This is probably one of the worst adventure games, and I played a lot of them. The writing is a total cliche-fest, the characters are obnoxious and hard to sympathize with, the voice acting is wooden and disconnected, the plot nonsensical, and the gameplay consists of endless inventory puzzles that require the most absurd combinations of items which quickly degrade to the "use everything on everything" routine. Example - a guy falls into a hypoglycemic coma. You have a chocolate bar, but you cannot just put it in his mouth - the "proper" solution is to dissolve the bar in a bucket of seawater filtered through medical gauze. The plot is a blatant rip-off of the Uncharted series (there is even a magazine of the same name in the game), but completely devoid of Uncharted's charm, easy-flowing plot and refreshing gameplay. The plot drags on for 20 hours or so, and believe me, you will be happy when you are through.

Just like the first game, this one is also a really good point and click adventure game, the main characters are back and some other characters make cameos too, the story on this one is a bit weaker compared to the first game, but it still had an interesting one. Puzzles on the other hand got a bit weirder and harder probably because it wasnt as obvious as the puzzles in the first one, most were still logic bound, but some of the later ones were way harder to grasp than any i found on the first game.

It ran almost flawlessly on the deck, the game has a bug early on, in the cruise ship when you need to clean the ceiling window, you need to switch the game to windowed mode, otherwise Nina will disappear and nothing will happen when you interact with the window, after that, you can switch back to fullscreen, the rest of the game was bug free for me and this bug is present on the game itself and its not exclusive to beign played on the deck.

Still a worth a playthrough if you enjoy the genre and the franchise!

Первая часть-то шедевром не была, но вторая сразу пошла на дно. Весь сюжет тупо сводится к "случайность, случайность, случайность". Бомж в Париже случайно оказывается любителем истории. Машина случайно облила водой дворника, который расчистил героине путь. Герои в принципе случайно оказались втянуты в эту историю. И в конце, разумеется, случайно под рукой окажется вертолет.

Но в сравнении с дизайном головоломок сценарий - это еще сильная сторона игры. Потому что тут просто ушли в отрыв, логика существует лишь на минимальном уровне. Локации завалены мусором, который порой разбросан без какой-либо логики, ну а герои, разумеется, без труда мастерят из генератора (емнип) грузовика и ржавого мотоцикла мотор для лодки.

Ужас и кошмар, снижающий интеллект любого, кто на него глянет. Не особо смешная пародия на Broken Sword. Просто набор каких-то случайных сущностей, из которых человек с очень богатой фантазией в бреду собрал целую игру.

Из положительных моментов можно отметить, пожалуй, задники - они неплохие. И несколько шуток, пробивающих четвертую стену, тоже нормальные. Все остальное просто ужас.

Schöne Fortsetzung die auch wirkliche Probleme der Welt wie Klimakrisen aufgreift. Allerdings ist die Beziehung zwischen Nina und Max nur noch nervig. Erst trennen sie sich und wollen nix mehr voneinander wissen und kaum sehen sie sich wieder, wird wieder anzüglich geflirtet und schwupps wieder zusammen. Dieses On Off passt da einfach nicht rein!

[h1] Introduction [/h1]

"Secret Files 2: Puritas Cordis" is the 2009-released successor to classic Point-'n-Click-Adventure "Secret Files: Tunguska" by German developer Animation Arts. Again we take control of our heroic couple Nina Kalenkow and Max Gruber, this time trying to outsmart a murderous sect responsible for several natural disasters all around the globe. The game serves as some sort of "Stand-Alone-Sequel", as its plot is not connected to that of the first game, except for some minor connotations and, of course, the recurring cast of characters.

[h1] Story [/h1]

The game starts off with a dramatic prologue, in which we take control of bishop Parrey. After receiving a mysterious parchment from a colleague who was found dead in the meantime, the bishop tries to decipher the piece. Unfortunately, he soon finds himself hunted by armed killers...
Roughly a year after the dramatic events of "Secret Files: Tunguska", Nina and Max broke up and both try to cope in their own ways. While Max dives into his work and flies to Indonesia with blonde Archaeologist Sam Peters, Nina boards a cruise ship to get her head straight and relax a little. Too bad that a strange man bumps into her before dying in a tragic accident. And things on the cruise ship are only going to get stranger and stranger for Nina and somehow, this weird new sect called Puritas Cordis seems to be connected to everything...
While the story starts off really engaging, I must admit that it really lacks clear focus and dramatic highlights that were all too present in the first game. While the search for Ninas father was a meaningful task, our heroes in part 2 are rather thrown into different situations and have to react to them, without really following an agenda of their own. This is quite sad, because the basic plot that includes natural disasters and a dangerous sect could have been a really captivating one.

[h1] Gameplay [/h1]

The game stays true to its predecessor and doesn't innovate too much. It's still a classic Point-'N-Click-Game that benefits from the same comfort features as the first part, namely the intelligent mouse cursor, a hot spot finder and an in game notebook that provides several clues for the riddles if needed. We maneuver our characters through several locations, pick up and combine various items and try to solve mostly logical puzzles in order to make progress. That said, some of the puzzles can be quite difficult to figure out logically and rather work by good old "combine-everything-with-everything-Madness". But it wouldn't be a classic Point-'N-Clcik-Adventure without this, right?
One of the most prominent new features is the introduction of new playable characters alongside Nina and Max. Unfortunately, these are quite underused in my opinion. One of them is bishop Parrey, who is only controlable during the dramatically staged but short prologue of the game and the second new character, Sam Peters, is only playable during one, rather complex puzzle in which she is imprisoned and we mainly control Max and try to get her out. I really wished the game would have featured more content with the new characters, since this was a bit underwhelming, but since I really like Nina and Max, I'm still happy with what I got. Especially because our two main protagonists get a little more fleshed out in this Episode and once more make for a charming couple, especially towards the end of the game!

[h1] Graphics and technical aspects [/h1]

The graphics of "Puritas Cordis" are a slight improvement over part 1. Although both games look similar, the sequel shows some clear improvements over it's predecessor, namely new facial animations that are used during several close ups in cut scenes, slightly better movement animations (which were a weak spot in part 1) and overall just more CGI-Cutscenes to deliver the story. Despite these improvements, the game still shows it's age and isn't a technical marvel, but it's clearly a step up from "Secret Files: Tunguska".
While the locations are again beautifully captured, it feels like there are fewer areas than in part 1 and, more importantly, fewer exotic, eye-catching locations. This is a bit of a bummer, as the different locations are, to me, one of the most fascinating aspect of every Point-'N-Click-Game.
A positive aspect on the other hand are again the voice actors. At least in the German version all of them are perfectly casted an deliver great performances that really improve the game and it's characters.

[h1] Conclusion [/h1]

For me personally, "Secret Files 2: Puritas Cordis" is a bit worse than it's predecessor. Reasons for that being the narrative, which starts off interesting, but is less focussed than that of the first game. On top of the that, while most puzzles are logical and fair, some are a bit too artifically complicated and rely more on mechanical try-and error than on wits. On top of that, the playtime is a tad shorter than that of the first part, taking me a bit more than 9 hours to finish compared to part 1's almost 11 hours. That being said, it's still far from being a bad game and can be recommended to everyone who enjoyed the first part and wants more. It's a good Point-'N-Click-Adventure in its own right that simply fails to meet the high standards of part 1 despite the devs having done their best to improve upon the formula.

No, this is not a classic point n click adventure. There is a striking abyss between how well designed the challenges are and how fluid are the puzzles, and the absolutely atrocious writing, as if they did not know how to write specific characters but only superficial tropes. That makes any of the playable characters unbearable, the dialogues never ending and that, really, I don't feel I want to have this journey with them.

However the rest of the point n click elements are so polished that the game is still entertaining.

Táto časť má značné zlepšenie, boli tam lokality ktoré ma aj fakt bavili také na odreagovanie a dobre sa mi to hralo, Dabing sa žiaľ nezmenil k lepšiemu čo má Nina taktiež som zaznamenala že sa mi niekoľkokrát sama od seba vypla hra a samozrejme som to musela začať hrať odznova ako keď som začala keď som si hru neukladala každú chvílu ale to už je potom speedrun. Puzzle niekedy nedávajú zmysel tie kombinácie. Inak som s hrou spokojná neponúkne nič naviac ale ani nesklame. Koho baví tento žáner môžte sa do toho smelo pustiť. :)

The first sequel in the "Secret Files" series is very similar to its predecessor, including the great (German) voice-acting and an engaging story. This time, you even switch back and forth between the two main characters with each chapter.

You will see changes in the slightly better graphics and also the increased difficulty though. While puzzles in the first game were pretty logical, they can be a bit convoluted and strange here.

Don't worry, that doesn't kill the fun. If you liked the first game, you will enjoy this one as well!

Aunque lo he sentido algo menos original que el primero, incluso a veces un batiburrillo de recoger objetos sin saber para qué en los inicios de cada zona. Pero es verdad que se disfruta mucho, los comentarios irónicos de la protagonista son lo mejor, incluso rompiendo la cuarta pared de forma magistral. Y con muchos momentos de combinar objetos y utilizarlos en el entorno te hace sentir ese momento eureka que tanto nos gusta en este tipo de juegos. Cuando entiendes lo que espera el juego que hagas, todo va súper hilado hasta resolverlo.

TLDR: Ein würdiger Nachfolger des ersten Teils, sollte aber auch nicht ohne Kenntnis von diesem gespielt werden.

Wem der erste Teil (Tunguska) gefiel, dem wird auch dieser gefallen. Von Spielstil, Humor und Thematik ändert sich eigentlich nicht viel. Wieder verwickelt man sich nichtsahnend in eine Verschwörung und muss die Welt vor ihrem Untergang bewahren. Das Spiel lebt, wie auch der Vorgänger, von seinem Humor, der in der deutschen Sprachfassung von den Sprecherinnen und Sprechern auch toll rübergebracht wird.

Mir hat der erste Teil storymäßig minimal besser gefallen, aber das mag persönliche Präferenz sein, mir fällt jetzt nicht Objektives ein, was dieser Teil schlechter macht. (Vielleicht abgesehen von dem "Sam" Segment, da ich die Figur einfach sehr nervig finde). Ein paar Handlungselemente hätten vielleicht etwas mehr erklärt werden können ( [spoiler] z.B. warum sich Nina und Max überhaupt getrennt haben [/spoiler] ).

Grafisch sieht alles etwas besser aus, aber man sollte natürlich angesichts des Alters auch nicht zu viel erwarten.

Die Haupthandlung dieses Teils steht zwar für sich, aber es macht aus meiner Sicht nicht viel Sinn, den ersten Teil auszulassen, da einem sonst viele Figuren unbekannt sind und man Anspielungen auf den ersten Teil nicht versteht.

Tenhle díl se posunul v grafice, takže zážitek je zas o něco lepší a různé lokace ve hře jsou opět příjemné zpestření. Jako jednohubka tenhle díl ujde, ale bohužel tak trošku dost s odřenýma ušima. Příběh je celkem taková nudná klasika, občas nelogická řešení v kombinovaní různých předmětů či postupu ve hře až si člověk říká, cože?? Některé lokace byli opravdu děsná nuda, ale jiné zas celkem dost bavily. Takže shrnutí pokud se chcete dostat k poslednímu dílu jo je to nutnost. :D Celkové hodnocení 6/10

Deux ans après la très bonne surprise qu'a été Secret Files: Tunguska, arrive cette suite intitulée Secret Files 2: Puritas Cordis.
Dans cette aventure, Nina enquête sur une série de catastrophes qui s'avèrent moins naturelles qu'on ne pourrait le penser.
La recette du premier épisode fonctionne toujours, même si les enjeux sont moins personnels (rappelons que dans le premier Secret Files, Nina essayait de retrouver les traces de son père) et que l'on est ici un peu plus dans la conspiration.
Un épisode un peu en deçà de son aîné, mais qui reste tout à fait plaisant.

Nachdem ich den ersten Teil bereits kenne, habe ich mich sehr auf den zweiten gefreut.
Leider kann dieser nicht so überzeugen wie Tunguska. Einige Rätsel sind ziemlich langatmig, andere wiederum richtig toll.
Das größte Problem ist, dass mich die Geschichte nicht so abholen konnte wie Geheimakte Tunguska damals. Die Sekte und co. sind interessant, aber nach seinem grandiosen Vorgänger ist dieses Spiel eher mittelmäßig.
Dennoch muss ich erwähnen, dass es sein geringes Geld schon wert ist und alle Tunguska-Fans sich bestimmt freuen Nina wieder zu treffen.

I really enjoyed the first game and I'm genuinely struggling to finish the second. Everyone sounds so sleepy and dead. There have been a couple of moments where I've just been picking up things off the ground for 20minutes which then lead me to just arbitrarily trying to smash them together or use them on everything because I'd lost a bit of interest by the time my inventory was ready.

It's not awful, it does what it should do but I'm hoping for more fun in the third one.

Après avoir terminé le premier jeu de la série Secret Files, j'ai continué avec celui-ci, qui présente un scénario similaire à celui du précédent.

"Secret Files 2 : Puritas Cordis" est globalement satisfaisant, les énigmes sont agréables et intéressantes, bien que je trouve l'histoire moins originale et moins élaborée que celle de Tunguska. C'est un peu redondant au niveau du scénario, toujours avec une apocalypse à venir ou une fin du monde imminente, où nos héros doivent sauver la planète... mouais...

Cependant, tout comme pour le jeu précédent, j'ai pris plaisir à revivre cette aventure de nombreuses années plus tard. Le style point and click avec des énigmes à résoudre me convient parfaitement. J'apprécie également que l'histoire se déroule dans plusieurs lieux différents tout au long du jeu (Bateau de croisière, Indonésie, Paris, etc.), ce qui apporte un petit plus au gameplay selon moi.

L'humour "noir" présent dans les dialogues avec les personnages est toujours drôle et agréable.
Les personnages de Nina et Max demeurent fidèles à ceux du jeu précédent, le doublage en français est plutôt bon et l'ambiance générale du jeu est satisfaisante.

En ce qui concerne les graphismes, je ne vais pas vous mentir, ce n'est pas vraiment impressionnant (Il faut dire que ce jeu a été créé à la fin des années 2000) bien que cela reste tout de même convenable pour y consacrer une dizaine d'heures.

Cependant, je recommande de jouer à "Secret Files : Tunguska" avant celui-ci afin de mieux savourer cette suite de la franchise, car il y a plusieurs références au jeu précédent dans certains moments de cette histoire.

J'ai vraiment apprécié revivre cette aventure captivante que je recommande sans hésitation à tous les passionnés de jeux classiques point and click !

Secuela de la trilogía que nos vuelve a situar en medio de una macroconspiración que, casualidades de la vida, siempre nos acaba pillando por el medio. Se nota que el estudio decidió, simplemente, replicar la fórmula que tan bien les había funcionado en la primera entrega (si algo funciona bien, para qué cambiarlo). Nos volvemos a encontrar con un argumento complejo (a veces demasiado), puzzles no demasiado complicados y lógicos, una gran duración, líneas y líneas y de texo, y visita a multitud de escenarios.

En esta nueva entrega, podremos manejar "simultáneamente" a nuestros dos protagonistas (y a algún invitado especial), intercambiando objetos entre ellos, lo cual ampliará en algún caso la dinámica planteada hasta ahora. Por lo demás, aventura de estilo "canónico", pero que a mí personalmente, me sigue gustando, ya que me recuerda a otras aventuras como los Syberia (en su estilo) o Gabriel Knight/Brok Sword (en su argumento). Esta entrega me parece un escalón por debajo de la primera (supongo que también inflluye el hecho de no haber innovado demasiado), pero si eres un fan del género, me sigue pareciendo una opción entretenida y disfrutable.

I got this game for 1 euro and it was worth that amount but not much more. The voice acting is seriously the most terrible I have ever heard. Max sounds like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and Nina's voice is so annoying I had to turn off the sound every now and then. Puzzles and the story are ok. Replay value? Nah, but I don't regret playing it.

Secret Files 2: Puritas Cordis. Un título que fue lanzado en 2007, es una secuela que promete mucho y, bueno, cumple con algunas cosas. Primero, hablemos de la dificultad. Si encontraste la primera entrega un poco desafiante, aquí tienes buenas noticias: ¡esta es más fácil! Bueno, al menos hasta que llegas al final y te das cuenta de que los desarrolladores tenían un as bajo la manga. Así es, el final es tan complicado que podría provocar más de un tirón de pelo. Pero, oye, ¿no es esa la diversión de las aventuras gráficas? Los personajes son un punto fuerte, aunque nuestra querida Nina ha adoptado un tono sarcástico que puede ser tan dulce como el limón en una herida abierta. Sí, a veces es un poco insoportable pero, ¿quién no disfruta de un buen sarcasmo de vez en cuando? Max, por otro lado, sigue siendo el contrapunto perfecto, aunque la forma en que sus historias se entrelazan es más rebuscada que una teoría conspirativa. La trama nos presenta una secta apocalíptica con un líder decidido a destruir el mundo con un mega tsunami. Sí, has leído bien. La variedad de escenarios es impresionante, aunque la linealidad del juego te hace sentir como si estuvieras en un tour guiado sin opción a desvíos. El sistema de ayuda merece una mención especial por su ineptitud, algo así como tener un GPS que te lleva siempre por el camino más largo. Las soluciones a los acertijos a veces desafían la lógica, pero supongo que eso forma parte del encanto. Afortunadamente, aquí no hay muertes inesperadas, lo cual es un alivio para los que odiamos perder a nuestro personaje por un paso en falso. Y el final, con su divertido recuento de lo que les pasa a todos los personajes y ese toque de "in memoriam", es un detalle que merece un aplauso. En resumen, Secret Files 2: Puritas Cordis es una aventura gráfica entretenida, irónica y, a veces, frustrante, pero sin duda, un viaje que vale la pena.

Secret Files 2 is a lovely sequel. The environments are pretty, the story is intriguing, puzzles are fun, and the game doesn't take itself seriously. Overall it is a very enjoyable adventure and it carries over the lighthearted feel I liked about the original!

[h1]Unterhaltsam aber überbewertet[/h1]

Geheimakte 2: Puritas Cordis ist eine zwiespältige Angelegenheit. Einerseits wurden Dinge verbessert. In die 3D-Charaktermodelle ist sichtliche Mühe eingeflossen und man hat ein größeres Augenmerk auf Codepuzzle und Kooperationssegmente gelegt. Diese waren bereits im Vorgänger vorhanden, bekamen im zweiten Teil aber ein größeres Augenmerk und fördern den Spielspaß. Schön ist weiterhin, dass die Charaktere mehr Persönlichkeit spendiert bekommen haben und nicht mehr ganz so seelenlos wirken, wie im ersten Teil.
Dummerweise nervt die Fortsetzung mit einigen echt üblen Mondlogik-Inventarrätseln und einer arg konstruierten Story, rund um einen machtgeilen Irren und seiner Sektentruppe. Im generellen nervt der Trash-Faktor der Geheimakte-Reihe.
Man jongliert immer noch tollpatschig zwischen Comedy und Dramaturgie. Auf der einen Seite haben wir eine ernsthafte Story in derer viele Personen sterben und konkrete Probleme wie Katastrophen und Sektenwahn angeschnitten werden. Andererseits werden wir jedoch mit flapsigen Sprüchen, halblustigen Anspielungen und absurd-skurrilen Situationen konfrontiert, was es verdammt schwer macht das Abenteuer ernst zu nehmen.

Unterhaltsam sind die Geheimakte-Games dennoch, aber wenn ich darüber nachdenke was für tolle Spiele dabei herauskommen würden, wenn sich die Verantwortlichen etwas ernster nehmen und sich ein tiefsinnigeres Spiel im Stil von „The Longest Journey“ vornehmen würden, könnte ich mir in den Arsch beißen!
Unterm Strich betrachte ich Geheimakte 2: Puritas Cordis als etwas schwächer als seinen Vorgänger. Das liegt auch daran, da 2008 starke Konkurrenz auf den Plan getreten ist. So wurde zum Beispiel das Perry Rhodan-Adventure ein halbes Jahr vor Puritas Cordis veröffentlicht. Und Perry Rhodan wischt mit Ninas und Max' Trash-Abenteuern den Boden auf. Fans von Point & Click-Adventures waren damals also gar nicht mal so sehr auf die Geheimakte-Reihe angewiesen, wie es viele Websites haben weismachen wollen. Spaß machen die Spiele zwar dennoch, aber es gab auch damals schon viele wesentlich bessere Adventures zur Auswahl.

Pro:
- sehr schöne 2,5D-Grafik mit abwechslungsreiche Ortschaften
- die Charaktere haben nun etwas mehr Profil und Persönlichkeit
- gelungene Codepuzzle und Kooperationssegmente
- keine Aliens

Kontra:
- zu viel Mondlogik
- die Handlung ist konstruiert und das Finale wirkt auch hier wieder überhastet
- undurchdachte Einführung von neuen Sidekick-Charakteren (Sam und David)

Here things start really nicely, but around halfway through, when you're searching for cubes game becomes annoying backtracking and even worse, a pixel hunt. I just don't enjoy adventures where you need to hunt those. It just feels really dated. Also the problem solving becomes downright stupid at that point, where logic is mostly thrown out. Definitely play the first one, but skip this one. For 6/10

Secret Files serisinin ikinci oyunu şaşırtıcı şekilde ilk oyundan çok daha iyi. Herhalde Tunguska'daki hatalarını kendileri de anlamışlar ve bu oyunda bunların büyük kısmını düzeltmişler. Nedir bunlar? Tek tek sayalım:

- Akıllara zarar final bölümünü bir kenara koyarsak bulmacaların büyük kısmında bu kez McGayver olayının hakkını vermişler. Elimizde çoğu zaman yeterince ipucu var ve çözümlerde "yuh artık" dediğiniz kısımlar çok daha az. Böylelikle çok daha tatminkar bir oyun tecrübesi ortaya çıkmış.
- Ana karakterleri seslendirenler değişmiş. Nina karakterini küçük bir kız yerine şuh sesli bir kadın seslendirmiş. Aksanların bir kısmı hala yerinde değil ama önceki oyundan çok daha iyi olduğunu söyleyebilirim.
- Farklı karakterlerden bu kez takım çalışması halinde faydalanmışlar. Takım çalışması yapabildiğiniz bulmacalar adventure oyunlarında her zaman bir artıdır.
- Hikayenin ilerleyişi son derece dengeli ve sürükleyici. İlk oyundaki gibi "ne yapıcam şimdi?" diye boş boş dolaştığınız bir an olmuyor.
- İlk oyundaki ırkçı espriler ve ırkçı stereotip karakterler bu oyunda çok az. Önceki oyundaki "ahmak" bir Rus karakteri saymazsak.

Bunlarla beraber oyunun hala bazı zaafları var. Öncelikle hikayeden başlayalım. Tunguska'nın hikayesi güzeldi, oynanabilirliği düşüktü. Bu oyun ise sürükleyici olmasına rağmen inandırıcılığı neredeyse hiç olmayan bir ana olay örgüsüne sahip. Daha doğrusu oyundaki gizli örgüt ve aktiviteleri akıllara zarar verecek derecede fantastik.

Nina hala bir barzo, Max ve Nina arasındaki romantizm de yine inandırıcı değil. Oyunun bir bölümünde ortaya çıkan Sam karakterini (her ne kadar itici olsa da) neden daha fazla kullanmamışlar anlamak zor.

Yine de ufak tefek ayrıntılara takılmamak gerektiğini düşünüyorum. Secret Files: Puritas Cordis Animation Arts'ın bir sonraki oyunu olan çok başarılı Lost Horizon ile zayıf Tunguska arasında bir geçiş köprüsü niteliği taşıyor. Secret Files: Tunguska'yı oynayıp hayal kırıklığına uğradıysanız hala şans verebilirsiniz. Nezdimde 10 üzerinden 7'lik bir Point & Click.

Terrible voice acting, but it didn't make the game unplayable. Still a very fun point and click to play through. My only complaints are [spoiler] while playing as max in the jungle all the puzzles to get the different items to fit into the holes, some of them just didn't make sense to do nor did it make sense some of the hole placements. Voy a romper una lanza en favor a la gente que no le gusta esta segunda parte de la saga.
Por desgracia la historia, pese a no estar mal, peca de ser demasiado típica. Una secta que vaticina el fin del mundo. Nina tiene que hacer algo. Fin.

Que además, vaya saltando entre Nina y Max cuando les venga en gana, me da algo de tirria. Entiendo que cada uno tiene su historia y que tienes que ir avanzando, pero la parte de que puedas rotar entre los dos cuando quieras y hacer sus historias al ritmo, como pasaba en la primera entrega, ya no están. Solo en momentos donde tengas puzles donde necesites a los dos, podrás ir cambiando. Fuera de allí, te aguantas. Eso no me ha gustado. Por no decir que algunos puzles son un poco... ok?

Secret Files: Tunguska era muchísimo mejor, en mi opinión, que esta segunda parte. El doblaje en español ha mejorado "un poco" y hay algunas partes de este juego son divertidas y entretenidas. Es por eso que, si te gustó la primera entrega, haz como yo y juega éste también. Solo por el hecho de jugar de nuevo con Nina y ver sus nuevas aventuras, pero como he dicho al principio, entiendo y defiendo a los que no les ha convencido este juego.

El hecho de que tengas que hacer como siempre, cambiar un archivo para poner voces y texto en español, me da rabia. Pero bueno, es fácil de encontrar.

Secret Files 2. Is a great game and sequel to to SF: Tunguska. Nina and Max are back and a bit older.
They got new voice actors for Max and Nina and honestly it took a bit for me to get used to. The devs also upgraded the graphics.

I've played the game so much I can get through the game in 1h 40m now.

The only downfall is this a continuation of a small part the story from the first game, so it's a whole new story.
But a big part of the main story of Tunguska is picked back up in SF:3.
[spoiler]Like the story of the guys in black cloaks isn't picked up in this game but is continued in SF3.[/spoiler]

Honestly- I highly recommend playing the series mainly the first 2 games.

I SO wanted to like this game. Everything about it screamed ADVENTURE GAME! The graphics are beautiful. The story seemed interesting and there are some parts where you pick-up objects, talk to people and navigate through scene based puzzles, what could be better, right? Well that's what I thought. But that's where it ends. First of all there are limited scenes, so many times you find yourself backtracking and worse yet clicking objects too early which makes you believe you did the wrong thing; yet clicking on that same object a bit later is what's called for. This is beyond frustrating. Then the game has you combine ridiculous items that make no sense, not even within the game itself, telling us that the only one(s) it made sense to, was the game's author(s). There are times when you run around stumped for 5-10-15-20 minutes only to have to consult a walkthrough. There are even times when you did the right thing, but have to exit and re-enter a scene to have any effect! The puzzles try to be clever only to fail miserably. Too bad because this game seemed to have so much potential, but it's just wasted on pointless puzzles without any reward. A good example is in the jungle, the door puzzle's riddle says the EYE looks down on all. Okay so that would be the TOP slot. And the only object with an EYE is the PEACOCK FEATHER. But that's NOT where it goes! Super frustrating. Where the hell is the logic behind that?!! Ridiculous.

首先，经常存档是个好习惯，突然崩溃害得我又打了半个多小时…好在往后没卡死崩溃过。

游戏整体还是英雄拯救世界的故事，从一个傻叉手中解救父亲解救爱人和世界上的一半人口……伟大啊！
谜题还是一如既往的有点点绕(BT!)，还是跟着攻略粗粗通关的，脑洞不够大是解不了谜题的，做完发现又合情合理…………
游戏比上代变化是有的，但是我看不出来（嘻嘻嘻……）
结局给游戏提升了一个有趣幽默的层次，意料之外情理之中！给出场的演员都做了后续介绍和状态，给个大大的赞吧！
最后还是推荐一下这系列游戏吧！接触电脑没几年遇到的优秀解谜作品！补票补情怀！

Spiel Durchgespielt.
Die hohe Spielzeit kam Zustande, weil ich immer mal wieder Leerlauf hatte. Essen gehen und Spiel anlassen z.B. aber auch weil ich bei solchen Spielen jeden Dialog ausreize, egal ob es sich um ein Gespräch oder Item-Beschreibungen handelt. Ich schätze mal bei mir käme ohne die Pausen eine Spielzeit von circa 10 bis 12 Stunden zusammen.

Die wichtigsten Punkte kurz zusammengefasst.
- Durchgeknallte und spannende Story.
- Interessante Charaktere. Sam Peters ist der Hammer! Von Ihr hätte ich gerne mehr.
- Teilweise fordernde Rätsel. Die soweit ich mich erinnere alle logisch waren.
- Vollvertont auf Deutsch, mit bekannten Sprecher, die ihre Sache wirklich überzeugend und hervorragend machen.
- Grafisch alles andere als Aktuell aber in Ordnung. Ein Punkt der mir allerdings eh nicht so wichtig ist.
- Nicht zu lang und nicht zu kurz.

Mehr muss ich eigentlich gar nicht sagen. Ein Point & Click Adventure, welches zwar nicht ganz oben mitspielen kann, wie z.B. Secret of Monkey Island, Baphomets Fluch oder Indiana Jones. Aber dennoch ein Gutes seiner Art. Teil 1 ist ebenso zu empfehlen. Was ich von Teil 3 leider nicht behaupten kann.

This is by all means, a bad game. However, since I like point and click games, and this wasn't so bad on the puzzles-side, I may have given it a pass; but one thing leads me to give it a negative review, and that's the writing. It's just atrocious. If you've played the first game, it wasn't great, but it wasn't that bad, either. Here... oh boy, I truly can't believe how bad it is, all the way through. It's not just a matter of the story being far-fetched (which it is), or the characters being uni-dimensional shells with no personality (which they are), but also the dialog is just... excruciatingly, painfully, cringe-inducing. It's almost indescribable. I was going to quote some of it here, but I can't find the example I was looking for, and won't spend more time on that xD. But yeah, it reminded me a bit of Dora the explorer, when they repeat the same word many times over to make sure children under 6 get what is happening... only this game is supposedly meant for older children (I dare not say for adults, since the writing is so bad I fail to see how any adult could get into the story xD), and has an abundance of objectionable content. The best example of that is sexism, which the other game also had an abundance of (it sort of wants to look like it's "progressive" by having the main character be a girl - although in this one she shares the screen a lot more with that Sam guy - but also says stuff like "red socks with this outfit? Only men could have so little fashion sense", or calls another girl a "bimbo" just because she is angry at her, and many many more comments spread out over the whole game). Yet this one also has a pretty offensive, over-simplified representation of the homeless life, to the point where apparently all that people on the street truly need is for someone to come and tell them "hey you, here's some food, now stop drinking, give me your alcohol, and pull yourself together", and there, all their problems are magically solved. As someone who spent 4 years aiding people on the street as part of a non-profit, I found that to be just wrong, no matter what age-group this game was intended for. In that respect, this game also has a pretty high body-count, which they actually acknowledge on the not-nearly-as-fun-or-creative-as-the-first-one ending credits scenes.
The puzzles are mostly fun, although most of them make zero sense (meaning that you'll have to do completely ridiculous things that wouldn't make the slightest kind of sense in real life, and that comprises almost all puzzles in the game) but hey, that's not unlike many other point and click games. However, do bear in mind that they are way more nonsensical than in the first game.
Also, voice-acting here is pretty awful. I sort of liked the quirky voices on the first one (especially Nina's), but here, they were replaced by barely emotional mono-tonal robots. They all speak with the slightest emulation of any kind of emotional expression possible. It's like they were asked to speak like robots, and then "play it down a notch".

Had I played this one first, I would have definitely skipped the rest of this saga. Since I already got the last two for free (outside of steam), I'll give them a go eventually, but I cannot possibly recommend this one, like, at all.

Just barely a yes. At first, I was so bored/annoyed with the bland characters who all have to talk for a long time could not stand anymore, but then the story got more interesting and it made me want to keep plugging along. Also, I knew I was probably irritable and tired when I first began the game, so I felt like I should try again the next day to see if it drove me as crazy. A lot of me continuing stems from the fact that I have already played Secret Files - Tunguska, and want to find out what the characters do in this one even if it means I have to listen to a lot of idle chatter before I get to do something. So far, Puritas Cordis seems to be both good and bad; I can't quite make up my mind which is more dominant.

I played first one so i want see another great story. And i get nice story, in this Secret files you find some nwe thinks, what make gameplay better, like new style of menu and nice detailed characters and enviroments. Like in title before, we have it here puzzles what you can beat wihout any guide, just you need try everyting in you inventory combine or use it on world items or characters. BUt only one minus of this title is, secret files 1 been like journey, where you se manny diffrent places and take youa round world, here you visit fev places, they are nice made it but sotry of Secret files 2 is nice but too short for me. I recomend you buy it only in sale, if that is possible. But game is fun and you find there manny jokes :) and you met here with some old characters from version one :)
