não tenho nem duas horas de jogo, mas vou adiantar o review porque o jogo tá a UM REAL na Winter Sale do Steam.
Nâo sou profundo conhecedor de bullet hell, então não sei se é "primo pobre" de Dodonpachi como alguns dizem. Também não sei como o jogo se sai comparado a outros clássicos do gênero porque, como já disse, sou meio noob em bullet hell. E mais: no momento, estou morrendo no chefe da segunda fase, então não sei se o jogo fica horroroso depois disso.
Mas quer saber? É divertido pra caramba e só custa UM REAL na Winter Sale.
Só dois tipos de tiro, sem power-ups: tiro spread e laser. Você usa o spread para, obviamente, varrer a tela, mas se você metralhar com o spread os inimigos que não morrem com um tiro só, eles ficam "nervosos": mudam de cor e começam a atirar como doidos. Aí você aniquila os nervosinhos com laser e ganha um bônus. É o clássico risco/recompensa, você decide se quer ser ousado ou cauteloso.
Os inimigos são insetos. Se você detesta insetos, maravilha :P
Nada de continues. O máximo de canja que o jogo te dá é uma espécie de save state: passou de fase, ele grava sua situação no início do estágio. Morreu? Pode recarregar o save, mas vai voltar do início da fase com as mesmas vidas e bombas com que chegou. Ou seja, não tem moleza.
O visual é retrô e eu considero bem charmoso, com cores extravagantes e tal. Há um modo extra de dificuldade onde os inimigos abatidos deixam um monte de tiros na tela como "herança". Dá para girar a tela, caso você tenha monitor pivotado -- ou se for louco como eu e deixar o notebook de lado para jogar com tela vertical :P
Resumindo: se você é veterano em shoot 'em ups, leia os outros reviews, não tenho como avaliar o jogo para você. Agora, se você é um masoquista loser que nem eu e quer dar uns tiros, cai dentro!
E putz... UM REAL na Winter Sale ^_^
UPDATE: Depois de mais algumas horas de diversão, cheguei ao último chefe... e é hardcore demais para mim, acho que não vou zerar o jogo nunca, he he!

This game rules. If you're at all into space shooters / bullet hell style games, give this one a shot - probably one of the best I've ever played.
Insetos coloridos, enormes e que atiram pra todo lado, com músicas empolgantes tocando no fundo. Precisa de mais?
Space Moth DX é um bullet hell bem simples e divertido, incrivelmente difícil (como todo bullet hell que se preze) e muito viciante. Jogando com uma mariposa psicodélica, você vaga pelas florestas mundo afora destruindo todos os tipos de animais, como borboletas, aranhas e até sapos gigantes...que atiram em você. O que me chamou a atenção de início foi a direção de arte deste jogo: ele é muito colorido e vivo, cores chamativas e sprites bem desenhados. A jogabilidade é fluída e não dá slow-down em momento nenhum, fazendo você depender da sua boa habilidade para desviar dos tiros. Uma dica: deixe o "auto-bomb" ligado!
Pretty bullet hell thing. Fairly unique looking, to be honest.
It is fairly fun, and the altering the large enemies, making them more aggressive, but also providing more points. That is fairly neat.
If you have a phobia of butterflies or moths, like my sister does, stay the hell away from this, haha.
这款游戏我玩的时间不算长，要说从这款游戏上获取了什么，那就是：看着画面不怎么样的游戏可能真不怎么样。
这是一款复古的打飞机游戏，画面粗糙，操作简单，一共就两个键，开枪和激光。
敌人全是虫子，我也没细看是不是都是蛾子，除了杂兵就是小BOSS，小BOSS打起来有些费力，只能用激光，但是用激光的时候就不能开枪，而且移动速度也慢，然而不用激光实在是不行。
大BOSS也和小BOSS一样无聊。
这游戏让我想起了少年时代的街机游戏捉虫敢死队(Gemini Wing)，论游戏性尚不如Gemini Wing。
这个游戏居然没有成就系统，也没有卡。
唯一的优点就是打折的时候挺便宜的。

日本人から見ると、「何これ、虫姫さまのパクり？」と思うような、パッと見、虫姫さまのリスペクトゲーム。
と、言う事で今回は虫姫さまとの比較を中心にレビューを書いてみる。
まず大前提として、値段が安めなので「虫姫さまの代わりに…」と考える方も居るかもしれない。
が、「それだけは絶対に止めておけ」とまず伝えておきたい。
ゲームシステムは虫姫さまとは大きく違い、どちらかと言うとオールドスクールな要素が強い。
ＣＡＶＥシューの様な点稼ぎやギミック、配置等々ではなくむしろもっと古い感じ…「東亜プラン」時代の作品を、弾幕シュー風味に仕立て上げた、と思った方が良いだろう。
雰囲気的には、どちらかと「ドラゴンスピリット」に近いものも、ある…かもしれない。
と、言ってもファンタジーファンタジーしてるワケでもないけれど。
純粋な弾幕ゲーとして見るには、弾幕の種類や敵の出現、弾のパターンなど物足りない部分が多い。
更にＳＥやＢＧＭがしょっぱい事でイマイチ盛り上がらない事や、
ボスも形態やパターン変化が無く発狂らしい発狂が見られなかったなどなど、少しダレがち。
点稼ぎは、敵弾をカスってくと敵が発狂モードに入るのでその状態で撃ち込んで倒す。
ＨＡＲＤはやり応えはあるが、まぁでも荒削りな印象だった。
オールドスクールなシューティングが好きな人にはオススメできるかもしれないが、ＣＡＶＥシューファンにはあまりオススメし難いので、「いいえ」評価を付ける。
That is just a very bad made Dodonpachi rip-off, where you even spoiler the existence of "hibachi" or whatever the secret is. And if it isn't enough, the music makes the game even worse. It's boring and it doesn't fit into the atmosphere of a bullethell-shooter (if it is supposed to be one). I've also tried DX-Mode. I didn't see you effort put into the hard difficulty, it's just Normal-Mode with after-death-bullets coming out of enemies.
And i have to tell you, that this is my first bad review i've ever given on steam. I am always fair and give even better reviews than the game deserves. And i'm also a big fan of Shoot' em' ups. Sorry, but this game has no effort included, and the prize for such a game is too high. It seems like i've wasted 8€ here. At least I should have waited for another Steam-Sale...

Fantastic indie shmup with more than enough content to keep you coming back. Controls are excellent as is the sound and graphics. Two thumbs up!
IT IS NOT GOOD.
This is great. Has a lovely, hypnotic, trancey, laid back feel to it.
Has a really good scoring mechanic where you "soul drain" larger enemies by hitting them with your wide/rapid shot until they turn black, and then finish them off with your laser to score higher.
soul drained enemies become more aggressive, firing out more bullets, so it's a lovely risk/reward system.
A lot of bullets home in on you in this game so you can't just be flying all over the screen, you have to stand still when you need to.
Nice bright, chunky, primary coloured graphics take you back to playschool.
Some great, tricky bosses, especially that final one.
Really good game, though some of the bosses can't be good for my blood pressure. I'd like to meet the guy who thought up the final boss and shake him by the neck. Finally beat it today though :D
通了一遍DX模式，感觉作为一个64M的小游戏，还是挺不错的值得一玩，但是作为弹幕游戏就有点太简单了，不仅仅是难度上比较简单，道中和boss的设计也简单了点。道中就是几种中型机的重复，DX模式感觉就加了死尸弹吧。。。几乎没什么难度，玩到后面就觉得有点单调了，boss也是一种攻击方式逐渐加强比较粗糙。。。
Colorful shmup with a groovy soundtrack. Being a 64MB game, its pretty obvious why its a basic shmup. Really has an 8bit sega feel to it. As a fan of shmup's, its a 6/10, its not a great game, but its passable.
The game is pretty good, at this price it's definitely giving a try if you like scrolling shooters.
It is a huge ripoff of Cave games, it's up to you to decide if that's a bad or a good thing, but you'll be able to tell right away that you've fought every single one of these enemies before. Except for the bosses, those are original as far as I can tell. Coincidentally the bosses aren't all that great.
For difficulty, I only played a few credits so far and haven't beaten it, but I'm under the impression veteran players would consider it too easy. Can't say I've had that problem before.
Scoring is pretty simple, you shoot stuff with the shot, when they turn black you finish them off with the laser, they call this soul drain and it gives you a set bonus per enemy. There's an audio cue when the enemy turns black and they will still have a good chunk of health left at this point, so it's not necessary to memorize how long it takes to kill each enemy like you would on ESP Ra.De. or Ketsui, it's a lot more lenient. There's also a 2x bonus for killing bosses on the last 2 seconds of the timer, point pickups hidden around the stages, and bullet grazing. Save for bullet grazing which is more fluid, all of these are very discrete mechanics, you either get the bonuses or you don't, and it's not all that hard to soul drain every enemy in the stage. I imagine it's very possible that a good player could with enough practice come very close to the theoretical max score of the game, which is weird.
Anyway, it probably won't keep you interested for years but it's a good game. I've never heard of 1CC Games but I hope they make some more.
