Great game. Many high quality mods 👍
However the new weapon/vehicle config window is very annoying to use.
All the icons have to load in at once, causing lag and long waiting times.
You should be able to turn weapon icons off in the settings to speed up the process, like in the old config panel.
A viewmodel/weapon FOV slider that's separate from the base FOV one would also be a great addition.

Could use an update for the meh map maker, but it is a very fun game kept alive by it's modding community. PLEASE give the modders new map editors bro, they keep us alive
Ravenfield is an excellent indie project that makes FPS more available for low end PCs.
Its deeply customisable and has a massive workshop packed with mods. G-Mod amount of mods.
The NPCs are aren't perfect, they follow pre-set paths which makes rounds a little predictable--however that is dependent on how powerful your CPU is. It still makes for a fun experience and challenges players. (The NPCs are aimbotting monsters.)
For a sandbox, its worth more than it costs.
And its still better than Black Ops 7.

Its not a stellar game by any means but there's little i have to complain about it, Its a really fun game, Fun to just mess around in, I don't know what could be added but its a bit too simplistic in some areas like the AI.

like the update but can we have the old campaign with the new campaign, just diffrent i liked the way the old one worked with research but i like the new ones flow, so can we maybe do a bigger onslught variation which combines the two into one
1 i liked the old ones unit movement, but i like the quest line of the new so keep the old fight for area style, but add more then one fight to it so have like three or five in a line where you can defend and attack (if attacked or you attack like in the old version)
2 add in like reasearch like you had in the first one(stratagy board) but still add the rng for while you are in the line of combat (which you could research for later lines of combat on the stratagy board it will make the campaign longer ofc, and make it so you can unlock things for later lines of combat
I'm 58 so probably older then a lot of "gamers" so take this with a grain of salt, but the flight controls and I do not get along, my SVD however works very well. Super cool game.
Played this game all throught my childhood and still play it every now and then. How active the developer and modders still are after all these years amazes me. Worth the money.

Ravenfield is basically what happens if you take a classic Battlefield-style game and turn it into a chaotic single-player sandbox—and somehow, it works way better than it should.
The core gameplay is simple: large-scale battles with bots, capture points, and tons of weapons and vehicles. But the magic is in how customizable everything is. You can control how many soldiers are in a match, how aggressive they are, and even direct your team’s strategy. Despite being single-player only, the battles feel huge and dynamic, with hundreds of AI fighting at once.
What really carries the game, though, is the modding. The Steam Workshop is absolutely packed with custom maps, weapons, vehicles, and even full conversions. Players constantly say the game has “nearly unlimited modding potential” and tons of replayability because you can basically build your own version of the game.

Jugué este juego por primera vez cuando tenía 12 años, desde la beta donde los personajes solo eran cuadrados. Mi laptop no era muy buena y este juego me acompañó en mi infancia, tengo muchos recuerdos con este, y ahora ya más grande me alegra haberlo comprado.

Ravenfield is basically what happens if a chaotic battlefield and a crayon eating toddler had a baby—simple graphics, but absolute mayhem. The bots are hilariously dumb sometimes, yet somehow still manage to squad-wipe you when you least expect it. It’s super moddable, so you can go from funny red vs blue game to squad level milsim in minutes
