И очередная игра с прохождением на все достижения. Хоть и потребовалось руководство для поиска некоторых скрытых предметов. Если в прошлых частях предметов было по паре на каждом экране, то тут где-то могут быть даже 3 предмета. Так что нужно не упустить скрытое, чтобы получить весь список.

Из плюшек стандартный набор - облако, поддержка линукс, карточки и достижения. Русский язык также с небольшими огрехами. Но в целом всё проходится без затыков и решается довольно быстро. То есть история в повествовании практически не тормозит.

Kolejny HOG od Artifexu (a przynajmniej przez niego wydany) - to dalej "to samo". Jak podobały się poprzednie gry, to ta też podejdzie.

Z różnic: kolejna część "serii" i dalej nie wiem, czemu to jest seria, bo związku z poprzednimi nie widać. Do tego naliczyłem więcej baboli w tekstach niż w większości innych gier tego typu. Literówki, mylenie płci, a do tego też czasem teksty lubią sobie zniknąć szybciej niż powinny.

Mimo niechlujstwa i durnowatej fabuły, klikanie i szukanie rzeczy przez parę godzin nadal bawi.

This game is more neutral for me but I'm rating it negative purely because it literally tells you the story (through minigames) and yet you cannot and do not do anything about it. You stick to your course as if you had skipped the games. It doesn't let you talk to your best friend, doesn't let you do the things any normal human would do, and has some of the most frustratingly annoying puzzles. It's an alright game, with an alright story and an alright overall setup, but it tries too hard to go for a shock that just isn't there because, once again, they told us this earlier. When it comes down to it, I don't particularly care. And all of that, for $15? Ha. Ha. Haha. No.

Good characters and voices in this one, has a Harry Potter vibe with off brand Dumbledore, Snape, and female goth Malfoy. The merchant was very silly and was the star of the game in my opinion, I wish the bonus story was about him instead of the fairies. The fantasy environment in this one has been overdone in most HOGs but the characters really make up for it. Puzzles and HO scenes were all pretty easy, 100%ing the game should be pretty easy for most.

"Queen's Quest 3: The End of Dawn" is a free mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as a lazy, cheap cash grab. It's a routine mobile ported hidden object casual puzzle/adventure game with a historical/fantasy/mystery theme. Solving various puzzles and hidden object minigames progresses the plot and unravels the mystery.

As with most mobile ported HOGs, there's a simplistic interface, locked/unchangeable screen resolution, next to no customisability, and somewhat low resolution graphical assets. All of this puts this game below minimum standards for a contemporary PC game, and Artifex Mundi have been polluting Steam with these low effort mobile apps for years.

From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard.

There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision.

The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just point and click stuff like a browser/Flash game. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here.

These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game.

Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this game was with players reveals a surprise... there's a very healthy spike in player counts for the game. But this only appears around the same time that trading cards were applied to the game... so this is just card idlers getting their cards and moving on. A closer look at the numbers shows the game just has a couple of players every week running up the game and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with no merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards.

Once more we see greedy mobile devs trying to scam PC gamers. On Steam, this is an eye watering $15 USD (You could get the entire Mass Effect Trilogy for the same price as this mobile app), on app stores, it's free. Mobile devs must learn PC gamers are not here to be gouged, and can't be expected to pay FIFTEEN BUCKS FOR A FREE MOBILE APP just because it's been lazily dumped on Steam. This is unacceptable disrespect for PC gamers. Because this can be played free elsewhere, and because of the other defects, it's impossible to recommend.

Sehr schönes Fantasy-Wimmelbildspiel für zwischendurch. Die Story hat mir hier ganz gut gefallen. Mit dem ersten beiden Teil hat das aber nicht wirklich was zu tun.
Wirklich schön und von den Rätseln auch angenehm abwechslungsreich. Auch die Spielzeit ist wirklich ok.

A third game in the series of Queen's Quest and I have a question... WHERE is the Queen?! Or rather... WHO is/was the QUEEN?!

First game -> The Queen was the MC. Second -> The Queen was an NPC, but third... None? In that case... This game should be called "The Chosen One's Quest"... Minus the three. I didn't spend too much brain power coming up with that one.

But that's just me picking on it for fun. The game is fine, just fine. Long gone are the days where H.O.G. would take you a while to do... Where a mini game could take all your beautiful brain cells, having you complete it in over 10 min + get an Achievement. The same Achievement you would feel pride over...

Here... The puzzles have outlines for "jigsaw-type" ones and eh... Mini-games are simple enough. Some will take time tinkering with them, but you can do it.

Graphics, everything is beautiful. Story is nothing new but I like magic and fantasy so that was good and... Okay, the twist was unexpected. Just like they got me in the 2nd game. GOOD.

The Bonus game... I think most of the time was spent on graphics/designs and they got a bit tired hiding items, so that one isn't too focused on being sneaky/tricky. Sa right... It's a Bonus game. Just something else for you to have fun with.

So not bad, not bad at all and it was enjoyed. Thank you! :D =)

It may have nothing to do with queen's or royalty in general, and it's also a kind of Dollar Tree Harry Potter rip-off but it's still an enjoyable HOG for the most part. It's certainly way better than the first "Queen's Quest!"

I did like the story including the (somewhat predictable) twist, but I felt that it went on for a bit too long and dragged near the end.

Graphics/Animation: 4/5
Lovely environments and landscapes. Plus, you can sort of pet some bunnies and mice here and there. The character animations are actually not bad but the 3D animation sequences look very clunky.

Voice Acting: 4/5
Good for the most part but some character voices were a little flat

Hidden Object Puzzles: 4.5/5
Plenty of them, and a nice variety of the standard "find all these items" and "find these specific pieces/parts." I was a little confused by some of the wording at times. i.e. "Club" actually was the club symbol you see on playing cards, not a weapon.

Other Puzzles: 4.5/5
A nice variety of easy and reasonably challenging puzzles. I have to call b.s. on the one "puzzle" where you have to find certain branch pieces in a big mess of vines and twigs.

Music/Sound: 5/5
A very beautiful and epic soundtrack fitting for a fantasy adventure story.

Final Grade: 85% B

Definitely worth buying, although, waiting for a sale isn't a bad idea.

Queen's Quest 3: The End of Dawn третья игра знаменитой серии про алхимиков, жанра поиск предметов. Игра стала более красочной, а сюжет более цельным. Стоит за это поблагодарить разработчиков.
Вам предстоит играть за Элиану, талантливого алхимика. Помогите девушке спасти родной город и дорогих ей людей от сил зла.
Графика в игре находится на очень высоком уровне: локации прорисованы просто отлично. Музыкальное сопровождение вне всяких похвал. Локаций стало больше, по сравнению со второй частью. Очень понравилось большое разнообразие головоломок, некоторые из них оказались очень сложными. В игре появился амулет для битвы с боссами, а также помощница фея. На мой взгляд, не очень нужные вещи. Лучше бы оставили создание рецептов, как в прошлой части. Ведь мы же за алхимика играем!
В целом игру рекомендую, особенно ценителям жанра.
Имеются коллекционные карточки и достижения.

这已经不是我第一次为冲动购买整个系列后悔了，尽管它的封面、美术和简介都相当具有吸引力，这可能是游戏里唯一有价值的东西。[spoiler] 我也并不是头一回在故事里扮演一个被蒙蔽的无知之人、一柄没有自我思考的工具、一个间接造成灾难的存在，但实话实说，这里面的每个场景和NPC都让人联想到著名的哈利波特系列，好心但愚蠢的校长和潜伏在学院里的黑发阴沉教授（我之前甚至以为他是来帮助我们主角的！）有没有影射什么，谁知道呢？或许只是偷懒挪用了别人的东西。最离奇的是主角能轻而易举打败苏醒后正在汲取力量的终极反派，一头曾经造成整个世界荒芜的龙！已经能看出来贯穿整个剧情的逻辑有多荒诞了吧？[/spoiler]
接下来是谜题部分，不能说它简单，必须说它凌乱且毫无层次感，也不能说它很难，应该说充满了大量无意义重复操作，有几个谜题没有线索，只能让你挨个试错得出，这对智力游戏来说一点都不有趣，它会让你越玩越暴躁，只想快点结束这一切。
尤其值得一提的是大量时隐时现的收藏品：42个徽章、16顶帽子和8个鬼魂。我不是一个全成就收集爱好者，但即便如此，我还是认为，如果有人真的做到了这一点，他理应获得比全成就更多的奖励，否则这是不公平的lol
总之，很难想象这个系列能源源不断出续作，我唯一能想到的理由是成本低廉，能轻而易举哄骗玩家掏钱，这对口碑的打击是毁灭性的，我以后会更谨慎地审视这家公司的每个游戏了……每个！

Feel free to play this game without having played the first ones, it's a stand-alone story with zero common characters or worlds, as seems to be the standard of this 'series'.

Not the best animations or voice acting, the plot is pretty meh, the music is on too clear a loop, and the sound for finding the correct item in the HO scenes is really annoying, feel like I'm being punished for being correct. The ingame objectives pop-up notifications take up WAY too much of the screen, pretty much half of it when you get two at once, with is often. I also kept accidentally clicking 'back' instead of on whatever on the screen, because the the back-area takes up too much of the screen imo. Just lots of little things that should have been fixed after QA before release.

The non-animation art is nice, the HO scenes are not too pixel-hunty when looking for visible objects, but it does have a lot of 'hidden' HOs which felt a lot more 'hover cursor over the entirety of the screen and see when it changes to activable item' than the last game felt. Possibly because it was harder to see when the cursor changed in this one.
The puzzles aren't too hard and no guide should be needed (there are actually no guides in the community hub at the time of this review, which says something about the puzzle-difficulty).

The went on for longer than I expected and you visit several worlds in order to complete your non-queen quest. The faerie is back! Also there be dragon. The bonus chapter is pretty long, for an extra.

The 2nd game is still my favourite in the series, but this is better than the 1st one.
There's just something about playing a chosen-one teenage child that feels very trope and bland, while an actually skilled alchemist with agency and personality in the 2nd was much better.

The game grew on me a bit tbh, not sure why, so I went into this review thinking I'd give it a positive, but reading it over, yeah maybe a negative to bring it closer to a mixed overall rating, which is how I feel about it. If it had fewer bugs and nuisances, it would probably be fine.
It's not a trash game and was worth my time playing, but it just didn't feel as good as the 2nd.

You can do better, Brave Giant, I believe in you. Maybe ..idk.. bring in a queen next time.

Non ?) semble souffler un petit coup avec ce "Queen's Quest 3 : The End of Dawn", qui n'est pas mauvais, bien loin de là mais qui fait tout de même pâle figure à côté de son prédécesseur.

Concernant le scénario, nous sommes de nouveau au côté d'une alchimiste, apprentie dans son art - mais qui ne parviendra pas à la cheville de celle que nous incarnions dans le deuxième opus, disons les choses clairement. Néanmoins, on se retrouve immédiatement plongé dans son monde, rempli de prophéties étranges. Dans l'ensemble, on reste sur une histoire simpliste mais qui, contrairement aux deux opus précédents, parvient à surprendre par son intrigue à rebondissement : dès l'instant que l'on croit - à raison, vu le gabarit et la "facilité" qu'usent parfois (si ce n'est tout le temps) ces jeux - avoir compris quelque chose à l'intrigue (du style ce qu'il va se passer ou qui est le grand méchant de l'histoire ; un des points le mieux mis en avant), cet opus réussi le pari de tout remettre en question ; et pour une nouveauté, c'en est une bien belle ! Autrement, comme déclaré précédemment et souligné dans les précédentes critiques, on reste sur un niveau d'intrigue assez simple mais qui se permet une certaine richesse d'événements pour ne pas proposer un divertissement plat.

Au niveau de la technique, que dire d'un "point and click" ? C'est bien de ce point de vue là que rien ne change : on retrouve des minis-jeux inhérents à ce type de divertissement, les énigmes (et minis-jeux) sont plutôt simples et les associations d'objets sont toujours d'un casse-tête extraordinaire ; la plupart des associations demeurent logiques, ou du moins possèdent une logique - même si elle est très poussée, mais une bonne majorité est tout bonnement spectaculaire de non-sens. Mais bon, c'est le jeu qui veut ça, je suppose... Quoi qu'il en soit, on est sur un terrain connu et il est assez "réconfortant" pour ne pas se sentir lésé.

Pour la patte graphique, on est toujours sur des décors et tableaux richement détaillés, colorés... véhiculant cette immersion si significative à ce type de jeu : qu'en peu de choses, l'immersion soit tout de même de la partie est tout bonnement étonnant et bienvenue, il va sans dire ; bien que cette fois-ci, nous n'ayons pas une reprise d'un lieu, d'une place-forte célèbre comme c'était le cas pour les titres précédents. Néanmoins, on pourra pointer du doigt quelques animations (notamment concernant notre adjuvante féerique) moyennes, voire même plus que moyenne.

Pour les musiques, on demeure sur un résultat musical tout à fait convenable qui saura ravir les passionnés de cette série.

Dans l'ensemble, "Queen's Quest 3 : The End of Dawn" est une réussite : on reste sur les rails préétablies en proposant un divertissement simple mais efficace grâce à une richesse des décors, des musiques sympathiques et des énigmes non renversantes mais qui font le café ! EN bref, à l'instar des premiers épisodes, je ne peux que recommander ce troisième jeu qui saura offrir quelques heures de divertissement.

The third game of the series Queen's quest can be played as a stand-alone as the story of this series is not connected. In this game, you play as Eliana, a 16 years old alchemist who's been found as a child in front of the academy. Not knowing her origin, Eeliana discovers that she has a huge task to take to save the world.. A very mediocre story, expected from Artifex Mundi's new games.

The artwork is beautiful, the areas are nicely drawn and the details are lovely, same goes for the hidden objects scenes, I enjoyed them as they are not recycled. The puzzles are ok, a couple of them are quite difficult but quite enjoyable. The soundtrack gave the right atmosphere to the game, I liked it a lot.

It is still playable if you enjoy Hidden objects scenes and puzzles while ignoring the story. The bonus chapter was boring as it is a side story for the fairy world, the little helper fairy Dhalia needs your help to save her land from the gargoyles. Kind of a meh story but still a time killer. Only recommended to people who really enjoy HOGs.

The main downside about this part of the series, is the senselessness of the puzzles. Not only are they too easy, a lot of things are "done for you", leaving the player with a sensation of not doing anything at all. To say something positive, the looks of the game are fairly good and the items you need to find (e.g. 'find this key to open that, revealing a puzzle etc.') are plenty enough to keep you a little entertained. It's just a pity the puzzles were so bad that it ruined what could have had real potential.

This one I had kind of forgotten about honestly in the Queen's Quest series. In retrospect, with the fairy being part of the game, it reminds me of the first game, though not sure if that's meant to imply they share the same world unlike the second game.

This one is a little more straightforward than the first one, which I like, but it's not quite as good as the third, that one and Queen's Quest 5, which is a sequel to 2, are my favorites of this series.

This game has a ton of collectibles, but unlike many of the other games, there's not menu item to check if you've found the collectibles in an area. I actually had to do 2 playthroughs to find them all despite having done it before.

The story is fine, but I wish they leaned a little more into the academy aspect of the game. I'd love a game that's more centered around exploring a magic academy, though maybe that's outside the scope of these kinds of games.

It does come with a bonus adventure too. Overall, definitely worth a play.

Ku memu zaskoczeniu gra na (prawie) najwyższym technicznym poziomie. Kolejne plansze są żywe, kolorowe, z pięknymi szczegółami. Grafika teł jest po prostu zachwycająca. Z modelami ludzi jest już oczywiście troszkę gorzej, denerwuje też momentami długi (2-3 sek.) czas ładowania) np. po cutscence. Ale największą bolączką jest wyraźnie pretekstowa fabuła.. Ale zróżnicowane, chwilami niebanalne zagadki plus śliczna oprawa robi swoją robotę, dzięki czemu gra się baaardzo przyjemnie. Z czystym sumieniem polecam!

A great game! Very different from the previous one (again), which I was kinda sad about since I very much enjoyed part 2. And there are a few things they stumbled on here - most notably the exposition minigame, in which the voiceover did not match the subtitles at all, and in fact contained many weird grammar errors that the subtitles fixed. The narrator was great tho, I'm not sure why they had him reading the badly translated version. Some of the puzzles were kinda weird in general - I particularly wasn't a fan of the slow animations in the HOG scenes, especially when one of the achievements was to finish a HOG in less than a minute! I stressed so much over that lol, but they do give you a few quick/easy ones so don't worry.

That aside, so many things in this game were surprisingly amazing! The plot really took me by surprise, so many characters and a lot of interesting worldbuilding. Usually you can easily see the twist coming, but in this game I wasn't sure which was a lot of fun! I also really liked how they handled collectibles in this game - there are hats and ghosts that give you little bios from other wizards when you find them, and crests that tell you more about the various kingdoms when you collect all of the same type. Unlike others I've played they're actually really interesting and fun to read, and if you do it fleshes out the world in a way that most games like this don't do well. I was really pleasantly surprised how much world building they were able to do that way! I see a few reviews complaining about how many collectibles there are (and I mean, fair, there are 42 crests lol) BUT this game does give you the "you've found everything" indicator AND the collectibles are actually fun, so I didn't mind it.

Overall, really fun game! I am hoping we get back to the character from part 2 at some point though. 8/10

A decent puzzle game with both a variety of different puzzles and hidden objects game. The story aspect has improved greatly from the first game, although there are still glaring holes in some areas. This may be a spoiler but the whole story could have been avoided if people simply talked to each other which in my point of view is a glaring issue. Still, I found myself enjoying this game most of the time, and it was worth it considering that got it on promotion.

Such a wonderful game!

Not only does the game look great, have nice music all through, but the story is also pretty exciting, and the way you progress through the game is very creative as well. The game is pretty long too, so you get more value for your money, and a longer story.

For previous games I've been interested in finishing all the achievements and finding all the collectibles. For this game and also the previous game (Queen's Quest 2) I was surprised to see that the things you collect, actually gives you more insight into fairy tale beasts or figures. For this game you get to read about different important characters from this world. Even though most of these characters aren't really in the game, it's kinda fun to read. It's like those wizard cards from Harry Potter.

The first game was about a Queen fitting of the games name. The second had nothing to do with the game before and was about an alchemist that was also a detective which was a great idea. And this time in the 3rd installment we got alchemists again but not combined with the second nope it is a completely new story again. The only thing they have in common is the name nothing more which is a letdown.

Good:
+ Movies wernt a lot but they were wellmade.
+ Artstyle: Just beautiful.
+Voices/Sounds/Music: Were allfitting and used well.
+HO: Most HO were really beautiful and well made. I also liked that they continued to use the function that an object changes their look and you have to look more careful.
+Hint Button: In a lot of games the "Hint Button" is way to big and I nearly missclick on it a few times even if it isnt need and rip Achievments and playing without help. BUT in this game it is the perfect size please keep it that size.

Good/Bad
+/- Characters: I was hopeful when I saw it was about Alchemists again but sadly no connection and the Characters were kind of easy to predict and there wasnt a single surprise there.
+/- :Minigames: That was hard to place for me. A lot were really wellmade and unique but others were just the classical we see in every HO even in their own series. Also a lot were overcomplicated made. You found the items or know the code but you have the 2 silly items exactly in that specific order even if it doesnt matter or a minigame where there are 4 buttons and you only need to click on all without an order. Just wasted time.
+/-_ Collections: I find the idea not bad making a lot of diffrent ones and it was nice that you got a "light" on the left side that shows if you were still missing one at the place you are at. But this seemed not working that well. I cleared all areas the light went off and I was still missing one till the end. Sadly like in most games to a lot of places you cant go back and your own fault play it from the start again.
+/- Achievments: I am glad they are here again like in the first 2 games. Connected with the point above it seemed buggy or there were more hidden than there should be. I didnt get all sadly cause of that.

Bad:
-Story: It was cliche and not a good one. No surprises and it good worse the longer it went on.
-Lenght: I was finished in only a little over 3 hours without using a single Hint or skip and that is kind of a let down.
-Oversensitive selection: A lot of times it selected items I didnt click at and sometimes it didnt get registered which was annoying.

Overall not a bad game. Sadly I expected a little more of Artifex Muni cause a lot of games are really great. I will continue to play all of this "Queens Quest" but the best was the second so for. I was torn between recommending or not cause it was waaay worse than the first one and I wish there was a "MEH" besides the yes and no. Cause the second was to good it gets sadly a thumbs down.

Nada mal, entretiene lo justo. Historia decente, aunque desde luego tampoco es que sea para tirar cohetes, por ese precio los hay mejores. He visto alguna laguna en el argumento, tampoco nada del otro mundo, pero supongo que es lo que se les ha ocurrido. Las escenas bien, casi todas son pasables, pero si que se nota poca variedad en la tematica que han elegido. En general si está en oferta puede ser una buena comprar, no creo que compense su precio normal teniendo mejores alternativas.

"Queen's Quest 3" ist auf jeden Fall deutlich besser, als sein Vorgänger. Dennoch, so ganz kann mich auch dieser Teil der Serie nicht überzeugen.

Wir spielen Eliana, eine vielversprechende Absolventin der Akademie der Alchemie, um die sich jedoch ein großes Geheimnis rankt. Mehr über unsere Vergangenheit als Findelkind erfahren wir auf unserer gefährlichen Mission, bei der wir ein mächtiges Artefakt finden müssen. Nur so können wir die bösen Mächte besiegen und unsere Heimatstadt retten.

Eine Geschichte, die im Vergleich zum Vorgänger deutlich mehr überzeugt. Auch die Grafik ist insgesamt wieder sehr ansprechend. Mir gefällt, dass es in jeder Szene von verschiedenen kleinen Tieren nur so wimmelt und diese durch Anklicken auch zu Reaktionen animiert werden können. Die Wimmelbildszenen sind recht abwechslungsreich und ebenfalls gut gemacht. Es gibt wieder einen Sammelmodus (Wappen, Hüte und Geister) und dieses Mal begleitet uns durch die gesamte Geschichte eine kleine Fee, die uns immer dann helfen kann, wenn benötigte Dinge nicht erreichbar für uns sind. Ihr müssen wir im Gegenzug im späteren Bonuskapitel helfen.

Dennoch fehlen mir auch in diesem Teil wieder gute und herausfordernde Mini-Spiele. Wie schon Teil 2 spielt sich auch "Queen's Quest 3" von den Wimmelbildern abgesehen mehr wie eine interaktive Geschichte und weniger wie ein Rätselspiel. Ich werde mit der Queen's-Quest-Reihe also einfach nicht so richtig warm.

Insgesamt gibt es deshalb auch für diesen Teil der Serie nur eine bedingte Empfehlung von mir.

The translation on some of the dialog is not necessarily verbatim; game but is okay for passing the time.
The only thing that irks me is that the clickable areas are larger than normal (especially the back arrow) a little disappointing in this series from Artifex Mundi causing these clickable items to be a little misaligned in some places.
I didn't want to rate this a NO but 'Meh' is not an option.

Esta saga de Queen's Quest de Artifex la verdad es que tiene una calidad bastante baja. Los hacen como churros y repiten premisas ya conocidas. En el caso que nos ocupa, los puzzles son demasiado fáciles, así como los minijuegos. Lo único reseñable es que los logros (que en Steam tienen un bug y no se ven bien) son bastante fáciles de sacar sin rejugar el juego.

Se agradece el capítulo de bonus que incluyen todos y tiene una duración adecuada. Aún así, sólo lo recomendaría si lo encuentras rebajado, como la mayoría de estos juegos, porque son bastante simplones. Gráficos y efectos bastante poco trabajados.

Moje druhá hra tohoto typu. Opět příjemná klikačka, člověk se u ní odreaguje. Za sebe musím říct, že u Queen's Quest 2 se mi víc líbil příběh, ale je to subjektivní dojem.
Achievementy opět asi vcelku lehké, když si dá člověk pozor od začátku. Já si asi úplně nedal, vracet se nedá. Znovuhratelnost jen kvůli achievementu je dost nepravděpodobná (zvlášť, když mám v knihovně 10 dalších her tohoto tématu - koupeno v jednom bundlu za pár fufníků).

+ příjemná grafika
+ relax hudba
+ odpočinková hra, nijak složité puzzles

- není to žánr pro každého
- nepravděpodobná znovuhratelnost

Fairly standard HOPA. Felt a bit weak for Artifex Mundi standards. Main story took 3.5 hours and the bonus chapter another 45 minutes.

Best thing about the game is that it starts with the letter "Q" (fairly hard letter in the alphabet challenge)

I'm not even done yet, and have to write a review. This is a bad game. I've played worse hidden object games, but this one is peculiarly bad. (It shows 56 hours because I left it open a couple of days.)

The mini-games are not fun or clever. There are too many that are the type where when you move or select one thing, it moves or selects another. Not original and for me those are frustrating and not fun. Some are too hard, most are the same old ones we've seen. Then I just did one jigsaw puzzle where all the pieces were outlined on the board.

It leads you through step-by-step. It's far too linear. Yet the pieces you need to use often don't make much sense.

I didn't think that the original story was too terrible for this type of game. I don't really care that much about the story, I just want to find things.

They have silouette-type hidden object scenes where the silouette looks nothing like the object. And then there were a few hidden object scenes were when you hovered over a thing you could interact with, the cursor didn't change.

In the main game, the difference in cursor between normal and when you could interact with something was not different enough, making it annoying.

in general, it was a pretty average HOG, but all these little things added up to it being quite bad.

An OK hidden object game. I found some of the voice acting a bit annoying and I wish the person who ends up betraying you was just a bit less obvious. The hidden object parts were actually a bit harder than usual for this sort of game. I don't think the little light in the corner indicating collectables was always accurate; but then again I might have missed something.

Overall a decent HO game, but the last minigame was so frustrating I skipped it, which sucks for the final battle, so to speak. It's a "hit the button as the bar passes over a certain point" type game, but no matter how many times i hit the button as instructed I failed. I finally got one after intentionally letting the bar go too far, which tells me there's some sort of error or bizarre offset. if you're okay with skipping mini games go for it.

Its an enjoyable game, fairly logical, a variety of puzzles/mini-games, which is good as sometimes you can have too many of the same, wasn't too difficult to get all the achievements, suprisingly there was even a small amount of lore in the achievement section of the menu.
I didn't encounter any bugs in the game, all in all a good game

A part pour le premier jeu, la série devrait plutôt s'appeler "Alchemist's quest", il n'y a vraiment plus de reine en jeu.
Le scénario est légèrement plus intéressant, tout en restant pas du tout original (vagues inspirations du Hobbit et de Harry Potter).
Alors enfin une note positive pour un épisode de la série?
Hélas non, car le voice acting est toujours aussi catastrophique, et en plus de quelques erreurs de traduction dans le scénario, il y en a dans la dénomination des objets à trouver, un comble pour un HOG.
Ajoutez à cela les objets qui apparaissent et disparaissent ainsi que les objets métamorphes, véritables plaies dans le jeu, et finalement un radar qui me signale que j'ai tout trouvé (youpi!) alors qu'en fait non, il me manque 1 objet pour avoir le trophée (yurk!)

I enjoy the Queen's Quest series, but it's not for everyone. It has lots of Hidden-Object Scenes, and lots and lots of puzzles. A few are easy, most are enjoyable and some are head-scratching. There was one Lights-Out puzzle in a 3x4 grid that I somehow solved by random button-clicking. Some of the puzzles were clever in a fun way.

What makes this game not for everybody is that there are a maddening number of collectibles. Something like 42 shields, 16 hats and about as many ghosts.

Also, if you're English-speaking and proud of that fact, you will find some of the translations to be a bit ridiculous. But that is a staple of the genre, as it seems many HOGs are made in East Europe or West Russia and places like that.

This game has nothing to do with the other Queens Quest game I played beyond that they both exist in high-fantasy worlds, the places that are filled with humans, elves, dwarves, orcs, minotaurs and Murlocks. As these are rather generic worlds I'm not sure it's the same fantasy world or not; there are no common characters between the games.

One nice feature of this game is that there is no back-tracking. You are given a set of 3 or 4 rooms at a time, and you are pretty much stuck there until you solve everything. There is no going back to previous rooms. (I suppose if you miss a collectible, you have to do a 2nd play-through.... )

So, if you enjoy Hidden-Object scenes, lots and lots of puzzles, and a plot that exists just to get you from one set of rooms to another, then this is your game.

Since the plot is ridiculous, I will comment on it: you don't play the heroine. You actually play the first four chapters being the villain, causing a total mess of things, and then in the last chapter the evil dragon discards you as useless, so you kill him and his main assistant. You blame them for fooling you, and all the good people take you back and life goes on.

Anyway, there were good HOG scenes, with lots of variety in them. Some were standard, some were like FROG scenes, some were 'find 12 of x' and some where 'find the thing that you see a silhouette of.' So a thumbs-up for that.
