Lo tengo en Epic, lo tuve que comprar ahí en su momento cuando salió a la venta, lo termine ahí a toda la campaña. Puedo decir que es un buen juego pero no esta a la altura de Salt and Sanctuary, si bien tiene algunas mejoraras como el multiplayer, posee una mecánica repetitiva que son las cacerías de Magos, las primeras veces está bien, ya pasado un rato el juego, empieza a aburrir y eso le quito encuentras memorables con los Bosses, en Salt and Sanctuary eran muchas más que acá y tienen un significado de estar, muchos en Salt and Sacriface esos boses están por estar, lo que importa acá son los magos, que son los boses principales para desbloquear puertas y así poder pasar. (y después te llenas de los mismos magos, genérico 1,2) pudo ser una buena idea. si los magos eran los justos y necesarios y los bosses fueran más y estos últimos sean los que te abrirían el camino para continuar. (cosa que si pasa en algunos pequeños casos)

Es un juego interesante, esta bien, a un buen precio mejor, pero es un poco peor a mi entender que el Salt and Sanctuary, que tiene una construcción del mapeado mucho mejor y la idea del juego la veo mejor que en este titulo.

The levels are not optimised for the various mages, the DPS is way too high, being able to be air-juggled to death is not fun and heavy armour feels like a worthless investment. Also, no proper respeccing, respec one at a time for a limited number; too bad if you specced into heavy armor or a bad weapon :)
Oh, and good luck finding nearly anything, you need to hunt everything to death and then some.

If the difficulty was toned down to less then "die in two hits to a combo you cannot break out of" it's be fine, but right now? Nah, avoid this like the plague. Go play Salt and Sanctuary, that was fun (unless the backported some of these terrible machanics...)

Ska studios попытались сделать нечто интересное, но переборщили с интересом и получилось душно. В сравнение с первой частью, в этой визуал стал лучше, а всё остальное гораздо хуже. Боссы визуально прикольные, но сами по себе ♥♥♥♥♥, локации стали ярче, но слишком сильно они запутаны. Так же Sacriface заимствует слишком много элементов из прошлой части, так что получилась не новая самостоятельная часть, а какой-то спинофф, причём не самый лучший

和好友Jylx联机打完了成就。

盐1在我心目中，是仅次于Hollow Knight的存在。盐2作出了很多大胆的尝试，最显著的是，它实际上是个联机游戏，类型中也是把“在线合作”放在第一位。联机导致游戏难度大大降低，两人一左一右开弓，能对任何怪无限削韧，打大部分boss也是信手拈来。不过怪物都是人均疯狗，明显看出不是单机玩家能够应付的。

很多怪还会击飞玩家。例如好友被击飞到墙下后，费了半天劲爬上来，结果又被击飞下去；或者两人站在悬崖边，忽然被霸王龙从后边双双顶飞下去（这霸王龙的肤色跟背景接近，所以很多时候很难看清它）；或者跑图时，一个不注意被陷阱击飞到遥远的远方...大概因为这些缘故，本作的坠落伤害非常低。

整个联机过程可以说非常欢乐，当然，大量重复的狩猎，也让人有些疲劳。而二代在美术风格和箱庭设计上，都完全不逊于一代，很多小怪的设计也很有感觉。但“狩猎”明显是个失败的设计，除却它对单机玩家不友好外，狩猎完的报酬也不尽人意，个人认为起码应该掉精良的武器和装备，这才足以让玩家获得狩猎成功后的成就感。

二代在其他不少地方也做了尝试，但个人认为同样都是较为失败的，这里就不一一阐述。如果有制作组想做类银河战士恶魔城类型游戏，那么完全可以把二代当做反面教材（很遗憾它落到了这种地步）。

注意：如果想一个周目全成就，需要1--在结局前备份存档；2--两个玩家都需在在结局前备份存档，否则其中一个玩家不会跳成就。

The current "mixed reviews" status breaks my heart. This is a great game. It's a souls metroidvania with chase 'em down hunt mechanic mixed with some stationary bosses as well. It's not the second game of the series to me. It's it's own game. gg.

Also, the crafting of gear and weapons from hunted mages is awesome.

The fall off is real....Jesus. There's a massive diffence between difficulty and cheapness and unfortunatly seems like most devs don't get it...Bosses spawning at your respawn point, random enemies stun locking you. I you have poise in your game it should be a mechanic not a suggestion.

NOT Salt and Sanctuary 2, although seemingly connected one way or another to the first game however not directly.

If you want a gameplay loop similar to Salt 1, then this game is NOT for you.

Salt and Sacrifice's gameplay loop sees you explore, get this game's 'brand' equivalent, hunt all mages in said area, defeat an Area boss (separate from mages) and then move to the next area and repeat. Unlike Salt 1, the game more-or-less forces your hand into a magic-specced build type if you want full efficiency out of your weapons (or variety) as a good chunk (not counting the 'tier 1' starter / normal damage type weapons) scale with one of the two magic stats (basically INT or FAITH). You can stick with your normal weapon as they have decent scaling from what I can tell and there are a few other neutral damage type weapons you can find but for the most part if you want a new weapon you're going to be crafting one from the materials you obtain from slain mages, which incidentally require you to spec into magic to access their full moveset (basically Weapon Arts).

Despite all this I find myself enjoying the game, I'm not really sure what it is about it that's fun though. If you want to try it buy it on sale or watch a video to get a grasp of the gameplay loop better, alternatively you can try playing it for under 2 hours and see if you like it though i'm not 100% the gameplay loop is covered in that time, only about 65%.

Niedliche Grafik, unübersichtliche Darstellung und grauenhafte Kämpfe.

Unsere Aufgabe ist es, Magier zu töten. Das machen wir mit einem selbsterstellten Charakter und reichlich Frustresistenz. Die Grafik ist dabei recht hübsch anzuschauen. Der Charakter ist nett gezeichnet, leider etwas hakelig animiert, die Hintergründe recht stimmungsvoll. Manchmal gibt es Fragezeichen, wenn sich z. B. der Mond mit meiner Blickrichtung mitbewegt. Eine Kleinigkeit, stört aber dennoch etwas. Sound und Musik sind passend. Die Texte können auf Deutsch eingestellt werden, verwundern aber manchmal durch die Übersetzung (ich sage nur Schnurrhaare). Leider scheitert das Spiel am zentralen Gameplay-Element: den Kämpfen. Mein Charakter kommt mir unglaublich träge und behäbig vor, die Steuerung reagiert schwammig und teils ungenau. Die Bossgegner bleiben gerne auf Distanz, was für Nahkämpfer eher so mittel ist. Auch die Grafik kommt da schon mal als Gegner daher, wenn der eigene Charakter weggeschlagen wird und man erst einige Zeit benötigt, um ihn wiederzuentdecken. Dann wartet die Umgebung noch dazu mit recht fiesen Fallen auf, die kaum zu entdecken sind. Auch die einfachen "Fußsoldaten" sind alleine Kanonenfutter, aber schon zu zweit können die einen in die Zange nehmen, aus der man nicht mehr herauskommt. Und was soll eigentlich der Quatsch, dass ich den Bossgegner erst jagen muss? Da laufe ich kreuz und quer durch das Level dem Magier hinterher, kämpfe mit herbeigerufenen Kreaturen und sehe, wie er verschwindet. Also wieder hinterherlaufen, kämpfen usw. Beim ersten Teil hatte ich noch Spaß, der ging mir hier komplett abhanden.

Sat and Sacrifice - це продовження колись популярного 2д соулс лайка Salt and Sanctuary з елементами метроїдванії. Із нового в цій грі - це так звана охота на магів. Максимально душна механіка, що заставляє вас бігати за однотипними мінібосами по усій локації. Скіпнути її не вийде, бо по перше купа дверей на карті зачинена і відкрити їх можна тільки вбивши певну кількість цих магів. А по друге з цих мінібосів та їх міньйонів падають дуже потрібні реси для крафту нової броні, зброї та іншого. Мені взагалі здасться що разраби після того, як побачили що їхня гра проходиться годин так за 10, вирішили що це мало та розтягнули час проходження у 2,5 рази додавши цю залупу. Також у грі немає карти і це ну дуже бісить. З кожним разом бігаючи вже десятий круг по локації туди-сюди у пошуках потрібної двері або нового проходу (метроїдванія жеж) так і хочеться послати разрабів та дропнути гру. Ця гра настільки хоче бути схожою на Темні Душі, що в неї завезли купу онлайн механік, але наразі толку від них нуль бо немає з ким грати. Босів мало і усі вони не цікаві та дуже примітивні. В цілому гра вийшла дуже посереднія, з купою душних або взагалі непотрібних механік. Краще взяти або навіть пепепройти першу частину. Купувати можна, але з дуже великою знижкою і тільки якщо ви пройшли усі інші хороші солси.

Está increíble el juego, muy divertido. Llegan a ser molestos los enemigos de brumardiente cuando salen de la nada con demasiada frecuencia pero sólo eso. El primero sigue siendo mi favorito un 10/10 pero este también me gustó mucho 8.5/10. Mejoraría mucho si se pudiera iniciar otra de las cacerías que ya has descubierto desde algún pilar en el mismo nivel sin tener que regresar constantemente al Valle del Absolutor.

While I haven't finished this game yet, there's a lot more to this game that I can't really get into, so I'll just quickly cover what this game does, what I like, what I dislike, and some oddities I found with this game.

What I like:
The Artstyle: This game is a massive improvement on the first game's graphics, with vastly better animations, and the overall art used in this game has been cleaned up.
The Tools: Like in the first game, you get upgrades that allow you to explore more parts of the map as you get to certain points in the game. In this game, you start out with the Wall Jump ability (previously an unlockable ability), and get items like a Grappling Hook to swing across parts of the level, a gem to activate magic circles to create new paths, and a device to activate Ziplines, which allows the level design to be significantly different from the first game.
The NPCs: NPCs are very simple in this game: After finding and speaking to one, they'll return to the main hub of the game known as Pardoner's Veil. It makes it easier to return to them to buy things from them or just talk with them. Not every NPC returns there, but at least you can find most here.
Regaining Lost Salt: Instead of having to kill a stronger version of the enemy that killed you prior, or killing a stray Salt Bat you might even die at (since in most cases, you likely died from things like falls), in this game, it's more like how Dark Souls does it, with a spot on the ground where you can simply run up to and quickly grab. Much easier, much faster.
No More Covenants (technically): In the first game, one of the more annoying aspects of the game, while original, was the covenants. Each covenant has it's perks, with unique rewards, and items for sale, but because you can only be a part of one covenant at a time, getting items from other covenants was always annoying, since you had to either skip getting the item you want from the covenant, or lose progress for the covenant you were part of. Not to mention, even the healing items were different, with some being straight up worse than the others. All this to say, it's far more simplified in this game. When you find someone who is the leader of the covenant, you automatically get the items associated with the covenant, and can purchase items from the singular representative of the covenant: No more having to worry about if you have enough Stone Merchants or Stone Leaders, or who you're a part of. If you want the armor from one guy and one weapon from another, you absolutely can.
Multiplayer: While I haven't played the multiplayer in this game yet, it's been vastly improved in comparison to the first game. In the first game, it's exclusively shared screen multiplayer, which means the only way to play the game online with a friend is through Steam Remote Play. This game has proper matchmaking features, similar to how Dark Souls does it, with the ability to raid and aid other players. Also if you dislike PvP, don't worry: Even with online play turned on, nobody's online, so you're highly unlikely to have somebody invade. I'm not sure if the game has seemless Co-Op like how the first game did, but it does have a password system for connecting with a friend, so I'm curious how that will work.
Sprinting: You can sprint in this game. With the push of a button, at the start of the game, you can sprint. And you don't have to worry about Stamina usage unless enemies are around. It's really that simple.

What I dislike:
Currency: In the first game, there are two currencies: Gold and Salt. Salt levels you up and Gold is spent on items at your covenants. This game is somewhat like that, with two currencies, Silver (which is otherwise identical to Gold), and Salt, which is still used to level up, but because of how this game is structured, it feels different. First off, many items in the game have the same price, which means they all feel as worthless as each item, and you won't end up buying much more other than Salt Pieces. Not to mention, very few NPCs actually accept Silver (which I'll explain in a moment), and the enemies give such little Salt, the only way to reliably level up is by killing Mages. Yes, killing the main bosses of the game is the only way to reliably and semi quickly level up, which you will need to do.
Repetitive: A majority of this game is fighting the same few Mages over and over again. There are two kinds of Mages: Named and Nameless Mages. Named Mages are needed to progress the game, with 5 being on each stage, and there's usually 10 Nameless Mages on each stage, making 15 Mages you can hunt each stage. The 5 Named Mages open up doors to more areas, the Nameless Mages exist mainly to just get Salt and resources to build weapons and armor. 5 of the Nameless Mages you find in exactly the same way as you do finding Named Mages, meaning sometimes you find progress, sometimes you waste your time, and the other 5 Nameless Mages are found from a book, which just gives you their hunts immediately that you can select from the portal. None of these fights have any difference to where you fight them, barely any variation to who you fight, and no difference in what you get for beating them. This isn't even getting into the random Nameless Mages that just wonder around aimlessly that slow you down while exploring.
The Mage Fights: The Mage fights are very frustrating if you attempt to use any combination of heavy weapons and/or armor. If you use heavy armor or slow weapons, you'll be completely unable to combat them easily, since they attack faster the lower their health gets, and you can't meaningfully tank attacks during their fights. Also, remember those roaming Nameless Mages? Sometimes, the Mage you're hunting stops by one of these roaming Mages and decided to have a dual with him. Now you have to decide to either save your resources and let them duke it out, or save your time and target the Mage you're hunting to get him to leave. Another case of roaming Mages being annoying.
The Covenants: While it is more streamlined from Sanctuary, it still has problems. In order to buy the weapons and items from the covenants, you need to get their covenant specific tokens. How do you get these? By playing the abandoned multiplayer. You're better off either cheating or using mods to get these items (R.I.P. console players).
Heavy Armor: It's not strong enough to tank damage, doesn't have enough poise to keep your attacks from being interrupted, and makes you too slow to dodge. Unless you're using it for drip, just use light armor.

What I Find Odd:
The Levels: While there is more to explore in this game compared to the first one, it's presented in the form of levels. As in, stages you play individually. They're not connected at all, except through the same portal. If you wanna explore level 1, but you need something from level 3, you need to leave level 1, beat level 2, find the thing in level 3, then go back to level 1 so you can continue exploring. I don't know if I'm explaining it well, but it'll make more sense if you play the game or watch gameplay.
Weapon Categories: It was very simple in Sanctuary: Great Hammers are leveled with the Great Hammer skill, Swords are leveled with the Sword skill, and Crossbows are leveled with the Crossbow skill. In this game, it gets confusing: Greataxes are in the Greathammer skill category, Swords have three different categories with Vangards (which is the only way to use shields), Highblades, and Rapiers, and there's three different kinds of thrown weapons (thrown axes, thrown knives, and throwables). This isn't even getting into the 5 different skills that weapons scale with.

While I do enjoy the game, it feels like it's longer than Sanctuary without having more. I have been using the same armor and barely been upgrading it for the past 20hrs, and I haven't felt any significant change in damage taken yet. Maybe just pick this game up during a sale and you should be fine.

First off, we all must realize this is not Salt and Sanctuary 2, it's Salt and Sacrifice, so I'll judge the game on it's own terms, so...

[h2] Souls-like meets Monster Hunter [/h2]
Picture this scenario: you're on a hunt in a MH game and the monster flees from you, so you follow. You marked it with a paintball, or are tracking with your Scoutflies or checking it's position on the map via Cohoot, whatever.
Suddenly you turn a corner and a randomly respawning Bullfango charges at you and takes a solid 1/4th of your HP bar. Not only that, you're pushed into a Slagtoth who for some reason also finds your presence offensive and belly-flops another half of your remaining HP away.
You're almost dead but managed to survive. Annoyed you waste a mega potion to recover and continue with the hunt but WHAM! tripped on a nigh-invisible tripwire and get bushwhacked by some trap which ragdolls you off a cliff.
Again you lucked out and survived, still you're really pissed now, down a couple mega potions and actually manage to track down your target, along the way dodging attacks from Kelbis and Popos who against all logic are aggroed too, but oh no! what's this? Here comes another monster which btw can spawn little minions of it's own and now he wants a piece of both your ass and your target's, too!
And the monster you actually wanted to hunt? Yeah, it can also spawn minions, which he does right before he pisses off again to another part of the map.

Does this sound fun to you?

If not, well now you know why blending genres willy-nilly is not that hot of an idea.

The thing is this game is not that bad, after all I 100% it, but damn if it doesn't suffer from situations like the ones I described. You cannot have a game where the aim is hunting down big, dangerous and resilient baddies who move all across the arena when both the environment you give chase AND it's denizens are as deadly if not even more so than said targets.

Which brings me to the level design itself. The maps just don't feel as well designed as Salt and Sanctuary's since they have little to no signposting to differentiate between areas, making it difficult to familiarize yourself with them and thus being able to recognize the paths you should take, instead you have a "mage sense" which always points you to the general location of the boss you're hunting.

To me they felt as jumbled assortments of platforms with a few designated "fighting arenas" for the mages to stop and fight you, but there was nothing organic about many of them. A throne room here or a big vault there, but on the whole it felt you were just fighting on the street corner or random cave you happen to stumble on the boss.

And on the subject of maps, just include an *actual* map already! A souls-like this might be, but it borrows heavily from the Metroidvania genre, and you know what actually makes those games fun? Having something to help you figure out your position, unexplored areas, yet-unopened doors, etc. i.e. a map.

Like I said it's not all bad, the weapons are pretty fun and the mages are, within the self-imposed limitations of their design, pretty varied and also entertaining to fight. I mention those limitations since they all fit the design category of "big dude". No quick and nimble fighters like the False Jester, no flying caster like The Witch of the Lake, no stationary-but-spammy-target like the Dried King, no interesting gank squads like the Forgotten King and co. There ARE a couple duo fights, but are non-mages and felt pretty underwhelming.
Imagine if you had a Monster Hunter game where there are no Kirins, no Rathians, no Zinogres, no Najaralas or Gore Magalas. Instead all the monsters are variations of Tetsucabra, only this one uses fireballs, that one chains lighting on the floor, the one on the corner is just a really hard-scaled, physical type and yet another who can croak AND cloak! You can now start to imagine the design limitations of the mages here.

Overall, I would only recommend the game to people who really dig souls-likes, and even then with big caveats.

Innovation through combination is all well and good, but don't just try to put bacon on ice cream, you'll just end up with a stomachache.

If you walk into this thinking it's Salt and Sanctuary 2, you're going to have a bad time.

I absolutely hated this game at first. But I gave it another chance and thoroughly enjoyed it. Salt and Sanctuary is way better, but this isn't a terrible game.

It's a good game, but it's definitely worse than Sanctuary. The game loop is a bit repetitive and the bosses are mostly meh (with a couple of exceptions), although some of them in the mid-late game kill you in one or 2 attacks, which is kind of frustrating. One of the cool new aspects of this game is the gear crafting, since every time you slay a mage, you are able to craft new stuff, and it's exciting to unlock new weapons, armors and trinkets every once in a while. The atmosphere and area design is good, but Sanctuary did it better, that's for sure.
If you liked Salt and Sanctuary a lot, you'll most likely enjoy this game. If you found it just decent, you are probably not going to like this one. IMO, worth giving it a try. 6.5/10

I'm not sure why people dislike this sequel so much compared to the first game. The difficulty is probably about the same. There are a handful of difficulty spikes that will feel strange and annoying, but overall feels better balanced than the first game. Mechanics feel slightly less jank. There is still metroid-vania-style exploration into dangerous areas and souls-like build crafting. You still find a handful of special armor and weapons if you explore, and you can back track to previous areas and find new areas. An NPC will give you rumors to help hint at some interesting stuff. Each area is quite large, spanning something that feels on the order of two areas together in the first game. The graphics are smoother than the first game. One big complaint I see in other reviews is that people don't like the gameplay loop of chasing a mage around as it spawns minions - but as it moves about the level, you can rest and regain all your supplies without losing any progress. You can run away. Mobs and even mages will fight each other, so if you don't do something dumb you can mop up the mess with ease. Very frequently you can rest and resupply *right before* the health-bar fight, so sometimes there aren't even runbacks. I can only wonder what the multiplayer mechanics would have been like, since that scene appears to be dead. Overall, I've enjoyed the game so far. If you like the first game, I think you'll probably like this one if you keep an open mind. I'll update this review if my attitude changes by the time I finish it.

i like this game, but i understand the disappointment with the overall game by some folks, because this is a sequel to the salt and sanctuary game.

its practically worth understanding this is is very different game compare to the sanctuary, the whole gameplay is very different. where in the original was very much your metroidvania game that gives out route to different bosses and abilities to access new areas in a different order. this game isn't that as it is more in line with something similar to monster hunter. there is bosses for sure, but its not as interesting as the bosses in the sanctuary, the mages are cool albeit repetitive.

the mages falls into a similar blueprint as in they have a similar design to each other whether it be minions or moves. most mages usually consist of 3 type of minions which is small, mid, and big. this is the same for most of the mages which could result in a repetitive gameplay where you need to deal the mobs first then the mages.

the mages moveset could be describe as limited, as many of them usually have some attack in a form aoe, or anything that restrict your movement which result in you needing to block or dodge consistently. they're attack is a bit fast or spammy felt, which is a shame i like the design of the mages. they're cool and interesting, its just the fight left a lot to desire. there is also the issue with mages cant be killed if they are not in their areas, but the boss can be stuck in between which result in them having a higher health than usual.

It's practically weird cause the tutorial boss, the one you die to. Has a better moveset because all of them are telegraph with enough time for you to react, and doesn't require you to block. I don't know what happen to this game to have such a large amount of bosses but doesn't have much enjoyment compare to the tutorial. So whoever design that goat boss is the goat and the devs should practically follow that philosophy of boss design.

the whole gameplay cannot be approach in a souls like fashion where you dodge everything, but rather blocking enemies attack combine doing the ranged attack that you can do when the boss do their aoes. its pretty different combat compare to sanctuary, so if you are expecting the same combat then unfortunately its a no.

one thing i did found it funny was the multiplayer aspect, as in pvp. very ambitious to have it. unfortunately its dead and you cant grind the tokens for the faction at a fair time cause the rate you get from dailies just take way too long. 50 token for a single equipment is a bit insane.

the maps are great though, there is a lot backtracking and secrets so i didnt have any major gripes with it, though there are some frustration with traps being there as it result the chasing of mages becomes more annoying.

The weapons are awesome, definitely the highlight for me. As most weapons got their runic arcs which can spice up the gameplay, though most playthrough you would play 1 or 2 weapon type.

i would recommend this game under the expectation that coming to this game as its own thing rather as a sequel that is intended by the devs. That with also buying this game under steam sale

The biggest shift from its predecessor is the Mage Hunts. Instead of just exploring a big, interconnected world and finding bosses at the end of hallways, you’re now hunting down elemental Mages. You track them across the map, they teleport around, summon annoying minions, and you have to finish them off before the final showdown, which I particularly enjoyed, although it can be a little repetitive.
The coop is decent but lacks enough players and that is a shame, because I had tons of fun with it.

Aquí, encarnas a un Cazador de Brujas (o Brujo) en un reino plagado de herejías, monstros grotescos y trampas mortales.

⚔️ El combate es tenso y técnico: cada arma tiene peso, cada esquiva cuenta y cada enemigo requiere atención. La variedad de builds posibles (fuerza, destreza, magia, híbridos) amplía enormemente las formas de abordar encuentros y jefes.

Sendo sincero, este jogo não traz a mesma jogabilidade que Salt and Sanctuary; porém, aqui você pode ser um cachaceiro e sair por aí surrando magos. Caso já tenha jogado o primeiro jogo, você provavelmente já estará familiarizado em apanhar até aprender a movimentação dos chefes. E, claro, você sempre tem a opção de desferir um cruzado de esquerda no monitor se, por acaso, demorar muito para aprender a lutar.

10/10 atingiria o monitor com outro cruzado de esquerda sem pensar duas vezes.

Chasing the bosses is a little annoying for farming but overall really enjoying the game. Probably wouldn't rate it as high as the first one. But still worth playing when on discount.

No entiendo este juego, intenta ser 50 cosas a la vez y falla estrepitosamente en todas ellas. Es repetitivo, tedioso, torpe y por algún motivo se siente peor que en el Sanctuary. Vayamos por partes.

-Bosses: Creo que de las peores cosas, sino la peor. No entiendo la gracia de pelearte 20 veces con el mismo tío y aun después de eso, ir buscandolo por todo el mapa, siendo este vertical y vertiginoso. Horrible. Ya no hablemos de cuando se cuelan 2 magos a la vez. Buena suerte.

-Enemigos: De nuevo, de lo peor. Hasta el minion mas pequeño es capaz de mandarte a Cancún de un macoco. Da igual la armadura y poise que tengas. Las peleas se sienten como un partido de tenis, donde tu eres la pelota y los mobs están jugando la final de Wimbledon. Genuinamente insoportable.

-Mapas: No están mal, pero la primera entrega tenía mas personalidad. Demasiado vertical y engatusado. Se me hicieron repetitivos e incluso como querer volver a incorporar los de la primera entrega, pero peores.

-Gameloop: Mata y farmea a los mismos tios, una y otra vez. Y cuando crees que es suficiente, vence a algun jefe de zona, consigue una habilidad y pasa a la siguiente. Honestamente, no sé a quién se le ocurrió esta idea. Pero la verdad que fue un fallo como una casa y el motivo por el que mucha gente ha tirado el juego. Se sabe que los soulslike/metroidvania están muy quemados. Pero hubiera preferido eso, en lugar a lo que sea el juego este sin sentido.

En definitiva, lo pille de rebajas y aún así me llevé un chasco enorme. Y lo esperé con ganas cuando se anuncio ya que la precuela me flipó. Deberia haberse quedado en la Epic Games Store xD

Sentimientos muy encontrados con Salt and Sacrifice, y me duele tener que marcar esta reseña como negativa porque el juego no es malo. El mayor problema que tiene es que es el sucesor de Salt and Sanctuary, un juego por el que pagué 5 euros y habría pagado 60 tranquilamente.

El juego no es que sea malo, pero ha adpotado un estilo que creo que no le conviene para nada, en el primer juego el mapa y la exploración estaban muy bien logrados, y en este el juego es literalmente un Monster Hunter, que no está mal, pero si hubieran sacado literalmente un juego como el anterior con el mismo gameplay, alguna cosa más y un mapa nuevo, lo hubiera preferido 100 veces más.

El gameplay loop nuevo es "meh", cazar magos, los sigues un rato por el mapa y cuando los acorralas los matas para pillar materiales y hacer armas más fuertes para cazar más magos, no tiene mucho más, está ok.

Preferiría darle a esta reseña un voto neutro más que negativo, porque lo acabaré jugando más y seguramente me lo pase, pero es que Salt and Sanctuary capturó a una audiencia que esperaba con ansias más y mejor, y dicen que a veces la cosa es innovarse o morir... y tristemente Salt and Sacrifice innovó y se murió.

I really enjoyed Salt and Sanctuary, but unfortunately the second game has potential, but hides it behind the Mage Hunt system. Do you enjoy running after enemies that constantly flee from you? Traversing the same level about ten times up and down to farm materials to upgrade your weapon once?
I didn't. If you do, then this game is for you. Unfortunately, it isn't for me.

I was a little worried about getting the game due to the bad press, holding it off for a long time. However it turned out to not be nearly as bad as people made it out to be. It has it's fair share of problems, however, it's still a great game. My biggest nitpick being the amount of deaths that are going to feel brutally unfair, but in exchange they don't punish death all that much. I do also like the lore added for the most part, however only a couple things really feel like they pertain to the first game, meaning that you could play this game as your first and still get the full experience... But those couple things raise questions for the lore of the first game as well. Hopefully if we get a third entry one day into the Salt universe, it ties back into these two games more heavily.

A pretty good online co-op game. The difficulty wasn’t high for my friend and me—almost every boss went down on the first attempt, and even the hardest one took no more than three tries. Playing the whole way through in co-op, we never had to farm materials, by the end only our weapons were reasonably leveled, while armor stayed at rank one or two.
What really grated was the constant chase, like in Monster Hunter, you pursue a boss across multiple zones, and along the way you’ll see it brawling with other bosses—feels familiar, right?
Overall, I’d recommend it if you’ve got friend who enjoy Soulslike and 2D platforming.

1、之前在HB买的类魂游戏组合包，其中1个游戏。现在2.0版本和网络上的视频里不太一样，大概是改了很多内容。总体来说还算不错的类魂游戏，1周目难度也不高(多周目没玩)。
2、画面比1代好一些。
3、音乐一般。
4、战斗系统基本上在1代的基础上进一步加强，手感很不错。
5、装备系统和天赋加点系统相互配合更好了，就是有些不太平衡，敏系轻甲太脆弱，力系重甲容易得多。
6、地图设计挺有特色，结合了类魂探索和怪物猎人世界的追踪boss。唯一问题就是主角容易被各种击飞摔死。不想太肝可以打法师掉落率mod。
7、有联机系统，但是游戏出几年了，找不到人联机，可以打银币购买派系装备mod。
8、总的来说，还是推荐喜欢类魂游戏的人玩玩。
