Please don't play this. I would not wish this game on my worst enemy. The only positive I can give this game is the music, but its a Sonic game so that's a given. If you do decide to get this game, please destroy it with a nuclear bomb once you're through with it. That's how it'll make you feel after you finish it.

Pessoal, eu recomendo sonic Lost World, por ter proposta criativa de jogar entre mundos e o lobby dos níveis ser interativo com o personagem. Além disso, a OST do jogo é maravilhosa, senti nostalgia pelas músicas terem uma ótima orquestra, e em questão de gráficos e fps, é recomendado realmente os 60 fps, pois ele pode chegar a travar a tela durante a gameplay, mas o jogo vale muito a pena. Só há a questão de se acostumar com as novas mecânicas

This game is basically a combination of a 3D classic sonic game, and Mario Galaxy (you'll realise quickly after you start playing), but it's pretty good. The game could be considered as a sequel to Sonic Colours: bosses are very easy up until near the end (the final one is basically the sonic colours final boss), some interesting ideas for some levels, multiple wisps are used throughout the whole game, a lot of 2D, including some 2D only levels, you can't really go fast sometimes, the first act (and sometimes this last one) in a zone is really the only long one, the game is pretty short, collect all red rings to unlock super sonic, and a lackluster story (but I couldn't care less because it's about an extremely fast blue hedgehog). But the gameplay is very good! Despite the first zone (and even the penultimate zone too) basically being Green Hill, there are new levels, including sometimes taking place at different times of the day. Always remember about the spindash, which is basically an infinite boost, but if it's unhelpful in a particular section, don't forget about the run button (yep but I'll let it slide this one time). Graphics and music is good too unsurprisingly, but it's also pretty polished too, except from a glitch I noticed where the audio would refuse to play at one point. It's not that difficult too until the penultimate and final zones, which is fine imo. Overall I like the game, it doesn't deserve to be hated, but get it on sale like I did. I'm not sure if it warrants the full price. Hopefully I didn't miss anything :)

Хорошая игра НЕ про Соника. Сравнения с Mario Galaxy были не спроста, игра действительно играется и выглядит больше как Марио чем Соник. Плохо ли это? Это был эксперимент, то чем и славится франшиза. Тупость сюжета и персонажей является частью мультяшного стиля игры. Локации выглядят приятно и музыка не вызывает негативных эмоций. Единственная проблема это боссы. Они очень долгие и часто не понятно что вообще от тебя хотят + я бы отделил боссов на отдельные уровни. Если хотите в это сыграть - только по скидке

Before giving my thoughts, this review will have mentions of previous Sonic games and the 3DS Version of this game.

Anyways, this game was a decently fun time. After playing the 3DS Version which was a miserable experience, this game was pretty fun, not perfect but a good time nonetheless.

This game's visuals are pretty and colorful, but a little generic. The soundtrack, like the 3DS Version, was the best part. All around amazing tunes.

The levels in this game i found to be much better than 3DS for the sole reason that they were actually fun, better paced and the gimmicks worked much better. One thing though is that there was a lot of automation and the later the level take a dip. Also the Wisps are in this game for some reason and just like in the main version Sonic Colors, you dont even have to use them most of the time aside from some mandatory segments.

Despite some of the few positives, theres some stuff i disliked about the game, some of which were mentioned above.

First and foremost, this game has it that you need to rescue certain amounts of animals in order to access the boss levels and the grind for those is just bad. Its such a way to artificially pad out the playtime of the game and is much worse than games like Sonic Rush Adventure. At least in that game you could passively farm materials by uncovering hidden islands and getting higher ranks, but in here its just unnecessary.

Secondly, while i liked the levels, they get a little repetitive as for the 3D levels, theyre mostly running on a cylinder with obstacles on it, jump on a spring and go through a non-cylinder segment. The 2D levels however werent too bad honestly.

Thirdly, the story and characters are just bad. The story is more or less similar to how it was in Colors, Sonic and Tails going in and stopping whatever mischief Eggman's causing but this time theres six new villains in the mix, the Deadly Six. These new villains are some of the lamest villains and are the biggest misfits in the franchise. And as for the other stuff, Sonic and Tails are just unbearable in this game, they cannot wait to just make fun of anything or be snarky jackasses. Eggman however i liked here, he was fine.

Lastly and this is one that has been mentioned in any discussion regarding this game, this game just feels like a Mario game rather than a Sonic game. With Sonic Colors, yes it felt a bit like a Mario game but at the very least it had things that would make it feel like it would belong in the Sonic franchise. This game doesnt. You can clearly tell that they tried to make this game as appealing to Nintendo fans and Mario fans that it ended becoming just a generic looking platformer with Sonic thrown into it. A popular comparison with this game is that its like Mario Galaxy, but in reality this game felt more like New Super Mario Bros. The levels and world themes are the same as in NSMB that its almost a carbon copy. There were 2D levels that just felt like playing a NSMB level at times. It almost felt comical at how blatant it felt.

Despite the issues I have with the game and how Mario-like it felt, i think its a fine game. Not perfect by any means but not the worst. I feel like the game is a little overhated and while there's well-deserved criticism towards it, i dont think its a bad game, just one thats fine. Its nothing great, nothing bad, just fine and i think its worth checking out at least once.

I never got to play this cuz I didn't have a WiiU, but this game is actually fun. I'm glad I can play this game with my PS4 controller, I can understand how terrible this game might have been using the WiiU. Collecting the red star rings are ez, the controls are decent, and the bosses are fine. This game is kinda underrated, it doesn't have to be a boost game to be fun. I haven't beaten it yet but I'll say It's a 10/10 for me so far.

Probably the most bland Sonic game that nobody would even remember if they didn't bring the villians back for racing games. It starts okay, maybe a little fun! But as it goes on it just drags. The game reminds a lot of people of a Mario game, specifically galaxy, which I totally see. The problem is that every Mario game is more well designed than this and every Sonic game has more sauce than this (even the bad ones are usually bad in an interesting way.) So there is no point to this game.

It's... complicated. I went into this game thinking I was going to dislike it a lot more than I did I won't lie. I will admit I am the kind of freak who likes when Sonic Team do weird off the wall stuff like this but just like with any experiment, it's got some issues. First the good though. I actually like the parkour and dash mechanic, I think it makes the game feel unique and for the most part is pretty dang smooth to control. Obviously it's not perfect but I like it. The music in the game is absolutly amazing, clearly cut from the same cloth as Sonic Colors but feels more Unleashed to me with the orchastral live band stuff it's so good. The way the levels are laid out is really appealing to me, I love that there are so many routes to take and quite a bit of freedom with how you move through levels despite their linearity and the color palettes are bold and wonderful like the game just looks great all around. Despite my negative opinions on them as villains and bosses I do like that the Zeti talk to you throughout the level, it gives them so much more of presence then that would ordinarily have, it's a nice touch and hey, they're even kind of funny sometimes! And teh Nights Into Dreams stage made so happy oh my god it was so fun seeing those bosses again even if they did just have one of the zeti slapped haphazardly onto them.

Ok. Now for the bad stuff. Momentum, especially when jumping, is weird. It feels like you lose so much of it when you jump it throws me off all the time. The wall jumping is just bad, it does not feel good at all jumping from one wall to another it's not smooth because you have to be so intentional about it that it feels stilted and awkward, this is mostly an issue in the final fight against Zavok but I'll circle back to that. Speaking of bosses, I've never played a game where teh bosses are simultaneously piss easy and frustrating as hell at the same time. Like you can shred basically all of them but it's just not fun, it's boring and if they manage to actually get their attacks off, good luck dude, especially in the end game. The zeti in general...wow. Perhaps some of the worst most generic villains I have ever seen. Sure they have potential but it was not met here that's for sure. All of them have one "character trait which is more like some generic stereotype from a saturday morning cartoon and nothign else. Zavok being the lead is the most interesting but even he sucks. They all sucks they are not fun villains they are annoying and I hate that Sonic Team keeps using them but whatever. It's clear this game was intended for both a younger audience than usual with it's childish writing and nintendo fans with it's levels and characters. Since it was a Wii U exclusive before being ported to PC and Switch that makes sense but they REALLY lean into it. Of course the obvious Mario Galaxy and Bowser comparisons are common and accurate but there are literal DKC levels in this game, and they are just as frustrating as actual DKC. All the bosses take 2 hits to kill, in the final fight against Zavok he pulls this transformation out of his ass where he grow really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ big and starts shooting fireballs at you, hmm, wonder where I've seen that before. I could honestly wrote a whole essay on the fight alone (and tbh really both the zavok fights) and how bad it is but I just keep it to "it sucks!" which is funny because the actual final boss fight against Eggman was pretty fun (when it actually worked and I wasn't getting stuck). The writing I'll touch on briefly cause wow this is a long review for a kids game, but the writing is so weird. It's childish, simple, riddled with weird decisions, kinda lowkey mean-spirited, and despite all that it's just like... idk it's weird that they chose such a silly game with such silly looking and acting characters to try and do a more serious story, even Forces felt less tone deaf and that was a game where Sonic gets tortured for nearly a full year and then is just ok after getting out with no lasting effects, also Knuckles loses like 100s of troops and talks of the horrors of war. Just weird, weird, weird writing on this one I'm really not sure what they were cooking.

Idk man there's a lot of cool stuff in this game and I personally enjoyed my time with it but I do understand why people don't like a Sonic game that's cosplaying as a Mario game to curry favor from nintendo fans who probably had never played one before. But it's attempts to be a Mario Flavored Sonic Game just kinda fall flat. But like I said, I enjoyed it! It's far from perfect but that's ok, it's a 5.5/10 and I am ok with that, still found stuff to like and that a W in my book. At the very least, it's fun to laugh at in regards to writing and tone. The zeti are fun to laugh at. I'm glad the comics saved them a bit, not that they deserved it but still.

I don't get the negative comments about this game, too many people saying how bad and horrible this game is... honestly, what I've played so far it's been very fun and want to make me keep playing. It might be not perfect but it has an unique charm that I love.

Edit: I just finished, and it actually was a good game, I really enjoyed every hour played, it was very fun to collect every red ring and get an S rank in every level. Probably not the best game I've ever played but it was a fun experience even behind all that negative people will tell you about the game.

Sonic: Lost World - продолжение идей и экспериментов заложенных в Colors.
Игра очень милая, приятная внешне, цвета красивые, все сочно, но увы слегка визуально баговано (некоторые текстурки на снежном уровне мерцали в дали). Но в целом... Хорошо! Объективно где-то на 6.5 (и как ценитель серии - накидываю еще пол балла до 7). Игра хорошая, прикольная, слегка детскаы , но увы не суперовая. Хороший эксперементальный среднячок. Я не понимаю хейта вокруг игры если честно.
Физика местами такое, местами хорошо. Чтобы бегать - нужно зажимать кнопочку. И объективно, начинается все очень легко, а ближе к концу, появляется легчайший привкус и аромат хардкора с легкими нотками челленджа. Но! Если вы любите серию - играть стоит!
При всем уважении, но за фулл прайс ее брать точно не стоит. А вот по скидочке - самое оно.

sinceramente podria ser facilmente el peor juego de sonic que he jugado hasta ahora, pienso que este juego al lanzarse para wii quiso imitar el mario galaxy,grave error, ya que el juego es muy lento, sonic es lento, el movimiento es lento, y apela mas por las cinematicas y cambios abruptos de escenarios sin sentido, por otro lado los personajes y las interacciones son lo mejorsito, la musica no hay punto de comparacion, 10/10 como siempre, pero siento que este juego se aleja mucho de lo que es un sonic.tiene graficos muy bonitos y animaciones excelente pero deja mucho que desear. no es ni de cerca el mejor pero tampoco el peor de la franquisia, si te gustaria un mario de sonic este es lo que buscas

La verdad no iba con muchas ganas por los análisis, y aunque me parece bonito y el diseño parece que es lo único que está hecho con cariño a nivel visual. El control es muy patatero, no sabes lo que hacer, es confuso. A las 4 horas:

Lo bueno

Algo distinto.

El control es absurdamente raro, con acelerones, salto de bichos, no le termino ver porque lo hacen así.
Las fases son muy meeh, no tienen un flujo natural, y muchas veces no tienen sentido.
No terminas de disfrutar el juego, no engancha.
La historia tiene que estar incorporada en el juego, no con videos aburridillos.
Aparecen objetos, entiendo que es una conversión de Switchp pero...
La adaptación para PC es mala, aunque no tiene problemas de rendimiento, el uso del mando por menús es malo, y los botones puestos por encima reventando estética.. y para salir del juego tengo que ir menú principal y volver a entrar para salir, patético.

En resumen, me pasaré la historia, pero no es un Sonic que me parezca ni divertido, ni rejugable, aun recuerdo los de 16 bits siendo relativamente cortos te los pasabas una y otra vez por pura diversión.

Un 5, no lo suspendo porque Sonic tiene enchufe.

No me importa que diga el fandom de Sonic, para mí este es un gran juego. Sonic Lost World es un Sonic diferente al resto de entregas que nos ha dado SEGA a través de los años y eso no es necesariamente malo. Si bien la jugabilidad es más lenta que la de otros Sonic, también hay que tomar en cuenta que es la velocidad perfecta para los niveles que ofrece Lost World. Y hablando de niveles, este juego nos ofrece un diseño de niveles tubular similar a lo que vimos en Super Mario Galaxy 1 y 2; de hecho, muchas veces recorremos planetas que es imposible no pensar en ese diseño de Galaxy. Esto de lo tubular si bien no es para el gusto de todos, no podemos negar que muchas veces ofrece mucha rejugabilidad por ir hacia otro camino para buscar una moneda roja o por el gusto de hacerlo, tal como en las entregas clásicas de Sonic donde habían varios caminos que al final te llevaban al mismo destino.
El juego no es perfecto, tiene errores como todo en la vida. Uno de esos errores es la historia, siendo algo rara, pues te la presentan con un tono infantil y juguetón, pero que a la vez te están tratando de decir que está ocurriendo algo muy serio y peligroso como puede ser el fin de la vida en el planeta de Sonic; el problema es que nunca piensas que hay un peligro real por la culpa del tono colorido y azucarado. Otro problema son los jefes, los zetis son personajes planos, aburridos y que nunca te explican como Eggman los encontró; sus batallas pecan de malas, muchas veces siendo derrotados en menos de tres golpes. Nunca llegan a sentirse como una amenaza real y te preguntas si en verdad valía la pena poner a estos payasos. Pero lo más decepcionante es el jefe final, pues es el mismo final boss que vimos en Sonic Colors, una completa lástima.
He dicho muchas cosas negativas de este juego, aunque me sigue gustando mucho. Sus niveles me parecen divertidos, su jugabilidad me encanta, su música es buena y sus gráficos, aunque no sean realistas y espectaculares, son muy bonitos a la vista.
Si van a jugar este juego métanle mods que mejoren la experiencia como agregar los DLC de la versión de Wii U. También les recomiendo jugar su versión de 3DS, pues considero que a pesar de ser el mismo juego este se siente muy diferente y a veces termina superando a la versión de Wii U/PC.
Como diría Sergindsegasonic: Buen juego, mal Sonic.

Bueno... Lo quise jugar durante varios años y ahora que lo probé... WOW, que gran juego, es un contraste total con lo lineal de sonic forces y es HERMOSO, se enfoca mucho más en la exploración y eso me encanta.
Sega hizo un gran trabajo con este juego y me peleo a puño limpio con el que me lo discuta.

Vaya pues tercer juego de Sonic que consigo el platino la verdad, fue demasiado tedioso con gran parte de las misiones pero al menos gracias a una guía pude conseguir gran parte de los logros, dejando de lado las misiones la historia está buena si bien no será el mejor juego de Sonic pero no termina aburriendo para nada. Los Zeti se me quedaron como personajes desaprovechados no los considero malos solo que les faltó más profundidad. En tema de niveles todos tienen su estilo diferente no está nada mal la verdad lo recomiendo si quieren patearles el trasero a los Zeti más de una vez.

The game is full of tutorials and the story is ass, which is a shame cus the movement mechanics are really nice. Gameplay feels neat but levels also get repetitive. Its a great system, stuck in a game with little motivation to keep you playing.

Sonic Lost World isn't like other Sonic games, and for some reason, that makes everyone hate it. I encourage you to give it a chance and learn the mechanics, because once you do, this is one of the most satisfying Sonic games out there. And look, I know the story is bad, but it shouldn't decide whether you like this game or not. The planets are very similar to Mario Galaxy, yes, but in terms of gameplay, this is distinctly a Sonic game, NOT a Mario game. Don't expect insanely high paced speed levels. If you enjoy games like Super Mario 3D World and Sonic Frontiers, this game is similar to them both (in level design and parkour respectively), so I highly recommend it.

first the story was boring and the humor borderline unbearable
second the gamplay was extremly slow, this game did not feel like a sonic game. It felt like any mario game from that time (this is not to say dislike mario games, but not in my sonic games)
lastly the controls are very annoying

Yeah so this was a Wii U exclusive at one point...

Nah but seriously, it's got the rotating world gimmick like Mario Galaxy, and before someone says "erm ackshually Sonic X-Treme did the rotating level gimmick way before Galaxy and this game takes inspiration from that." First of all, that's true, and also you're wrong. While it is true X-Treme did the rotating level gimmick before Mario Galaxy, Lost World clearly is doing it's best to emulate Mario Galaxy, and trying [i]reeeeeally[/i] to be a Mario game in general.

Awful story, first and foremost. It is more tolerable with the Japanese cast, and their script rewrite, but the English cast with the original Pontaf and Griff script is just abysmal. The tone jumps from the most corny ahh lame nicktoons dialogue to Eggman threatening to rip out the Zeti's hearts are funny. And the tonal whiplash of Tails supposedly dying and then being turned into a cyborg. And then the tonal whiplash of Eggman "dying" in the game. Yeah it has a huge problem with tone lol. I wish they'd pick a side, is it serious or a joke game? When they flipflop like this it's so annoying. At least Colors was through and through, a basic kid's game comedy and nothing more. This was just a weird mishmash of them trying to be serious occasionally, and then also trying to one up their "comedy" from Colors.

Also the Deadly Six are insufferable. Easily the worst villains in the entire series. They look like a mixture of something you'd see in a DeviantArt OC and once again, something you'd see in Mario. They are the most cookie cutter, "we're a dysfunctional bad guy family" trope you could do. Very forgettable, and none of their personalities are unique. And that's going on a stretch saying they have personalities. They're all stereotypes with one trait, that's it. You got the Crazy/Psycho one, the Emo one, the Old Wise Master, the Valley Girl obsessed with vanity, the Fat and Dumb one, and the plain old Evil one/The Leader. That's it. No nuance, no shifts in the way they think or speak, nothing at all. And don't tell me "erm it's Sonic, it's a kids game, you can't expect it to have deep villains that-" Shut up. Chaos from Sonic Adventure? Shadow from Sonic Adventure 2? Merlina the Dark Queen from Sonic and the Black Knight? And even the more straight up villains of the franchise have a lot going on in comparison to Zavok. Black Doom from Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) and Shadow Generations, Metal Sonic from Sonic Heroes, and Dark Gaia from Sonic Unleashed have something meaningful about them. They are intrinsically tied to the origin or past of a character. Others are an oppressive, borderline possessive force. And others are akin to a Lovecraftian monster that represents destruction and everything evil in the world itself. The Deadly Six are lame in comparison to almost any other Sonic villain, except for the villains of the Modern Sonic games from the 2010's.

And speaking of the voice cast, Roger I love you man, but this is his Sonic at his worst. This is at the same level of Forces/Colors dialogue. Just really, really cringey, corny acting and dialogue. The latter isn't Roger's fault, but it's still not helped by Roger's Sonic voice in this.

The music? It's ok. Some of it is good, others again are trying so hard to sound like a Mario game. SEGA reeeeeeeally wanted those Nintendo fans to play this game lol. Probably why this was a Wii U exclusive for awhile.

Level design is meh. I'd rather play Galaxy 1 and 2, they did the gimmick better, and those levels are really fun and memorable unlike these. Sonic also controls really, really weird in this. The fact that you can never run unless you're holding down the trigger button is really weird. I know some people might say "but that's what the boost games are!!! you just hold one button" Well Sonic can also reach a running state from momentum alone in that game, even if it isn't his boost state. Here, Sonic will always be walking unless you hold won the run button. It's just weird.

Anyways, another awful game from the 2010's and a hard pass for anyone looking to play Sonic.

Gee I hope they don't bring back the Deadly Six again.

This game does not deserve all the hate it gets, it's actually pretty fun to play, the only thing I am not a fan of is the nightmare zone, otherwise the gameplay, level designs are genius & look awesome, good blend of 3D & 2D sections, Sonic does run a bit slower in this game compared to other titles, but I am not that fussed about it, maybe because I grew up playing more Spyro & Crash Bandicoot than Sonic. Overall this feels like a pretty good platformer, with a few flaws, it's well worth picking up when it's on sale.

As a fan of the franchise and comics, i can appreciate that they were trying to make something different, and i really wanted to come away from this game saying that everyone was to harsh on it, but this game does not FEEL good to play.

The story is serviceable. I think that the Zeti are fine (especially after reading the IDW comics), but it was quite cheesy.

Voice acting and music were good, but they are pretty much always good. Its basically a standard for the franchise.

The gameplay, for lack of a better word, sucks. The controls don't feel like you are playing a sonic game, they feel like they are actively fighting you the entire time. They don't explain anything, and specifically on some of the bosses, they expect you to do moves that they never give you tutorials or require you to do on any other levels to teach you aside from that one boss. They also just sometimes decide not to work. Multiple times, i died or took damage from a boss by doing the correct attack, at the correct time, just cause the game felt like it.

TLDR, game is only worth the time and money if A, it is on sale, B, you are an avid sonic fan and want to play all the games, or C, you are masochistic and just want to suffer for a few hours.

Also, i hate the "you died to much so lets just skip half the level" power and where they place them, which is more often than not, directly in the way of where you need to go to progress. At least in Mario, when you hit the skip box, they ASK if you want to skip, and you have to hit it from the bottom, so you cant really trigger it by accident.

I got this game thinking it was just overhated. I know there are some people who like the different gameplay, but for me it's just a slog getting through the levels. Even with mods, the game just wasn't fun to me. I had to use cheats to disable homing attack just to defeat the first boss. I wanted to have fun, but it just wasn't my style. I am glad other people can have fun with it though :)!

6/10. A mix of a solid platformer action and frustrating sections that will make you want to quit mid playthrough. Although I prefer the boost formula in general and the wisps implementation in Colors, I still prefer this style of game over the adventure games because this game gets straight to the point with its short cartoonish cutscenes preceding or succeeding the levels and not bogging you down with some ridiculous "cinematic" story. Your expectation of this game should be a platformer with weird mechanics that you need to master to get over the well timed-difficulty spikes. Will you have fun? Not really, but the satisfaction I got for completing the game was similar to when I beat Mega Man 1 for the first time. To me this is the most difficult 3D sonic game besides '06 but it achieves this challenge through the most un-sonic level design in the entire 3D series. If you're up for this challenge get this on a sale.

Gerade durchgespielt! Es war mein erstes Sonic Game und würde denn Game 3-4 von 5 Sternen geben.

Positiv: EXTREM GUTE Musik, Gute Boss fights und gute Animationen.
Negativ: Die meiste Zeit wird nicht erklärt was zu tun ist. Paar mal extreme §$%§&$ Stellen.

Das Game erinnert mich sehr an die Donkey Kong Country Reihe und Mario Galaxy.
Ich finde es auch nice das paar Sachen 2d sind und paar 3d.

Ich hatte Spaß aber es gab auch negative Sachen.
Die Musik ist aber wirklich 10-10

Divertido, não é como a mecânica dos jogos boost, mas já é melhor que o forces eu admito, dá pra explorar as fases legal se caso você queira coletar os red star rings, algo que eu esperava curtir e eu simplesmente achei daora é a mecânica de parkour, jogando no teclado ela é dificil no começo, mas quando você se acostuma, mano, vai lá e bota pra torar, oq de fato me incomodou mas não muito é o sonic não corre automaticamente do jeito padrão mesmo, tipo a velocidade dele nem ligo, mesmo não sendo ULTRA FAST, tá ótimo e ela cumpre o seu papel de manusear o sonic, mas você precisar pressionar uma tecla pra ele de fato correr? um pouco paia mas eu deixo passar, a história? simples porem divertida pelo menos para minha pessoa, bom pra quem quiser passar um tempo jogando uma mecânica diferente do padrão sonic, não vou tacar pau nele aqui porque sim, tem seus altos e baixos, mas eu gostei.

When i started the first stage i realized all the things i been hearing about this game over the years were mostly true, i think everyone knows it's heavily inspired by Mario games and their structure, and it just feels so off for the franchise, almost like someone asked PooPooGPT to generate a Sonic game. Terrible controls, uninspired level themes, awful childish villains and gimmicks (the wisps are so idiotic) and the worst writing the series ever had, they absolutely massacred Sonic's personality and i hate it with all my might. The run button is a really infamous thing people seem to bring up a lot, personally i didn't mind it, more control over your speed is appreciated in such a Mario-esque game, i also enjoyed the parkour system besides it's simplicity, but i heavily disliked all the rest, Sonic goes insanely slow even when holding RT, your best bet is using the Drop Dash constantly but it can be quite difficult to maneuver like that, so it really isn't fun. I can't say it was all bad, some stages like the first one and the beehive were ok, and the soundtrack is neat too, but overall i would say it's probably not worth the money (at least not mine lmao).

Absolutely terrible game. Video quality is horrendous, the dialogue is terrible, the platforming is painful to go through and the mechanics aren't explained well on how to navigate the world and especially fighting the bosses and enemies. I finally managed to beat the entire game but I felt as if it was more of an ordeal than enjoying game to play. I can see some value to the game such as the aesthetics, the exploration and even at times when the parkour mechanics work there's something to be had but unfortunately these are very minor good points to an overall bad experience. It's not a good game in my opinion and even with mods to enhance some of the faults I wouldn't recommend unless its at a very steep discount but truth be told you wouldn't be missing out on much by skipping on this entry. There's potential and I hope one day Sonic Team revisits this concept for Sonic but as of right now it's definitely good ideas but bad execution all around.

Honestly, It's a decent game! It's not fantastic, but for what it goes for is fine. The only complaints i can think of were the zeti fights were a little wobbly between HARD and super easy, with no in-between, Sonic definitely needs to have momentum when turning, and the timer on some of the power-ups seems super short for what the game wants you to do sometimes. other than that though, it's great!

I think this might actually be my least favorite Sonic game.

I'm not the type to punch down on Sonic, or see the series as ever having had a "dark age."
Most of them I do enjoy! Even some of the 'bad' ones.

But this game is just frustrating to me and leaves me baffled that much.

ソニックらしからぬゲームスピードを抑えた作品ゆえファンからの評価はよくない作品。
ただ単体のアクションゲームとして見ればそんなに悪くない作品です。
序盤は結構面白いし終盤も死に覚え的な面白さはあります。
しかし中盤にはかなり理不尽じみた調整を感じる箇所もありそこは注意。ただ死にまくるとスキップの救済もあるので無理なら使えばいいと思います。

Очень странная игра,но не плохая.
Вышла эта часть в 2013 году на Wii U,но была перевыпущена на ПК в 2015.Продажи были плохими,а оценки критиков и игроков неоднозначными.Но такая ли игра плохая?Нет.
По своей основе это тот же самый Соник,но тут разработчики решили отойти от привычной формулы с бустом и сделали что-то новое.Вдохновлялись они Super Mario Galaxy,и поэтому уровни в этой игре дают побегать на них на все 360 градусов.Скорость в игре стала меньше,даже не скажешь что это Соник.Добавили паркур,который со сдешними механиками делают платформинг более глубоким.В целом если говорить про эту игру то стоит учесть что она делает упор на платформинг, а не на скорость.
Про сюжет в этой игре говорить не стоит,он прост и из олицетворяет всю ту мета эру Соника.Основные персонажи прописаны еще кое как,а вот Зети это безыдейные болванчики от которых ловишь неистовый кринж.
Музыка в игре приятная,но иногда некоторые треки ассоциируются с каким-то СССР.Визуал в игре тоже приятный,но прям видно в некоторых моментах что игра портировалась с слабенькой Wii U.
Общее впечатление об игре следующее:это неплохая игра,но НЕ про Соника.
Как первый опыт с франшизой так себе,но если вы уже поиграли в достаточно привычных игр про ежа,то можно попробовать и это чудо.
Доп контент в игре присутствует,это пару уровней после прохождение,которые открываются за сбор животных.Достижение в игре фу,их целых 100 штук и это скучнейшие миссии типа сбора колец или использование виспов.Кстати на счет животных,они что-то типа медалек из Анлишеда,не понятно зачем это тут,ведь едь один пустынный уровень на котором можно легко фармить пушистых и не париться.Просто растягивает геймплей на минут 10 может,мусор.
Так же для игры есть 1 ДЛС с очень прикольным уровнем из Найтс.Я в эту серию игр не играл,но через один уровень почувствовал ее вайб.

Honestly? It's a pretty terrible port, horrible menus, ridiculous moments where it takes on a life of its own in order to spite you, your family and likely put some sort of curse on your firstborn. Sentencing your bloodline to an eternity of ham-fisted controls, shoddy graphic and villains so forgettable SEGA themselves have all but forgotten half of a group literally called the Deadly Six. Do not buy this game. Purchase holy water and garlic instead to assist those who have.

This game taught me to never trust the general consensus of the Sonic fan base

This game doesn't deserve nearly as much of the hate it gets. It is genuinely such a blast to play, has fantastically designed levels and fun bosses (even if most are a bit too easy) and controls better than most Sonic games I've played thanks to the run button (which i know many Sonic fans despise)

I really don't understand why the fan base considers this to be one of the worst games and Sonic Unleashed to be one of the best in the franchise (which sucks because that game forced you to replay levels over and over and over for stupid emblems to proceed)

The graphics are gorgeous (especially with the improvement patch that allows for anti aliasing), the story is fun (do we really need to expect a life-changing story from a Sonic game?) and the game has perfect pacing overall

I'm sitting here scratching my head as to why this game is so massively hated on. I had such a fun time with it.

My only real complaints was that the PC version could've been better optimized, and I wish the game did a better job introducing you to the controls and mechanics

Este juego esta muy bien ya que tiene un gameplay muy distinto pero muy entretenido aunque algunos niveles no son tan disfrutables ya que buscan meterte mecanicas muy distintas
Para mi gusto las que mas disfrute fueron las horientadas a un estilo mas parecido a un nivel principal por ejemplo el primer nivel del juego
Aunque tambien la variedad lo vuelve unico ya que es bastante creativo en la apariencia
En resumen me gusto bastante y esta a un precio muy reducido

Não entendo quem fala que o jogo é ruim, ele é claramente inspirado em Mario Galaxy e Sonic Colors mas tratam ele como se fosse uma cópia. É um jogo muito fácil de zerar principalmente pela facilidade dos bosses que morrem com 2 ou 4 hits. Não vale o preço cheio, então espere um desconto para pegar, porém é um jogo divertido que zera em menos de 1 dia, Recomendo.

This could have been quite a good game, it's got some interesting ideas and some good level design. But as the game goes on it just gets worse and worse. Some truly afwul game design in here. Approaching the end of the game was just a slog. Almost got to the end but ended up giving up because of the awful boss fights. What a shame. At least the music is good.
