Basic VN, no nudity. Story is nothing to ring home about, there's no meaningful decisions to be made. Maybe this genre isn't for me, but I can't see the point in playing something like this. Alas, I liked the music and artwork, so I can't diss this game as it might just be me not liking the genre. Read other reviews from VN enjoyers to know if it's a worthy purchase.

Дві неко, які виступають містком між нашим світом та світом духів, стають об'єктами симпатії головного героя - ну воно і зрозуміло. Особисто мені з першого погляду сподобалась Амая з її тихим, спокійним характером... Загалом, просто грайте, я це пишу в кожній рецензії до новел цієї серїї :)

Yes I know ya'll are getting this to goon, but come on. Have a tiny bit of higher standards than a visual novel that barely has anything worthy of gooning over and characters about as interesting as a piece of cardboard. They couldn't even be bothered to draw any of the other characters that weren't the 2 girls. Makes scenes where you talk to anyone else so hard to get through cause you're just looking at an empty room.
A rather cute VN, sadly no patch for the game but it's still a short, cute read to go through all three routes and collect the CG.

Почему-то всегда, когда сюжет у “Сакуры” уходит с игры, вслед за ним отправляется и контент 18+. Сюжет тут скучный, и я несколько раз чуть не заснул… Диалоги также написаны уныло, и в игре сотни лишних диалогов. Вслед за всем этим куда-то скатилось и качество рисовки… А из-за того, что стиль рисовки изменился, даже эччи-контент стал хуже.
Помимо всего этого, в игре отсутствуют достижения! А это значит, что идеальной игры в Steam не получить! Ну хорошо, что хоть карточки есть, уже хоть какой-то плюс. Также в игре нет русского языка, и для понимания происходящего вам понадобится базовое знание английского. Можно спокойно сказать, что эту новеллу сделали “на быструю руку”.

The artwork was good (no H scenes), but I would have liked more. The ending was OK, but it took forever to get there. The story was way too wordy and not interesting. Not much happened and it seemed to drag on forever.

Очень интересный визуальный роман с несколькими концовками (3 варианта) и очень приятной художественной работой как над фоном CG, так и над самими персонажами Kayo и Nayoko, цена, возможно, немного завышена, так как вы получите всего около 5-8 часов игрового времени, если попытаетесь достичь всех концовок, но это определенно достойный выбор вверх, если вы поклонник игр Sakura.

Sakura Shrine Girls is probably one of the biggest offenders in Sakura catalogue. Story is painfully generic and boring (so is the protagonist and his two love interests). There are some choices that will lead to three different endings, but these endings are as dull as everything else.
Great art and solid audio are not enough to recommend this game. There's no 18+ patch either, if you're here for that.

Sakura Shrine Girls was the nineth of a series of [strike]regrettable[/strike] adult VN released here on Steam. You play as GenericProtagonist#1 a proud atheist who finds himself involved with spirits from other world. Oh, OF COURSE that these powerful spirits take the form of young women with large breasts, cat ears and tail.
There are a quite a few choices and three endings, but the characters are your standard cookie-cuter boring ones. Ecchi scripts are always dumb and predictable, over-the-top, absurd, but this one here really set a new level for a bad script. I've played other things by this specific author and this is yet his worst work.
Linux port is perfect (Renpy), no achievements but there are cards. There are 29 CGs of good quality but no H-patch. If you're really desperate, download the CGs from somewhere else, this VN is not worth your money/time/attention.

Okay do i recommend this game yes, however like I said in another review, I got this game in a bundle from Humble Bundle (which the money went to charity soooo win win). Stating this I recommend obtaining this game in a bundle if possible best for your buck.
The story itself is nice and cute with a pretty nice gallery if you get what i mean B). My biggest con was that "FPS stutters constantly" which was what Basilicious (another reviewer) said and I agree with.
Give it a try none the less and meet Kayo and Nayoko :).

Think I might actually give this one a thumbs up, oh it still has the usual issues of not enough artwork to actually reflect the context of the scene but it has a decent amount of choices, which while as usual not really effecting the story just determining which of the three endings you receive. But the story it’s self, was actually interesting, perhaps I’m biased, as the last one I played, I found so boring story wise, that anything is better and with this one, I took my time playing, as in lengthy (ish) gaps between playing, which is why I was actually surprised that when I had finished, steam showed me, that is actually one of the shorter games in the series, perhaps that also helps, finishes before gets boring, though in this case, the ending did seem abit sudden, especially with what the story was about, it would of be nice if something….. weird…. (without giving away spoilers, lol) actually happened but whatever.
In this case, its getting one of the rare thumbs up for this series but still, don’t buy this full price.
Oh, and no official adult patch for this game, nearly forgot to mention.

Honestly really shallow and boring story. The art is solid, but that's to be expected. It is a sakura game after all.

⛩️ The quality isn't bad, the backgrounds are beautiful, but why is the "novel" part is SO unremarkable? Two ghost cat ladies-guardians try to jump on MC. Don't expect any plot development or connection of events. The game will be over before you realize it. Don't know how mysticism can be made so superficially boring. There is not even the slightest depth in anything curious.

This one rates pretty low on the boobometer, that's for sure. But the story is decent, despite having me wonder why the main characters Dad isn't involved with any of it, and the ending isn't as grand as one might hope, but then again, none of these Sakura games really do have completely satisfying story. At least the characters are likeable.

In this game you act as young Toru, a prospective priest who recently moved to his grandfather’s house. The biggest surprise in Tory’s new life is two cat girls, Kayo and Nayoko, the spirits of local shrines.
Just like other Sakura games, your choices might lead the story to a different direction but there’re only good endings of every character.
It’s relaxing to pet the cat girls and date with them.

En Humble, por 1€ el paquete de 5 juegos.
No tenía ninguna esperanza, más que extraer los cromos de estos juegos.
No obstante, hoy me ha dado por probarlo, para la posterior desinstalación.
Y me encuentro con texto, texto, y más texto, sin apenas interaciones, que para mayor inri, está sin traducir; con lo que uno no se entera ni de qué demonios está hablando esta gente.
Otro que no tiene ni logros. Completa pérdida de tiempo el ejecutar "esto". Se trata de un insulto a la industria que existan títulos como este.
Продают одну и туже ленивую рисовку, штампуя игру за игрой. Хотя... Несмотря на удешевление производства с теми же задниками, а особенно заметно это в последующих играх, серия Sakura - не столько игры сколько адекватно сделанное слайд - шоу. После того как наглядитесь на игры подобные Furry Love, игры из линейки Sakura при сравнении заочно получают плюсик к карме... На халяву, ради значков с фонами уж точно сойдёт и удалить игру навсегда с аккаунта не тянет.
Однако, узнал что разраб жмотит 18+ контент, это дополнительный минус ему в копилку. Ну хоть в районе 15 рублей или даже меньше обошёлся этот набор картинок.

Pretty cute story but short. The artwork is nice and there are some cute scenes but not worth full price. Wait till it's on sale or bundled.
As a consolation, you can tell yourself that you're not as lame as the MC.

Tenía estos cinco Sakuras presentes en mi biblioteca de un bundle, los jugué a todos!! y este es el último y al que ya llegué cansado. El problema con estos juegos es que repiten una sola formula, una novela visual hecha lo más rápido y sin esfuerzo posible para ganar dinero fácil. Estos tipos ya lanzaron como 30 de estos juegos y siguen!! La historia es igual que siempre, un chabón común y corriente que recibe la inesperada llegada de dos minitas mágicas que se pelean por su amor. Todo contado de forma muy básica y cliche. Las historias son tan sencillas que usan mucho rodeo innecesario en los dialogos para estirar un poco la duración (te lo pasas facil en 2-3 horas). Prácticamente no hay gráficos de personajes y lo único rescatable son las ilustraciones a pantalla completa de las minitas sexys que están muy bien hechas así que bien por el ilustrador. Son juegos hechos sin pasión ni esfuerzo y se nota demasiado.

Uma visual novel bem desenhada como outras da série de jogo mas neste só tem imagens Ecchi, tanto que nem tem patch para este jogo. E aqui não vai ter conquistas nem cartas como em outros jogos da série.

Just as stupid as any romance comedies your girlfriend watches. (I imagine most of you dont have girlfriends anyway). So she would be a big hypocrite if she doesnt like you playing Sakura games, this one doesnt have any nudity, just a love story about spirits and cats.
