Interesting shooter where you can spin thus change position of your ship. Whole stage is rotating allowing to avoid bullets easily. Enormous boss fight in each stage and somewhat interesting enemy formations. On the contrary too much blue it can cause eye strain. Controls work good. Typical fire modes like rapid fire, laser and overcharge which can be activated upon filling. Music is ok. Overall unique game in its genre.

Not opening in full screen by default was a mis-step by the devs. It sat in my library for years because of it. That said I started going through old unplayed games and figured it out. I'm very glad I did! This might be my favorite shooter ever! Graphics and game play are top notch. Highly recommended!

Es básicamente un examen de reflejos con mechas y robots donde el diploma dice: “aprobado con sudor”.
La primera impresión es clara: esto no viene a contarte una novela, viene a ponerte a esquivar balas hasta que tu cerebro empiece a ver patrones donde solo hay destrucción. Entre ciencia ficción futurista, efectos llamativos y una banda sonora que se toma en serio el “vamos a morir épicamente”, el juego se siente como una máquina de arcade que alguien dejó conectada en 2026… y nadie está jugando. Lo controversial: el juego puede ser buenísimo y aun así sentirse como un club exclusivo… vacío. 其实是十年前买的游戏，最近机缘巧合之下拿出来打了打，发现这游戏的质量可以说是出乎意料的优秀，虽然上手难度有点高。该怎么说呢，这游戏在stg游戏类别里设计精妙程度应该算得上是独一档的，能设计出来这样的作品真的很厉害。
总之感觉哪怕只看设计思路内核，都值得给这个游戏的打这个分了。不过这个分因为是凭着创新性给的，所以非stg玩家还是要谨慎购买，stg玩家也要做好不是自己喜好类型的心理准备？（

Nice concept of rotating the camera to change the bullet positions but the game doesn't launch full screen 1st time it loads.
Couldn't see what options were selected due to the window being off to the left and unable to move it. Had to Alt + F4.
Had to browse the config files to find the config.exe to switch it to full screen (should be default on 1st load)
Game was juddering and stuttering on my 3050 gpu which isn't a good sign and the gameplay despite the concept being good was a little too random and with everything being blue it's difficult to make out what is actually a threat on screen.
Sorry to say this wasn't a good experience for me but the concept is solid.

화면을 회전시키는 기믹을 가진 슈팅게임입니다. 스토리도 없고 파워업이나 무기변경도 없이 기본 기능을 사용해 그저 보이는 적들 다 쏴버리면 되는 단순한 구성이지만, 화면을 돌려 적들과 적탄을 뭉치게 만드는 기믹이 꽤 신선하고 재밌었습니다. 특수공격이 적탄을 지우면서 관통공격이 되도록 한 게 화면회전과 맞물려 재밌는 상황을 많이 만들어내네요.
잔기가 아닌 체력시스템이고 화면회전과 적탄을 지우는 특수공격이 있어서인지 적들의 공격이 상당히 매서운 편입니다. 하지만 체력회복 기회도 자주 주어지고 특수공격도 금방 다시 사용할 수 있어서 난이도가 그렇게까지 어렵지는 않았습니다. 후반 가면 그냥 맞으면서 비벼야 하는 상황이 너무 자주 나와 좀 싫었지만, 정신없이 화면 돌리며 적들 격추하는 재미가 좋았습니다.
인상적이긴 하지만 그래픽은 조금 불만이었는데, 화면 전체가 한 가지 색상으로 표현되는 건 신비한 분위기가 느껴져 좋았지만, 대신 눈이 금방 피로하게 되는 점은 싫었습니다. 적탄은 색상과 모양으로 금방 구분되긴 했지만, 온통 파랗고 빨갛고 하니까 눈이 좀 따갑네요.

＜昔買ってレビューを書いていなかった作品。通常のレビューより簡素＞
まだ日本におけるSteamの知名度が低かった頃のインディーSTG。
効果音周りは気持ち良く、破壊エフェクトや攻撃の気持ち良さも良好。
画面を回転させるアイデアは2DSTGならではの斬新な発想で悪くはなかったのだが、
・配色が青メインで視認性が悪い
・視認性が悪いせいで障害物によるわからん殺しが度々起きる
・変わり映えのない道中が無駄に長い
など「STGの面白さ」とは真逆の仕様をなぜか取り入れてしまっていて、せっかくのアイデアを他のゲームデザインで壊してしまっていたのが残念。
これを書いている2025年現在でも「画面を回転して遊ぶSTG」は本作を除いて存在していないと思われるので、まともに遊べるゲームデザインにしてしっかりSNS等で宣伝すれば昨今の話題になったインディーSTGのように人気が出そうな感じはする。
本作自体はとてもおすすめできる代物ではないが。

One of the most original modern shoot em ups, thanks to the 360 degrees rotating mechanic which is absolutely brilliant.
It takes a few minutes getting used to it, but it becomes natural quite quickly.

Идея интересная с поворотом цилиндра карты так чтоб пролететь препятствие или увернуться от врага.
Но реализовано не удобно, порой надо заранее знать в какую сторону и в какой момент надо вертеть карту, а иначе умрёшь т.к. среагировать невозможно ведь рефлекторно можешь повернуть карту не в ту сторону в какую надо.
Да и графика с засильем синего утомляет глаза.

Bad idea, terrible execution. There's unavoidable damage everywhere, you can take tons of hits before dying, your ship is really weak and has trouble killing basic enemies, the rotation feels like a gimmick and isn't even that useful, no real practice mode... Not a single thing about the gameplay is good.
Just make sure you change you steam controller settings so the analogue stick does the Dpad movement. I put together this quick guide to help you to do that.

After creating a steam custom controller setting for this game to allow me to use the left analogue stick for the Dpad movement, I actually think it's quite a good game and are really starting to have fun playing it.
Like other people have said, the use of blue on different shades of blue colour scheme is a negative. And the UI and menu system is a bit clunky. But these negative aspects kind of grow on you and you get use to them, so not end of the world and I think they can be overlooked.
I think it is well worth the couple of bucks I payed for it. Try to get it when it goes on sale. I purchased it for $2.39 NZ dollars.

It's a masterpiece, although I have to warn you, it's not for everybody
It relies on heavy memorization, demands impressive motor skills besides being extremely gimmicky. So if you just want a simple "dodge and shoot" this game may not be for you.
But if you wanna experience something truly unique and hellish layered, this game is for you.

By far the most visceral gaming experience I've ever had. I may only have a few hours in this game, but every time I pick it up I wish there were another dozen games just like it. Strongly recoomend playing with L and R buttons on a controller to rotate the landscape. Starts to feel like second nature.

This game is ridiculous and insane in all the best ways. It's nothing like any SHMUP I've ever played. I've spent over 40 hours playing this game because it's addictive and no two runs are the same. Once I got used to the rotating mechanics, it was all over. I love playing on the Steam Deck because nothing is small like normal bullet hell shmups. Two thumbs up, I hope the Devs come up with a sequel because this game is too damn fun.

A sweet side scrolling shoot'em up
This is hands down the best bullet hell/side scrolling shooter I've ever played. It looks absolutely stunning and the rotating mechanic is absolutely perfect for changing up the genre into something fresh. I am constantly astounded at how unknown some amazing games like this are. Seems like basically no one ever heard of this game despite it being the best shooter I've ever played!

The central 'gimmick' (that label doesn't do it justice but I don't know what else to call it) of this game is that while it is a 2D shmup on the surface (your ship scrolls and shoots to the right while moving up/down/left/right on the screen) you can rotate the environment of the game around the axis in the direction of your flight.
Imagine your ship is flying down the middle of a tube: you have the option at any time to rotate the tube.
What does this mean?
- If there is a spray of bullets coming for you: rotate! Now the plane that the bullets are spread in is perpendicular to the screen, meaning the bullets appear all in one line and you can easily dodge them.
- You can rotate to discover additional enemies or objects in the environment that were previously hidden.
- Rotate to align multiple separated enemies then destroy them simultaneously with a piercing laser.
Once you get to grips with it the rotation mechanism is really satisfying and fun to use. It seems tragic that Ikaruga is so highly lauded for its dichromatic bullets when this game is relatively unknown and doing something much more interesting. Must-buy for any shmup fan.

Hello. My name is AlcA and I've been addicted to arcade games for over 30 years. I first played this game in 2015 and immediately fell in love but I never dropped a review at the time, so here it is.
Revolver360 is an incredibly satisfying shooter for for an arcade fanatic and the game plays very much like a classic shooter but with a literal twist on it.
You have the standard shot for enemies, lazer and emp shot for taking out different bullets and an overdrive mode to bring more destruction. Pretty basic; until you you add the Revolve mechanic that allows you to turn turn the screen in 360 degrees and strategically clear massive waves of enemies and bullets. This also adds a lever of exploration that is further deepened by being able to choose different paths in the stages.
The melodic techno/trance soundtrack perfectly elevates the game to the point where I sometimes feel overwhelmed with energy.
My soul is already on fire and the music is a constant stream of gasoline.
I don't know what happened the devs after this game, but they brought a breath of fresh fire to an old genre and left me wanting more.

I'm not great at Shmups but I can confidently say this is my favorite that i've played. Novel and interesting mechanics combined with a slick presentation is very addictive. Shooting things is really really fun

Horizontal shooter with a futuristic theme. Good controls. Spin around to reveal the level. Focus on chains and bullet cancelling. Charge shot, overdrive and lock-on. Awesome graphics and sound.

I like this game a lot, its really interesting. Confusing controls however.
Really fun shooter. Screen gets really messy at times and it's hard to figure out where you are as your ship can blend into the background, but otherwise quite fun.

This is one of the most difficult games I've ever played. I thought the first level was hard, the second level is faster and more difficult. Definitely a must buy if you are looking for a challenge or if you love shoot 'em ups.

New spin (get it?) on a classic style: side scrolling shmup but in a toilet paper roll. Plays well, feels great, very enjoyable, plenty of content.
Bangin soundtrack that adds to the gameplay without being distracting. Strategy and control are needed to get high scores instead of just holding down the fire button constantly; to set up bigger combos you have to withold your firepower and time larger groups of desruction.

The defining characteristic of this game is that in addition to moving on a 2-dimensional plane like most other horizontal shoot-'em-ups, you can also rotate your ship on a horizontal axis, allowing for another dimension of movement. This is used to great effect and really does alter your interactions with not just enemies in the background, but foreground enemies and projectiles as well. The visuals have a Matrix-esque vibe to them that are trippy (especially when combined with the rotation mechanic) and beautiful (as long as you don't mind the color blue), and the excellent audio matches the visual vibes. Despite the rotation gimmick, this is still played on a 2D plane, which is still intuitive, and the controls are spot-on. Highly recommended.
Cool looking shooting in a scifi tumble dryer with interesting weapon, and rotation mechanics. It deserves a place in the shmup hall of history and greater success.

Very cool game! A 3d bullet hell shmup where you can rotate the Z-axis, pretty revolutionary stuff. While everything will be very disorientating at first, the game will open up more on further playthroughs. The 3-d rotation feels natural after a while, and with a little practice can be manipulated to perform some crazy moves. There are few moments I can recall being more satisfying in a shmup than rotating so the enemies form a neat line, then blasting them with the giga laser attack. The game is pretty short overall, but don't expect to beat it within a couple playthroughs. The longevity of the game lies in the exploration of its mechanics, and boy are they deep.
As for the presentation; The visuals are a little one-note, as most of the areas keep to the game's sterile cyber blue aesthetic though there's some variation in the actual environments. The designs of the levels and enemies are well done though, and fit the game's atmosphere well.
The music isn't anything to write home about tbh. Very synthwavey in vibe and it gets the job done, keeping with the pace of the action but none of the tracks stood out. Solid but not too memorable.
Incredibly fun game to play, with a surprising amount of depth and strategy and some of the best mechanics in a bullet hell around. as long as you don't get motion sick easily ;)

Revolver360 Re:actor is such a stupid, simple and fun game. Endless fast-paced and hardcore shooter with many mini-missions and bosses.
It is honestly really senseless, but nevertheless enjoyable. You basically need to fly around a weird blue map while shooting loads and loads of enemies. The mechanics are rather simple, which makes it easy to replay the game whenever you want (without needing to re-understand the controls for half an hour). The game is actually rather hardcore though. Even the first boss isn’t to easy to defeat. I had to try several times, before defeating him, as you lose life over time (the longer in takes to get to the boss).
The tech aesthetics are nice, and the soundtrack is great.
The price is also totally fine. I definitely recommend this great time-killer.

A very innovative horizontal SHMUP where you can rotate the perspective 360° degrees like if you were in a tunnel. Overall the presentation is quite blue and the music is really nice.
A single playthrough is about 30 minutes long, but don't expect to beat it in your first try. However, don't feel intimidated by that, REVOLVER360 is far from the psychotic difficulty this genre is known for, even though it remains hard by average video game standards. I recommend playing the challenges to learn more about how to play.
After a first entry that introduced us to its innovative mechanics, Cross Eaglet sets to improve the experience in this sequel with an enhance presentation and refined gameplay which make for a more complete and substantial adventure that would really stand out against the tough competition.

Varied and inspired enemy designs populate the rich and detailed backgrounds you will travel through. Completely modeled in 3D, the vivid blue which rules this world gives it a unique identity while also making the bullets fired at you easy to spot and -- in consequence -- the action never confusing.
- Gameplay -
Armed with a laser and EMP that will absord enemy bullets along with you standard shots and clearing overdrive option, the main mechanic you truly need to master is your ability to rotate the screen 360° to avoid attacks, chain hostiles and optimize your attacks to reach for the highest score.
- Story -
There isn't much of a story -- as far as I am aware -- but the way your progression through the stages is designed really makes you feel like you're travelling in a world which feels alive. It's consistant, coherent and very refreshing in a genre where you're -- most of the time -- just another battleship lost in a warfield.
- Sound -
Solid sound cues will constantly inform you of incoming dangers, junction points and recharged weapons. Satisfying shots and explosions will reward your mayhem. The haunting electro soundtrack -- available for free in your purchase -- fits perfectly the visuals and how the action dynamically changes during the levels.
- Replay Value -
Count fifteen minutes to conquer Re:Actor Mode but it's heavily recommended you complete the Challenge Mode first to learn and master every mechanic at your disposal. A Practice Mode will help learn enemies placement and stages layout while leaderboards and achievements will keep you coming back for more.
"Revolver360 Re:Actor" is an underrated gem. It can be overwhelming at first -- considering the amount of information to process in addition to your ship's capabilities -- but makes for an addictive and satisfying experience like no others once you get the hang of it. A must-have for Shoot'Em Up fans.

Great concept, packed with fast paced action, unique and clever "rotation" mechanic, nice soundtrack and... everything in blue... literally everything.
I can't keep track of the enemies due this, bullets are ease to dodge, but the enemies themselves and the hazards keep f@cking me.
Also, for some unknow reason, the Xbox controller does not work (a minor inconvenience since the keyboard is Ok for this game).
Still recommended, since it's not the games fault my lack of concentration thanks to vitreous detachment in my eyeballs.
It's a complex game that is fun and exciting.
There are multiple ways to cancel bullets and handle score multipliers. And with them and the screen rotation mechanism combined, this game will keep you busy.
I personally recommend to keep the controller vibration enabled because it really helps getting notified when you're hit.
Play this game before it's too late, I enjoyed it a while ago but nowadays I can't endure the nausea.

I can't get to play this game. Whatever the resolution, it gets into the quarter of my screen and I'm getting the quarter of the screen. All this time I spent on it was trying to get it ful screen.

Looks innovative, but really hard to play. And requires a lot of memorizing to clear the game.
Hardcore bullet hell gamers may like this, but I'd say not recommended if you just want some "casual play" and dodge with your instinct and reflex.
It looks cool and stylist in the trailer. But almost everything is in BLUE, including background and enemies and some bullets. Hurt my eyes and sometimes it's hard to read what's in the background. (You have the ability to shoot things in the background, and sometimes you have to)
Things can come and hurt you from outside the screen. There are hints indicating something coming from your back or side (up/down) but that only appears only 1 second beforehand. Depending on where you are that could be too late. The best way to deal with it is to memorize where and when that comes and properly rotate at the right time. Whether that's fun is up to you.
Only 1 difficulty, No continue. There is a practice mode you can play any stage you've cleared.
Good thing is there's a global ranking and you can watch replays from other players. So yeah, you can learn from others and git gud, It's just not my thing to play games with a walkthrough.
The reviews are all positive, but I doubt how people like this. If you check the Achievements, There are achievements for playing 1 hour, 3 hours and 5 hours. 1 hour only has like 10%, 5 hours is pretty rare, like 1-2%. Well that does not include the time you are in menu or watch replays, but still, that looks pretty short.

This game, IS POPIN´show this game to your grandpa and he will have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ seizure Tho.
Action packed bullet hell with a twist 3d Omnidirecional prefixed camera. (imagine a flying cilinder that can shoot... wel thats you).
1 downside and its the ONLY DOWNSIDE (yhea as i said game is incredible) there isn´t any kind of customization, game has 1 ship, 2 weapons (Auto and laser) and the iconic "bomb" is replaced with a Emp (aka Erase enemy bullets) and a penetrative shot if not loaded (that can absorb those bullets)

J’ai vite compris que le 360 c’était pour votre zone de kill. Oui, pour éviter des tirs, vous devez changer l’angle de vue, pareil si vous voulez tuer tous vos ennemis.
Dans une autre évaluation, j’avais dit que tous les jeux édités par Playism étaient des bijoux qui avaient un problème mortel, là, le problème mortel c’est le 360°, ce qui donne à ce jeu une réelle consistance et qui le démarque de tous les autres.

Très bon shoot them up qui vous mettra à rude épreuve sur 360 degrés. Un concept avec lequel il faudra vous familiariser, mais ensuite, ce ne sont que joie et massacres. Bref, Revolver360 vaut son prix!

A unique take on Shoot 'Em Up genre. The game looks beautiful. Probably need some time to get familiar with the revolve. Challenge mode is kinda nice to have.
A very unique take on the old-school radial shooter, taking the mechanic of a game like Tempest and turning into a fast-paced side-scroller where the player rotates the environment around to change the orientation of combat. This use of 3D space is very clever and well-implemented.
Music and visuals are good, but I would so a downside is the "Tron" aesthetic may not be for everyone and can lead to a little visual overload at times.
