Storyline

The balance of the Holy Kingdom of Keidas is compromised when powerful, feral creatures known as “Wraiths” invade from the other side of the Veil, threatening to consume the living. Wraiths corrupt their victims and can even possess their bodies, turning into unstoppable monsters that prey upon the common folk. The “Chimeras”, hybrid warriors born of the union of two souls, are the only ones who can protect humankind. Briar and Lute are two sisters who have been reborn as a Chimera. The transformation has granted Briar superhuman strength and resilience, while Lute, who was sacrificed in order to bind her soul to her sister’s, has become a ghost with mystical powers. The camera kinda sucks and the main gimmick of having to change color to hurt enemies gets old fast. All weapons share the same 6 input combos as in all weapons need you to do the same six combos to get the same six results like lifting enemy etc. Not a bad game per se but hard to recommend.

Ok, this game was better than i expected, like really good, the story is very well done, i admit, i was not that interested at first, but damn it got good.

Its far from perfect, the fixed camera when not in combat is a bit annoying but, the chharacter designs are inspiring but a bit rough, monsters are really good tho.

I have gone back and forth with myself on whether to give this game a good or bad review. It has the foundations of a fantastic underrated masterpiece. However, there are so many factors that truly hold this game back from its true potential. So many design and gameplay decisions rub me the wrong way that make playing this game feel like a chore. And that is truly a shame because there is so much in this game to love and appreciate!

First off, I will say that the art direction, visuals, story, and characters are phenomenal! The characters, especially the main characters Briar and Lute, are all amazing. I would honestly watch a whole TV series with them in it. They all have amazing chemistry. Very well done to the devs in this regard/ However, this is not a movie or a TV series, this is a video game and the most important thing that holds it back is its clunky and janky gameplay....

The gameplay is very similar to the classic hack and slash games like the old God of War and Devil May Cry titles from 20 years ago. A true PS2 era feeling game which is a nice trip down memory lane. However, actually doing combos or doing Briar and Lute's powerful synergy attacks are next to impossible with how unbelievably punishing the game is for the smallest of slipups. I am serious when I say that you need to be absolutely frame perfect of doing various different combos for 2 minutes without getting hit a single time before you even have the CHANCE to perform Briar and Lutes Synergy Attacks. I have only managed to trigger their synergy attacks twice in my playthrough through the grit of my teeth. They throw SO MUCH annoying enemy types at you with so little room for error that going for these moves are just not worth it. Don't even get me started on the ridiculously frustrating challenge Bonus Levels. The ones in later chapters ones nearly made me punch a hole in my wall with what is expected of you. Maybe I am just bad at these types of games, but I never had this unique problem in other hack and slash titles. I was able to perform insane combos effortlessly in many other games like Soulstice. Many of the enemies are just not fun to face. The whole "Red Light" or "Blue Light" enemies where you can only damage them if Lute is shining red or blue aura fields just adds so much more tediousness to an already tedious fight.

As of writing this review I am more than halfway through the game but I am having trouble motivating myself to continue. I will likely try to push through and finish it as I do like the story and characters. But I doubt I will be having fun doing so unless the game changes drastically which i doubt. I would only recommend this if its on a deep discount. I got it in a Fanatical "10 for $5" bundle so I really only paid $0.50 for it so I cannot be too upset.

Again, it is such a shame that I am giving this a thumbs down because there clearly was a lot of passion and creativity put into this. I love the setting, characters and worldbuilding very much but actually playing this game makes me reminisce on much better titles sadly...

É um jogo interessante tem seus pontos fortes e seus pontos fracos.
O jogo é bonito a musica não é ruim, tem algumas quedas de fps mas nada que atrapalhou realmente a jogar.
As lutas tem um sistema diferente que é as areas vermelhas e azul que a personagem faz para conseguir bater em inimigos corrompidos e possuídos, o que é bem interessante mas podia ter sido aplicado de uma forma melhor tem lutas que tem tanto monstro diferente na tela tudo junto que você acaba não conseguindo bater porque tem que usar uma aura mas tem inimigos que precisa da outra no meio te atrapalhando. Ataque fora de tela mesmo que o jogo tenha um icone mostrando que tem inimigo em tal direção fica chato o bixo la do outro lada da tela de batendo. tem uma variedade legal de armas que no fim você quase não usara tirando o porrete e a luva as outras arma usei uma hora ou outra, o arco acaba não ajudando em praticamente nada ja que os inimigos que voam acabam ficando fora das auras e você tendo que correr atras deles e chegar perto ai é melhor so bater com a espada ou outra arma neles.

A historia não é ruim mas também não espere muita coisa é somente mais do mesmo que você encontra de monte em outros jogos.

Agora vamos falar da camera do jogo, essa foi a pior parte fora das lutas você não consegue girar a camera como você quer, atrapalhando muito a pular em alguns lugares parecendo que esta indo para um lado e pulando longe da plataforma. nas lutas com tanto inimigos na tela ou você desvia e aperta o B para se defender ou gira a camera haha.

os bosses são bem feitos e foi bem legal as lutas com bosses diferentes das lutas normais eu gostei bastante de lutar contra os bosses alguns tendo varias fases e poderes diferentes em cada fase.
Até queria ver uma continuação para saber como vai acabar a historia das duas irmãs mas infelizmente não sera possivel, quem sabe no futuro.

Se você ver o jogo em promoção eu recomendo comprar.

It’s an interesting game with both strengths and weaknesses.

The game looks good, and the music isn’t bad. There are some FPS drops, but nothing that really got in the way of playing.

The combat has a different system involving red and blue areas that the character creates to be able to hit corrupted and possessed enemies. It’s an interesting idea, but it could have been implemented better. In some fights, there are so many different enemies on screen at once that you end up not being able to attack properly, because you need to use one aura while other enemies require a different one, which just gets in the way. Off-screen attacks are also annoying—even though the game shows an icon indicating the direction of enemies, it’s still frustrating to get hit by something from the other side of the screen.

There’s a decent variety of weapons, but in the end, you’ll barely use most of them. Aside from the club and the gauntlet, I only used the others occasionally. The bow is practically useless, since flying enemies often stay outside the aura zones, forcing you to chase them down and get close anyway—at which point it’s just better to hit them with a sword or another melee weapon.

The story isn’t bad, but don’t expect too much it’s pretty much more of the same that you can find in many other games.

Now, let’s talk about the camera. This was the worst part. Outside of combat, you can’t rotate the camera freely, which makes platforming frustrating it often feels like you’re moving in one direction but end up jumping far away from where you intended. During fights, with so many enemies on screen, you either dodge and press B to defend or try to rotate the camera haha.

The bosses are well made, and the boss fights were really enjoyable. They feel quite different from regular fights, and I liked them a lot. Some bosses have multiple phases and different abilities in each phase.

I’d actually like to see a sequel to find out how the story of the two sisters ends, but unfortunately that won’t be possible maybe in the future.

If you see the game on sale, I recommend buying it.

这部作品的确有值得夸赞的地方，我喜欢他的画风，以及灵魂领域的独特玩法，但玩法缺少很多优化，有些情况未免会恶心到玩家，而且完全就是手柄玩家专属游戏？反正我PC玩得很别扭，当然因人而异，这仅仅只是我的个人观点

但是......恕我直言，这款游戏以我的评判标准来说只能有5-6分，虽然是小型工作室的游戏，但游戏整体质量层次不齐，很糟糕的地图设计、剧情故事以及人物对白情节很迷离，你模仿鬼泣就算了，不能改变视角也算了，最讨厌的就是地图的跳跳乐设计，还搞个限时跳跳乐闯关，跳跃功能你能优化一下吗？地图设计也是一塌糊涂，地图绕就算了还没有指引，就是无头苍蝇，路上也没有任何支线剧情，就纯打小怪，就算是解密开门也得有相关线索吧

总之这款游戏很看人口味，玩法是新颖的，总体我给个推荐，希望开发商能进一步优化！！！

- Lock-on várias vezes não segue o inimigo que ta na tua cara, já o que ta na PQP, sim
- Farm é maçante e não recompensa muito
- Armas fracas
- A arma principal vc não consegue trocar e vc só consegue dar 2 upgrades no jogo inteiro
- Hordas de inimigos de vários tipos no combate, somando com a câmera que só atrapalha, fica uma bagunça do krl na tela
- Sistema de áurea da Lute no combate é um saco de usar, principalmente quando tem inimigos azuis e vermelhos ao msm tempo
- Dash poderia melhorar
- Jogo prolonga demais a história, fica cansativo com o tempo

Dito isso, infelizmente não recomendo esse jogo. Ele tem seus pontos positivos, mas não tinha necessidade nenhuma de ser um jogo tão maçante a ponto de parecer que levei 100hrs pra zerar. Eu me esforcei muito pra terminar o jogo só pq queria saber o desfecho da história que poderia ter sido contada em umas 8h-10h de jogo (os últimos 3 capítulos foram muito bons pelo menos). Se o jogo fosse mais objetivo e arrumasse alguns detalhes na progressão e os problemas da câmera, ele seria um jogo muito bom.

Questo gioco era iniziato bene, divertente e con una vera sfida. Poi solo telecamera che non va. Volevate fare una cosa alla DMC 3, dove la telecamera fissa funzionava bene e ti faceva capire dove e cosa stessi guardando. Qui la telecamera funziona solo per dare una difficolta artificiale con inquadrature che letteralmente non ti fanno capire chi tu sia perche' avete avuto la brillante idea di fare la protagonista degli stessi colori dei nemici in ambienti chiusi e buii. Poteva essere una perla, invece e' sempre la solita minestra fatta male di cose messe insieme in un frullatore che, ripeto, se la telecamera fosse fatta normale o veramente fissa ma che riesci a vedere tutto (un po' come i primi god of war o DMC3) sarebbe anche godibile. Peccato, per fortuna l'ho preso in sconto.

What an amazing game! I bought it for less than 2 dollars, I hadn't heard of it before and my expectations were low. The game surprised me in every possible way, everything is so well-made that it could easily be a AAA game.

The story is really good and keeps you interested the whole time, the bond between the two sisters and the backstories of all the other characters are very interesting. The combat is very good, with some unique mechanics, we have a lot of different weapons to combine during combat, which makes it very fluid and immersive. It has a progression system which could be better, but it still delivers a good experience. It's a must-play for hack-and-slash fans, and for casual players like me, it’s well worth it!

НЕ обзор, первое впечатление от игры.
Мя как и многие наверное купила игру по большой скидке, видела что в отзывах не мало негатива есть.
Ну и что могу сказать? Первое впечатление просто отличное, камера как в слэшерах времён моей юности времён PS2 игр.
Ощущение отдачи среднее, но присутствует.
Сюжет похож на типичное тёмное аниме из начала 00ых, нефига не понятно, но очень интересно, ещё и сеттинг явно навеянный европейской культурой, всё как я люблю какая то по ощущениям "японщина" но в декорациях "европейщины".
Частота кадров стабильная без просадок, хотя и хотелось бы что то вроде 150ти ибо с виду игра визуально проста.

А учитывая цену игры по скидке, вообще считаю грешно ругать игру.

Напишу подробнее когда пройду игру.

Decent visual style. Good performance on a mid system. Pleasant voice acting. It's clear the game was carefully crafted. But...
The music is inappropriate. The enemy designs are dull. The location design is poor. And the combat system is boring. A failure.

The game could be remade, but I'm afraid it's too late. Make the protagonist a man. Rework the combat system to be tactical, physical, and challenging. Make the RPG system more focused on loot and build-building. The storyline should also be completely rewritten. With these visuals and a few fixes, the game would have been a success... But history has no subjunctive mood.

心有余而力不足的作品，原价肯定上当，但一折时买了绝对不会亏。鉴于其用心做，还是推荐。

动作体系、剧情人设，能感觉到在用心做，最起码是一个及格的 ACT 或 ARPG 游戏，不是换皮或跟风。

只不过，也能感觉到这是小工作室出产，到处都是降本手段。锁视角倒还能接受，而且正好还避免了我非常讨厌的箱庭模式。不过动作体系的一些缺点，就难以忍受了。具体来说：一，动作僵硬，XXX一套下来是连续动作，但单独放 X ，打完就僵在那里了。二，操作人为复杂化，B 键一开始还新鲜，很快就懒得按了，到了第三章BOSS，还得先 B 再 LB 才能完成一个翻滚动作，只能说 B 键设计的很失败。三，音效一般，结合前两点之后，那是一点打击感都没有。

Wahnsinn mit so einem geilen Spiel hätte ich nicht gerechnet ,da kommen DMC Gefühle hoch . Richtig gut gemacht ,auch die Stimmen der Protagonisten sind sehr angenehm .Ich gebe glatt beide Daumen hoch.Im Sale ist der Preis unschlagbar .Aber ich würde einen 360 Controller dafür empfehlen ,funkt aber mit Maus und Tastatur ,nur etwas anders.👍❤️

Минусом не считаю, что игра похожа на всеми известные хиты типа DMC, даже наоборот, если хорошая игра почему бы и нет. Тут же всё начинается бодро, интересно, но потом понимаешь, что тебе дрочить 25 глав, а ты ещё 10 еле осилил и хочешь уже скипнуть игру.
ОТРИЦАТЕЛЬНЫЙ ставлю только из-за лвлов с воспоминаниями, которые у меня забаговывались и не находились по часу, вопрос к разрабу, почему я должен 3 часа из игры ходить в пустоте по кругу и искать то, что я скипну за секунду.
СОВЕТ: я начал играть на максимально разблокированной сложности, смысла в этом нет, просто дрочильня игра становится к середине. Играйте на самом лёгком и не парьтесь, так как один фиг надо фармить ресурсы на прокачку.

Encore et toujours, vu que pas possible de mettre un avis neutre ce sera mauvais.

L'histoire sans etre passionnante est correcte, les decors plutot jolis, l'animation/graphismes pas mal... MAIS c'est un jeu un peu trop inspiré de Devil May Cry 1.

Pourquoi ? Simple : la camera. On se balade a l'ancienne avec des plan précalculés qui réoriente la camera en permanence. Les phases de plateformes peuvent rapidement devenir une torture.

Autre point important : le perso est lent, MAIS LENT quel cauchemar. Même War dans Darksiders est plus vif...

J'ai du mal à rester accroché, pourtant le fond n'est pas mauvais, avec un systeme de combat interressant mais franchement... l'héroine qui balance des coup d'épée super speed mais qui se déplace comme si elle avait les 2 chevilles de pétées... Tres moyen.

Poderia ter sido um excelente jogo mas a jogabilidade é bem frustrante para um Hack Slash, dificultam demais a realização de combos, com números altos de inimigos e mecânicas mau utilizadas. A segunda jogativa é mais divertida mas fica fácil demais, mas mesmo assim os combos ainda são frustrantes, talvez se dedicar mais entendendo a mecânica do jogo facilite. Apesar de possuir 59 horas não joguei tudo isso, pois quando saia do jogo ele continuava rodando na Steam e as vezes eu esquecia de parar manualmente, o que deixou ele funcionando por horas.

- A primeira jogatina é bem frustrante, não pela dificuldade mas pela complicação de conseguir fazer os combos, com tantos sistemas é bem dificil de fazer.
- Apesar de várias armas vc praticamente só usa duas delas, pois as outras tem um dano muito baixo.

Para quem vai jogar o que recomendo é ir nas configurações e colocar no máximo o campo de visão da camera, pois em batalhas com vários inimigos melhora um pouco.

Não invista em nenhuma habilidade da Lute que aumente a entropia (vai diminuir o tempo que o campo azul e vermelho duram) na primeira jogatina,

Soulstice is a great game. If you like Devil May Cry, Bayonetta and the like, you'll most likely enjoy this one too.
At first, combat feels incomplete , maybe even clunky. It's not untill you get a couple of upgrades that the game starts clicking (at least for me it did). Also bear in mind that there aren't a lot of combos but you do get a bunch of weapons and other things I'd rather not spoil.
Soulstice also implements some great ideas such as tying special attacks to the "combo meter" or treating it as a resource later on.
But it also makes a lot of weird choices: fixed-camera plataforming (I know some people enjoy it; I've always found it kind of annoying but not a deal-breaker), how the game manages combo scores when using certaing things (looking at you Overcharge "build"), grading the timing for the whole level and not just the sum of the battles and assigning each weapon a strength and a weakness to certain enemy types (which I loved since it encouraged experimentation) and locking that information behind a "Kill x enemies to reveal more". I understand this also promotes tinkering, but not all enemy types are inherently obvious.
As for the story, I liked it. It has some twists and turns I didn't expect.
Lastly, the game keeps introducing mechanics almost up to the ending, so please keep playing it. Currently only 9.6% of players have completed the game on any difficulty and it's such a shame since it really is a good game.

Got this on sale for 4 dollars. I am regretting it because the combat is poorly thought out. The 2 color switches isn't terrible, but adds to an extra amount of BS with a lot of enemies already on the screen. Off screen projectiles do give a subtle warning, but having off screen projectiles is typically a bad design to begin with. The Devil Trigger like mode is stupid because it pretty much goes away if you are tapped, so combine with off screen hits coming at you and possibly having something interrupted over not having blue or red up and it ruins the pace of fighting. Good ideas, bad execution and questionable decisions.

The camera also can be a bit tricky to work with and all of this together just adds to a lot of annoyances.

Don't do it, play DMC3/5 instead

Ich habe Soulstice jetzt drei Stunden gespielt und ich sag’s mal so:
Meine Spielfigur wird laut Story langsam vom Verfall zerfressen ich wurde in der Zeit emotional vom Gameplay zerfressen.
Am Anfang denkst du noch: Oha, Kamera fährt ran, Kamera fährt weg, bisschen cineastisch, bisschen stylish. Du fühlst dich für exakt sieben Minuten wie in einem Discount Devil May Cry 5 Trailer… bis du merkst, dass der Vergleich ungefähr so passt wie ein Einkaufswagen mit drei Rädern zu einem Formel 1 Auto.
Das Kampfsystem ist… ja… da. Man schlägt Dinge. Die Dinge schlagen zurück. Manchmal laggt das Spiel dabei, obwohl dein PC eigentlich gerade Sudoku spielen könnte vor Langeweile. Mitten im Kampf ein kleiner Freeze, damit du kurz über deine Lebensentscheidungen nachdenken kannst. Danke dafür.
Dann kommen diese blauen Orbs mit den Sprungplattformen. Und ich schwöre dir Manche Stellen sind so gebaut, dass du fünf bis sechs Versuche brauchst, um da hochzukommen. Nicht weil du schlecht bist. Sondern weil das Spiel beschlossen hat, dass heute dein Charakter lieber gegen unsichtbare Kanten springt als auf die Plattform.
Nach dem dritten Versuch beginnt übrigens der echte Verfall deiner Nerven.
Highlight war ein Bosskampf, bei dem sich der Gegner permanent wegteleportiert hat wie ein WLAN-Signal in der Deutschen Bahn. Das Spiel erklärt dir natürlich NICHT, wie du ihn besiegen sollst. Kein Hinweis, kein Tutorial einfach zehn Minuten lang Wo ist er? Ah da! Ne, doch nicht.
Am Ende habe ich die einzig funktionierende Mechanik benutzt. Alt + F4 kritischer Treffer, Windows wurde besiegt.

Storymäßig:
Welt geht kaputt, Dimensionsriss am Himmel, alles verfällt langsam vor sich hin. Klingt dramatisch. Fühlt sich aber nach drei Stunden eher an wie Ja okay… passiert da auch noch was?
Der Anfang im Hafen mit diesem riesigen Portal am Himmel gibt dir übrigens so starke Half Life 2 Vibes, dass ich kurz Gordon Freeman gesucht habe.
Und dieser ganze Verfall, der die Welt und Menschen langsam zerfrisst? Hat mich irgendwie daran erinnert, wie in ARK Aberration alles von dieser komischen Krankheit auseinander genommen wird. Nur dass dort wenigstens ich wusste, warum ich leide.
Unterm Strich:
Sieht cool aus, kämpft sich okay, erklärt kaum was, laggt gern, Plattformen hassen dich, Bosse spielen Verstecken und deine Motivation teleportiert sich schneller weg als jeder Gegner.
Ich bin unfassbar froh, dass ich das im Sale gekauft habe.
Vollpreis? Da hätte ich direkt meinen eigenen Verfall eingeleitet.
3 Stunden gespielt.
1 Stunde Spaß.
2 Stunden Gedacht Wieso nur?

Solid DMC-esque stylish beat-em-up with heavy influence from Berserk.
It has a pretty cool and unique world/story in which the characters reveal more about as the game goes on.
The music compliments the action very well.
Also, I find the relationship between Briar and Lute a pretty refreshing center piece of the story.

it's very clearly inspired by older devil may cry (combat, camera, challenges and hidden stuff) games, if you liked them then probably you will like this one. but keep in mind that performance wise it's bad, stuttering in prologue even with my ryzen 9 7950x, rx 7900 xtx and 32gb ram on medium settings but it will get better after prologue. i haven't played mid/late game but guessing from prologue it will stutter more the longer you play

Hack and slash con mucho por pulir.

Solo lo recomendaría para quienes quieran probar algo más dentro del género. La propuesta es interesante, pero la ejecución se queda a medias. La historia resulta confusa y por momentos extraña, lo que hace difícil conectar realmente con lo que está ocurriendo.

La cámara, aunque no llega a ser totalmente molesta, sí se siente limitada. En un juego moderno se agradecería una cámara libre; parece que intenta replicar decisiones de diseño de títulos antiguos que estaban condicionados por limitaciones técnicas de su época.

En cuanto a lo visual, el juego tiene gráficos muy buenos, pero el apartado artístico y los escenarios se sienten poco trabajados. No transmite una verdadera sensación de progreso: los entornos se repiten constantemente torres, fuego, estructuras destruidas y en más de una ocasión sentí que simplemente estaba caminando de un lugar a otro sin demasiada variedad.

En general, es un juego con potencial, pero que necesita más pulido para destacar dentro del género hack and slash. 5/10

Soulstice é um hack and slash inspirado em Devil May Cry e Bayonetta que tenta ser tudo e não consegue ser nada. O jogo é muito bonito, tem direção de arte forte, trilha sonora muito boa, mas sofre com problemas de otimização.

Ele se estende demais e fica repetitivo, reciclando inimigos e arenas. O combate não é fluido, a câmera é muito ruim e o lock-on funciona mal, atrapalhando bastante nas lutas. A escassez de combos também deixa o combate raso.

Apesar disso, vale a pena por ser muito barato em promoção, principalmente pra quem curte hack and slash e quer algo diferente pra passar o tempo.

Динамичные схватки. Накрученные механики. Мутноватый сюжет. Собирательство и прокачка. Приятная глазу графика и адекватный звук. В общем ходи лутай, бейся и слушай болтовню героев между собой обо всяком божественном и не очень. Великой загадки сюжета тут нет. Любишь эпичные зарубы до приступов эпилепсии - это твой контент.

Подробнее опишу ниже для тех, кто готов читать более расширенный обзор в деталях.

[h3]А теперь поговорим обстоятельно...[/h3]

Перед тем как что-то написать, да, у меня всего 3 часа в игре и поверьте мне этого достаточно. Пусть это вас не смущает. Игру я покупал по лютой скидке за сущие копейки и слава богу. Прежде всего хочу отметить очень важный аспект - [u]тут пи@%ц как перекручены механики.[/u] У героини есть саппорт в виде духа, которая может использовать два вида энергии: красную и синюю. Красная нужна в первую очередь для сбора ресурсов на локации, а позже и для сражения с определенным пулом врагов. Синяя же работаю примерно аналогично, однако она более востребована для боя. Уже на ранних этапах игры появятся эдакие хуeбесы, которых обычной физикой разобрать не получится. Уже в первый час игры вам выкатывают местную фичу, а именно солянку из однотипных мобов, к которым требуется индивидуальный подход. Одних можно расковырять банально палкой, а вот другие нематериальны, и как раз для них нужна та самая синяя энергия вашего саппорта. Проблема в том, саппорт очень быстро кончается. Гораздо быстрее, чем ваши враги. В десятки толстых упырей будут летать высоко в воздухе пара нематериальных чертей, которые будут лупить вас исподтишка. Представьте себе ситуёвину, где вас лупят одновременно с десяток бронированных зомборыцарей пока вы в панике пытаетесь добраться до двух летающих у черта на рогах бесов пока не кончилась ваша энергия) О да, это просто пушка, от этого мне хочется орать в монитор от бессилия, ибо я не выкупаю рофлана от разрабов. Синяя энергия окутывает вашего героя создавая некий купол. Ваша задача с этим куполом допрыгнуть в тайминг в воздухе к летающему черту и нокнуть его на землю, чтобы далее отпинать ногами. Но либо энергия кончается, либо бесы эти резко улетают на сверхзвуковой от вас, либо черти снизу дадут по пяткам гг и та упадется на землю биться в конвульсиях) Шикарный геймплей. Я бы сказал на кончиках последних нервных окончаний. Крч боёвка натуральная дичь. В игре всего 22 вида врагов и большинство из них это чуть более сильные версии предыдущих. Игра их просто наваливает так много, что на мониторе начинает происходить натуральная дискотека века) Ах да, каждая ваша схватка по итогу оценивается игрой. Смог покромсать всех быстро и технично - вот тебе ранг алмаз. А если бегал за духами по воздуху несколько минут, ну вот тебе бронза, лошара. Уныленько....

Так же в игре полно секций паркура с элементами применения всё той же вездесущей синей и красной энергии. Площадки не появятся, пока у вас не будет купола. А если купол исчез так как энергия быстро кончилось, ну что ж, ваша проблема. Пытайся снова и снова пока не обуздаешь законы вселенной и прогнешь под себя местную физику. На самом деле, убери они эту механику необходимости использовать энергии и игра заиграла бы новыми красками, а так это, извините, дрочь ради ♥♥♥♥♥.

Прокачка родом из 2007, так что смело врубайте Стигмату и Слотов пока будете потеть в данной игрушке. Значится что тут происходит... Ходите и ломаете все что игра вам подсвечивает. Лутаете красные и синие орбы (о боже, привет играм уровня God of War: Chains of Olympus и ему подобным). Потом раз в примерно хрен знает когда встречаете торговца и покупаете улучшения и камни для хила и тд. Иногда на уровнях можно найти небольшие секретики. В них лежат хилки, штуки для грейда вашей брони и тд. Крч кто глаза Горгоны и перья в God of War собирал, вот это из той же категории. Опять же, уныленько....

Вот за что игру можно похвалить, так это за шикарный визуал и звук. Всё красиво горит. Дымка и туман нормально работают с освещением. Мобы визуально выглядят достойно, а так же разлетаются на нормальные физические ошметки в момент добивания. Оптимизация у игры на хорошем уровне. Звучит игра нормально. Броня на мобах звенит, кристаллы бьются со звуком стекла, шаги гг в зависимости от поверхности звучат по разному. Из прям прикольного: торговец носит маску из-за чего его голос записан как через подушку. Благодаря такой маленькой , но важной детали погружение работает лучше.

Управление достойное. Играл на геймпаде, так что за клава-мышь сказать ничего не могу. На геймпаде же все кнопочки можно подстроить по себя как надо, но там и дефолтная раскладка вполне адекватная. Расстроило, что игра не увидела задние доп лепестки на моём геймпаде. Обычно я туда переношу использование любых предметов из быстрого доступа. А так отклик нормальный, всё прожимается как надо. Для такого типа игр геймпад даст лучший импакт нежели клава-мышь.

Крч такой вот обзор. Надеюсь не задушнил, а вы подчеркнули для себя все минусы и плюсы данного проекта и сделаете свой выбор с умом) Я бы от себя рекомендовал только по скидке.

Хорошенький такой слэшер в стиле DMC. Приятная боёвка с жонглированием в воздухе, шестью видами разных випонов, разными режимами ярости и ветками прокачки: игра постоянно наваливает что-то новое, вплоть до финала. Катсцены добротные, сюжет средний, но в целом не плох, с заделом на продолжение, которого судя по всему ждать не приходится.
Под финал игры конечно слегка переборщили с количеством довольно таки сложных файтов, но с другой стороны, мы ведь живём в эпоху бесконечных сосаликов, а значит должны поощрять высокую сложность и любить хардкор!

Как итог: годный сюжетный слэшер-сингл, без опенворлдов и прочей ереси. Кайфанул от прохождения

И важно отметить весьма необычный "режим ярости", у которого есть сюжетное обоснование. В определённый момент героиня после цветастой анимации забирает у вас управление и самостоятельно месит врагов.[/b]

[b]Разработчики зачем-то запретили пользоваться свободной камерой в игре, остановившись на фиксированных ракурсах: это позволяет демонстрировать великолепные виды, но вместе с тем чертовски неудобно. Учитывая, что здесь очень много платформенных секций, можете представить себе, насколько часто вам придется прыгать мимо цели только потому, что камера установлена под неудобным углом. Как оммаж к классике это неплохо, но, эй, возможность вертеть камерой в любом направлении[/b]

Подкупила интересная стилистика игры, настроение «Берсерка» и интересные персонажи. Но на клавиатуре и мыши мои ручки «тиранозавра» не могут играть в это творение. Камера как в старых Devil May Cry — это неплохо, но если надо сломать какой-нибудь кристалл где-нибудь на потолке, то это сильно выводит из себя. В целом игра неплохая для любителей такого жанра, но три часа подряд бить разноцветные кристаллы под неудобной камерой — это так себе развлечение.

Soulstice é um jogo com uma direção de arte incrivel e um mundo sombrio e decadente. Ele me lembrou várias obras como Castlevania e Berserk, e embora tenha muitas inspirações, não deixa de ser original. Conseguiram criar um universo muito interessante e realmente bem construído.

Briar e Lute são, sem dúvida, o ponto mais forte do jogo. A relação entre as duas sustenta grande parte da experiência. A história é sólida e muito boa não é nada revolucionária, mas funciona muito bem.
O combate é estiloso rápido e extremamente satisfatório, mas pode acabar ficando repetitivo para alguns.

A atmosfera que segura grande parte da experiência, Os cenários são lindos dentro da proposta sombria... É um mundo trágico, melancólico e decadente... Soulstice é claramente um jogo feito com dedicação e carinho. Dá pra perceber que existe uma profundidade por trás dele, mesmo com limitações de orçamento e escopo.

Fica claro que esse jogo foi pensado pra ter continuação e espero muito poder voltar ao mundo de Soulstice em um próximo jogo.

Soulstice is a great $5 French version of Devil May Cry. However this game was advertised as a stylish souls-like game with no souls-like features at all. The enemies are damage sponges and they don't hit hard at all providing little challenge. Has many secondary features that are easily forgotten but needed to progress through certain areas. Story dialogue is very bland with forgettable protags. The combat sequences are the highlights of the game with numerous combos and counters.

Just a warning for those who have sensory issues, there are a lot of bright flashing special effects in this game to where you can lose track of the protagonist. The camera angles are also limited where it can lead to motion sickness.

I only refunded so I can purchase more games for my Hentai Addiction.

Ну, в целом, за 1 бакс, как я взял - скорее да, чем нет. На самом деле, вполне играется и с клавиатуры - это я Вам авторитетно заявляю, как рак 74-го уровня в 5-ом поколении. Но камера - вот, да, странная. Сначала кажется, что можно привыкнуть, и даже с полтора часа так и было, но потом пошли места, походящие на платформинг, и вот там камера прям исполняла такую "операторскую работу", что я задолбался падать)
В общем, не моё, вероятно, но рекомендовать можно, потому что игр таких нынче немного, а тут ещё и внезапно глубокая прокачка, но не столько нашего главного героя, как её партнёрши и синергий.

I have only 3 hrs on steam but ive played and beaten this game on a different account. this still to this day is one of the best games ive ever played and im almost in my 30's. i grew up when they actually still cared about games that they released(talking about any company) and honestly this company is one of those companies that took TIME AND EFFORT to make sure that this game met standards and honestly it met everyone of my standards i highly reccomend this game

Jogo é bem divertido, mas seu maior problema com certeza é a duração, onde terminei o game com 15H e certamente poderia ter acabado beeem mais cedo
Não tem tanta variação de combos, inimigos e desafios
As armas finais do game são bem buchas e não acrescenta mt coisa no fim do dia

A ambientação, a história e a personagem principal parecendo o Guts mue foi o que mais me pegou e me manteve curioso durante a jornada

Из минусов:
Фиксированая камера, да и вообще камера в целом.
Духота в середине игры, как будто забыли отсыпать веселья.
Веселые только первые пару часов и последние уровни, в середине весь геймплей будет заключатся в уничтожении одинаковых красных кристалов и блуждание в однотипных коридорах.
Про боевку говорить нечего, она нормальная, но все портит ужасная камера.
Стоит брать только со скидкой в 90%

+ Presentation wise Soulstice is a feast for your eyes, beautiful anime styled characters move in a fully realized gothic and dark world while accompanied by a great soundtrack, the battle themes are especially notable for how badass they are

+ Great lore, story and characters, the world of Soulstice has been crafted with love and passion and while the inspiration from animes like Claymore and Berserk its quite obvious, it is used to create their own tale of adventure and strife. A special note has to be put on the protagonists, Briar and Lute, which are some of the best realized protagonist i've seen in a long while, their sibling love is tangible in every exchange they have

+ Very addicting combat, the system starts 'slow' but as you unlock more weapons and skills it becomes an addicting adrenaline jolt that its hard to put down. Especially good is the choice of having Lute, the ghost sister, be your defensive option which allow you to parry, block, slow and root enemies at the same time in which Briar is doing her offensive moves

+ Very good value for money, the game is long with a lot of focused content and very little filler

Con:
- The major con of this game is that the camera can be diabolically bad and i mean one of the worst cameras for a game in this genre, while during traversal it works beautifully, giving the player some breathtaking vistas of the map you are in, in combat it becomes another enemy, moving in cramped corners, off tilt angle, behind giant enemies, causing the player to get hit by attacks that should be quite easy to handle. Platforming is another part that gets worse by camera alone, the angles often making annoying judging jumps with precision

Soulstice is a great character spectacle game, the combat, the characters, the story, the music is all made with love and passion and it was a pleasure for me to playing it from start to finish. The troublesome camera is a heavy problem that alas you'll have to push trough but the overall quality of the game is more than worth the effort.

Я достаточно лояльно отношусь к АА играм, потому что понимаю, что бюджеты у них не такие большие и некоторые откровенно копируют разные популярные франшизы. Чего только стоит куча клонов сурвайвал хорроров в душе Resident Evil и Silent Hill. Смотрел трейлеры и некоторые геймплейные отрезки и по фиксированной камере понял, что игра выполнена в духе старых слешеров, как DMC 123, Год оф вор 3. Ну казалось бы хорошая игра понастальгировать и поиграть в нечто похожее. В целом я закрывал глаза на бедность локаций, на скучный сюжет и думал хоть порубимся нормально. Но уже с 7 главы начали так неимоверно срать противниками, что они часто атакуют, а чтобы заблокировать атаку надо прожать B, надо часто прожимать LB чтобы уклониться, так же миксовать Y и X чтобы хоть как-то разнообразно бить, а еще прямо как в ребуте DMC, есть синие и красные противники и соответственно чтобы их убить надо активировать красные способности, а если они долго включены, то они отрубятся и их контролить надо. И все это превращается в какую-то вакханалию, где я буквально играю за Инвокера на геймпаде.

А каждый раз наблюдать кат-сцену во время включения девил триггера отдельный вид хохмы

Чую я буду с очень большими перерывами проходить игру

The intro of the game is great... then I rage quit the game because of the freakin view that is SOOO disorienting and annoying and I kept runnig into the most stupid things. I reallly find this unplayable... THE VIEW IS ANNOYING AND DISORIENTING!!!!! I really wanted to play this game!!!
I actually played with an Xbox one contoller and If this was like where you could control the camera behind the character with free look ... I would have really liked this game....

这个游戏是前段时间在抖音里面直播看人在玩，感觉画面和打击感都不错，趁着这次打折买了，玩了2天就通关了，可以说是一部被严重低估的动作游戏，让我玩的很爽一直停不下来，可惜发售4年了快我才知道这个宝藏，让我有种当年第一次接触鬼泣4的感觉，没有玩过的可以试试。

Графика красивая, атмосфрено выглядит, НО эта дурацкая камера, что там происходит вне видимости твоего обзора это очень важно, так как прилетает отовсюду и это очень влияет на комбинацию ударов, странная система блокирование, противники тупо начинают тебя запинывать и ты не успеваешь все везде взять в контроль... Либо ты тупо уворачиваешься от всего и вся рывками, либо пытаешься держать комбинацию и тупо не можешь всё заблокировать. Игру проходить только ради просмотра сюжета, так не рекомендую...

Graphics are beautiful, combat is invigorating, your weapon transforms in the middle of battle, and the combat in general fulfills that thrill. And the impact when you attack is just so good. My only gripe, and I’m not necessarily complaining but it’s my take on it, the camera angles when your exploring and moving about in the area, is awkward lol it’s like Devil may cry. It drives me kinda crazy lol but everything else is well worth the gameplay.

真踏马难崩啊，这个视角锁定，我难受的不行，制作组的nt小巧思，真给我玩笑了，我是真庆幸打折十一块买的，这要我原价入手，先把制作组全家发射上太空绕地球飞行，再差评两小时退款，不过反正打折了，游戏我也不退了，看以后有没有心情玩完吧，但这手锁视角真是犹如穿着半个月没换的内裤发现自己所有内裤都穿过了但是放在一边没洗，然后被那股熏天的闷骚味死死缠绕的窒息感
