Good Stuff
Someone who didn't play PopCap games growing up would most likely see this as a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mobile game with an amusing Chinese theme that probably wouldn't fly today. I guess most of us are here for nostalgia. But even today, it's a fun little game to pass some time. It's nice that it offers three different game modes, so each player can play their style.

[h3][b][u]Short Answer:[/u][/b][/h3] A true PopCap classic that I spent a ton of time on growing up. Though far from their most popular title, it's just as easy to pick up, fun to play, and insanely addicting as the rest of their early-2000s catalog. Sadly, as of writing this, it's no longer available for purchase over Steam, so you'd have to find another place to pick it up if you want to try it out.
[h3][b][u]Long Answer:[/u][/b][/h3] [i]Rocket Mania Deluxe[/i] is an arcade puzzle game about connecting the fuses between matches and fireworks to light up the night sky. It plays the same way as those old pipe connecting games, where you need to rotate fuse tiles to make an unbroken line from one side of the board to the other. In classic arcade fashion, your only goal is to rack up as many points as possible before you can't keep up anymore, with certain point thresholds providing you with an arbitrary rank alongside a unique graphic to go along with it. There are three different game modes available, each with their own high score board:

[*]Classic mode is a race against the clock, where you need to launch a set number of fireworks before the timer runs out to win each level. You can string together combos by connecting multiple rockets with one fuse, which provides coins that can be used to upgrade rockets and increase their point value.
[*]Arcade mode starts you out with just a few fuse tiles in the lower rows while drip-feeding more from the top of the screen, and beating each level requires you to launch a set number of fireworks before any one of your columns fills up to the top.
[*]Strategy mode is the most unique, doing away with both the coins and the level system. You start with a limited number of matches, and you need to rearrange the board to launch as many rockets as possible with your limited supply. Combos are critical as they now provide extra fuses that can prolong your run, but they'll disappear if you don't collect them within three turns.

This game launched smack-dab in the middle of developer PopCap Games's golden era alongside the likes of [i]Bejeweled[/i] and [i]Zuma[/i], so it should come as no surprise when I say that, just like those titles, [b][i]Rocket Mania Deluxe[/i] nails the formula for a fun, accessible, and addicting game[/b]. It uses a simple concept that's easy to learn but harder to master, clear-cut instructions every time a new mechanic is introduced, and a steady difficulty curve that feels just right. Steam says I only have a couple hours played as of writing, but that's because the bulk of my time spent on it over the years was from before it even came to Steam. Classic was my go-to mode for the longest time, but as of late I've found the slower pace of Strategy to be more my speed. Either way, it's just as fun as it was to me back then, and I'm glad I was able to take the trip down memory lane.
Unfortunately, when I sat down to write this review, I discovered that Steam no longer sells this game, and I have no idea why. Steam was the last storefront I know of that had it available for purchase, so now [b]there's no way to (legally) acquire it anymore, and that's a damn shame[/b]. I was fortunate enough to have bought it before it went down, hence why I'm still able to download and play it; but I really hope it doesn't become another game that's lost to digital storefronts for good. [b][u][i]Rocket Mania Deluxe[/i] may not have been as popular as some of PopCap's other old-school titles, but it still holds the same high quality you'd expect from that era; and if you manage to find an old copy lying around somewhere, I highly suggest you dust it off and give it a go.[/u][/b]

Ретро-убивалка времени из детства. По типу игр про водопроводчика, где нужно правильно поворачивать трубы, чтобы получить результат. Уровней и сюжета здесь нет - просто на количество очков игра.

Along with Plants Vs. Zombies, easily one of my favorite games from the "classic" Popcap era. Shame they really aren't any more ... although Octageddon was great fun! Something about a simple game that just keeps you returning to it. Refined gameplay and FUN!

This is a classic and I'm sad it's no longer available for purchase because now y'all can't discover it. It's just a fan, casual game to play to kill time and relax.
This game will make everything you see look like fuses that need arranging.

Good little game to play short sessions. It's easy to pick up but takes some skill to reach the higher scores and levels. I played a lot the web version on popcap games, years and years ago, but the deluxe version does nicely stratch the same itch, better graphics and faster loads and still the same ole' good gameplay.
I love this addictive, fast-paced game. It's very simple, just fit the pipes together so that the energy balls can travel through them, but it gets harder with every level. Great for those times when I don't want to play a complicated game, I just want something simple but still challenging.
Fun time waster game in which you connect lines to launch rockets off. Try to launch eight at once. It's a fast and fun game to have.
Good old stand-by game.

ONE OF THE BEST GAMES EVER! I'VE BEEN PLAYING FOR YEEEAAARRRS.
I played this game when I was in my keyboarding class back in Jr. High and it was the most fun I had out of all the Popcap flash games. It is simple to play and easy to master the basics once you know the tricks to get multi-rockets. This is great for younger kids and is still a staple of mine when I just want to play something simple for the day.

Very entertaining. Simple, but always different. Line up the best and most paths to the rockets. Different modes of play, also different levels (easier to harder).

Just fun little game. Not a whole lot to it. Simple in concept, satisfying in execution. However, I wouldn't buy this game unless its on sale.

Wundersame Weise funktioniert das Spiel bei mir jetzt, ob es ein Update gab, kann ich nicht erkennen. Hauptsache es läuft wieder und es macht so viel Spaß wie früher. Es gibt verschiedene Spielmodi und Schwierigkeitsgrade - da sollte also jeder mit zu recht kommen. Grafisches Feuerwerk ist es aufgrund seines Alters nicht - das ist aber auch so ein Spiel, was man zur Zwischendurchbeschäftigung zocken kann.
Da es jetzt funktioniert: Klare Kaufempfehlung
(Ich kann natürlich jetzt nich sagen, ob es nach Kauf bei euch funktioniert - daher Kauf auf eigenes Risiko) :-)
Altes Review:
Früher hatte das Spiel mal einen richtigen Suchtfaktor - es hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht. Leider scheint es auf neueren PCs nicht mehr zu funktionieren, sobald man das Spiel startet, bleibt der Bildschirm schwarz. Ich habe nach einer Lösung gesucht - tja und keine gefunden.
Deshalb empfehle ich zur Zeit keinen Kauf. :(

i dont really like this game. it basically is a pipe game but instead of water it uses rockets.i have never got along with it and since the last time i tried it was a while ago i thought i would review it now since it shows i have not played this game in a while and for the length of time i have owned this game the amount of time played id very short.

疯狂火箭，是一款由宝开出品的休闲小游戏，玩家通过旋转图内的管道，将火焰与火箭相连接，被点燃的火箭嗖的一声飞上天空并炸开，某种意义上来说也算是消除游戏了。很考验手速和眼力，玩家的终极目标是打出越来越高的分数。
游戏共3种模式：经典、街机、策略。
经典模式：每关有一定数量的火箭需要点燃，全部点燃则关卡结束。
街机模式：管道以类似于俄罗斯方块的模式缓缓下落，玩家需要迅速消除以争取更多时间。
策略模式：玩家需要在规定的步数内完成关卡，若火柴提前用完则游戏失败，因此需要预先考虑好下几步行动。
宝开的休闲小游戏一向都很有创意和想法，本作也不例外，闲暇之余来点燃火箭，放松一下心情，还是不错的。
So glad they brought this classic to Steam!! I've already spent over two hours playing it. Such sweet memories. I'll be buying it for my mom soon, as this was her favorite PopCap game (besides Luxor of course).

Who doesn't love fireworks? In fact, who doesn't love being the one who sets them off? Fireworks have always fascinated me, and I certainly do love the concept ol Rocket Maina. Popcap games KNOWS haw to make simple pick-up-and-play games that you can play for a few minutes at a time, and have a lot of fun with when you have some spare time. I really don't need to say anything more.
It's Rocket Mania. It's a fireworks game. Instant winner in my book, and a very high recommendation.

I use to spend hours playing this as a kid, almost to an obsessive level. The skill is so etched to my memory that after almost a decade of not playing this, I actually improved my score.
It may look simple, but I can guarantee that most current gamers will still struggle to get their rockets to Lv 10

Pretty addictive and challenging, your reflexes will really be put to the test as you figure out how to chain rockets together for those massive combos.

Childhood game you can play for hours still is good even as an adult! 8/10 overall rating. Very short game in general its like a mini-game with a highscore thing built in where you just play more and more just to get an affinity of points.

It didn't work when I dl windows 10. Went in setting and changed the display to 125% and now it works. Hope this helps others. Simple but fun game.

제가 고등학교 졸업할때쯤(2004년) 플래시게임으로 팝캡 홈페이지 가면 할 수 있어서 엄청 빠져있었어요.
ㅎㅎㅎ 재밌습니다. 도전과제 지원 안하는게 아쉽지만 ㅠㅠㅠ

All Pop Cap's games are just perfect. Easy to learn, "plug & play" but, with increasing difficulty and clear instructions before every new thing to learn. Intense rythm, you are always clicking the mouse, no time to rest. Original, they can be based on anything else but they do their own way and with outstanding imagination. The right difficulty at the right time, to maintain the interest. Variated play modes. Ridiculous simple controls, usually just the mouse and their two buttons, some times the arrows pad is also neeced but, that's all. Very good music and sound effects....
Well, if you already played Zuma, you know what I mean but, they have other interesting titles and this is one of them.
Highly recommeded for casual tmes, when you are in a hurry and want to play just a bit or, for that "in between big games" time.

Rocket Mania Deluxe is a game I first discovered on Yahoo! back when I spent more time on the computer than I did in the real world.
Times have changed....a little.
Anyway, this is a fun puzzle game that will deliver hours and hours of endless entertainment while your relationships and possessions dissolve around you as you lose track of time and neglect life, responsibility, and those dearest to you.
