Really grindy, but fun. I had this game on Switch as well, so I'm fairly familiar with the fact that I'm still unable to beat it. Its definitely easier with friends than alone. The best strategy for the game is to keep replaying the first stage to grind until your able to get all the available upgrades to actually beat the full five stages. Not all at once mind you, at a certain point you'll want to go back and grind for the consumables so that you can go through the final stage. I never got that far, because at a certain point it is that grindy. I still really enjoy it though, it has a very classic arcad-y feel that I really enjoy. Its definitely easier to grind with friends though, as there's one character that attracts all the gold and one that doubles the rate at which gold drops. Put those two together, and grinding becomes much faster

I like this game a lot and do recommend it if your looking for a brutal challenge however there are a few problems that being the PC version is horribly outdated and lacks both the story mode and the EX version features also the Switch and PS5 versions are also a bit outdated but they do at least have story mode and the EX features and while these versions are perfectly fine to play if you only have a Switch or PS5 they are still missing half of the screen filters if you want to get this game at it's absolute best pick it up on Xbox as that seems to be the most up to date version of the game

Minha dica é farmar no modo survival e comprar a menina qe pega gold em dobro (passe o mouse por cima dos golds nas fases pra coletar eles, não precisa andar por cima pra pegar e não se esqueça de apertar H pra esconder a HUD do jogo qe ajuda demais ( no controle é o select ))
Depois disso, farme pra upar o HK1000 no máximo pois ele é equipado em todos personagens qe vc desbloqueia e te ajuda demais no dano
E qdo estiver com um personagem bom e forte vc farma mais pra comprar power ups pra levar nas fases e aí siiim vc vai tentar zerar xD sim, um jogo qe exige farm pra caraaaamba e por isso pode ficar enjoativo mas pra zerar só assim mesmo pq é extremamente difícil
O jogo foi feito por uma pessoa só e a arte dele é mto bonitinha, fofinha e bizarra ao mesmo tempo xD

You're gonna die like 20 times on your way to understanding that this is an upgrade grind style game and that's kinda the tutorial. Once you get your favorite toon to +10 weapon strength you're gonna really enjoy blowing up everything in your path. Good times!
Excellent dual screen shooter. Great retro aesthetic, combined with addictive arcade game play and character progression mechanic, produce a top class experience. Well worth every penny.

With an obvious retro look and feel, you'll think you'll have a great time playing it and you
will...until the flaws become quickly obvious, potentially souring the entire experience.

The sad truth is, this game actually DOES have an improved version of itself, but it is NOT
on Steam, and judging by how old the game is, it really doesn't look like we'll ever get that version.
As such, I honestly don't recommend getting this game. You're better off getting it's better
version on other consoles.
LMFAO hard pass, Dev is pos who actualy said he dosnt care about the steam version and completely ditched the game after bringing it to switch with a ton of other features
The gameplay loop is 100% assbackwards. The game cannot be completed until you grind a character to level 20 and get an extra weapon because powerup are not spawn WITHIN ARCADE MODE. The developer made a guide that stated you have to grind money to unlock cole, grind her to 20, then grind for the option gun (9999g) then max that out to reasonably reach level 4. So, the player expected to pointlessly grind to even begin clearing the game. Traditional progressive power-ups in a shooter are a standard for a reason.
Without weapon level ups the player simply does not have enough damage and the pitiful amount of money dropped puts a mobile game to shame. Also, the UI is part of the play area so shots and zombies can be obscured. But don't worry, you can hide the entire UI. But this also hides how many powerups you have at the moment. Again, usually games put the UI outside of the play area for a reason!

There's 5 levels. Ball park amount of gold you'll need to get every upgrade is going to be like 50,000. You can reasonably expect to make 100-500 per run at the start if you try your hardest. Beat all the levels and you're looking at what, 3k? Why keep playing after you beat all the levels?
But hey, at least there are big titty girls crammed into any piece of artwork. That'll distract you from the nothing that this game provides.

I hope you enjoy grinding, because that's the only thing you will do while playing this game.
I've played this game for a good couple of years now and despite it being your basic sidescroller bullet hell, it's an extremely entertaining game. What they say is true though, the learning curve is high but if you have the patience for it, you'll learn to embrace it and its simple, yet elegant art direction (I am so in love with the backgrounds and sprites this game has).
This game has helped me decompress when I was going to Uni or when I had rough days at work.
I understand it may not be for everyone but I think anyone and everyone should give it a chance at least once.

Très bon petit jeu rétro, les musiques sont très "arcade", les bruitages aussi. Les graphismes pourraient être plus fins tout en étant pixel. Les modes de jeu sont variés.
Je n'ai pas réussi à configurer la manette. Il n'a pas été traduit en français, ça ne gène pas vraiment mais bon.
Il faut beaucoup de patience et de détermination car il faut farmer l'or, on meurt très souvent avant d'avoir un tir correct.
Ensuite on peut s'acheter des nouveaux personnages qui ont des pouvoirs sympas, mais le jeu nous suit en augmentant la difficulté, c'est très bien vu. Par contre moi je suis un peu découragé car même après 1h de jeu je n'arrive pas à la fin du premier Stage...
Ну такая себе гриндилка. Надоест быстрее чем что-либо откроешь в магазине анлоков, в котором все равно выбирать не из чего. Геймплей тоже особо разнообразием не блещет, по сути можно только стрелять. То же самое и с врагами: выглядят они по разному, но ничем не отличаются. Пули летают не на много быстрее ходьбы персонажа, так что никаким маневрированием и тактикой тут не пахнет. Вообщем, крайне безыдейная вещь.
Игра безумно аркадно интересная вкуснятина! Очень классная!

This game runs like poorly, features stolen sounds many of which are from SNK and the music is bad. There are MUCH better twinstick shooters out there. I recommend playing Assault Android Cactus, I don't recommend this
Basic bullet hell style, twin stick, arcade shooter. When you first start playing it, you'll be thinking to yourself, yeah, this is pretty okay, it's even something that you could totally see in an arcade, then you keep playing and you realize there's problems with the game.
The graphics are fine for what it is, although if I am being honest I kind of wish there were more blood and guts. The game's HUD overlay can get in the way sometimes and can be a burden. There's a selection of enemies in the game, but each stage is long and tedious, so expect to see the same enemies again, and again.. And again.
The selection of weapons and upgrades kind of suck, I wish there were more weapons or something you could buy, upgrade and switch between characters. After everyone is leveled up, they basically have all the same guns, just colorful blobs on the screen the fly about. Anyone remember Gradius? Having a weapon selection tool like that, with the ability to upgrade all the weapons would have been a nice touch.
The game is super cheap with the power-ups they do offer.
Although it mimics an arcade shooter, the reality is that your character(s) start off very weak and you need to level them up, to level them up you need gold, to get gold you need to either play the arcade mode or survival mode. Let me tell you, this gets real old, real fast. Games like this shouldn't have such a massive amount of grinding and if there is, it needs to have amazing benefits. The problem we have here is that you NEED to level up your characters to beat the game, no questions asked, but even after the upgrades I don't feel all that powerful.
Remember in Gradius you could choose between different tool options? Like enemy seeking missiles, energy shields that get worn out as they are damaged, extra ships, stuff like that? This is exactly what the game needed. Some sort of in game resource management that allowed you to select different tools and when need be, stockpile resources to restore those tools later. As it is, there's less than a handful of power ups in the game and you either get them via buying them or rarely finding them.
The game could have had some cut scenes to push it along, to kind of make me want to keep playing, like slowly telling me a story, but, it's not like that at all and in my opinion it was a mistake not to include that. There's a few different characters to select from and beyond some of their lame passive abilities, I don't care about them. What role do they have in the game? What's their story?
I got this on sale for less than $2.00 and frankly, I think that should be the normal asking price for this game. I can recommend this game, while it's on sale, but there's no way this game is worth $8.00

It took me 5 hrs to realise this game has an overhaul called Riddled Corpses Ex for a reason. Usually a PC version is always superior in some way, but this is inferior.
Sometimes you need an outsider perspective, to take what is a pretty solid concept and improve it. Which is what the EX version is, a different dev improving things.
So basically, don't get this on PC. Get the Ex version.
The grind is painful, you get gold in small amounts yet require tons of it in order to upgrade anything. You go to a stage, get halfway through, die due to not being a high enough level, then get 1-2 levels and get a bit further. Eventually you'll just be redoing stage 1 over and over and over because of how much gold is required.
This might be ok to add length to the game after beating it, but you will hit a hard wall around Stage 3 and have to grind in order to get stronger, because of the auto scroll on stages, you will end up not dealing enough damage and get piled on.
The game takes 0 advantage of PC either, capped at 30fps which feels really sluggish for what should be a fast paced game. It also doesn't run at native resolution, but instead runs at 1/4 resolution then offers either interpolation or some weird upscaling thing. Pixel games are supposed to look crisp that's part of the appeal.
Ex fixes all of these things, if you saw the two running side by side and had no context, you'd think Ex was on PC.
This game...sucks.
I'm having a hard time finding what's there to like about it and I've given it a second chance because the first chance, I blew it off due to being tired and I played it for 7 minutes. Now that I've gone over a half an hour and I'm more awake and aware to really play and see how it is. I should have honored my first glance.
Let's start with the placement of where everything is on the game as you go. There is too much to keep track of on top of having to shoot around and kill the zombies. The combo counter, I feel, is too much of an obstruction and with the zombies coming at you, it's annoying at times when you go up and you end up running into zombies. How? Oh, the stupid combo counter covers them! That's such an off-putting place to put such a novelty mechanic at. Why couldn't it have been smaller? Why is the Gold count sitting alone at the bottom right hand corner? It's got room to be placed where your HP and level is labeled. I just don't like where everything is placed.
The pixel visuals is nice, except for the ugly black pixel blobs you have to reveal as the levels slowly mosey on as are you. The firing shots you make as you guide them with the right control stick, that looks okay. It really does look like you're firing a lot of nerf balls but then again having played old games like Contra on 16-bit systems, I'm used to seeing nerf balls being fired.
Sound kinda sucks, because the music loops. There's a couple key reminders I've had when I heard the sounds. Firstly, the selection sound immediately perked my interest because it awfully sounds ripped from Capcom. You know that selection or score tallying sound in Street Fighter II? That's exactly what was used in this game to select things with. Not sure if ripped off carelessly or used for inspiration or what. Then, the music. The opening structure of the tune gave me a vibe of remembering how the music sounded like Ghostbusters for the Master System. Again, not sure if intentional or not. The last thing I have to point out is the explosion sound used with the dynamite - it's weak as ♥♥♥♥. Just a big distorted "pok" sound which, try not to listen to this game in high volume because it's somehow louder than anything else on screen which just make you flinch hearing it. There's barely any other sounds that's used in this game, devoid of what character it doesn't have working for.
The upgrades are kinda useful, but I want to talk about the primary firing weapon you have and will always have. You'll have to die approximately, two times before that damn thing is even useful. There is some challenge involved where you have to navigate around the zombies using what you have, I kinda get that. But if you don't have the patience for that, like I don't, then you're going to have to die twice before upgrading it up to 4 levels before it's useful enough to take zombies out in less than a hit. As I kept upgrading the gun though, I've realized that the picture for the gun itself, doesn't indicate to me that I'm not holding something more powerful in my hands. It just looks like two dots, then three dots, then four, then back to one and then three. Like, what the hell, here? What kind of weapon do I have? I do see the key differences when I fire it, but I wouldn't have guessed it'd be anything powerful by the portrait alone. Speaking of it being powerful, I don't feel any mightier than when I upgraded it 4 times than when I upgraded it about 9 times. When I upgraded it 9 times, it killed lesser zombies in no time, sure, but bigger zombies/bosses, I'd expect their health to chip down faster. It...kinda does, but not really.
Which leads into my next point about why this game sucks - it's expecting you to grind, grind and grind to have any fun or progress in the game. Gold counts up to single digits and they don't add up enough to make any sort of a huge difference aside maybe from upgrading the gun. But by the time I was upgrading the gun, I was still going down because of how much damage everything did to me. 2 - 3 hits, I'm dead. Grind again, progress a tiny bit more, die again. What's the point of even having a health bar to figure out how much damage does what if you're going to go down so quickly?
Case in point, this game is ♥♥♥♥.
It's a repetitive, garbage grindathon where your skills don't really matter a whole lot.
I'm guilty of liking games that force you to grind, but man, this takes it to a new level.

the aesthetic is dope but honestly the difficulty level is too high. it's not even a reasonable old-school challenge level of difficulty just flat-out ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. i'm not putting coins into this ♥♥♥♥♥ why is it so difficult. also like 360 degree bullet hell? it has its merits, it couldn't have been a top-down bullet hell game, but, like, as much as i've tried to like this game, i just don't and i can't recommend it.
Excellent Game and worth the price. You will die very often but each time you die you can upgrade your stats and make your damage higher. Sadly your life will not increase and you will have to learn to dodge if you ever want to beat the game. Indie Game i would without a doubt recommend.
This is click and shoot campaign you basically have arrow keys that you can move around and shoot with your mouse to survive. If you like retro this could be for you overall it's good game if your doing this just for good time

たぶんコントローラーを使った方が楽しい、というかキーボードマウス操作だと内容的にツラすぎる。

普通のゲームは展開が楽になるようにレベリングをすると思うのだが、
このゲームはMAXのレベル20になってようやくスタート地点に立った程度の火力になるという鬼畜仕様。
さらに高額の新キャラを買わないと先には進めない。
金、金、金、金のために、見た目は良くとも変わりばえしないステージを何度もやらされるのは拷問でしかない。
レベルを20段階も作った意味がわからない。
インディーズはこういうゲームバランスが悪いゲームが結構あるし遭遇してきた。
見た目やBGMは完璧。
しかし、いざプレイしてみると「テストプレイをして面白いと思ったのかコレ」ってゲーム。
このゲームはおそらく箱コンでプレイしたんだろうけど、キーボードマウスは考えてないなってのが伝わってくる。
総括としては
「見た目と盛り付けは完璧、味はゲロマズ」
少なくともこのゲームを楽しむなら最低限「箱コン」を持っていなとダメです。
キーボード(JoyTokey)+マウスだと苦しみしか産まない。
If you are looking for a twinstick shooter where you die a lot and have to try again, this is the one. Also, Zombies, old school graphics and sounds, and local co-op. I mean, I personally don't have any friends, so local co-op doesn't help me any. That might be why I enjoy killing all those zombies.
Прошёл я эту игру на все достижения и решил поделиться опытом. Вся суть игры - гринд. Много гринда. В основном, на первом и втором уровне (мобы мелкие по размеру, очень удобно собирать кучей, а потом всех скашивать взрывчаткой). Играете, в основном, за трёх-четырёх персонажей (что золото поднимают больше), остальные (включая стартового) - хлам. Только тогда, когда откроете Эрику - именно за неё стоит проходить все уровни, за остальных персов пройти 5 и 6 уровень почти невозможно. Режим выживания - такое себе, на четвёртой волне игра превращается в буллет-хелл. А так, в целом, игра неплохая.
Grindy fun. Real skill is needed though. Well worth the price, and it has that old-school Capcom feel. What else? It's cheap as a Coca-Cola.
In concept, this game looks like fun, a zombie blaster twin stick shooter. Right off the bat though, it sinks into a grinding slog.
I started the game, went into arcade mode. Beat wave 1, waited 30 seconds for the camera to slowly scroll over to Wave 2 while 2-3 mor enemies spawned at a time. Died, upgraded my weapon twice with the small amount of gold gained. Restarted, beat wave 1, waited for it to scroll to wave 2, beat wave 2, waited for it to scroll over to wave 3 and hit a boss that would have taken me 5 mintues at least to beat.
It might get better later, but there are better ways to spend that time, especially in this genre.

The game is designed around being level 20. For some reason you start at level 1 and have to grind there. When you get to level 20 the game starts to be really fun its a shame you have to grind for around an hour or so to get there first. If you are willing to be patient and grind this game is for you.
The cursor keys and carriage return work but no buttons trigger an attack. I cannot get the game to recognize my controller either.

Я купил игрушку уже очень давно, и часто играл когда было скучно) - Это весёлая игрулька, особенно с другом которого вы не видели давно, но даже она со временем надоедает, сложность на начале без прокачки чутка дезморалит и хочется кинуть, что у меня часто получалось, но вот опять решился поиграть и наконец на гриндить на фулл левл + полное прохождение. В выживании в одного я смог лишь осилить 131 волну, после чего мне надрали зад за наглость!

このゲームの持ってるものは悪くないんです。
可愛らしいドット絵に、軽快なBGM、操作性が良くシンプルにまとまったゲームデザイン、と基本となる部分はすごくいいんです。
ちなみに英語だけですが、ゲーム中に会話は無く、その点も全く問題なし。
ポイントはゲームバランスが最悪だという事。
まずキャラクターの育成が大前提となっている為、初期状態ではまず敵が硬すぎてクリアできません。
そこで進めるところまで進んで、獲得した資金を使い、新キャラを開放 (基本的に後半のキャラの方が強い) したり、能力をアップさせる必要があります。
キャラクターを育てきるまでクリアはできないでしょう。
さらに酷いのがその獲得資金が少ない鬼畜設定！！
1プレイで獲得できる資金が少なすぎて、何度も何度もそして何度も、同じステージをやり直す事になります。
もうこの時点で飽きてくる人もいるのではないでしょうか。
全キャラ開放、全能力MAXで13時間かかりました。
ちなみにこの時点で実績もコンプリートできます。
もう二度とやりたくはないです。

- using dynamite on some bigger opponents causes sometimes never ending stage (= bug)
- pressing esc, i.e. pausing the game, causes sometimes game freeze (= bug)
- grind fest (= time waster)
- repetitive gameplay (because of grinding)
Too grindey for my blood. And there's too much ♥♥♥♥ n the screen. Many cheap deaths. It's not fun like a bullet hell. I don't feel like I died due to lack of skill, I feel like I died because the game is buggy. Oh yeah, sometimes on level 3 the game bugs and doesn't advance to the next section.
I don't recommend this. So many better games out there instead of this. You can skip it.
Also, unlocking and upgrading only makes the games slightly more fun. It doesn't feel like a great reward. There's nothing worthwhile here.
Again, skip this game. You don't need it. It's a grindfest.
爽快な見下ろし型アクションゲームです。とりあえず面白いと思います。
敵が大量に出てきますが、かなり脚が遅いので冷静に弾幕で消し潰していく感覚です。中盤からは自機狙いの弾が飛んで来るので反応して避けたり、ボスの弾幕をよくみてすり抜けたり、といったアクションが必要になってきます。
また、大量にお金をドロップするので、それをかき集めるのも良い感触です。アンロックできるキャラクターの能力で自動お金回収があるあたりもコンセプトが統一されているように感じます。
UIがちょっと邪魔だったりミスをいかに減らすかというゲームバランスが若干イマイチですが、それを補う基本的な面白さがあります。注意点は一番最初の火力の低さですね。初期は非常に火力が低く敵を全くさばけないので、異常に難易度が高いのではと思ってしまうでしょう。最初は稼ぎに徹することさえやればすぐに軌道に乗ります。軌道に乗ってやることはやっぱり稼ぎではありますが。

Il s'agit probablement d'un portage à l'arrache totale d'un jeu flash mobile F2P médiocre "d'il y a 10 ans", pas du tout adapté au jeu sur support fixe mais vendu en l'état tout de même.
Aucun gamedesign (no joke, il n 'y a qu'un fond d'écran qui défile / s'arrete, trois bagnole et 2 bidons explosif totalement inutiles et c'est marre), les maps se contentent de vous faire avancer dans le vide, les ennemis sont très peu diversifiés - j'ai noté 4 type d'ennemis différents en tout, plus 4 ou 5 boss très similaires entre eux, et super nazes de toute façon), il n'y a pour ainsi dire aucun pattern de tir spécifique, votre tir de base est inutile il faut impérativement faire du grinding - pendant des heures interminables, aucun autre choix le jeu a été conçu comme ça.
Même en étant doué pour les STG, vous n'y couperez pas.
Ah, et TOUS LES NIVEAUX SONT IDENTIQUES. Seul le 3ème (sur 5 en tout) fait semblant de varier un peu les choses en vous montant sur une moto, mais à part graphiquement il n'y a aucun changement.
A EVITER A TOUT PRIX, ce jeu c'est la mort du fun.

This game starts out as a twin stick shooter game, and as you level up becomes more of a bullet hell game. If your a fan of both genres then give this game a go.
As some have stated the gold grinding to get upgrades and new characters is a bit high. If you just want to jump on and casually unlock everything...well, it won't go as you suspect. Upgrade and character unlocks require so much gold you'll be playing 3 hours+ (skill dependant) before finishing the upgrades for one character. I personally see unlock/upgrade system as more of a reward for playing to spice things up due to the enemies scaling with you. I never felt almighty with upgraded weapons or cheated with the scaling system.
TL;DR: This game can be played casual, but if you want everything, prepare to dedicate some time.
A promising title drowned in a grindfest.
Riddled Corpses is a zombie-themed Bullet Hell game, in which persistence is the (only?) key. The game features 6 characters, unlocked via Gold, which you gather in the Arcade and Survival modes. These characters also have levels (max 20) which define the damage they inflict. As far as I am aware, the damage progression is the same for all characters.
The reason to unlock further characters (besides achievements) are their special abilities, respectivelly: items magnet, double gold, extra health, and all of the three. The sixth char is still a mystery to me: she does have items magnet & extra health, but no double gold and... nothing else, apparently.
There is no conceivable way finish the game with a low level character: your damage output will not be able to rid the screen of zombies and you will be overwhelmed. Most players will need, in addition to lvl 20, the MK1000 upgrade which adds to the damage of all characters. It is *very* expensive, though.
And even once you have the [i]bestestest[/i] char unlocked and maxed with shiny upgrades, the Arcade mode is short, repetitive and uncreative. I am a bad dexterity player, and I found the game relatively easy too.
However, until you get a lvl20 char (with MK1000 lvl5) you'll be basically farming for Gold - not *really* playing. You'll have to repeat the same stages over and over and over again. It is just a grindfest. More casual players will be wanting to have at least the 4th char (with extra health) to defeat the final stages, and that takes another eternity farming. Sorry, grindfests are always a "no" in my book.
Achievements are natural, but become a burden just as much as the rest of the game due to grind. They would have been fine otherwise. Linux port had problems saving settings; I always had to manually modify some sound options. Otherwise, the port was fine.
Last but not least: there are [i][b]no waifus[/b][/i] beyond the main screen! Shame on you for playing with our hopes!
Riddled Corpses is a very straightforward twin-stick shooter with design and music heavily influenced by the 8 bit / retro / pixelated generation. Although the game can be frustrating, if you are a fan of that era of gaming you will probably enjoy what is on offer here (moreso if you are into Halloween / creature feature creepers as well,) however if you aren't a big fan of that kind of aesthetic you will probably get bored with this game very quickly as its gameplay and presentation are pretty thin.
The game itself is surprisingly grindy, and at first the game was really getting on my nerves with how many bullets the enemies take to eliminate. Your default guns / weapons are very piddly and weak against the always-encroaching throng of zombies, demon bunnies, and floating skulls, making for an initially-frustrating experience before you use the game's currency to upgrade your weapon. Even after leveling up your gun, however, the effects from the gun don't change all that much and seem to just be a slightly wider or more damaging machine gun.
The gameplay itself consists of little more than what you would find in similar SHMUP games, kiting the enemies around the screen and avoiding their projectile attacks and hitboxes, while using the occassional bomb / screen-clearing pickup or a time freeze which locks enemies in place and allows you to get around them easier. These two items are essential to completing certain sections of the levels as the screen can become VERY crowded with enemies and makes navigating them an exercise in precision and frustration in equal measure. At first I was pissed off that the UI would hide where enemies are (before discovering it can be toggled off and on) such as obscuring an enemy sprite spawning behind the icon of how many kills you've done, or behind the icon for the TNT screen-clearing item. This UI / HUD can be toggled off and on by pressing select on the controller, however having to swap between the two to check your life total and/or whether you have any of the special items to use can become annoying when the UI elements could have just been scaled down to avoid this back and forth.
For better or worse you have no option of exploring the levels at all, and instead are shimmied along on-rails style sequences. Occassionally the camera will lock into place and you have to defend an area from a wave of zombies or defeat a boss, but as far as player agency in choosing your own path of which areas to explore there is none, and the levels follow the same linear format each time you play them.
Although I enjoy booting this game up here and there to try my luck at not dying, I would wait until this game is on sale to snag it if you're at all interested, even as a well-done homage to retro titles, its base asking price is a little high for its simplistic gameplay and grindy nature.
Riddled Corpses is a highly imperfect game due to simple problems that could easily be fixed.
While I was looking forward to this game because I like Twin Stick Shooters and the great art style, I came away a bit disappointed as it plays a lot more like a Bullet Hell-lite which I don't care much for, I don't find narrowly dodging nothing but brightly colored objects for hours on end all that fun and to be quite frank I'm pretty bad at them but I'm pretty good at SHMUPS and Twin Stick Shooters.
I'll state the negatives and annoyances first.
[h1]Annoyances:[/h1]
It's a grindfest, while I could easily look past this fact because I don't mind grinding, hell, I play quite a few mobile games that are essentially all about grinding, it's kind of fun to an extent, but Riddled Corpses takes it really far. I ended up getting to the boss as level 1 Jon, not an easy feat as I didn't know at the time you could upgrade your character as it's an option on the main menu and not during the player setup or map select menu which threw me off until I backed out to the main menu. It was frustrating and took many tries to get to the boss only to be destroyed pretty easily once the projectile tombs starting spawning in during the fight and my measly little pistol did all of nothing to the two hulks and the little jester dancing around and flinging projectiles like no-one's business.
So, I discovered the upgrades, upgraded to about level 5 with the coins I accumulated. Game was much easier BUT this game also suffers from super wonky hit boxes on certain enemies that hit you from a mile away, some of the ordinary zombies can tap you from a few feet away and take a chunk of your precious health. The UI also completely blocks part of the bottom screen and almost the entire top part of the screen, the overdone, long lasting explosions on the zombies have fooled me so many times into thinking it was clear to proceed past them only to get hit by a zombie that was perfectly concealed by the smoke of the explosion. Happened so many times I decided to just never get near dead enemies. The larger enemies explode all over the screen making it a huge chore to get out of the way without being hit by a lesser enemy.
Enemies also spawn right next to you and probably the most annoying aspect is the fact that a lot of the enemies that will spawn later on fire a projectile when they spawn and only when they spawn, if you're standing anywhere near them when they spawn you WILL probably be hit.
Health is also pretty scarce in this game, most pickups are random though some things can be destroyed in stages and they always hold the same item every time but most levels only hold maybe one or two HP packs, I've gone full levels without an enemy dropping a single pickup or HP pack which makes the game much harder, other times I end up having 5 timers and 6 TNT and full HP plus two HP packs by the end, but that's not usually the case and even then, you'll probably be cheated out of your extra HP anyways. The TIMER pickup is also completely useless, it ONLY pauses enemies movement, not time itself, so projectiles are still moving and enemies are still able to spawn and even fire projectiles as they spawn. So it's essentially useless. It should pause EVERYTHING but the player or make projectiles fall out of the air or slow them down immensely.
In later levels, starting at Level 2 some enemies can fire projectiles every half second or so, the screen quickly becomes filled with these enemies so you'll have projectiles going every which way.
Now back to the grinding. Every character has a max level of 130. The only way to progress is to level up, the only way to get money is to play the game and die countless times to make up that money needed to level up and every level starts out super slow which makes getting money VERY tedious. Survival is the easiest way but again, starts slow but escalates quickly, you're lucky to last a few good minutes at any level under 30 with all the combined annoyances such as the excessive projectiles, useless timer pickup, UI elements always being in the way and enemies spawning right next to you.
I'd also like to mention that at least in a Bullet Hell Shooter or SHMUP, enemies usually come at you from above or swing back around from below, that's not the case in RC, enemies spawn randomly EVERYWHERE, even right on you, there is a mechanic to STOP enemies from spawning on you but you basically have to be standing DIRECTLY on their tombstone as it pops up and it'll destroy itself. So as you're looking ahead to dodge a projectile an enemy can appear right under your feet hitting you as you're trying to dodge all the ♥♥♥♥ flying around the screen and that to me is probably the most ANNOYING aspect of the game because it forces you into two states, either pay attention to only your character and dodge spawning enemies or watch out for projectiles as you hear them get fired. Both of those will likely lead to your death.
Because of the random spawning this also leads to moments where it's impossible to dodge getting hit as you'll have a wave of projectiles come at you and not enough time to clear the enemies blocking your path to dodge it and using the TNT can result in two things, the explosions block your view and you'll get hit by another projectile OR they block your view of the other zombies spawning right under your feet and again, the timer is USELESS.
[h1]So why is it that I recommend this game?[/h1]
It's simple, it IS fun, it feels good to play, controls well, looks great, has style, etc. and the issues could EASILY be fixed by the devs though it seems there hasn't been much in the way of activity from the dev on here recently though I know they're lurking.
You could turn UI elements transparent and make them smaller or put a strip accross the bottom with all the UI elements on it and block the game from rendering behind it, as if the screen cuts off right there. Make it to where enemies can't spawn within like 10ft of you. Make the timer and TNT more useful since they're so hard to come by and expensive to purchase (Early in the game at least.), make the explosions a little less pronounced or make them transparent so we can see through them, adjust hit boxes for certain enemies. Oh, and one last annoying thing, make the collision boxes on the cars, barrels and such NOT make you get stuck when you touch them, I'd randomly get stuck by a vehicle or barrel off screen and get hit, especially in Level 1. It was highly annoying.
Addicting to it's core!!
The insane difficulity make me wasting my time getting golds in-game plus the zombies wouldn't be that gentle, letting you breakthrough each wave and stage while killing 'ems, so good and so addicting.
Would recommend to arcade and time-wasting game lover.
全方位タイプのシューティングゲームです。二人同時プレイ可能。
可愛いドットキャラと裏腹に、二人プレイ前提にしているのでしょうか、ゲーム全体の難易度は高め。
仕様としては、日本の特定の敵キャラを倒してその場でパワーアップではなく、敵から回収したゴールドを使って自機を強化及び使用キャラのアンロックを行っていき、各ステージをクリアしていくシューティングゲームです。
良い点は、80～90年代のシューティングゲームの様に大量に押し寄せてくる敵をバリバリ撃って撃破してき、危なくなったらボムで一気に殲滅する爽快感。難しいながらも、少しずつパターンを覚えてステージをクリアしていく達成感を楽しめるところでしょうか。操作はゲームパットがおススメ。
いまいち良くない点としては、難易度が手伝ってかステージが進むにつれて急激に上がってしまう点。特にステージ3以降の難易度の上がり方は初見で驚きました。ゲーム画面は、スコア関係の表示が大きい為に少し画面が見づらい感があります。一応、パッドのセレクト等で表示・非表示が出来るようになっていますが、表示状態だと事故死率が高いです。
それでも、遊びごたえはありますのでおススメできるシューティングゲームです。
‥あと、スタート画面に出てくるお姉さん達はゲーム中は出てきません(笑) スタート画面だけです。あとは自身の心の中で補完しましょう(笑)
全方位型の8bit２スティックシューティングゾンビサバイバルゲーム。
これだけの要素が同居してなお高い中毒性を持っているのは凄まじいと思う。
まず言っておくと、難易度が鬼畜。
初期状態での火力はもう本当に蚊が刺す程度。
ただ硬い敵には「遠距離から走りながら撃つ」事で若干だが撃破する速度が上がる。
弾幕薄いよなにやってんの。
倒した敵がランダムで落とすお金を回収する事でアップグレードを買う事が出来る。
レベル(最高20、最終的に130)を上げていく事で威力・攻撃範囲共にガンガン上がっていく。
高レベル状態でオプション(アップグレードで入手)を装備した状態になってからがこのゲームの本番だと思う。
キャラクターも
・アイテム自動回収
・獲得するお金が2倍
・体力が他キャラの2倍
など割とバラエティに富んでいる。
ただキャラクターのアンロックも
・鬼畜難易度のアーケードモードをクリア
・最高で10ゴールドほどまでのドロップしかないお金で25000払う
・そのキャラも含めて3キャラを最高レベルにする
などこちらも気が遠くなるような作業を強いられる。
ゲームの進行を助けてくれるサブアイテムは大まかに4種類。
・ストップウォッチ
敵の動きを完全に止めてくれる。ただし小型・中型の敵は止めるけど
大型のキャラには効果がない。また敵の撃った弾を止める事はできない。
・ダイナマイト
画面上にいる敵を一掃してくれる。ただし体力の高い敵にはある程度のダメージを与えて終わる。
これで倒した敵が必ずお金を落とす。
・救急キット
体力回復アイテム。ただし一個の回復力はゲージ3割程度。
満タン状態で獲得してもストックが可能。ストックの数だけ敵の攻撃を無効化。
アイテム自動回収スキルが効かない。自分で回収しに行くしかない。
・タレット(自動射撃装置)
アップグレードを購入して初めて使用可能。
設置した場所から全方位に弾幕を発射し続ける。一定時間経過か一定ダメージで消滅。
ただし他のアイテムと違い、敵から入手できない。
・その他
単純に得点を加算してくれるアイテムがランダムで出現する。
アイテム関連はステージ間にお金を払って入手する以外は極端にドロップ率が低い。
回復アイテムなどはほぼ入手不可能と思っていい。
しかし体力ゲージ下の「コンボゲージ」を満タン近くに維持する事で飛躍的にアイテムドロップ率が上がる(気がする)。
コンボゲージは「敵を倒し続ける」事で上がっていき、一定以上で敵を倒した時の得点に倍率がかかる(最高二倍)。
以上の点を踏まえた上で僕が考える効率的なお金の稼ぎ方は
１ サバイバルモードをアイテム自動回収スキル持ちのキャラで開始
２ 敵を画面上に沢山出現させて一気に殲滅し、コンボゲージを上げてダイナマイトを複数個入手
３ 入手したらまた敵を画面上に沢山出現した状態でダイナマイト発動
４ ２～３を繰り返す
これである程度お金を貯めるのが楽になるはず。
うまくすれば１プレイで1500～2000程度のお金を入手できる。
お金二倍のキャラはあくまで最初のうちに使う程度で考えた方がいい。
敵が弾を撃ち始めると回収が追い付かなくなってしまう。
総撃破数が4桁になったあたりからはもう本格弾幕シューティングも真っ青の弾幕ゲーと化す。
個人的な感想として、補助アイテムにもっとバリエーションがあったらいいのにと思う。
例えばマリオで言うスターのような無敵化アイテムとか、
一定時間火力が倍とか、一定時間倍率固定とか。
基本撃って動いて撃って動いてだけのゲームだし。
サバイバルモードにも得点アイテムが出現するのに、得点が全く増えないのは何とかしてくれないかな…。
得点表示させる意味がないじゃない。
とにかくお金。お金を稼いでなんぼのゲームである。結局世の中お金がすべてなのである。
ただひたすらにキャラクターが可愛いのと、ゾンビとかサバイバルとか割と殺伐としたテーマのゲームなのに
レトロな雰囲気のポップなBGMがそんな雰囲気を完全に払拭している点はとても素敵。
本当にかわいいから。敵として出現するキャラですらも可愛い。

Sau cooles Indie-Game. Es ist den Preis echt Wert. Du bemängeln gibt es nur eines, vieleicht liegt es auch an mir aber ich kriege mein NES30 Pro Gamepad nicht mit dem Spiel zum Laufen.
This game has some good in it. But the issues make to not worth your time. The UI ends up blocking too much of the top, side and bottom of the screen. The game demands an impressive grind, but replaying things is slow and boring. There just isn't enough to keep you in the game for as long as it demands.

It's a great game for anyone who likes the bullet hell genre but like some have already say, it's a lot of grind, you may be a pro at this genre but you'll go nowhere because you need to upgrade your characters.
Other than the grind flaw, it's a pretty good twin-stick shooter game, I personally play it alone and I love it so far.
It has great graphics for those who love retro graphics and a simple but good gameplay.
I would recommend it only to those who love the bullet hell/twin-stick shooter genre and if you don't mind having to grid a bit.

The gameplay is fine, if a bit repetitive, but there's no real story at all, no real difference to the characters beyond their special abilities, and no real reason to keep playing beyond the satisfaction of completion
just having a bit of character dialogue at some point would go a long way towards making this more enjoyable, and maybe an explanation for the little characters models you collect and it shows you how many you have? What exactly is the point of those anyway?
bottom line, this is a fun way to waste some time, but gets really boring really fast
First: If you don't like the bullet hell genre, then you most likely won't like this game.
But if you DO, there's a good chance you'll like this game, as it's quite decent and enjoyable.
Of course, expect to die a lot, as in most bullet hell games, at least at first, and try levels repeatedly. And, while it's not required, play with a controller if you can. As you can imagine, bullet hells are on a whole 'nother level of hell when played with a mouse and keyboard, generally speaking.
This game, while fun, is not for those who want a story. Riddled Corpses is about gameplay, which is definitely fitting considering it is, in fact, a bullet hell. Aside from that. the pixel artwork is charming and the enemy designs are well done. They do a good job of adding to the experience.
In short, this game is about fun gameplay, and not story, If you're into bullet hell you'll probably like it.
虽然喜欢像素风类游戏，但这操作很是不习惯，而且不能改键位，鼠标射击太蛋疼！前期火力弱，必须刷金币买武器，导致后面有点刷烦了。还有一点就是不能续关，死了就从这一关重来，至少加入续关要花金币的功能啊！屏幕分辨率改了之后，下次启动时不会保存。
挂卡+1的玩意，游戏设计比较新颖，但是武器耍的很累以及初始武器很烂，有不少波怪就算了中途还出小BOSS以及炮塔，但是武器钱关卡设计还是没任天堂的光之神话好，至少光之神话就算不升级弓箭最多弄个远程弓箭就基本能玩过去了，而这玩意纯属异类，如果是看难度高来玩还不如去玩CAVE社的弹幕射击游戏或者90年代末的街机版的沙罗曼蛇2

There comes a point where Originality becomes nigh-impossible, so instead, unless you are a whacky genius, your best bet would be to take a already established trope, and injecting into it some variants rarely seen to create a unique concept, along with cramming your game with love and entertaining design, that's where [b]Riddled Corpses[/b] comes in.

What was the name of the overused cliches undead people again? Yeah, those.
At this point, I swear im totally fed up with them, is no different here, things go badly and suddenly we have a plot device that's just as generic as possible, however, while the story is no longer than 3 lines, everything else makes up for it.
[h1][b]Gameplay[/b][/h1]
Zombies and Bullet hell-Shoot'em'up gameplay, so this is what psychodelic drugs would make you come up with, huh?
K, free of awful jokes, this mix is quite unique and well dam implemented at that.
The shooting mechanics are great, annihilating every abomination in your way is very satisfying and while the Screen can get very worked with the amount of bullets present at times, it is exhilarating to slip around bullets like a boss, plus it manages to run silky-smooth even with a cabbage PC like mine, so I dare to say this game can be enjoyed even with 2009's Notebooks.
The Items you can use to your aid are also pretty sweet stuff, mainly the Dynamite which blows everything up and gives you cash money for every killed enemy, the Stopwatch and Turret lose a lot of effectiveness in the later Levels where mostly everything shoots at you, so they are not bad, just situational.
[h1][b]Design[/b][/h1]
While the Shoot'em'up and Bullet Hell mechanics are very well implemented, the Level Up system is beyond being a tiresome chore to handle, you need to constantly rack up Gold in order to enhance your firepower and make yourself more effective, you can even purchase some other Chars that have special traits if you have enough Gold.
The Lvling starts cheap enough, but afterwards, nearing Lv20, the prices turn obnoxiously high compared to the amount of Gold you would gain from Arcade, some could call it Replayability, but considering there is only 2 Game Modes, i would rather call it padding via limitations.
[b](I personally reccomend unlocking Liery as soon as possible, her 2x Money and Survival Mode (Wave 4 onwards) will give you the highest profit possible)[/b].
Now if there is a slip-up, is how when using the Keyboard, the HUD remains opaque, even when there are mobs or you are nearby, so you could get pot-shotted if you don't have a sharp eye for that sort of thing, I once tried it with the X360 controller and the HUD became transparent.
There is also this bug where if you pause the game around the time a Mini-boss or Boss would spawn and the game is still paused, the game will crash, so... Patch?

The level of detail in this game's art is just dumbfounding, the brilliant colors and some of the dark or bright aesthetics in the levels mix into a art direction that i love and can't get enough of, even during the most down-to-earth and dark locations, it still manages to be greatly polished, and for that, i applaud it.

In my personally opinnion, it hops up and down throughout the game, the Stage 1 theme is embedded into my head and the Stage 2 tune is pretty nice too, but afterwards, I legit am unable to hum any other theme by heart, yeah, that includes Stage 5, in which i had to replay possible more times than Stage 1, is not terrible, is just a bit roller-coaster...y.

As hinted during the [b]Design[/b] category, this game's length is entirely up to how much of a completionist you are about this, you can easily try to get better and you can Lv the base character to 20 and get through Arcade mode in like... 30 mins.
Afterwards, Survival is there to challenge you to see how much mobs can you slaughter before you rip in peace... If you are behind a Hi-score.
For so, if you are not seeking the Achievements, this game can be no longer than a pair of hours once you get some good fire and beat Arcade mode, but if you decide to go full Achievement, expect your game time to near 20 hours.

For its asking price, this game is worth checking out, specially if you are particularly interested in the cliche zombie trope and also like your Shoot'em'up to be hard as balls (Almost like a kid-friend version of Touhou at times), charming art style and very competently designed gameplay mechanics, this game is a quick but solid burst of entertainment (or sheer frustration depending on your Skeelz), perfect for a Arcade-styled game.

I was really hoping to like this game. Unfortunately, the shop system sucks. You and a friend will play to unlock only one character at a time, and you will share them throughout your play time. Riddled Corpses is tedious, and not in a fun way. It's a shame, because if the shop system was overhauled to give people actual options for upgrading, then this game would have been great! As it is though, you save for the next character, or pay to level the same one up some, which only gives you a shallow impression that the shop means something.

I bought this game because it says in the description it's compatible with the ps3 controller. Well, I found out that's not true. I just tried using Joystick Mapper but nah, it's unplayable.
I hope they fix this soon. For now I can't recommend it since the description is wrong. When they fix it I'll edit this.

顺便一说这游戏音量无法调节只能选择开启或关闭，而且用键盘的话键位略奇葩了一些还不能改。
This is a fun and faithful recreation of old-fashioned arcade shooters that is just difficult enough to make beating the game satisfying without making the journey there too frustrating, and has some fun music and monster designs to go with the gameplay. 不得不说这款千疮百孔的尸体作为小游戏很有想法并且很有趣，把弹幕和僵尸题材完美结合在一起，优点很多，不过缺点也很明显。
比如说角色虽然都很萌，但解锁却相当费劲，因为前期人物等级低，弹幕弱，根本打不了多少金币。另外道具本身比较有帮助，最喜欢炸弹，时钟就鸡肋了，因为后面大部分敌人出现时都会有远程攻击且无法停止。道具虽然可以买，但是太贵了，前期根本买不起这种消耗品。最后必须说一点，每一关有6波敌人，短短3滴血狠难撑那么久，并且boss血量惊人就算了，出场还召唤小boss，还有第二形态，有就算了还召唤一大堆小兵！弹幕游戏结尾和boss单挑是常识，可以说这个设计太反人类了！而且每一关都得从头开始打，这是多少年前的设定了！为了打过boss，你就会反复提升等级，积累金钱，屯道具，让本来有趣的游戏变得枯燥。
但还是推荐一下吧，因为玩的很嗨，但如果有评分机制，我只能给7分吧，因为难度设定太大了，很容易让人放弃。
Didn't think much of all the people saying it required a grind. It obviously does and after playing the first wave or two in survival just to get a bit more gold for pretty much the whole 40 minutes I played, I was bored.
The graphics just seem kind of ugly to me to be honest. They seem sort of uglier than what the trailer shows or maybe they just have something really off about them. Who knows. The music is annoying to. I had to mute it.
I can see some people liking this game but I think there's plenty of better twin sticks out there, for less than the $4 Autumn Sale price, and definitely the $8 regular price.
Arcade gameという言葉に惹かれて開発するとがっかりしてしまうと思います。
というのも、このゲームは自分のテクニックを磨いて華麗にステージをクリアするゲームではなく
コインをひたすら稼いでキャラクターを強化するゲームだから。
このゲームはステージ中で取得したコインを使って、
アップグレード画面からキャラクターのレベルを上げて恒久的に強化することができます。
こういったアップグレード要素自体は嫌いではなく、むしろ好きなほうですが
このゲームの問題点はそれがゲームプレイの幅を広げるためにあるのではなく
"レベルを上げなくちゃまともに攻略できない"というバランスにあります。
初めてプレイすると、敵の沸くスピードに対しこちらの火力が圧倒的に足りないため
ステージ1からして無理ゲーに感じてしまうでしょう。
泣く泣くタイトル画面に戻りUPGRADE STATSの文字を見つけ、キャラのレベルをいくつか上げてみる
すると火力が10倍近くになり、さっきまで苦戦していたのが馬鹿馬鹿しくなってしまう。
そのため、せっかくステージをクリアしてもレベルを上げたおかげで勝てた感が大きく
トライ&エラーを繰り返しステージを把握することで少しずつ前に進むという
アーケードスタイルのゲームの醍醐味を完全に殺してしまっています。
終盤になれば大量の敵と弾幕にどう対処するかという本来のアクション要素を楽しめるのですが
そこに至るにはまずレベルを最大まで上げて、このゲームの所謂"スタート地点"に立っていることが前提で
そういったゲーム体験を得るまでに長い時間を要します。
レベリングの他に、特殊な能力をもったキャラクターをアンロックすることもできますが
アンロックしたばかりのキャラのレベルは1なので、
実戦投入するには再びレベル上げの作業が必要になります。
アンロックするだけでも高額の費用が必要なのに
そこからレベル上げで更にコインを要求されうんざりしてくる。
ボリュームのあるゲームならば攻略と平行して自然とアップグレードを行えるのでしょうが、
残念ながらステージは数えるほどしかありません。
しかも後半のステージだからといってコインをより多く稼げるわけではないので
集中して稼ぐ場合必然的に最初のステージをマラソンすることになり作業プレイとなってしまいます。
要はレベリングを前提としたバランスとアーケードゲーム風のステージ構成が噛み合っていません。
HUDが大きすぎてプレイを阻害しているのも問題です。
馬鹿でかいキルカウンターとウェーブの進行ゲージが画面の縦の狭さに拍車をかけています。
箱コンならばBackボタンでHUDを非表示にすることができるのでそれで解決できますが
そうすると当然、残機や所持ボム数も当然見えなくなる・・・
(それでも非表示にしたほうがまだプレイに耐えうる)
BackボタンではなくR・LトリガーだったならまだHUDの表示・非表示を切り替えやすいと思うのですが、
コントローラコンフィグはこのゲームには存在しません。
そもそもオプション設定が保存されないなど細かいところで粗が目立ちます。
コインコインコイン・・・
このゲームはどう攻略しようか試行錯誤している時間よりも
コインを稼いでいる作業時間のほうが圧倒的に多い。
アップグレード要素が無ければもっと楽しめるゲームだったと思います。
ドット絵のグラフィックは魅力的で、スクリーンショットからはわくわくしたものを感じただけに残念。

그냥 캐릭터가 이뻐서 바로 결제했습니다
그런데 인게임엔 2등신 도트캐릭터만 나올뿐,
상점 페이지에 나와있던 이쁜이들은 없더라구요..
일단 게임 모드는 두가지가 있습니다
아케이드,서바이벌
아케이드는 웨이브를 넘기고 보스를 잡으면 다음 스테이지로 넘어가는 형식이고
콤보를 유지하고,가끔씩 드랍되는 아이템을 먹어서 좀더 높은 점수를 내는게
아케이드 주목표 인것같네요.
서바이벌 모드는 말그대로 최대한 오래 살아남으면서 킬수를 높히는게 목표인 모드입니다
일단,상점 페이지에 나오는 이쁜이들에게 속아서(?) 결제했지만
게임은 재미있게 하고있습니다
돈을 모아서 캐릭터를 열거나 강화를 시키는점이 마음에 드네요
강화를 할때마다 공격이 강해지는건 물론이고
투사체 모양이 점점 화려해져서 쏘는맛도 납니다
그런데 약간 노가다성이 짙은게임이라
가끔씩 현자타임 오는게 문제이긴 하네요..
키보드 유저분들 아이템키는
시계 R 폭탄 F 터렛 V 키입니다
MK1000 은 캐릭터 양쪽에서 추가공격이 나가게 해주는 아이템 입니다
한번 사면 영구적으로 사용가능하고 이것도 업그레이드를 해야합니다
게임초반에 무리해서 사질않는걸 권장합니다 초반엔 캐릭 업그레이드 하세요..

Nice Arcade Style Twin Stick Shooter.
You collect gold to upgrade your choice of character and unlock them.
Its a grinding fest as you need a lot of gold to upgrade your character to advance each stage.
Lots and lots of zombies to kill while dodging a very chaotic mess.
Either go alone or Local Co-op but not Net-Coop so you need 2 controllers or Controller+Keyboard/Mouse.
Very challenging and fun.

Целая куча зомбаков обильно шмаляющая по вам лазером появляющиеся буквально под ногами в сумме с ужасно медленной прокачкой.
От паверапа "остановка времени" и так еле двигающиеся зомбаки перестают передвигатся но вот вылезать под ногами и палить лазером всё равно не перестают.
Но играть более менее весело.

实际上也是个刷刷刷的游戏，不过刷的只有钱。
后期游戏性不足注定了只是个过一遍的游戏，通关之后就只能刷生存模式。
个人感觉只值2~3刀，原价还是不推荐买。

シンプルに面白い、かなり熱中できます。
オプションが保存されないとか、画面表示が邪魔だとか(表示・非表示の切り替えではなくて、小さく表示してほしいんですが…)とか色々有りますが、オススメできます。
I took this game after i read some players which are not recommend it, and frankly, it is one of the best time killer games i ever play( First is Hyperdimension Neptunia Rebirth Series, then Agarest Series ).
Gameplay 4/5 ( I`m using KEYBOARD, not gamepad )
While I think it is fantastic, why I give it 4 points about gameplay? Well, I have to say that character usually mix in the zombie, and that will contribute to a deadly wrong control :(
It cannot be improve by a shiny mark "player 1" on the character head unless the producer try to make a new update.

Definitely, BGM is wonderful. Full screen enemies with Passion music, like you eat french fries with tomato sauce. But i think i can`t give 5 point. Why? Huhhhh.....The point which BGM repeat is bad, and i think the producer should be more careful about this situation. Fix it PLZ :)
Difficulty 2/5 ( Not friendly to Greenhand )
Well, there are some important things you need to know before read my review. I`m a Touhou 2D Shooter ( Looks like Raiden Series but more difficult ) and Touhou FTG game player. Which means i can live with it`s difficult easily. But most of the players are not good at play a game which is hard at the beginning. In another words, no tutorial, no difficult selection, 1 life, and the game is over. Although i`m good at 2D shooter, defeat 5 stages with 1 life is a hard work. So if you`re not good at 2D shooter, do not try it >:(
Recommend play time each time: 1h~1.5h
The biggest problem about this game is that it doesn`t have enough modes to dig out it`s potential development. 2~4 players co-op mode, Versus mode ( try to survive longer than your enemy ), Overlord Mode ( 5 players, 4 survivors, 1 zombie commander/boss. Survivor needs to transport their goods and defeat commander, Zombie needs to stop them ), L4D Mode etc.
In short, it is a great game and i really recommand you to take it~

แต่เกมนี้ แค่ด่านแรกคุณก็จะยิงศัตรูไม่ตายแล้ว(ยิงเบามาก)
และแม้คุณใช้ gold อัพเกรดปืนมาพอสมควร คุณก็ยังยิงศัตรูด่าน 1 ไม่ตายอยู่ดีนั่นแหละ
(ถึงคุณจะสเตปเทพ หลบได้หมด แต่คุณก็อาจจะล้าก่อน)

มีตัวละครให้เลือกใช้หลายตัวมาก แต่ละตัวก็มี ability ไม่เหมือนกัน (แต่ใช่ gold ปลดล็อคนะ ใช้เยอะด้วย)

I recommend this game with a very large disclaimer: it's hard and you have to be willing to accept that.
Is this game perfect? No. Is it still worth playing? Yes, and here's why:
Riddled Corpses is a throw back to the arade games of the late 80's: mutants, zombies, and Engrish. It's a frenetic twin-stick shooter that demands zen-like concentration at times and a willingness to invest a few hours of grinding as well.
The grinding is what polarizes peoples opinions of this game. "Grinding? In an arcade shooter?" Yup. In order to get stronger and to get sub-weapons, you need cash. You get cash by killing enemies. Survival Mode is the best place to get cash. So you'll spend quite a bit of time there. See, at that point, RC becomes a score grind which reminds me of classic Atari-age shooters where the score was all that mattered. For that, I'm cool with it.
The graphics are bright, varied, and colorful. Enemy design is nice. The music is pretty good. It controls as well as it should. It's just the grinding. Raw skill only gets you so far with RC, and while some feel that it's a poor design choice having to grind for more firepower, it needs to be addressed that if it wasn't for the grinding and steep difficulty, this game would be over in a single sitting offering little replay value.
If you can accept nut-punchingly difficult shooting and a required sense of dedication, this game is worth the purchase.
Pretty fun arcade style top down shooter. Simple as dirt, but I don't really mind that so much because it gets so fun. The level system was pretty solid way for keeping me around. For eight bucks, it's absolutely worth it.
And the poor English is charming, reminds me of bad 80s arcade games.
Really fun game and actionpacked game!
Developer is a real bro and is fixing/improving everything that gets reported.

可愛いタイトル画像と裏腹に、凄い密度でゾンビと弾が押し寄せるガチガチの全方位シューティングゲームです。
プレイヤーはコントローラまたはキーボード＆マウス操作で敵を避けながらひたすら撃ちまくり、片っ端から敵を殲滅していくことになります。
さてこのゲームの最大の売りは、なんと言っても非常に爽快なプレイ感。
シューティングゲームは大別すると「撃つ快感型」と「避ける快感型」に別れますが、本作は圧倒的に撃つ快感の比重が大きくなっています。もっとも後半ステージは敵の弾幕もかなり容赦がないので、ただ撃てば良いってものではありません。またハイスコアを狙うとリスクの高い行動を取る必要があり、なかなかスリリングです。
と、大まかな説明をしたところでもう少し詳く解説していきましょう。
[h1]人の欲にまみれたゲーム性[/h1]
本作には全5ステージをボスを目指してずんずん進んでいくアーケードモードと、1画面のなかでひたすら敵を倒し続けていくサバイバルモードがありますが、どちらも基本的にやることは変わりません。敵との接触を避け、弾丸を叩き込み、敵が落とすお金やアイテムを回収していきましょう。
攻撃衝動に物欲金銭欲と、本作は[b]人間の欲望をかなりダイレクトに満たす要素[/b]で満ち溢れています。
自機の攻撃ははじめは泣けるほど貧弱ですが、お金を使うことでアップグレードが可能。強化していくと火力・攻撃範囲ともに凄まじく強化され、中ボス級の敵のライフもまるで夏場のアイス状態です。
またアーケードモードでは各ステージ開始時にライフ回復（というか実質的に残機増加）アイテムや、消費型の攻撃アイテムを購入できますが、この際も当然お金が必要です。
特に攻撃アイテムのうちダイナマイトは[b]画面内の雑魚敵が全滅するのに加え、敵弾全消去、更に倒した敵が全てお金に変わる[/b]という効果を持つためため大変強力且つ爽快。画面中にひしめく敵が一瞬で全滅し、一面のお金畑に変わる様は非常に強いカタルシスと、[b]ああ、私生きてる！ 今生きてるよ！[/b]という具合に強烈な生の喜びをプレイヤーに与えるのです。いや、本当に気持ちいいんですってコレ。

ちなみにサバイバルモードでは敵がドロップするアイテムが全てなので、ダイナマイトと回復アイテムがコンスタントに出たら大変ラッキーです。
あ、そうそう。タイトル画像に6人のキャラが書かれていますが、最初から使用可能なJon君以外は全て条件付アンロック。そしてそのうち3名はお金が必要になります。彼女たちを使うためにも頑張ってお金を稼いでいきましょう。これは[b]Kawaii欲[/b]かな。えっ、そんな欲ないって？ またまたぁ。
[h1]我々はKaizenを要求する！[/h1]
成る程本作は楽しいゲームです。しかしいくつか欠点や不具合が目に付くのも事実。そこらもレビューしなくては不公平なのできっちりやっていきましょうか。
まずなんといっても目に付くのがユーザインターフェイスの邪魔臭さ。
画面左上に表示される自機のライフやアイテムの数、上部中央に表示されるKill数、下部に表示されるWAVEの残時間などがゲームのプレイ領域にがっちり掛かっており、更に[b]その裏にあるものは完全にマスク[/b]されてしまいます。
つまり見えない領域に敵が発生している可能性があり、いきなり弾が飛んでくるぐらいならまだマシ。弾を避けるなどして自機が表示物の裏に入ったときに敵がいたら、かなり高確率でダメージを受ける羽目になります。プレイヤーの実感としては「なんか知らんがいきなり理不尽にダメージを受けた」という具合で大変よろしくない。せめて裏に入ったときだけでも透過処理してくれないかなあ。
同様のケースはアーケードモードのステージ3でも見られます。
雲海の中に設置されたハイウェイをバイクで駆け抜けながら戦うという大変爽快なステージなのですが、画面手前にある雲が大きく視界を狭めます。具合の悪いことにステージ3はハイウェイという設定から移動可能範囲が他のステージより狭く、更に敵が全体的に硬くなった上に結構弾をバラ撒いてくる為、強烈に難易度が上昇しています。
まあ幾らなんでもこれは判ってやっているのだろうと推測はするのですが、恐らく製作者の思惑以上に難しくなってます。
また一部ステージではWAVEゲージが出ている状態でポーズを掛けると、ポーズ中にも関わらずゲージが減少するという酷いバグが見られます。[b][u]（※このバグはアップデートにより修正されました）[/u][/b]一見安全にクリアできそうな気がしますが、結局ポーズ解除後に同量の敵が出てしまうため、次のエリアの敵と混成攻撃を受けて割ととんでもない状態になります。
他にもオプション設定が保存されないのも地味ながらなんだかなーと思う部分。このあたりはどうにか直してほしいですね。
[h1]タイトル画像の誘惑[/h1]
欠点はあるものの、総合的に見ればかなり楽しめるゲームであることは間違いありません。内容に対して若干値段が高めかも知れませんが、セール時なら…ん？ こんなKawaiiキャラたちの姿を拝めるんだからむしろお値段以上？ 成る程成る程。
えーと、実は[b]このキャラたちの姿が拝めるのはタイトル画面だけ[/b]です。ゲーム中に一枚絵などは特に出ませんし、ドット絵キャラも彼女たちのナイスバディを表現するにはちょっと小さすぎて、[b]谷間[/b]とか[b]ギリギリなスカート[/b]とかは[b]全然表現されていません[/b]。
いや、いませんレベルだったらまだ良いんですが、下手すると[b]ドット絵とタイトル画像で衣装も髪型も異なっており[/b]、更に6キャラ中3人が紫～ピンク色系統の髪の毛をしているために、どれが誰やらさっぱり判らないのでした。いや一応良く見ればこれがこれかな…？ぐらいにはなるんですが。
こういうのを見ると、キャラデザインって大事なんだなあ、とか思っちゃいますねえ。
[h1]余談 -あの鐘をならしたのはどなた？-[/h1]
あと、いっこ書くかどうか結構迷って結局書いちゃうんですが、WAVEが終了して次のエリアに行くときのアラームがめちゃくちゃ聞き覚えのある感じの音なんですよね。具体的には[b]メタルスラッグの次エリアへの移動を促す音[/b]。あれとあまりに似過ぎてる…というか、[b]もしかしてもしかしますかね？[/b]
取り敢えず権利関係で揉めないことを祈るばかりです。

It's difficult. Like, very hard. It's sometimes hard to see progress but you see them in the characters that you play. If you like playing the old school Strikers 1945 game, you'll most likely enjoy this.
Definitely a sweet game, and well worth the 8 bucks I spent. Simple but yet difficult. A hail of bullets mowing down enemies old school style. Know going into this game, though, that it is more challenging than it may seem at first. I think the only couple of things that I can think of to maybe make it a little better would be a slight increase in health pack drops and online multiplayer. As it stands thew coop is local area only. So, don't count on playing with a buddy unless he's right next to you.
Okay, this game does have some flaws, namely the huge spawn rate, and, at least in the beginning an almost impressive lack of firepower...but don't let that fool you. This is one hell of an addictive little shooter. In the hour I've owned this I've done nothing but abuse my 360 controller, yell at my TV, and levelled up my little character. I haven't even bothered to unlock any other characters because I'm spending all my gold to power up the little guy's guns! I have a feeling that if this had been released in arcades, with a few tweaks it would have a major quarter-eater back in the day! All in all i'd say if you're into hard, and I mean HARD games, like the 8-16 bit aesthetic, and have the capacity to to deal with equal amounts of frustration and joy then play this game...you won't regret it. If You have a tendency to throw your controller, well...I'd stay away.

Riddled Corpses is technically competent, as it runs with a constant frame rate and has the necessary controls you'd expect from the game with the controller. But where the issues start to arise is the gameplay. The lack of variety becomes a huge issue when the games design format forces you to replay the same areas over and over again, as the game has an RPG mechanic to up your damage and fire rate, which is necessary to get through the hordes of enemies that come on the later waves. A lack of spawn point protection in particular causes a major problem, as dealing with a huge horde of zombies can lead to instant death, which then causes to go through the same boring waves that you are overlevelled for. That's what kills the game in the end, as that combined with the lack of variety with limited powerups and only your regular weapon and no different pickup-able weapons makes a game that plays very much the same every time you play: and that's a bad thing.

[*] Lack of gun variety and gameplay variety hurts the game overall. You're just shooting dudes, and nothing really changes in the variety of that with only 2 power ups, and no weapon pickups.
[*] Gameplay requires repeated runs with the upgrade system due to hitting walls in game. Your firerate/damage eventually hits a point where you can't deal with enemy spawn rate and health, and that causes you to do things repeatedly over and over again by starting levels again.
[*] Lack of protection regarding enemy spawns means that an enemy can spawn on top of you when you are trapped in the corner. This leads to frustrating deaths as the health system is unforgiving in that way. And there's no pattern here in terms of those spawns from what I see.
[*] Because of the repetition, the music, which initially is fun to listen to, wares on you rather quickly, to the point where you want it out of your head. Some more variety in music could have helped this.
[*] Deceptive hitboxes are larger boss enemies in terms of attempting to move above them.

Fantastic game! Well worth the purchase. It is a bit difficult at the start, but after a few upgrades you will be mowing down zombie hordes in no time!
Learn from my mistake and don't purchase dynamite early on. Upgrades are where its at.
