The idea is good but the execution is terrible. It's just not fun whatsoever, and that's compounded by the terrible graphics and poor controls. It's locked to a 4:3 aspect ratio with no way to change the resolution as there's no options menu whatsoever. It solely exists to farm trading cards, seeing as it's included in a bundle called 'Trading Cards Mega Discount Bundle'.
Despite playing This Game, my personal struggles with self-esteem, social isolation, and depression remain unresolved. While the game may be enjoyable, it has not addressed the underlying issues I continue to face in my life.
I had a small wee wee, no friends, no girlfriend, depression and absolutely no will to live. None of these things have changed, but the game is pretty good.

When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing.
Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side.
With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay.
After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like.
Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends.
Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together.
Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that.

Если вы прыгаете противнику, который выглядит как цифра, на голову, то он плюсует вам счёт, а если в него выстрелить, то минусует. Таким образом нужно просчитать правильную последовательность действий, чтобы дверь с уровня открылась. Вот и думаете кого как убить, а кого и вовсе проигнорировать. И это только уровни со сложением и вычитанием, позже будут и другие математические действия, а числа уровня увеличиваться.
В общем, игра довольно интересный платформер, с элементом головоломки. Подобной игровой механики я ещё не встречал. Внимания своего стоит. Правда платформинг немного топорный, но к нему привыкаешь.

"Riot of the numbers" is a pretty basic copy + paste game from a known asset flip scammer. The "developer" stole a basic platformer template made using Adobe Flash (!!!!), copying + pasting and arranging premade assets, filling out the template so they could pretend they're an actual game developer.
Mihai Morosanu have a known history of trying to scam people into paying them money for someone else's work, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. An example of Mihai Morosanu doing this is [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/875550]Vogue, The Explorer[/url], which is really "[url=https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/templates/tutorials/3d-game-kit-115747]3D Game Kit[/url]", written by the actual developers, Unity Technologies. Also, [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/679740]Totally Mayhem[/url], which is really "[url=https://forum.unity.com/threads/released-full-game-kit-hammer-2.353481/]Full Game Kit - Hammer 2[/url]", developed by XForm Games.
Mihai has also been caught directly stealing game assets from published games and using them in his own games, without permission, for profit, so we can add copyright infringement to the list of crimes here. What does this have to do with this particular game? Well, it should be no surpise that yet another game from this asset flipper has no real quality that PC gamers might be interested in.
The only notable thing about this platformer ripoff is that it features some arithmetic as part of the gameplay, but I wouldn't be surprised if Morosanu stole that from someone else, too.
Let's say you decide to take this garbage seriously after all those warnings. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.
A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result.
There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision.
The game only displays in 4:3 pillarboxed aspect ratio. It's possible they developed this using an old CRT they found in a dumpster, or this game has been specifically designed for people gaming on PC's from 1995... either way, this isn't really acceptable in the modern era of PC gaming.
The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts.
Comically, the game was written in Adobe Flash/AIR (I'm not making this up). Talk about not using the right tools for the job. Might as well try to bake a cake with a screwdriver. The extremely poor choice of game engine here is a major contributing factor to the defects with the game.
These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.
Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this game was with players reveals a surprise... there's a very healthy spike in player counts for the game. But this only appears around the same time that trading cards were applied to the game... so this is just card idlers getting their cards and moving on. A closer look at the numbers shows the game just has a couple of players every week running up the game and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with no merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards.
"Riot of the numbers" is relatively cheap at $1 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend.
I'm kinda sceptic for this one. The game itself is just as bad as it looks but the concept would be pretty cool for a kid. There is of course no story lines, but the intro of the game is brilliant. Graphically speaking, it looks like a game from the 90s. You would only buy the game if you want the trading cards, nothing else. Only purchase while on sale.

The idea is surprisingly good and could work as additional education material. But the execution is terrible due to combination of stupid control (especially during walk/double jump), unappealing visual and some difficult level. SteamOS/Linux version also suffer 2 bugs.

Un joc slab , cel mai probabil omul care l a facut a stat ceva genul o saptmana pe el ca sa l faca .E un joc legat de matematica , numere si lucruri de genul .Nu mi a placut l am cumparat pentru ca mai trebuia ina 0,10$ sau ceva de genul ca deblochez lucrurile de la 5$ .E o pierdere de timp .

I thought I could practice my math skills with this one. The controls are not good. The jumps need to be perfect or you cant reach. It has a weird double almost triple jump if you touch a wall but the wall jump only works half the time. It plays more like a bad hardcore platform game rather than a math puzzle game.

创意上不错，但操作真TM蛋疼，控制太累了，尤其那啥蹬墙跳跃，为啥我按着往前的按键，你偏要给我往后面弹出去

Hey, I received this as part of a bundle for the equivalent of 30 cents, so I feel I received my money's worth, and then some.
This is a classic-styled platformer game, with the added wrinkle of simple math problems to increase your score. There are classic enemies in the shape of various digits, and a "level number" that must be changed to 0 to earn the score bonus. Of course you can just go to the exit doors and continue the game, but to match the level number you jump on an enemy to add its number to the level number, or shoot it with a minus to reduce the level number by that amount. I think it's pretty clever, and it adds puzzle elements to what would otherwise be a typical platformer game (again, still likely worth the 30 cents I bought it with).
I do have a sneaking suspicion that the background music is originally from an 8-bit NES game from back in the day. I can't recall which, but the feeling won't go away. Some people would be upset by this, but I feel it adds to the game's charm.

숫자 계산 + 슈팅 + 컨트롤.
상당히 이것저것 조합된 게임입니다.
서로 다른 요소들이 뭉쳐지면 은근한 새로운 재미를 주지만...
이 게임은 재미보다는 불편함이 더 부각됩니다.
플레이어는 제로를 조종합니다. 하지만 내부에는 특정 수치를 가지고 있지.
기본적으로 좌우 이동과 점프가 가능하며 2가지 슈팅 무기가 있습니다.
상대는 밟으면 수치가 +되고, 1번 무기를 쓰면 -, 2번 무기는 획득해야 사용가능하며 나누기 기능을 하죠.
이를 이용해서 맵에 있는 다른 숫자들을 처치하여 자신을 0으로 만들어야합니다.
초반과 후반에만.
솔직히.... 상당히 난해합니다.
숫자 계산을 할거면 숫자 계산만 하게 하면 될 것을 딱히 필요없는 컨트롤 능력을 요구합니다.
벽점프 기능을 이용해서 위로 이동하거나, 무너지는 발판, 닿으면 사망하는 가시, 중력 전환, 공격하는 숫자 등
굳이 이렇게 짜증나는 형태로 컨트롤이 필요하게 제작해야 했는가 라는 의문이 듭니다.
아, 참고로 속도도 일정하지 않습니다.
중간에 갑자기 이상한 괴물이 등장해서 도망쳐야하고,
가시들 점프해서 피하고, 벽점프로 장애물 넘어가고,
갑자기 중력 전화되서 같은 구간을 반복하고, 이상한 녀석들은 공격하고.
그리고 갑자기 1이 등장하더니 둘을 동시에 조작해야합니다.
이때는 숫자 계산없이, 그냥 컨트롤 게임입니다.
둘을 동시에 움직이면서 목표 지역으로 이동시키죠.
스테이지의 수도 꽤나 짧습니다.
20개의 스테이지 빠르면 30여분 이내 클리어 가능.
왠지.... 물론 그럴 가능성은 낮지만 제작자분들이 만들다가 짜증나서 끊은 느낌?

Начну с главного плюса этого платформера, его оригинального геймплея. Суть заключается в нулевом счёте уровня, который минусует число врага, если в него выстрелить, либо плюсует его, если на него прыгнуть. Таким образом нужно найти нужный баланс, а каких-то противников и вовсе проигнорировать(иначе выход с уровня закроется в случае перебора или вообще не откроется). Потом объявится ещё и возможность переключения на оружие с возможностью умножения.
Ради примера, допустим: со старта игры счёт -4, а на уровне бегают цифры 1, 2 и 6. Следовательно, нужно выстрелить в 2, тогда станет -4-2=-6 и прыгнуть на 6, тогда станет -6+6=0 и можно будет выйти с уровня. Если прыгнуть/выстрелить после этого в цифру 1 в конце уровня(а здесь лишние цифры ставят так, чтобы они мешали пройти), то счёт станет 1 или -1, что закроет дверь перехода на следующий уровень.
Игра допускает 3 пропуска уровня, но увы, не пропуск босса, а с ним разбираться мне оказалось влом, потому что... переходим к ГЛАВНОМУ МИНУСУ игры: замедленный и корявый платформинг. Есть двойной прыжок и есть отскок от стен, вот ко второму приноровиться довольно сложно, но вообще прыжок от стены комбинируется с заветным двойным прыжком.
ИСКЛЮЧИТЕЛЬНО за интересную задумку игры, которую я прежде не видел нигде(если видели, то можете написать и игра станет с какой-то вероятностью копипастой) я таки влеплю плюс, но в связи с абзацем выше рекомендуется она разве что людям со стальными нервами и желающими вот такую незамысловатую комбинацию платформера с головоломкой.
Quirky number game. Worth it on sale.

As a former math teacher, I like the idea of the game. After playing it, I found it difficult. The controls on keyboard are hard to coordinate with the movements. I therefore regret spending my money on it. I just can't stand to play it.

Riot of the Numbers is a game that has me divided (pun intended) on whether I think it's worth the purchase or not. Let me get into the nitty gritty to tell you why.
This game is a platformer where your enemies are numbers, your heroes are numbers, and your weapons are math signs. The goal of each of the Riot of the Numbers' levels (save two boss levels) is to knock down the number from the top center of the screen from whatever it is to 0 which unlucks the door to progress. You start off with a subtraction projectile, an addition stomp, and in some levels you gain the division projectile.
What has me conflicted about this game is just how little there is to do here. I enjoyed the theme surrounding your goals, getting stumped on a few levels trying to figure out who to shoot, who to stomp, and who to spare. I enjoyed having to control two characters at the same time because of the need to focus on who to move and when. Overall, I like what the game brought me.
The issues I have aren't with the gameplay, the controls (although I hope the dev adds controller support at some point), or anything like that. I just wish there was more to it. The game was over before I felt it truly begun. Mechanics like having to divide or controller multiple characters came and went. There were only two boss battles and the last one felt very dissapointing compared to the first, and even more so because it was the final battle. I believe the game could have been something very fun if only there were more. I wanted more chances to rack my brain with the division sign. I wanted to see how multiplication could have thrown things into insanity. What the game had in a good concept was brought down by the lack of content surrounding it.
I have more to say in my video below, and you'll be able to see (and hopefully have read) why it's so hard to say yes or no to this title. I want to say yes because there's nothing inherently wrong with Riot of the Numbers, and I want to say no because I felt like there wasn't enough here for me to really sink my teeth into. That said....if you enjoy what you see on the store page, like a little math challenge to go along with your platforming, and want to have a good 20-30 minute distraction for just under a dollar...is it worth it: yes. For everyone else, it's probably okay to watch someone play it unless the developer decideds to add more, or even do a sequel that adds a lot more to the concept. If either of those things happen, I would love to revisit this game.
