Dieses Spiel ist eine konsequente Parodie auf Souls-like-Spiele: absurd schwer ist es nicht,es ist voller unnötiger Herausforderungen und ironischer Belohnungen.Die Dungeons sind nicht extrem kompliziert – präzise Sprünge über schwebende Steine,das Sammeln aller versteckten Objekte wie Käserollen und das Überleben plötzlicher Fallen sind reine Frustmomente,die aber bewusst humorvoll gestaltet sind.Belohnungen wie die „Komm-damit-klar-Brille“ sind völlig sinnlos,verdeutlichen aber die Ironie und den Sarkasmus des Spiels.
Die Story ist nebensächlich und die Witze flach,aber das ist Teil des Konzepts:das Spiel spielt bewusst mit Erwartungen,übertreibt Hindernisse und zeigt,wie unnötig komplex manche moderne Souls-like-Titel Spieler auf die Probe gestellt werden(eventuell).Wer alles erkundet,jeden Gegner mitnimmt und sich auf absurde Rätsel einlässt,bekommt ein einzigartiges,witziges Erlebnis und auch eine recht lange Spielzeit(wenn man alles erkunden möchte).

Kurz: absurd,herausfordernd teilweise,ironisch – ein Spiel für Voll-Erforscher mit Humor.Eventuell nichts für jeden,Spieler da sich die Witze wiederholen und etwas flach sind auf Dauer.Die Flache Story passt aber auch sehr gut.Kann man in 7 Stunden durchspielen,aber die Möglichkeit sich da etwas länger aufzuhalten ist gegeben und ich nutze dies weil mir hier noch einige Errungenschaften fehlen die ich noch haben will:)! Kann das Spiel empfehlenswert empfehlen:)).

I was expecting to cringe at some point, but it never happened.

The game was just long enough to enjoy the jokes and complex enough not to feel dull. If you're just goofing around (if you are not enjoying the combat consider running a full movement speed build and zoom through the dungeons), this is highly recommended.

A reluctant thumbs down. I was enjoying the humor and silliness of the game, then found that some of the controls weren't working. Couldn't get any further because the ALT key didn't work. (no keyboard problems outside the game, so it had to be am in-game issue.
Maybe if you can use a controller......

This game is part of the modern trend of silliness and satire of gaming in general. It is a blast from start to finish. It played well and had few annoyances. It never once takes itself seriously. There were only a couple boss fights, but they each had a different gimmick to beat them which was nice.

Pros:
Lots of fun. A hilarious Narrator and characters.
Great Controls.
Fairly Intuitive
A tad on the shorter end, but for the price well worth the $$

Cons:
A couple small glitches here and there.
A bit of a cliffhanger ending where it feels like a bit more content should have been.

This game is REALLY funny. Its a parody of your typical (A)RPGs, and it plays with those tropes quite well.

The story is super silly but works well for the style of the game, the Narrators commantary is probably my favorite part.
The gameplay/combat is pretty repetetive but simple and quick enough to get you through till the end.
The strongest point of the game is 100% undeniably the humor tho. Its like a 10 Hour long playable ♥♥♥♥-post.

Für jemanden der Platten ♥♥♥♥-Post humor von vor ein Paar jahren etwas abgewinnen kann, hat mit Sir Whoopass immer wieder was zu Schmunzeln.
Gameplay technisch fällt die Kurve nach zwei bis drei Stunden spürbar ab aber das mühelose Gameplay und ein stetes Gefühl von Fortschritt halten einen bei der Stange.
Polish und technische Ausgereiftheit halten sich in Grenzen, was man einem Spiel in diesem Genre aber Verzeien können sollte.
Ich fand gut, unterhaltsam und hatte seinen Charme. Aber nicht ein zweites mal.

It's a comedy game. The jokes are somewhat funny. A good mix of trope fantasy humour, visual gags, and poking fun at the Souls-like genre.

Unfortunately, the devs felt because it's funny, they didn't need to make a good game. The combat is bad and so repetitive. Even more unfortunately it does what so many other comedy games do and the jokes peter out about 1/3 of the way into the runtime.

I expected a payoff joke for seeing the game through to the end but nope just a lazy setup for DLC which no one should buy. I call very few games a total waste of time but this one is - It reminded me of Saints Row 3 minus all the fun parts.

Probably one of the few games released recently that has made me laugh almost all the time i play it. Humor, bugs, everything was made to be entertaining and i absolutely love it. Would highly recommend everyone to give it a go and just unwind and have fun. No midmaxing, no stat calculations, just run around, kill stuff and enjoy the ride. The skin/emote pack isnt mandatory, just the base game is great in itself if you wanna save some cash.

I can't understand how this game is rated very positive. The only attempt in this game was to make it fun, but unfortunately some things caused more embarrassment than laughs. Eight hours of playing this game with friends felt accomplishment than pleasure. Really buggy thing. Not much effort put into the game mechanics and the videos and images on the steam store have been carefully chosen to make the game look much nicer than it actually is. Save your money for something else.

Casual players who enjoy absurd humor, co-op chaos, and something light to unwind with after competitive shooters.
Not recommended for:
Anyone who hates puns, crude jokes, or intentionally goofy animations. You know who you are.

Thoughts:
I came for a casual co-op session and somehow ended up turning enemies into chickens and committing poultry-based war crimes.

After about 2.9 hours, it’s clear this game fully commits to chaotic, self-aware nonsense — and it mostly pulls it off. Combat is intentionally messy and punishing if you play stupid, which fits the tone, even if it occasionally feels rough.

The humor lands hard. Enemy names, weapon names, item descriptions — everything is packed with jokes. I haven’t laughed this much at a game in a long time. My wife was watching me play and couldn’t stop laughing while asking “what is this game?” — which feels like the intended response.

Loot and progression exist, but they’re modest. Most rewards are hats with small perks and jokes attached. Nothing jaw-dropping, but that also didn’t hurt the experience.

Exploration stayed fun throughout our co-op session. There was always something odd or funny to stumble into. Dungeons are a highlight (a disco party in a sewer sets expectations perfectly). The UI works well, though a small minimap would’ve helped while roaming.

The open world throws a lot of enemies at you, and by the end I sometimes just ran past mobs. That said, this is a button-mashing slasher, not a slow RPG — constant encounters are part of the design. The tax man enemy deserves a special mention.

No bugs so far, and co-op worked flawlessly.

I've unlocked 14 achievements in less than an hour. Open world part was enough for me to decide that time is valuable. I'm sad to say, but whaaaat, no. And I love parodies. 4/10

PROS:
- humor, I guess works sometimes
- it has its charm, I give it that

CONS:
- micro stutters outside of tutorial dungeon
- humor when it doesn't work made me feel ashamed for the game
- very rough combat 'mechanics'
- horrible animations and only passable visuals
- locations feel and look like asset flips
- ...so do NPC-s which have A, but not I in it's 'AI'

Sorry, I know someone put time into developing this; but if you go for toilet humor type, at least make the actual game better, I cannot recommend it in this market over-saturation.

Even if this game were free id still feel that id wasted my money. It is trying far far too hard to be "Quirky" but it is utterly trash. I found this game by total chance scrolling through the store. I knew I would buy the game just from the title, but what i did not expect is for this game to be so good. It reminds me alot of the old games i used to play like SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom and Family Guy the video game. If you are bored and are on the brink of insanity this is the best game for you. I honestly can give any bad thoughts on it I have been completely impressed. I will be watching this developer for future games for sure

If you played any of the Baldur's Gate or Elder Scrolls franchises, and you enjoy a parody, this is a great game. Plenty of cheesy humor (literally) and I love that the game doesn't take itself too seriously. It's not the most polished work I've ever seen, and it gets a bit grindy in the latter stages, but the humor makes it worth it.

Это самая весёлая и забавная игрушка, в которую я играл за последнее время) Она отлично высмеивает всю суть жанра RPG. Играется легко и весело.

В чём суть: мы типа герой, которого посадил в тюрьму злой волшебник, который поработил деревенский люд, и как и должно быть по канону, мы выбирается из тюрьмы и пытается свергнуть этого негодяя. Это если вкратце! Если вы играли в игры подобного жанра, то тут почти тоже самое. В игре есть данжи, прокачка, шмотки которые тебя усиливают, квесты и т.п., и всё это подкреплено рофлами, шутками и абсурдом.

Я проходил игру в соло, но тут имеется и кооператив и я уверен что играться с друзьями это будет минимум интересно, а максимум орно, орать будете все и по многу раз) На прохождение игры у меня ушло 7 часов и я кайфунул. Пройти такое залпом мне не удалось, поэтому на это ушло 3-4 дня. После сюжета в игре можно походить побродить по миру, закрыть все данжи на 100%, да и просто мир тут прикольный, после сюжета можно снова зайти по веселиться, покачаться. Я поставил игре 7 баллов, не потому что она плохая, она отличная, просто я люблю более серьёзное повествование и всё что с эти связано, рофельные игрушки мне нравятся, но для меня они чисто время убить, углубиться в суть веселой игры сложно, да это и не нужно! Эта игра делает ровно то, что от неё требуется, а большего и нужно! Я очень советую поиграть вам в неё и весело провести время)

Sir Whoopass: Immortal Death - İnceleme

Sir Whoopass: Immortal Death, absürt mizahı aksiyon odaklı oynanışıyla birleştiren, kendisini fazla ciddiye almayan hafif bir hack-and-slash macerası. Oyun, “kaderin seçilmiş kahramanı” temasını tamamen tersine çevirerek, her şeyi eline yüzüne bulaştıran ama bir şekilde ilerlemeyi başaran talihsiz şövalye Sir Whoopass’ın macerasını anlatıyor.

Oynanış

Oynanış temelde yakın dövüş ağırlıklı, basit fakat akıcı bir hack-and-slash sistemi üzerine kurulu. Düşman çeşitliliği çok geniş olmasa da, kısa süren bir oyun olduğu için ritmi düşürmeden ilerliyor. Hafif RPG öğeleri, loot sistemi ve ara ara karşımıza çıkan küçük bulmacalar deneyime çeşitlilik katıyor.

Kontroller akıcı, ancak dövüşte derinlik arayan oyuncular için yeterli kombinasyon veya stratejik katman bulunmuyor. Oyun daha çok eğlenceli bir “koş, vur, topla” dinamiği üzerine inşa edilmiş.

Atmosfer ve Tasarım

Oyunun en güçlü yanı, mizah anlayışı. Absürt diyaloglar, kendisiyle dalga geçen bir anlatım dili ve birçok oyun – film klişesine yapılan parodiler keyifli bir ton yaratıyor.
Düşman tasarımları, çevre modellemeleri ve görsel efektler küçük bir stüdyo için tatmin edici seviyede. Renk paleti canlı, mekanlar sade ama yeterince okunaklı.

Ses ve Müzik

Müzikler temaya uygun bir şekilde hafif fantastik tonda ilerlerken, seslendirmeler özellikle komedi unsurunu güçlendiriyor. Sir Whoopass’ın tepkileri ve ara sahnelerdeki anlatıcı oldukça başarılı.

Oyun genel olarak stabil çalışıyor. Optimizasyon iyi, sistem gereksinimleri düşük. Ufak tefek animasyon sertlikleri ve bazı kamera sorunları dışında ciddi bir teknik problem yaşatmıyor.

Sir Whoopass: Immortal Death, uzun bir deneyim sunan bir yapım değil. Ortalama 2–4 saatlik kompakt bir macera.
Hızlı, hafif, kafa yormayan eğlence arayanlar için uygun; ancak derinlik bekleyen oyunculara hitap etmiyor.

Für ein Indiespiel ist es ganz okay! Insbesondere im Koop-Modus, einschließlich freundlicherer Hiebe, macht es Laune.
Die mit Flachwitzen gespickte Story ist vielleicht gewöhnungsbedürftig. Mir entlockte das Spiel aber den ein oder anderen Schmuntzler.
Die Vertonung ist für ein Indiegame überdurchschnittlich gut, wenngleich auch nur ein Sprecher eingesetzt wurde. Die Grafik ist zweckdienlich. Der Spielumfang ist für Perfektionisten voll ausreichend.
Negativ empfand ich die Kampfsteuerung (vielleicht ist es auch nicht meine Steuerung) und dass gegen Ende nicht mehr viele Abwechslungen vorhanden war.
Besonders genervt hat mich immer das automatische Wechseln auf die Regenschirmkopfbedeckung bei Regen. Wäre schön gewesen, wenn nach dem Regen wieder die vorher getragene Kopfbedeckung automatisch angelegt werden würde.
Wer also kurzweilige simple Unterhaltung im Koop sucht, dem kann ich das Spiel empfehlen. Doch Vorsicht! Vertraut niemals Eurem Mitspieler bei den Bodenplatten-gesteuerten Gittern ;)...
